Nick's Clarity works on muscle memory too, but you're right, he doesn't have the speed or the strength to match Ray.
Sorry guys, but I am going to have to drop out of this one. The IC has picked up a little too much steam and my workload has jumped exponentially.Alright. Sad to see you go! Good luck with that work load. (:
Hey Hylian, I have a question or two about the electrokinesis power before I continue Heather's power development. I was looking more into the power, namely the super power wiki, and I was wondering if any of these abilities are off the table for this rp. I don't want to accidentally god mod. haha http://superpowers.wikia.com/wiki/ElectrokinesisThat has got me thinking of ways to creatively use enhanced agility. So far, I got nothing.
Weight does not necessarily proportion to speed, especially in boxing :D Ray has had boxing as his focus for over ten years of his life. Plus, technique is only part of the speed. A good deal of it comes from muscle that Nick has not had the chance to build up yet. In any case, knowing the theory of boxing or fighting or how a person moves is useless once in the fight itself. Fighters have spent years studying each other, and in the end they still end up having to improvise on the go. If learning how to fight was all a person needed, then there wouldn't be anymore knockouts, and what fun would that be? xDAhh of course, but the ability to put a theory to physical movement is something that most people cant do, thats why the need to 'drill' to train their body to 'remember' how to move, even if their mind already knows how it works. Nicholas has a superhuman ability to bring that altogether in a way that nobody else can. http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Adoptive_Muscle_Memory This is a subset of 'clarity' the ability to learn isnt just the speed in which he picks things up, its the way he learns. But I do take your point he may not be as fast just down to his weight, but I believe Nick is very agile anyway, regardless of his powers. definatley not as explosive as ray though. And as you say 'improvising' on the go is where Nick is actually miles ahead, as improvising is learning and reacting on the spot, which Nick's power allows him to do much more quickly and efficiently then anybody else.

Actually, his clarity would be a real pain in the ass for most terrorists or robbers wouldn't they? Plus, if he learns how to pickpocket or break locks . . . well, you get the idea. Nick can end up as the most versatile member, depending on circumstance :D
So far, the most combat effective powers I see belong to Heather, Orion, Ray and Darrien. Of course, it goes without saying that everyone at this point won't lose to normal people, but I think these four are the most useful in a fight (This is considering their abilities ONLY)Adding Vee, I'd agree with that. Emily seems like she'd be most useful getting information and wreaking havoc from a remote location (via her cellphone) - like the guy in the van from action movies as Vee pointed out. She'd be useful for planning and overseeing, less so in actual fighting unless it was a game of strategy. She knows tai chi though!

Sometimes, I do smart things. Sometimes. Also, I'm on my phone so replying to multiple things is hard, but I'll try. @Madame, I'll look over that after this class and make a post about it. Till, then I gtg.
