A brutal theocratc dictatorship which is at war with EVERYONE and is run for a large part by the church which reveres the, now incapasitated for 10.000 years, Emperor of Mankind as our one and only god eventhough he himself said gods didnt exist...

It is... and it's too expensive imo to start with now. If you're interested in a tabletop wargame ypu'd be much better off with something like Dystopian Wars, although that is lacking the great lore of 40k.

I have no idea how to play tabletop wargames, though... and I have no one to play them with. I mean, not too many other girls my age are interested in this sort of thing. And people who ARE tend not to be too open about it. So it would probably be kind of hard to find someone to play with at my boarding school~

Normally there's an orientation of some kind for new students when they come to a new school. You can handle that as you wish, but it's an idea.
