I can see that going extremely well as a sort of proto-European Union in Eastern Europe, especially if you assert hegemony over the Balkans and defeat Russia in the First World War.

As for myself, I'm most likely going for Beiyang China or some other pseudo-fascist, pro-military state led by Yuan Shikai who (hopefully) doesn't declare himself Emperor and destroy the fledgling Republic. I think the collapse of the Qing Empire is inevitable, so it's mostly a matter of deciding who or what replaces it.

A United States of China would be cool, but I don't think something like that is realistic at this point.

Orders work as thus: each nation is given one national focus order and three normal orders. The national focus order will always succeed to a degree, but it can only be used internally (ie, improving infrastructure is ok, taking a colony is not). During a war, a nation also gets three war orders.

You can recruit a few players to help you out. Or if you're lowering the number of orders, then no tier system, everyone gets the same.

Well, in that case, I seriously hope Stein just leaves the order system as it is. I wouldn't mind some of your other ideas though...especially those regarding rewarding quality and quantity of IC posts :P

It has nothing to do with my inability to do the stats, thank you very much. Writing eighty-eight paragraphs, and that's not even the war orders (granted that work is divided between the two of us) and me doing eighty-eight orders is a lot of work. Having multiple people on the stats will only cause those people walking on front of eachother. Furthermore, big countries leave a bigger mark in the world than smaller countries, and that should be represented.
