Prince

The feline man glanced toward Penny as she mentioned the Edolas version and he simply gave a amused grin. "Oh? Surprising. If that's the case, it's quite a shock she's survived so long. If she's as old as Karn. With no magic, it's almost a Miracle for the span of life she had. Suppose Master Rian's hunch was correct." Prince mused, his eye glancing toward the arena in thought, sparkling with hidden knowledge on the subject before glancing to Trinity as she questioned him.

Humming thoughtfully, he glanced to Karn. "The sickness he has is quite the rare one. Some say it's rumored to be passed down from black magic but I doubt it. It's a illness, that slowly devours you from the inside out. The longer your alive, the more you realize every part of your body starts to hurt and twist, your lungs collapsing and drowning you in blood. There are fevers, coughs, difficult breathing... It goes on until it kills you, or you do it yourself.. Then it effects your mind. You become delusional, start to see things, hear things until it drives you completely insane. Karn hadn't there yet when he died. I'm sure the Edo version did. Im surprised she didn't go ballistic on you." he mused as he explained.

"Karn naturally had magic, so it helped. But when Ru found him, Karn had starved to death." Prince said before thinking.

"Do you know what two things magic should never touch? Life and Death. It's why people don't like Necromancer's because eventually... It's going to bite back. Rian broke the rule by extending his life. Lady of Fate of course, takes everything at a price. Karn's life, is Rian's life. Once Rian finally runs out of magic, and dies. Karn dies too. But his sickness continues, and he continues his slow suffering. But he doesn't want it. He was not like Edolas who kept going all on their own will. He doesn't want to live. He's happy Rian gave him a chance, but he's tired. But Rian won't give up until she defies Lady Fate and finds a solution." he explained.

Dornae Namari - The Luckless Enchanter
Theme I/|\Theme II/|\Theme III

Frowning ever so slightly at Valak's response, the enchanter sighed and took another bite out of his apple. Then, only a minute or so later, Ferrin entered the room once more, thus drawing his gaze while he set some candles down, then sat down himself.

He almost opened his mouth to question the man, but he managed to speak first, so he quieted down and waited. What he heard did not please him in the least. Mithera's bit didn't help much, but it was better than what Ferrin had said. He chuckled a bit to himself, this was just his luck wasn't it? He'd gone this long without getting in any real trouble...and now this.

As Ferrin responded to the girl, who had revealed she was not the incredible creature he had thought her, Dornae frowned. Why would the man speak for his funds when they'd literally just met not twenty minutes prior. It's not as if they had been through hell and high water. They'd just fought off a guild after all no big deal, he thought to himself sarcastically.

"Actually, I've coin to spare. I'd be willing to get you some clothes...Mithera," he had paused a moment to recall her name. It still hadn't quite stuck yet. "The only problem is, well, I don't know your measurements, or at least your height if it's going to be a dress," he said, sounding the slightest bit uncomfortable, a hand rubbing the back of his neck. It was clear that he needed them, but also that he didn't want to know for any personal reason. "Mind you, it won't be for free. You'll owe me the money. After all, I'm already in enough trouble having helped them free you," he stated in an earnest tone as he glanced between the three of them.

He felt that the situation could have been handled much better, but he wasn't about to press the issue now. It'd be a waste of energy. After all, one couldn't change the past, so often there was little reason to ponder what one might have done if given a different choice. At least, that he was his opinion on the matter. An opinion made from regretting his decisions a good many times and having learned that lamenting one's mistakes was pointless. It was better to live, let live, and learn from your mistakes, than to dwell on them.

That was just the truth.

Damian Gerard|Pub outside the arena

Damian shook his head and leaned back in his seat. "Fine, go, but this was all you, I'm not involved. This whole thing is your idea." His patience was running thin and for the time being he just wanted to be left alone to consider how they might win in the next day of the Games.

Jack Goran|Dragon Fang Seating

Jack smiled softly and released the hug, watching the arena and waiting for the next fight. "Jackie, I've been meaning to ask you something since you first told me about your past."

Eve - Cronus Antique Shop

Eve had her eyes closed during the operation, she knew that Nero would do nothing to hurt to hurt her, but seeing something slipping under your skin was always such a strange thing to watch nonchalantly. She shivered as his hand entered her throat, a few seconds passed, and it seemed that the operation was over. The Necromancer still had her eyes closed, but they slowly opened, and she realized that the trinket had disappeared from Nero's hand. Guess the operation was successful.

It didn't take too long before Nero acted all smug once again, Eve was tempted to buy his some suspenders, it would fit well with his cocky attitude. The Necromancer smiled both at her joke and the goofy attitude that Nero seemed to have captured once again. It felt nice having this Nero back, rather than the unpleasant version of himself, was that how she looked when she got into her unstable state? Scary. The Necromancer's attention was soon brought back into the world of the living, and she looked at Nero with anticipation, it was time to speak once again! And for the short time she had lost her voice, it was outstandingly frustrating to not have one! So, the Necromancer quickly leaned forward and kissed the Genie on the cheek.

"A token of thanks, for my knight in shining armour." Eve lightly giggled while saying that line, but the sentence was genuine.

Marlene Evangeline

As Sasha and Lazarus were talking to each other, Marlene continued to watch the games, but still vaguely thought about Nolan and Dalton. She hopes to be good friends with the two, after all, it seems that the Exceed likes him already. But her thoughts were interrupted once Sasha asked her if she wanted to eat. At that moment, her stomach began to growl. She was indeed hungry and she hadn't really eaten anything all day so far.

"Yeah sure." she replies, "I'm a bit hungry myself as a matter of fact."

Trinity Stratos

The other Karn died of this illness. Ill tidings if she'd ever heard them. As she listened to Prince describe the illness, she started to think of ways she could cure it, but not before scolding herself for keeping quiet for so long. They could have done something about this a long time ago. She should have been more aggressive about this. Even so, there was nothing to be done about that now. Prince had mentioned black magic, though he had also dismissed the notion. Trinity wasn't about to drop a possible lead, but she had to remember that they did not have time on their side.

"Starved...?" Trinity grimaced. What a way to go. And then she hears he's just tired of living? What, had he let himself starve? Maybe she should make him stay at the Guild for a night.

So they were up against Lady Fate? "Let's focus on one thing at a time." This illness," she thought quietly for a moment before posing a question or two to Prince, "has Karn had it all along? Or did he get it somewhere?"

Fleo Plector – Phoenix Wing Stands

@hatakekuro@Zarkun

In reply to Nolan's assertion, Fleo shrugged. A lot of people thought they had it all figured out, whether it was denying God's existence or insisting on lesser, more numerous deities. The dusty woman couldn't really say she blamed them, for understanding of God's workings lay beyond the reach of anyone. Belief and love, they were the key concepts, but those who'd faced terrible fate so often found belief and love to be ephemeral and unattainable things. These thoughts remained inside, and Fleo turned a smiling and inquisitive face to the world. In actuality, she'd be very interested indeed in learning more about the beings that Nolan called gods.

Fleo looked over her shoulder to watch her team leader run off, followed in a moment by Dalton. Just like that, she was alone in a crowd of people, with only James to keep her company. Among all the wizards she'd become acquainted with during her time at Phoenix Wing, James was among the least well known to her. He revealed little in terms of defining characteristics, and any important events involving the guild seemed to pass him right by. The final duel of the day had yet to begin -what was the holdup?- so Fleo scooted a little closer to James and asked, ”So, tell me a little about yourself. I haven't really gotten to know you, James.” The next instant Jessie's announcement rang out, but it left Fleo less satisfied than she'd been previously. A games master didn't have responsibilities, did he? His job was to keep the show rolling, not pop off and leave thousands of people twiddling their thumbs. ”Well that sucks, Sheldon's left us all to stink it up.”

Indigo Afina – Painting Booth

@liferusher

Where there had been a graceful and courteous librarian, there now stood a steely sorceress, terrifying in her blank serenity and ominous, uncertain intent. Indigo watched curiously as Isla edged away and erected a barrier of paint to defend herself. Rather than reply to the girl, Indigo looked upon the makeshift shield with amusement instead. A brief, azure glow surrounded her hand, magically replacing The Order with the book Subnautica. ”I could order you to stop breathing if you didn't comply further,” she said impassively, as if she were dicussing the morning news, ”But I'll take it easy on a young lady such as yourself. Still, it is worth establishing just who is in charge here. Do you know, paint is mostly water?” Indigo flicked her index and middle finger to the right, exerting her own magic over Isla's paint barrier. Hers proved stronger, of course, and the paint sailed away to splatter on the sidewalk, leaving Isla exposed.

”You are outmatched, and I'm afraid I haven't much patience. Usually I'd be more tactful, but I'm still a little fired up from fighting in the arena. Let me ask you a new question. I know I saw Ike in that picture in your little Hall of Fame. Will you incur my wrath by not freeing him?” Of course, she did not have definitive evidence that Ike had been trapped in a painting. Isla did, however, obviously have some brand of paint magic, and a man as prominent as Ike did not simply vanish without a trace. Those clues and Indigo's wit proved enough to assemble a likely hypothesis.

The journey between the Frenzy Camp and the Doma Flau was a decently long but very scenic one. Even just an hour after the end of the Crocus maze event for the Grand Magic Games, everyday life resurged as if nothing had ever happened, save for the occasional burn mark, crater, or scratch in the buildings and streets. Despite all of the various sights to see on the way to the arena, Cecilia did not lose sight of Argus, and noticed with no small amount of comradely concern his mounting anxiety. No reassurances issued from her, though, for in Frenzy Plant no insecurities were sheltered. Part of becoming a soldier involved breaking through one's own mental handicaps, just as important as surpassing the physical ones. By finding and giving Argus the company of other inhuman beings, Cecili did not mean to provide him with a support group, but with a starting point to fully integrate into the life of a Frenzy Plant soldier.

Weirdly, Cecilia and Argus were inside the Doma Flau before the sounds of the crowd could be heard. What previously rocked the city with shouts, cheers, and chants now barely constituted a dull roar; most likely, nothing was going on right now to receive the spectators' attention. As unexpected as such a lull might be, it was good news for Cecilia and Argus. She wasted no time guiding the crimson demon to the Frenzy Plant stands, which were neither densely populated nor packed up against other groups like much of the other attendees were. Perfect.

By lucky coincidence, Ni Rensa and Arivaderci were in the same spot. Looking at the two side by side turned out to be an interesting experience itself. Aside from their femininity, nothing else compared between the two. One sported the traits of a mammal, a predatory cat, and the other the trunk of a snake. One had blue hair in braids, hatless, and the other hid long brown hair beneath a hood. One's skin was pale, and the other's a mocha hue. Arivaderci, as might be expected from her quiet and shy personality, seemed to want to cover herself as much as possible with a snowy-hued cloak, while Ni Rensa -who embraced her inhuman traits, having been born with them- proudly displayed herself to the world. And yet, these two vastly different girls were fast friends. All that Cecilia needed was to find Enma.

It wasn't difficult to spot the oni. Cecilia made her way over to him, waving as she approached. ”Hi! We've got a new guildmate, Argus here. Thought you guys might kick it off, Ari and Ni too. Have a chat, get to know him. In Frenzy Plant,” she explained, trying to keep Argus's attention on her and not the crowd, “No man is an island.”

Nero the Genie – Antiques Shop

@Invisible Man@liferusher

Without much hesitation at all, Nero launched into a short happy dance, smiling widely and laughing, not so much as with amusement, but in disbelief. He never could have imagined the day when a girl would kiss him willingly! Whatever Nero did to deserve love, he had no clue, but the thought that a monster like him had managed to find it filled the genie with genuine happiness. Take that, world! Take that Phlegethon, and Principle Shears, and Mayor Ferrel, and the Beast Twins, and Melanie, and General Sanders, and Zander, and Indigo, and Jamie, and Joshua, and Damian, and Time Lord! I'm the luckiest son-of-a in the world!

His brief burst of enthusiasm evaporated quickly, but behind it left a thoroughly pleased young man. ”Aw, thanks,” he beamed, ”It's hard to tell what's sweeter, you or your voice. Looks like our adventure in this dusty shop is just about donezo, whaddya say we find Aya and get goin'? Ya can pick wherever ya want to go.”

A moment later, he and Eve were on the street. It didn't take long to spot Ayame, who looked astonishingly confused and overwhelmed. The dark mages hurried over, and Nero stretched out an arm to put over her shoulder. ”Hey hey, don't go nuts, your best buds are right here for ya.” He thought, man, can't leave this kid for a second, huh.

"Well, first thing first. I promiced my little girl candy, so I better keep my promise and get her some candy." Lucus said, causing Elyse to cheer. After they finally got her a large bag of gummy bears. After they were done and out of the store, Lucus turned back to Rose."While I'm happy to lead the way, what are you in the mood for? Surely there is something you're craving right now."

@Amaya Yashia

"I get the feeling that I aint the one fighting today, so I think we'll stay here for now." Joshua said before thinking about what Amaya had said before."Well, if you feel like you should show off your magic, then maybe you should ask Jamie to let you participate in one of the events, be it a fight or an actual event. Win or lose, you should do well regardless."

Jack, the Maiden of the Mist

@Zarkun

"What do you wish to know?" Jack asked, curious. She had been completely honest about her past, so what Master Jack might want to know eluded her. Maybe some small detail she hadn't brought up? If so, it was probably unimportant in the overall scheme of things.

James Hunt|Phoenix Wing Seating

James glanced up at Fleo before resummoning the magic circle he'd been studying. "There's not much to tell. I spent most of my early life training to become a Royal Knight of Fiore. It was during this training I discovered my Paladin magic when I went to protect a fellow student who was being tormented by a...less savory trainee. After that, my parents withdrew me from training and we moved far from civilization so I could learn more without fear of the mobs. Eventually I felt confident enough to go back out into the world and see what there was to see."

Jack Goran|Dragon Fang Seating

Jack thought carefully on how to approach the issue before deciding on an approach. "Did leaving the man who called himself your father ever occur to you during your training? Didn't you ever want to leave during any part of it?"

Jamie thought it just as well that Damian wasn't going to join him. There were some things Jamie just wasn't ready to share with the rest of the guild, outside of Jarvis. With a sad smile, Jamie looked back and said "some say being young is the hardest thing in the world. Being told you're wrong, or misguided, or being put out when you just want to protect those you care about, is worse, but that typically happens in youth. But they are wrong. Watching your children grow further then you ever thought they would, becoming people you only hoped they'd be, is the hardest thing in the world, because it means they don't need you anymore. I can still, maybe one last time, give you a lesson. Sometimes, you have to do things when your comrades want you to do what they want. I know you're capable, but this is about showing I won't stand for my members to be kidnapped. If I let you go, it's saying I can't fight anymore. So, yes, it's ego. But it's more about keeping the guild safe"

Jamie looked forward again, and leaving it at that, she headed out the doors, towards iron enigmas hotel. She stopped, studying the hotel, feeing lingering magics, and have a heavy sigh, looking about. Something had happened, and with shock, Jamie saw the rescue group walking off. Standing there, Jamie frowned. what the hell happened here?

Penny

PEnny remembered the story Karn had told her, of how his mother had drowned, of how Karn himself had nearly drowned, and that was why he feared water. Unsettled, Penny appeared restless, running her hands through her hair, and shifting uncomfortably, wondering. If Rian had found Karn before then...then did Karn die in the water? But no, Penny was sure if Karn had starved himself, his mother would have made sure he ate.

Was he sick then? Or was it something he had picked up, something that had just developed? A lot of illnesses passed down over blood lines tended to manifest before a child was 10, but could be longer.

Penny didn't know what to do, or what to say. How did Master Jamie do this? Feeling sad, Penny realised that Karn was suffering, day in and day out as the...bond? between him and Rian kept him alive. Was he dying every day, too? How could anyone survive that, over and over again.

With a sickening jolt, she realised that was the fate she might have, if she let her Phoenix Slayer magic take her over, until the final death. That wasn't what she wanted to focus on, and instead, she looked to Karn. Were they being selfish, trying to prolong his life? Penny didn't know. But she knew one thing, you didn't give up on friends.

She remembered the magic council, the eager Karn just wanting to help, shifting into a bird to do all he could, and she knew she wouldn't give up. Karn might be tired of it all, but...she wanted him to have even a few moments of peace, before the end. So she would continue to try and find a way.

How could anyone be so full of life, and yet be...dying? She swallowed, and said softly "Whatever it takes"

@CirusArvennicus@Silver Fox

Sasha

Sasha smiled at Marlene and said "I saw this nice looking place on the way here, if you want to go there." She said, content for now to let things be, pushhing aside her worry and thoughts, she vowed to just have a happy afternoon. She grabbed her satchel, and waited to see if Marlene would be happy to go there.

Iron Enigma
As Master Jamie finally got to the hotel, the Guild Master would be immediately pushed out of the way by Gregory, looking furious. He'd burst through the front door of the Hotel, leaving it open, before immediately starting to go to his members and helping them up. The one that had been killed in the fight had a blanket placed over him, and four of his other members were sent off to the hospital with some of the members who hadn't gotten hurt as much. They seemed like they were organized, as if they had done this before. Before the first group of hospitalized people had left, Grant had arrived as well, and he also pushed passed Jamie, heading down the back to the basement and helping Laynette up to the ground floor.

"Grant, go hunt down whomever did this. Don't do anything to them, just find out who they are, where they are, and why the hell they think they can get away with attacking us." Grant nodded, and Delilah, who had picked up a chair and was not sitting in it, pointed to where she had seen them run off towards, and Grant nodded, heading off down that direction. Though, the group had gotten around the corner before he got out the door, so they were safely gone. He cursed quietly, and started jogging through people towards the direction the culprits had supposedly gone, though he knew he wouldn't be able to find them that easily. He hadn't been allowed to get any of Mithera's blood
in fear that Phoenix Wing would be furious and come down on them with their entire guild.

@Caits

Mithera -- Hotel Room
Mithera looked over as Dornae began to speak, and she nodded. "I can do my best to pay you back as soon as possible, of course! I already owe you for saving my cute little rear, so I'll definitely see about getting you payed back for whatever you get me. As for measurements I... I don't actually know my exact measurements either, so I guess it'd be a good idea to find the longest gown or something you can find and I can cut it or something to make it fit." She tilted her head to the side a little, watching Dornae for his response, and she'd glance over at Valak and Ferrin too, if they had any input.

Prince

Prince watched the two women's reactions, seeing a bit of sadness before he glanced to Trinity as she continued her questions. In which case he hummed as he looked to the sleeping Karn. "He was born with it. It isn't a illness that one can catch, or forced upon. It's just like if one is born blind or deaf. It's just a unfortunate defect one lives with. Wizards, are more likely to get it though. The here is a theory on this. Magic is the conncection of a wizard's physical spirit with the flow of the flow of spiritual nature. Upon birth, that connection is still connected, yet severed. Causing disorder within the body. Karn is quite gifted with powerful magic, but his own magic is also killing him faster because how powerful it is. The natural spirt flow he is connected to, is more powerful than his physical spirit. And it's devouring him slowly." Prince said before closing his eye thoughtfully. His hat tipping a little in front of him and his ears slightly lowering but he still had a smile on his face.

"There is no cure. Many have tried, Rian has searched and searched. A
Karn has given up long ago. His final wish, was to make friends and have a family. Even if it's just pretend and just for a little while. His spirit, is not strong enough to handle it and he's accepted that. Just makes it worse Mhm? If he had a strong will, a strong spirit, then maybe he could of lived heathily."
Prince chuckled before glancing to the sky before looking to Penny as she managed to speak up, and he only grinned.

"Good then. Listen closely now. Rian, has a nice little plan to defy fate. Of course, perhaps in the process, causing misery to someone who's going too be dragged into this. But.. That person will be the deciding factor if Karn lives or dies. And most in their situation, would choose to kill him. So, it's up to you Phoenix's. To help them. You may not know how, but I'm sure you'll think of something." he hummed.

Lazarus

He had been to Crocus a few times in his travels before joining Phoenix Wing. He had got in trouble with the authorities a few times too. It was fine though, he looked nothing like himself as a teen. His face had matured far too much to be recognized. He stood up nodding. "Hm." He mouthed in agreement. "I haven't eaten since this morning." His eyes darted towards Shujin with caution. He sighed. It was probably time to show his little brother who he had really become anyway. "...Would you want to join us?" He looked at Sasha for approval.

Shujin

Having already congratulated Zephyr on his win, Shujin had other things on his mind. For phoenix wing's Maddox to be defeated by Grant. It showed how powerful Iron Enigma could be. Had he tried to bring down the iron fist of justice on Grant, Shujin feared he wouldn't be here right now. No. He couldn't do much against that kind of power. So who present at the games could if things kicked off? Of course there were the masters, but even so Iron enigma's master would be a match for any of them. Shujin was quite knowledgeable about the top mages in the nation's guild. There weren't many present which were on Maddox's level. There was Ammy. She could probably deal with one of the stronger Enigma members. Sasha Shin of course, but she was too young in her magic. However when they fought. He could feel a strange different sort of power on a whole other level. If she could unlock that power... he was certain that she would become one of the most powerful wizards in Ishgar. He noted it would be a good idea to keep an eye on her until that time came. They were both linked to Fairy tail after all. His mind had trailed off and he had found himself standing right next to Lazarus and party somehow. His expression changed to confusion and dismay as he didn't know what to do. "Hey... Sure... I mean if that's ok?"

Master Jamie
@Burthstone

Jamie caught himself as Gregory pushed passed her.. Hesitating for only a moment, Jamie changed forms, to a young girl with blonde hair, and quite short, following after Gregory, watched as he helped his guild members. Jamie frowned, studying everything, and trying to piece together what had happened. Uneasy, Jamie stayed out of the way, keeping herself hidden. As Grant entered pushing passed where Jamie was Jamie hesitated once more, before taking out a lacrima. Thiss one seemed to be quite small, easily concealed, and Jamie attached it to a wall above the basement, not wanting to risk being seen. Immediately, by way of another small lacrima, Jamie heard everything.

There were two things Jamie figured she could do here. Follow Grant, or let her presence be known. Of course, there was also the third option of just walking away. Which wasn't an option at all.

So Jamie made himself known, changing to his most known form, and said smoothly "I think the question is...how did you think you could get away with kidnapping one of my members, and not expect retaliation?" Jamie looked about, giving a sigh. "By now, they are probably safe some where. So I suppose i should say, you think of harming my members again, and I will destroy you" Jamie said it calmly, not concerned with the fact that she was within another guilds hotel, most likely surrounded, by a dark guild no less.

Sasha
@yipeeXD@lmpkio

Sasha never liked to be rude, and couldn't figure out a way of saying no without doing so. besides, what did it matter? "Sure, the more the merrier!" She said brightly, figuring that Shujin wouldn't risk doing anything, not that he seemed to be thinking of doing anything. She smiled, and led the way to othe restaurant. It was a small place, but nevertheless seemed busy. Maybe it was because of the games, but Sasha didn't think so. It was a cosy place, warm and welcoming, and Sasha went up to see if they could get a table.

It took a few moments, but they managed to get a table, and Sasha smiled at the others, "Is this okay?" She asked them

Penny
@Silver Fox@CirusArvennicus

"Its always easy to chose the straightest route" Penny said, "it's harder to know that you are hurting someone you care about, but if it gives them happiness, peace, or relief, then...it's worth it, even if it's only for a few moments. Karn deserves that. Death that's been full of pain...he doesn't deserve that. So We will find a way" She said, knowing she'd see this through to the end, no matter what.

Michael

Michael didn't know if he couldl stay here by himself for however long it took to have the next battle begin, and he squirmed, not feeling comfortable approaching the master, ot Jackie, and heaven's knew where prince was. but where was Zephyr?

Guilt racked Michael. He should find him. And there was also Gabriel...Michael squirmed uneasily, wanting to find his brother too, but...he didn't know anymore

Isla

Painting Booth

Indigo

The woman stood before her like she was some sort of rulee over Isla. She would have been the queen and Isla the poor farmer. Isla could still put a smile on her face after what just happened. She was however a bit shocked over her leg that was not moving anymore but furthermore everything was fine. The paint on her clothes did not matter a single bit cause the next day it would be the same. The woman her power sure was something and she was clearly not lying about her own powers. Isla gulped down yet smirked at the woman "Huh no fair! I didn't do anything to deserve this! Who is Ike and what have I done?" She rolled over on her back and laughed out loud while rolling around on the floor. She sat back up and whiped a tear from the laughing away "He...he, you sure are funny lady. People come to me for a painting of themselves and that's all they're gonna get. Well that's all I'm gonna get, nihihihi." She mysteriously smirked and put another wide grin on her face. The woman somehow figured her out. This was gonna happen eventually but she didn't prepare for someone like this to figure it out "However I might have a special offer for you my lady. As you have seen I'm a magic user. That's not that hard to understand but. I have no clue on how most of my magic works!" She innocently smiles at the woman and continues "There is no way for me to simply let him out of the painting. Only inside the painting you'll be able to go out of it. Yet that's very hard cause you need to find the exit and you want to know how big such a painting is from the inside. As big as the whole city." She started rolling around and laughing again "He'll never get out hahaha... But just for you I can help him! If you ask really kindly of course!" Another smile crossed her face before she instructed the woman to give her the painting "I can give him hints on what to do to get out but it'll take some time for him." She started painting and was done within 2 minutes. A letter was lying on the throne but nothing else seemed to have changed "Here all done! The letter will say to him what to do so he should be fine! Be carefull with the painting!" What the woman didn't see was the small rabbit placed between one of the piles of gold. "If the canvas breaks he'll die. Can you now just... Maybe get my leg like it was before... I don't wanna go around in a wheelchair." She awkwardly smiled at the woman and rubbed the back of her head. Ike would be in for a surprise. The letter said carefully " Dear Ike, I got scolded at for misbehaviour! This is all your fault and you gotta pay for it! Thats why you'll be stuck in here for some time but don't worry. Your guild mates will free you from your curse (not)! I made a easier exit for you! You must be thinking, aww no I wanna stay here! Well I'm upset too but whatever. Your new friend has the exit so I simply wish you luck! Bai bai! X Isla <3" The small rabbit moved around in the gold from time to time but stayed mostly on the same spot.

"Lets go!" Marlene replies as she gets up and follows Sasha and Lazarus to a table nearby. She nods at Sasha suggesting this seat as she sits down to relax and looks for a menu to look at.

"Now mind if I ask what food is served here?" she asks Sasha as she looks at the place they will eat from.

Trinity Stratos

"But that's just a theory?" The minstrel was frustrated by it. All they had to go on were vague, indefinite rumors. With only a few days to cure him, it wasn't looking good for them. The theory that Karn's magic was overpowering and destroying him. The concept of a solution here was easy, but that left the question of how.

"Friends and family? Surprisingly selfish of him for a final wish, if he's just going to up and give up on himself." She wanted to pinch the little dragoncat, but decided better of it. "If only he could see what he has, right under his nose..."

The plan of Rian's sounded a little fishy. "A person?" A decision that most would choose to kill Karn instead, because they were dragged into it? "His plan sounds a tad unpleasant," she mused dryly, but set about thinking of a plan. Penny's pep fueled her, and an idea sparked in her head. "Ah, Penny! When I was kidnapped... They stuck these bracelets on me. I think they meant it to completely block my magic, but it just limited severely, instead. I was barely able to cut through them. It was good that Damian and that lady found me when they did, I wouldn't have been able to escape on my own. Those Nightshade guys were about to fly me away in their airship, too. Do you think it could buy us time?"

Ferrin and Valak

@Burthstone @yoshua171

Ferrin nodded. That seemed reasonable. "Now that that's settled, we can sleep easy tonight." He may have been slightly sarcastic. "But, back to my original question, what next? I really didn't expect things to turn out this way and only have limited plans for it. Do you want to go back to your guild mates or do you have something you want to do first?"

Suddenly Valak spoke up. "Neither Guild masters are there." Ferrin looked over. "At the area?" He asked. Valak nodded. "So, they probably have found out already..." He looked thoughtful. A gleam entered his eyes and he grinned slightly. "I wonder..." Valak looked alarmed. "That look got us in this mess." He muttered uncharacteristically.

Prince

"Everyone has a point in their lives where they are selfish. It is a natural flaw. After all, are you not selfish as well for wanting to force him to continue to walk in life when all he wants is to finally sleep? It was Rian who forced him to find the meaning. Since his own blood relatives despise him. When we met, he was different. And it was difficult to keep him from offing himself. But perhaps you are correct. Perhaps he should not of been selfish, and just been all alone. But I think he knows exactly what he has. That is why he won't tell you. Because at this point, he knows there is nothing to be done. His fate his set, he's supposed to die. You cannot defy fate. You were never supposed to even meet him." Primce mused before listening to Trinity and shaking his head.

"That won't help. Though magical power has some connection to the cause, it's also a a physical illness. His internal organs are already faulty. I'm sure he's already died several times do to stress alone. Like when that Dragon Slayer's dragon died. Or when he found Ru. If we would of wanted to save him, we would have to have found him before he had died." the feline said before standing straight and stretching.

"Although Rian's plan is unpleasant and could have major reprocussions. It might be only way. So I hope you can handle the outcome. And do hope, Penny, you know a bit of that other Karn." He mused before jumping on the railing and walking along it with ease.

"Well, hope you lovely ladies enjoy the games!" Prince grinned cheerfully. "I'm going to find a cute little kitten."

Dornae Namari - The Luckless Enchanter
Theme I/|\Theme II/|\Theme III

Smiling at the girl in dragon form, Dornae nodded, though he looked to the other two when Ferrin spoke. While he didn't recognize the gleam like Valak had, he didn't like the reply the man made in response to it. "You try and get in more trouble and I'm not helping you, at least not without a better plan" the Enchanter stated bluntly, "And believe me, that could have gone much worse if I hadn't enchanted the building. You'd be looking at property damage in addition to having attacked a guild. Might not mean much to you, but I guarantee the authorities would be quickly getting on your trail if there was more involved than one guild." He shook his head and rose from his seat on the bed, glancing at Mithera as he did so.

"Tell you what, I picked up a small bit of sewing a few years back. I'll go buy a simple dress. We can see how the dress fits and if it doesn't I can...alter it accordingly with my magic. Shouldn't take too much effort and I really don't mind much." He smiled at her then walked to the door, his apple finished. "I'll be back in a few minutes," he stated, opening the door. Then, right before he left, he glanced at Ferrin and pointedly said, "And please don't carry out whatever you're thinking before we get back. I'd like a say if I'm to keep getting involved." He then left the room.

As he exited the room he immediately took out his Enchanter's Dagger and his father's heirloom. On the heirloom he carved several runes and then left the hotel, heading for a woman's clothes shop. The runes would make sure that anyone with intent to find him, excluding Valak, Mithera, and Ferrin, would fail. Those who glimpsed his face and clothes as he walked by wouldn't properly retain any notable information as there was a sort of illusionary blur that reacted to people's interest. The greater their interest, the more difficult to notice he was.

Several minutes passing till he found a decent store, Dornae hoped that this Ferrin didn't come up with another genius plan while he was gone. Or at least that the man would heed his words. Not that he couldn't track the three of them by this point.

After all, while Ferrin's barriers could keep most out, he had already analyzed them and doing that had given him a good read on the mage's magical energy. Valak's was apparent enough, and Mithera was releasing small amounts of it as well, though it didn't seem to have much to do with her transformation. He'd need to make a point of scrubbing that magic from their trail before he returned. It'd only take him about two minutes anyways, if that.

What bad could happen in two minutes? He almost asked himself, then rolled his eyes.

In that moment Dornae reminded himself that lady luck was generally not on his side.

Generally.
