yeah, Collabs are also the reason the RP has been so slow, the reason everything always grinds to a halt, and the reason it takes about a week between posts at worst... This is bullshit, and I'm not doing it anymore. We don't need motherfucking collabs for every goddamn post we make! Am I the only one that sees how ridiculous this all is?

It takes no more time than if all the posts were separate. It means the final result doesn't go up until the end, which does lend to the perception that it takes longer. It does, however, allow things to flow better, especially conversation.

I'm sick of having to beat my computer until it loads pads, I'm sick of waiting for it to load the MASSIVE pages that result from the deluge of this crap, I'm sick of waiting weeks between posts, waiting fifteen minutes to load the page, and then finding the post is so huge I don't actually have time to read it in one sitting, let alone respond. And it is faster. And we aren't just using it for isolated conversation, we're using it for literally everything. Even with the fight with the sins, which were technically isolated, if we went with separate collabs I wouldn't have been able to see or react to the other fight, which makes no sense. And if a huge group all does a big collab, why the fuck don't we just make the whole thing one big collab? It's the same damn thing, it's just an extra hoop my computer has to manage to leap through for the same result... I'm not doing it anymore, I can't do it anymore.

So why didn't you just mention that your computer was giving you fits when you tried collabs, reading or writing, and that you'd prefer we eased off on them? All of us would have understood and been perfectly okay with that.

(Sorry, been away all day). I still think collabs are the best option for conversations, as it allows for a more flowing conversation without feeling compelled to add other fluff to give the post a decent length. For other things, though, I suppose it isn't much of a difference not to use one.

Fights could potentially be made super awesome by collabing, though so far everyone (99%) I've collabbed with for fights has an intense stubbornness in writing every single of their character's thoughts and reactions to mine's actions in a paragraph different to mine, ruining the flow and pace. So I generally recommend sticking with conversation for collabs

I've had a few good fight collabs. Though those only usually happen if both people are willing to hurt their characters. Atleast in my experience anyways.
