Magic Color and Meaning: Green/Blue. Bristle's magic will be somewhat simple to control and works best when he is calm.
Primary Source of Magic: Bristle has a most strange way of accessing his magic. He does it via a sort of spiritual deck of cards so to speak. The deck is 'located' in the center of his chest and he 'draws' cards from it to use his magic. Because of how this works the amount of magic he can use at any given time is almost entirely random. This means he can use
Bristle yawned as he trudged through the crispy snow, the white powder making a delightful crunching noise beneath his shoes as he sunk in. He wished he had thought to bring gloves, now he couldn't even play his lute because of how cold his hands were. Bristle stuck his hands under his arpits
The mouth laughed as it was nearly touching him now, the mouth gaping wide open as if about to consume him, "Foolish human.., ahah" at this rate Max would be crushed within a minute, and his magic run out in nearly three times that length at earliest.

The instructor hmmed thoughtfully, "Word magic, a most effective method and very reliable. Can be flighty in combat though since it allows your opponent more time to react." The calm analytical voice betrayed nothing of what was to come. The only warning was a slight shaking of the muddy ground and some sort of enormous worm leapt out of the ground mouth agape. It was ahead of where Meruin and her boulder were traveling and it was easily large enough to swallow both of them whole.

His proctor's voice was practically pulsating with pleasure. "Mhm, very impressive." When he slammed onto the track it gave a massive, ear-piercing, screeching sound and slowed to a crawl. Even a turtle could probably outrun it at this point. When he threw himself onto the first blade at first it lifted him a couple of inches of the ground but then slowly crashed back onto the track remaining immobile. The process was successful repeated with the next two. "Whenever you're ready hun, you're just about through." his proctor's voice echoed throughout encouragingly. When he continued forward on the crawling track he would find a brick wall. It covered the whole track but beneath it there was a drop into unseen depths. The distance between the edge of the hole and the wall was easy enough to make if he did a running jump, even without enhancements. What you could do at that point was a matter of some debate.
@yukisaa[hider=Exam] "Come back." the golem called out slowly, its voice dull but managing to show displeasure. It reached down to the earth again and this time yelled out angrily and grabbed the earth and ripped it up. Like a carpet the dirt between the golem and her whipped into the air, sending her flying into the air if she didn't dodge it.
"Boring, death mode." the coach said casually from the sidelines. Suddenly all sunlight vanished, just a dismal sort of gray. A roaring sound came from behind him and now a massive drill nearly three times as tall as Arcadius being propelled by a monster truck was screeching towards him. There was also some sort of intangible barrier surrounding the track that prevented Arcadius from leaving it. The coach grinned, "Run!"
Hey note to all RPers, If you edit in a mention, it will not work.
Beware, once again the dreaded school begins and since i'm trying to do literally everything at the same time my posting will be limited. I will try my best to keep up with everything, if I haven't shown up for a while throw a mention at me and I'll most likely get a post out soon as I see it.
Bristle mentally facepalmed. She wanted him to grab a stick, while running for his life, in the dead of winter, where everything was wet and cold, probably try lighting it with her lighter, and attack those giant freaking monsters with a stick?!?!?! Now that'd be a real magic trick. "No." Bristle said flatly keeping his tone as flat as possible while still sprinting for his bloody life.
Pyramid set, chain des set
Tyrant's temper, skull servant in hand, one for one
Moros got off his bike in front of the impressive looking building. So this was Industrial Illusion hm? It was quite the impressive building, he wondered if any other duelists had come here yet. Well at the very least he could take a look around. Surprised there wasn't anybody here, even though it was just a side entrance, Moros tested the door and found that it was unlocked. Cool. He went inside and wandered around a little taking some stairs up to the next level. Then he heard the sounds of what he thought was someone dueling. Following his ears he made his way deeper into the building and found Xaiver there dueling some guy with silver hair and a black jacket. The two were in some sort of fancy dueling arena, they were inside some sort of glass box and there were a bunch of seats, almost like a tournament style thingy. It seemed Moros got there right as the duel started... and ended.
Aiden was thrown back by the blast that came from the 2 swords 'Apprentice' held, and Xavier had the most smug grin on his face. Aiden got up and looked at Xavier, "I'm very impressed. Perhaps we will meet in the finals." he said, walking away without bothering to introduce himself, as he reached the door, he turned to face Xavier, "You can tell your friend he can stop snooping around now."
"Hey!" Moros cried out, offended. "I wasn't snooping, I was exploring. Besides if you don't want people here the doors should've been locked right?"
Aiden chuckled, "I meant lurking in the seats, it is unkind to watch a duel without making yourself known. But..... oh well, what can be done? The name's Aiden. I assume you have heard of me?" As he finished, Aiden held up the arm on which his duel disk rested as if posing.
"Um..." Moros's voice trailed off uncertainly as he struggled to recall where he might've seen the duelist with the fancy disk before. "Some commercial thingy right?" he asked uncertainly.
Aiden rolled his eyes at the reference to the commercial he had done a year ago when he had first joined Industrial Illusions, "Close, but no cigar. I am one of the top duelists here at Industrial Illusions. So good that the company printed this deck for me, custom made." He tapped his duel disk to indicate the deck he was talking about.
Xavier looked at the guy with a smirk, thinking of how this guy might be connected to his past. "Have you ever seen me before, Aiden?" Aiden looked at him and shook his head.
Moros almost asked how the man was ranked top if he had lost in a single turn but realized at the last second that that would probably be considered rude. Instead he focused on the deck the high ranked duelist had bragged about, "That's super cool, whats you deck do? From what little I saw it had dragons and stuff. How can I get one, do I have to work here? Can I work here? Will you hire me?" Moros asked the questions one after the other quickly becoming more and more excited.
Aidens head began to spin at the rapid fire questions, then began to methodically answer them, "Ummm..... 1. It abuses Attack boosts that can cause my monsters to have up to 14000 ATK, if I play right. 2. The closest I could see either of you getting to one of these," Aiden tapped the disk again, "would be the prize of the tournament. 3. Depends. 4. See number 3."
Moros hmmed thoughtfully. "Thats cool, and super scary. 14,000 is a lot." In fact so large that it tied with a fully powered King. He wondered how hard it was for Aiden to get his monster out. "Now you said me working here depends, depends on what exactly?" Moros didn't have a job and having some spending money could be cool. Maybe he could get Cecile a gift to pay her back for all the help she gave him.
Aiden thought for a second, wondering if this boy would be a good tester, or maybe even a mascot for new decks. He lifted a finger to his chin and then snapped his fingers, "I know! Why dont you and your friend here duel, and put on a show. I dont want to see an epic one turn kill, I want to see a dramatic duel. The more entertaining the better. If its amusing enough, I might offer you two kids jobs." The look on Aidens face was the most genuine expression he had since Xavier had first saw him.
"Awesome its a deal!" Moros said excitedly and his dark duel disk unfolded from his skull watch travel mode and the dueling section formed. Similair to the a spine with the swirling patterns on the disk gleaming with darkness, seemingly prepared for battle, he and got ready to get into the room, before realizing he had no idea how to get inside. "Erm, could you open the... thingy?"
Aiden pressed a button on his disk and the glass dome retracted into the floor, leaving the lighting that hung from the celing to light the stands too. He glanced in Moross direction and noticed his disk, the limited edition skull style disk that I.I. had given to a nearby designer disk shop. "Complements on the disk, it was my idea to release those." He pointed to the boys wrist.
"Really? Thanks for putting the idea out, one of my friends got it for me." Moros called out as the dome opened and he eagerly jumped into the battle arena displaying his disk, "You ready to go Xaiver?"
Xavier raised his generic Duel Disk shamefully, clearly disappointed he didn't have a custom disk. "Why not! Lets go!" The bland disk fanned out to reveal generic card slots and Xavier stepped forward to engage the duel.
Aiden jumped out of the arena and sat in the stands, not intending to stick around. He closed the arena with his Disk and pointed to a button on Xavier's side of the arena. Explaining that that opened the arena as well as the button on his disk. He slouched over and tried to look comfortable.
"Sweet, since I challenged I'll let you go first!" Moros called out and waited eagerly for Xaiver to make his first move
The defensive game hm? Well Moros had plenty of experience with that, "I'll think I'll mirror your move and leave it to you." Moros called out confidently as he set his cards onto the shimmering black portals. What do this guy use again, wizards or something? The red eyes on his disk gleamed as if in anticipation of the upcoming battle.
Moros looked at his opponent curiously, normally people were just raring to attack. How unusual, well at this rate it wasn't going to be dramatic at all. As he knew from experience most set monsters were only set when the owner wanted it to be destroyed so attacking it would be unwise. However next turn he should start something if his foe didn't. "I'll set one more monster, and 1 more card before turning it back to you."
Xavier worriedly drew his next card. If he didn't get something soon, it would be over. "I set 2 cards facedown, then I summon Spellsword's Apprentice, banishing all spells from my hand deck and graveyard facedown."
Spellsword's Apprentice - ATK 1500
"Now I end." There was a finality to his voice that showed he was confident.
Moros puzzled over the move, while it was nice for him to leave a monster in attack position that was quite a strange effect that it had. Presumably he could use those cards somehow. Well he would carry on with his plan regardless. "Alright, to kick things off I'll activate my trap card Tyrant's Temper! This allows me to tribute one monster making my monsters unaffected by trap cards. I'll tribute my face-down monster, Wight-prince."
His little cackling skeleton flickered and shattered. "Now because of his effect I can send a Lady in Wight and a Skull Servant to the grave with him." Moros called out as two more cards were sent to the grave. "Now I'll normal summon, King of Skull Servants to the field!" Moros announced as his ace monster appeared, boasting a reasonable amount of attack
King of Skull Servants - ATK 3000
"And since you were kind enough to place a monster in attack mode I think I'll destroy it with Vengeance Blast!" A ball of swirling, howling, spirits flew from his royal skeleton to Xaiver's monster
"Not so fast! I activate my Quick-Play spell, Ancient Blade of the First Spellsword! When you declare an attack on a Spellsword monster with less attack than your monster, This card equips to that monster and it gains ATK equal to the difference." Xavier called out triumphantly.
Spellsword's Apprentice - ATK 1500 ---> 3000 ATK
Moros pondered briefly the worth of activating his King's effect to summon him back to the field, but concluded he didn't want to act rashly and banish cards so quickly. After all zombies never stayed in the grave for long. So when his attack landed it exploded in a display of force that sent both monster's shimmering to the graveyard. "I leave it to you." Moros said simply, curious to see his foe's next move.
Turn 7: Xaiver Moros 4000 LP, Cards: 4, 1 facedown, 1 set spell/trap, 1 face up trap Xaiver 4000 LP, Cards: 3, 1 facedown, 3 set spell/trap
"Draw!" Xavier yelled, looking into the stands. Upon close examination, he noticed that Aiden was gone, or at least not visible. Regardless, he continued the duel. "I activate one of my other facedowns, Spellsword's Greed. I shuffle my banished pile and take the top card off of it." One card shot out of his disk and into his hand. "Now I summon my Spellsword's Grand Master in attack mode!"
Spellsword's Grand Master - 1800 ATK
"Now I equip him with the card I drew from my Banished pile, 'Ketisu - Flaming Blade of the Spellswords'!" In 'Grand Master's' left hand appeared a long katana with bright red flames along it. "When a monster is destroyed by a monster with Ketisu, it deals piercing damage. Now, Grand Master, Attack his facedown!"
Moros grinned as his facedown monster was revealed to be his Lady in Wight with its fearsome defense she easily blocked the attack with a wave of her hand, deflecting the flaming sword to the side. Now that his lady was face-up it fit right into his next turn.
Lady In Wight - 2200 DEF
"Well then, I end." Xavier said, lowering his arm slightly.
Turn 8: Moros Moros 4000 LP, Cards: 5, 1 monster, 1 set spell/trap, 1 face up trap Xaiver 4000 LP, Cards: 1, 1 monster, 1 facedown, 3 set spell/trap, 1 equip spell
Moros carefully thought out his next move and eventually decided on what he saw as the simplest and most effective move. "I'll activate the spell card Dark World Dealings, allowing us both to draw, then discard 1 card."
Moros explained as he did so, his actions following his words. "Now that I discarded Mezuki to the graveyard, I'll activate his effect, banishing him to Special Summon my King of Skull Servants back to the field! His 3000 attack is more than enough to overwhelm your monster so I'll destroy it with Vengeful Rebuke!" Moros said as his monster appeared back on the field and simply pointed its bony finger at Xaiver's spellsword, bones flying forward in a deadly hail.
"I activate another one of my facedowns! 'Spellsword's Concealed Blade'! When an opponent's monster declares an attack, I can activate this trap and equip it to one 'Spellsword' monster I control. It gains 500 ATK and cant be destroyed for the rest of this turn." Xavier said, still holding on to the notion that he was winning.
Xaiver - 4000 -> 3200
Moros shurgged, no skin off his back, he still dealt 800 damage right? "Nice save, cant wait to see what you do next." He said excitedly. Now the duel was picking up, good, he wanted to make sure that it looked awesome for the duelist guy so he could get a job or an awesome custom deck or something.
Turn 9: Xaiver Moros 4000 LP, Cards: 5, 2 monsters, 1 set spell/trap, 1 face up trap Xaiver 3200 LP, Cards: 2, 1 facedown, 1 monster, 2 set spell/trap, 1 equip spell, 1 equip trap
"I draw." said Xavier, pulling another card from his disk. "I activate the effect of Spellsword Channeler! I can discard her to place one Mana Counter on each Spellsword monster I control." A white aura began to surround Grand Master. "Then I activate Grand Masters effect, removing his Mana Counter to add any spell from my banished Pile to my hand. I choose Spellswords Grand Blade, boosting him by 1000!"
Spellsword Grand Master 2300 ATK ---> 3300 ATK
"Now, Grand Master, Attack his King!" Xavier cried triumphantly.
His king raised its hands futilely in defense as the overcharged spellsword charged forward slashing him into pieces, traces of power from the combat striking Moros slightly
Moros: 4000 -> 3700
Moros grinned as the pieces reformed back into a complete monster, "Thanks to my Lady In Wight's effect any level 3 or lower zombie monster's can't be destroyed in battle, and that in includes my King!"
"Now to end my turn I activate one of my facedowns, Spell Recollection. When a spell card is destroyed, it is banished instead. Then I activate my last facedown, which is also my field spell, Spellsword Arena, and end." Xavier said, flipping the 2 spells over.
Turn 10: Moros Moros 3700 LP, Cards: 6, 2 monster, 1 set spell/trap, 1 face up trap Xaiver 3200 LP, Cards: 2, 1 facedown, 1 monster, 0 set spell/trap, 1 equip spell, 1 equip trap, 1 continuous Trap, 1 field spell
Moros drew his next card and viewed his hand, his next move was quite simple really. "Now I'll activate the spell card Foolish Burial sending Wightprince from my deck directly to the graveyard. As we both know because of his effect I can send a Lady in Wight and a Skull Servant to the grave with him." Moros announced as he sent the three cards to the graveyard and banished his spell card.
King Of Skull Servants: 3000 -> 6000
"Now that my King is all powered up I'll use him to destroy your grandmaster, make him bow before you with Undead Army!" The skeleton raised his hand calmly and the bones beneath him rose into figures and charged wildly at the well equipped grandmaster slashing and swinging.
Xaiver 3200 -> 500
"I activate my hand trap, Spellsword Savior. While I control 3 or less monsters, I can discard one Spellsword monster to negate the destruction of a Spellsword monster I control." Xavier discarded his second Apprentice with a look of anger. He had to draw right next turn or it would be over.
"Hm, I'll just set two more cards and turn it over to you."
Turn 11: Xaiver Moros 3700 LP, Cards: 3, 2 monster, 3 set spell/trap, 1 face up trap Xaiver 500 LP, Cards: 0, 1 facedown, 1 monster, 0 set spell/trap, 1 equip spell, 1 equip trap, 1 continuous Trap, 1 field spell
"I draw!" Xavier smiled. This was exactly what he needed. "I summon my Phase A monster, Spellsword of Light! Now I control both phase A and Phase B monsters, I'm sure you see where I'm going. First I flip Spellsword of Warding into face up defense-" Xavier was cut off by Moros.
Moros grinned, it looked like one of the cards Cecile had gotten for him would come in handy after all. "Yeah I do see where this is going, so I'll activate the trap card Summon Limit! This prevents both players from summoning monster more than twice per turn, and since you've already normal summoned and flip summoned, you can't do any more summons this turn!" Moros said triumphantly
Xavier grunted, he couldn't even Overlay never mind Phase Shift. "Damn you're good, pass." Xavier said with a slight edge to his voice.
Turn 12: Moros Moros 3700 LP, Cards: 4, 2 monster, 3 set spell/trap, 1 face up trap Xaiver 500 LP, Cards: 0, 0 facedown, 3 monster, 0 set spell/trap, 1 equip spell, 1 equip trap, 1 continuous Trap, 1 field spell
Moros frowned briefly, well cursing should never be part of a duel, no matter which way it was going. He drew his next card and pondered his movements. He could end the duel now unless he was sorely mistaken, but he wasn't sure if this met the criteria for landing a job.
Even if he did want to stretch the duel out how would he fake it? There was just no plausible way that he could see making it any longer. Well he would just have to hope that the duel met expectations and finish it off, "King, end it." Moros said simply and his skeleton raised his arms one last time, conjuring a whirling sphere of destruction and hurled at the grandmaster. His disk glowed with a malicious light as the last of his opponent's LP faded.
Xavier 500 --> 0
Xavier was sent flying back into the button that opened the arena by the force of the blast. He cried out from the pain of the metal guard digging into his back. He stood and the glass began to peel back, revealing the stands in a blinding glow that illuminated every inch of them. Xavier scanned the seats for the face of the Duelist that had encouraged the duel. "Huh?" he muttered as he realized that the man was nowhere to be seen.
"Hey!" Moros called out, confused when he saw that they were alone. "Where'd he go!?" He looked slightly annoyed, how was he supposed to know how well he did if the judge wasn't here!
Xavier turned to Moros, "What kind of guy promises to watch a duel and leaves?!" The annoyance in his voice was more apparent than the despair in his final turn had been. He dashed up into the stands and out the door he had come in through. "Hey! Get ba-" Two large security guards stood nearby the door, one on each side.
"What were you doing in there?" one said, grabbing Xaviers arm.
Moros followed Xaiver, though somewhat more slowly. When the guard apprehended Xaiver he spoke up, "We were just dueling, your top duelist or whatever said we could and that if we make it good enough he would give us a job. Now where'd he go?" Moros asked the guard.
"Aiden left here a while ago, saying two kids might be in the building causing trouble. You seen em?" The guard said, raising an eyebrow.
"Nope, never heard of em, now can we go?" Xavier pleaded, preparing to gnaw his arm off in case of emergency. The man let go of Xaviers arm and nodded, confirming that he was allowing them to leave. Xavier began to walk quickly around a corner, pulling Moros by the sleeve of his shirt. "You think Aiden was talking about us?" He asked just as they rounded the corner, angered at the man.
Moros pondered the question, "Well he could've I suppose. But why would he tell us to duel then leave? If he just wanted to sic the guards on us he could've sent them in there while we were dueling." Moros scratched his head confused. He didn't get this at all, but mostly he wanted to know whether he could get hired or not. "Maybe we can go down to the lobby and ask if we can see him?" Moros offered.
"Yeah, we can try that." Xavier agreed, nodding and looking around. "Do you remember how to get there? I didn't really pay attention when he brought me here..."
Moros shrugged, "I assumed you knew where the lobby was. I came here through some back door, but I don't know where anything else is."
Xavier examined the halls more closely, further down the one they were standing in he recognized a painting, then began to rush down the hall, calling back to Moros to follow him. After a few more corners and a flight of stairs, they were in the main lobby of Industrial Illusions.
Moros smiled, "Awesome." and walked up to the person at the front desk. "Hey, I was wondering if we could talk with Aiden? He said he was going to watch our duel and talk to us afterward but then he left early and we don't know where he is."
The receptionist lifted the phone next to her and dialed some sequence of numbers, but after a few seconds she turned and said, "I'm sorry, it seems like Aiden is out right now. Maybe if you come back later than he might be here to give you that information."
Xavier put his hand on his forehead, this whole situation was getting on his nerves. He looked at Moros and walked out the front door.
"Well alright, thank you lady." Moros said and turned to explain the situation to Xaiver but to his surprise Xaiver had already left. "Aw, I didn't even get to say good game." Moros said under his breath disappointed. Guess he would just look for some more people to duel. How many wins did he need for this tournament anyway?
Dorisma looked at the orb she'd received curiously. This was supposed to do what exactly? She could just hold it in her hand and punch poeple with it but that seemed impractical. Perhaps it was supposed to be some sort of magic? Well then should she just put it in her pack and hope that whatever it did happened from there? Regardless it seemed they were stuck here for the day until the dragon finished forging the new weapons, a good time to understand whatever this orb was. It seemed Deravan was worried about the dragon not making it through another day, a reasonable assertion given its rate of decay. Rather than offering her own opinion, she simply sat down and closed her eyes, focusing on the orb
Regus jumped a little at the knock. Nobody knocked on his door. Nobody knew him. Was it because of the bank? Regus threw on a shirt and shorts and cautiously walked up to the door peeking through the peephole. Just a package? Still highly suspicious Regus grabbed it and ducked back inside, setting it on his bed rummaging through it. Whoever the 'Boss' was it seemed he'd taken an unhealthy interest in Regus. He set the clothes and the nice mask aside and opened the envelope.
A cold chill ran through him at the sight of his face circled and the careful documentation of the crime. Then the last piece of paper, the letter. 200 thousand a week!? Not to mention the literal million bucks if he completed the job. This 'Boss' had far too much money to be throwing it around like that. The brief thought that this was a set-up quickly left. If this Boss had wanted him in jail it looked like it wouldn't be very hard for him to have it arranged. Regus read through the letter again, looked at the clothes, examined the laptop.
Too good to pass up. All he had to do was rob a bank and do some odd jobs? Heck he'd already robbed a bank, though like the letter said, spending his money without drawing attention might be difficult and he hadn't even tried it yet. Regus booted up the laptop and googled the closest bank. Last time he'd been desperate and had gotten lucky and even then he'd gotten caught by the security cameras. This time he'd go in with a plan.
Krysthane sat in her hospital bed staring out the window dully. How had it all gone so wrong? It had been their last mission before graduating, their final senior mission. It had been just an A rank mission, not a cakewalk but nothing they weren't ready for. Exterminate a pack of grim that was getting dangerous. A long ride in a helicopter and they'd dropped right into the forest, all they had to do was follow the path of destroyed foliage. They rushed in, attacking in their normal formation against groups of grim. Laughing and joking as they killed them. They'd never seen it coming.
Krsythane looked at her broken legs, her arm with its shattered bones, never to be used properly again. She'd been told she'd barely be able to walk, her days as a hunter were over before they even began. Krsythane looked at the keen edge of the scapel she held with her one good hand, attached to an arm encrusted in a cast. She'd held all their lives, and dropped them. The scapel quickly snicked through the tubes attached to her body and they fell to the ground limply, dripping liquid onto the floor. Seconds later a quiet beeping sound began, one that would alert someone to come help her, but far too late. The scalpel blade lightly touched the skin of her neck, trembling ever so slightly, guided awkwardly by her wrapped arm. Why didn't they know to stop her? It didn't matter. She never should've made it out anyway.
One gentle push and the green hospital gown was quickly stained the same deep red as her hands had been since she'd left that mission. Her eyes stared at the red flowing liquid, for some reason it didn't hurt at all. There was just an overwhelming sense of relief. This was her last mistake, she didn't have to worry about it anymore. Nurses rushed in too late to do anything. Krysthane watched them with her dying eyes, no light left them, for the light had left when her team mates did. Maybe if she was lucky, it would join them.

Return- Teleports the user to a preset location that can be altered through a small ritual.
Trial By Combat: Remove either player's abilities to use magic and skills, reducing the battle to passive skills, armour, and raw stats.
Just You And Me: By stamping his foot Jor can enclose both him and his opponent in a powerful earth barrier that turns the fight into a slugfest, something he excels at.
Skills:
Racial Skills
Adaptive Scales: A lizard man skill that allows them to change their defenses according to the damage they've taken. Over the course of a fight any damage taken increases Jor's defense against that type of damage. Only a limited amount of defense can be gained this way meaning different attack types are more effective.
Scale Assault: A lizard man with this skill can launch his scales at enemies like missiles. These missles apply both DEF and ATK for damage and while they grow back quickly they lose the effects of adaptive scales, resetting the process.
Heaven Bolt: An attack that involves jumping into the sky and spinning to gather force and speed. Then the user comes down in an axe kick with devastating force, alternatively the tail can be used to attack as well.
Don't look into his eyes- If Jör makes eye contact with someone he can affect them with a crippling fear the will make less resistant enemies cower helplessly. Even high level players are forced to flinch from the sudden wave of killing intent.Description not stolen from naruto
Permanent Strike- A wrenching palm strike attack with a semi-unique effect, it causes the struck target to be unable to receive healing for up to an hour.
Awe-Inspiring Might- Jör can take such an impressive stance for such an amazing punch, that his opponent becomes rooted to the ground, unable to dodge the blow. Reputed to be strong enough to destroy mountains, it bears a day long cooldown.
Mirage Assault- Jör can essentially attack while maintaining the illusion of doing nothing at all. He can stand in-front of an opponent with arms folded, then they can suddenly be reeling from a savage unseen kick to the stomach, all the while it looks as though he hasn't moved. Uses this most often to fool people into thinking he's some kind of mage or has telepathy.
Strength of The Lizard God- This skill passively allow the user to mentally dominate any lizard-men as well amplifying all natural traits of a lizardman. This skill can be activated to transform into a being with nearly world-class power. The user can teleport to anything in sight at will and all parameters are tripled. Status effects do not affect him, he has every kind of sight imaginable. Shortly put, he becomes a deity for 10 seconds. After this time wears off he is knocked out and his HPs can't be raised above 1 for 24 hours. Of course he has a hideout several hundred miles underground that he teleports to at the start of the 10th second for just this purpose but still.
Acutail- A series of five rapid strikes with his tail that paralyzes the opponent in the legs, arms, and chest, in that order.
Furious Assault- A skill that involves attacking with all five limbs at the same time, a distinctive skill of the Five Limb Fighter class
Power Of A Race- A skill that can only be learned after achieving certain level in racial jobs. This skill prevents both the target and the user from using class skills, simply by activating.
Passive Skills
It'll grow back- Lizard men naturally have an extraordinary ability to regenerate, allowing them to heal constantly, especially out of combat. Even in combat a missing limb can be grown back in minutes allowing them to thrive in battles of attrition.
Burr- Lizard-men naturally take massive amounts of frost damage
Second Eyelid- Lizard-men naturally have a high resistance to any sight-impairing effect.

Bio:
Jör was yet another kid working his way out of highschool and feeling overwhelmed, under-prepared, and in short not good enough. Of course that was nothing new, after all he'd had to deal with that all the way up to highschool as well. Not the greatest student, not the greatest athlete. Not even that funny, but Jör was good at video games.
Ha not, he was abysmal. Others would play through puzzle games and understand it with east, naturally understand how fighting games work, create strategies easily for games like Age of Empires. Not Jör, he could only make it through with guides and walkthroughs. But hey, everyone else did it too right? Even for that, Jör sucked at multiplayer games more than he did at anything else.
Never the less he was determined to make a new start here. After looking meticulously through guide after guide, eating breathing and sleeping the wiki pages, he finally made a character. This character had a purpose, to be better than anyone. Not at everything of course, that was impossible, his goal was simply to be able to beat anyone. What he couldn't do through natural understanding he would do through thousands of theory crafted characters. His character was set up to take other characters out of their comfort zones, whether it be might or magic. To be able to take insane boss monsters by himself, to be able to beat anything. It didn't work. His build was well researched and decent enough and its own.
If Jor didn't make impulse decisions now and then. Then there was the matter that although his character was strong, the player was not. Even with all the tools at his disposal, just like always, Jor couldn't keep up. He fell into a slump for several weeks, defeated. Even after all his work, it still wasn't good enough. Desperate Jor began wandering. At max level and all he could do was tank. Sadly a tank was nothing on his own. His healing skills weren't enough to keep up with high level monsters on their own like he hoped. He'd become just another meatshield. Then he stumbled across the dwarf king Toasty as he was farming for high level materials. Apparently the king saw something in for he offered Jor something special if he joined the guild. Seeing no other reason to do otherwise Jor accepted. Once they arrived back at the guild hall and Jor finished marveling at it, the king revealed the reward. It was a special set of armour that he'd crafted on a whim and hadn't bothered trying to sell due to the very specific criteria. The Scale God set. Reinvigorated by the discovery of this wondrous gift Jor once again ventured into the world, this time to help his guild. None were more devoted than he was to helping the guild develop. In fact Jor was the one to suggest the underground hotspring that his lizard character liked so much and directed the regiment of dwarves that had built it. Determined to prove his usefulness Jor even went so far as to create an NPC that could serve as a guard for the guild and help farm materials easily. A faithful servant to the guild and happy that he had a purpose that he could serve Jor was deeply saddened by the news that the servers would shut down. Jor took the day off from everything and waited with the rest of the guild listening to the awful countdown that signaled the end of the one game that he didn't suck at. Perhaps a trivial thing for some, but Jor had enjoyed his time with the guild more than mere words could express. So when the clock began counting up none were more overjoyed than him.

Bio:
An NPC created by Jör to be a foil and to help him become less awkward with girls. She's rather overbearing and her skill-set is also rather opposite, yet similar to his. Technically she can do absolutely nothing on her own, yet with her armies she can defeat things that even Jör would find difficult to defeat.
Krysthane remained as serious as she could while eating the donuts as cleanly as she could and looking over the papers. Her eyes lit up in recognition of the Cat Nap. Maybe they could grab a ride from the guys, maybe learn a thing or two while they were at it. After all if anything else had happened they might very well know about it, it was at least worth checking out. They'd stop there first and figure out where to go from there, since she didn't think they really had any other leads. "Of course Officer, we'll make sure to do our best and keep any information where it belongs.

Name: Phoenix Parents: Krysthane + Amarath Age: 18 Gender: Female Race: Human Weapon: A naginata as tall as she is, which admittedly isn't that tall. The dark wooden base is thicker than normal and has delicate patterns of flame wrapped around it outlined in red running up the pole. The blade itself is a bright, vivid red color that is designed to draw attention to it. As for its capabilities, the blade can be fired at an opponent much like a shotgun, breaking into small shards and launching forward, proving devastating at close range and effective at medium ranges. The small shards are still attached to the weapon via strings, so it can be flung around like a flail or 'reloaded'. In addition sections of the staff can peel away into stands and Phoenix can fire focused aura bullets through the staff like a mini-gun. Dust can be used to alter the bullets or special ammo can be loaded as well.
Semblance: Emotion Manifestation. Phoenix had abilities that alter based on her emotional state. When she is calm she can process information faster than normal. When angered her aura becomes more powerful. When sad the temperature drops and she can run faster. When excited small sparks fly through the air and her senses are enhanced. Etc.
Personality: A person that's somewhat reserved in general, not prone to excessive bursts of emotion. She'll still have tears in her eyes when old yeller dies but she won't be bawling on the floor. Phoenix tends to lean towards the erudite side of things, quickly grasping concepts and enjoys exploring knowledge. Though she isn't a social butterfly she can talk to unknown people with ease, if somewhat bluntly. Phoenix simply has trouble developing into a more than superficial relationship with anyone. When things get tough she prefers to think of a new way of doing it rather than toiling through it. Failure is just another step on the path to success, albeit an annoying one.
Appearance:
Biography:Phoenix was a street girl, only heaven knows how she made it as far as she did but when Krysthane found her she was about 8, sitting down in an alleyway reading a book. After talking with Amaranth she agreed that they could adopt the girl. Without consulting the girl in question of course. Never the less Phoenix was eager to be in a house where she got a three square meals a day and then some. Initially that was all she came for but as time passed her two moms grew on her. Eventually Krysthane found out that Phoenix had always admired hunters and secretly wanted to be one but had never considered the possibility of being one. Then and there Krysthane decided to prepare her for the life of a hunter. A fitness program was started and Phoenix began becoming thoroughly educated between the two of her ex-hunter parents. Though not without some reluctance, to Phoenix the idea of becoming a hunter was as foreign as sprouting wings and flying. However with both her moms coaxing her through it she eventually warmed up to the idea.
Krysthane yelled out one more time, "Are you sure you've got everything?". An irritated voice called out in reply, "For the 15th time mom, yes I've got everything. More than everything in fact." though the last part was muttered. Phoneix came into view with a red face dragging her overloaded suitcase down the stairs with some difficulty. "You know I just think you should prepared." Krysthane said in her defense. "Mom," Phoniex said calmly coming to a halt at the bottom of the stairs, "I can probably graduate with everything you made me pack and I'm set for anything short of the apocalypse." Krysthane grinned, "Well I suppose that'll do for now, just one more thing, and I think you'll actually want to bring this along..." With that mysterious statement Krysthane vanished into the next room. Phoneix gave a skeptical look and released her suitcase walking slowly after her excitable parent, expecting something silly like streamers, noise makers, and a cake. Instead to her surprise Phoenix saw something she'd only dreamed about having. "How do you like it?" Krystahne asked proudly gesturing to the floating weapon.
Phoenix let out an uncharacteristic squeal of delight and hugged the weapon, sparks flying through the air. Krysthane waved her hands as the sparks landed on her aura, tinging quietly and she was forced to discreetly crush a tiny flame that was starting on the curtains. "Its straight from my sketchbook!" Phoneix grabbed the weapon and quickly shifted through its forms and gave it a few test swings. "Everything's just right!" she exclaimed, somewhat in surprise. Krysthane gave a proud grin, luckily it seemed her breach of privacy had been ignored, at least for now. "Well I learned a thing or two at Beacon you know." Phoenix gave a sigh of somewhat bewildered happiness. "Well thank you, now then, let's get going already.", but she said it with a smile that lightened the sting of her words.
"Come on mom what am I nine?" a muffled voice cried out. Krysthane reluctantly released her child from the terror known as the hug. "Gawds." The indignant voice called out once again and Phoenix stared up her mom in mostly mock anger. "Oh come on, I couldn't help myself when you looked so nervous and unprepared." Krysthane explained jokingly. "You must've had me confused with someone else then." Phoenix said in that same tone of voice. Amarath chimed in her part, "We both know our birdie can more than take care of herself, right?" Phoenix nodded, "See at least someone knows how I feel." Krysthane wiped away a mock tear, "I'm wounded, my little girl doesn't love me and my own wife has turned against me? Shucks you know I just want the best for you." Phoenix made an exaggerated sigh and said "Yeah, yeah, I love you both, can I go now?" Krysthane kissed Phoenix on the forehead one last time, despite the others' groan of protest, and said softly, "Yeah, I love you too." and took a step back looking happily at her kid.
Amarath stepped up and said, "You know what we taught you and remember, don't let those boys mess with you, you mess with them, got it?" Phoenix nodded dutifully, then said dryly, "Either of you want to gave me anything else, like another lesson on the meaning of life? 'Cause if so I'm going to have to go to Beacon next year." Krysthane waved her on and Phoenix turned away, dragging her overloaded suitcase in one hand and carrying her new toy in the other, and getting on the airship.
Krysthane and Amarath watched her go silently. Meanwhile as the airship slowly took off Phoenix looked down at her parents as they slowly receded into the distance and put one hand against the clear glass. "Love you guys, I won't mess this up." she said quietly to herself and turned away taking her seat. Together her parents turned away as the airship finally passed out of sight.
"And so have I a noble father lost. A sister driven into desperate terms... But my revenge will come" (4. 7. 27-31) Laertes proclaimed his need for vengeance after Hamlet has killed his father and thus driven his sister insane. Laertes is one of several tragic heros in the play Hamlet and both receives, as well as deals, ample amounts of misery and suffering.
Laertes initially seems as though he won't be one of our many tragic characters. However, this is quickly proven wrong when he returns after his father's death. He is furious and seeks the most dire form of vengeance. What's more, even though she isn't his top concern per say, Ophelia has lost her mind and he grieves for it. "Dear maid, kind sister, sweet Ophelia! O heavens is 't possible a young maid's wits. Should be as mortal as an old man's life? Nature is fine in love, and, where 'tis fine, it sends some precious instance of itself after the thing it loves." (4. 5. 180-187). Even though he tried to warn her about Hamlet, Hamlet still ended up breaking her heart, though not in the way Laertes expected.
Laertes truly proves himself to be a conduit of misfortune and misery in the case of Hamlet. He first conflicts with Laertes as Laertes mourns for Ophelia and Hamlet tries to one up him. Furious at the prince, Laertes briefly scuffles before being broken apart even going so far as to curse Hamlet to hell. Of course Hamlet was the once who killed his father and caused his sister to go insane resulting in her death. The misery Hamlet has brought upon Laertes gives him every right to be outraged. However Laertes is able to return some of the pain he feels when he strikes Hamlet with the poisoned blade, resulting in Hamlet's death. What goes around comes around after all.
Initially, Laertes is furious at the king and demands answers regarding his father's death. However the clever king is able to twist Laertes into working for him, turning his hatred towards Hamlet. The king causes Laertes to duel Hamlet, resulting in the former's humiliations at his better's hands. Though as with Hamlet, Laertes is able to return the pain. In his dying breaths he reveals the truth of the matter, turning the spotlight to Claudius resulting in the murdering king's death. "Lo, here i lie, never to rise again. Thy mother's poisoned. I can no more. The King, the King's to blame" (5. 2. 349-351).
Laertes shows himself to be a magnet for trouble. However he also deals just as much as he takes. Laertes' suffering is not much different from any of the other characters. They all go through pain and they all push it onto others. This cycle of suffering is what pushes the play onwards. First Claudius causes the old king Hamlet suffering. Then Hamlet suffers and is spurned on by dead Hamlet to make Claudius suffer. Polonuis makes Hamlet suffer and Hamlet kills Polonuis. That suffering drives Ophelia crazy and drives Laertes to see vengeance. The king uses Laertes, Laertes betrays the king, and Hamlet kills the king, then dies.
Natural theology is information based on facts and oberservations
Revealed Theology is based on revelations and works of faith.
The law of contradiction explains that a thing can not be both true and untrue at the same time, which is different from a paradox. It is a main part of the reasoning and deductive process involved in Scholasticism.
Scholasticism is a way type of thinking or belief, that logic is used to understand things, from normal interactions to religion. It primarly focuses on using reasoning and inference to solve problems.
The problem of evil is the difficulty in explain how evil exists with the presence of an all good and all powerful and knowing god. It is a key argument against religion and a source of much controversy.
Thomas Aquinas believes that love is an act of free will. God will eterenally love you but how you choose to react to that love is your own choice. You can return it with love or choose not to. Love is essentaily the prime virtue and should be sought at all times but it is your own choice to do so.
Five Ways. The Argument from Motion: Everything is in motion and that motion is caused by something. We can link this motion backwards until we arrive at the first mover, who must be unmovable.
The Argument from Efficient Causes: Nothing can exsist prior to itself and everything is caused by something. Therefor there must be a first cause, or it would extend infinitly and nothing would exsist.
Argument from Possibility and Necessity: Every being is a contingent being and has a time and reason to exist. But this is not at all times, so there could be a time where nothing exsisted. But if there was nothing then, nothing could exsist after taht point. Therefore not every being is a contingent being, something must have created other beings and not recieved its own being.
Argument from Gradation of Being: Everything has Graduation some better or worse. There is a maximum of a thing, something is hotter, more close to hottest. The maximum of any one thing casuses all those things. There must be some maximum things taht has caused all other maximum things, god.
Argument from Design: Natural things are not random and most of them lack knowledge. Therefor they are directed by some thing. Therefor something directs all things, this is God.
Argument of Design is weakest. It begins with the assumption that all natural things are not random, when in fact they could be so. The intricacy or detail of a thing is not reason for it to not be random, it merely decreases the chances of it being so. Though you may deem it unlikely that all things are not random, it is still an inaccurate assumption to base the existence of a god upon, when all things could function without the god to direct them, merely through chance arriving at a purpose or goal.
The Traditional Juedo-Christian God generates the concept of God because it presents him as all good and all powerful, which would result in him eliminating all evil. Thomas approaches this by saying that God must create free moral agents, who he can't influence or they would not be free moral. Humans are naturally tended to become corrupted, a concept of original justice. Finally he says that the existence of evil is a mystery that humans can not understand. this approach seems weak to me as it does not solve the question, merely shoves the issue to faith.
Aristtole argues that happiness is a virtue obtained, something that is acquired throughout one's life. Happiness is a measure of how you lived your life, it can not be gained or lost in moments. The Hedonists argued that happiness was only momentary, that the moment was all that mattered. Do what gives you joy, nothing else matters. I think that Aristotle's idea is superior. The hedonist view resulsts in all those stoires about people who have everything but are not truely happy. The Aristotle view results in those that are poor and have nothing.
Name: Arnold Gender: Male Age: 23 Height: 5 feet 10 inches Weight: 142 lbs. Build: Tall and Lanky, seems like he would play basketball if he didn't look quite so scrawny. Complexion: Lightly tanned Hair Color: Light Brown Eye Color: Blue / Green
Distinguishing Marks or Features: Heterochromia
History: Arnold was born somewhere in northern California. Not the northern California with the nice beaches and stuff but in the real northern California with the mountains and rivers and forests. Bright kid from the get go. Talking and walking a few years earlier then he most babes. With a collage professor for a dad and a judge for a mom it was bound to rub off on him. He grew up in a nice small town where rumors spread faster than wildfire and were twice as dangerous. Still he enjoyed it, his brains and strange eyes quickly made a group of friends. Once high school started up a few buddies of his encouraged him to play football. Figuring, why not, he tried out and found out he had asthma. Really bad once it started. Enough so that playing sports wasn't really an option, much to Arnold's disappointment. Still high school was fun, classes were easy, and life was good. Arnold was used to getting what he wanted and being smarter than everyone else. Though he doesn't flaunt it, he does know it. His first few years of collage were much of the same, teacher's loved him and his grades were exceptional. Life is boring right now, Arnold wants something more challenging but doesn't know where to find it.
Relic Shape: Gear Substance: Ice Link: Old-fashioned watch. Function: The wielder of this relic can create structures out of ice.
