Yes I would allow that but being half human his powers would be watered down.

Deus Est Machina

Human Name: Machina
Age: Seven chronologically, but for all intents and purposes around seventeen years of age.
Human Appearance:

Bio: Machina is less her name and more like her title. She was not "born" in a conventional sense so much as she was "Created" through the efforts of various craft gods to see if they could create a being of godly powers through mortal means. Deus is the first of her kind, something of a prototype, and hasn't spent much time outside her creator's laboratories. She's going to this school to learn more about the gods and to see what sort of powers and abilities she could develop.
Parents: Various gods of machines and crafting (Hephaestus and the like). No one actually has stepped forward to claim her as their own, meaning that Machina has to figure out her own god.
God Name: Deus Est Machina
God Appearance:

Symbols:

Alignment:
Lawful Good - While technically suppose to be Lawful Neutral Machina is sentient enough to form her own thoughts and opinions and sees that it would be more beneficial for her to actively assist others instead of merely waiting to be used.
Weapon:
Guns and other modern weapons. She can also use floating blades and a weapon known as "The Blood Scythe", however these are largely ceremonial and not often used as her serious weapons.
Animal:
Doesn't really have any "Animal" followers, though she does have various robotic versions of various animals and creatures. She herself prefers humanoid robots as her animal servants.
Followers: Those who have more faith in technology and science than in religion or nature, atheist if they venerate logic over faith (Albeit they worship her unknowingly), and robots, machines, or AI's who have the intelligence to have a religious preference even if they don't exactly worship her.

Really? I just looked over our character submissions and thought "You know what we need? Machine Gods. And guns. Maybe some more boobies too. Don't I have an image for that somewhere...?" And so Machina is born.

Well, she is seven years old. HOWEVER! She has the intelligence and body of a seventeen year old. She's much younger than she looks, pretty much. You know, for people who want to ask how old she is and gets freaked out when she says she's only seven.

I don't really know what animals would really fit for a machine god so the next best thing I could think of was robots. If it matters, she prefers humanoid robots, like mechs and stuff like that.

I could always remove the whole Atheist part. Lots of people worship machines and technology, and even more people use it religiously (Like us!). A certain caveat with Machina however is that her creators wanted to create a god using mortal methods that did not need "Faith" to sustain it. A sort of "Alternative" power source for them. Machina doesn't get stronger with more people believing in her, she gets stronger as mortals become more technologically advanced, since that's her sphere of influence. Unless the world gets bombed back to the stone age, Machina should grow more powerful with age.

You make my tired brain hurt. How can she be seven but have the intelligence and body of a body when she was 'born'. I'm not ruling out your robots I just don't know if thy will fit the requirements I have in mind. I'll have to do more research. Some for your 'power' source. It gives her an unfair advantage for what I have in mind for that challenge.

LOL well I can't tell you everything. People are divided. They know about the gods. Some worship, some don't. As for the time period, that's going to be VERY flexible in this RP

Sure you might not believe in a sun god, but you still need the sun, and in doing so you put a bit of faith that the sun keeps doing as the sun does and it gives the various sun gods some faith. It's a bit trickier with more metaphorical concepts like hell, but giving how many people want to send their undesirables there, I'm sure Satan doesn't have to worry about people not believing that he or his domain exist.

People believing in your patents won't necessarily power your god or goddess. But the rest is close enough to what I had in mind

As I've said, she was not "Born", but "Created". Where others had to grow up and learn, Machina had her body and mind already formed and put together, you know like a machine. You computer might only be a few years old, maybe three maybe six, but you could "ask" it any question and it can get you an answer (Via the internet). That's sort of what Machina is like mentally. And the gods didn't feel it necessary for her to have to go through the usual "Baby-child-teenager-adult" stage of grown like other mortals and put her into a healthy physical body. She is certainly very different from your average god, which is quite something to say.

I chose technology for Machina's sphere of power simply because, in our modern times, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who worships the gods of old. It's unfortunate, but true. And while I won't go so far as to say that people worship machines, you can't deny that people use and rely on them. Machina gains power as people use machines, which in this day and age, happens to be pretty much all the time. She is, for all intents a purposes, and fairly "New" concept; she wouldn't have existed back in the 19th century or earlier. She, like America, is a new super power that all the older powers don't like because of how much influence and strength she has compared to her relative age.
