The year is 3900 BBY, over 1000 years since the Great Hyperspace War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, ending in the defeat of the Sith Empire on the Second Battle of Korriban and appearing to have bested the Sith Empire, scattering and destroying the remaining survivors of this dark Empire. Of course, as suspected by many within the Republic chain of command, the Sith were not gone for good, too many were unaccounted for, especially notable figures such as Naga Sadow himself, and his personal Massassi warriors. For this reason, the Galactic Republic tasked one of its more talented intelligence officers with assembling a task force that was capable of tracking down these remenants and dispatching them, or holding them in place long enough for an emergency force of the nearest military vessels to arrive and obliterate the holdings of the surviving Sith Empire warriors and command. With this taskforce given respectable leeway and funding, the Galactic Republic figured it was safe from the Sith Empire regrouping enough to be a threat, and for nearly 1100 years, it worked, new generations of intelligence and military operators assigned to this taskforce to ensure the Sith Empire remained scattered, and holdouts were eliminated.

However, at the dawn of the year 3900 BBY, a disturbing event occurred that tipped off the Republic Anti-Sith taskforce something was missed, something big. A well patrolled, but distant, system went silent, no Republic channels registering any response when updates were requested. Scouts from the taskforce arrived to find the Republic stronghold obliterated, and the system competely sacked. However, corpses bearing the sigils of the old Sith Empire were found, although they were clearly only missed due to their locations. The scouts sent reports back to the main body of the Taskforce, who were deeply disturbed by this turn of events. The damage to the Republic outpost didn't match any known siege weapons or tactics, Sith or otherwise, which meant it was something new, or unknown. Said weapon apparently could vaporize such a fortified location without giving them a chance to defend themselves. Such attacks, in varying degrees, became more common in the outskirts of Republic space, and even ships in transit were not safe, ships in hyperspace coming out in pieces, clearly hit by powerful munitions. Whatever the Sith had now, the Republic was reliant on its Taskforce to find what is causing all this, and a means to strike against this newfound threat against the Galactic Republic.

So, this RP will be run in an episodic manner, with the plot moving forward based on the actions and success (or failure) of each side in each episode. The Sith come out on top one episode, the reprecussions might show up later on in another episode, and vice versa. And there might be a case where the Republic might win the battle, but still suffer in the long run for one reason or another. So, keep that in mind IC wise, your character might need to consider whats going on in the long and short term (If thats something they care about, of course) before acting. Just some food for thought. And there will be some downtime if folks want it for character development between allies.

Beyond this, I'll keep a chronicle of the summary of the events going on and outcome of past Episodes, so this way, its easy for folks to jump in later on. They can check out the summarized episode list, get a gist of whats going on, so on and so on. And that is another note, even after we start, this will remain open to new players, since it wont be normally too difficult to find a good place to slot a person in, even mid episode, since more than just the player characters will be active at any one time, so no worries there either.
Alright, we all know em and love em, so here are a coupe guidelines/rules to keep in mind for all you fine folks.

1.Should go without saying at this point, but don't godmod, metagame, kill others without permission, keep romance PG13 where everyone else can see it (And if the parties involved want to progress further, take it to Pms), and all that jazz.

2.Some folks are going to be playing some powerful folks, certainly, but keep in mind, no one is unstoppable. Everyone has weakness, strengths, personality flaws and traits, all that. Just something to keep in mind when designing your characters. This is war, so people can die as well, so if someone does kick the bucket, feel free to roll up a new character and jump right back in.

3.Just a note rather than an actual rule, but I'll be, once we are ready to start, getting PM threads set up for folks on both sides, so information that those characters would know can be more easily spread and plans can be formed more easily.

4.Treat each other, at least OOCily, with some respect and courtesy. I dont expect perfect harmony and agreement from people at all times, but act like adults, and we're cool.

5.I tend to prefer a quality over quantity when it comes to posts, but try to get at least one paragraph down if at all possible. And if you can't post, for whatever reason, just say something in PM or OOC wise. Whatever the reason, I don't mind holding someone's character NPC wise if something came up. I do reserve the right to move on over folks if they vanish without saying anything.

6.Have fun! There isn't much point if it becomes a chore, so if anyone has questions, comments, concerns, ideas, and such, post them or PM them, I'll work with anyone who has concerns or questions to the best of my ability.

7.Some other notes and guidelines. The year is 3900 BBY, keep that in mind. There aren't TIE Fighters or other iconic fighters and craft like that. Generally, the movie stuff wont be seen, at all. Think more Knights of the Old Republic for a tech base. I wont be a stickler for precision, since specific tech info is sparse, but as long it makes sense for the time period, we're cool. Same goes for powers and techniques not developed yet, for the same reasons. Roles on both sides are pretty open, but the CO of the Taskforce, and the Dark Lord/Lady of the Sith Empire Remnants, I will be managing those two roles.
Alright, with them out of the way, here's a basic CS skeleton to work off, but feel free to add whatever you feel necessary. This is by no means comprehensive, nor do I intend it to be, just covering vital stuff. I'll leave the (hopefully) self explanatory stuff blank.

Name:
Gender:
Species:
Age: Some species are longer lived than others, but keep in mind, if a human is 90 something years old, odds are, they aren't a soldier on the front lines much anymore.
Homeworld:

Physical Appearance: Feel free to use an image or description, or a combination of the two. Try to keep the blatently anime stuff to a minimum (Don't got a problem with the art style, just doesn't fit very well for Star Wars in my humble opinion). No problem with other artforms, drawings, and such though. I would appreciate at least a paragraph for a typed description of their physical appearance.

Personality: What kind of person are they under fire, off duty, on the job, dealing with friends, family, enemies, ect ect? I figure get at least a paragraph here, so folks have a baseline to expect as the character develops. (Sidenote: I usually consider a paragraph about 4-5 complete sentences.

Skills: What training and abilities does your character have?

Equipment: What kind of weapons, tools, and other personal belongings does this person have?

Powers: This is a force user only section, all you folks that don't have that force connection, feel free to drop this section, blank it, N/a it, whatever floats your boat.

Flaws: Is your character narcassistic to a fault, unable to pilot a ship to save his life, what might hinder and make things challenging for your character?

Personal History: This one will be at least 2-3 paragraphs, at least. Where are they from, what molded them growing up, why are they serving who they serve, and what kind of history do they have together? Lot of stuff can be covered, so I don't reckon 2-3 paragraphs will be that hard.

Extra/Other: Anything I miss above, that you think needs noted? Go for it here, or modify the CS and add it yourself! Just make sure everything is addressed before adding more, please and thank you.

Name:Lucina Coltims
Gender: Female
Age: 22

Physical Appearance: Lucina
Personality: Lucina forms attachments to easily which can cause her great pain when someone she likes is hurt or killed it is a weakness for someone such as her, she is quick to let her emotions get the best of her which is not suitable for someone who wishes to be a Jedi consular, but other than that she's a happy person who loves and cherishes all life and is known to heal enemies as well as allies, she is very curious and anxious to learn new things, Lucina also can't sit still for the life of her she always has to be on the move.

Skills: Lightsaber training, force training.

Powers: Force healing: Lucina's strongest skill and power she has the ability to make a great healer someday but her emotions always take hold and make the ability weaker.
Force Blind:She can make a blinding light appear from her hand to temporarily blind enemies and allies alike.
Force Grip, push, and pull:The basics on how to manipulate and move objects towards her force push is particularly nasty as it's powerful enough to bowl over large groups

Flaws: Lucina is over-emotional a trait that isn't exactly good in a Jedi as they tend to dominate her and her Jedi master fears that it will take her down a dark path, she forms her attachments to easily and when someone she cares for gets hurt she can't focus, she also doesn't know anything about Mechanics

Personal History: Born in the Undercity section of Taris, Lucina's family didn't have much of anything, but still they were a happy family and a family that was happy and undivided her mother would stay home while her father would work, her father had a good job he even got to go to the surface city which Lucina only dreamed of going to for his job. But at the time Lucina's father was a gambler and lost money the family needed on Pazak, leaving them debts to pay. When Lucina was six years old an Jedi came to the Undercity and found little Lucina was quite strong in the force. the Jedi offered to pay off the families debts in exchange for allowing Lucina to go to the Jedi academy.

Her family thought on it while the Jedi went off on his mission, eventually after much arguing her father won with the point of "They are probably going to take her anyways." Her mother just sighed and allowed it. True to his word the Jedi payed their debts and took Lucina to the academy, she never saw that Jedi again after he left her there and for the first time in her entire life she felt alone in the universe. But that feeling of loneliness didn't last long as training started she didn't feel much of anything except exhaustion and pain a feeling that she absolutely hated.

But as training went on she grew used to it, as she was allowed to interact with other initiates she made friends, they trained together ate together and eventually this group of friends became quite close even into the waning days of their training when they were assigned masters and sent out into the galaxy they still kept in contact. Her and her master were sent to find groups of sith, it was during one such encounter she found her talent for healing. Saving many a man, but still her attachments to the men and women she served with on these missions would get in the way but she never heeded her masters warning about attachments.

Orders changed eventually and they were assigned to Task Force Eplison, she and her master were now to operate outside standard operating procedure and listen directly to the commanding officer of the unit, as well as fulfill the mission given to them by the Jedi Council of finding any sith lords and dark Jedi, find their plans and report them to the Council.

- Name -
Varon Baal

- Gender -
Male

- Age -
Unknown

- Race -
Unknown

- Homeworld -
Bosthirda by birth, but he resides on Korriban

- Physical Appearance -

- Personality -
Baal displays all the "virtues" expected from a Sith - unscrupulousness, cruelty, cunning and ambition. He is a very cold-hearted individual, he has never trusted anyone since joining the Sith, a trait he learnt in his early childhood that helped him survive. He rarely voices his true opinion and tends to alter orders more to his liking. He doesn't take prisoners and he feeds of the strife of others. Like all of his kin, he seeks to extend his influence as far as he can.

- Skills -
Incredibly skilled with a light-saber
Force training

- Powers -
Force Push/Pull
Force Jump/sprint
Force Masking (Mask his presence)
Force Dark Aura (You feel him before you see him)
Force of Shadow (He can darken his surroundings)

- Flaws -
Cannot pilot ships
Will not help or aid others (Even other Sith he fights beside)
Holds grudges

- Personal History -
Baal never knew his place of birth, but his first memories began on Bosthirda. Controlled by the Sith it was a difficult place to live, constant acts of spite and cutthroat personalities heavily impacted on him in his youth, he spent a few years there with a family that had seemingly took him in but it did not take long for the Sith to knock at their door, Baal had an affinity with the force even at a young age and that is why he attracted the attentions of the Sith. His pseudo parents were killed when they resisted the order to give up their adopted child and he was taken from their cold lifeless clutches. Whisked away in secret, he soon found himself on Korriban.

It was there that he learnt the art of survival. Living in the Sith academy he was treated like a wounded animal, 'better off dead' they labeled him. He was forced to use his primal instincts. Quickly gaining notoriety, he became vicious and cruel even to the standards of the Sith. He recognized that almost all of his compatriots focused on their hatred, strife and sorrow to fuel themselves in battle. Baal was different. Born suffering. He did not have to focus on his hatred, almost the opposite he had to repress it at times, lest it consume him.

Rising through the ranks of the academy, Baal saw initiates both fail and surpass him. He wasn't a prodigy, but he was confident that his destiny would be great, he would play a significant part in the grand design. He soon graduated from the academy and was taken under the wing of a Sith Knight. Baal has never named his master but always speaks of him fondly, often describing him as the 'stepping stone' to his current standing within the Sith.
It is believed that Baal's master is no longer alive. Questioned on the matter, the Sith used tricks and powers to unlock the truth in Baal's mind, but to no avail. The sinister answer, that every interrogation resulted in, "My master did not die by my hands".

- Equipment -
Lightsaber
Gas Mask with various inbuilt communications and scanning systems

Well, if the Sith are being all strategic and secretive, perhaps they could use a spy/smuggler type? Maybe someone with untrained force potential?

I felt that with such a task there'd likely be a Jedi Master, basically ensuring that whatever the Task Force commander ordered the Jedi to do didn't really contradict with any of the tenants of the Jedi.

Shyriiwook? Not necessarily. Enalais will understand it, and quite a few Jedi did in terms of any non-Jedi I guess that's up to them. Most Wookies understood basic though so that's okay, though I guess on the ship he could always just use a protocol droid.

Darth is a title, in Sith meaning Sith Lord. Which is above a Lord in the hierarchy of the Sith. While there are a lot of Sith in these kinda ventures, though it isn't up to me to decide, I doubt you would be a Darth. Darths even before the Rule of Two tended to work without the interference of others of the same title.
