Where: Akane Town, resort
Who: Angelo
For:
@Jangel13

"How was I supposed to know you could. I don't even know what your magic is for that matter." Joshua said before listening to Angelo's estimate on the number of enemies remaining, which caused him to curse under his breathe. The way things were going, he might end up rather injured by the time they were done here, if not possibly dead by some unfortunate accident. He guessed it was time to get serious. The question was if he and Angelo should stick together or split up. If he had to guess, from what he had seen, the last of the ransackers would be in a group so it was probably best to stick together." Alright then, let's take these bastards out. We should probably stick together. So let's get going and finish this already."

After consulting with Angelo about where they had each found the groups of thieves they had fought and figured that the last group would be in the one area they hadn't hit yet: the resort's casino. While navigating the building and helping any remaining civilians, they would reach the casino, where, sure enough, the remaining thieves where, trying to take all the money stored in the machines. The thieves spotted the two mages fairly quickly and readied their weapons, but Joshua was no longer in the mood to play fair. Not like the thieves had been playing fair all day.

"I'll take half." He said before stepping forward, which caused a couple of thieves to charge. Joshua's katana glowed slightly before vanishing into thin air, holding out his hand, the air in front of it glowed before a new sword took it's place. The sword was shorter, probably only a little over a foot long, with most of that foot being the blade. The sheathe was coated in ice and a small amount of cold mist surrounded it, though the cold didn't seem to bother Joshua.

The thieves skidded to a halt upon seeing Joshua switch weapons, the sight making them hesitate. That was all Joshua needed and he acted quickly. He drew the sword, using his magical energy to have the blade release a barrage of icicles at his enemies, who were slow to react and taken down in seconds, though none of the blows were fatal. Readying his new weapon, Joshua waited for the others to start moving forward, though Joshua was more curious about how Angelo would take these enemies on.

"Oh... okay. Thank you Master Jack. Sorry for bothering you." Amelia said, once the confrontation seemed to come to an end. Some more mages had come back to the guild and Jarvis seemed to be rather busy so she decided not to bother him. Sasha and Lazarus might want time alone, given what had happened and Joshua was away, so all her friends in the guild were currently occupied. Sighing, she went over to the bar and took a seat, her wings folding up so that they wouldn't bother anyone who might try to sit next to her.

Jack was still waiting by the doorway, more then eager to leave now that everything had calmed down. She was slightly curious as to what her new home would look like.

Elyse was more the happy when the fight stopped and even happier when Rose called her and Prince over for food. She laughed as Prince picked her up and set her in a seat before Rose placed her favorite meal in front of her along with a glass of milk.
"Thank you Mommy." She said before she began eating. She wasn't completely oblivious to the conversation going on around her, and while most of it flew over her head. Luckily she didn't know the word vacation yet so the fact that Jamie was going to be away for a while didn't hit her yet. Prince getting ice cream she understood though." Ice cream?!" She asked the cat-man, giving him an excited look.

Jack Goran|Phoenix Wing Guild Hall

Master Jack smiled at Amelia as she thanked him for the answer. "My dear, it was no bother at all. In fact, I was glad I could try to help." Waving to her as she walks away, he approaches Jarvis's office and knocks on the door before entering, making sure he wouldn't walk in on anything he wasn't supposed to hear. "I'll be taking my leave now, Master Jarvis. Gotta get Jackie back to our guild hall and get her situated. If you need help, don't hesitate to contact me and I'll do what I can." Shaking his hand, Jack leaves and once more approaches Jackie and beckons out the door.

"Shall we?" And with that, he leads the way out into the streets of Magnolia, smiling and waving at the people who recognized him and tried to get his attention. Eventually the pair reached the train station and boarded a train bound for Shirotsume Town and Jack's, the former assassin who was trying to turn a new leaf, new home.

Nero

Her warm smile slowly faded and a weirdend out look apprared on her face as she still tried to smile. The first thing that had come to mind was that he had some weird kind of humour. She nervously laughed and tried convincing him to not do all those thing. If people found out they would probably scare them ouy of Magnolia with pitch forks and torches "Oooor we could do something completely diffrent like." She pondered for a moment and looked around the guild to get some ideas on what to do. The small blondine caught her eyes again. It appeared she was happily enjoying her super. It only just came to mind but she hasn't eaten for atleast a few hours now. Her stomache suddenly growled violently. She emberasly brushed the back of her head while giving abother awkward laugh "Maybe get some food hehe..."

Her eyes traced away from Nero again. Looking at the small girl again and the others near their table. She had all met them but hadn't really got close to them. Even if she joined in on the group there will likely be an akward silence anyway "You don't have any money to get some food I assume." Her eyes went over to Nero again but this time there was no real emotion on her face to be seen. She noticed another person sitting down at the bar while still hearing Nero out but didn't give the other person at the bar much attention whatsoever. A girl with beautiful wings had also took a seat at the bar and didn't seem like she was particularly aware of Nero and her sitting so close by her. She had no clue on to why she was sitting alone and just assumed she wanted some alone time.

Mayt's Mother's House
Mayt's mother sighed, continuing with her cooking. "I apologize for trusting my son. Now if all you're going to do is yell insults and harass me, I ask that you please leave. If you have a question that's worth answering, voice it now or forever hold your peace." Her voice would be filled with dry sarcasm, with a small hint of sadness, and she would guesture towards the door to leave her living space with one hand once she had one to do it with. "Right now, Mayt's probably out of the danger zone anyway."

Mithera
As Hemlock went into a wild rage, Mithera began trying to get as far away as possible as fast as possible. Doing her best to duck and dodge and weave out of the dragon's attacks, she she knew couldn't keep it up forever; a single blow would probably do serious damage, if it didn't kill her. Her luck dictated that just as she was about to be safe, Hemlock's tail would graze her back. Her small body lending this small contact to launch her into the streets below, and she felt the left side of her body crack and crumble as she hit the stone streets. After a quick assessment, she rolled over onto her other side, whimpering loudly in pain and using Melina's mind as a crutch to keep her thinking clearly. Once she had positioned herself on her unbroken side, she began to use her magic to 'reshape' her body, which involved mostly fixing perforated internal organs, then her damaged skeletal system. She was sharing her agony with Melina, who had fallen against a building, and was in a sitting position on the side of an alley.

Damian Gerard

Damian did his best to keep his footing on the rampaging dragon's back, but in the end, it wasn't enough. He tumbled down the dragon's side to the ground, rolling a few feet with several grunts and oofs as he finally came to a stop. Stumbling to his feet, he heard Zero call out his name as he dodged a poison wrapped swing of the tail and made his way over. He watched Karn climb his way back up to the last controlling wizard as he went, dodging a claw instead of the tail this time. Damn, this guy is pissed, and I don't mean just the dragon. What a day... Seeing the Dragon Slayer, Damian sprints towards him, avoiding the poison attacks and hoping he doesn't get blasted at by the surviving control wizard.

Upon reaching the dragon slayer, Damian spins around behind him and grabs him pulling them both out of the way of a breath attack. He knew the Dragon Slayer was of Hemlock's element, but everyone had their limit and he didn't want his new guild mate hitting his just yet. "Before we do anything permanent, is there no way to knock him unconscious, any kind of Achilles's heel?" Damian understood the loss of a parent, better than Zero knew, and he didn't want anyone to have to go through that.

"If Hemlock had something like that... I would know..." Zero said calmly as he got up and brushed himself. "Thanks for getting me out the way. And thank you for trying to make this easier... But I'll be fine." He spoke simply as he stared down the rampaging dragon. Soon Karn was by their side. Or at least... It was his body. The scent, the movements, the look in its eyes. It was all just off. "This won't be the first time Zenoram has lost a parent though. So he'll probably take this very hard." He said clenching his fist. "Now... We need to find a good way to combine our magic. Right? I mean... I'm not strong enough to properly wound the guy by myself after all. And taking down a dragon the right way... One like him, who's had a fair amount of time to grow. You need dragon slayer magic."

Damian Gerard|Mount Hakobe

Damian sighed, unable to fully grasped what the Dragon Slayer meant by Zenoram as he only saw the dragon slayer in front of him, but that was something for another time. For now, he got to come to terms with the fact that he would be ending three lives today. Guess I've got some explaining to do when I get back to the guild. I'm sorry mom, Penny... With a deep breath, Damian begins focusing his magic, a black magic circle forming under him and a much larger blade began to form along the length of his now single Hercules Blade. It was a Final Strike spell, but Zero was right. None of their magic alone would be enough, even Karn's.

"We'll have to do a unison raid, combine all our magics into one. I've already got mine going. Try to match the rhythm of my body and magic with your own." He slowly slid into a rush stance, the blade held to the right side where both Karn and Zero could get at it to form the unison raid. He had no idea how it would work, it was the first time Damian had taken part in one, but it was high time to find out.

Zero took a deep breath. He'd partially forgotten that Damian didn't know about his whole double personality thing. Well, it was Zenoram's thing. He was the second to come after all. Still that wasn't the important part. "I get it. Never done something like this before. So, there's no guarantee it'll go smoothly. Got it S-Class?" He spoke calmly as he closed his eyes. He was listening closely. To Damian, to the Chimera standing beside him. He was slowly matching his breathing, doing his best to match his magical output. That was a bit easier after his little addition to the magic he'd had consumed thanks to Hemlock's breath attack.

"You too Chimera. Gonna need your breath attack." He clapped his hands together and opened his eyes as he finally felt prepared to continue. They narrowed, like those of a dragon as his poison-like magic aura began to bubble to the surface around his body. "Poison Dragon's Arsenal." His voice was quick, his magic fierce as a large purple magic circle formed in front of him. "Projectile Edition." Out of the circle a large arrow like figure began to form, the arrow head holding a spiral like form. "Arrow." He said calmly as it seemed to solidify. "If your sword combines with the arrow, and we propel it with the Chimera's roar we can take Hemlock out."

Damian Gerard

Damian didn't move, but hoped that Zero knew that he knew what he meant. Karn had nodded, leaning forward and adding his golden fire from the roar to the mix. Damian's senses weren't as sharp as the Dragon Slayer's or the Chimera's, but they were still pretty good. Eventually, he could feel their magics beginning to combine into one, the sword blade shimmering and changing colors. Sorry Hemlock. I'm...so sorry... This was the last of a great magical species, presumably the last of it's kind if Damian knew anything about his history, though dragons were never explicitly mentioned, that lack of mention was important.

"Alright, I think it's ready. And if not, well, I don't think he'll give us a second chance. Ready?" With nods from both of his fellow casters, Damian braced himself and then leaped forward as Karn unleashed another roar for Damian to ride. Just in case, Damian threw a blade between himself and it as he raced at the dragon's chest. Not the heard. I won't do that. They deserve good-bye at least. As he grew closer, he swung the blade so he'd enter point first. "Charging Blade of the Poisonous Golden Dragon!" Zero's magic coated the edge of the blade, so it would be the first magic to impact the dragon's scaly hide. If he was lucky, the attack would pierce the hide, allowing both the golden flames in the second layer of the blade's edge to do their job.

And then the moment of truth as Damian went in the left side of Hemlock's chest...and got stuck. But the damage was done. With a mighty roar of pain and surrender, the Might Dragon of Poison, Hemlock, fell to one side, dumping the remaining controller wizard at the same time. The unison raid dispersed and Damian fell to the ground with a puff of dust and a loud "Oomph!" before standing and looking around. "Ummmm...did it work or am I about to get eaten?"

Zero wanted to look way. He wanted to turn his head and just let it happen. But he couldn't. He had to follow this through to the end. Every part of him screamed that. Zenoram was quiet. He hadn't been so quiet in a long time. And then it came. The impact of the three magics. Something felt off. Was this really a unison raid? He couldn't bring himself to really believe that. Still as Hemlock hit the ground along with Damian, Zero charged forward. Despite the magic loss, he was moving faster than one would expect. "Oh no you don't!" He shouted.

In the pseudo smoke screen caused by the impact of Hemlock Haemos was trying to escape. "What the?! Get the fuck off me!" He shouted. "You mother!" His voice came to a quick halt as the snow began to settle once more, Zero's hand planted firmly on the man's mouth.

"I should kill you. Make you suffer. It's all you and your friends deserve." He squeezed his hand, clamping it down, tightening the grip he had on Haemos's face. "I want nothing more than to fill your lungs with poison. To let it engulf you and corrode your flesh. Paralyze your nerves so speaking, let alone screaming is out of the question. I want to make you hurt so bad you'd wish your death had just been quick." He growl as stared into the now fairly defenseless man's eyes. "And the real scary part? Normally I'd have a little voice in my head tell me not to. Telling me to let you go. But he's not saying anything right now." He lifted Haemos, but soon slammed his back into the snow, knocking him out. "But then you's be getting off way too easy." He spoke to nobody now as he turned.

"You made the right choice." Hemlock spoke, much to Zero's surprise. "Don't look so surprised. Your friend aimed properly. He's given us just enough time." The dragon added as he began to climb back up the mountain. "All of you. Follow." The strength normally held in his voice was fading. Still he was moving at a normal pace. Most likely to get something done, before he died. But what? What could be so important.

Zero's and Zenoram's hopes of the dragon living were shot, but they'd made their resolve earlier. They were quiet, following after their foster parent. "Don't worry. He's back..."

Damian Gerard

Damian nodded solemnly and followed the pair, not bothering to look back and see if Karn was following. He knew that the Transformation wizard was, even without looking. And so by their hands, the last dragon in any written history was killed, doomed to die a fairly slow and painful death because of all the wounds that had been inflicted, the worst from the three who were trying to save him.

I can add "Killed the father in front of the son" to my list of sins and regrets...god, I joined a guild to get away from all this... He heaved a heavy sigh and watched Zero. The guy seemed to be taking it fairly well, which lead him to believe that he'd accepted the fate of his father. And in Damian's mind, that was one thing he shouldn't have had to do. For that, he'd make sure the survivors of the battle went right to the Council and saw they got proper punishment for what they did.

Prince smiled a bit at Ariel's words, ears twitching a little more. "Heh you definetly also helped out Karn. By the time he'd get here I'd probably jump him. And the rest of my Guildmates don't usually like giving their magic willingly." he chuckled softly before grinning at Elyse and Rose as they spoke up.

He gently took the hat off of Elyse to place it ontop of his head once more before patting the blonde hair. "Dinner first. Don't want to spoil your appetite otherwise your mommy might get mad at me." he chuckled in amusement before glancing toward the bar.

The feline man had expected the winged girl to come over and question himself, but she didn't seem to. Funny how she was confident enough to ask Jack the guild master. So instead the catman smiled brightly and waved her over.

"Beautiful lonely lady at the bar! Why not come sit with us! I don't bite much I swear!" he joked with a amused grin.

Jarvis

Jarvis listened, as Ayama told him the bare bones of her story. He could fill in the blanks, at least enough to get a good picture. "and is Auroa alive still?" he asked softly, gently, not wishing to give Ayama and distressed, although he could guess given that she was looking for her that the dragon was still alive, but had abandoned the girl.

That was what had happened in the past, he knew with Fairy Tail and Sabertooth's dragon slayers, but Jarvis didn't know if they had ever found them again. And if she is, where would she have gone. You asked Jamie about finding her, I think" Jarvis said, trying tostay on topic.

Penny

"Trusting him? Shoving information in his head and not giving him the option of using it, nor understanding it is not trusting him. And I haven't finished, you old hag!" Penny said, narrowing her eyes at the woman, "Just what can be done to stop Mayt from killing himself accidentally?"

Penny wasn't afraid of this woman, nor did she particularly care that she was being rude. Penny was of the opinion that a parent shouldn't leave their child unless they had no choice, and it seemed to her that this woman had just let Mayt go. She also thought that a parent shouldn't do something like this, when it should have been something learned.

She waited for an answer

Angelo nodded towards him as he followed him to the resort casino and seeing josh say he would take half then he proceeded to use his what Angelo could only assume was equip magic with his sword he took down a few of the other men. Now it was Angelo turn, Angelo took a breath then he used his superior speed and charge at his half dodging their first strike against him. The first one tried to slash downward on Angelo but he dodged to the side and then he gave him a hard punch in the face hearing his nose break and most likely knocking him out.

Then as 3 other men tried to use an attack from all 3 directions Angelo jumped up before they meet each other and Angelo called out "Zeus armor: tempest strike!" Angelo called out and a lightning bolt appeared in his hand and he threw it down making the 3 men shake uncontrollably from the electrocution but Angelo knew how to gauge his attack so it would only stun them but they wouldn't be getting up for a while. Then Angelo turned to Josh giving him a grin before he went and shot out more lightning bolts stunning the rest of his half letting Josh finish up...

Fleo Plector – Her Room

After sealing herself behind a dusty door of her own creation, Fleo burst into a fit of giggles. She fear on the face of a man who professed to be cool and collected tickled her immensely. Nolan, she concluded, was a far more emotional person than he made out to be. As for his justification, she supposed it could have been an accident. In the under-construction zone of the Guild Hall, loose items underfoot indeed provided a hazard. Just as she was settling down, Fleo recalled the Lucas's reaction as well, and the giggling returned with a vengeance. Hopefully she hadn't scared them too badly. It was a toss-up in her mind whether she'd admit that she never would actually crush anyone's nuts, or whether to keep the looming threat up for the sake of continued hilarity.

Only when someone knocked at her door did Fleo's laughter subside, and as she heard Lucas's request on Amaya's behalf, she affirmed her complacence. “I'll keep quiet about it. It's important to have people who can trust not to share secrets.” Even after he'd gone, however, the request puzzled her. What was so dire or so embarrassing about Icy Dragon Slayer magic that her white-haired teammate couldn't bear to have it known?

Before long, Fleo had settled into sleep once more—dreamless this time, and peaceful.

Nero – Guild Hall

For a moment Ayame's refusal dulled Nero's fire, but it flared up again, as unflappably high-spirited, as always. Part of the reason for his mirth's swift resurgence came from the expression on his young companion's face, for he had never seen quite like it before, and found it hilarious. As if on cue, Ayame's stomach signaled an urgent need to fill it and Nero decided to humor her.

[color=D8BFD8]“Hm, money? Let me sift through these coins real quick...” A quick count of the coins deposited before him by Penny proved them enough to pay for both the snack he'd already gotten and another couple of small dishes. Nero practically glowed to see his good fortune; perhaps Penny really was out to do good, after all! “Looks like I've enough to get us something small. Shall we stay in among all these... lovely Phoenix Gooners, or head out into Magnolia for some dinner in peace and quiet? Horned One knows I'm not sleeping here, at least, so might be best to leave it now.” He cast a glance at Ayame. Time to see if she still wanted to support herself. “Though I expect you'll want to take advantage of their charity...?”

Joshua didn't even bother actually trying to fight the last three thieves in front of him. He simply pointed his blade at them as they charged him, magical energy gathering around it, kicking up wind and lowering the temperature around the everice blade even more. Once it reached the level he needed it to be at, Joshua released the energy, causing a blast of ice and cold in the direction of the thieves, freezing them in place instantly. Sheathing the blade, he placed it back into storage before bringing his regular sword out again. Turning back to Angelo, he saw the other mage was finished with his half already and simply nodded before heading out of the room.

Once outside, after making sure that the everyone was outside, hostages and thieves both, with the thieves being retrained, Joshua watched as the local law enforcement took care of the thieves, the hostages were given medical attention, and the fire to the resort was put out. He watched the flames with a passive look on his face.
"A couple minutes earlier, and there wouldn't have been a fire. I gotta wonder if we'll still get a reward since we were a little late." He said

Amelia meanwhile, was simply twiddling her thumbs when Prince shouted over to her. It wasn't hard to guess it was her he was shouting to. There were only three people at the bar, including herself, and the other two people were with each other. She gave it a moments thought, debating whether or not to go over to the table Prince was at or not. Deciding it was best to do so, as the one man at the bar did give her the creeps, she got up and walked over to the table Prince, Elyse, and Ariel were at, wrapping her wings around herself, in what one could see as a protective manner. She didn't look up at anyone and instead stared at her lap, her expression betraying her nervousness.

Most of the items were weapons out of pure habit but she occasional tried other things, like a rose or a childs toy, but the shapes seemed less solid and stable as the weapons.

He glared and grinned with an almost evil, yet not so evil look. "Seeing those Phoenix wing members, how they acted for each other." He paused, before announcing. "I want some of that for myself." He lowered his tone, speaking calmly. "Lazarus will get his just punishment, with or without me." He released his own fist, and made long eye contact with the guild master. "So what say you?.."

Jack Goran|Train to Shirotsume Town

Jack hmed thoughtfully to himself and he thought of the best answer to give his new member. If she was asking what the town itself was like, he had to wonder what these "Riders" did in their spare time. "Well, the town is considered the home of the wealthiest, most powerful people in Fiore next to the King and Queen. Fiore's largest mall is also located there along with the Shirotsume Gallery." He chuckles a bit at the mention of the gallery and looks at Jackie, a cheerful glint in his eye. "We get lots of job requests from the Gallery for guards and investigators. So much expensive and amazing art in one place makes a great magnet for troublesome thieves."

Before he could continue on to describe the guild, the young man from before who'd tried to arrest one of Phoenix Wing's members came in and addressed him directly. Jack narrowed his eyes at the young man and held up a finger, indicating to give him just one moment. Returning his gaze to Jackie, he smiles. "The guild is the best. We all think of each other as family and when we gain a new member, we accept them for who they are, no questions asked. We have each other's backs at all times and share our experiences, whether good or bad." He then returns his attention to Shujin, and shakes his head.

"You get one chance to convince me this isn't some ploy to try and get close to that Lazarus fellow and that you genuinely want a second chance."

She gave a guilty look at him but still couldn't approve with him that it was a good thing to prank others. She quickly dropped the act to not upset him even more and tried to be as cheerful as her personality would allow giving a bright smile at him for no real reason. Nero sifted trough the coins on the table and there seemed to be some left from his food just now. She stared at the coins and had realised they were not his but forgotten coins by Penny. Penny had paid Nero his bill so the left over money was technically from Penny. The idea Nero brought up was even more splendid. Her expresions was like that of a child opening a present on christmas.

"Can we really go have dinner in town!? But you only eat in town on special occasions right? Like a date or with the family on Christmas." She went quiet, thinking about what she said and looked around her a bit to see if Penny would see that they got the money. She folded her hands behind her back and looked at her feet "It feels so much like stealing though." She averted her head even more and gave a downright sad expression. Her feet slowly slided over the floor as she slowly kicked swinged with one of her feet not really knowing what to do. On one hand she really wanted to go eat in town but on the other hand she might get scolded at by Penny and never enter the guild again "I don't feel so hungry anymore now" another growl escaped her stomach making her blush once again "That wasn't me"

Jarvis

@Amaya Tamashii

Jarvis listened once more as Amaya talked, filing it all away, as well as trying to figure it all out. Jarvis sat silently, pondering what to say He sighed softly, before saying "Dragon Slayers of old, those from Fairy Tail stated that their dragons all left, on the same day, and they never found them again, not for want of trying. Those from SaberTooth slayed their dragons, due to long illness. I do not think it odd that your mother left, telling y ou to come here."

He paused here, trying to figure out what to say next, and just how to say it. He didn't 'wish to worry the young girl, nor did he want to give her false hope. "Dragons have always been odd beings. Dragon Slaying magic has also been an odd form of magic, as has all forms of slayer magic. There will be a reason that your mother left, most likely to protect you. Close contact with Dragons, and their magic, affect humans, as they are affected as well. In anycase, we can look for her, but you cannot hide your dragon slaying magic forever. No one in this guild will consider anything less then cool magic."

Shujin

He brought his hands together. "Whatttt? me? I would never." He said sarcastically, but glaring the master in the eyes. "I'm sick of being the royal family's whipping boy. I've jailed countless, by order, and not thinking for myself. It's time to put my life in my own hands, which requires me to make my own decisions." He grinned. "And ive decided... I want to join a guild." Pulled his hands apart. "I promise... I wont do anything to bring Lazarus-ni's life to an end. Anything that happens to him will be from the queen directly herself." He formed a metallic heart in his hands. "Cross my heart and hope to die." He dispelled the heart. "So will you give me the opportunity to taste what it feels like to be a guild wizard?" His eyes widened.

Mayt's Mother's House
Mayt's Mother sighed. This Wizard business was going to give her more grey hairs than age was. "Well the easiest way would be not using his magic. After that, pay attention to the memories of what happened every time his abilities went wrong. Now get out of my house." She rested her wrists on her counter, leaning over some, and sighing. She muttered quietly to herself as she went over to the door. "Seems so backwards. That Dark Guild girl was all nice and sweet, and then I have a member of a light guild here berating me for circumstances I couldn't of possibly accounted for." She opened the door and motioned for Penny to leave, looking none-too-happy. "While I appreciate your concern for my son, I don't appreciate you accosting me and treating me like I knew how everything was going to turn out. If I did, I wouldn't have been in jail for ten years for a crime I had no association with."

Time Lord's hole in the ground

"Of course they are. There's lots of new magic, that not many people understand" Time Lord said, "As for my true name...well. That's something I do not give up to others. Time Lord...is just something I use." He drank his tea, glancing about the room, as trintiy seemed intent on stacking everything.. He sighed it had taken hours to sort it all out, and it would take hours to do so again.

"So that's the best you've got, huh? You couldn't go, by, say... Chronus or something? Or Chrono? That's a good one." Trinity looks up from her sorting. She'd hardly started, honestly, though Timester didn't seem like he appreciated it. Well... yeah, he probably wasn't used to entertaining in here, but all the same, she wasn't about to start treading over the books. She'd at least clear some paths, even if she doesn't sort the whole room. The whole room would be quite a project, and... well, she'd want pay for that much. And it wasn’t her room, either. She leaves the books in stacks near where she found them, though her algorithm for sorting them... She could take the time to sort them alphabetically, or she could just be lazy and stack them by distance from the stack. The latter. More like just putting them on in the order she picks them up, but… eh.

"You're distrustful, and with good reason. I'm not a good person. I have killed, and I will again. My order is a small one, and it cannot be destroyed." He put down the tea, and gave a chuckle. "I'm probably a lot younger than you think I am. Probably younger than you, too" he said with amusement.

"To guess your age would be an exercise in futility." She shakes her head, standing up from stooping over to sort a pathway of books out. "I have no idea how old you might be. You couldn't be that much younger than I am, though... could you?" She studies him again for a moment, and again, his apparent age baffles her. Younger than she is, he says...? And he seemed confident about it. "Uh... 16?"

Timelord chuckled, and said “You wouldn’t believe me if I said younger. So lets just leave it at that.” He said, and gave a sigh, filling another couple with hot water and tea, handing it over to a pair of waiting hands.

Younger?! Jeez… who the hell was this guy? Trinity found it difficult to believe he could actually be younger. Of course, maybe he was just being tricky with his definition of age. Body hopping came to mind, and in this kinda situation, she might actually expect to run into that sort of thing.

He glanced around the room. He supposed it would be an asset to be able to use archive magic, but that wasn't something he could do. He shifted, shaking his head. "As for what I suspected is coming....the signs are everywhere. I thought Phoenix Wing might be a good choice for this, but so far, I have been disappointed"

"So you've been scouting us?" The young lady blows gently on her hot tea, encouraging it to cool.

“I’ve been scouting many guilds. Phoenix Wing seemed most promising.”

“Well, at least your not a threat.”

He chuckled once more. “I’m not a threat. How amusing. Tsk Tsk, whatever you need to think, or believe.”

“Perhaps… threat was the wrong word.” The young lady sips gingerly from her tea and tastes it very carefully. Vivian taught her many things, tea included. Such was the high-class life that woman enjoys. Time Lord didn’t have time to slip anything in without her noticing… or did he? It didn’t taste like it, at least, friggin’ time mages.

“What do you know of history, of how magic was considered...well, evil?” He asked suddenly, leaning back against the counter, watching Trintiy, expecting an answer obviously. “there are other guilds out there I suppose that I could watch. Dragon Fang seems promising as well, as does Frenzy Plant. And then there’s these dark guilds...children really, unorganised and unable to do much but be bothersome it seems…” He was thinking out loud now, and seemed to have forgotten he asked a question.

Then he looked to Trinity once more, falling silent and waiting for the answer.

“I know Fiore, for the longest time, has enjoyed leadership that encourages mages and guilds. However, many people view it as more of a danger than a boon. They’re not wrong, either. It is a very dangerous thing, magic. It is why guilds and the Council exist, to regulate magic. To prevent wizards from doing as they please or raging out of control. A long time ago, an evil wizard made demons and wove darkness. Some sources say an entire country was obliterated. If I had to guess, that would have been the lake between Joya and Bellum. I haven’t seen the region, myself, though. Is that what you meant?” She sips again from her tea, though she has to wonder if that was what the man meant.

“Tsk tsk. It would seem you don’t have a grasp on what actually happened 97 years ago. How saddening. I would have thought, considering there’s two dragon slayers in your guild, that maybe...well. No matter. Fairy Tail, along with members from SaberTooth, assisted in bringing down Zeref, perhaps the darkest dark mage in existence. I still dispute that, but the facts are there. “ He gave a heavy sigh, and shook his head, going over to a wall, which seemed dedicated to images of dragons, and battle.

“Unfortunately, my magic history lessons ended years early. Wait, did you say dragon slayers?” There were Dragon Slayers in Phoenix Wing? Trinity had seen Penny use some kind of fire magic, but she didn’t think she was a dragon slayer. He didn’t seem to pay any mind to her question, however. Not that she really wanted him to.

He didn’t need to answer that directly. “A curse of slayer type mages is that over time, they transform into the very thing they are meant to slay. Fairy tail and Sabertooth probably never expected it to happen, to their dragon slayers, or at least not in the battle Happen it did, and suddenly, there wasn’t just one dragon, Zeref’s, but eight. Seven from Fairy tail and Sabertooh, you should know their names, and one other, the poison dragon slayer. They had come together before, to do battle with dragons during the grand magic games of that time, but...but...this was different. Perhaps it was Zeref’s magic. No one knows, and anyone who was alive then cannot tell us, given that they are all dead. Such a shame.” He ran a hand over some papers, some drawings. Clumsy drawn, and yet they caught the aspect of the dragons so well. A red dragon, a yellow, a white….and more, of course.

“Such a shame, such a shame. We cannot know what truly happened, and yet, we can speculate. In anycase, one thing we do know is that Zeref’s magic was nullified. Perhaps gone forever, but now, I wonder. Did it just undergo a statis, and has it come back, changed? No one seems to know, but...recent events lead me to believe that there are eight dragon’s, slumbering these past 97 years. Perhaps they succeeded in taking down Zeref’s dragon, who knows? I suspect we will find out soon”

He looked back to Trinity, his expression dark.

Well, she had a number of things to research on her return. Good thing they have a nice library back at the Guild. But, more importantly, “you’re saying that the return of dragon slayers could herald the return of Zeref’s magic? Or Zeref himself?” The reason he was so concerned about Zeref is because such a powerful being is a threat, even to his organization. Whatever organization that is.

The timelord gave a shrug, and seemed to ponder his words, as he said "I have theories. I believe that the dragon slayers of old supresses Zeref's Magic, and their powers are fading. Or their statis is at an end, breaking the magic they used to subdue Zeref and his dragon. Theories, nothing more, but perhaps they are proven, now. I do not know. As to whether it means the return of Zefer...I do not know. But I think we can all agree that seven beings, whether they are now dragons, or indeed their human forms, returning to the world might not be a good thing. They were all powerful as dragon slayers, and as dragons...I shudder to think what may happen" he gave a sigh, turning back to Trinity, watching her.

“Aah, I misunderstood.” Trinity sips her tea quietly as she listens. This guy had a perspective on things that could be a little hard to wrap one’s head around, but she was starting to get it. “Yes, the return of seven such beings would be… tumultuous.”

She considers the flow of the conversation and the actions this man was taking. He was looking for someone to fight a potential enemy. “You’re looking for someone to do your dirty work for you.” They may end up doing it, anyway, too.

"My dirty work? No, I'm merely searching to make sure there are those that are powerful enough to defend the world. It's not my task, but I’d rather not see the world destroyed before all my goals are reached" he said, musingly "im sure you can understand that. In anycase, I have warned you at the least"

“Call it whatever you want.” Trinity punctuates her sentence with another sip of tea. “You’re looking for someone to fight a potential foe you’d rather not take on yourself.” Zeref’s Dragon would definitely be an enemy, but other dragons? Maybe, maybe not. “I can see why you might be a little worried, though. A lot of drama’s been flying around, lately.” I hope it’s only lately…

“You see me as weak and cowardly, but really, I just know my limitations. I’ve told you that my order is a small one, indeed, it only has four members, and the other three are too old to be any good in a battle, and my magic...does not really mean much against such powerful beings.” The time lord said, his voice neutral, but his expression was somewhat angry. He was trying not to let it show.

“Not cowardly. Strategic. Intelligent.” And that makes him dangerous. “Cowardice is something that holds one back from action. You are no coward."

The strange wizard leafed almost idly through a book while the girl spoke. Enough about him, in any case. “It’s not the dragons I’m worried about, but the magic they will bring. Already, you may have noticed some old, lost magics returning, and new, created magic. Who knows what it will lead to?” He shook his head, putting the book down.

Aah, so that was it. "There’s no way to know what will come.” New and returning magic could indeed be dangerous. Dangerous things lay in the past, and who knows what new magic would be woven. The possibilities were nigh limitless, but... that was also dangerous, and such unpredictability could throw a wrench into so many other plans.

Trinity finishes her tea, and sets the cup down gingerly on the table. She moves a book or two so she doesn’t end up leaving a ring in one of them. “Thank you very much for the tea, Time Lord. I do think I should be going, however. Before I go… could I bother you for the name of your organization? If it even has one.”

That wasn’t the only thing Time Lord was concerned about, but he wouldn’t mention that right now. or at all. The Time Lord had his own plans, and goals, and all he wished were for them to be fulfilled. If he could make Trinity, and subsequently the guild think that he only had good intentions at heart, then that would go a long way to completing his goals.

“Go home quickly, little Archer, I myself now have to go out and get more tea” He gave a sigh, and then a chuckle, “My organisation goes by several names, but one we can agree on is the Lords of letters, as our names all have Lord in them and we research” He said with amusement, indicating that that wasn’t the true name, and nor would he give that out. “Run along now."

"Lords of Letters, huh?" She doubted that was the real name. It didn't fit, somehow. She bows courteously, wearing a solemn expression. "Thank you for your hospitality. I wish you a good evening." With that, the minstrel turned and followed the little pathway she'd cleared earlier, out of the underground home.

Once above ground and a fair distance away, she checks behind herself to make sure she isn't being followed. The man she spoke with was very careful not to reveal any of his personal or professional goals, beyond dealing with a common, potential threat. He'd revealed that he considers his organization to be a threat to them. She should speak to Jarvis...

Barring anything interrupting her on her way back to the guild, she would walk in through the doors and call, "Jarvis, are you about?"
