Masahiko looked the second mage quickly before turning back to the other, "Oh it's not for no reason Jamie had declared war on the Magic Council and as such you must, at the very least, be removed from the City at all costs," he casts a quick spell on himself that makes sure his face stays hidden, "Your Damien correct? And your right. Your magic isn't *in* our library, but, I do have knowledge of it," he blocks all of the stikes barehanded then leaps back when the blades rain down. He then plls the closest one out examining it, "I have eyes and ears everywhere. Another thing, I am, mostly, free of Angelica's control. She has very little influence over me right now," He charges forward thowing the sword infont of him, pulls up two more, and throws those as well. He Charges his hands with electricity and attacks several times. Predicting the counter he slips into his shadow and moves behind and emerges with a charged kick, "One more thing: Sayuri doesn't want this fight. In fact I can feel her feelings. She's praying that no one dies here." --- Sayuri was take by surprise by the first teleportation and it didn't feel good at all. She was more prepared however for the next ones closing her eyes barely in time, *'Oh man that's not pleasent,'* when Maddox told her to stay there she listed but only long enough to feel as normal as possible. She followed soon after. She assume the large beast surronded was the transformation mage from earlier. What interested her more however was the fact that it seemed to be pinned but nothing was there. That's when it hit her: Gravity Magic! She runs forward charging darkness in her hands before firing two large blasts into the crowd knocking several of the knights away. She stops near the door and saw Wes standing there, "Hey Wes! Been a long time!"

Nicolas' eyes opened wide once the man stared charging at him with a sword. "Oh, yeah. Real nice," Nicolas scoffed. "Come charging at the guy that gives you a free listening device." Phones sighed and kept his hands raised up. "Vibe..." His response was interrupted as the red-haired girl had kicked him into a building. Phones dropped his shoulders. "Of course." He sighed as he could see the building was being leveled. "That was going to be my guy," he muttered under his breath. "And things started to get exciting." He rolled his eyes over to the phoenix; he could tell she was yelling at him. He would have taken off his headphones, but "Lose Yourself" was still playing. Nicolas took off one ear off. **"And made a bigger jerk-"** He placed it back on his ear and murmured a nope. Phones was infuriated enough as it is and he didn't need the phoenix to keep adding fuel to the fire. Nicolas crossed his arms and pretended to listen. He slightly pulled his ear off from time to time to get a gist of what she was staying. She then stopped her rant and Nicolas awkwardly kept nodding and staring at her. _"Wait, is she still talking? Oh-"_ Nicolas took off his headset. "I am more than capable of handling myself!" He retorted. "Where have you exactly been? You act as though you have been following me my entire life! If you know so much about me, then how come you didn't help me with all of past problems!" Phones proceeded to march over to the injured council member. Maybe it was sheer luck or maybe it's because I am actually capable of not having a sitter," Nicolas looked back at the phoenix. "I guess this will prove my metal." He glanced back at the council member. "If I die from this guy, then I die. Because really, I don't deserve this gift of life right now." "Now I don't know what gave you the right mind to go ahead and attack me, but it was a big mistake, " Nicolas cracked his knuckles. "Now I'm going to be hurt in the worst ways imaginable. Prepare to feel the power of a _lightning_ mage!" He pointed to the clouds. "Look above, cretin as lighting will strike from above and it will be a marvelous sight!" Nicolas stretched his hands to his back. He immediately clapped them toward the ground creating a moving tremor towards the council member's direction. He considered the council member would be confused or bewildered by his lies. Nicolas then proceeded to run beside and behind the moving tremor to issue a combo. If his tremor move missed completely, he could still go for a direct hit from himself.

_Wes?_ Maddox stood up straight out of his combat stance, letting the Rune Knight in front of him fall to the ground without any further afflictions. Though there were still several left to dispatch, the name caught Maddox's attention. He looked down the hallway and into the room, letting his eyes confirm that the person Sayuri was talking to was indeed Wes. But there was a problem with that... His left fist shot out in a hard punch, hitting a Knight directly in the center of his chestplate. The metal dented severely from the blow and the man let out a loud gasp of air. Clearly the wind was knocked out of him as he was wheezing all the way to the floor. "Sayuri wait," Maddox instructed, beginning to walk down the hallway. He stopped by Karn, confirming also that he was indeed being pinned down by Gravity Magic. Two more Knights tried to flank Maddox and attack him at the same time, flinging fireballs at him, but the man took a step back and dodged the attack effortlessly. Maddox jumped to the man at his left, delivering an armor-denting kick to his abdomen and using that force to spring at the other Knight, giving him an identical present. With those two dispatched, combined with the work Sayuri and Karn put in, the Rune Knights were all on the ground in various states of incapacitation. "This isn't the right Wes," Maddox stated now that there was far less noise in the hallway, making sure everyone heard him. His eyes narrowed as he began walking toward the Wes in the room at the end of the hallway. "Release Karn." He pointed at the restrained beast, just in case Wes didn't know him by his name. After giving him that command he continued walking towards Sayuri and Wes. "I got it," Maddox spoke after a moment of silence. "I've figured out what is happening here." He stopped at the doorway, letting his red eyes take an unsettling glare upon the man called Wes. "You aren't from this world." Maddox finally closed his eyes and let out a sigh. "But... if you are Wes..." His eyes opened again, resuming his deadly serious expression. "I would like to have that book now. In case you aren't up-to-date, the person we are trying to retrieve is you."

When the Council Member had begun to charge Phones, Trinity requipped her magic quiver. Some approaching Rune Knights saw this and began to approach *her*. "Aah, saw that, did you? I'm not lookin' for trouble, now..." She could tell they didn't believe her. But then she heard something... "*I don't deserve this gift of life right now.*" Arara? Her harp stopped and she rose from her seat. "At least, not any trouble with you boys. Excuse me." She sighed softly to herself as she began to move toward Phones. Didn't he know that was the kind of line he was supposed to stop on? Well, no matter. She'd just have to cut back to it somehow. Before she could reach him, the fool had begun an assault on the Council Member, and she ran into action. She saw his move and began to get into position to anticipate it. "Don't deserve your LIFE!?" She arrived just in time and leaped in. "Clench your teeth, BOY!" The idea was to rock him across the face. Punch the sense into him, y'know. "Is that all your life is worth, then? What of your parents? Even if they're missing or gone, that doesn't give you the right to throw away what they've done for you! So I've decided something. I'm gonna beat some sense into you, boy. Until you learn to value the things you've been given." She cracked her neck and knuckles, though kept a portion of her attention on Spencer. More like she was waiting for him to interrupt, actually.

Karn watched and listened as Sayuri and Maddox took down the rest of the Rune Knights, before blinking in mild surprise as Sayuri seemed to recognize this man named Wes. Maddox as well, but did not address the Gravity magic wielding man in the same friendly manner as the red haired girl. Maddox blatantly accused this Wes to be from that other world, but was not exactly the one they were going to save. Or is... Another Wes? He wasn't sure. His mind was a bit jumbled as he used his focus and strength to keep standing. It was then a odd voice was heard, one that was a bit distorted. **"Now it isn't quite fair to gang up on one man."** It said, [a black cloaked figure](http://th06.deviantart.net/fs49/PRE/i/2009/170/0/6/Court_of_Blades_by_Esuerc.jpg) walking up behind Wes, wearing a white mask. Karn blinked curiously, sniffing and his eyes narrowed. For some reason, this person smelled like heavy perfume, and it clouded his sense of smell. It was hard to tell recognize the actual scent of this person. But the large beast didn't have time to worry about it, as his pointed ears twitched in alert at the sound of something shifting. Panicked, the Chimera growled as he forced himself to jump, shoving the two guild members away just before black spikes appeared from the ground. Strong enough to pierce even his tough hide, going through the right side of his chest, stomach and left leg. A pained roar escaped him, but his long fangs quickly bit down at the black spike, causing a shriek and a retreat to form what looked like [a black four legged creature. Four bright glowing slitted white eyes. The skin almost like smoke as it shifted and moved and was about have the size as the large Chimera.](http://th07.deviantart.net/fs70/200H/i/2012/007/a/1/black_beast____with_purple_highlites_by_palkiagirl-d4llmzr.jpg) It hissed and spat at the beast, who growled in turn but it's standing posture had lowered due to the injuries. The black creature growled, moving around the Chimera and biting at the legs, avoiding swipes and bites. The mysterious figure watched the two beasts for a moment before looking at the two Guild members, though mostly at Sayuri. **"Please do turn back Sayuri. Your father would rather you leave unhurt."** they said softly. This figure wasn't known by many other than Masahiko and Sayuri, but they were simply referred as Wizard X.

[Damian] Damian blocked the three blades thrown back at him flawlessly, having been expecting some kind of counter along those lines even if it hadn't been exactly that. He then blocked and dodged all of the punches and when he saw an opening took it, slashing in an X but missing because Masahiko had vanished. His only warning that the Council Member was behind him was the fact that he could feel more than hear the electricity on the back of his neck. Acting fast, Damian pivots on his right foot, using his left to intercept the kick. After holding it there for a second, he pivots again on his left and slams his elbow into the man's nose, buying himself extra space. Still, he does a few backflips to establish a more comfortable amount of space between them. "I'm fully aware she didn't want this fight, even tried to talk Master Jamie into just making a more peaceful approach. However, it would seem that didn't work and now here we are." Damian really hoped to reason with this guy, Masahiko was one of the people on he really didn't want to hurt if he could help it, but he wasn't about to go down with out a fight. "Triple blade!" Three blades came at Masahiko from three different directions, and all closing quickly, hoping to make the fight go in his favor just for a brief moment.

As Phones went to attack the fallen Council Member, Penny was in motion. She moved in between Phones and Spencer, in an almost defensive gesture. "He's down. He's out. We do not kill people" She said, standing straight, "That is not what Phoenix Wing is about. We take down wrong doers, but we do not kill them" And then trinity went to beat the crap out of him. Penny lunged, catching the girl around the waist, "We do not beat sense into people, not like that. Jeez, why am I stuck with you guys? he may be a pain in the butt, but he's still a guild member, and that's that. He'll learn, eventually that being part of a guild means being part of a family. Gods, lets go see if anyone else needs help" She stood in between Trinity and Phones. ----- Jamie made a movement, lunging for Angelica, he moved around, blocking the blow from Melina. "No. She doesn't deserve to have the easy way out. I want her to suffer, a long time" As if taking that as a cue, Jarvis smashed the lacrima. This time, when the light cleared, there was a Lacrima, medium sized, and shaking just slightly where Angelica had been. it swirled with different shades of black. Shadows. As they cleared, a tiny form of Angelica could be seen. Jamie stood up straight, but still kept a hand on the sword. He looked to Melina. "What did the council do to you?" Jarvis picked up the Lacrima Prison. 100 years had changed a lot of things. Magic was different now, and Jarvis's magic was completely unique. He was able to harness the unique abilities of Lacrima's, keeping their abilities the same, but at the same time, changing them to what he wanted. The prison Lacrima was a particular favorite of his, and was always saved for a last resort. Jarvis also had the unique ability of being able to access, like those that used Re-equip magic, another dimension, to store the vast number of Lacrima's he had. Which is where he sent the prison Lacrima now. If it shattered, Angelica would be free. And they didn't want that, not yet ---- "Oh yes" Carrie said with amusement, "Jamie tried, Jamie failed, and here we are. There was never going to be a peaceful approach" She said, watching Mayt "Your magic is interesting, Engery manipulation. I wonder how much you can stand" Her voice was just a little bit creepy. She pursed her lips thoughtfully, and then gave her next attack her all, the lighting energy falling towards Mayt, never ending.

Trinity hadn't really been approaching the boy. She'd actually planned on being interrupted, though not by Penny. "Oh, oye, oye, I wasn't actually gonna hurt him... bad." She... kinda wanted to punch him again, honestly. "But, more importantly than that, where has our gracious host- ah! Such poor stamina for entertaining guests, poor thing... And here I thought I might have to do something." She took Penny's arms from her waist gently, smiling. "There there. I more meant... gradually. I don't think hitting him harder would do any good right now. Though, speaking of hitting hard..." The white-haired woman looks over her shoulder, in the direction Spencer went. "Ehh... wasn't that... a little easy? This is supposed to be your Magic Council, yes? Am I missing something, here? You two were impressive, don't get me wrong, but..."

Nicolas stumbled onto the ground. He rubbed his head and stood back up after he noticed it was that weird cat-lady on the train. "What the hell is wrong with you, stupid cat-lady?" He massaged his cheek on where she had landed the hit. "Is Phoenix Wing this mentally unstable?" He stepped back when she threw what he had yelled before. "Oh my god. I cannot get into this right now! This is not share my freakin' life story!" Just then the red-haired girl got between them. Probably so there won't be any further conflict. He bit his tongue and tightened his fists. "Okay, listen! One thing I am not is a murderer!" He breathed heavily and his heart was pounding rapidly. "Don't ever call me a murderer, or you will be waking up with a headache!" Phones turned his head to the floor and calmed down. "Just leave me alone." Nicolas passed Penny and continued forward to Trinity. He looked her up and down; he gave her a smile. "Sorry," he muttered. "You want to know what the most annoying sound in the world is?" Within a blink of an eye, Nicolas leans forward to Trinity's right ear and screeches at the top of his lungs, possibly giving her an ear ache. He then kept marching forward away from the two. "I'm going to beat up more bad guys." He threw a good-bye wave.

Mayt just continued approaching Carrie, still controlling every bit of lightning she threw at him. He was annoyed that he couldn't throw it back, and he winced as occasionally a bit of the electricity would dace across his skin, but ultimately he movement was continuously in the direction of Carrie, spurred on by the knowledge that he could likely outlast her in a fight like this. "I don't give a rat's ass what Jamie did or didn't do. You have no right to barge in here and try to harm people that not only had no idea what Jamie was going to do, but that you don't even know Jamie speaks for. Now, all we want is a damn *book* and I won't have to do something I may regret." --- Melina growled as Jamie yanked the council witch out of her way. "I wasn't going to *kill* her! I haven't gotten a chance to recover my magic since that skirmish with your fire mage and others the others yesterday. I was only going to make her bleed a little." She huffed, and turned around, facing the Rune Knights coming around the corner. "Guess I'll just have to bleed a few of these guys." She smiled a bit, and started heading towards the library entrance, giving Jamie a little wave. "Later." --- Mithera pulled up just before she hit the roof, instead landing heavily on it and leaving scratches that'd be impossible to get out. She climbed over to the side of the building the library was on, looking for windows, as well as keeping a lookout for anyone with the intention of causing harm to the dragoness.

"Honestly, do you just not listen? To anyone? Ever?" The white-haired minstrel sighed softly as the boy spoke. This kid was all over the place. As Phones leaned in to scream in her ear, Trinity reflexively punched him again, this time in the gut. He may have been quick, but she was quick, too. "You? Is that the most annoying sound? 'cause you're pretty damn annoying, kid. By the way?" She paused briefly for effect. "Keep out of my personal space." She looks over her shoulder at Penny, calmly. "Well, since I'm going to be taking the time to teach this kid about life, I guess I might as well join your guild, huh? You said I had a lacrima...?" She'd felt something in her pocket before, that she hadn't put there. "This must be it, then." She pulls it out and examines it for a moment. "Uuuh... hm." She requips a small device into her hand, with what looks like some sort of seat for a stone. It was a mount for her instruments, to use lacrima with hand positions saved on it, used to teach songs. You just follow the movements it shows you. Of course, it wasn't good just for instructional lacrima. She activates the stone to see what else was going on. "Ooh, looks like everyone's fighting. Looks like soldiers are showing up, too."

Penny's patience, not the strongest at the best of times, was wearing thin. This wizard was beyond idiotic, and she had had just about enough. The flames were in a hand, a harmless purple that wouldn't be anything but hear and a slight tickle. She threw them at the back of Phones's head "no, you will not! I'm not having people die!" Frustration ebbed in every word and she let out an annoyed sound "Urgh!" She turned to the council member, who was indeed trying to get up. "No, you don't!" She threw threw hand fills of flames towards Spencer, perhaps a bit more powerful then she meant them to be. She couldn't leave the council member but nor could she let Phones go off on his own. "GOda. Follow him, please trinity. Make sure he doesn't get himself killed" ---- Carrie didn't seem to be wavering. She stayed where she was as Mayt continual got closer. She wasn't phased by the fact her attacks seemingly had no effect on Mayt. In fact, she seemed to reveal in it. "And that is why we are fighting you. You want a book you cannot have" Carrie said, "and I won't let you have it" damn Angelica's plans, Carrie had plans of her own. "And thus, we fight!" She took a step forward, slamming her foot into the ground. A God-awful cracking sound could be heard. "You're fighting the magical council, boy. And I am Carrie, known as the lighting smasher" again, she stepped forward, again, the cracking and cracks appearing, lighting dancing over her feet, her skin. She closed the distance quickly, and threw a punch, twirling around to try and throw another punch. ----- "No offense, but I'd rather not have you running around with Angelica's blood either" Jamie said. Melina was one if the few people Jamie had trouble reading. Jarvis was perhaps the only other one. When she went off to fight the ruin knights, Jamie sigjed heavily. "Where is everyone, Jarvis?" Jarvis took a moment to reply. "Damian and Mayt appear to be fighting Carrie and Masahiko, Penny appears to have taken down Spencer, but is having trouble with those you placed with her, Lazarus and Sasha appear to be fighting the twins. Karn is fighting ruin Knights in one of his forms...something...does he have the book? I can not tell. Sayuri and Maddox are wi-...is that? No...not our Wes. Well. Looks like your theory is correct, as always. Where are we going?" Jamie ran a hand through her hair, thinking. "Let's assist Melina, we don't need her with too much blood. I never know if she's going to attack us or not"

Angelo let master Jamie deal with the little girl that controlled him and he has to keep his eyes on the job. Since he had zues armor on he could move faster through this massive library so Angelo moved through the shelves to the forbidden books and he immediately started skimming through every book at lightning speed...

"Lag," Nicolas muttered when he noticed Trinity flinch for an attack. This move was still taking some time for getting used to, but Nicolas decided to utilize it for trivial matter such as this one. The punch had landed on his gut, but had totally lost its strength. It still stung though. "I listen to my headphones. And that one time someone sold me magic beans, but turned out to be regular beans. I beat him up shortly afterwards." Nicolas touched the back of his head. "What is wrong with you?!" He then glanced at how the red-haired woman attacked Spencer again. "Oh, c'mon on! I couldn't attack him into a KO, but you could? I was going to punch him and you're hitting him with fire!" He then pulled strands of his hair from his scalp. "I can't even..." He clapped his hands to remove the hair from his hands. "I'm going to help any other members I can. Your options right now is to trust me...or go against me." He started running towards the broken building that Penny had created when launching the council member. "Fiery-fire lady, you need to work on your social skills!" He bellowed out.

Mayt smiled as he watched the wind up for the punch, he moved stopped moving, letting it come full force at him, and it stopped just before contact, and negating all of Carrie's momentum built up in the attack. Mayt immediately grabbed her wrist before she could realize why she stopped moving and retreat it. He dropped his sword and his other hand went to her side, draining her of heat in that area and pushing her own electricity back into her. "For someone who knows what their opponents magic is, you sure do let your guard down." After a moment he turned and threw her into the nearest book case, before going over to her and attempting to grab her again, ignoring the growing soreness in his arms from the electricity he couldn't stop while he was holding her. --- Melina continued walking as she came to the library, hearing the fights going on within. She turned, facing the running Rune Knights, and barring her knife, watching them come closer. She licked her lips. "Oh, I'm going to enjoy this a *whole* bunch." She almost giggled as one of the group headed for her, the rest of them heading for Jamie and Jarvis. She watched the Rune Knight carefully, waiting for him.

Lazarus a little battered stepped in front of Sasha. Mainly because of Ted and his wind magic. He was soaked, tired and had somehow taken the majority of the hits. Well that was his role in frozen heart. He turned his head and made eye contact with Sasha, eyes still glowing. "What kind of a god can't even clean up trash like this?" He paused, before speaking abruptly. "Be my support Sasha. Let me defeat this guy with my own power." He turned back to look at Ted, panting. Anyone could see how frustrated Lazarus was, and how much he wanted to do this. Without looking at her, he spoke softly. "Please Sasha... let me be a god... no... let me be a man." He cut himself off at his own sentence. He yelled out, releasing magic power, forming his wings, glaring at Ted. "I can do this Sasha." He calmly spoke. His fist glowed with light and he darted forward, leaving the area of concrete floor he was standing on destroyed. "Tower of judgement." Lazarus had been drawing whilst darting around earlier, at it so happened that Ted had stepped into one. The tower shot up from the ground. He had caught Ted in it. Angelic magic would barrage ted as long as he remained in there. He himself shot into the tower after Ted. His fist glowed white. "regulus impact!" He used one of his normal angel magic attacks in the form of regulus impact. He aimed the punch into Ted's chest. Before continuing his punches. With ever punch he said a word. "Taste...! The....! Power....! Of...! A god!!!!" He finished his punches before jumping upwards. "Belowing roar of the light god!" He released a beam of magic from his mouth directly downwards on Ted. He put everything he had into the attack. When it was over he flipped back and landed, somewhat poorly, exhausted, and shaky. His wings deformed, as he didn't have enough magical power to sustain them as well as his other magic. He was poorly balanced, but still capable. The tower of judgement deformed as it finished, and the dust began to clear. Lazarus assessed the damage he had done. In his current state, he couldn't use his wings, so he was at a disadvantage. He hoped his attacks had made a difference.

Sasha rose. It took all of her strength, all of her will power not to jump in and help Lazarus. She understood this was something he needed to do, something he needed to prove to himself, but it still took a lot of effort to stay where she was. To protect herself against any derbies or stray attacks, she formed her ice bear shield, and stay within its protective zone. She watched the battle, always looking back to Lazarus, to make sure he was okay, to make sure, not that she believed he would, that he hadn't Lost control. When he landed, shaky and hurt, his wings damaged, sasha had to go to him. She threw her arms around him tight, before looking to Ted. "We didn't really give them a chance, did we? I think splitting them up helped." She said, "are you okay to walk? We should try and help find the book" ---- When Mayt grabbed her once more, carrie's skin just seemed to explode with electricity, and she twisted her arm around tk grab him, "everyone has their limits. I'm better you reach yours, before I reach mine" she said, bumping up the power once more. --- As the ruin Knights came towards them, Jamie looked to jarvis, sword in hand. "Just like old times" and dove into the fray. Using his wave magic, Jamie was able to take down a few at once, and Jarvis with his Lacrima magic, they were easy for them, and the two of them working in sync, a slight gesture or sound all the signal they needed

Lazarus shook a little, as it appeared that Ted was defeated. He released his satans grip form, returning his skin to normal colour and his horns retracting. His magical power was pretty low, no way could he use any more god slayer magic, as it was so draining. He nodded. "Let's go." He picked his jacket up off the floor and pulled it over his tank top. His eyes narrowed. "Let's go and see who is responsible for harming Phoenix wing." He grunted, before starting to leave the room, still want from Sasha's embrace.

"It's your fault for buying magic beans you didn't inspect first." This kid. This kid. This KID! How much- he couldn't honestly be like this and not have gotten beaten up for being a punk at least once, could he? He picks fights with his powers, does he just luckily avoid everyone that would crush him? Well, until now, maybe. Trinity gave an audible groan when given her new orders. "Eeeeeh? You're gonna make me watch the brat? Hmmnnn... only 'cause you said please." She was going to anyway, honestly. This kid's ego was going to get him killed. She sighed, requiping her Harp Bow as she followed after Phones. This guy was annoying...

"I'm glad you're here. That wizard over there that's a chimera is trying to still a book that's property of the Council and your help to returning it would be really helpful." Another red hair showed up and asked him to stop was gravity. "I don't get what you mean, I'm Wes and this guy is trying to steal something that doesn't belong to him. And the gravity is staying since we still need to retrieve that stolen book." he said with a persistence voice and his hand motioning downwards, causing the gravity to assert more force onto Karn. --- Sunset was approaching and a soft whispered went by Penny with what could be heard as "Drilling punch." Behind Penny was about a seven feet tall large dark silhouette of a strange creature. The next second was Penny being instantly slammed to the ground by a punch that felt as if it was drilling through her. The force dealt on Penny created a deep crater below her that was about five meters wide. The attacker reached for the girl with a large scaly hand and lifted her up by her head, revealing the severe wound done to her from the devastating hit. The grip tighten hard enough to see if she was still conscious. Unconscious or not, with a quick toss in the air, she slowly descended to the ground, only to be punched again before reaching the ground with tremendous force by the unknown silhouette.
