All Penny knew was the pain of the attack as she tried to protect the most sensitive and important parts of her body, head, stomach, curling inwards to do so. Automatically, her wounds were cauterised by her own flames, preventing any excessive blood lose. It didn't stop the pain, and Penny was more then sure there was something broken. She couldn't do anything about that, but still, she went to move,to rise, to reach her Lacrima. She hoped with all her heart that Trintiy and the annoying Phones weren't nearby. If she had been taken down this easy... Her thoughts were broken, as the man grabbed her, and threw her. She wasn't too sure when she lost consciousness. But she did. The last thing she saw was damian and Mayt. Once more, her wounds were cauterised, but the pain was overwhelming, and That was all Penny knew as the blackness descended. The Lacrima rolled out of her limp fingers. For one heart stopping moment, it seemed like she wasn't breathing. And then there was a gasp, a sob, bruise's already forming on her face, her arms, her legs, her clothes ripped. ---- As the ruin Knights laid at their feets, Jamie let out a breath. "Has it really been that long since we last faught like this?" She asked Jarvis, but once glanced told her something was wrong, as Jarvis had gone pale. "Penny-" "Where?" "Library!" Jamie was already in motion, saying over her shoulder "sorry Melina, looks like you'll have to deal with the others on your own" It had to be bad, Jamie knew that. Had to be, for Jarvis to look like he did. The blade in his hand felt heavy, with the trust of his guide members. The only member of the council that Jamie knew could do something like the hole in the wall was Grand. Fury rose in her, and Jamie shouted "Grand!" Happily Jamie sensed the heavy gravity nearby. And took advantage of it, using property change and flinging it towards the large figure of Grand, as he continued running through the holes in the wall. ----- Sasha had the sense to see that Ted and Tim were indeed out, to ponder a moment as to whether or not to restrain them, but hurriedly went after Lazarus, worried as he seemed to be just a weak. As teu came across ruin Knights, she dealt with them quickly with her bird Bombers, glancing about them.

Mayt growled as she tried to shock him, and he grabbed her her wrist, wrenching it about as hard as he could manage. He turned and started taking heavy steps towards his sword, some of the electricity getting through, but most if it not. He tightened his grip around her neck as he picked up his weapon of choice. He lifts her up as he stabs her completely through the stomach, before throwing her down and as far away as he could before falling to his knee. "Don't... Fucking get up. Or I'll stab you somewhere more... More vital." He coughed heavily, having a bit of trouble getting up. He let his weapon drop to the floor again, rubbing his mouth with his hand to find a bit of blood. He hoped this wouldn't leave him too badly damaged. --- The Rune Knight that was unfortunate enough to attack Melina soon found a knife in his armpit, and then in his neck, and utterly surprised by the agility of the small woman. Melina laughed cruelly as she watched him die, and a couple other Rune Knights came over to deal with her, seeing her as an actual threat now, more coming around the corner in both directions now. Smiling, she bent down to the dying knight, stabbing him through the eye to end him quicker. She rolled her shoulders and stood up. "Blood Queen." She felt the blood of the corpse start to form her armor and scythe. She smiled and moved into a combat stance to deal with the knights, only planning on fighting for just a little bit.

Wes could felt his hand shake for some odd reason,*Is someone messing with his gravity, how?*, he thought to himself. He decided to shift the gravity that wasn't as affecting weird and motion his hand to slam Karn towards the ceiling hoping it would still keep him in stuck in one place. --- As Grane walked into the building and could hear a voice of someone shouting his name. He had his stern expression on his face as he walked. "You should have expected something like to happen guild master when declaring war on the Council." He felt a flow of magic approaching him and he softly said something under his breath. The gravity shift that headed towards him suddenly dispersed instantly before it got to Grane. "It is a fool's quest to cross the path that you did. Your worthless guild was lucky to survive this long when I'm not around, but you guild's existence is over now that I'm here. I suggest that you leave immediately if you don't want to face any more fatal consequences. But I warn you, with what you have done so far, I don't think I can let you escape with even a single member." Grane said as he was close to the library. When he got in through the wall that he broke open with the red hair. He saw rouge wizard might of just beaten Carrie, but a fight with Carrie with her loss must of left the opponent exhausted. Grane made a bolted movement towards as if he used some kind of magic to teleport infront of Mayt. From there, he used the momentum from his dash and his actual immense strength to another drill punch at Mayt. Positive that it would land since the rouge wizard looked exhausted, the rouge should of felt the punch as if it drill though him and sent him flying.

Maddox raised an eyebrow when the Wes before him elected not to release Karn on the grounds that he stole the book. "Well..." he started, continuing to approach Wes. "That presents a problem. We need the book but you feel obliged by your duties to keep us from borrowing it." He stopped at the doorway, next to Sayuri. "This is quite the dilemma." He looked down at Sayuri, before pointing at Karn. "Go get the book from him." His gaze went back up to Wes now and he crossed his arms. "How dedicated to the Council are you?"

Mayt suddenly found a man in front of him as he started to get up, and didn't have enough time to react before he felt himself flying backwards. He let out a soft groan as he landed, sliding across the ground. He looked at the man that had punched him, not recognizing him at all. He made a pained groan as he started to get to his feet, coughing up bits of blood. "Hell..." He managed to push himself to a standing position with use of a bookshelf. He looked over at his weapon on the ground, but decided it wasn't worth charging over to get it. He looked back at the man who had punched him. "W-well played... Whoever you are..." Mayt tenderly put the hand not holding him up on his stomach, panting lightly.

The stranger merely looked over the three then to the large Chimera that Wes slammed up the ceiling. **"Quite impressive. A Northern Chimera would be something to worry about, but it doesn't seem he had quite learned to use the abilities of one. Fortunate for us."** they said, waving their left hand as the black creature's back launched several spikes upwards toward the beast. **"Seems the best way to get it back is to kill him. A pity."** They said, hardly moving as they watched the other two. Karn hissed as the gravity weakened a little, and he tried to move but Wes quickly slammed him up to the ceiling. As the creature made to skewer him again, he managed to roll dodging the attack that went straight through the ceiling. Growling, he head butted the ceiling, his horns digging through. His claws digging upward to create a a whole before slipping up through the ceiling. Pace moving a bit faster. The stranger watched before waving their right hand in such a swift movement, their hand was blurred. Before the word 'Fall' in black letters moved and cracked against Karn's location, causing the beast to crash down and through the floor. Coughing, Karn spat out blood, his jaws filled with his own blood, chest heaving as blood seeped out of his injuries. But he struggled to stand and get out of the whole he created. The black creature hissed before tackling the beast, biting at the throat, Karn growled, shifting into a giant snake and wrapped himself around the black creature. Fangs sinking into the creature who let out a shrill before disappearing. Nothing but a clear orb falling away from where the creature once was. Karn transformed back into a Chimera, his eyes scanning the area.

Carrie hissed out with pain, the knife wound preventing excessive movement, but she laughed painfully as Grand appeared. "The little Wizarda are screwed" she said, managing to push herself into a sitting position ---- It was jarvis that appeared first, crouching over Mayt. "This battle is not for you, Mayt" he said, watching as Jamie practically stalked into the room after Grane. "You disgust me" Jamie said, her voice low, fury radiating in it "we have not aimed to kill even a single member of your corrupt council. And yet you aim to kill, to permenately hurt my members. My family" Jamie's expression was Dark, serious. "Transformation" he said, his appearance seeming to shiver a moment before it changed to a seven foot, well muscled man, the sword in his hand. "Property change" the wind seemed to pick up, even as Jamie stole the gravity change again, funneling as much as he could to the surrounding area of Grane. "You made a mistake there, Grane" The ground seemed to shake briefly, as some far away earthquake was re-directed by Jamie's property change, "leave my members alone!" She roared it, and charged Grane

Jeez, there was a lock of racket coming from everywhere. It was hard to figure out which one to go after, but the crash of a heavy creature nearby caught her attention. She'd lost track of Phones, but that couldn't be helped now, soooo... she should just run around and see what she could do. Maybe she'd run into him that way, anyway? Trinity followed the direction that large crash came from, before she comes up on Karn. "Karn! Damn, you look terrible." She ran up to him and touched his side, holding her bow in her other hand. "Are they still around?" She looked up, at the hole in the ceiling, before she turned her attention again and spotted the crystal orb on the ground. She stooped down to pick it up, though she remained on alert. It could be a trap. Was it magical? "Is this yours? Or should I destroy it?"

He felt weak, and tired, and it hurt. Blood clogged his throat and he felt like he was choking again, drowning... It sent a shiver of fear into his heart at the thought of drowning. Though his long ears perked as he heard footsteps and smelled a familiar scent. Turning his head slowly, he saw Trinity come over to him. Gently touching his bloody side. At the questions, his lion like face slowly nodded pointing his nose up at the hole before he tried to stand and looked to the ball. **"...It was a tool for one of the... Wizards working with the council. Using Transformation magic to make a servant."** he answered, about to smash it with a massive paw but it instantly floated away and back up the whole before the cloaked masked figure peered down at them. **"Sorry kitty, but I can't allow you to escape with the book. You could always just change human and give it up. It would make things easier for you and Phoenix Wing."** they said before brushing their fingers against the orb which then shined brightly before changing into [a large Vulcan sized black creature with glowing red designs and white glowing eyes.](http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/295/9/b/the_black_beast_by_brunolin-d6rgpre.png) It growled and jumped down the hole and landed in front of them. It snarled before roaring at them, the large claws hands raising up before making a swipe at them. Karn growled before ramming his horns against the beasts chest, but made a soft whine as blood red claws dug into his shoulders, ripping at his brown mane.

Wes listened to what Maddox had to say and gave his statement. "The dedication that I feel towards the Council is that of a family. I can't remember the parents, but the Council helped me through rough times that makes me willing to help not just them, but others too. Although, I cannot carry those feelings when I know or feel that someone isn't being trust worthy or blindly accepts things that are told." As he spoke, he felt his gravity strangely fading again and decided to revert the gravity on Karn back to normal. If this guy is more sense able than to take the book like Karn, then they could probably talk. He turned around quickly when he heard a growling sound from where Karn was and saw that he was being attack by someone else. "Looks like we got another issue. We'll probably discuss more once this masked guy is dealt with." Wes said as he directed his line of sight at the masked one. --- As Grane was causally walking towards the rouge wizard that he sent flying to the wall a few seconds ago, he saw the boy have difficulty getting up and saw him look at his katana. So Grane decided to pick the katana up and use it for himself. Then he heard the guild master call him and saw a man go the the boy. Grane ignored the two guys for now and focused on their master. "Huh, so you say guild master, but you should of been aware of what could happen. You could declare that you and your guild members were against our work, but to continue to stay here and fight was a foolish and futile effort! And all your power that your guild achieved up to now will be revoked by me!" He could feel the magic surging around the room and saw Jamie leap forward. "Nulify!" He shouted as every magical thing in the library suddenly stopped. With Jamie approaching, Grane only used one hand when wielding the katana to hold her off as their blades clashed together locked and both were at a stand still. "Now Guild Master, now that we have some time to talk. First, I won't stop, you brought your guild members here knowing the possible risks, you should have been fully aware this could come. I do not have intentions to kill them, but if they lack the power to endure their life then it is their own faults. Now answer me this. Since you are the guild master and the one who started this, how should I end this guild?" He said showing little resistance to the locked blades.

"A tool?" Trinity had been wondering if she should destroy it. Shortly, she found out that the answer to that question was yes. The orb left her hand, rising through the hole in the ceiling, where the wizard she presumed had attacked Karn then continued to attack Karn. She shot an arrow at the orb, but not in time to shatter it before it was transformed into another beast. She jumped back and drew a fire arrow, firing several of them at the beast in rapid succession. They create small, mostly directed explosions as they hit. Hopefully, she could make it back off. Wait. Better idea. "Just a little longer, Karn." Trinity drew another arrow, managing an Ice arrow as she began to run. She jumped up, bounding off of some rubble and the wall to get to the next level up. As she ascended, she shot her Ice arrow at the beast's head. She could try to, at least partially, distract it, and give Karn an opening. A sudden splash of ice to the face would be distracting, yes? As she lands on the next level up, she draws a beacon arrow and, "Homing!" fires it at the wizard, quickly drawing another fire arrow afterward and training it on him. "Step off, buddy. Don't make me mess you up." She made a note to be ready for the beast to come at her from below. In fact, that would be great.

Nicolas scratched his head. He stood confused in the middle of the hallway. "Damn it. Why doesn't this place have a map of some sorts?" The vibration mage looked behind him. "Well, at least I lost the crazy cat lady. That's one less problem I have to deal with." He smacked his hands as if he had just rid dirt off his hands. "I haven't seen any doors in here. I might as well make a couple of own." He took a stance and readied himself. He charged towards one of the walls. "Vibe Reaction!" He cried out; Phones vibrated his shoulder and utilized it as a battering ram to take down the wall. The face cracked under his weight and vibrations; he managed to step through as the ceiling and wall crumbled behind him. "Anybody here? No?"

The monster snarled before roaring as a arrow struck its head, ice coving its eyes. It hissed as it's two smaller hands tried to scrape the ice off while the two bigger ones tried to keep the Chimera at bay. Karn saw the chance, feeling the gravity that held him suddenly leave and his full strength returned as his paws lashed the claws away before sinking his sabertooth fangs into the creatures jugular. It wailed and screeched like the first before disappearing and reverting back to the orb. It seemed these creatures weren't quite as strong as they appeared, most likely because they were more made for distractions instead of combat like his own Transformation magic. Quickly, his large paw stomped on the orb, and smashed it to pieces. The masked wizard watched the girl leap out of the hole and shot a beacon arrow. Right hand waving again in a speedy manor, it wrote out blue words. **"Freeze."** they said, freezing the arrow before it simply fell to the ground. **"I believe your the ones breaking in. I'm simply getting a stolen item back."** They said calmly before they jumped down the hole. **"Seal."** they said as they wrote grey words out, a invisible wall covering the whole with purple writing. Reading that 'You must wait five minutes.' Hopefully before they were followed. The masked figure looked at the growling beast, before raising their right hand with their index and middle finger clasped together. **"Games are over. Grane has arrived."** they said before saying a soft chant. Karn was unsure what to do, he didn't know what this person was doing. Should he run? Attack? He wasn't sure. He tried moving but his leg caused him to falter and flinch. That moment, the figure seemed to just teleport in front of him, or simply moved too fast to see. **"....Death."** They whispered before their fingers seemed to lightly tap the left side of his chest. But instead of a light touch like it seemed, a purple light shined before blasting him, launching him upward through the ceiling and ended up landing outside of the Council building. His chimera form disappeared and he reverted back to his human self. Looking up, the figure jumped up the layers of holes before walking over to the unmoving boy. Searching the boy's bag. Finding the book, they took it out, before casually stepping over the boy. **"Now whom to return it to return it to."** They mused before looking toward the library and started for that direction. If they could guess, both Grane and Masahiko should be there. Either of them would do. Their figure started tracing words on the book, starting to seal it further with heavy encryptions.

Masahiko was a little surprised when he kick was actually caught. Damien then spun and elbowed him in the nose. He took a few steps back rubbing his nose to make sure it wan't broken, "Hm, nice hit there. It's been a long time since I've been hit. Looks like I'll have to get a little bit more serious," he once again slips into his shadow as the blades strike the ground where he was standing. The shadow speeds towards Damien sliding up along one of the bookshelves and leaps out wearing [black gauntlets](http://www.trueswords.com/images/prod/c/medieval_steel_riveted_steel_gauntlets_540.jpg). He attacks with a flurry of punches making a couple lucky hits dealing little damage. On the counter attack he dodges most of the attacks taking a handful of light cuts and finally he sees an opportunity. Rushing in he grabs one of the swords Damian was holding by the blade and smiles, "Now to use by favorite magic!" keeping a tight grip on the blade he continues fighting. While he's holding the blade he absords the heat from the blade causing it to become brittle. Satisfied he kicks Damien away causing the blade to shatter. He spins around when Carrie was stabbed. He throws several bolts at Damian and starts moving over when young woman smashes though the wall in front of him. For a second he was was aobut to scream when he saw the red hair but quickly realized it wasn't Sayuri and instead turned to look as a winged lizardman walks in though the hole, "Ah, Grane you made it here sooner then I expected. I'd say it's a pleasure but given the circumstances I would be lieing," he watches Garne attack the other mage then turns back to Damian, "So do you still wanna fight me or will you focus on the bigger threat?" --- Sayuri to be added

"Damian. Stay back, please" Jamie withheld his ground, but made no move to move the blade. "I brought my guild here, knowing there was a chance that we would end up fighting the council. Because the council has their own agenda, and that's all they care about. they have made you into their lap dog, and you just can't see it" She said. "You hurt two of my people. And you will pay for that" If they were going to do this without magic, then Jamie would just have to defeat Grane with the blade. The blade infused with magic from the guild. It weighed in her hands. The guild trusted in him. And what had he done so far? Let them get hurt. Penny's unconscious figure haunted him. Mayt, Injured, Jarvis watching. Damian, still fighting. Her guild was counting on him. Jamie growled and he broke the his blade away, twisting, and with a roar, shouted "Property Change! Magic!" Magic filled the room, and Jamie felt a slight trickle from the sword, as he used some of the magic from it. Fortified with magic from several wizards, Jamie realised the blade could be a powerful tool. And not being magic itself, the nullify ability didn't seem to work with it. She wondered for a split second if that was how Lacrima's worked, and resolved to ask Jarvis about it later. "You've ticked off the wrong Guild Master. You've ticked off the wrong guild" Jamie said, and for a second, it seemed as if he glowed, the air rippling around her, and he wielded the blade one handed, She slid one foot forward, one foot back, the blade in front of him, and quickly darted towards Grane, but did not attack just yet. the light flashed just as Jamie slammed her eyes shut. And she moved forward, swinging her blade towards Grane. Even if the blow didn't land, Jamie was already moving, his next attack coming from the opposite side. Jamie kept on moving, even if the blows didn't land. She used the blade's every inch, and seemed to be dancing, as she was constantly moving. Heat seemed to radiate from the blade at times, as well as burn to touch cold. Jamie was not going to lose this fight. He would protect his guild. He would succeed. She had her guild behind her, a force to be reckoned with.

Mithera was surprised when something was thrown through the roof of the building, and she caught the last glimpses of it changing into a human. *So this is the shapeshifter.* She turned around slowly, and saw a second man jump up and get something from the boy's pack. Mithera roared, and whipped her tail around at the figure, trying to throw him off the building. She followed by quickly snapping the shapeshifter in her mouth, just holding him there as she leaped off the building. She carefully placed it on her back as she turned to face any approaching Rune Knights. After a moment she decided it would be easier to let Melina get home with Phoenix Wing, and she turned, taking off and flying quickly over the city, careful to keep her passenger on board.

[Damian] The bolts were a bit of a surprise but Damian got a shield blade up in time to catch them, keeping from taking the damage they would have caused, and stood up, moving to answer his question. "Damian. Stay back, please." He glanced at Master Jamie before nodding and turning his attention back to Masahiko. "You and I have unfinished business, Masahiko. Don't think we're done just yet." Keeping his sword and shield combo, he dashes in and delivers a series of slashes and stabs before flipping away. "Three Blade Strike!" Three blades come at Masahiko from three different directions and Damian, for good measure, sent a Piercing Blade flying towards him from a fourth direction. He could only dodge up or duck, leaving himself open in either case.

Maddox watched out the corner of his eye as the thing fighting Karn blasted him through the ceiling. "Hmm..." he let out, turning his back to Wes and Sayuri. "Sayuri, you talk to this Wes and explain to him what we're trying to do. Convert him, please." With that he teleported again, vanishing into thin air and leaving Sayuri and Wes as the only two conscious people in the area. He reappeared at the hole in the roof of the Council building, watching the figure begin to search a knocked-out Karn. The man pulled out a book from the boy's bag and began to walk back to the building. "Thank you," Madddox said, appearing right in front of the figure. His hand shot out, snatching the book from the man, and then flashing him a grin. It was all over in less than a second and the last thing Maddox did to the figure before teleporting again was flashing him a victorious smirk. The man known as Blink did what he did best. The red-haired mage reappeared outside the library, immediately discovering the situation wasn't as handled as it was before. While several of the Council members seemed to be dispatched, another had shown up with more vigor and power than the others. "I was wondering why I didn't feel you before," Maddox mentioned aloud, announcing his presence. Damien was fighting Masahiko while Jamie was fighting Grane. This was a problem. "Yo Jamie!" he shouted, hoping that updating the master wouldn't be too distracting. He brandished the book, making sure that anyone who looked over would see it clear as day. "Let's trade places." Maddox figured that Jamie would know how to decipher the book and get the information they needed, but if he was busy fighting then he couldn't possibly use the book.

The figure quickly dodged out of the way of what seemed to be a dragon, before promptly carrying off the Transformation wizard. They hummed, saying a few chanting words before muttering 'Dispel' and calmly watching the flying figure. Though it would seem nothing happened, the previous spell would be nullified now. The figure then watched as the male red head seemed to teleport and snatch the book away, looking quite victorious and cocky. But the masked figure didn't even attempt to get it back and simply watched him go. A soft grin crossed on the lips hidden behind the mask. **"Jamie, you have quite talented children. I'm impressed, though not surprised. Reckless as always though. Better beat down Grane before they all get wiped out. Now.. Perhaps now I can get some beer, now that I've done my part."** they hummed before their body started to disappear in purple letters, a form of teleportation. The book mildly glowed as it was touched, and letters appeared all over it that sealed the book shut. Saying 'Open only after all members of the Council are defeated.' --- Karn was completely out, his battered body unmoving. He wasn't even breathing, and his heart was still. His chest where he was hit had purple letters, some numbers seeming to countdown. But they suddenly disappeared, flittering off into the wind. When they were gone, he gave a painful gasp of life and his eyes shot open. What happened? Everything just went dark. When he tried to move, he found that he couldn't and pain only replacing any numbing cold feeling he felt. When he managed to focus his mind, he blinked a little as felt something scaly under his fingertips. Turning his gaze to examine the moving surface he was resting on, he instantly froze, emerald eyes shooting wide open as he recognized what looked like to be a white dragon. Flying over the city. **"Whoa a dragon! So--- ow!!"** Karn started exclaiming excitedly as he tried to move, only to feel a jolt of pain and remained laying down. He pouted, finding it unfair he could barely move just at the time he would be jumping for joy.

Mithera ignored the person waking up on her back, still flying across the city. As she came to the edge of the city she started to slow down a little bit, but kept going on well past the city limits. She flew for a few minutes after they left the city entirely before slowly landing, turning her head around to lift Karn off, but seeing as he was awake, she just slowly lowered herself to her stomach so he could get off. She shook a little, trying to indicate for him to get off, as her head hovered not far from him. Once she was settled properly on the ground, she spoke. "Not truly a dragon, but I guess I'm as close as it can be these days." She lowered her head a bit so that when he gets off he's still looking at her face. "Now, get off my back." --- Melina quickly slipped inside the library behind Maddox, slamming the door shut, laughing wildly. She looked like she had enjoyed the fight, and she was dripping with blood she hadn't yet had a chance to absorb as energy. She flicked off her hands as she turned around, looking at the fights and she simply smiled before going to look around in the library for something, skirting away from the fights. "Blood magic blood magic blood magic..." She murmured under her breath, reading the covers of books at rapidly as she could. "What can I learn about blood magic."
