Angelo asked putting emphasis on buddy to annoy him a little as he sat down next to Amaya well its nice to meet you Amaya and if I had to guess id say......cold. cause you seem really shy but I know you are going to be a badass in the arena when you go in that im thinking about actually watching it myself Angelo said smiling as he started to lick his ice cream deciding to stay with their company for a while to kill a few hours if nothing else and even be able to connect with the other dragon slayer the guild has.

Jamie headed back to the hotel first, telling herself it was simply to check things were alright, but really to see if Jarvis was there. Or mithera. Neither was, but Jamie stopped at a stranger standing in front what appeared to be one of the guilds doors. Jamie blinked, before adopting a defensive demeanor.

"excuse me, do you need something?" perhaps a little bit of a harsh tone there, but the last few days showedJamie that she had to be more careful. Jamie waited for a response, ready for just about anything, having not seen the guild mark yet

Jamie waited until the "solider" was nearing the exit, before saying "you know, the only reason I've Gone along with this little charade is for appearances. Use this fake position to mess with my guild...and you'll find I'm not so nice" Jamie Rose, and headed out the room, taking the chance to leave the building. Mithera wasn't here, his Jamiedidnt need to be. Thus he needed to find where she was

Hawkins paused, out of Gregory's earshot, then looked over his shoulder and smiled "I am not sure what you mean, Guild Master Jamie." He turned around and started to head to Gregory's room. "Oh, remember," He said without turning around. "No one leaves until this is sorted out. You will be arrested if you are caught. Oh, and I hear there is a nice street near the middle of town that is quiet this time of day. Lots of hotels and such. The food there is top notch too. Maybe I'll drop by on my break to check on my cat." He walked away.

He caught up with Gregory and slipped inside the room. He pulled up a chair and sat down, motioning him to do the same. He sat, folded his hands together and stared at Gregory, letting the silence strech.

"Hmm, unfortunate," he said in reply before he glanced at Valak a moment, a thought springing to mind. "How did you and Ferrin come to travel alongside one another?" he queried. The two seemed rather...mismatched, but then again perhaps he was entirely wrong on that account, he had misunderstood people before, though it was almost less common than him being lucky, which was saying something.

At the end of the day it probably didn't matter, but then again it might be useful in understanding both of them better if he came to know how they had met and how Valak had put up with the impulsive troublemaker up until now. Then again, it was entirely possible that they had met only recently, their goals aligning.

Hard to say really. As such, he stopped trying to figure it out and hoped that the not so talkative Valak would explain.

"I didn't hear no." He replied to Marlene in a sing song voice just to tease her. It was just a little taste her own medicine for teasing Nolan and to be quite honest he quite enjoyed messing with her. She just had the kind of face that just molded in hilarious ways when she was mad. Her reactions were priceless and boy did he enjoy seeing her acting all shy after making his friend uncomfortable. Not to mention he enjoyed the view he got despite the reprimanding he received from Gabriel. "She checks me out and I check her out. I say that's a pretty fair trade off." He felt like he was getting stares from surrounding people passing by, their eyes pointed downwards his body. Not that he minded. He knew he was hot stuff and could work with it.

"Heh, make sure he pays me back for my clothes. Those clothes weren't exactly cheap." He called out to Ni as she chased after Argus. He glanced back at Gabriel and grinned. "Thanks for doing me a solid. I'll pay you back later." He said as he followed after him with Marlene.

"Not much I could say. I trained with Karn for two months in hopes that I would become stronger. That I succeeded in doing though I failed to get over my fear of women, just my fear of him. Why do you ask?" He said with his usual calm indifference. If she could still sense magic she would be able to tell that his power had grown exponentially as well as his physical abilities. His presence alone exuded strength.

God this awkward silence was killing him. He fidgeted in his seat and couldn't meet her eyes while she couldn't meet his. The tension in the room was getting to be too much so he decided to break the silence. "Let's just have some fun tonight and not worry about anything. I mean, not that kind of fun, er, not that I'd mind, but not on the first night um uh..." His face just turned redder and redder as his tongue kept stumbling on and on nervously. If there was anything to be said about this guy, it would be that he wasn't good at handling awkward situations. One would expect that he would be able to react coolie with a charming smile, but no, he was just straight out embarrassed while trying to make the best of an awkward situation. It wasn't working. Ferris sighed and said, "I'll shut up now."

How...how is that possible? How come Zephyr didn't have any secrets? Everyone has a secret or two even if it was something stupid! Of all of his years gathering information from enemy kingdoms, criminal organizations, and so on he found skeletons in many closets. He didn't believe Zephyr for a single moment. Surely their must've been something that he didn't want anyone to find out. "Come on, you have to have some secret. You honestly haven't done anything so stupid that you wouldn't want to keep it to yourself?"

Gabriel just sighed at Enma's antics, and gave a shake of his head, "Don't worry about it. I have enough money" that wasn't strictly true, but why mention that? And there was no point taking money when it was just the right thing to do. Once the two were safe in changing rooms, he stared at the clothes, completely lost. Clothes were not his thing, and desperate, he latched onto a sales associate, hesitating before explaining what had happened and the desperate need for clothes.

There wasn't much more for Gabriel to do but pay, and relieved, he took them back to the changing rooms, knocking to make sure he had the right rooms, passing over the clothes, and then stepping back to wait.

Jessie couldn't help but giggle as they both made the situation worse. She smiled at Ferrin and nodded, "Sure, innocent fun" She looked out the box, and said "OH! Look, Games Master Sheldon is approaching the field! Could this be the start of the last battle?" she leaned over turning on her mic, sliding back into announcer mode.

Master Jamie chuckled in amusement. He had to say, the kid had some...spunk. It was also rather refreshing to not be recognised, despite the fact this was her most known form. "Ah. You must have joined when Jarvis was in charge" Jamie said with amusement, studying Lucas, before saying "I am Jamie Beltras. In other words, Phoenix Wing's Guild Master" Jamie shifted, adopting a more serious stance, "And just why do you think you deserve to move up a rank? You cannot simply ask that, without defending the reason why. I don't know you, nor do I know your abilities. I'm sure Jarvis does, but he would have mentioned a new member so maybe not. So why? I cannot do my normal rank test here, but...convince me"

It did not escape Jamie that they were standing here, in the hall way, but Jamie made no move to move anywhere else.Jamie gave a smile,almost challenging, "Unless of course you want to give me attitude some more, child, or have I sufficiently shamed you to not make a quick judgement? I guess you've dealt with it longer than we've known you, but... were you just, not going to tell anyone? Or was Prince going to come and explain? Why you wouldn't be coming back." She sighed, before she suddenly stomped her foot and looked aside. "Dammit, I should have pressed you harder about this sooner..." She's stopped in front of the ice cream shop again, her arms dropping to her sides as Karn tranforms to his real form. Just look at how sickly he seems...

"How often do you publish, Riley?" Hadn't an issue gone out just recently? Recently enough for a Magic Games article to be in it. Maybe it was a special issue. But he was on board, which was good. She'd need his enthusiasm and energy to keep this going, early on. She'd get lots of enthusiastic content for their new magazine.

"So, we'll want to split up the four big competitors. Which one do you want the most, Riley?" She produced her notepad, jotting down the names of the guilds and organizing some notes. "What are the names of the four minor guilds? I'll get some information on them, shouldn't just ignore them." Between finishing her article, finding all the equipment they'd need, and whatever else she'd have to find, Jasmine would be busy, but she'd have more time. Depending on how often Riley's magazine published, though...

Lucas smiled, "Your the old.... oh crap!" Lucas was shocked, he just insulted his guild master with attitude. Lucas stood more upright, smiling once again, "Sorry master, I apologize. But..." Lucas slowly walked towards her and was a mere 3 feet from her, "I know virtually nothing about you. First day as a member and I was away on business, almost dying and gone for two months, so I know little to nothing about you master and as you said, you don't know me or my abilities. My magic is in my eyes, its my source. As you can see..." Lucas stopped, pointing to his now missing eye, "My power is halved. Yet returning, I am stronger then when I left. And of course, i'm stubborn." Lucas put his left foot forward and his right back, arms raised, hand to hand was Lucas's main force of attack. He knew he didn't have a chance but he'd always wandered the power above an 'S' rank mage. "Master, if you'r offer still stands?"

Damian smiled and nodded. "Cool. Let's meet outside the hotel in...two hours?" Once Penny gave her answer, Damian leaped over the edge of the stairway and caught himself a couple floors down, climbing down by jumping over to the wall of the next building and sliding down it. A few feet from the bottom, he pushes off and rolls into a jog before slowing down to a walk before exiting the alley and heading to the hotel. He would need to find out what places had the right romantic atmosphere, but also weren't TOO spendy, he didn't bring much of his savings with him, or at least as much as he should have. I could make a withdrawal at the bank, but these Golden Laws could decide that trying to attack when Penny and I are on our date is best...I'll keep it with me, but that's about it.

He really hoped that these guys had more class than to attack a guy while he's having dinner with his girlfriend, but somehow he doubted it. Walking into the hotel, he nods to the front desk manager and heads down the hall to the stairs to get to his room when he saw Lucas and Master Jamie. And it wasn't hard to tell what Master Jamie had essentially said. "WHOA! Hey, no need for that here!" He hurried to the pair then got between them with his hands held up. "We're in the middle of the Grand Magic Games, trying to show people that they can TRUST magic, and you're about to get into a fight of some kind in the middle of Crocus in our hotel? What the hell is this even about?" Damian silently prayed Penny was close behind him and would back him up in regards to postponing anything major until later. "And if you're going to insist on doing this, at least ask if you can use the courtyard."

He then looks pointedly at Lucas. "And if you CAN use the courtyard, try not to reduce everything around you to rubble."

Confused for a moment she glanced at Nolan. The first part sounded normal, going off to train and get stronger. No doubt he'd picked Karn to to try and get past the fear he mentioned. One thing didn't make sense though. "Um... Are you sure about that last part? Because I'm walking right next to you and you aren't shaking, sweating bullets, or cowering like you usually do." Maybe he was still in the zone or something.

Ariel may not have the personality issue at the moment but she did still like to have fun. Stepping closer she hooked her arm through Nolan's just to see him freak out. Even normally she liked to cause a little mischievous from time to time.

Master Jamie closed her eyes and sighed. Why did the young always go to fighting? Jamie was just about to speak up when Damian entered, at once jumping to a conclusion that Jamie just found annoying. Perhaps the day had just been too long, too full of...well, crap. Could Jamie then be excused for what she did? He didn't know.

Jamie snapped. "it seems there has been a misunderstanding here. I never intended a fight, Lucas. There are other ways of testing strength, and I much prefer them then to battles for ranks. So stand down. I said convince me, not fight me" and then Jamie turned to Damian. "as for you, I thought I made it clear that I know what I am doing. I am not stupid, nor am I foolish. I think about the consequences of my actions more then you know, and I know just what the games mean to everyone. I've been doing this guild master thing for 15 years, and I do not appreciate being treated like a child."

Turning aside Jamie once more spoke to Lucas, "not once have I fought one of my members, because anyone can have strength. It's heart and will j look for. Show me you have the heart to be an A class Mage, and I will grant it"

Penny was indeed close behind Damian, but stopped at the commotion. From Master Jamie's appearance, at least to Penny-eyes closed and a mild look of exasperation on the guild Masters face-it was clear that some sort of issue had occurred, but that the guild master had no intention of fighting, she was just about to speak hoc when Damian did.

Penny was slightly taken aback at the barely controlled restraint both Damian and Naster Jamie showed. The guild master was normally controlled, this...what was going on?

Penny slid a hand into Damian's, and gentle tugged him back, "don't push her anymore." she said softly, worriedly, "something's...I think something more has happened. You said Master Jamie was going to get mithera back, so why is he here? Without mithera?"

Lucas returned to a normal a stance, "Im sorry, the last two months of my life have been fighting everyday, I had hoped I could go back to the normal routine, but even yesterday, The Golden Laws attacked me. I apologize for my actions and words, Master Jamie, Damian and... Sorry who are you?" Lucas, pointing towards Penny. Lucas heard the woman say something about a missing person... Mithera. "I'm sorry, but is someone from our guild missing. If it's heart you'd like to see, allow me to come with you Master Jamie."

Jamie have a sudden laugh, suddenly realizing that she had been there that day, when Lucas destroyed a popular pub. "oh! That was you? How lovely. Have you gained more control? That's what kept you at a C rank level, and what will keep you there" he said with amusement, which died away with a sigh.

"I do not think she is missing anymore. I am trying to find her, but someone already broke her out, causing a whole lot of Drama to go along with it. One of iron enigma's members is dead. I may have shoved my foot in my mouth without realizing it there. I think she's safe, but...of it has been anyone from our guild, they wouldn't have killed and left the body to be discovered" Jamie sighed, feeling that it would have been easier if Mithera had still been at the iron enigma guild.

There was that fake guard to consider as well. What was unit for them? There was more then simply kidnapping going on here. "I thought maybe mithera would be here, but no. I'm going to see if I can find her anywhere" it would be a lot easier if mithera could carry a communication lacrima, but that wasn't possible at the moment.

Another sigh. "I'm sorry Lucas, but I can't let you come without knowing your strength. As you said, your abilities have been halved, and with what's going on, I'd prefer to keep you safe. Penny and Damian will help, you should go meet up with some of the other guild members. Some are at a restaurant I believe, nearby. You could meet up with them"

Typically if a woman touched him it would set a panic attack of epic proportions off save for a friend like Fleo and maybe Amaya though he wouldn't even do something like that. Nolan looked down at the short woman and then glanced away from her. "The situations changed...a bit." He said with a slight blush.

Meanwhile Dalton was completely passed out in Nolan's hood.

The oni did enjoy teasing her though what he said was the truth. He certainly did like what he saw, the blunt, vulgar bastard that he is. Before she could hit him in the place where the sun rarely shines he entered the changing stall and sat there waiting for Gabriel to bring him whatever clothes he finds. Not that he minded being naked, but it was starting to get cold around the nether regions and the store's air conditioning wasn't helping him either. Thankfully Gabriel arrived with some clothes that were thankfully his size. It's not easy finding clothes for someone when you're six damn feet tall. He came out dressed in gray jeans, a dark red collard shirt and black boots. These clothes felt very strange on him. They weren't as loose as his usual attire, but it would have to do.

"Y-yeah, innocent fun." Ferris replied with a sheepish grin on his face. He mentally cursed himself for saying something so stupid, but it was too late to take it back now. Thankfully for once Sheldon had good timing and announced that the final match of the day was going to be taking place soon. Ferris leaned into the microphone, eager to get back to his job. "Now this will be an interesting match up! Karn 'The Chimera' versus the Diamond Make mage Krystal! How will he be able to cope against the strongest gem stone?"

"We publish every two weeks so it will be another two weeks before the next issue is published. I'll take Phoenix Wing and Frenzy Plant and you can get Dragon Fang and Iron Enigma. The other four are Tough Love, Rider's Blade, and Pirate Lord. I feel like not many are going to be interested in Tough Love at this rate, but the other two maybe a bit more interesting."

"Stay calm, don't get cocky, and avoid showing off like the whale-man did." Pyrrha said, wincing a bit as she spoke. That bruise still hurt like hell.

"Exactly as she said. And remember, we aren't here to win, but simply to prove that we are worth something and worth having around." Fraquar said as he did some maintenance on his mechanical arm. He looked over at the young girl and smiled."Of course, your magic is naturally showing off a bit, so just focus on the fight."

"Over all, just have fun out there and don't push yourself. I reckin' you'll be fine." Delsin added.

"They've summarized everything I think." Sigurd said, patting Krystal on her right shoulder.

Giving her guild a small smile and thanking them, Krytal headed down to the arena. She felt nervous with so many eyes on her but she took a deep breathe to calm herself. She also knew she was against a mage from one of the stronger guilds. She was just a nobody but she hoped her magic would prove to be at least a decent challenge to this Karn person. Looking up at the sky, she smiled again. Maybe the sunlight reflecting off her creations would blind him.

Joshua smiled as Amaya began talking with Angelo. He knew she had a hard time talking with people she didn't know, but this would be a good exercise for her. Though he was slightly annoyed to see Angelo sit next to Amaya, he didn't object and sat down opposite of them, deciding to stay out of the conversation for now.

He didn't just assumed Sasha knew what that was. "It is supposedly the sacred land of fairy tail." He looked around cautiously before speaking again. "I don't trust him. At all. But I want to know about my parents and fairy tail... I noticed that he approached you earlier... no doubt to ask you of the same favor." He sighed. "If things go south... Unfortunately I don't think I could take him on my own. When we fought I could sense your feelings in your magic. I'm almost certain we could stop him together if necessary." He blinked and stopped talking. It was a lot of information. "Long story short. We should help him, until the moment things go sour. At that point we put a stop to him." IT was kind of a double agent scheme.
