The second-to-last floor of the castle spiraled away under a barrage of laser fire. Priceless tapestries, rapidly disintegrating under the heat, fluttered away like moths from an ancient closet. A single Dark Knuckle, unable to flee the area due to being pinned by rubble, was sent flying off into the field, where he miraculously landed unharmed. Cuban Pete, meanwhile, had finished making his Gargle Blaster. 1 part Uncle Git's Special Reserve Whiskey, 1 part Tunguska Triple Distilled Vodka, 1 part Chateau De Baton Premium Cognac, 1 part Griffeater Gin, 1 part Space Lime Juice, and served in a beaker the size of Pete's head. Gently nursing his quart of hooch, Pete returned to the controls. It was time to get creative! A series of bolts struck the castle at its western bases, tilting its descend. As the castle fell towards Pete's pod, the frequency of the laser fire increased and the guns' direction of fire was aimed towards the middle of the castle. Breathing excitedly, Pete urged his pod forward, towards the crumbling castle's walls...

Rattlesnake Jack simply focused his attention back onto Green, as the individual who interrupted the card-game left. He stared back into Green's eyes, as Green was fiddling with the cards. "Anyhow, yer turn Green." Green grumbled "Yeah, yeah I know." He tapped one of the cards he held in his right hand as he peered back at Rattlesnake Jack. "Have any Fives?" Green inquired, desperately hoping he did. Rattlesnake Jack shook his head as Green grumbled out and reached towards the deck. He drew another card and hung his head down low, realizing it was not a card that could be a part of his pair. Rattlesnake Jack glanced around as a small bug flew past his nose. "Lovely weather." he remarked yet again, enjoying the nice day that was provided to him. Green stared at him, his eyes displaying a bit of annoyance, "Come on, make your move." Rattlesnake Jack blinked at Green as he spoke. "Have any Sixes?" Rattlesnake Jack inquired of his associate. Green was saddened as he reached over and handed Rattlesnake Jack his six. Rattlesnake Jack didn't have much cards left. He peered again towards Green as he scratched at his bandana, "Ace?" Green quickly drew the ace from his hand and handed it over to Jack. "Curse you Boss!" he declared.

Cirno just stared, humorlessly, at this awful, ugly, gaunt, annoying, filthy, disrespectful, musty-smelling, tacky-dressing, and above all stupid person; a person who didn't have decency enough to respect the sacred rules of danmaku battle. Yes, this man, this man who had introduced himself by interrupting a danmaku battle, was well and truly on Cirno's shit list. "We were fighting.", she said, voice filled with all the contempt a small child could muster, "Go away."

Okuu simply stood where she was, attempting to come to terms with all the explosions and people and situations and everything that was happening at once. There were very few living people in Hell to interact with, and in an average day, she'd never have more than maybe three around her. There was Rin, her friend that always visited, Mistress Satori, who also came by every once in a while, and another one maybe. Okuu forgot, but it felt like there might have been another one. Okuu snapped back to life when Cirno pointed out the flying grannies. Despite the fact that the castle was being bombarded by laser beams, Okuu laughed and clapped when the grannies finished their act. "That was really good, grannies! I love manzai! I was in a tournament a couple of times, I think. It was fun." Okuu turned back to the hero of justice and reached out to him with her control rod. "I don't see why you don't just fly, mister hero," said Okuu, "but I can help you up. Are you going to do manzai too? Is it another tournament?"

"Because I can't fly." Bee explained, wrapping an arm around Okuu's control rod. Sidling to the relative safety of the ledge, he sheathed his sword. "Humans can't fly. Well, I guess some probably can, considering what's going on. But not me. I can't fly. That's alright, walking's fun though." he grinned, putting his hands on his hips. "Walking is good exercise. It keeps your legs toned."

Rattlesnake Jack peered at Green, "Ya know, I've been having this weird hunch." Green peered at him, "About what? This card-game?" Rattlesnake Jack shook his head as he held onto his last card, "Kina, but not that. Nah, nah, ain't that one what I'm thinkin' 'bout pardner." Green glanced to the side and fired off a deku nut towards the moat of lava. "Then what is it?" Rattlesnake Jack tapped on his last card, "First. Gotta ask, ya got a ten?" Green shook his head, "Go Fish." Rattlesnake Jack plucked the card from the deck as he continued to enjoy the weather. A light breeze blew past him, as he peered at Green. "Jus' a feelin'. Hard ta explain. Ack, forget I brought it up." Green simply nodded at Rattlesnake Jack as he peered at Rattlesnake Jack. "Hey Boss, would ya believe that this has been the first time I was able to stay outside of that Castle for a period longer than like, a minute?" Green inquired of Rattlesnake Jack. Peering incredulously he shook his head. "Ya serious parner?" Green's elongated mouth contorted into a frown as he stared at Jack and gave a nod. "Yeah, first time. Glad I'm workin' for ya now." Rattlesnake Jack scratched the back of his neck. "Sometimes chance works in strange ways Green." He peered back towards the Castle as he noticed bolts flying from Cuban Pete's space-pod. "Glad we ain't there." Rattlesnake Jack noted. Green nodded in approval as he peered at Rattlesnake Jack. "Ya got a Queen?" Rattlesnake Jack reached over as he held out a single card. As Green was reaching for it, Rattlesnake Jack stared back at him, "Psych! Go Fish Pardner!" He eagerly declared as he whipped the card back towards him. Green grumbled at Rattlesnake Jack, "You. Bastard." Rattlesnake Jack chuckled at him as he drew his card, "OH. Guess what I got!?" Green immediately slammed down two cards onto the terrain below. "Queen!" The pair again continued to eye each other, knowing this game, could go to either party.

Maxwell's face darkened as shadow moved around it. "Listen here, missy. One battle can wait, my request cannot. You really should consider it. There are things in this multiverse who could crush you. Things that not many could conquer. Should you reconsider, which I hope you do, here's my card." He flicks a small piece of paper at her, which reads Maxwell Puppeteer of Shadow Split card in two to call "Have fun with your flying grannies, kid." He walks back to the pillar, and it slides down to the ground. "I guess i'll have to look elsewhere to recruit volunteers. It's a shame, none of them asked what I might give in return. Power is a very hefty price." He grins and slams into the ground with an even louder BOOOOM! and the camera seemingly follows him. In the world of Don't Starve sat Maxwell Sanders, in the flesh. He was unrestrained in his throne of shadow, unlike the game. A crucible piece floated around him, being suspended by shadow. "Too much of a shame, really. I guess i'll find other ways to tempt them back here. I really can't wait to put on my show. It'll be a performance to remember..." Shadow molds around the throne, and all turns to black. "I might just get rich off of it." His creepy and evil chuckle echoes into the darkness as the last piece of light fades out of view. "Soon."

alpha saw the hatter coming in fast and wondered what he was going for, before stumbling to his knees as the mad resident of underland tripped him up. "son of a.." he muttered under his breath, charging an orb of energy in his hand. "you're pissing me off." he warned, firing a blast at hatter. if it hit, alpha would rush behind hatter and more or less donkey punch him. if it had not hit, he'd gut punch the hatter, then grab him by the back of the head and slam him repeatedly face first into his elbow, finishing with a toss to the side. upon thinking of it, alpha decided he would probably end with the face to elbow slam either way, though he kept the other avenues of attack in mind as backup plans. omega on the other hand was actually impressed. the dragons, rudimentary beasts as they have have been showed some basic level of tenacity. hell, even after he'd unleashed his armory upon them, some remained and one even found the brimstones to roar at him and the hunter. "i'll take pride in slaying this creature. it and it's kin have given far better a battle than i had expected." omega mused to himself, a wry smirk coming to his face as he caused his blades to circle him in preparation to battle this beast. this battle had a welcome yet fearsome effect on the old watcher. it made him feel lively.

Ganon turned his arms to his side, the swung them down like a hammer, spinning his fists into Ajax's face. "You cannot break me!" he yelled, landing on his feet in a crouch. He charged forward, football tackling the pugilist, lifting and slamming him down. As Ajax bounced off the ground, Ganon swung his leg back like a meaty pendulum, and rocketed it forward, sending Ajax rocketing towards a mountain. With a might leap, the warlock headed towards him at even greater speed, readying a mid-air fist.

Rattlesnake Jack peered at Green as he began shaking his head. "Green this, I'mma gonna win this game." He said narrowing his eyes as he peered at his associate. Green stared back and shook his head, "Oh, you really think so? You think I have the card you seek?" Rattlesnake Jack cackled a bit, "Oh, I've gotta hunch you do. And now I'mma claim m-" He paused as he saw a figure flying through the castle at incredibly high speeds. "Green, turn yer head." Green pondered on whether this was a bluff, but he was sure Jack wouldn't cheat through such a cheap way. So the Business Scrub turned his head as he also saw the propelled figure. "Wonder how long it took to get that thing thrown..." Green mused. Rattlesnake Jack cocked an eyebrow, "Pardner, ya ain't wondering what it is?" Green paused for a moment, "Well I mean I am, but judging by, uh, that blur I saw. I imagine it took whatever got it in action awhile before it was moved." Green said. Rattlesnake Jack gave a single nod to his associate. "Still, nice day...My turn yea?" Green gave a nod, as Jack took a long look at his card, giving an appropriate dramatic lull before revealing it.

In the Shadow Temple, two hands attached to nothing, balled into fists, slammed down onto the canvas. The resulting vibration created a massive booming thump from the drum and launched the two avatars several feet into the air, much farther than the creature ever did in the game. Bongo-Bongo then showed his ugly "face" and let a blood-boiling roar loose before both his body and hands faded from visibility. The usual beat began to sound out, causing the drum on which they stood to steadily thump. The beat seemed slightly different, somehow, as though more skill than the simple beat he played in the game required was being applied. Bongo-Bongo's hands still cast a soft shadow, though, but in the low light it was difficult to notice and follow. The malicious spirit wasn't supposed to be completely invisible like this, showing the two the first way that Bongo-Bongo was changed if the more complex beat didn't say anything. The spirit circled the two before a shadow quickly rushed in Rawk's direction.

Rawk readied himself when he saw the hands, but nothing expected him for the impact that sent him flying upward, much further than he imagined it would be. In fact, he was so shocked that he didn't think to activate his levitation before he hit. WHAM! Rawk landed with enough force to send him bouncing a few more times, knocking his breath away. His Pawns didn't fare any better, as they dispelled as soon as they fell, shards of stone scattering as they landed. As Rawk struggled to breath, that beat sounded out. Oh, fuck. More complex. So much for that... Rawk thought. However, any further thought was stopped as a shadow rushed at him. Meanwhile, Link hadn't fared any better, though he managed to roll into a landing. The beat that haunted his ancestor rang out, only much more complex than before. Link shook his head. Without the Lens of Truth, they were doomed... "Bongo-Bongo... Link muttered. The name was enough to send shivers down his spine. To him, the memories that played were more realistic than Rawk's, but the beast his ancestor faced was still tame compared to this monstrosity. Link saw Rawk having trouble breathing and defenseless as a shadow sped toward him. Link activated his Pegasus Boots, using the speed boost to increase his jump height. In midair, Link focused his magic on the Master Sword, recalling a skill from yet another of his ancestors. Hidden Skill: Jump Srike! Link just hoped the attack would be powerful enough to save his companion...

Ajax laughed. It was ridiculous to even think about it, absurd that anyone engaged in such a merciless contest of strength would laugh in the middle of it. But after the kick connected with his face Ajax was laughing. Laughing as he flew across the air, faster than some actual rocket-propelled projectiles, and towards a mountain. It wasn't a mocking laughter, nor a nervous or insane one. It was a calm and subdued but obviously happy laugh. The joy of fighting, of at last having found an opponent worth fighting after so long. Ajax was happy. It was unlikely Ganondorf could hear the laugh, considering their distance and the speeds they were travelling in. Whatever the case, Ajax stopped laughing when he hit the mountain. The impact could be heard near the ruins of Castle Ganon, over the chaos unleashed by the weapons in Pete's pod, over the sounds of fighting and the card games and everything else. A terrifying explosion combined with the sound of rock crumbling. The ground all around shook. The mountain itself shook and saw an odd kind of cavern-like crack open on its side as Ajax's body carved it apart from the force of the gerudo's attack. His nose was leaking blood and, as Ganondorf approached, he spat out a bloody glob as well. He took a few steps to separate his back from the wall he'd carved with it. Hell of a kick, he said with only seconds to go before Ganondorf smashed into him. He was truly, honestly happy with the fight after finding no challenger for so long, but this wasn't it. Ganondorf was not the one. He was not his match. As the tyrant lunged in with no regard for his own safety, looking for the big right hand, Ajax stepped right into it. That microsecond when you feel your fist land flush on the opponent's face is perhaps when a fighter least expects to be counterattacked. And when the Dark Lord's fist landed, the very instant, he was in turn caught by Ajax's left hand crossing over his right arm and smashing straight into his face. A picture-perfect cross-counter, with Ajax's force behind it. The clash of the two powers was catastrophic and an even louder detonation ensued as their fists made contact. The shockwave was brutal, easily mistaken for an earthquake, but what was truly astounding was that a chunk of the mountain was suddenly...gone. Aside from the area the two fighters were standing in, the entire mountaintop had been blasted into nothingness from within, reduced to rising cloud of dust and rubble that would certainly be cause of concern for the lands nearby. Under the dark sky, standing atop the new, flattened mountaintop he'd helped create, was Ajax. His face was quite messy. His nose was leaking more blood than before, he had a cut on his lower lip and even some burn marks from the sorcerous energies wielded by his opponent, but he was very clearly still fine and ready to fight. The fire in his eyes, that savage glee over the fight, however, was gone. In its place was a strange manner of melancholy, like someone coming down from a rush or even a high. "A shame, but one who relies on trinkets and the power of others will not be the one to best me. Yield. Accept defeat, attain your own strength, I will wait for our rematch".

The hat flew from its hiding place, swallowing the hatter, not only making the energy orb miss but preventing any other attacks from connecting, unless aimed for the hat. The hat flew a bit of a distance and landed on Ganon's head again as the Hatter began speaking from inside it. "Don't lose. I have power for you." The hat then flew from the area, Hatter's maniacal laughter echoing across the land.

Standing in the middle of a shattered mountaintop, Ganon wiped a trickle of blood from his mouth, listening to Ajax's words. A tophat briefly landed on his head, only for Ganon to swat it away. "IDIOT." he shouted at the headwear. "You think this isn't my own power? The triforce of power is no power-boosting item or trinket locked in a dungeon- it's a mark of accomplishment." he held up his fist, the triangular symbol glowing intensely. "I earned my power. I TOOK my power. I don't need some parlor trick to help me along." he said. Dark energies swirled around his fist once more, concentrating themselves into his hand. "OorrraaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" he shouted, and ran forward. Win or lose, Ganon would make this his last attack.

Rattlesnake Jack and Green turned their heads as the mountain shattered in an ear-splitting explosion. Rattlesnake Jack just, watched it for awhile before turning back to Green. "Three?" Green held his hands up to the sky as he shouted, "DAMN IT!" He tossed the card Rattlesnake Jack was seeking to him. Rattlesnake Jack gave a single nod as he placed the pair on the ground. "I win." He paused for a moment as he looked at Green. "Wanna play another round?" Rattlesnake Jack collected all the cards and began shuffling; Green gave a nod to Rattlesnake Jack in conformation.

"Rude little man.", Koume grumbled as she watched Maxwell leave. "Quite." "Now then!", Koume screeched as she turned back to the group, "Behold! The might of the Gerudo people!" Head sized orbs of heat and cold streaked towards the group and impacted the tower, scarring it further with myriad blast marks and sheets of ice as they exploded across. Cirno strafed out of the way, the myriad impacts child's play compared to those found in her native world. As she did, she retaliated with an attack of her own, nailing Kotake with a string of ice crystals to no visible effect, almost as if- as if... "I'm not using enough ice!", Cirno thought allowed, proud of her own genius. "Bit simple, isn't she?", Kotake asked her sister, who was herself currently bombarding Okuu to no visible effect.

"Eh? Can't fly? You poor thing," said Okuu. She had never met a flightless person before. She could only guess how sad, pathetic, and lonely this poor man must have been for all of his life. There was a look of abject pity in the bird's eyes. "You must have been bullied a lot, huh? Is that why you became a hero of justice? Because that's kinda cool." Then there was an incredibly loud explosion, and the castle shook even more than it had been shaking what with all the laser blasts and fireballs and everything. Speaking of fireballs, Okuu felt a bit warmer as the old lady's spells struck her back. It was really kind of nice. Okuu turned around to look at the sister that flung fire at her, and said, "Could you make the might of the Greudo people go a little lower? That would be just right," before turning back to face Bee. These two grannies flew, did comedy, and provided nice warm fire baths. Okuu was a fan.

"I.... yes. That's why I became a hero of justice." Bee responded, oblivious to the energy beams whizzing by. "So, uh. Want me to take care of those two? Because I can. They're totally evil, anyways." he offered, pointing to the Twinrovas.
