Michael watched it all with slight fear that it would become an all out battle, but it seemed to stop short of that. "I'd hate to come across Master Jamie in battle. If her words can cut like that, what would he magic do? Jeez, her glare looks like it could kill" He said softly under his breath, in case the Phoenix Wing Master heard.

"People don't seem to understand that we all have faults...sometimes we need to take a hard knock, a hard lesson to learn something. " Michael hesitated, "do you think Uriel would be able to help Jackie? he's stronger then a normal healer"

Jamie gave a heavy sigh, watching Angelo go. She glanced towards the Riders Blade members, narrowing her eyes once more. "Leave my guild alone" Riding on fury, Jamie stormed through the stands, not particularly caring, right to where Shujin was speaking with Jack.

"You just like to make things worse, don't you Shujin? You jump to conclusions, you create grudges quickly, but you don't see your own faults, mistakes. Angelo has been dealt with, and I will continue to deal with. He isn't your problem. You have made things hard for my guild since you appeared, and I'm tired of you watching one of my members like they are about to mass murder everyone.

The only way there will be a guild war is if you hype things up, because you can't see beyond the basic scope.

Angelo made a mistake, he doesn't deserve to be judged by you. You are no ones judge, jury and exercutioner, so get off your high horse. You say you have been watching my guild. Perchance did you notice us stop a dark mage, dark mages from destroying the council, destroying magic once again? have you seen my guild put a stop to a few dark guilds? Have you seen anything beyond your own prejudice? No, because as far as you are concerned we harbor dark wizards and promote fighting, killing and destruction. I won't have it anymore.

As for you Jack, you could stand to learn something from your members. I just stumbled across two of them welcoming Angelo, not judging him for what he did. If they can do it, why can't you? We are meant to set an example, and yet your grudge is not setting the right example. If you can't see that...then I don't know what to tell you.

Amelia has agreed to dinner, although I am reluctant to go. Angelo would like to apologise to Jackie, but if you are too stubborn to allow that, I'll go to the girl myself and ask if she will see him."

I have reached my limit with irrational speeches and accusations. War between guilds has been illegal since the time of Fairy Tail. I am not going to initiate a guild war over this, because she is alive. We will discuss this further after today's events have concluded, so don't bring it up again." No sooner had Jack finished talking than Jamie stormed over and laid into Shujin, which Jack did not stop. Perhaps both guild masters confronting him about it would finally make him rethink his approach on life.

However, when Jamie began to yell at him, he stopped her with a raised hand as well. "Jamie, now is neither the time nor the place for such a discussion. To assume I have a grudge is to throw everything you know about me out the window, but that is besides the point. Jackie is in no condition to speak with anyone right now, she's in an induced coma. She didn't even respond to myself or Fraquar talking to her. When she awakes, it falls to her whether or not to allow him to speak with her, as I will not stop him from apologizing. I would appreciate it if you came to dinner, because I think it's time you were made aware of some statistics that I came across about a week before the games."

Damian sighed and shook his head. There was no reason to be overly afraid of Master Jamie, but it would take time to find her either way. "Fine, we won't go to Master Jamie, but I still need to punish you somehow. And, since I don't know many other forms of such, you and I are going to have three hours of Physical Training, and you're going to have SO much fun with it." A slightly creepy note crept into Damian's voice near the end and if Marlene looked at him, she would practically be able to see the gear's turning.

Mayt nodded to Jayce when Cody introduced them. "I hope to get to work with you too." He said in reply. It wasn't long then until James arrived, and Mayt turned to face him. "Hey, it's fine. I got held up as well. I've only just got here." He'd say, sighing slightly to himself as he turned to face Jayce and Cody again. He let the others greet each other, and Cody asked a question, before immediately excusing himself. Mayt furrowed his brow. Did he have some secret magic that made everyone around him want to get the hell away from him? Or was it just coincidence that everyone seemed to just run off whenever he got there. He gave a somewhat confused look towards James, before just sighing and shrugging, moving into a more comfortable posture and looking at the two people still here, wondering what was to be done next. He ultimately kinda-of left it to James.

Cyare Staunton: Within the City

She would never understand how people found city life attractive. Cramped, crowded, and clustered around a dozen different mercantilist hubs. They were fascinating to observe, and her eyes didn’t miss a single detail. Everything her senses told her painted the broad, clear picture of her world. And her world was… Lackluster. No matter how long she spent with a city’s walls, any city, she couldn’t understand why one would prefer to live there. Visit, certainly. A city provided job opportunities like no other locale could, boasting a concentration of human life, and with it, human problems. And for Cyare, problems were business.

Now, though, she was just bored. Rei was prattling on about something, but she wasn’t listening. Most of what he said was useless posturing. Useful when matters became combative, but almost more irritating than he was worth. Speed this, speed that, a smarmy jackass comment here, a smarmy jackass comment there. Still, he wasn’t the worst company. You could get a decent conversation out of him every now and again with enough effort, and between the two of them work was quick and easy. She could do most of the jobs alone but not nearly as efficiently. But right now, that efficiency was the problem. There wasn’t an active job. They were in the city to find one, because they had finished all their standing contracts.

Apparently there was a tournament in progress. Rei had expressed some interest in looking into it, but the Tactical Mage wasn’t interested. Watching a bunch of Magicians fight each other wasn’t exactly fascinating. Decent reconnaissance, but not worth the amount of self-important foolishness she’d have to sit through for that knowledge. She had enough of that two steps to her right.

So without a job, and without entertainment, she really had one question.

Haha, let's kick things off shall we. Name's Rei, Hiwatari Rei. Surname before the given, y'know, the proper order. We're about to embark upon a journey in which wonderful me will serve as the eyes and the ears. I mean you could just follow Cyare's perspective, but I think you'll find mine a lot more fun.

So where does story begin you ask?

Cyare and I had arrived in the wonderful city of Crocus where the Grand Magic Games were being held. I have to tell you, I really love cities. Like I've been trying to explain to Cyare. "Cities have that human energy to them. There really isn't anything like it. That hustle and bustle, the ever persistent movement screams of the human desire for progress. The desire to speed ahead. Kid, human cities are like the heartbeat of society, the bustle proves that we're alive."

Of course the kid was totally ignoring me. Dork had a habit of doing that, but hey I didn't travel with her because she was a natural foil for my wonderful conversations. I traveled with her 'cause it was kind of amusing watching the kid parade around with her whole defender of justice schtick. It's like watching a dog chase after a car, y'know the dog can't catch it and even if it did what would be the point, but damn, you just kind of end up rooting for the dog. Well unless you were in the car, in which case screw the damn dog it was making a racket.

Where was I?

Right, cities.

"And I mean they also have the added bonus of being filled with punks, some of which are bratty enough to pick a fight with others. That's always entertaining," I sighed, Cyare still wasn't paying attention, too busy trying to find a job board. "Have you tried the center of town dimwit, that's generally where job boards are posted. I swear you're helpless without me. And stop looking so bored, have you even seen the Grand Magic Games before?"

I swear, absolutely helpless and clueless without me.

Ayame

The eye patched woman began talking once more but this time towards the rainbow colored hair woman. She said that she wasn't cute at all, she wasn't cute at all but she had other traits about her that were likeable. You didn't have to be cute to be something special. But when eyepatch started about Ayame being cute, Ayame her head shot up as she looked up at eyepatch. Ayame her head turned red speechless and flattered at the same time. She pressed the two of her index fingers together in front of her chest as her gaze slowly turned towards the ground. She was smiling a little but thought that it was bad to smile about something so selfish.

From the conversation between the two of them she could suspect that the eyepatch wasn't completely innocent from the rainbow her point of view. Eyepatch began talking about how cute she would look in a dress but Ayame instinctively stepped back with her hands shielding a little part of her "I-i don't w-w-want dresssses!" The other lady continued and introduced herself in the progress. A shiver was sent down Ayame her spine as she heard about the woman her rank "M-magic council!!" Ayame shivered and stepped another two steps back. She had never met someone so high and mighty as this before. It made her feel miserable to know that someone so powerful was standing right before her feet. What if she did something wrong and the woman would punish her. Somehow Ayame felt like bowing towards the woman but maybe that was the right move and didn't feel anything special at all. Despites everything she still acted rather normal towards the two of them and went shopping with the both of them. Ayame knew she couldn't escape something like this from the two woman and shyly walked along sides them still cautioned of both of them.

Prince hummed and gave a soft sigh with a wide smile and shrugged a little. "Geez, even during a supposed to be a friendly competition, tensions are high. Wouldn't be surprised if the Normies were scared by all this wizard hussle and bussle instead of impressed." he mused before huggling the blue haired wizard with a loud purr. "Awe don't worry Mikey, JJ is too soft to do any real damage. You just may get knocked out on your face if you get on her bad side." he hummed cheerfully before releasing Michael and stretching out his tall body.

"Doesn't hurt to try eh? Plus I need to head over there anyway to make sure she's fine. I am the medic." Prince purred before grabbing Michael's hand, intertwining their fingers, though was careful not to pierce skin with his sharp claws and headed to the infirmary.

"You heard the girl, supposedly it is Chimera magic. Maybe even transform into the legendary Chimera."

"Not when everybody else might have that magic. And there will be no world domination. Now shut up."

Karn sighed softly as the mental conversations continued, and it was sad she was just starting to accept them as something to talk to. Then again, it was just easy to talk to yourself, even if they are annoying figments of people. She felt her stomach grumble and she growled irritably at this bodies need for resource. Can he not go two hours without eating or something?!

Cody slowly straightened himself up while trying his best to keep his flustered face hidden from view. He wasn't quite used to interacting with people at this stage....yet he had interacted with Mayt, James and Jayce perfectly fine. Huh.
"Pretty obvious....we're in the Phoenix Wing hotel..." Cody joked nervously. He hadn't really thought about her being a wizard but it made sense since they were at the Phoenix Wing guild hotel. So of course it would be safe to assume that he was a Phoenix Wing mage as well...but just to make sure..
"Also a Phoenix Wing wizard...nice to meet you." Cody felt like mentally slapping himself here. He was making himself look like a royal idiot here, first impressions are important. Then maybe he should also stop hiding behind his hood? She might think he was some sort of weirdo or pervert.
Then again he didn't want to show his tomato red face. He was in a crisis here.
His bright, piercing green eyes seemed to be drawn to her own icy blue for some reason...he had to will himself not to stare.

Angelo sighed softly as Josh told him he needed to apologize, Angelo has no problem doing that but groveling? Groveling wont happen Angelo will admit to his mistake but groveling and begging for forgiveness just wasn't in Angelo's character to do. Angelo soon stood up took a big breath and smiled so that he would be back into his old spirit. Angelo smiled down at mark as he went and got the both of them some bread to eat from a nearby café. When they had something in their stomachs Angelo then went to whatever passed for a library around here and when he got their he asked the clerk for medical books. Angelo took a few reference books and magazines and Angelo started to read through them. Angelo needed to learn to put as much energy into small doses as he could.

Angelo has realized that his abilities used the way that he has been doing is to much for any human body mage or no but if he could try to concentrate it directly into a body then he could simply paralyze them by using their own nerves against them. The body was filled with electrical impulses from the brain and nerve ending and if Angelo could learn to use his energy to hit those nerves he could temporarily stop his opponent in his tracks before the fight went to far. Now Angelo had to get to learning....

Malice Hardt

Malice was still more entertained by her adorable friend than the annoying hag, yet she seemed really determined to not wear any dresses. This made Malice frown a bit as she poked her friends cheek. "Awwww but why? You have the perfect body for them." Malice said trying to get the girl more comfortable with herself while the mean old lady introduced herself along with her rank, stating she didn't like her attitude towards someone with her rank. Malice just stared at her even as she said her name and stuck her tongue out at her. "You could be the top dog of the Wizard saints and I would still not give a fuck. I'm not one to care for ranks, except if Im battling someone in which case, then yeah ranks are important too know." Malice said referencing her total defeat at Indigo's hands.

Meanwhile Malice kept to her new best friends side than the mean old lady's, yet soon Malice would lead them to a really expensive clothing shop, where the prices would make any married man scream in fear. "Good thing my Guild Master loves me enough to let me do this." Malice said humming in excitement, as she dragged Ayame and reluctantly Sayatchi off to their shopping heaven.

Instead of waiting for the old man to come back and watch over her test. The woman named Indigo gave her the rules and had this one woman archer be her match up. Yet apparently these things had some rules, if she won she got her rank yet flunked if she took it seriously. That was all swell and fine yet it was the no property damage that made her pause. She liked to do things big and that would certainly result in property damage. That meant she had to save her energy instead of blowing it all in big bursts. Well this might be no fun at all. So when the archer lady started the match, Riona closed her eyes in which to hide them flashing orange and would open them to see the arrow flying at her. Yet as it flew towards her, her power would just instantly start going up in which Riona would end up expending for a big burst yet since she couldn't do that, she had to op for something else. Riona's hands started to radiate her energy which would look like her hands were on fire, she tilted her body so the arrow would zip by her side, cutting her jacket slightly.

Riona wanted to hurl a torrent at her but grumbled and tapped her head to think of something small she could do. Meanwhile it might have started looking a bit suspicious when the amount of energy she was gathering started to accumulate to the point static formed around her a bit. Sure she was giving the woman plenty of time, but she never fought to not destroy anything before. Well guess close range it was then, so Riona took off running at the woman cracking the ground from how hard she was pushing off. Expending a bit of her energy to help with that, and when she got close a hammer of energy would form in her hands in which she would swing at the Archer lady.

Gamble jumped a bit and looked to his side to see a woman, who was giving him advice on the recent events of the guild instead of just her history with the guild. This was a switch up which he approved of, although most big guilds like Phoenix Wing probably dealt with dark guilds almost daily. So it seemed to be a common thing, although he heard about their fight with the council and the lightning mage didn't make anything easier. He smiled and nodded at the woman who then introduced herself as Rose. He had a surprised look, yet that faded as he nodded. "I am called Gamble, its nice to meet you Rose. Although I hope you dont mind me asking this, but could you tell me your opinion on Phoenix Wing? You don't have to if you don't wish too."

Zephyr Hardt

Well he certainly had a productive day, he ended up helping Carrie who was a council member who went to hunt down those twins. He learned a lot more than a normal person should on a first meeting, and now he felt like he was babysitting the definition of stubbornness. Yet it was her choice to be this way not his. Besides he ended up getting distracted when he watched the fight with Angelo and Jackie, where Angelo practically almost killed her. It ended in a draw but Jackie was so badly hurt from it that Zephyr stopped walking and just watched the screen. This would no doubt create some tension between the two guilds. Zephyr finally looked back at Carrie and sighed. "Guess I can't complain about you taking it easy now huh? You guys are probably going to have your work cut out for you." Zephyr said although his face wasn't an annoyed one but a more sad looking one. He still didn't apologize to Jackie and for this to happen now.

An internal sigh came from Sayatachi's mind. This was to be expected of course. Yet it seems that Ayame happens to be slightly scared or in awe of her. That's the second person she found to be behaved. As the little girl took a few steps back, Sayatachi only chuckles as she goes down onto one knee and gently caressed her cheek.

"Awwww," she says gently at Ayame, "Don't be afraid love. It's alright, you don't have to be frightened by me."

She then gets back up on her feet and looks at Malice.

"Trust me." she answers, "You wouldn't want to battle me. And if you do, let's just say you'd be regretting the day you were ever born."

Alas they then calmed down and went shopping, with their first stop being a really expensive clothing shop.

"Good thing my Guild Master loves me enough to let me do this." Malice said humming in excitement, as she dragged Ayame and reluctantly Sayatchi off to their shopping heaven.

By the time they got to the mall, Rainbow Majesty looks around as if it was just another day for a regular shopper. She was wealthy after all, so technically she can buy just about anything she wanted. There were red long sweetheart dresses, her favorite long beaded dresses which happen to come in gold and silver outlines, and extravagant ball room dresses. Then she happens to have an idea.

"Malice dear." she then asks, "What kind of clothes do you want? Perhaps I can buy the both of you a dress or two..."

The council is always busy, watching and interfering with dark guilds, making sure light guilds haven't turned dark, maintaining order, preventing mass chaos. She'll live, Zephyr. Jamie shook her head, "Statistics don't mean anything, Jack, but I am generally aware of them all, but we shall see ii there's anything new" Leaving it at that, Jamie left, not particularly interested in anything Shujn had to say.

"I have to go speak with Fraquar" And wouldn't that be fun? Jamie thought, but the way she was feeling at the moment, she would make sure it went her way.

Without waiting for anything else, Jamie hunted up the Riders blade guild master.

Anya grinned to herself as Nero conversed with Angela and the rest, thinking of a devious plan. The question about asking for more wishes is what sparked said plan. Why ask for more wishes when one could ask for them to be their own personal genie until the day they died? And even better, Anya was immortal so long as no one killed her. And she was fully convinced this man was a real genie, and in turn he was immortal as well. She could have whatever she wanted whenever she wanted. After Nero finally finished speaking, she spoke up "Well Mister Genie. If you say we can wish for whatever we want and have it granted...I wish for you to be my own personal genie for as long as you live. Like in books and stuff, but a genuine nice genie and not a 'Jerkass Genie' as you and Janna described." She told him seriously, smiling excitedly afterwards.

His cheerful smile never faded as he stepped in, tipping his hat to the nurses with a flirtarious grin, snickering as he was waved away before heading to his destination. Soon arriving to his Guildmate's room, the tall feline walked over before his teal eye looked over the female. Pulling out a purple rose from his sleeve and running it over his unconscious Guildmate. The flower glowed ever so slightly as he examined her injuries.

"Mhmm she did take quite excessive damage. If she was any less powerful in her magical capabilities, she definetly wouldn't be alive. Luckily, it doesn't seem she sustained permenant damage. Can still walk and move about. She won't be exactly getting up for awhile or be able to properly do jobs for a few months though." The red haired feline hummed.

The woman made Ayame even more flustered by her flattering words but Ayame didn't take it well. She defensively hugged her chest as she bend her knees a little so the gap between her upper legs would be closed "P-p-pervert!" She squealed out as her face crunched up. Ayame calmed down and wiped her teary eyes away as her gaze was averted to some nearby wall away from the two. Her expression didn't seem all to happy but it wasn't completely sad.

The rainbow woman sat down onto one of her knees in front of Ayame and tried comforting the girl. Ayame shocked backwards a little but could manage a small smile while her cheeks were still red from just now. The woman was kind and was acting strangly normal for someone with such hair. The rainbow woman stood back up and continued the argument. Why was it always the same. People fighting around her and nothing to be done about it. Last time it didn't end well and if it continued like this they would really start to fight. Well maybe the council woman not. She would have to behave a little to defend her status. Not everyone had to think of something like that.

They entered the shopping area and immediatly the two woman already seemed hypnotised by the dresses that were displayed. Ayame gave a soft sigh and averted her gaze towards other stuff. She didn't want anything to do with these things. It was worse enough to know she was walking around in them by the force of her mom at first. Maybe there was some other clothing that she would like to wear? Well like wasn't an option but wearing was something close to it.

Angel Ferrara

"Was I...fired? Or did I just quit?"

This was a question that Angel Ferrara asked his traveling companion often. In the year that they'd known each other, in their journey south through Ishgar, most tenures with the restaurants that Angel had earned travel money with had ended in a fashion that could only be described as 'chicken-or-egg.' It suited Ferrara just fine. He had never put together much in the way of a resume or even much of a pitch for his services. He just kind of whipped up a soup-and-salad course and a quick entrée after the restaurant closed, and ta-da, they had themselves enough money to travel for a couple weeks. It was even fun more often than not; Angel was more at home cooking at inns than he was as a mage.

Nobody tipped mages for birthday parties. Credit to Kaia for turning him on to those.

Regardless of the method of loss of employment, it was gone - and this job had followed the trend in Fiore of giving the cooks kind of a crappy wage. Since that was the case, there was no point in sticking around to reminisce, so Ferrara was currently leading his blind sous chef to the center of town to find a nice bench and sort out the cash they'd made. When such a seat had been acquired, he gently helped Kaia sit down first - she never needed the assistance, but it was always polite - and sat down after her. Angel breathed quietly through his nose and wrinkled the button-shaped appendage slightly at how much different city air smelled than the familiar pine of a forest.

"So." The cook pulled his hat down over his head, and two handfuls of the long, straight blonde hair that framed his face along with it. "Let's start counting out mone--"

His gaze drifted to the sightless eyes of the dark-skinned girl beside him.

"Oops."

Kaia's stare back was expressionless.

"I'm sorry, okay." His face wrinkled up at his sous chef and he resisted the urge to roll his eyes. "Sometimes I forget."

"What happens next? Well we wait. If you say that you think it works, then we'll wait and see how you feel later. If you suspect that you're forgetting other memories or if the memory that was removed returns, then tell me and we will see what we can do. But I'm glad to hear that everything sounds good so far." She went to a file cabinet and pulled out a folder filled with paper with past reports of previous participates. With a new paper for Lazarus's report, she looked it over and was about to begin writing.

Seeing as Lazarus was still around, she placed her papers back down on the paper and looked at Lazarus. "Seeing as we're done here and the treatment went smoothly. You can return to the Magic Games now if you want. Try to do what you usually do, as if this never happened. This entire treatment was so you can live your life without a thought of that haunted you before. I'll just be here if anything happens." With all that said, she returned her paper work, writing down a report of what happened.
