Sasha flinched at the harsh tone, as if she had been hit. She sat there stiffly as he he spoke, before taking off, refusing to react, even as the harsh manner ripped through her.
What was she meant to think now, after everything?
it was like something punched her in the heart, and she managed to maintain composure, just. Something was wrong, something was up, and Lazarus didn't trust her enough to tell her.
She shuddered, the only reaction, and rose, deciding she didn't want to be there right then, and unhurriedly made her way out of the stadium.

How could gabirel explain the dynamics of the guild, when he didn't understand it entirely himself? "I...I don't do well, articulating what i want to say, or do...and they have a solider mentality. Do you know, the only soldiers I've known have been the ones with whips who enjoyed entirely too much using them. And mistreating the slaves in other ways" he said softly, trailing off as he finished, not particularly wishing to think on such things.
But Ariel seemed to be having her own problems, maintaining her magic. Gabriel hesitated, before saying "Have you tried using a focusing object? Maybe something with just a little bit of the magic you want in it, like a jewel? Something that won't over power you, but that can help to enable you to focus?" He asked, willing to help Ariel
Angelo vs Jackie part two
The second the judge called out for the battle to begin Angelo went to work he again applied an electrical current to his feet and hovered in the air. this method of moving was what Angelo prefer to call "shoe gliding" for obvious reasons and this method was also faster then just regular running and didn't take a lot of his magical energy to maintain. Once Angelo got into striking distance he jumped high and decided to go with an overhead kick at the current height he was able to reach he would make her regret it if she didn't dodge the blow cause it would at the very least cause her pain on the impact...
Jack(ie) watched Angelo, her expression not changing in the slightest as the lightning mage began hovering in the air. She honestly thought he was being an idiot. Even if the spell cost little magical energy, it was still taking some and would add up over time. Still, to each their own and this guy seemed to not care. When he finally went on the offensive with an overhead kick, her mind quickly jumped into analyzing the situation. Taking it was out of the question. From his height, that was likely to leave a mark she couldn't afford to have. Blocking wasn't much better and he could always try to shock her then. Dodging was best, but she would have to over dodge incase he decided to cause a small explosion to add force to his kick.
So with that being processed, she rolled out of the way and put some distance between them, before observing him again, trying to figure out what his fighting style might be.
Angelo grinned as he landed knowing she would dodge however it seemed that her expression didn't change during the entire moment which meant that her eyes were watching him and trying to analyze him. Obviously this girl was planning on studying him before deciding on a perfect strategy to attack him with. Angelo then thought that he should start doing things unexpectedly to throw her off, the biggest thing for people that try to over analyze a situation is to be duped by something so simple. Angelo then held his right hand up and the other hand was behind his back as he started to simply walk to her with a smile. It was a smile that one would give if he was just strolling down the street without a care in the world.
Angelo simply walked and did nothing else but get closer to her. If she decided to attack him then his other hand would have a lightning bolt ready to strike her with and if she tried to dodge again Angelo could easily close the distance and still hit her with a lightning bolt. Do the unexpected and your opponent wont know what hit them...
Jack was surprised when Angelo suddenly smiled and began casually walking towards her. She could only to roll her eyes at this. Standard assassination 101. Look harmless and approach the target while holding back ones blood lust. Get close and let ones blood lust loose, startling the target as they realize exactly how dead they are. Go in for the kill.
"Really, if you're going to do something I've done to others about a hundred times, you might as well give up." She said, her tone as bored as she looked."First a standard overhead kick, now assassination 101. Honestly, you might bore me and I'll forfeit the to spare everyone else the same feeling."
oh but madam im am only trying to get you to be serious otherwise this fight isn't very good. I've been waiting to fight in the arena but my first opponent is only analyzing me. If you expecting me to waste my energy just trying to attack you then you must be the stupid one. One does not reveal their hand so readily in the first moments. So unless you get serious im just going to toy with you like this Angelo said with a laugh before he got a few feet closer then he got rid of his mask and grinned as he pulled out his hand from behind his back lightning magic: lightning salvo! and with that command he threw one bolt at her then two then 3 despite how quickly he threw those again they didn't cost him much energy since he didn't put a lot of power into it at best it would only stun her if they hit but he wanted her to pull out all the stops otherwise he would have been excited for nothing...
Jack simply smirked at Angelo's words, realizing he was simply trying to turn her own words against her to try and anger her. However, all he had done was reveal a weakness of his own to her and she could only find that to be mildly amusing. As he advances, she backed off, knowing full well that he was simply trying to close the distance to attack still. When his attack did come, she had to react fast. Though not as fast as natural lightning, lightning magic was still very fast and not to mention one of the most powerful elemental magics. While she managed to dodge most of the bolts, one managed to hit her in the right arm and she quickly put more distance between herself and Angelo before testing her arm. It seemed fine but too many hits and she could find it slower to react or paralyzed.
Sighing, mist began covering the arena, forming a thick blanket around their feet, though there was a clear space around Jack, preventing Angelo from taking complete advantage of the water vapor.
smart move vapor vs lightning wont end well otherwise Angelo said taking a stance ready to fight for real but Angelo also had the idea that he had just for this kind of situation. just in case he ever found himself against a mage that could use the entire battlefield to their advantage Angelo had to come up with a plan to counter it but unfortunately it took time to execute and he needed to set up the field first. Angelo then took a lightning bolt into his hand and threw it straight at her half hoping it would miss otherwise it would end to soon. This one had more power then his first lightning attack and if it went through then she could be twitching uncontrollably for a few moments that would allow Angelo to close the distance and force her to yield...
"Idiot." Jack muttered to herself as a wall of mist rose up and blocked the bolt. Mist being made of water, some of the electricity moved through the mist and around the field. Jack wasn't foolish though and took advantage of the field. Using Mist-Make she created to make a chain made of mist within the mist covered ground. Using her Mist magic, she manipulated it to slither along the ground and wrap around Angelo's leg and anchor him.
