Powers

Maria's powers are nearly endless and would be a pain to list out as she works from spell books and memorize spells. She has enough power to cast a great deal of spells without ever needing to prepare it or even say the incantation in some instances. Her energy, which is what her spells are powered on, is endless as she has spent many, many years growing her energy 'tank.' It's similar to a stomach in that it expands when more it put into it and so the capacity increases. However, if she were to try and store up anymore, it would become painful and possibly deadly. She often has to do spells for the sake of draining her energy, either that or she exercises... (Not as effective...) She is a White Haired, Yellow Eyed, Dark Skinned Cross and therefore it is believed that she is 'pure.' However, even she knows that her magic was forced upon her and pales in comparison to those whose magic came to them. She has never met the Originator, the creator of Lavanya, but she idolizes him as a strength she wishes to obtain.

Her specialty, however, lies in Energy Manipulation. One of her more notable attack patterns is what she calls, "The Seed." With this move, she raises the electricity levels in a foe's body just to the point of breaking, the 'Seed.' They don't feel the pain (That is, unless they're stupid enough to touch something conductive...) until Maria 'flips the switch' and turns up the dial, putting them out cold, even killing them if she does it up enough.

Weaknesses

Flirt - Maria is flirtation and while this may not seem like a weakness, it has lead to many a fights over her hand in the past.

Mask - Maria has a dark past that she doesn't often tell to anyone, even Brako and Criston are in the dark for some of it. She often puts on a smiling face at the expense of her well-being, hiding her scars and pains from the world.

Independant - Maria is independent and will refuse any help offered to her unless she cannot go with it. She prefers to work things out on her own.

Special Attacker - Maria is a special attacker, meaning that she is not as bulky as some of the foes she may fight against. She does not have a very high constitution and cannot take many hits. This is why she will often resort to spells of speed.

Emotional - Because of her "Mask", Maria can easily be manipulated if someone knows her past, I.E. Marcus. Though, it can be tricky because there are basically two reactions, unrelenting rage which leads Maria to go berserk, or crippling depression which will lead to Maria's collapse, she will not fight, she will simply 'shut off.'

Personality

Maria Ann Cross is at the surface a flirtatious, well learned, leader. However, as you go deeper, more and more of her personality is revealed. Maria is all at once a fighter and a lover. She is a mother and a fierce warrior. Hurt her children and you may not leave with the same number of appendages as when you came. She is very strong willed, able to control her emotions very well. However, this comes with a price as when her emotions do get the best of her, the floodgates open and a torrent of powerful emotions rage through.

Background

Maria grew up a rich lifestyle, her being a member of the 'Cross' family. The family controls much of the money in Elaniel and control many of the businesses there. When Maria was 16, she was given a fiance and told that she would be taking control of a part of one of their many businesses.

All her life, everything was set up for her. She was trained in her magic and trained in how she should live. Deciding to take life into her own hands, Maria ran away. What she did for the few years she was away from home, she's never told anyone but when she was forced back home, she returned with a small child and a blank expression.

The spell on her soul was only lifted when she realized what they were doing to her son. They were doing to him what they'd done to her and it was enough to snap her out of the trance she was in. She ran away once again and took Criston with her to a school that would protect them both. Only 19 at this time, she went to school at Athalia Academy, run by a man whom Maria barely speaks of now. Several years later, he died in an accident and Maria decided to take over by herself and since then she has been using the academy has a place to hide from her family. So far, they have left her alone. Only 25, she had a lot of trials to over come but she managed along with the help of a friend of the previous owner's, Brako Rackshaw.

Powers

Energy Ball - Lily can form a ball of energy in her hand and use it to throw at foes. She is only limited by her own energy level. When a person uses a power or exerts energy, their energy grows dim and they must recharge by sleeping/eating. The balls can be large or small but larger ones will deplete her energy reserve much faster.

Light of the World - Lily can glow. Yep, glowing angel. When she is emotional, a lot of times it will happen without her trying. She can also, when concentrating, concentrate the light to a specific part of her body like a finger or a hand. It's not much use save for lighting things up. The only side affect is that she pushes her energy around her and therefore can harm other dark beings around her. It's almost like an aura that damages and drains those with dark energies around her. She can and generally does dim her own energy by dampening it. She packs it in tight somewhere deep within her soul and it does next to no damage to those around her. She can also use this ability to hide herself by hiding her energy. She also has the ability to see the energies of other beings. She can only see what they are and their intents. She cannot discern personality or history and if they know how to hide it, she can't see it. When someone dies, she knows about it because an energy that was once there, died.

Healer's Touch - Lily can heal others through contact. She places her hands on the target and gives them some of her energy and in doing so heals them. But in doing so, she takes on the injuries of the person she heals. If she heals a cut, she gains a cut in the exact place of the person she healed. Meaning, she can't heal indefinitely or risk dying.

Holy Wind - When her wings are released, Lily can use them to blow 'Holy Wind' at her foes. It can be used to heal nearby Angelic or Holy beings quickly or it can be used to stun Demonic or unholy foes. This counts as using some of her energy and can deplete her reserve if she isn't careful with it. It is completely voluntary and she doesn't always throw around Holy Wind willy nilly.

Water Whisperer - Lily can literally talk to water. Mind you, it can't talk back. It sends feelings back to her and tries it's best to communicate ideas. She simply asks it do something for her and it does, generally. Sometimes, it acts out on it's own and helps her. She has no real control over it and if someone that controls water comes along, their power will over ride hers even if the water is on her side.

Weaknesses

Fear - Lily Brightendale is a very fearful person. On the surface, it may seem like she is carefree and an idealist but deep down, she's scared to death of a lot of things.

Death - Lily is scared of both dying herself and having her loved ones die. She knows where many of them will be headed after death, or at least she believes she does, and isn't ready for them to become a part of that world. She also knows that her death as an angel would be the end of it. What would... come after for her? Would anything?

Being Alone - Lily detests being alone. It probably scares her more than death. At least death is... something. Being alone leaves Lily with her thoughts and... her depression. When she is with people, she is at her best. To her friends, it may be annoying, but for Lily, it's life-saving. Carmen has been a big part of this, as her roommate and even if she does think of Lily as annoying and clinging, she still stays by Lily's side, something Lily truly appreciates.

Relationships - Lily has a fear of relationships ranging from close friendships to intimate ones. She fears falling in love again would break her to the point of no return. She has a hard time letting go and an even harder time forgetting. It's been years and she still thinks about Xanthus from time to time. That alone is enough to scare her to pieces.

Caring and Heroic - Lily is both caring AND heroic, though the later bit is starting to wane. She is motherly and is willing to give up pretty much everything to help pretty much anyone. She's the definition of the nurse that heals both sides of the war. She can't bring herself to hate demons or angels anymore, she just wants it to stop.

Dark Energies/Magic - Dark Magics and Energies have a crippling affect on Lily. Too much of them can even kill her if she isn't careful. They drain her own energy much like two opposing forces that should never meet. Eventually, both she and the source of the energy will cease to be and she will die, as her soul was drained. There are no known ways to counter this affect.

Delay - Lily has a small delay when releasing her wings which are an embodiment of her soul. Recently, she has found that her wings have.. grown... Two more pair of wings have shown up though they are small still. She hasn't told anyone yet, for fear of what they might say, for fear of what it might mean. That... her part in this war between heaven and hell is much bigger than originally thought... Releasing Lily's wings takes about two minutes in total time to bring out and within that time, she is free to move around and do things as normal, however the concentration needs to stay uninterrupted or the process will revert. Once the wings are release, Lily can fly and even use them to blow 'Holy Wind' at foes, wind charged with Holy Energy.

Personality

Kind to a fault, Lily is everyone's friend. She can be a little sarcastic and bitter at times but deep down she is very kind and loving. She loves to help others and see the happiness is brings them. Her only wish is to be wanted, to be needed by someone, anyone. She has changed quite a bit since her beginnings at Kalmaysia Academy and she's hoping that now that she has her powers back, she can continue living a normal, as one would call it, life.

Background

Lily's story is long one. She was born and raised in England where she died at age 16, her only friend her neighbor, Xanthus, a demon. In Heaven, her father was Micheal and her mother named Melody. When creating humans, God had angered Lucifer and Lucifer planned to kill them all off, saying that they ruined God's image and name. Hearing of his plans, Micheal stops him by casting him out of heaven, a fallen angel. Angry and bitter, Lucifer builds up his strength and takes Micheal's place, taking his appearance and running Heaven his own way. His first order of business? Get rid of Micheal's family. Melody was first, and then Lily was sent to an academy. Eventually, she goes back to heaven, to be imprisoned while the love of her life, Xanthus, is killed. She then comes back, empty and broken. Xanthus is reborn, but no longer the same. She leaves him, though she still wears her engagement ring, and searches for a way to kill Lucifer. She finds one, but it entails her giving up her life, her Grace. She does so and is brought back as a human, her Grace gone.

A year or so later, Lily has found her Grace again with the help on an Angel named Gabriel. He coaxed her into finding it on her own and now she is back to how she once was. But what could that mean for Lucifer? Is he really dead? It is really all over? Can Lily really get away with this, can she be so happy after losing so much?

...Lots of other things happened since then. It'll uhh... come through in IC. (She's my longest running character and has an immense history that is constantly changing...)

She's still WIPsy. I'll fill out the weaknesses more a bit later. They exist and have been lain out before. I just get lazy after doing her CS so many times. :P

Powers

Sound Production - Carmen is a sound producer. Unlike a sound manipulator, Carmen is incapable of taking an existing sound and changing it, and is all about producing new sounds. Sound duplication is certainly possible, but not manipulation. Carmen can utilize all of her abilities from herself when in bird form, but when in human form she requires her trumpet. Some of Carmen's specific abilities, many of which have already been used in Athalia history, are available on the wiki.

Carmen's Trumpet - Carmen possesses a supernatural brass instrument that resembles a grandiose herald trumpet. 3 feet long and with a 7.5" bell flare (the bell flare in the pictures is about 5"), it stands half as tall as its user. It is through this instrument that her music and sound production abilities are released to the world, and it can be used as both a solo instrument and a lethal sonic weapon. It can project any sound or combination of sounds Carmen can possibly think of - any tambre or combination of tambres, any amount of polyphony and counterpoint, and any dynamic from inaudible to shake-the-building's-foundation loud. It is the ultimate sonic expression tool.

Weaknesses

Dependence Day - The most obvious weakness in Carmen's arsenal is the fact that in human form Carmen's Trumpet functions exactly as Thor's Hammer does - although she can summon the instrument to her being at any point through the very limited telekinetic abilities she possesses (which is only useful for making menial tasks a little easier and thus not (yet) considered a full-fledged power), she is completely and totally powerless when the instrument is not in her hands and in fact on her lips.

Nonfunctional Harmony - Although Carmen can shift to a gaseous bird form (hence skylark) that negates all need for the trumpet or really anything and is impervious from physical attacks, she cannot use sounds offensively while in this form and can only produce music, thus relegating this form to a defensive and primarily non-combat role.

Lopsided - While Carmen can use her abilities in a defensive fashion, she is essentially all offense, and thus doesn't have anything in the way of protection against enemy attacks. Her combat style relies entirely on her never getting hit.

Oblivion - Carmen's mind can be too confident and oblivious of danger and potential problems. While typically this has not caused trouble for her as she can deal with most problems, it provides an opportunity for disaster.

Personality

With an imposing face that can be downright menacing, Carmen is no angel. She's no demon either, but is hardly perfect. To fully understand her personality you must begin with a typical, egotistical soprano singer. This is a girl who is, by all accounts, a diva, thinks herself above all others and is very outgoing to everyone - if only to flaunt herself to them. Now take away about 1/5th of the ego and half of the outgoing-ness and you pretty much have Carmen hit on the head. She wants to talk to others, but she does not shout about it and rarely even initiates it. She thinks highly of herself but does not impose it upon others in the slightest, instead preferring to let her striking looks and (mainly) the music she creates do the talking. She is inwardly judgmental (as opposed to outwardly (to friends) like a soprano), constantly observing and judging others but never saying a word of what she thinks. Her actual thoughts on a subject are often a mystery. She is nigh impossible to attract, having ludicrously high standards and not being experienced with romance in the first place.

Background

The mythological Siren is a beautiful yet dangerous woman creature who entices sea-going vessels to crash on the shore with enchanting song. The real (in the context of Athalia) Siren is an altogether more complicated matter. Born from the universe when a supernova generates a particular set of frequencies that possess such ferocious energy and consonance with one another that they cause the spontaneous creation of a sentient life form - a Siren. Very few Sirens have ever existed, and they all have absolute control of all sound in the universe at all times. Carmen is a subtype of Siren called a Skylark, which manifests itself in two forms: a human form, where she needs a form of sound production (the trumpet) to use her abilities, and an almost gaseous form where she can produce and manipulate sound without need for the trumpet (which dissolves when she changes to this form). This form strongly resembles a huge bird, which is why she has been dubbed a Skylark. While Sirens - and thus Skylarks - do not "age", since their inception involved frequencies which eventually dissipate, they too eventually dissipate, but only after several millenia. They cannot be classified as supernatural because they come from the natural universe, but they possess entirely "supernatural" abilities and can often learn other abilities besides sound manipulation. Conceived from a supernova on the other side of the Milky Way galaxy, Carmen spent her twenty years leading up to Athalia learning the ways of the world - languages, cultures, and most principally musics (yes, musics is a word), and as such has a vast knowledge database of human music and can reproduce much of it through her trumpet.

Further Information

A little known fact is that Carmen has an extremely beautiful singing voice - a true soprano sound matching her true soprano ego. It is not linked to her abilities and for all of her self interest she refuses to sing for anyone or even allow them to know that she can, although she practices regularly. It is her best kept secret and to unlock it is to unlock the key to the rest of her mind.

Carmen owns quite possibly the largest fashion collection in the entire Athalia universe.

Carmen does not need to eat, drink or sleep, but can for entertainment.

Carmen was originally conceived as essentially a continuation of Driving Park's Kalmaysia character, Sasha Iranti. Her name was originally supposed to be Shira (meaning "singing" in Hebrew), until HylianRose pointed out that in one of the earlier roleplays there had literally been a siren character named Shira. As a result, the name Carmen Calandra was a last minute edit on an otherwise completed character sheet. She was intended to have her trumpet and ability set from the beginning (although additional abilities and tweaks were added during Season Two), but it was only when Driving Park completely embraced her diva personality that she came into her own as a character.

Carmen has appeared on more non-canon entertainment program episodes than any other Athalia character, appearing in some capacity in three Ganonshaw episodes and the first Noxonshaw episode. She is also the only character thus far to have appeared in all three shows (including her own), and the only Athalia canon character to have hosted her own show.

The surf shop cashier that Carmen bought her beach outfit (including gigantic sun hat) from in the beginning of Season Two was originally intended to be Driving Park's second character - a very laid back surfer dude with water manipulation. However, that idea never came to fruition and later in the season Mizuki "Kelly Miyabi" was introduced as his second character.

Carmen is specifically listed as a weakness in Derek Keelan's Guild character sheet.

Fox-Fire Manipulation - As a kitsune, Mizuki utilizes fox-fire as her main offensive weapon in unconventional ways such as hypnosis and life-force draining.
Hair Manipulation - Mizuki can move her head hair and each of her tails as if it were another appendage, and use them for various purposes, including attacks, defense, and comakinetic flight.
Lunar Empowerment - "Mizuki" means "beautiful moon", and Mizuki is thus the lunar fox-spirit. When it is night, especially a full moon, her power is augmented.
Trickster - Enhanced Thievery, Regenerative Healing Factor (slow).
Kitsune Physiology - Enhanced Hearing and Smell, Night Vision.

Weaknesses

Go Big or Go Home - Mizuki is an on and off switch. When in a fight, it's all or nothing, which causes her to be far more aggressive than what is necessary for maximum effectiveness and survivability. She will rain down her own attacks without so much as checking for a counterattack. If she sees it, she will counter it, but the likelihood of her not seeing it at all is high. This also applies to collateral damage, which she both doesn't watch out for and views as an acceptable price to pay in battle, so it's generally a good idea to stay far away from her in a fight.
Type Chart - Mizuki and her fox-fire are very weak to water users, especially as fox-fire can contain electrical properties.
Mental Jenga - Mizuki's heart is located in a shell hardened from years of suffering (see Background), but the right triggers can crack it, causing complete emotional collapse.
Anti-K9 - As a kitsune, Mizuki is weak to and afraid of dogs.
Malnourishment - In addition to normal nourishment, Mizuki must also feed on life-force energy to remain at 100% capacity. This includes emotions, which is why she is dependent on people, despite her disdain for them. If she goes for too long without feeding, her good side will be completely suppressed and she will be very mentally volatile, likely to go on killing/feeding sprees until her benevolent side returns.

Personality

Kelly/Mizuki is a product of a very unique upbringing, with her recipe consisting of 60% nogitsune malevolent fox-spirit, 30% zenko benevolent fox-spirit, and 10% kind and gentle girl. She does not value life (including her own), with the exception of her two parents. She is not afraid to kill anyone (except children and the defenseless) in her quest for answers and revenge (see below). She is mischievous and malevolent, thanks to her nogitsune genealogy. She will mess with people she chooses, engaging in thievery, mind games and other such tricks for her own purposes. She is always plotting, scheming and conniving (yes, all three). She is cunning and stealthy with her games, and extremely hard to pin the blame on. Yet, because of her zenko side, she has the capacity to be an extremely sweet, caring individual to those she chooses. However, most of the time it is all an act as part of her game. On the very rare occasions when someone earns her genuine affection, kindness and trust, she will pour out her entire heart to them, smothering them in said affection and kindness. This is an extremely rare yet extremely beautiful occurrence.

She occupies a moral space located in the gray area of the moral compass, and can hate (and kill) both good and evil, usually aligning with good for their kindness and lack of unrealistic world domination plans. For her, there is only her journey.

Background

Years ago, in the small town of Shiroku, Japan, a little girl was dying. Incapacitated by a disease that was slowly claiming her life, no amount of medicine she was given was improving her condition, and fell into a coma. Her family couldn't afford proper medical treatment, and was relying on the little medicine they and their neighbors had.

One night, while the family was sleeping, the fox-spirit Mizuki descended on the household. A spirit of the night, Mizuki had gone unseen, being spoken of in the local area in hushed tones. Whenever something was stolen or someone went missing, the small group of villages always accredited the misdeed to Mizuki, and regularly prayed to their deity to deliver them from it.

This night would be different.

When the fox-spirit reached the house of the ill child, it intended to do what it normally did. Upon seeing the little girl, however, it changed its mind. For although it was a malevolent nogitsune, it still had a reserve of compassion and honor tucked away in the recesses of its mind. Mizuki possessed the child, saving her life in the process. When morning came, the family observed what had occurred, and that the girl had already gained a bushy fox tail. Despite Mizuki's reputation, they vowed to continue raising the kitsune child as if nothing had happened.

Unfortunately, the rest of the town and indeed the Japanese government did not share the same sentiment, driving her and her family away. The family sought refuge in America, hoping to eke out a new life for themselves and Mizuki. They did so until Mizuki was in her early teens, having grown into a sweet little kitsune with three tails. In the process, she picked an American name (Kelly) to normalize herself in American society.

One night, however, armed men came and forcefully took her parents, never to be seen again. When the police arrived, all they found was a frightened Mizuki.

Mizuki never understood why her parents were taken, but it affected her drastically. She spent the rest of her life alone, scrounging out an existence in any way she could, all the while in intense emotional pain, trying to uncover who the armed men were and why they took her parents. She grew as a kitsune, gaining tails and strength during the process. She was almost ready to admit defeat and move on.

But then, they came for her.

She fought.

And then she fled.

She flew as fast as she could, and soon she was no longer followed. However, she wouldn't stop running, dangerously ignoring her fading stamina and her very undeveloped flight, which would cease to function at any moment.

And soon, she fell.

Further Information

Mizuki was first introduced in the second episode of the non-canon Noxonshaw, long before she was introduced in-character. It was written by NarayanK and Driving Park as part of a many-hour collaborative episode marathon, which included the first two episodes of the Noxonshaw (Carmen then Mizuki) followed by the first episode of Carmen's show, Athalian Idol. The pair stayed up extraordinarily late completing the trio of episodes, concluding at approximately 7 a.m. EST.

The name Mizuki means "beautiful moon" in Japanese.

When posting for Mizuki, Mizuki's creator, Driving Park, often accidentally began typing the name Miyoshi, which is the name of a character he plays in a non-Athalia roleplay.

The original inspiration for the character came from a multitude of sources. The idea to link the character to the moon came from HylianRose when Driving Park first considered making a second character. A long time passed between that conversation and when development of a second character (that became Mizuki) actually begun, but Driving Park remembered the lunar suggestion and incorporated it into Mizuki's design. The inspiration to make Mizuki a kitsune came from Driving Park's "Ninetales" Etherpad username and retroactively applied Roleplayer Guild avatar. Ninetales is a Pokémon that is noticeably a nine-tailed kitsune, and is DP's favorite Pokémon. The idea to make her morally ambiguous came from three reasons: the fact that it was the creator's apparent knack, the fact that the creator couldn't decide between making a nogitsune or zenko kitsune, and the fact that the two pictures the creator found (and really wanted to use) each portrayed a different morality.

The name "Kelly" was chosen long before Miyabi or even Mizuki, and was entirely chosen so that a certain Eurobeat song by the same name could be used as the character's theme. However, during character development it was realized that the character didn't at all match the extremely uplifting mood of the song, and the theme idea was scrapped but the name kept.

Electricity Manipulation - Criston has the ability to manipulation electricity at his will. He can store it in his body and release it into other things. Using this ability, he can gain control over most electronic items and power them. He can also summon a powerful electric storm, though it drains a lot of his powers.

Weaknesses

Water - Criston, bless his heart, can't swim and is deathly afraid of large, or what he deems large, bodies of water. Getting over to Osari was no small task.

Pretty ladies - Criston has a soft spot for pretty ladies. Being a lady's man, he will always come to the aid of a female in need. He also finds it very hard to resist female's sexual advances. (Apologizes to his wife...)

His own arrogance - A well known problem with Criston is his arrogance. He is well known for thinking he knows more than he does and thinking that he can do more than he can actually do. He is getting better however, as he takes on his leadership role.

Personality

Criston is kind yet arrogant. He believes in his own strength and experience and will often boast about it. If confronted with an enemy, he will be the first to jump in without a plan and get hurt because of it. He is spoiled and has everything he could ever want and this can make him seem a bit condescending to other students.

With the recent events, however, he has begun to change as an individual and is beginning to mature, taking on more responsibility. In this, he has already surpassed Brako. ["Take that, old man!" - Criston]

Background

Criston is the Principal's son, which you can guess as to what sort of things he can get away with. He inherited his powers from his mother and everyone on campus knows about it. He's always been on campus, even as a child. He knows all of the professors and he knows all of the students.

In the midst of dozens of incredibly powerful ability-bestowed Athalians and villains, Vikki has none. She is a normal human, with no ubergenes or anything like that. However, she is extremely well trained in a multitude of specialities and silky smooth refined in each, to the degree that she can go toe to toe with any supers using nothing but her two Persian Long Luger pistols, two katanas and mastery of martial arts. Athalia's Batman, if you will, and almost as mysterious.

Things she is exceptionally trained in to the point of comprehensive mastery:

Marksmanship. Need a crack sniper? She's your shooter.

Martial Arts. She has black belts in multiple martial arts disciplines, including bladed (she uses twin katanas), fan (she uses twin steel bladed combat fans), and hand-to-hand.

Driving. She is extraordinarily adept at driving automobiles with high speed and precision.

Weaknesses

She may be a top shot, a deadly hand-to-hand fighter, a master swordswoman and a driver worthy of stunts, getaways and top-tier racing, but as mentioned above, she has zero special abilities or defenses. A well-placed bullet will still kill her, and her body isn't immune or resistant to any supernatural abilities. With the exception of martial arts blocking/countering techniques, her combat set is entirely offensive.

In addition, unless she's specifically paid otherwise, she always works alone. This can be a problem when your adversaries throw a lot more than one foe at you. She also isn't aware of the possibility of losing or failing, which may be a good thing in some situations but definitely bad in others.

Personality

Vikki is a professional. She is extremely good at what she does, and she knows it - and everyone else knows that she knows it. Contrasting with her frequent business mindset, she always - and I mean always - dresses very extravagantly, as seen in the picture. In addition, through the cold-hearted hitman exterior, she has the capacity to care, and go out of her way to make sure justice is upheld. But...usually not.

Background

If Star Wars has taught us anything, it's that every good vs. evil struggle needs a good bounty hunter - one who really couldn't care less for "moral alignment" in the pursuit of the almighty dollar. As such, they are usually labeled "evil" and seem to follow that line of thinking, but aren't actually aligned at all. Vikki Miller fits this trope perfectly. A bounty hunter, mercenary, hitman, gun for hire, or whatever term you prefer, she could work for Maria Cross one day and then get offered a better deal by the ranks of Hell the next.

Apart from the fact that personal advancement and combative prowess is something that motivates Vikki, she actually had to become as good as she is to escape the slums she was born in - a cutthroat culture in a bad part of a major metropolis that effectively was walled off from the rest of the world from within. If you attempted to leave, you would be found, brought back and killed. Vikki detested the culture there and desperately wanted to get out, so she trained and trained until she was so skilled that she singlehandedly toppled the entire gang hierarchy, mostly by literally toppling everyone who tried to stop her. Once she escaped, she hit the books and over time become cultured, all the while still training. Soon her reputation preceded her and she began to be drafted into the bounty hunter career path.

Further Information

Vikki appears prominently in the Carlily fanfiction set eighteen years after the events of Athalia Academy, which is where her character originated. Initially intended to be one of a number of "disposable" villains, Driving Park became so enthralled with her that she was changed into a persistent character.

You Only Live Twice - When Mira is "killed" and her true form appears, she is susceptible to mortality and being killed for good.

Mage Ya Look - Mira has a balanced (offensive vs. defensive) ability set, but possesses no magical defense. Although she can cause a magic assailant to flip morality, there is no polar opposite to magic and thus she cannot manipulate duality to counter it. Her body has gained resilience against physical/elemental attacks, but nothing against magic (as she rarely encounters it).

Dependence Day: Desert Edition - Unlike many abilities which seem to be able to generate out of thin air, Mira's sand abilities require sand in the vicinity to be used. For this reason, she always carries around a handful of sand somewhere on her person, but were she separated from it in a non-desert or beach climate, she would be unable to use her psammokinetic abilities. Naturally, the opposite is also true - her sand potency in desert and beach climates is significantly boosted.

Strength in Numbers - Mira technically possesses four different ability sets, but although she is a very advanced user of all of them, none of them are capable of dealing OP damage on their own. She is thus much less effective in a 1x1 brawl than other forms of combat.

Personality

Mira is a philosopher, a teacher and a cleric (of sorts). Deeply rooted in a large collection of traditions, she is calm and reserved, sometimes to the point of intimidation. Her eyes offer a window into her long life and every emotion she has felt along the way - which is to say, every emotion it is possible to feel.

Background

Mira began her long life many years ago as a Hindu girl (her given name meaning "prosperous princess" in Hindi). Raised on the priniciples of the Hindu religion, she devoted herself to achieving moksha and becoming a Jivanmukta - one who has discovered their true self (Ātman) and been liberated from the cycle of birth and rebirth. She achieved it in one lifetime - by far the quickest anyone has achieved it according to the Hindu lore. Free from the bonds of the cycle, she also became free from the shackles of aging, having her life extended for an indefinitely long amount. Although she was 96 when she attained moksha, she was bestowed with a beautiful, youthful form that would never age. She can reveal her true form at will, but usually only does when performing the Move of Ages, Amita Nirvana.

Once she had become a Jivanmukta, Mira began her relentless, lifelong pursuit of learning everything there was to learn, experiencing everything there was to experience, and helping to make the world a better place. Around her 400th birthday (around 2600 B.C.E.), she moved to Egypt to assimilate their culture. While there, she witnessed the pyramids being built at Giza. Millenia later, she found herself in China witnessing the birth of the Taoist religion under the Han Dynasty. As the religion sprouted, she became one of its principal contributors, setting her down the path towards Yin & Yang mastery.

Despite witnessing a great number of historically significant events and taking part in some of history's greatest cultures, Mira has spent most of her life thus far in her home country of India, near the village where she was born. She is written about all over Hindu writings, but also appears in writings from many different cultures, principally Egyptian hieroglyphs and Chinese hanzi. So profound was her effect on the cultures she spent time in that she quickly ascended into international legend, and it was then that she began being talked about not as Mira Kaur but as the Kali Rana, which literally means "ruler who devours time". Today, very few people know her true name or whereabouts, knowing her only by her surviving legends. Her legend name carries as much weight as any other, and many people believe her (and her legends) to be a myth.

Although Mira has attained knowledge far surpassing any mortal, she has not obtained the one piece of knowledge that she has been searching for since she attained moksha nearly five millenia ago:

What is she?

She assumed at first that her Jivanmukta status would grant her things not attainable by normal humans...but a never aging form, apparent immortality without ascension, and the ability to manipulate time and morality? She always thought it was something more than just the Hindu dieties smiling on her. Her current conclusion is that either the dieties kept her on Earth and bestowed her with abilities to rival their own for a noble purpose...or that it's entirely a construct of some other doing.

Perhaps coming across Athalia Academy and its schizophrenic war with Hell will finally answer her five-thousand year question.

Further Information

Mira is able to time travel via a combination of all four of her abilities, the catalyst being sand. This ability, referred to as the Sands of Time, is one of the most potent in the universe, being able to cause irreparable damage if used without caution (as is true of any form of time travel). It is primarily for this ability that Dark Mira would be a massive threat to everyone else.

Mira possesses an ability called Amita Nirvana that has not been performed in 2,000 years. Claimed eyewitness accounts of its last use have been retold through generations, and the ability has become one of the most widespread legends of Hindu culture. Many have concluded that Mira is a prophet or even a Hindu diety specifically because of this ability's legend, and that the ability can only be activated when Mira is killed.

Mira carries but one tool, a glassblower's blowpipe. She handcrafted the long, skinny tube herself millenia ago, and it is the most exquisite tool imaginable.

As her pictures indicate, Mira is known for always wearing elaborate lehenga choli - the traditional marriage ensemble of Indian women.

While Mira is universally known as the Kali Rana from legends, she has also been referred to as "The Seamstress of Time" and (more simply) "Mirage".

Kali Rana is both a name and a title. Made up of a Hindi first name followed by a Hindi last name, it could conceivably function as a birth name. However, in Mira Kaur's case, it functions as both, and is usually said/written as "the Kali Rana".

Mira's entire existence is a mystery to many. Due to her existence in legends dating as far back as 3000 B.C.E. to the present day, people who know the legends have varied opinions on what she is. Some believe she is a Hindu prophet, sent down to this world and kept there to preserve the Hindu religion and its dieties. Others, particularly those who know the legends of the Move of Ages and other such ability-related legends, think she is actually a Hindu diety or semi-diety herself. Others think that she was normal woman and died after a normal human lifespan, with subsequent legends being fairy tales. Still others believe that her entire existence is a myth, decrying accounts of the Move of Ages and her simply vanishing into the desert sands.

Separation - when his spirit is outside of his body, he's immobile and can in no way defend himself, if he and his spirit are separated then he'll start getting sick and the longer they're apart the worse it gets until he dies.

Claustrophobia - he's claustrophobic, even as a spirit so if you can get him in a small enough area he'll get scared and won't know how to react.

mechanical legs - his legs are heavier then the rest of him and make him severally bottom heavy whenever he tries to move on his own or if people try to carry him. and even when they work they are very barely the same strength as a normal human's legs and can keep him up and allow him to walk but their only addition in strength comes from how heavy they are.

he was in an accident as a kid, and in the crash his legs were crushed. it was also during this crash that he discovered his abilities, when he was thrown from the car his spirit pulled itself from his body.

when people didn't believe him afterwards he got angry and developed Intermittent explosive disorder and because he was uncontrollable his parents had him put in an asylum in hopes of him getting better.

his legs had to be amputated and a scientist decided to try an idea for cybernetic legs on him. the idea was faulty at best and the legs rarely work, though in occasional bursts he can in fact use them.

he learned to better control his powers, to a degree, and a representative from Athalia came and offered to take him to the school, claiming it was a new-age psychiatric facility. his parents agreed and when they were alone the representative explained what Athalia really was and brought him there to begin his education.

There he met Scillia and when the school was attacked he fought and, while he was wounded in the battle, he survived, leaving him with a rather nasty scar on his abdomen, and they escaped.

He asked Scillia to marry him and she said yes. he works on most anything technical for their people.

Medusa's Stare: Like Medusa, if someone looks directly into Andromeda's eyes they will turn to stone. She constantly wears either a veil or a pair of sunglasses so people won't be able to see her eyes.

Serpent Servants: Andromeda can speak to and exercise minor control over snakes (sort of more persuasion then control), and has complete control over the snakes on her head. If she doesn't specifically tell them to do something (telepathically) they pretty much just reflect her current mood.

Snake form: Andromeda has the Ability to turn her legs into a snake tail for short periods of time, however, it physically drains her to do so, if she goes in this form for too long she'll pass out and will have to wait hours before she can go into the form again. in this form she is much faster then on her legs and can exercise stronger (but still not complete) control over snakes being more like the creatures now.

Andromeda is in fact Medusa descendant, the stoning powers skipped a generation so her mother thought she had been normal and when she had a baby that turned a nurse to stone when she finally opened her eyes, she shunned her and locked her up, home-schooling her and always teaching her there was something wrong with her. and as she was never allowed to look anyone, even her own mother in the eyes, she now has trouble doing that, seeing it as Taboo, despite the fact her gaze won't turn people to stone as long as she has her veil on. she was sent there when she got an invitation to study and her mother was happy to get rid of her. she started to open up a little before the school was attacked and now she has returned to much of her original reclusive habits.

Switching between stones requires a wait time of 30 secs, and each stone has a cooldown time of 10 minutes before they can be used again.

Eyes of the Reaper: Along with his abilitiy to interact with spirits of the deceased or beings that reside on the other side of death, he can also view the souls of living people, a rough idea of what abilities they may have, and what kind of being they are.

Cloak and Scythe: His Cloak is an extension of his soul, andthus can be changed at will to look like any kind of attire he feels is needed, as well as bearing a poclet dimmension that can hold a few crucial things inside it. His scythe is able to cut any possessive spirit out of the host without harming said host, as well as send spirits on their way to the next life. They will also be affected by Soul Stone usage, though it is mostly a cosmetic change.

Weaknesses

Cost of power: A drawback to using Soul Stones is that one must experience the death the being expeirenced everytime that stone is activated(It is of cou4se sped up to the point that it takes a second to experience, though it usually feels much longer). This tends to take a toll on the minds of many users, as the deaths are usually very unpleasant.

Old Wound: Has a scar an old wound in his back that never healed right and causes him a lot of pain if he gets hit there or i
falls on it.

Neglected: One of the few things that really angers him is when someone tries to act motherly to him, as it reminds him of how his own rarely ever acted in such away towards him.

Grimm is a rather stoic individual, not being one for displays of emotion of any sort. Tending to be more of an observer type, he has a tendancy to just watch people go by their business, usually drawing anything that interests him as he does so. He has a rather bleak view on life sometimes, something attributed to both his use of Soul Stones and his mothers death by those who know him.

Background

He grew up on the road most of the time, as his mither was something of a traveling hero of sorts, going around the world to help anyone in need. And while he did look up to his mother for what she did, he sometimes couldn't help but resent her for it as well. She was always so busy trying to help people, she hardly spent anytime with him, nit because she didn't lovehim, but because she was too enamored by the romanticism of what she did.

One day, however, disaster struck. His mother was killed by a demon, an event which caused him to awaken his own powers as a Reaper and finish the fiend as it tried to escape. After that event, however, he found himself in the care of his father, a Reaper of Great power and influence, who worked tirelessly to train Grimm into the finest reaper there ever was. He was a cold man, however, and did nothing to help Grimm recover from the trauma of his mother's death, leaving him to resent her for dying, for leaving him alone in this world, for never being there for him and always being there for others.

Weaknesses

Easily Trapped - Britnia has a tendency to shrink to fairy size when she's not directly interacting with humans. This makes it fairly simple to trap her by catching her in a net or something similar.

Aloof - Besides Criston, Maria and her mother, Britnia tries to avoid interaction with people. It makes it hard for her to form bonds with people, though she still helps anybody who's in trouble.

Personality:

Before the attack on Athalia, Britnia was always a little flighty, never staying focused on one thing for long. Despite this, she was usually happy, and would always help someone in need. Now, she is close to despondent, and can rarely be seen smiling (except in the presence of her husband).

Background:

Britnia was once a human, albeit a human with an abnormal amount of contact with the fey. After a tragic accident left her alone and dying, she was adopted by the Queen of the Fey, and given a second chance at life as a fairy. Powers

Metal Man - The orphan once known as Christoph Nolan has gone from mostly augmented to fully mechanized. His new body requires no rest, does not age, does not degrade, and can be repaired. He is made from an incredibly dense alloy, making him incredibly tough, but also incredibly heavy. His brain functions 20 times more efficiently than it did as a human, and he never forgets anything.

Interface - Over the years, Prometheus has acquired new hardware, including a sword that can cut through magic and a ruby that allows him to control fire.

Weaknesses

Nonliving Flesh - Prometheus no longer heals normally, as there is no longer any living flesh in his body. Instead he must wait until he can repair himself in the proper environment, and make rudimentary repairs in the field.

Glitch - Prometheus' mind did not seamlessly transfer into it's mechanical home. Every so often it shows this with a slight glitch in his behavior. This can be anything from repeating something he says until someone tells him to stop, to suddenly collapsing for no reason. The glitches are self correcting and never cause lasting damage.

Prometheus was never exactly an emotional person, besides his rare bouts of rage, but now he even lacks that. He acts as metallic as his body, and is only driven by his singular goal, to make Marcus pay for his crimes.

Background:

After the attack on Athalia, Data disappeared. He returned to the lab where he had first come from, and convinced his former teacher there to perform a full conversion on him after he failed to protect anyone. On his return, he tracked down the former students in Osari, and made a home for himself in a nearby forest, visiting every so often to make sure everybody was alright.

Background:

When Scillia was very young, still learning to use her magic, her master was murdered by a rival sorcerer and she was placed under a curse that bound all of her positive emotions. She continued her training under the man who had killed her old master, the curse making her unable to refuse, and eventually was sent to Athalia to spy on them. It was there, however, that she met Oliver, and eventually it was his influence that broke her curse, leaving her free again for the few scant days before Marcus attacked. Since then, she has been learning her first master's lessons again, using books he had locked away under a spell that only she could break.

Follower of the First Ancestor: Baptized at birth with the ashes of the “First Ancestor”, the first grandmaster of his clan, he gains inferior abilities of the “First Ancestor”. He can phase out of this reality, seemingly disappearing in a cloud of ash, and appearing in another position, seemingly “teleporting.”. He is also able to blast ash from his fingertips, disorienting others or granting him ample time to relocate.

Unnatural Physiology: Through centuries of selective breeding and experimentation, the clan bred what they deemed the perfect warrior. With the general improvements to reflexes, speed, and strength, his body can also ignore some basic fundamentals of physics. For example, he can dash while mid-air, moving towards an enemy with little to no sound. If a projectile weapon enters his body at any point completely, he can use the muscle and bone in his body to change the direction the projectile is moving, avoiding mortal wounds. He doesn’t even need to visually see an enemy to predict their movements accurately.

God’s Palm: Advanced martial arts techniques paired with unnatural physiology means he is almost unparalleled in hand to hand combat. Developed by his clan to provide to accompany the almost passive abilities gained from baptism, many foes of the clan were killed because they assumed it was just another martial art. One palm strike using this martial art can split a tree in half- it’s no surprise a user is able to crush bones and organs with ease.

Weaknesses:

The drawbacks of his “teleport” is that it is not instantaneous, meaning an enemy will have ample time to react. This ability merely shifts him into a different plane of existence, meaning he will still have to physically be able to get to any position he wishes to “teleport” to. He cannot also attack any other being while in this plane.
While his unnatural physiology allows him to achieve many superhuman feats, it does not come without a cost. Performing an superhuman act decays his body slowly. Attempting to take advantage of his physiology for an extended period of time leads to his body shutting down, leaving him barely able to walk or crawl, let alone breathe.

His skillset is mostly for a single target, up close and personal. Multiple targets present a difficulty for him, as well as any attack that can sweep a large area.

Personality:

Despite having a less than pleasant background, Joseph doesn’t think much about it. In fact, he’s sociable… But enjoys being a tease. He’s the one who attempts to lighten the mood in bad times. Joseph will probably seem overbearing at times, but he merely wants everyone to enjoy life.

Background:

Joseph was born to a clan closed off from the world. They had no intention of contacting the outside world- Their small island was enough for them. The main interest of the majority of the clan were in pursuit of a stronger, faster warrior, in order to make sure they could repel any invaders who dared desecrate their lands. Intense training and experiments were common place.

Like all members of the clan, Joseph was baptized at the age of eleven, with the ashes of the First Ancestor, the first grandmaster of their clan, The clan’s deity. He then gained his powers and began training under his elders.

But of course, like every population who practices some sort of religion, the clan was divided. Some wanted to conquer more lands in the name of the clan, others wished to resurrect the First Ancestor, others wanted to keep to the old ways, and so on. Civil war eventually followed.

After the dust settled, Joseph soon was the only one left, saved due to the fact he had decided not to fight. As Joseph had nothing left to gain by staying on the island, he left, leaving behind a mass grave.

Annie's powers come from the powers given to her by Lucifer in order to kill the angel Lily Brightendale. Since then, however, she has somehow managed to get away from Lucifer, or at least he's leaving her alone. Her powers make her incredibly strong and agile. She has mastered almost every known martial arts with the exception of the few lesser known ones. She, in the first RP she appeared in, smashed a zombie brain into bits with a single hand. She has since gained control of her strength and has vowed never to use a weapon. (Ignore the dagger in her picture.) She never kills those that she fights but simply makes them no longer want to fight or otherwise incapacitates them.

Weaknesses

Beast - Annie feels like a monster, as if she could never return to a normal life after this.

Magic - Annie is weak to magic attacks especially those from Angels or otherwise Holy creatures due to Lucifer's influence.

Personality

Annie is an interesting character and almost always acts as if she knows more than anyone around her. She can be rather prideful despite often feeling sorry for herself. She tends to be very quiet but when speaking, speaks loudly and with authority. She, however, can still be very motherly and kind to those she thinks deserve it. ~Powers~

Reinforcement - It is the only ability she has. Reinforcement is as simple as it sounds; by gathering up her internal energies Remliel makes her body stronger and sturdier. The more she gathers and the denser and more compressed she makes it, the stronger she gets, however, gathering a certain amount not only takes long, but is also quite painful. For some reason, however, there are times when her Reinforcement causes unusual effects around her, such as the colors of nearby objects fluctuating. Remliel has no idea why and how this happens.

~Weaknesses~

Selfish - Remliel is a very selfish person, and not in the sense that she doesn't share her things. Remliel first and foremost focuses on herself, and usually doesn't think to help other people unless it could benefit her. Even when in a situation where her actions could affect other people, she usually thinks about what she wants to do, and disregards the consequences.

Reckless - Rarely does Remliel take care that her actions don't affect others or herself in an unwanted way. That doesn't mean that she wants it to happen, but she just doesn't think about it. Because of her recklessness, even normal actions tend to come out looking like something out of a Michael Bay film.

Impulsive - Looking before leaping is not something that she does often. Going hand-in-hand with her recklessness, her impulsive behavior makes it so that she may not even know what she's doing before she does something.

Choleric Temper - She gets angry fast and easy.

Dense - Remliel does not get subtly. If you want her to know something, it had better be told to her in a way that is direct and not hidden, otherwise, whatever hidden meanings you try to present will be lost to her. This also means that she is terrible at hiding secrets. Keeping them, she can do, but it will be obvious that she has a secret.

Defensively Lacking - Remliel lacks technique when it comes to her defense, which is basically tanking every blow with her body then hitting back even harder. This is a deliberate weakness on her part, however, and not because of lack of training.

~Personality~

Remliel is headstrong, stubborn, blunt and hard-headed. This stems from a long and festering inferiority complex that is well hidden to outsiders eyes. She believes that personal strength is the determining factor for everything, and suitably places her own personal strength above all else. Remliel has a tyrannical personality, in that she prefers to solve everything using force, and if that does not work, she uses more force. She is very ambitious, and always aims to surpass her own records and the feats of greatness preformed by other people. She is fiercely defensive and possessive of everything that she owns, and that includes her friends and family.

Despite her selfishness, Remliel will help someone out if she can and is she's asked, however, if she is asked for help, she goes against her usually impulsive and reckless personality to always ascertain that the problem that someone needs help with is something that actually needs help with, and not because they're just using her or are too lazy to do it themselves. This is because she dislikes laziness or people being to self-depreciating, and generally hate pathetic attitudes. Remliel believes that there is always a way to solve a problem, and that those who give up early are not worth anyone's time.

~Background~

Remliel's was the fifth born daughter of a powerful and influential clan. Said family valued beauty, power and elegance above all things, and typically, all the females of the clan had three similar traits: a beautiful face, a tall and voluptuous stature, and a huge rack. Remliel, in contrast, was short and rather plain looking in comparison. She had an above average bust, but it was nothing compared to her mother, sisters and in terms of facial attractiveness, even her brothers looked far more beautiful than she did. She was not very elegant either, and lack the cleverness that was so common in her family; she constantly blustered and banged her way through things.

She even lacked the abilities that many of her family were born with. To some extent, members of her clan could manipulate nature and the elements and were often hired to be priestesses or mediators for nature; the most prized ability of the clan, however, was the ability to manipulate souls and spirits of the recently diseased, and it was from this ability that their clans title came from: 'The Great Ghost Clan'. In comparison, the only thing that Remliel could do was Reinforcement, a basic ability that only children in the clan would do, before substituting it with more efficient and powerful techniques.

She was seen as the dark-horse of the family, and although they never mistreated her and in fact genuinely did care for her, there was always an air of disappointment from the people around her, which Remliel became unable to bear after years of living under it. Despite her best efforts, she was never able to do anything that seemed worthwhile, and in time, she came to value her own strength - the only thing she could rely on, and the only thing she seemed to be talented in.

Her mother, hoping to encourage her to make something else out of her life, something other than her family, sent her away to get away from the shadow she lived under while she stayed with them. Remliel feels very conflicted about this decision.

Nature Manipulation – Tsai can control all types of plant matter, making trees grow in certain ways or flowers bloom. More flexible plants, like vines, can even be manipulated to grab things for her.

Dryad Spirit - Like all dryads, Tsai is able to melt herself into trees or plants. She typically does this to rest or when she needs to heal, or even when she's trying to move quickly through a heavily forested area and can't be bothered enough to walk around trees – she'll jut go through them. She can also communicate with plants. They're not able to tell her anything specific, but Tsai will know if there's some sort of natural disaster or changes in the earth and environment. Unlike her other two powers, this is a passive, inherent ability that doesn't require energy to use.

Poison Touch – As a Castor Dryad, Tsai has the ability to produce poison from her skin. The toxicity level can range from giving you a slight rash to corroding metals and dissolving flesh from bone. This also means she is immune to all organic poisons and toxins.

Weaknesses

Fragility - A frail, tiny thing, Tsai is just as weak as she looks. She can't take a hit, can't lift things much heavier than a phone book, and should just stay out of physical situations overall.

Antisocial – Tsai does not play well with others. She is arrogant, dismissive, and just down right aggravating to almost everyone who has the misfortune of knowing her. Her pride keeps her from listening to others or accepting help even when it would be in her best interest to do so.

Vulnerability – Dryads get their power from nature, which is why most of them choose to live in forests or jungles – well away from civilizations and heavily developed areas. Because Tsai no longer lives in a forest, she tires more easily when using her powers or exerting herself, though working in a flower shop helps to remedy this, some.

Personality

Typically dryads (and nymphs as a whole) are thought of as shy, bashful creatures, too meek to approach others. This isn't the case with Tsai. She just doesn't like people. She is always composed, carrying herself as though she were a queen on some regal throne. Countless people who've met her have been baffled at how one so small can still manage to look down her nose at everyone. She uses her aloof demeanor to cover up any insecurities she may have, and is uncomfortable with almost every form of affection. She is a drifter, though not by choice, and maybe that's why she refuses to make any form of connection with others. The moment she finds herself falling into a routine with something, she uproots herself. It is her way of feeling some form of control over her circumstances. Maybe if she tells herself that she doesn't need a home or family often enough, she won't miss the one she lost quite so painfully.

Background

Tsai was expelled from her clan almost thirty years ago, for reasons unknown. She's not the sharing type, and her prickly personality tends to dissuade people from caring enough about her to ask, so much of her backstory remains a mystery. But expulsion from her fellow Dryads meant being forced to leave the forest she had once called home. Thus, she moved to the small towns that dotted the map, never staying in one place for too long. At the moment Tsai owns a flower shop in Osari. She can work wonders with the flowers and bouquets, making them bloom in beautiful arrangements, but it's best to keep her away from the customers. She hired Lily to help deal with that.

Haemokinetic Constructs - Being an heir to the Black family bloodline, Axel can control the blood that his body produces. Using this ability, Axel can create tools and/or weapons using the blood that escapes his body. He can also, using the same aspect of his ability, control the iron in his blood in order to harden or sharpen his “tools”. This can come in hand in multiple ways, but mainly is used to create a weapon to fight with the need arises. Although he can slightly increase his ability to produce blood, there is still a limit to how much he can use before feeling the side effects of blood loss. If he did not use the “tool” that he created, then he can reintroduce the blood back into his body with no ill side effects, but he if he did use the tool, he would no longer be able to allow the blood back into his body. This is due to his body rejecting the “tainted” blood.

Blood Boil - Axel can increase/decrease the rate of flow passing through his body in order to enhance all of his physical abilities to nearly double of an average humans. This is due to the fact that, by controlling the blood still inside his body, he can reinforce or enhance specific muscles in his body in order to produce the desired effect. This does rapidly increase the temperature of his blood , and could create extensive internal damage to Axel’s body if used for too long.

Muscle Mimicry - Axel can copy any movement/action after seeing it performed once or twice, including acrobatics, martial arts, and other physical stunts. With these skills he can become a master and incredible at what does, by combining what several forms and movements in rhythmic motions instead of using the same thing over. Axel cannot mimic an supernatural abilities and is limited to what his body can physically achieve.

Weaknesses

Sun - Along the rest of his race, the sun greatly reduces all of Axel’s physical and bloodline abilities. The strength of this weakness depends on the height of the sun during the day. When the sun is reaches its highest point, that is the time that Axel is at his weakest.

The Thirst - Being a vampire, Axel must sustain off of the blood of the human race. Even though there does exist a blood substitute, it does not satisfy Axel’s rich tastes. Axel will use the blood substitutes, but will eventually breakdown and seek out a source of human blood.

A Noble’s Pride - Axel has immense pride in his race and heritage. An insult to his race or family is a direct insult to him, and he will often get into arguments and fights due to this.

Axel J. Black has lived a life of luxury.Axel is the son of Lucius Black, the head of the Black family and a member of the Vampire Council. That means that the Black family is one of the most noble and wealthy families in the nation of Gortana. Since birth, Axel lived the life of a king. He was given everything the he ever wanted, and rarely had to work for it. He hated it. He had learned from his father that the balance of power in Gortana is a fickle mistress, and you must always be prepared to fight for your life. For 35 years, Axel studied under a multitude of martial arts masters, and he studied under even more academic mentors as well. No mentor stayed for more than a year, and most left after just a couple of months. Able to create, shape and manipulate ice, water frozen into a solid state and appears naturally in forms of snow, hail, icicles, ice spikes and candles, glaciers, pack ice, frost, and polar ice caps, and cold by reducing the kinetic energy of atoms and thus making things colder, for various effects and combinations.

Last but not least, it makes her at least resistant to the cold and hypothermia.

Weaknesses

Hot temperatures, the flame and anything that is hot counters the wonders of ice, magic or not. Even sound based magic because it shatters ice. Resistance over ice is granted however immunity isn't. Also, she hates summer. The effect of having cryokinesis is that it is a double edged sword. While resistant to the cold, the hot will make one bounce as in sensitive skin in hot weather and weakening of status/performance.

ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK! Psychics are intelligent beings but foolish in many ways truly which hinders and decreases their potency and performance. Rika rushes without thought which brings huge misunderstanding and negative vibes. In other words, taking things poorly in understanding and coming outright mean and idiotic.

Not so easy to open up if said person is the friend you want to bond with. As expected from an ice person. Half of her is cold. Self insecurity and angst.

Glass Canon. What do you expect from a long range fighter? Correct! Poor durability and endurance. It also doesn't help the fact that Rika is an ice person, she suffers badly in warm temperatures.

Over thinking things. Yes she does over think things and no matter what, she tries to make it logical. She also doesn't believe in magic which in a sense makes her a "racist".

Personality

Like some of her family members, she is quite aloof and reluctant to acknowledge certain people, but she's not above commending them when they truly deserve it. She is one hell of a curious person. Rika sees herself as a critical thinker which is rather the opposite due to how she reacts to certain situations. Unlike her parents. She is never over-confident, not obsessed with boys, but modest and treats her classmates nicely showing some degree of warmth.

Background

The Tsurara are chalk-full of influential people, scientists, cryo-geneticists, politicians and failures that are long forgotten. Rika sometimes uses her mother's surname instead of her father's which is unintentional through some birthright papers having a typo error and it's a tedious process to carry her father's surname. Like her mother and father, she carries the R naming theme of her parents, Rika is never met her mom in person but knows of her through pictures, email and her mother is always busy and that her father is the one that takes care of her.

One day, Rika replicated her mother's experiment; mixing liquid nitrogen in certain chemicals. During the winter season, there was a snowstorm and people have to stay in their homes to be safe, it was raining that day as well; as a matter of fact this was the theorized condition to replicate her mother's experiment and she was struck by lightning, leaving her in coma for a year. A strong change occurred in the 14 year old once Rika, discovered her new found power and hopes that it will bring her closer to finding her mother and give justice for her family of reuniting together. Physical Restoration: He can repair and return any broken or damaged non-living object to its optimal state no matter how long it has been broken or how damaged it was.

Since his angel and human side still battle out inside of him, magic can cause consequences to his body and mind. Side affects include major headaches, uncontrollable anger, emotional breakdowns and easily weak body.

Hunted: Nephilims are viewed as a disgrace and a complete mistake to every normal angel, making them a prime subject for hunting. There are entire choirs of angels dedicated to the extermination of nephilim.

Heaven’s Enmity: Most angels regard Nephilim as the worst kind of abominations, more detestable than even demons and devils. Most angels will always react negatively to a Nephil, and will always interpret the angel’s words and actions in the worst possible light. Only a direct order from the deity they serve will ever cause an angel to aid a Nephil in any way. Nephilim can never benefit from healing or other miracles from angels.

Unable to walk: Due to the attack somehow even though he can heal his legs never recovered and made him paralyzed waist below. He can’t walk or even move his legs and only main support for him to move is his wheel chair, without it basically impossible for him to move unless he drags himself. That makes him open to many attacks and can barely defend himself.

Personality

Zivon had changed a lot from his past, he used to be so frail and weak, he couldn’t fight or speak at all without wondering if he would get beaten up for it. He really lived a life of fear though things changed after the attack. Even though he is still scared anything loud or big scares him easily and he still has no spine he somehow can smile a bit more. Maybe he had accepted the fact that he is always scared but he had to learn to live in it. Thunder, big people, wax candles...it still all scares him but now instead of crying he runs...at least retrying to forget everything.

Losing the ability to walk cost him gravely though, even mentioning it he would just go silent and leave. He tries to be positive about it but it makes him feel like he is working to hard on it. Ziv does prefer to be alone but usually he would try and chat with people, hopefully to feel better sometimes. His powers though…it still scared him and to this point he tries to barely use it, covering his hands in bandages or gloves trying at least to prevent any casualties. Even though he is calmer with it…he still think its curse and sometimes he wishes he can cut his hands off.

Background

Zivon a hard life, when finding out his ability he has been shunned and beaten around for his "death touch". Lots of kids and teens loved to humiliate and beat the poor Ziv around but Zivon couldn't do anything about, he was to afraid to say anything or do anything. After the harassment went on for a long time until he was 12 his dad decided to move out just to protect him.

After another awful event that had him lived that wherever he go there was something out there for him, he grew even more afraid and trapped himself in a world of fear. After receiving a letter to Athalia academy he decided he didn't want to go but his dad wanted him to experience new things and try to forget what had happen to him before. He still didn't want to but his dad tried to insist him, making him believe he was strong enough to go and become the child he was before so he agreed just because he though he was causing his dad more trouble than before.

He did had a good school life until the attack, it really changed him a bit slowly he began to smile…even though he is more solitary he can smile again. Losing the ability to walk did affect him greatly he tries to ignore it and life normally but he somehow always regret something of it. It’s hard for him to really help with the community with his new disability but he tries for the most part.

Powers

PLASMA MANIPULATION: Ryuu Yamauchi is able to create plasma out of thin air and utilize them to his own will. This plasma has the potential to sear through non-organic targets, but is particularly blunt against organic targets. Ryuu’s plasma, however, is at its strongest when it is infused with an object. Once infused, Ryuu will be able to tear through many things. Ryuu usually infuses his plasma with his lightsaber. When given enough time to charge plasma, Ryuu can potentially create large shockwaves of plasma that shatter moderately powerful defenses.

CRYSTAL MANIPULATION: A power that the original Ryuu did not have (Unique ability to this particular Ryuu). Ryuu is able to generate pristine white crystals. This power seems to be strangely related to holy energy, but the otaku himself is unable to control this energy from emanating from the crystals he makes. When exposed to magic auras without actually touching the magic itself, the crystals may change color and allows Ryuu to create something similar to said magic with his skill level. The crystals may also be infused with plasma, meaning that he can change the type of damage his plasma blade deals. Crystal Manipulation is also useful for Ryuu’s defense, as he can create a crystal armor infused with plasma when he truly needs it.

Weaknesses

LIKE MEETS LIKE: Ryuu’s plasma can collide against hot objects, as well as other hot entities such as fire, plasma, and etc.

DEATH: Though Ryuu does not fear death, he fears the deaths of innocent people (in reality). He will avoid facing opponents to his fullest extent until he is sure that he can fight them in an area without innocent bystanders.

RANGE: Ryuu’s ranged attacks are nearly always outclassed by other ranged magic unless he charges his power.

WOMEN: Self-explanatory. This goes in many ways.

Personality

Ryuu looks and frequently acts like the local gangster. He has quite the arrogant mouth to those he considers to have the potential to be threatening towards him, and he contains a particularly strange mind that distorts the essence of situations he enjoys into something nonsensical. Though he may be arrogant, he has the tendency to think extremely quickly due to his experience of surviving alone. He will not hesitate in plummeting towards doom to save someone; a particular trait that never belonged to his previous iteration.

He absolutely loves anime and manga, and goes crazy whenever something lewd appears before him. Ryuu’s case of photophobia causes him to wear sunglasses nearly all the time. He takes them off sometimes, but only when he can without hurting his eyes.

Background

Ryuu Yamauchi was torn away from his alliance. Shortly after being deemed as a student killed-in-action, minor news broke out with information on him escaping an organization that captured him under the orders of Hell. Some believed it to be false news, some believed it fully and sought him out, only to find nothing related to him. Either way, Ryuu was not remembered well by most students who survived the war, as his supposed death occurred very early on the battle.

Five years has passed since then.

In the debris of a silent and abandoned laboratory, a man emerged from a capsule, not knowing where he was, or what he was doing. This man was set free by an unknown figure who paid the destroyed lab one last visit.

This man was also Ryuu Yamauchi. Though his name may be Ryuu, however, his memories were not like that of the original Yamauchi.

Knowing nothing about the war that erupted five years ago, Ryuu realized that he was in a jacket, jeans, and had some sort of toy strapped onto a belt. He was left with a single note that lay on the floor.

“RUN”

And Ryuu ran from the decimated laboratory. After he eventually learned about the land he was on, he fled to Oasari, where he still remained unsure of his purpose. He knew he had a family to protect, but he did not know who they were. Everything felt disconnected to him, but he remained strong for reasons unknown even to him.

He still remains strong, even without knowing what he should truly be strong for. And he will unintentionally wander into the path of the original Yamauchi and achieve something extraordinary.

1. "Floor Tilting" - The only ability Kathy had back in Athalia Academy. She can walk on any surface that can support her weight. Ignoring the laws of physics (mostly gravity), she redirects the influence of gravity towards the surface she is walking/standing on, enabling her to walk normally on virtually any surface. Anything she can carry with her normal physical strength can also be taken with her (i.e. if she’s holding something, then the object will experience a gravitational pull towards the surface Katherine is walking on instead of towards the actual ground). 2. "Gravity Reduction" - An ability discovered rather recently, during her independent travels. Any object she can lift with her hands (i.e. it is not tethered to the ground, it's a solid object she can actually grasp unlike gas or liquid), she can do so while ignoring its weight. This has nothing to do with superhuman strength, she is simply ignoring the laws of gravity for any object in her hands. Direct contact is needed, so while she would be able to effortlessly swing or push an object around, throwing something beyond her physical capabilities would be near impossible since the second she loses contact with the object, it would plummet right to the ground.

Weaknesses

1. "Mono-tasking" - Her abilities cannot be used simultaneously. She can either redirect her own gravity at her feet, or ignore gravity while lifting something with her hands. Not both at the same time.

Personality

Generally a friendly and approachable person, she does have a bad habit of over-thinking things at times. She likes to take things at a leisurely pace and is good at keeping her calm. While she isn't comfortable with conflict of any sort, Kathy tries to help others when she can. She smiles often, enjoys small talk and likes people with a good sense of humour... Or at least, this is how she was when the academy was still standing.

Most of the time it hardly seems like she's changed at all. She greets people with a warm smile and tries to be as helpful as possible for others. However... It's been years since anyone's heard her raise her voice, and while she shows the occasional frown, even her publishing editor (the person she most frequently comes into contact with) can't recall the last time he's seen her cry or show real anger.

In the last 4 years, Kathy has been working as an independent photographer. Travelling various nations and taking photographs along the way during her journey. This was possible despite Marcus's control because... Kathy was not one of the students that took a final stand against him to defend Athalia Academy. In fact, she left Lavanya to return to the mortal realm. She was withdrawn just before the fight by her protective parents when they heard news of potential trouble, and only learned about what happened to the academy several weeks after the remaining students were forced to flee.

It had been against her own wishes, but being under-aged at the time, her parents had more authority and actually went through the rigorous customs themselves to leave Lavanya with her in tow. Already having been sworn to secrecy during their entry into Lavanya, the process was just a little faster for her family as they were all humans 'returning' to the mortal realm. Through immense guilt, she could not bring herself to try to contact anyone or search for a way to return. She wasn't sure what she could say, or how she would be able to face them knowing that her friends had risked their lives to try to protect the academy while she was perfectly safe in the confines of her own home.

Upon reaching legal age, she immediately entered an apprenticeship with a famous photographer and essentially ran away from home. She stayed in contact with her parents, but it was very much against their will and she never returned home again. Now a fully independent professional, she traveled the world as part of her job, never staying in one place. As time passed, an odd pattern began to appear in her photographs. Fans and critics alike praised her for her unique photography; both common and unusual scenes captured at impossible angles and places where no man could possibly tread. At least, not without a unique ability. She kept to a very thin line of the secrecy she had sworn to; she never revealed anything about Lavanya or any of the residents there and only used her abilities when she was sure no one would be present to witness her. However... She used her abilities in secret, and it was evident in the photographs she published. In fact, a large part of her was hoping to be caught. To be 'dragged' back to Lavanya for breaking her oath since she did not know how to get back there herself.

She got her wish. About a year ago, she was detained by the officials of Lavanya and questioned for several months. Further punishment was a possibility, but after much review and consideration they let her off with a strict warning and forbade her from ever returning to the mortal realm without an official overseer present to ensure she would not abuse her abilities again. After much hardship and searching, she learned where the remaining students had fled to... But she could not bring herself to simply go to see them. At the very least, not without a way to make up for her absence 5 years ago.
