@Zarkun
(OOC: At least Cody and James weren't attacked yet XD)
"Ah yes, I was talking with Jamie...and umm....I was hoping you could help me with swordsmanship?" He asked with uncertainty, playing with the cloth covering his sword as he looked down at the ground.
"Oh and I should umm...thank you for helping me join the guild." He added with a low bow. After all James didn't have to show him to the guild.
As he stopped his bow he removed the cloth from his sword, revealing the beautiful rune inscribed leather scabbard. It had a brown leather grip and a ruby hilt, but it had string wrapped around the entire thing as if to keep the sword in place.

"... do I deserve to be alive?"

"Don't talk like that!"
Axis Jubilee and Vera Arc
Morning - Crocus Stadium

@Caits | @Demous | @Lmpkio

Vera was quietly going about the rest of her work, somberly stamping pages and ticking boxes until all the print began to just blur together. She hadn't expected Carrie to approach her. Vera had always made an obvious effort to keep to herself. The previous council had been very fearful of Vera. Through Axis' help and training, she eventually became another tool for them to use, but they would always be wary of the Homunculus who 'threatened the very sanctity of life in Fiore'. With the new Council, Vera was positive that they all knew what she was. She thought that by distancing herself, she'd be able to avoid their prejudice. Yet here Carrie and Masahiko stood, two members of the old council, offering to help her. Was it pity? Vera didn't like the thought of people taking pity on her. Yet there was something about the way they offered their hand to her that she just couldn't ignore. It was a very sincere, genuine gesture.
"To be considered one of you is the greatest of honors." Vera placed her paperwork down and stood face to face with Carrie. She picked up Messiah, her Anti-Magic Parasol, and rested it gently at her side. "I will continue to make sure Axis behaves."

From the other side of the room, another unexpected voice rose up. Lady Sayatachi addressed Vera, offering to take her with her into the stage. Sayatachi was a very beautiful woman, one of the many objects of envy for many ladies across Fiore. Vera smiled, taking her up on the offer. Carrie even offered to walk with her. Trailing behind Sayatachi with Carrie, Vera entered the stadium and felt her nerves coming back. The crowd was massive, and she was out in open view for all to see. Her body froze for a second, and she had every intention to dash back into the room. Yet seeing Axis waiting for her, as well as the support from the council, she felt like that this was where she deserved to be. Walking forward, Axis offered his arm to her. Usually a gesture like this would be matched with a distasteful comment about Vera's bust size, but today it seemed Axis intended to play the part of a gentleman.

Curtain Call

"What reason do I have to be happy? Tell me that!"

"Just look around, Bullet. There has to be something."
Isabella Pinelli and Bullet
Morning - Streets of Crocus

@Lmpkio | @Demous | @Lugubrious | @YipeeXD | @Burthstone

After Isabella and Bullet gave their wishes of good luck to Lazarus and the others as they set off with their small group of friends. Sayuri, Fleo, Samir and Marlene. They had plans to go and watch the games together and then enjoy a nice lunch, but Isabella and Bullet were eventually left behind when Bullet decided he wanted to buy a bag of pork buns. Isabella impatiently tapped her foot outside of the store, rolling her eyes as Bullet exited with a large, steamed bun hanging out of his mouth. The two stared at each other for a moment, Bullet quivering under Isabella's harsh glare. He reached into his paper bag, pulling out a bun and offering it to Isabella as he swallowed the one he was currently eating.
"You want one?" Isabella sighed at his comment, an obvious no. Bullet shrugged his shoulders and then bit into his second bun. The two continued to walk, far behind the others at this point.
"We only ate breakfast not even two hours ago. Why are you stuffing your face with pork buns?" Isabella was hoping to continue catching up with her old, and new, friends; but Bullet would have gotten lost if he'd stayed behind by himself. The young man swallowed his second meat bun, pouting towards the ground at Isabella's displeasure.
"I'm a growing boy!" He protested, slowly stuffing his mouth with another bun.
"Yeah, no kidding." Bullet's body went stiff at the comment, and he cursed himself under his breath for walking into such an obvious joke about his height. Isabella laughed at his reaction, having to turn away to hide her smile. Bullet always enjoyed their friendly banter. Isabella's smile was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen, and he wanted to make sure she could keep smiling forever.

Isabella came to a sudden halt, and Bullet tilted his head to the side in confusion. Her smile had disappeared, and she was frowning with an odd fierceness in front of her. Bullet followed her gaze, noticing that the entire street was empty aside from a pair of girls who looked remarkably like each other. Twins. Bullet stared between the two of them and Isabella. Isabella could feel something strange from them. Their aura suggested that they weren't just ordinary girls. Her suspicions were confirmed them they took up arms, expressing their desire to kill the two of them. Lelia charged, unrelenting in her assault with her fire daggers. Bullet's eyes widened, not expecting her to be so fast.
"Con Spirito!" Isabella's voice cut through the silence, bringing Bullet out of his initial shock. Lelia's eyes widened as a large, mechanical arm sprung forth from the ground in front of Isabella. The fist was flying directly for her, but Lelia quick shifted her weight backwards, flipping out of Maestoso's path. The large fist disappeared into wisps of light, but there was still a decent sized hole in the ground in front of Isabella.

"That was a quick attack. Not quick enough, I'm afraid." Isabella laughed at the girls attempt to taunt her. The twins were so deadpan in their expression that it was hard for her to take anything they said seriously. Even Bullet grinned, removing his overcoat and slippers to reveal the intricate red markings that covered every inch of his skin. They pulsed with magic, glowing bright and searing his skin.
"Don't be too quick to criticise me. We don't know who you are or what you want, but if you're so eager to see our performance then we'll be glad to offer you front row seats. Alto, Basso! It's showtime!" At her command, the two mechanical devices situated on her hip and the back of her shoulders pulsed with magic. Their compartments opened, and many different mechanical contraptions began to spring form and patch themselves together. Covered in a beautiful brass coat, Alto and Basso deployed themselves at Isabella's side. The young girl gave a bow, her set of mechanical arms making the same motion. Meanwhile, Bullet's fists glowed red as he summoned Fantasia. His bag of meat buns thrown to the ground.
"Don't expect me to pull my punches just because you're ladies. And try not to cry too much; it's embarrassing."
The twins smiled, but only slightly. Their dead eyes hollowness was quite unsettling, but Isabella and Bullet weren't scared of losing in the slightest. When they fought side by side, they felt unstoppable.

@Leslie Hall
Samir Saron & Marlene Evangeline

Samir and Marlene said their farewells to everyone in the hall as they headed out with Isabella and Bullet, ready to enjoy another fine day at the games. Yet the two pairs of friends got separated as the former, Bullet, wanted to buy a bag of pork buns. Samir happened to stop by one of the fashion shops to take a quick gander at all the delightful clothes, many long and beautiful, with some being short and skimpy. Marlene was getting bored until he saw a store filled with crystals. She squeals in delight as she runs towards the shop and sighing in awe at all the beautiful crystals. While she continues to look at these dazzling objects, Samir continued to look at some more clothes at all the other shops.

However, as she exited one of them with a smile, her face drops dead as she finds herself faced with a woman wearing a mask and with a totem on her back. A sigh escapes her mouth as she prepares for a fight.

"What do you want?" she scowls as she reaches for her bow.

"You have angered our great leader. Now you must die."

"Leader? What Lead~?"

But before Samir could finish, a giant bear with the head of an eagle appeared from the woman and attacked the archer. With a swift dodge she was able to avoid the shot. It appears as if this woman used some form of Shamanic magic, a magic Sammy hasn't seen in awhile. This would be most certainly interesting.

"Hmph." she snorts, "This oughta be easy. It'll be like hunting game back in the village."

And with that, she fires several Light Arrows at her opponent. Thankfully Marlene wasn't her to get in on the action, otherwise Samir fears she might go on another rage fit or something along those lines...

FERRIS

Ferris took a swig of water from a glass he poured while Jessie was talking and then spat at it at her mentioning small package followed by a poke from her. The model's eye twitched as he forced to keep a calm facade as to not freak the audience out, muttering just loud enough for only Jessie to hear, "You'll change your mind later." His face went pale just right after Jessie said that her brother was a member of the council. In fact, he was a high ranking member of the new council that was present in the stadium right now. Even though she had said that her brother was perhaps one of the nicest people ever, the wrath of a brother protecting his baby sister is something to truly fear.

"Well I'm willing to bet your brother is a powerful and intelligent mage if he made it into the council! The same could be said for the rest of the council members present here today! Even they wish to witness the first ever games in a hundred years!"

@liferusher
NOLAN

Nolan was just walking down the streets to head to the stadium with his team though he fell behind briefly in order to get some coffee to perk himself up. Today was a new day so he would try to at least try to have a better attitude towards everyone, just as soon as his lips met his morning panacea. A bump against his arm caused it to jerk, making him spill his drink all over the cobblestone road. For a moment he stood as still as a statue, save for his now empty hand twitching as it fought to form a fist. Nolan turned to look at the culprit, his hood shadowed his face so that no one could really make out his eyes, which served to enhance his ominous aura. Now when saw who he was pissed off was just a kid he nearly slapped himself for being so aggressive with a child. In reality Drow was actually a full grown woman that was three years older than Nolan. "It's fine kid. Just watch where you're going next time."

The hammer moving down towards Rose and Elyse stopped in it's tracked as an armored figure appeared in front of the mother and daughter and stopped the head with one hand.
"One day.... no not even that. I finally have a family... and not even one day later, someone is already trying to tear it apart." Amelia said, walking past Rose and Jamie. Her expression was positively livid. "Mama, I'll handle these two. Please protect Miss Rose, Elyse and Sam."

The armored figure, meanwhile, pushed Joseph's hammer away like it weighed nothing and stared at the man.
"You mentioned something about flattening someone. Care to try a little harder?"

Adamine leaned over the edge of the stands and looked down over the arena, she could see people though she had no clue who they were or what exactly they were doing, she directed her attention to crowd, she could feel her anxiety as she looked at the mass of people, noticing the Phoenix Wing stands that stood at the edge of her peripherals Adamine turns to look at it as she drew back her hood slightly. The Guild's stands were almost directly across from her, drawing in a deep breath she repositions her hood on her head and makes her way in that direction. She'd heard more about Phoenix Wing than any other guild and it was easily the one she liked the most.
Picking passed the people Adamin grumbled to herself each time someone bumped her or stood in her way, as she made her way around the stadium she dropped her gaze into the arena hoping she wouldn't see Phoenix Wing in the field, it would suck if she'd walked all this way for nothing, blowing out a breath she stops just before the stands and glances back at where she had started from, with a shake of her head she turns and enters the Phoenix Wing stand. Upon seeing some of the guild members gathered there she felt her anxiety rear its ugly head, brushing it off she easily recognized Penny, The Phoenix, she moved toward her and stopped just short of about six feet. Adamine clears her throat and flinched at the sound "Ah, Hello Penny, I don't mean to interrupt, but my names Adamine and I guess you could say I'm kinda a fan of sorts" Adamine glances at the guy Penny had been talking to and gave an apologetic shy smile.

Penny watched someone approach and stop a little bit away, before addressing Penny. A fan, of her? Penny was slightly shocked at that. She should probably expect it, but she hadn't. After all, a majority of her time with the guild she'd been away. Still, the whole magic council thing probably caused her to be known. And being S class. "oh ah, thank you? I don't think anyone has every said they are a fan of mine"

michael
@silver fox

"I know death is apart of life" Michael said softly, sighing. "but if I choose to believe in fate, then that means I have to choose to accept that the choices I've made were simply destined to be. And that means I spent hours agonizing over decisions, such as joining the guild, and that I'm still agonizing over possibly choices for no reason. And that just makes it seem pointless. So then you can say it exist but...I don't think it's a always there thing"

He sighed again "I'd say Death would have a lot to say about Fate. Maybe we just have to have faith that, yes, things happen for a reason, but that we make out own destinies" he looked up at the sky at Prince's comment about the day.

"it is. Maybe one of the last good days before it gets cold"

@hatakekuro

Jessie just smiled at Ferris, continuing to speak, "aw, I think Ferris is nervous, finding out my brother is a council member as if that makes him
Big, bad and scary! It's sweet. Oh! Look Vera came out as well! She may not be a council member by title and prestige, but I don't think that matters! And look, she's come out with Carrie, who seems intent on making sure Vera continues to join them, a great show of comradeship! Carrie is, of course, a member of the old magic council, helping to provide a back bone and a leg to stand on with Masahiko!"
words tumbled out of Jessie's mouth with ease, and kept the flow natural despite Ferris's comment. But it did amuse her that he seemed to spit out his water.

Seeing Janna in trouble, a little girl in an orange witch outfit now approached the wizard.
"You lost?" The girl asked with her head cocked to the side as she tugged on the edge of Janna's outfit.
"Angela there you are! You shouldn't be running off like that." A young man with brown hair wheezed as he came running out of nowhere, and now seeing Janna straightened up and tidied up his messed up hair.
"Ah sorry is she bothering you?" He asked with an apologetic smile, the question now causing Angela to pout.
"She looked lost so I wanted to help." The young witch replied coldly, turning her back on the young man to focus on Janna.

She quickly sized the little girl in the witch outfit form top to bottom, trying to decide exactly how to reply.” Well I...” Janna began when another person appeared, seems like he was with the little girl.” No... She isn't bothering me...” Janna replied with a smile.

“Yeah, I'm actually kind of lost... I was headed to the stadium, but then I started checking out shops and before I knew it, I was lost again...” She replied, feeling slightly embarrassed at herself. It was pure miracle she actually managed to even get to this town in time for the Grand Magic Games.” I would appreciate if you can help me with some directions...” She said shyly.

Drow

Crocus streets

Nolan

The man Drow had bumped into had also dropped something of himself. His coffee had ended up all over the cobblestone street just like her bread. She stared down at the ground looking at the hurtful sight of her bread and back at Nolan. When she expected something nice back from the man she was frozen like a stone statue. One of her eyes twitched a little as the words echoed through her head.

She stood still for a minute or two before her cheeks raised into a pout and continuously stared at the man with an annoyed look "Kid..." Drow folded her arms over each other and turned her head away from the person and closed her eyes like she was ignoring him now "Baka." Her voice quietly sounded through the street. Her cheeks returned into a pout as she waited for the man's respons to her rebelious behaviour.

Ayame

Nero

Ayame jumped awake as Nero came to the spot where Ayame had been sleeping for the night. It was nothing to fancy just a small shelter where she could ly down in comfort. She jumped under the sheets and quietly peeked from under the sheets at Nero "D-don't d-do t-that!"

She stayed under the sheets for a while longer before slowly raising them from her body and gave Nero a kind smile while sitting on her butt leaning sideways onto her arm. She grabbed her bag and went off along the side of the genie and happily trotted along. They shared small conversations but it was mostly enjoying the warm weather with the two of them. She did not care where they would be going or what they were gonna do as long as she got to be with Nero once more.

Adamine pulled her hood all the way onto her shoulders and glanced around her before returning her gaze to Penny "I'm sorry, I don't mean to bug you, it's just that our magic is similar and yours appeals to me" Adamine rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment, she'd come all the way from Clover Town and now that she was here in Crocus, talking to an S-Class mage from Phoenix Wing she wasn't particularly sure what to do "I came from Clover Town to watch the games, I haven't missed much have I?" Angela Arthur James Jessica
"See told ya so." Angela pouted once more, crossing her arms across her chest while sticking her tongue out at the young man.
The young man rubbed his temples and decided not to bother replying to Angela, instead now focusing his attention on Janna.
"Ah if you're looking for the stadium we were on our way there, Angela here wanted to watch the games and I just happened to have some business which needed doing in the area. Oh and I am Arthur Kingston by the way." Arthur stuck his hand out towards Janna for a handshake as Angela started flailing her arms wildly in annoyance.
"Oi don't ignore me!" She yelled before kicking the young man in the shins.
"OW!" Arthur exclaimed loudly as he now hopped on one leg while holding his sore shin in his hands.
"Oh you found Angela." A new, more feminine voice said as a an elegant raven haired girl walked over with another dark hair boy her side.
The girl was wearing a black dress with a dark brown cloak over the top and the dark haired boy was wearing a sort of dark suit with a grey dress shirt and had a mischievous glint in his hazel brown eyes.
"Who's this?" The dark haired boy asked as he looked towards Janna curiously.

Fleo Plector – Phoenix Wing

@Leslie Hall@Caits@Lmpkio@Demous

So lost in thought was Fleo that upon the sudden arrival and murmured threat of Black Death, she did nothing more than jump slightly, pulled out of her reverie. ”Huh? Sorry? Confused, she blinked several times at the nebulous haze that floated where a man's voice had come from. Did I imagine that? She looked around, noticing that none of her Phoenix Wing friends surrounded her any longer. A groan issued from the dusty woman, just now realizing that in some dastardly daydream she'd totally wandered away from the group. Another quick glance ascertained her towering goal in the distance: the arena, on top of that miniature mountain that allowed it to loom over the city like a castle in the sky.

Fleo began walking toward it. Behind her, there came a muffled growl. ”Ignore me, will you? No...don't go away! I'm here, damn it, look at me!” The voice turned to despair, but at that moment, the hidden form of Black Death materialized again. Unable to bear the thought of his own target forgetting about him, the cursed assassin lunged forward, thrusting a knife at the back of Fleo's knee to sever the artery there and stain the pavement with her blood. ”You're not going anywhere! I want you to see my face before you die!”

Startled, the dusty woman started to turn, but too late. The rigid steel blade pushed through her skirt, the bandages, and the leg beneath, sliding through with zero resistance and sprouting from the kneecap. Fleo stumbled, but Black Death, aghast, barely noticed. His fingers slid from the weapon, leaving it embedded in Fleo's knee, and watched her turn around without crying in pain. ”What? You...you can't ignore that! That's impossible!” Teeth gritted, he lunged forward, aiming his second knife for his target's ribcage.

A panicked cry issued from Fleo, stirring the dust around her, and before the dagger could find a new home among her organs a shell of dust coagulated around her, too dense to be penetrated by ordinary blades. Black Death's attack glanced off the hard-packed surface, and he found only enough time to fume his disbelief before the dust coating exploded, throwing him back. Before he hit the ground, he vanished, and when the dust cloud cleared Fleo stood alone, hyperventilating and clueless.

Black Death smiled grimly. Though he hated the dark magic that afflicted him, he could not deny its usefulness. Whenever he disappeared into shadow, he could make people's memories of him disappear, too. The rub came in that he could not vanish voluntarily, and when he did -oftentimes unintentionally- he sometimes caused people to forget him when he didn't want it. Truth to be told, nothing made him sadder than that curse. That, however, was a story for another time. He stood up at his leisure, watching Fleo look around in utter bemusement, unable to recall what or why she defended herself. Slowly, as if drunk and not quite sure where to go, she turned around to leave, her dust settled into orbs littering the ground. Immediately, Black Death charged forward. ”This is it! My chance to make someone remember me forever!”

In his haste to stab his knife into the dusty woman's back, he bulled straight through a cluster of dustballs on the ground. The next second, all he could see was grayish brown, all he could hear was a steady ringing, and all he could feel was the rush of air as he flew through the air, until he hit the ground with a crunch. He reappeared, gasping and clutching his broken shoulder, and Fleo knelt down beside him. Black Death, though he knew not how it went down, knew at least that he had been soundly defeated. He glared at Fleo, his sunken, malnourished features barely more angry than sorrowful. ”How...how'd you do it? Nobody remembers me when I disappear! It sucks most of the time, but I thought I had you...how?”

Fleo looked down, and Black Death followed her gaze before groaning when he saw the knife still jammed through her knee. With the bandages cut, the whole area looked far more like dust than flesh, and not a drop of blood could be seen. ”I didn't remember you, and I don't really feel pain in these limbs, but I figured someone must be trying to hurt me.”

”Just my luck! You're some kind of sand wizard. And you used your magic to blow up the sand I spilled! Don't think this is over. I knew that even if I failed you, a light mage, wouldn't be able to kill me. My name's Black Death, and I'm gonna snuff out your...light?”

Fleo had stood up and strolled away. The weapon stuck in her leg lay on the ground, fallen there by chance. As she left, Black Death got a good look at her face, and uttered a hopeless sob: it was as if he'd never existed.

Cormorant Sanders – Frenzy Plant Camp

@Caits

When the voice of Gabriel reached him, Sanders slowed down to listen. Though the boy felt as though he were ignored, in reality Frenzy Plant's general watched him constantly, and worried about him. In fact, among all of the new arrivals, Sanders observed him the most. Inwardly he dreaded that Gabriel not only didn't belong in the warrior guild, but also knew it and persevered anyway. From his observation, Sanders recognized a faulty sort of mindset, which alone didn't throw him off; Frenzy Plant lived and breathed the notions of fault and flaw, and in its motto asserted unconditionally that its members never stopped growing stronger. Unfortunately, Sanders suspected that Gabriel's particular fault came not from a lack of principles, but from an an excess of them—principles that lay at odds with those that Frenzy Plant held dear. From the first day, when Gabriel refused to use his Spirits to fight and attacked the guild's best soldier out of temper, Sanders had worried.

Could Gabriel march with discipline, honor, and respect with the others, or would he march always to his own tune? Was he capable of allowing another will to rule over him?

When the time came, could he perform that terrible but necessary act inherent to all soldiers?

For now, however, Sanders listened. After he listened, he spoke, betraying none of his thoughts. ”Very well...but briefly consider the tradeoff. Are you going because you doubt in the abilities of your comrades? Are you aware that the Games are perhaps the best way to become familiar with new magic and fighting styles, and to learn from them? When you arrive at camp, please find Thor, and invite her to join us at the Doma Flau. She is, after all, part of the official team in Hyun's absence. Dismissed.”

X – Wheel of Fortune

@Burthstone

After Grant's questioning, Wheel of Fortune grew deadpan. Remarkably, her allure and friendliness drained away at top speed when seriousness settled over her. Solemnity did not become Lockheart, particularly in the fitful and unflattering light available in the cellar of a dark guild's temporary home, but once it became obvious that this uncouth Vale would not be infatuated with her charms she needed not waste them on him. With an air of resolute defiance the crossed her arms. At length, she replied, “I know exactly the perpetrators of our misery. You give off the impression that you could back up your claims easily, but you're not the one we hate. It is the Guild Master of Iron Enigma, and he is not responsible for murder. He's responsible for much more: condemnation. What is worse? To die a human, or to live forever as a monster? Not a beast in human flesh, as I imagine many of you are, but a true monster inside and out.”

Lockheart then looked at herself, the cephalopod skin and tentacles, extra eyes and shell-hat. Though her lips worked an elaborate and immaculate lie, her gaze held traces of genuine disgust. Even if she'd truly accepted herself as Number Ten, Wheel of Fortune, she had yet to embrace it even in her heart of hearts.

Her eyes returned to Grant. “We don't care about the games. And we don't hold Gregory accountable to the laws of men. You see, he allowed us to be condemned without knowing all that it entailed. We want him to know, and to understand what became of his actions.”

Hyun Sasithom – Frenzy Plant Stands

@Zarkun

The third day of the Grand Magic Games marked the first time since her defeat on day one that Frenzy Plant's legendary swordswoman appeared at the Doma Flau. Hyun, with an eerie yellow color in her eyes but no sign of any weapon, filtered into the colosseum along with the rest of her guild. Her face broadcasted no special emotion, be it anger, sadness, anticipation, or interest. Instead, she seemed oddly at peace. Sitting with her comrades, she commenced the long wait for the day's first activity to begin without worry, for Thor would be filling her spot on her guild's roster for the day.

She did, however, look with notable frequency across the arena to where Frenzy Plant sat, looking for a face ingrained upon her memory. Without much guessing, it could be inferred that for some interminable reason, Hyun watched for the Blade of Phoenix Wing, Damian.

And my mentor...well, let us just say she was the most powerful mage I have ever met, inculuding you." He smiled slightly, remembering. "Anyways, my magic is Aether magic. Which is strange, really, as it would mean 'magic magic'. Its greatest power is Enhancement and I got to thinking, what if one combined that aspect of my magic with your time magic? It could cause one to be able to travel through time itself." He chuckled, "It is merely a fantasy, as going to the past or far into the future would be too much power for anyone and has the potential to go bad in many differant ways." He suddenly grew somber. "And there are some things, that not even magic can fix." Ferrin fell silent, not giving an explination for his statement.

Valak simply gave Mithera a slow nod. Anyone else might have a dozen differnt questions, but Valak saw them as unnecessary and did not say anything. He requiped a sheath and belted his sword on so it would easily be at hand. He walked out of them room and made his way to the market place.

James Hunt|Phoenix Wing Hotel

James smiled and nodded. "It was my honor to help you join the guild. Now as for the blade and swordsmanship..." Leading the way to the hotel courtyard after assuring the manager it would be sword play only, James drew his own sword and shield. "The best way for you to learn is by doing. I want you to come at me with everything you have."

@Zarkun
Cody nodded as he attached the scabbard to a clip on his belt, removing the string as he did, before drawing the blade in a rather sloppy manner. The blade was a dark silver colour and was covered in all manner of glowing runes, each rune being a different colour of the rainbow.
He stood there with a rather too firm grip before swinging like a madman, bringing the sword above his head before bringing it down on James. The attack was full of openings.

Penny
@AdamantiumWolf@zarkun

"it's fine, I just never thought to have a fan"
Penny said, mildly embarrassed at that, confused as to why anyone would be a fan. "Ah, no, no you haven't missed much, just a couple of days." Penny wasn't too sure what to do with this girl. "What is your magic?" She asked, suddenly interested Maybe the girl was the other Phoenix Slayer in the city. But no, Penny had sensed that magic during a fight. Perhaps it was just similarities in the fire magic Penny also possessed. She glanced to Damian, as if he could tell her what she was meant to do with a fan. "Ah, this is Damian, also of Phoenix Wing"

Did she ever think that she would be here, in Crocus, watching the games, apart of a guild when she'd been hiding in that cupboard? Never, and now there was a fan. Penny didn't know what to do, and the attention was just enough to make her embarrassed. "Ah, are you planning on joining the guild?"

Sasha
@CirusArvennicus

sasha seemed a little shocked at the question and tried to remember. "Ah, well. I'm not too sure. Edo-trinity did seem overly friendly, and did, uh, well. Um. I suppose its possible. You didn't just pull these questions out of a hat, trinity. What is it?" She asked softly

Gabriel
@lugubrious

Gabriel managed, just, not to completely blow it. "I have no doubt in my comrades abilities. If I did, I wouldn't have left the camp. I don't know if you have noticed, Sir, but I don't do well when I have nothing to do. Sitting here cheering is all very well and good, but it isn't a task. It isn't something I can just simply do." Gabriel shook his head, wondering why he even bothered.

"You might not think it, but I already know a lot of magical styles and types. When you travel, you pick up on things. One of those mystic beasts, I've faced him, it, whatever before. He seems to hold a grudge and perhaps fears that we will take his card away, and then he will have no will. He probably won't come back, but we have the lovers, so he might come back to save them. You think you know them, know how to fight them, but both times I've interacted with them, they have proved unpredictable, and only my spirit's free will has stopped them enough to either make them run, or to enable us to capture them. Both times the Hanged man fled. He's a coward at heart, but he's dangerous. If he's around here somewhere, Dog will scent him out. I can't just sit here thinking on that, thinking that somewhere, he could be doing damage, and this time, someone might not stop him."
Gabriel sighed, feeling like he had to explain himself too hard, that...that it should simply be obvious. That he didn't need to be questioned. He sighed again, "I know I don't really fit. I don't have discipline, and frankly, I probably never will. I don't like people trying to hurt others, and I don't like people questioning that I'd doubt those I work with. That includes you, Sir. But I also know that the person who doesn't change is the person who shatters, the person who gets left behind. Perhaps you should think on that, with all due respect Sir" Figuring he had spoken enough, Gabriel turned, and jumped down the stairs two at a time, summoning Dog as he reached the bottom, shoving his hands in his pockets as he walked with his spirit, back to camp. But before he had gone too far, he stopped, hesitated and turned.

"I want to go for B Class. I will get it"

And then he was gone, leaving the stands.

Time Lord
@Crimson Raven

Time lord just chuckled, and smiled an almost sly smile. "I'm young, yet, Ferrin." Time Lord set his tings down, and leaned in close, "It's not fantasy. it's been done. I've done it. Oh, not alone, because that would have killed me. As I said, Time is fluid. You just have to find the right...wave, and the past is easier to get to then the future"

He leaned back, and appeared somber once more. "I was six when I first time jumped. Just a few seconds. I thought I was going crazy. Nothing is impossible"

Iron Enigma Hotel Basement -- Grant Vale
Grant grinned as he watched the Mystic Beasts' antics. He seemed to be enjoying, almost reveling in, their hatred, uncaring it was directed towards his father. Glancing at back Solux as she spoke of living as a monster forever, it seemed as if his grin was sowed permanently onto his face. Once Lockheart finished explaining her wish to bring pain to his father, a plan began forming in Grant's mind, and he looked over the two with renewed vision. "Deyja, mind taking Solux out with you as you go tell whomever is in the Lacrima room to take an hour off, at my request." He would wait for his two guild mates to leave, and give them a minute or so before looking back at Lockheart, his eyes gleaming with sinister glee. "So, how well we get alone from here on out depends entirely on how flexible your plan is, and if you're willing to help me. I'm not at all adverse to helping you, so long as you help me as well." He'd move back and lean against the corner of the wall between the hallway and the room that made up most of the basement. "You see, I am planning on killing my sister, which is something you two look like you could definitely provide assistance with at a rapidly approaching date." The look Grant had suggested they might not have a lot of choice in the matter if they really want to get to his father.

@Lugubrious
Mithera -- Hotel Room
As Valek left the hotel Mithera was in, he would have to have been a fool not to feel the eyes following him through the city no matter where he went, though no one disturbed him. It seemed that Iron Enigma had an extensive network, even in Crocus.

Back at the Hotel, Mithera bathed herself yet again in the sink of a hotel, though this time she didn't feel nearly as clean as she climbed out. She decided drip-drying was more preferable, and she climbed back onto the bed she had slept on the night before. She crawled under the blankets and lay flat on her stomach, hoping that if someone broke into the room to try and get her wouldn't immediately notice the tiny dragon hiding under the blankets like a coward while she waited for Valak to return with food. Lucky for her, she didn't really have anything to worry about, as Iron Enigma had no intention of retrieving her as long as she didn't leave town.

James Hunt|Phoenix Wing Hotel

James would normally have caught the blade with his shield and come back with his sword, but he was training the lad, so instead he caught the overhead swing on his sword and redirected it to the left, pivoting on his left foot and slamming his shield into Cody's side. "Rule one of swordsmanship, never put everything into an easily deflected attack. Parries, thrusts, slashs, there's a time and a place for each one, but your most important is the parry and the block." Taking another ready stance, he prepares to move on Cody. "When I attack, I want you to block my sword with your own. This is key in learning how to use swordplay well. Or, if you don't feel comfortable blocking straight on, than parry. A parry redirects the enemies weapon without you having to put too much strength into it, a great trick against physically stronger opponents."

Damian Gerard|Grand Magic Games Stadium

Damian glanced over and nodded at the girl, already catching what Penny was looking for. "Pleasure to meet you, miss. Penny, why don't you guys head somewhere a little quieter and talk about your magic? Maybe fill her in on what she's missed of the games."
