It was unbelievable, an atrocity that Emiri couldn't ignore in any instance, so she turned toward to the two and said, "How can you say something like this and still call yourself a magical girl? Are your proposing that we allow the Primordials continued existence just to use them as cattle? What will you do if you ever lose control of them? How many innocents you think that'll be lost because of your selfishness?"

"Eh, what happens happens," Elise casually responded, and took another slice. "I'm not gonna let any of them loose from there anyway."

"Oh, and I'm Miyako Komatsu, best magical girl in the world, and that's a fact. Isn't that right, Contractor?" She didn't exactly need him to back her up, but it would boost her credibility, as she waited for the inevitable reaction.

Elise's cheeks puffed something fierce, and her eyes got a fiery spark to them. It got even worse when the Contractor added:

After the girl had introduced herself with as much bravado as she could muster, the Contractor closed its eyes before ceding with, “I cannot deny, Miyako Komatsu, that you are an exceptional Magical Girl. Your wish was quite interesting to grant as well.”

Elise suddenly spoke out, and pointed at Miyako: "Oh, you think you're such a special little princess huh. We'll see how exceptional you are at eating dirt once I'm done with you in the ring." She then took a new bite. "Anyway, do continue," she then smugly said.

“So we’re all in agreement that until further notice, the origin point is to be destroyed,” Akame put in.

"Oh hell no!" Elise exclaimed in the pause, but was ignored.

“With that settled then, our next order of business is something a bit more light-hearted. Seeing as both Elise and Miyako are fresh Magical Girls, the three of us Senior Magical Girls are offering to train them for the coming battle at the origin point.”

Akame stopped right there, waiting for the eventual insults and comments to be thrown her. Honestly, it was as if human pride also increased when becoming a Magical Girl.

“Of course, you can choose to deny this training. However, in order to do that, you must first prove to us that you won’t get yourself or your allies killed in the heat of battle. Thus, you may only graduate from your training when you can beat me.”

Now Elise rose from her seat, pumped up. "Oh, you're on, granny! I can go right now!" she said confidently, and faked drawing a sword from her back. "But I guess you scaredy-pants don't want your precious tea party wrecked, so I'll be generous and wait until we take it outside." She smiled, glad to finally get to do some fighting instead of listening to her yammer on about boring stuff forever.

"But I guess you scaredy-pants don't want your precious tea party wrecked, so I'll be generous and wait until we take it outside." She smiled, glad to finally get to do some fighting instead of listening to her yammer on about boring stuff forever.

Rose sipped her tea quietly and just listened, but when Elise insulted Akame she had to speak. She spoke coldly yet calmly, "You have free will, Elise, Best not waste it trying to beat Akame. I might be older than her by a hair, but I hold no illusions about her powers as a magical girl. I would not take her one on one. Akame has been at this stuff longer than most. Best, just to not. I am willing to train you regardless. I want to taste your fury against my water." She was interested in seeing Akame fight Elise. The words just flowed from Rose's mouth and she just kept talking, saying much to do about nothing. Rose stopped herself and just returned the observer she normally was.

“So we’re all in agreement that until further notice, the origin point is to be destroyed,” Akame put in. “With that settled then, our next order of business is something a bit more light-hearted. Rose nodded respectfully, "You have never lead me wrong, Akame. If you want to destroy the nest than I will support your decision. I think we could easily spread out around the city and can scan whole zones for the origin point. Maybe out adorable friend (the Contractor) could collect the data from us and locate the nest." Rose took another sip of tea then refilled her glass. She was staying away from the sweets.

This Chiyo girl was rather nice. She had a warm smile that made Nanako feel comfortable around her, she became a lot less shy than before. The girl reached out her hand to Nanako, for a moment she looked at it...

"I'm... I'm Nanako... Na-Nanako Toujo. I'm eight years old..."
Placing her hand on her chest. Nanako chose to take some faith with this girl. Afterall, she is an impressionable child. She thought maybe, Chiyo would lead her to the other girls. Besides, if it came down to it, Nanako would transform and defend herself. She was reasonably confident that she could escape.

Nanako reached out and held Chiyos' hand.
"Kuroki-san... Can you take me to the other girls, please? I'm lost...."

Akame watched Elise’s fiery declaration calmly and with more than a little amusement in her eyes. She would not boast such loud proclamations until after the fight was settled, but the idea of Elise defeating her at this current level would be next to impossible. Still, younglings never learned until they were thrown into the lion’s den.

“I appreciate the words Rhea-san, but it seems even they won’t be enough to quench our young friend’s burning ambition,” she said, aware of the inside joke hidden within her words. “Very well. Let us test your skill outside because, as you so modestly pointed out, I would prefer if my tea party not be ruined today.”

The girl turned to leave, the Contractor bounding up and resting on her shoulder. Miyako and Emiri could follow to watch by all means if they wanted. The older Magical Girl was personally anxious to see what the two newbies could provide to the group effort.

Outside, the dark dressed girl’s warm smile never wavered. Instead, she reached out and gently patted the younger girl’s head before leading them down the hallway.

“Yes, I knew there were other Magical Girls here too. I’m new to this city myself, and I’d love to meet others like me,” she told Nanako in a soft voice.

It wasn’t long before Chiyo led them to the room with the magical barrier. The dark haired girl clenched Nanako’s hand a little tighter.

“Please hold on Nanako-chan. This might feel a little weird.”

In one instant they were outside the door and the next they were standing in the middle of Akame’s tea party. The flaming Magical Girl stared at their arrival with slightly widened eyes. They had gotten through the barrier? Not even Magical Girls could slip through, and these two were definitely Magical Girls. Akame’s surprise died down though as she sensed no malevolence from these two outsiders.

“Hello everyone,” Chiyo said happily. "We’re not late for the tea party, are we?”

"If that's what you think the best course of action is, I'm in with you, Akame." Emiri said in response to Akame's last statement, in fact the idea of training the other girls didn't seemed so bad to her at all, it was the least that Emiri could do to consolidate her status as a senpai.

Then, she turned to face Miyako, "If the Contractor is backing your claim, you must indeed be an out of the ordinary magical girl, Komatsu-san. However, a gem's true worth only shows after it has been cut and polished... that's why I'm offering myself to help guide you down the path of a magical girl. That is, if you wnat to join our team but don't want to take Akame on a duel..." Emiri then, set her tea cup aside and offered her hand for Miyako to shake, in a rather unjapanese-like way, but still a clear sign of her trust.

"Well then, I guess you have the right to see what Akame is capable of before making your decision. Would you care to follow us, Komatsu-san?" Emiri said as she followed Akame outside.

Before they could leave the room, however, Emiri's eyes widened a bit as a pair of intruders passed through the barrier that she'd set so carefully before. Defensive spells like that were one of Emiri's specialties and if those girls penetrated her barrier without even breaking a sweat, it meant that they too must be exceptional in the magical girl sense, at least.

Miyako nodded as the Contractor affirmed what she had said. Not, perhaps, in a direct method, but it would good enough to serve her point. She was the best, no two ways about it. And everyone here would find that out soon enough. She couldn't let herself be left behind in this struggle, as it were.

Of course, it seemed that not everyone approved, and she met Elise's gaze as the girl pointed at her, insulting her in the process. "I said it cause it's true," she replied, calmly, not rising to the bait of mutual antagonism. She knew she was for a fact, and didn't feel the need to vigorously defend her title. Not yet anyway.

A nod was given as Akame announced that they would go for the origin point, and offered training them at the same time. A nice gesture, but one that the green clad girl ultimately thought was unneeded. Which was why she was so relaxed with this all as she ate another cookie.

She shrugged then as Emiri addressed her once more. "Thanks, but like I said I'm not new at this. Just because I only recently moved here doesn't mean I'm a novice. I know what I'm doing." Perhaps she wasn't yet up to the skill level of these three, but it wasn't as if she was some rookie, at least from her point of view.

Still, she reached out to shake the girl's hand. "Sure," she added. Might as well go and see what the members of this group could do, if there was anything interesting they had skill wise. It'd be important for her own particular ability, when they found out about it.

Prepared to follow, she came to a rest as other girls came through the barrier. "Hello," she said with a wave. No one else was acting with hostility yet, so she wouldn't prepare to fight immediately. At least, not until she knew why they were here or something

"I said it cause it's true," she replied, calmly, not rising to the bait of mutual antagonism.

"You talk the talk, but can you walk the walk? That's what I'm gonna look forward to seeing the most," Elise said in a sinister tone.

I want to taste your fury against my water."

Elise laughed a bit. "And who asked for your opinion? Besides, I ain't joining no loser club unless I'm proven she's the real deal and not just relying on others cause they're weak."

“I appreciate the words Rea, but it seems even they won’t be enough to quench our young friend’s burning ambition,” she said, aware of the inside joke hidden within her words. “Very well. Let us test your skill outside because, as you so modestly pointed out, I would prefer if my tea party not be ruined today.”

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Elise shouted. Finally she shut up. If that would have went on any longer I would have started breaking stuff. But now I'm getting something good: a fight with a magical girl. This ought to be more interesting than the dumb monsters.

Elise's thoughts were interrupted when two new girls suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Elise wasn't surprised at all at their unexpected arrival: as a user of teleportation herself she knew people could suddenly materialize anytime. She was curious to know if the girls used the same kind of magic she did, or something different. The black-haired girl seemed to belong to this group of "super duper best friends" crap, but the brat was obviously new: she looked like an elementary schooler. She didn't approve of a kid like her being dragged into fighting monsters, not because she particularly cared about them, but for the simple reason that they were too young to be effective warriors, and would just die in a fight. But Elise had bigger things to think about than that. It was time for a challenge of a lifetime.

Rose drank the rest of her tea and began to pour yet another glass while everyone said their piece. She did not feel a need to reply when Elise laughed at her advice. She rose her refilled cup to her lips and peered out over the rim at the others. She observed everything. Rose listened to every word, noted every movement of the girls, even the way their hair fell as they spoke. She could almost taste Elise's war lust over the taste of her tea. Elise did not seem to like anyone. No doubt, Elise only valued strength. Only being defeated would or could Elise be humbled. Her powers were still unknown to Rose.

Scanning over to the other magical girl, Miyako, Rose made some tactical observations. Clearly there was a strong superiority complex in Miyako but it was different than that in Elise. Elise valued only strength and clearly might makes right. However, Miyako seemed to believe her superiority to be almost a godsend. Any evidence against it would be ignored like a jogger ignored an ant. Maybe not, but she did have the support of the contractor. Which could mean one thing, that Miyako made a wish having to do with superiority or being superior. Her words suggested something to that effect that her superiority was fact and the contractor doesn't lie except through omitting. Miyako would be an interesting girl to work with.

Without warning, two new girls enter the room. Straight through the magical barrier meant to keep outsiders well... outside. Doubtful that it happened by random luck. Rose finished her tea and began to pour another glass. No doubt one of the girls would think she was hogging all the tea for herself. Anyways, Rose took note and instintually began to read any information given off by the girls. Both new girls were clearly magical. Passing the barrier left only that conclusion. One girl looked very young, but that itself was not surprising. Rose herself had not aged a minute since entering into the contract. The other seemed oddly confident. Not hostile, but that is not the same as not being well... not hostile. Rose sipped her tea and just watched.

“Hello everyone,” Chiyo said happily. "We’re not late for the tea party, are we?”
Chiyo

Chiyo had done just as she promised. She taken Nanako to the meeting room with the other magical girls by squeezing through a magical barrier. When the two passed through, there was a strange sensation that tingled through Nanako, she couldn't really explain the sensation...

The meeting place seemed to have be fancied up. It seemed like a really royal banquet to Nanako, she suddenly felt rude for barging in. That aside, there were actually quite a number of girls here. All older than Nanako by the looks of them all. She gripped tighter on Chiyos' hand and hid behind her a little, her shyness began to get the better of her. Although she still made the effort to greet and compliment them all.

"Hello... I'm Nanako... And... And this is my friend Chiyo, she helped me find my way here. She's really nice. Mr. Contractor said I had to meet with you all here. But I got lost because your school is so big... "

Nanako looked around some more, spying tea and biscuits. She wanted one. A buscuit that is. Maybe just a cup of milk to go along with it. Gathering her courage she stepped out from behind Chiyo.
"It's quite nice to meet you all!"

“How did you get in here?”

Akame wasn’t looking at Nanako but rather the dark haired girl that must have caused the phenomenon. Her tone of voice was automatically hostile due to so many years of fighting. Could one really blame her for being a little suspicious? Then she noticed Nanako hiding behind the older girl in either fright or shyness. Probably both.

Chiyo turned around slightly to pat the girl’s head in encouragement before turning her soft smile back on the other group of girls, even nodding in appreciation to Miyako’s greeting. Akame cleared her throat before making her eyes a little less scary.

“Apologies for my rash outburst,” she said with a smile. “I’ll admit I didn’t expect anyone to walk through the barrier like that.”

“It’s quite alright,” Chiyo answered back. “You didn’t know and so you weren’t expecting the impossible to occur. It’s quite common really.”

“I see. Welcome to Miso City then. You’re both Magical Girls, yes? My name is Natsuko Akame. Please, help yourself,” she said with her gaze trained on Nanako.

It looked like they would be gaining two new members quicker than expected. She would take on the role of training Nanako then as well as Chiyo. That is, unless Rose or Emiri wanted two students for themselves.

“Good afternoon Nanako Toujo!”

The Contractor turned its head to the two new girls. It remained silent for a while longer before addressing Chiyo properly.

“And you too Chiyo Kuroki. I see you’re still as intricate as ever.”

“Indeed Contractor, though you can stop with the flattery,” Chiyo said with an airy giggle. “You’re making me blush.”

“We were just in the middle of a performance. Please, feel free to watch,” Akame said, leading Elise back outside to the rooftop. It was still down pouring, though nature meant nothing to a Magical Girl. Taking up a position on one side, Akame watched her opponent for this mock battle calmly.

“Emiri-chan, please referee this match. The first move is yours Elise.”

"It's quite nice to meet you all!"

Turned out the black-haired girl was also new. Not that Elise actually cared in the first place.
"Whatever kid. Just stay out of my way," Elise said as she passed by her and followed Akame to the rooftop. It was still raining, but it didn't cool her blazing soul one bit, in fact it excited her even more since it was so cinematic. She was in magical girl uniform, and ready for some rumbling.

“Emiri-chan, please referee this match. The first move is yours Elise.”

Elise summoned her greatsword, and with one swift motion, split the weapon in half, turning them into two regular swords.

If I'm going to win this I'll have to stay on watch first. She could be using exclusively magic, melee or a combination of both. At this point I'll need less reach and power, and more speed and parrying capability. But when she thinks she's winning, I'm going to bust out my ace and take her by surprise.

She took a defensive posture with her swords, ready to block and dodge anything the other magical girl would throw at her, and then taunted: "What? Are you too chicken to attack me? So much for our gracious somepain!"

Emiri didn't let the intrusion of the two new girls shake her for too long, though, specially after she noticed Nanako hiding behind the person that was responsible for piercing her barrier. She lowered herself to the meet the smaller girl eyes and said, "You heard my friend, if you want a biscuit you just need to ask. But," Emiri then turned to face Rose who had been sneakily hogging all the tea, before addressing Nanako again, "if you want some tea you'd better grab it before my other friend dries the pot, isn't it Rhea-san? If you prefer I can get you some flavored milk from one of the vending machines also."

After saying that, Emiri produced her spellbook with a graceful gesture of her right hand and, after flipping its pages seemingly at random, she summoned the "White Rabbit", her favorite non-combat familiar to fetch whatever drink Nanako might want. "Well then, sweetie, you can bring the biscuits with you, but your onee-san* are leaving for the roof for a friendly fight between those two," Emiri pointed towards Akame and Elise, "Why don't you come with us? Ahh, yes, you can ask anything you want from Peter."

Then, Emiri stood agin and met Akame in the eyes, "Sure, Akame, but if I see any signs of any of you aiming for the other's Soulgem I'll have to interfere, understand? I don't want to see any more magical girls dying and do nothing."

Before leaving the room, Emiri turned towards Rose and said, "I'm sorry for what I've said earlier, Rhea. But please, don't talk like you don't care for people's lives anymore, that's not how you are."

And finally to Miyako, "If you say that you don't need training I'll believe in your words, but keep in mind that at least I can teach you how to move around in this city. Other than that, it's up to Akame to decide, but I'm looking forward to work with the world's best magical girl."

*Note: this was meant in the plural, but since I don't want to attach a needless -tachi at the end of the word, I guess I'd better explain it here.

Miyako was far from intimidated as Elise answered in a tone that did not bode well. If she wanted to tussle with the Best Magical Girl in the World, then she would have to be prepared for thew consequences. Certainly Miyako was, and she would look forward to their own match, to decisively prove who was superior. It was the easy way in the end.

She looked over at the new arrivals as she waved, wearing a smile. Well, if Nanako didn't remind her of her own siblings at that. Now would be the perfect time to cement herself as a role model, beyond the three girls already present. That was one of the reasons behind her wish after all, and she couldn't simply ignore the opportunity when it came.

"Hello," she reiterated. "I'm Miyako Komatsu, the Best Magical Girl in the World." It didn't necessarily need to be repeated, but it was part of her image. She could hardly leave it behind when someone had arrived who didn't know it. Elise would have her turn eventually, so she would have to deal with it. "It's a pleasure to meet both of you."

Her attention diverted to Emiri, as she offered to show her where things were in this city. That couldn't hurt, and it didn't hurt either that her ego was stroked through the use of her correct title. "Sure," she agreed with a nod and a smile. "That'd be nice." If she knew where to find things, then she'd be that much more set. At the same time, she noted that Familiar summoning trick. That seemed useful

That said, Miyako grabbed a final snack as she moved to the roof, noting the rain and taking a position off to the side and out of the way. Time to see what the two girls she was watching could do. This was sure to be interesting.

Rose pushed the tea pot away from her. She had been hogging it and yes, she knew it was polite to share with the girls. She might have had more if she had not been noticed. Rose finished the tea left in her cup then stood up. It was time to go watch the fight between Akame and Elise. Rose nodded in acknowledged the comment and apology Emiri said to her. However, Rose did not grace it with a verbal answer. Rose did not like to be known by many. She acted the cold hearted outside observer. Emiri had seen right through her act. Rose trusted Emiri as much as she did Akame. Emiri's words meant something to her.

Rose began to head up stairs to watch the fight when she realized neither of the girls who broke the barrier were tracking what was going on. She stop and smiled politely, "Miss Chiyo and Miss Nanako, since you two came late, I feel obligated to inform you of what is happening. I will not insult your intellegence by explaining that our enemy are the Primordials. However, new evidence has surfaced suggesting that a nest of the primordials might exist and that one might be here in Miko City. We are going to have to use all the magical girls we can get to locate then eliminate the nest or else stronger and stronger Primordials will spawn with greater frequency. Akame, Emiri, and myself are already an effective team. We have been protecting this city for years now together. We would appreciate if you both would help us. We will train you... train might be the wrong word. We will take you under our wings and get you ready for the coming fight. If you do not want our 'training', for lack of a better word, then you can refuse. However, we need to be confident in your abilities. That means you must fight Akame and win. Clear?" Rose still smiled. She wondered to herself if she was clear and understood by the two. Also, it might be noticed that she did not introduce herself to the two girls despite using their names. Rose walked passed the two and went outside into the rain to watch the fight.

Chiyo listened close to Rose’s explanation of things with a tilt of her head before saying, “I see. Well I’ve come to help in any way I can.”

She paused briefly before continuing, seeming to think of her next words.

“Actually, I’m from the neighboring town, Kazamino City. The one next to Mitakihara? Frankly, I think I’m a little tired of working on my own so it’s nice to be with girls similar to me for once. So I’m willing to learn all that you can teach me,” she said with a bow.

The dark haired girl smiled before giving Nanako another pat on her head. Turning on her heels, she followed the rest of the group without grabbing a cup of tea or a snack for herself. She did raise an eye though at Emiri’s familiar summoning before entering the rain soaked area that would become a battlefield in a few moments. She took a seat next to Miyako, hands placed on her lap neatly.

“So what brings you out to Miso City?” she asked kindly, trying to make small talk. “Were you summoned by the Contractor as well?”

In the beat of the rain, Akame nodded to Emiri’s words. It wasn’t her intention to aim for the younger girl’s Soul Gem, but she was grateful that her fellow Magical Girl would step in if needed. The Contractor jumped away from her shoulder just then and bounded over to land in Emiri’s lap. It shook itself dry before cuddling up in the golden Magical Girl’s arms.

The show was about to begin.

Elise spoke aloud three times. Two questions and a statement. When the first question was spoken, Akame drew her Chokuto in one clean motion without fully transforming into her Magical Girl attire. When the second question was asked, Akame was already about a foot away from the other girl. By the time Elise had finished proclaiming her insult, Akame was already slicing away effortlessly.

Akame was using only one hand. To the two who knew her, they would note that she was regularly a two handed fighter. It was obvious she was holding back significantly, and with good reason for it.

Each of her swings had the force of a freight train behind them and she did not lower her speed. She simply kept slashing in consecutive strikes, moving so fast that it looked like after-images of her blows were being witnessed. She did not speak, did not flinch, only slicing away like a machine.

Whether Elise was going to do anything about it had yet to be seen.

Elise expected a straight-out assault, and was prepared for it: she kept parrying the blows Akame handed, but with the amount of strength and speed put behind every single blow she wouldn't last long keeping on the defensive, even if her opponent wasn't using her full strength. Akame was stronger than anything she's ever fought in her entire life, and that made Elise's grin wider than anything seen before. Her heart was starting to beat faster and faster in the excitement of the battle, her blood starting to course through her veins like untold crimson snakes, lusting for red liquid. She loved every second of it.

Now that she saw her opponent's technique, it was time to strike back: Elise thrust one of her swords in a fluid motion so it would get caught on Akame's own blade, even if for the smallest fraction of a second, and then made a swift slash with her other blade, taking advantage of the opponent only using one hand while she was using two. After that, she would jump back and make a lunge if she saw an opening caused by her distracting move. It was at this point that Elise bared her teeth like a beast, as her descent into bloodlust and the lure of frenzy began.

Nanako nodded. She was still rather shy after suddenly just being introduced to all of these people. Although she could tell they were an honest bunch and were trying their best to be friendly. Their kindness helped Nanako to open up a little more. They all were obviously more powerful than her, although that's not a guarantee, she felt as because they were older, they were all inherently stronger than her. That aside, she grew a sense of protection around them. Nanako quickly grew fond of Emiri-san, as she reminded her of her mother and apparently she had the ability to summon cute animals, if she asked like Emiri said, maybe the rabbit would get her some banana milk....

"An Usagi! Oh wow! That's really amazing Emi- I mean.. Onee-san." She quickly walked over to meet the rabbit. It was about the same size as her, so she could talk to it like it was one of her everyday friends. "So, if I ask you nicely, you'll get me a banana milk? I mean... If it's not too much trouble of course." The rabbit sort of responded. It twitched its head and kind of nodded, before bouncing off to some other place.

Though Nanako was young, she understood what was going on. It had been explained to her at least once before by the contractor who happily gave her a hello just earlier. From her understanding, there were several evil monsters that were ether eating or killing innocent people and Nanako had to help stop them. This was further explained by another girl with two long twin tails. She was really beautiful. But apparently, if she was going to receive any training, she would have to fight Akame. The very first girl that Nanako saw when she entered the room. The one that scared her the most. She walked with everybody to where the girls were about to fight. It was both going to be a spectacular fight... and frightening. Once the battle had began, Nanako witnessed how truly strong these girls were. She fairly sure she was nothing in comparison. She had never even used her powers aside from once when she accidently transformed.

Tugging on Chiyos' arm she said to her.
"Do we really have to fight her? I don't know how long I will last. If it all..."

In the viewing area, Chiyo gave Nanako one of her reassuring smiles.

“Hmm, I think you misheard the nice girl Nanako-chan. You only have to fight her if you don’t want training. You do want to become a stronger Magical Girl, right?”

She looked down at the younger girl, waiting for an answer before turning back to watch the ongoing struggle.

Akame did not flinch as Elise lunged forward to catch one of her blades on her own. Noting the follow-up move, she disengaged faster than before, pushing away the first with a flick of her wrist to counter the second strike. Sparks flew out into the pouring rain as the swords clashed harshly. Before she could counter though, Elise had already jumped back, rearing for another lunge. Eyes never wavering, Akame dashed forward to meet the other head on, slicing away in a crossed pattern to block and counter the lunge.

The bared teeth were a little bit concerning. It almost seemed like the other Magical Girl was enjoying this too much. Akame had no doubt that a bloated personality like hers probably enjoyed battle, but there was an extent to such things too. If the other girl became berserk, Akame would have no qualms in reining her in to protect the others.

That would be another thing Elise would have to learn. Controlling her bloodlust.

Elise was ecstatic. The sparks that emerged from the clashing of their swords was like a beautiful fireworks show to her, and the blows they delivered to each other was like a refined dance. However, she was getting irritated. She realized she wouldn't defeat her opponent in a straight duel: Akame was simply too powerful for her to overcome, as tenacious as she was. Amidst her grunting, there was now the occasional growl and snarl added in as Elise grew more frenzied during the fight, adrenaline flowing through her like a flooding river. Her attacks were starting to come out faster and stronger, and while they would still be below Akame's level, even she had to become more cautious in the face of such emerging ferociousness. Then, Elise decided to stop playing around, and use her magic, a choice that Elise would not have done consciously, but was overruled by the beast inside her.

Her sub consciousness was also a stage of a battle, and it was between the two sides of her identity: the disciplined soldier, who would stand firmly and with a calm mind in any clash, and the beast, a blood-soaked monster that never hesitated in ripping the flesh of any foe she would encounter. The soldier stepped across the multitudes of corpses adorned with claw marks, and proudly proclaimed: "I will not let you win, beast. You are but mere game to hunters, to be tracked down and adorned on the walls of a huntsman as a prize."

But the beast only laughed as she bit a chunk out of a slain human, and growled back: "You are powerless without me, soldier. Drink of my blood, and let us reap the blood of others. They will flee before our claws and teeth. There is much bloodshed to be had, and many prey to loose our wrath upon. Give in to your desire." The soldier stood her ground, but the beast grew larger and larger as the battle continued. It was clear who would soon be the victor over her state of mind.

Elise teleported directly behind Akame, and taking full advantage of the element of surprise, swung her recombined great sword with the intent of knocking her high into the air. She then immediately teleported again, this time above Akame, and swung her great sword down like a guillotine while giving out a war cry. She brought her weapon down with enough force to shake the entire building, and punched a hole through the rooftop. The classroom below was completely destroyed by the debris as a result.

Akame stiffened as the aura of the other girl began to change. It was primal, horrid, and out for destruction. In fact, it almost reminded her of the raw presence felt by a Primordial. The only difference was that in place of instinct, Elise was driven by desire. She needed to end this before the others got hurt.

Sensing Elise behind her, Akame quickly deflected the blow without looking, swinging her sword to block. The force of Elise's swing propelled her skyward, rainwater meeting her hair and face. She blinked against the water just in time to see the other girl rocketing down towards her.

The senior Magical Girl did not share in her opponent's fanatics for battle cries, merely taking the brunt of the blow with the side of her sword in silence. As soon as her feet made contact with the ground again, she shouldered the other girl's sword away and leaped back, just as the area around them exploded.

It was a good thing school was out right now, lest there be unwanted casualties. Still, the action alone was enough to sharpen Akame's gaze. This girl will learn to control her power. Putting innocents in danger was not part of their mission and such careless behavior would not be tolerated by the older Magical Girl.

All of this passed through Akame's mind as her eyes shifted into a fiery orange, flames seeming to burn in her pupils. She didn't even have to move; her magic was already taking effect. One moment it was raining hard and the next, nothing. No drops, no water. Nothing. In actuality, the rain was still pouring but it dissolved instantly about ten feet above Akame and Elise.

The flaming Magical Girl knew the battle was over. It was just a matter of time before Elise would exhaust herself. She would not be effected, but Elise would feel all the moisture in the air gone, replaced now with probably the harshest dry spell she would ever experience. And it was all focused on her alone. She would sweat and even that would dry up, soon rendering the young girl with little water in her body at all. Akame watched with a placid gaze. The more Elise would try to move, even the slightest movement, the hotter the air would become, making it painful to even breathe.

Elise wanted to scream, but was unable to, her throat drying up by the power of her opponent's magic. All the sweat and water on her skin evaporated into the air, and a great heat began overtaking her body. Her thirst for blood expanded tremendously as a result, however, and she finally lost all control. She now gave in to her primal urges, and turned into a blood-starved being, devoid of human will. All her thoughts now revolved around dismembering, decapitating, and otherwise beating Akame to a bloody pulp. And like a cornered animal, she lashed out in a desperate attempt kill her as brutally as possible.

In a blind fury, she now teleported and slashed with rapidly accelerating speed, soon turning into a hurricane of red blurs and sword sparks. Her blinking was erratic and unpredictable, sometimes teleporting multiple times without attacking, other times dealing a blow with every appearance. Her magic was rapidly draining by the abuse of her power, and the stress on her body was enormous, causing her blood to pressurize and rupture blood vessels. Overtaken by the beast that was her bloodlust, she was beyond victory, and sang her swan song by way of reveling in carnage.

This time, Akame sighed. She knew the heat was taking effect and the more Elise exerted herself, the harsher the drought would become. But who she was to deny such a warrior's purpose? So she fought back, albeit with more precise strikes as opposed to Elise's berserker approach.

The teleportation was becoming predictable now with the heat being a factor, Akame leaping back and countering the blows. The one that did escape her blade found nothing but more hot air to slice through as the girl dodged the strikes.

"Elise, you can stop now," she said calmly in an attempt to reason with the beast. It probably wouldn't work but she at least had to try.

"You're losing more magic the more you fight back and that heat won't go away until I make it. Understand that this is only a fraction of my magical power. As you've noticed, I haven't even transformed yet. Please, for your own sake, stay your blade. You cannot defeat me as you are," Akame said, more than a little concerned at the physical strains showing themselves on the other girl's body.

Seeing that her suspicions were correct and that her words weren't being acknowledged, Akame gripped her blade and dashed in to finish this battle. Weaving her way from the messy slices, she positioned her sword and jabbed the hilt of her blade right into Elise's gut.

It wouldn't be enough to knock her out, but she hoped the force and crushing pain would at least force her out of her Magical Girl transformation. Just to be sure though, Akame's eyes lit up as a mighty torrent of flame exploded from her hilt.

The horizontal pillar would pierce right through the other girl and ignite her insides, ensuring that she stay down for good. Nothing a little magic couldn't heal, but it would hurt like hell. At once, Akame jerked her sword back and twisted around to deliver a final, stinging kick into the girl's abdomen, sending her skidding back on the ground.

Elise fell to the ground with a thud and crack as most of the bones in her body broke and her limbs were twisted by the impact. Her body met the limit it would take, and was now suffering intense internal bleeding. She vomited a stream of blood from her mouth, coughing weakly as it flowed. Her eyes were now starting to dim, and she could only see one color, which wasn't hard to guess at this point. She slowly licked the pool of her own blood that was quickly forming around her.

"...Fresh...blood...It's...ambrosia..." She managed to gargle out before she finally fell into unconsciousness.

Akame watched the injured girl, sighing with a shake of her head. Rose was going to have quite the experience with this one. Her sword being stored away, the heat around Elise's body would begin to dissolve into nothingness. The rain was allowed to pour down on the unconscious girl's body and Akame stooped to scoop up the younger girl and carry her out of the water's path.

As she walked back to the others, her Soul Gem began to glow frantically. She paused, knowing full well what the signal meant. It was just her luck that the other Magical Girl was in dream land at the moment, though maybe that was the best. Getting back to the others, she gently placed Elise down next to Rose before glancing up at the raining sky.

"A Primordial has appeared," she said aloud, affirming the thoughts that were no doubt on everyone else's mind.

The Contractor watched in staring silence.

Rose watched to fight. She made extensive metal notes on Elise and Akame. The two were similar in some ways, but Akame at least knew how to maintain control. As for fighting styles, Rose was pleasantly surprised to see that Elise's sword divided into two. It seemed like an effective strategy. You lose the mass behind the strike when they are separated but you gain the advantage of versatility of dual wielding. Impressive tactic but Rose knew Akame was too good for it. Teleport! Elise had the ability to teleport. That was a surprise to Rose. Teleporting is a fantastically tool to use in combat. As long as it was used with intelligence. Akame wasn't even fully transformed and she was still parrying Elise. When Elise began to lose control of her bloodlust, Akame answered by a drought spell. Funny, Akame developed that drought spell to handle Rose originally. It was a perfect counter for a fire user to use against the superior art of water. A little tame by Akame's standards and unusual for this fight. The drought was enough clearly to force Elise to collapse. No matter how good one is or how much drive they have, it is hard to deny the physical limits of the body.

Elise was out cold. No surprise. Rose wished that Akame did not force Elise to overheat like that. Once a person's body failed to regulate its internal temperature even once, the body has a harder time preventing it a second time. Rose knelt down next to Elise. Immediately, Rose began to work her magic. Using cold water to lower Elise's body temperature. Using water magic, Rose healed up Elise putting her in good health once more. Rose looked up at Akame, "Akame, please go take down that primordial. I will guard Elise until she wakes up. There are still plenty of other magical girls that can aid you this time. If Elise or I come under attack, the rain will aid me in a defense."

Chiyos' reassurance was something Nanako really enjoyed. If she was going to call anybody Onee-san, it would be her. She was thankful that she would not have to fight anybody she had just met. Especially not somebody as powerful as them. In response to Chiyo, Namako nodded.

The battle... It was shocking. Nanako had never witnessed anything so destructive and magical. Only things on TV, but they're note real, nor as impacting as what she was witnessing. The clashing of weapons sent sparks flying and created scrapping noises that perieced the noise of the city. In a way, Nanako felt lucky to be fighting alongside such strong allies, whilst watching, sparks lit in her eyes and she became more resolved to help them.

It was sudden, shocking and terrifying as Akame called out to the other magical girl, Elise. Something changed in her. Like she was overcome by some evil spirit. Not any silly shrine paper would stop her though... The girl began to roar and lose her humanity. The sight scared Nanako, she turned away from the fight. Placing her face againt Chiyo.

The next time Nanako looked back, she saw Elise, against the ground. Practically drowning in her own blood. The sight... Was affecting Nanako in many ways... Small tears formed from her eyes. The sight was too much to bare for her. But it was not over yet... A Primordial had made an aperance. Even Nanako knew what that would mean. She held back her tears, and mustered up all her courage. She wanted to help slay the beast with Akame.

Akame... A magical girl so powerful, she didn't need to transform to fight with so much power.. It was enough to make Nanako feel inferrior, but still determinded to try and prove herself.
"T-take me with you Akame-san! Please! I want t-to help!"
Nanako was prepared to transform and aid Akame.
