"Akame!" Emiri shouted her comrade put Elise's battered body on the ground for Rose to heal her. The fight was way too brutal, and there were many moments Emiri wanted to interfere, but since Akame made sure that they kept it within the limits of non-lethal hits, though the charred body beside her almost indicated the contrary, Emiri never could get to stop the fight.

"We'll talk about how we are going cover this much damage to the school building after we get back. Now there's more important matters at hand." Emiri said referring to the Primordial that appeared somewhere in the city. "Our numbers are reduced, however, so I think the best course of action is to split in two groups of two, to cover as much ground as we can. I'll take Miyako with me, you look over Chiyo and Nanako-chan."

Somewhere within the city...

A distorted figure whose form vaguely resembled that of a girl wearing a frilly dress and wielding an wicked-looking axe, walked unseen amongst the masses of people on a train station, that was very crowded given the fact that many people were still going back home from their work.

She skipped a step, and then, two more, before twirling her body like a ballerina, all the while was giggling just as psychotic smile framed her face... "Ahhh!" A second later, just as the train was about to arrive a woman dressed like your typical office lady, yelled in pain as the wicked blade fell on her back, hacking her flesh very painfully and splashing blood and gore over those nearby. The agony was so tremendous that the woman stumbled and fell on the train tracks.

"Oh, God, no!" She screamed in despair just a moment before the train turned her body into a nothing but a mass of red stains over the tracks.

"Hehehe..." The Primordial giggled as she began to feed on the scraps of flesh from the body of the poor woman who'd met such an unjust end.

Miyako watched as the fight began whilst off to the side. She wasn't sure what she was expecting from this, but at the very least it would be interesting. It would provide a look at a skilled veteran as well as a competitor, something that was definitely valuable. It would give her something to strive for in the end, to match those she now found herself associated with.

And she was not disappointed as the fight began. Indeed, it was more frantic and violent than she had expected, Akame proving herself a dangerous opponent and Elise with quite a bit of skill to boot, though she noted the berserker rage. Well, at least she could take comfort in the fact that that sort of thing would never be happening to her in a fight. She had more control than that. And she got to see their abilities, indicating what she could draw on when it came to a fight.

She watched with wide eyes as the fight reached it's practically brutal conclusion, held in place even though she knew it couldn't happen to her. Dear god, that was just....unbelievable. How could a person, even a magical girl, keep going after something like that/ Not easily, that was for sure.

"That was....excessive," she noted aloud, as if it needed to be said at this point. Again, merely a confirmation that the same would not be expected from her.

Then there was no more time to worry about it, as Akame informed them that a Primordial had appeared. That was quite the range of detection, she would admit, but Miyako was confident that she could match it, given time and experience. With that, she could be Akame's equal, if not her better. Her wish made it so.

She looked between those discussing what to do as she smiled confidently. "I'm ready to help out," she said to them, grinning. She had to show them all what she could do, and that her title wasn't just talk. And this would be the best way to do that.

With Rose's magic, Elise's mangled arms and legs re-knit back together, and her body temperature was brought back to normal. She then showed first signs of life by orally emptying the remaining loose blood inside her all over Rose while she was leaning over her, followed by her coughing and gasping for air. Her eyes were moving back and forth; she was still in a daze, and laughed a bit in delirium.

“Alright then,” Akame said to Rose before glancing at the other Magical Girls assembled before her. “Make sure she stays put until we get back. We don’t need heroics from someone that can barely breathe right now.”

“And I’ll stay with them too,” the Contractor said gleefully, bounding off to land near Rose’s form. “Please take care of the Primordial for me Akame Natsuko.”

“If that’s what you want. Kuroki-san, Toujo-san, please stick close to me. I don’t need to tell you how dangerous a hungry Primordial is. They may look like one of us, but they will not hesitate to strike. Please, do not take any unnecessary actions. Send a message if you find it first Emiri-chan. We’ll deal with the school when we return,” Akame said before bounding off the rooftops.

“That was quite a match you had,” Chiyo complimented to Elise before grabbing onto Nanako’s hand and swiftly pursuing the flaming Magical Girl.

Elsewhere, the distorted figure with the axe giggled airily to herself as blood and red mush covered its form. It leaped away, eager to consume more and more prey to sate its bloodlust. Something else caught its attention though and the dark figure looked up at the sky idly. Something…tasty. Magical…Magical Girls…yes, very tasty….

The Primordial grinned, or at least it attempted to, before running through the streets like a madwoman. It swung its axe haphazardly, not caring if the blade hit any unsuspecting passersbys. Soon enough, the air was tainted with the smell of metal and stained scarlet.

That wasn’t the end of the problem unfortunately. As Akame and Emiri’s groups left to combat the rampaging Primordial, another force set its eyes on the forms of rose and the incapacitated Elise. Giggling to itself, a crooked silhouette creaked out of its hiding spot to reveal what appeared to be a girl’s sailor suit along with a giant pair of scissors. Dragging them on the ground, the creature belted out into a mad charge at the two Magical Girls, leaping across the near shattered school rooftop.

There were two Primordials loose in the city.

Rose knelt next to Elise. She sat back on her heels and looked over her dress. She hoped blood would wash out of magical attire. Come to think of it. Rose never had thought of washing her magical girl outfit. It was always clean when she transformed. Did the Contractor do it in his off time or something. The sight of the blood did not unnerve Rose one bit. The red blood however did clash with the dark blue of her dress. Rose place her hand gently on Elise's shoulder, "Just lay still. There is no need to exert yourself. Just breath."

Rose watched Akame and the others move out after the Primordial. The Contractor chose to stay. Several questions ran through Rose's head at once. It was not often that Rose and the Contractor had one on one time. Only when needed did the Contractor come calling. Why did he stay? Was it to make sure Rose did not kill Elise? Rose only silenced her thoughts by asking the adorable critter, "So, Sir Contractor, What is your reason for staying here with us?"

Unfortunately, that was all Rose was able to ask. Without warning, a primordial came charging across the roof towards Rose. Rose put her hand on the rainwater on the roof. The water leaped at her command becoming a wall of spears to stop the primordial's charge. One of the spear's penetrated the primordial girl's shoulder before it leaped back. "Shame," Rose said without emotion, "I was hoping you would just impale yourself and save me the trouble... Very well." Rose climbed to her feet. The wall of spears dissolved back into liquid water and Rose began to pull all the water around towards herself. She took up a defensive stance between the Primordial and Elise. The Water pooled around Rose. It was about as deep as her ankles at the moment. Rose had plenty of fire power (water power) and she could easily protect Elise. But any offense would have to be decisive. If Rose attacked the Primordial might get around her and kill Elise. Rose's head was spinning trying to figure out the best way out of the current situation. How could a Primordial get so close to a gathering of Magical girls and not be noticed. Maybe it was noticed but it was detected at the same moment as the other one.

Rose raised her hand and with it water came. She extended her hand with force and several water projectiles flew at the Primordial. The Primordial made a laughing sound and deflected the shots with its over-sized scissors. The Primordial charged again but Rose pushed it back with a wave of water.

It didn't took long for Emiri and Miyako, guided by Emiri's rabbit familiar, to find the Primordial.

However, by the time they found it, the creature had already locked a part of the city inside a barrier and was gleefully hacking away at the humans it encased. It was almost like the Primordial was doing that just to provoke the magical girls, which wasn't too far from the truth, actually.

Just before they entered the creature's barrier, Emiri stopped Miyako and said, "Before e enter, I have something to say to you. Normally, I'm the group's support, my magic is really useful only when helping others. If I fought for myself alone, I would probably just die. So, please, could you lend me your strength, Miyako-chan? I'll cover you to the best of my abilities, so you can defeat the Primordial.

I really want to see what the best magical girl in the world can do."

Miyako followed close on Emiri's heels, trusting in the other girl to get them where they needed to go, since she was unfamiliar with the city herself. At the same time, she got a good look at her magic, identifying and copying it. Autonomous constructs, fueled and powered by magic. Interesting, to say the least, and it might prove useful in the fight ahead if she so chose to use it herself. They didn't seem to have much combat capability though, so she wasn't sure how she would use it.

Arriving, she could see the Primordial going to town, hacking and slashing away at the humans it had trapped, and making her more annoyed with it. She would not allow this to stand, and she was sure that Emiri felt the same. This Primordial would not be escaping, not if they had anything to say about it.

Stopped before she could go in with her weapon presented, Miyako looked over to listen to her companion explain that she was more of a support type than a frontline fighter. It wasn't much of a surprise, and the stroking of her ego never hurt. "No problem," she replied with a grin and a nod. "You can count on me."

With that said she moved through the barrier, if Emiri didn't have anything else to say, making a beeline for the Primordial inside. "Hey ugly," she called as she came to a stop above. "Your reign of terror stops here!" Confident bravado, with justice and vvalor swelling in her chest. She was going to show this thing who it was messing with.

“Do I need a reason to stay other than the act of observation?” the Contractor replied to Rose with a question of its own. “You humans think that just because an event derails from its previous action that it is any more unique compared to any other moment. I just don’t understand!”

That would be all the Contractor had to say on the matter as they found themselves confronted suddenly by a Primordial. Did the Contractor somehow know this was going to happen? It was impossible to tell behind the creature’s normal grinning expression. It watched in silence as the battle soon began.

The Primordial that looked so much like a twisted machination of its enemies snarled before raising its pair of scissors. With a mighty heave, it brought the blade down to separate the wave pushing it back, water dripping down its form. It was obvious that this one lacked intelligence in exchange for strength. It began another charge, this time raising up its scissors to take the brunt of whatever force Rose would throw at it.

Farther away in the city, the first Primordial was a little bit more intuitive than its kin currently combating Rose. With a giggle, the dark creature ripped its scythe out of a now fresh corpse before launching itself at Miyako. Twirling the execution weapon, the Primordial hacked and slashed without stopping and without mercy.

All the while, it laughed happily at Miyako’s efforts before soon disengaging and leaping back. With a twirl, it hefted up its scythe and threw it in a death arc towards Emiri with the intention to kill their support first.

A much deadlier opponent than the one Rose was fighting.

"Don't ever underestimate a support, Emiri whispered as the Primordial flew towards her. When she finished that phrase a barrier overriding the Primordial's own sprang fourth from Emiri's book. Soon enough, Miyako and the Primordial were dragged into Emiri's barrier, her Wonderland, but the normal humans were thrown off back to the city streets.

The Primordial was thrown off balance temporarily by the sudden space warp and landed a good three meters away from Emiri, amidst a patch covered by wild mushrooms.

It giggled, a mere distraction like this wouldn't be enough to end the beings blood thirst. However, when it gave a step forward to try and line at the older magical girl again...

BOOM! It was sent through the air just as it step on a mushroom that burst in a cloud of poisonous gas.

This time the Primordial was threw even farther away and stood disorient by the harsh effect of the poison, wobbling to and fro, for a couple of seconds.

"Miyako-chan, don't worry, the traps only hurt those that I want them to. Also...' Emiri drew a crystal vial containing some blue liquid and threw it to Miyako. On the vial's side the words "Drink Me!"were written in cryptic glyphs.

When Miyako drank the potion, she felt her body being relieved of the fatigue, as well as a sharp increase in both her speed and power.

Emiri smiled proudly as she displayed some of her best spells, but inwardly she was grunting as her soul gem (her right earring when transformed) was being corrupt very fast by the use of such high level magics.

But it was all to the benefit of her beautiful kohai, so it was ok, right? Emiri thought as she hoped that Miyako would defeat the Primordial very fast.

The Primordial came at Rose again. It was at this moment Rose realized that she was fighting a dim witted opponent. Any straight attack would fail in any infinite number of ways. Rose raised her hand and took control of the water that was covering Primordial. The Primordial's charge came to a slow stop as Rose restricted the movement using what water there. The Primordial growled angerly and continued to try to move. Rose drew her Urumi sword. Its four whip like steel blades flopped lazily on the ground. Like a whip, Rose lashed out at the Primordial. The blades cut deep into the flesh. Using the pain to increase its strength, the Primordial broke out. In Primal rage, it charged opening wide its scissors trying chop off Rose's beautiful head at the neck. In a fluid motion like the water she used, Rose ducked and spun. The Urumi's blades wrapped around the Primordial's body like a whip tearing into the flesh of the back. Finishing her spin, Rose conjured as much water she could with her left hand. The water took the appearance of a serpent as it twirled and crashed down onto the Primordial.

The Primordial was knocked flat by the water. Rose took the opportunity to use the remaining water to cuff the Primordial to the ground. It barked in anger and tried desperately to get up. Rose stood above the subdued Primordial and glared down angerly at the beast. She was clearly above this one. She whipped her Urumi at the Primordial several times. Each strike took off flesh until the beating heart was exposed. In pain and rage, the Primordial managed to tear its arm up to strike. The ground the water tied the Primordial hand to came with it. The Primordial's scissors struck Rose's left shoulder. Inflicting the same kind of wound, Rose first inflicted on the Primordial with the wall of spears. Rose's blood flowed down the scissor's closed blade. Rose smiled darkly, "I underestimated you. Should have struck closer to center. I did not think your weapon was a piercing weapon. Your mistake." With a flick of Rose's left hand, a blade of water sliced through the Primordial's arm severing it just distal the elbow. Rose tossed her beloved Urumi aside and grabbed the oversized scissor. Removing the Primordial's severed hand, Rose plunged the scissors into the Primodial's exposed heart. She stabbed it multiple times, "This is why you do not run with scissors!"" Rose opened the scissors and closed them again around the Primordial's neck. Beheading the beast's head. The Primordial and the scissors dissolved into dust like when Primordial's normal do when defeated. Only the black stone that Primordial's form around remained. Rose claimed it as her Prize before wandering back to check on Elise. Rose's shoulder wound was still bleeding but her regeneration ability was starting to kick in. "Sorry, Contractor, That was a bit excessive of me. It has been a long day. Even for me. Almost lost my temper." Rose said as she returned.

Elise was now starting to recover, and watched the fight that unfolded with hazy eyes, not quite making out who was making what attack. Her head was still spinning, but by the fight was about to end she lifted up to a sitting position, and saw how Rose finished off the Primordial. The way she handled her magic was really impressive to her, not to mention her use of a strange weapon that resembled a metal snake. She smiled at the parts where Rose stabbed the monster repeatedly in cold blood, and then decapitated it; it made something move inside her, a thrill that was previously subdued by her defeat at Akame's hands, but was now rising again. Not that it mattered, since Elise had trouble even standing up; Rose saw how the spunky girl went up on one knee after the fight was over, and then used her sword as a crutch as she was standing on one leg. Her eyes were focused on the blood that trickled from Rose's shoulder, but not in a worried way as one might expect, but with a certain kind of fascination that was not quite desire, but close.

"Wow Rea, that was (cough) great. Shame I couldn't join you on that one. I woulda shown that Primy who's (cough) boss."

Miyako grunted as the Primordial came at her with a will, her swordstaff twirling to counter the scythe in quick motion. The magical girl was quick on her feet, not expecting the sheer ferocity but swiftly responding to it as she sped up to match, staff twirling and slashing in turn. She was not going to let this thing beat her, that much was for sure.

"Come on, that all you got," she taunted as the Primordial leapt back, "I'm just getting warmed up." She could go for a while at this point, having had the time to recover from her last activity before meeting the girl she was now with.

Her attitude and words were cut off as the Primordial tossed her weapon as Emiri, earning a desperate lunge from Miyako to intercept the weapon before it could reach her partner. Sadly she wasn't in time, watching with wide eyes as it headed towards it's target. Fortunately she needn't have worried, as it bounced off some sort of barrier.

That earned confusion from the magical girl, even moreso as it expanded to engulf both her and the Primordial, ending them up in some sort of weird fairytale place that made no sense. She stumbled a bit as she looked around with wide eyes, trying to figure out exactly what had happened, and why the Primordial was being assailed by exploding mushrooms of all things.

"Thanks," she replied as she grabbed the vial and drank it. The effect was nice, albeit relatively unneeded at this point since she wasn't all that fatigued or worn out. And she couldn't really feel the status boosts without acting at this point. But she supposed that it couldn't hurt.

She paused before she jumped back into the fray. "Wait, I thought your power was those bunny things. Is it more than that?" If it was just some general ability, beyond creating little helpers, then it would be a lot more useful in this fight.

The Contractor watched the entire display with a neutral expression, unmoved by Rose’s sudden brutality. No, sudden wasn’t the right term. Rose was like water. And water could be raging at times, like a hungry wave to consume all or the most horrid of storms.

“I do not understand the source of your anger. Though I suppose you were simply getting irritated that the Primordial proved more durable than you originally deduced,” the Contractor said with a flick of its tail before turning to look at the downed Elise.

“I also don’t understand your desire for combat and bloodshed Elise Augermann. You humans are too confusing to pick apart. However….”

The white creature turned its unblinking gaze over to the black stone that the Primordial had left behind. No one knew what they were as they lacked a proper name. Furthermore, they seemed pretty useless anyway and served no real purpose. The Contractor had told all Magical Girls that these black stones were physical manifestations of the defeated Primordial’s negative energy and thus, needed to be disposed of.

So they fed the stones to it like a pet. But in truth, not even it knew what function they held. That didn’t stop it from discovering a use for it though.

Over at the other side of the city, the humans that had been knocked away from the Primordial’s field were now acting as if they had woken up from a night terror. Emiri’s barrier remained invisible and impassable to human standards. They were deaf to the inhuman screaming on the other side.

The scythe wielding Primordial began to leak out thick, gray fluid that served as the creature’s life force. Those exploding mushrooms had caught it off guard though it did not completely deter it form hacking away. It did note the losing sheen to Emiri’s Soul Gem however and switched motions to focus on the golden Magical Girl once more in the hope of taking her out first.

If a Magical Girl’s Soul Gem became completely corrupted with darkness, they would collapse on the spot with inescapable death. No one knows how to recover its luster once more though it seemed to gain color again on its own over time eventually, provided it wasn't overwhelmed with usage.

Perhaps another topic the Contractor was ignorant of.

Howling out with mad laughter, the unholy creature leapt into the air and twisted its bleeding body. With a lunge, it brought down the blade of its scythe towards Emiri with the hope of skewering her whole.

Miyako would be next.

"Indeed it was fairly graceful. I wash my hands of that Primordial," Rose says as she tosses the black stone to the contractor. The contractor disposes of it like he normally does. Rose continues, "Unlike our mutual benefactor here, I understand your love of combat and bloodlust. I feel it too. The difference is that I control it. I can teach you to control it or rather channel it into something useful. I honestly avoid combat because the fact I enjoy the thrill of near death scary. I do not want to die and if I lost control of my excitement in battle, I could die. In fact, that primal was almost able to kill me because I got carried away." Rose wipes away the blood from her shoulder. It is completely healed by now. Rose pulls her blue soul gem out. It was attached to a silver necklace. She says, "If that Primordial had struck a little more center, you would have seen me die." Rose puts her soul gem back away.

Rose held her hand out to her side and water carried her discarded Urumi back to her. She coiled the blade around her waist like a belt. Its handle stuck by her side like a normal sword would. She then extended a hand out to Elise to help her stand and in a sign of peace. She says, "Elise, I would be honored to be your partner. Regardless of how temporarily a alliance might be. I might look younger than the others by I am the oldest. Akame, still beats me in time as a magical girl though. If you do work with me, there is something you should know. My name is not Rea. I am known as Rea. Slight difference, most do not catch it. My name is Rose Elizabeth Andrews. So I shortened it to Rea. You can still call me Rea, in fact, I prefer it. Not a lot of people know my true name. I only trust a few people in this world. I can count them on one hand." With the hand not extended, Rose holds up two fingers to signify how many people she trusts. "I hope I can add you to the count. WHat do you say? You did lose your match. Allow me to bring you up to our level?"

“I also don’t understand your desire for combat and bloodshed Elise Augermann. You humans are too confusing to pick apart.”

"Hmph. Whatever," Elise responded in an offended manner as she turned her head away from the furball. "It's just what I am. Nothing to understand (cough) there." Elise had no need to explain herself for what she is and how she goes about doing things. She was the only one who could understand the beast in her, after all. She was alone in her battle.

"Unlike our mutual benefactor here, I understand your love of combat and bloodlust. I feel it too. The difference is that I control it. I can teach you to control it or rather channel it into something useful. I honestly avoid combat because the fact I enjoy the thrill of near death scary. She says, "If that Primordial had struck a little more center, you would have seen me die." Rose puts her soul gem back away.

Elise was a bit taken back by what she said. She didn't expect to hear anyone else, let alone someone as calm as her, to also have the same kind of excitement as her when she goes full throttle. She thought she was the only one who knew the rush. With that revelation, Rose scored respect from Elise, and she nodded to what she said. Unlike Akame, who bored her with stupid talk, Rose had her full attention. She then brought her soul gem to view, and Elise touched her own in response. "Yeah. Once these break, we're goners. But it's (cough) better than us dying to a mere blast of fire punched through us, right?" Elise made a cheeky grin. "I didn't take you for the kind to know bloodlust."

Akame, still beats me in time as a magical girl though."

Elise took her hand with a strong grip, and took leverage from her. "I think you mentioned being old back in the party. That's weird, what with you looking younger than even (cough) I do." Weird as it was, in a world of magic anything was possible, and Elise was fully aware of it.

"If you do work with me, there is something you should know.

Rose's real name was not that big of a reveal to Elise as the apparently older girl may have imagined. It was the same person behind the two names, after all. A name meant nothing in a world where the strength of arms was victor. Rose was serious about wanting to train her, however. Elise would not have accepted normally due to being too proud to accept help from anyone else, thinking it was the coward's path. But the possibility that she could really understand her coupled with her own desire of growing stronger and more focused led to her decision. She also honored her wish about her real name being secret by inventing a nickname for her; a habit she did to anyone she respected. Whether she would like that or not was not something she particularly cared for.
Her grip on Rose's hand grew in power, to the point of attempting to crush her fingers. She gave a big smile, and her eyes tightened.

"I'll do it. But I'm going to be a difficult client, with my...temperament and all. Are you sure you're up to it...Razor?"

"You shouldn't underestimate me, Miyako...chan?" Emiri's boast was cut short when a sinister looking blade cleaved her from behind. But, how was it possible? Emiri has always kept the Primordial within her eye sight, she knew that a moment's distraction could be fatal on the battlefield even when the situation seemed to be completely under your control. So...

How has this happened?

"Ku ku ku..." The axe-wielding Primordial giggled happily as it hacked away at the back of the annoying golden magical girl, even though she looks like the older and more powerful of the two magical girls, she failed to notice when the Axe Primordial switched places with Scythe, her sister, just as the two girls entered the Primordial's barrier a while ago.

The Axe raised her weapon high above her head, like an executioner ready to behead a helpless victim and when the blade fell...

"Peter!" Emiri shouted in desperation and at that instant the White Rabbit jumped out of her book and carried her to a hole that appeared on the ground right besides them.

When the Axe Primordial hit nothing but dust it howled in rage and started looking around along with Scythe, the golden magical girl had to be somewhere inside the barrier, but where?

Not that it mattered anyway, as both primordial sisters turned to the remaining magical girl and began giggling madly, picturing what sort of disgusting artwork they would carve her flesh into.

Emiri appeared from the Rabbit Hole right behind Miyako, the situation was grim for the two girls. Emiri was badly hurt and her magical power was all but exhausted and no matter the fact that she believed that Miyako's claims about being the strongest magical girl where justified in some way, the younger girl couldn't possibly defeat the two cunning Primordials all by herself.

There was only one thing left to do, if they wanted to both survive and defeat the Primordials. Touching her soulgem with a blood stained hand Emiri tried to contact one of her partners, Rose was probably still at the school taking care of Elise, so the only one available for helping them would be, "Akame! Akame, please we need your help the Primordial, it wasn't just one..."

Emiri's message was cut short when the sister Primordial lunged at Miyako, and the staff-wielding magical girl began to try to parry and counter their vicious combined assault, to no good. Their only hope was for Akame to arrive on time, she always did before, so Emiri had faith in her companion this time too.

"But it'll do us no good if we're dead by the time Akame arrives," Emiri said in a weak voice, then she took a deck of cards from her pocket and threw threw at the air, the cards swirled and danced through it until in front of Miyako there were a group of 9 Card Soldiers, The King, Queen, Jack and Ace, all of them belonging to the hearts suit. The cards had about half a meter height in this state, the soldiers wielded heart pointed spears, the king and queen royal scepters, the jack a sword and finally the ace, an executioner's axe.

That was pretty much the last magic Emiri could do if she didn't wanted to die, but it was also one or biggest guns, she shouted, "Suit of Hearts, protect Miyako-chan at all costs until Akame arrives! I can't let my cute kohai die in a battle because I was too careless, can I?"

"You've heard her, my dear?" The King asked the Queen, to which she responded, "Of course I did, you fool. Off with their heads, I say! Off with their heads!" At the Queen shrew shout the cards advanced trying to help Miyako fight the Primordials.

Miyako rolled her eyes at her companion and the answer she got. Really, she was going to be standoffish like that in a situation like this? Sure, she didn't know what Miyako's special power was, but that was no reason to be so secretive about it. Weren't they on the same team or something? Somehow, this was not making Miyako more confident in joining up with this group.

Head rising, she dashed forward to intercept the scythe blow with her swordstaff before it could land. Yeah, okay, she would cede that the potion had at least done something besides her fatigue. Was her power general magic then? That could be useful. For now, a few quick swipes before the scythe wielder jumped away, herself grinning confidently even more as things equalized, somewhat.

That faded with the cry from behind, and she spun about to see another primordial with an axe attacking her defenseless partner. "Emiri," she cried as she sun on her feet, charging to try and intercept the axe wielder, but she could tell that she wouldn't be in time. Desperation fueled her being, not wanting to be the one to get her killed their very first time. That wouldn't exactly look good on her reputation, and it would be terrible otherwise.

Before she could though, Emiri... vanished? Now Miyako was really getting frustrated. Healing, familiars, teleportation, what the hell was her power from her wish? If she didn't know, then she couldn't copy it.

She glanced over as Emiri appeared right next to her, battered but still alive. "Geez, don't scare me like that," she said with a grin before spinning forward to meet the attacking Primordial. Her swordstaff spun and sparked, clashing with the enemy's weapon as the two of them went back and forth, her keeping a careful eye out at the same time for the other to possibly get involved. She wouldn't let herself get ambushed from the other side.

She leapt back, planning out her next move, when suddenly cards appeared in front of her, alive and attacking. Okay, at this point Miyako had just given up trying to figure it out. There was no point. Instead she glanced back at Emiri with a frown. "I am not your student," she returned, which was true from her viewpoint since she'd only agreed to be shown the town, not to be trained or anything else like that. As she had said, she knew what she was doing.

She showed that then as she moved back in once more to fight the scythe wielder. Her swordstaff caught a slash, as per usual, before she pulled a trick of her own. The weapon separated into mace and sword, the blade still holding the scythe, and she slammed the mace into the gut of the Primordial she was facing. With that blow, she broke the block, tossing the scythe out of her path before performing a wicked slash that, if it succeeded fully, would separate the Primordial from her head. All as planned.

"I'm not... trying to patronize you *cough* I sincerely believe that you're capable, but... couldn't at least let me treat you like a friend *cough*?" Emiri said as her status was deteriorating rapidly, the only hope that she had was for Akame to arrive soon, so that she could pull out her magic and rest until she could get Rose to heal her.

It had been a long time since Emiri had pulled out so many of her high level tricks at once, the last time that she remembers doing it was when she tried to save a mother and her child from a Primordial way back in the past, and hadn't her own senpai intervene, Emiri would have died along with the innocent bystanders. Sadly her senpai didn't had the same luck and that was the day when Emiri lost the person who she cared more than everything in this world.

"What am I remembering at a time like this? I must be the worst senpai ever *cough* sorry, Ayane..." Emiri said addressing her long dead senpai, before turning to Miyako and saying, "Miyako-chan, if we get out of this alive I'll tell you all you want to know about my powers *cough* but... if I end up dying *cough* just ask Akame or Rose... everyone of us knows almost all about each others' powers..."

Then, just as the blood loss was starting to get better of Emiri's consciousness, she smiled her best smile towards Miyako and said, half-consciously, "Don't you think this place is beautiful? Mine and Ayane-senpai's Wonderland? Please, stay alive, Miyako-chan..."

After that, Emiri fell unconscious. A magical girl can't die of bleeding, but it didn't made the experience of massive blood loss any less unpleasant for them. However there was still hope for the golden magical girl, because, since her magic is almost autonomous of her control, only needing her magical energy to take shape, as long as Emiri's constructs still existed it was a sign that she was still alive.

The cards were all but a meddlesome distraction to the Primordials, Scythe focused on keeping the remaining magical girl at bay, weaving to and fro on a high speed pattern, hacking up and then low, left and then right, rinse and repeat as many times as needed until her sister could deal the critical blow at the green girl.

Axe on her turn was dealing with the obnoxious cards, she had already taken care of more than half of the soldiers and was about to show that irritating queen who beheads who when another soldier skewered her through the ankle, she jumped backwards howling in pain and then lunged again, spinning her axe like a meat grinder's blade, hacking the poor card that died in an small explosion of red ink.

It was close to a miricle, the calvary, that being, Akame, Chiyo and Nanako arrived to aid Emiri and Miyako in the nick of time. The two primordial that joined forces to brutally kill the magical girls were growing strong and also became incredibly more fierce. On the way over, Nanako was holding on to Chiyo ever so tightly as they jumped through the city to the other girls at a increasing speed.

"Miyako! Emiri-Chan! We're here to help!"
Nanako had been piggybacking on Chiyo, she hopped off quickly so she wasn't in Chiyos' way while she rushed over to help Miyako.

The sight was devastating, like a war had been undergoing a siege for years, it seemed like an army of cards were attempting to fight off the primordials, but to no avail, they were being sliced to pieces and fading in to a glimmer of gold dust before fading away fully. 'Could Emiri-chan summoned them with her power to fight?', thought Nanako. She looked around, quickly after Chiyo and and Akame rushed over to help Miyako who appeared to be struggling.
In the frenzy, she saw a collapsed Emiri, lying lifeless on the floor, bleeding intensely, creating a pool of bloody despair beside her. Nanako knew that was an indication of something bad, that she could die soon, that's what happens to people that were bleeding a lot... Nanako transformed as quickly as she could. Holding her soul gem out, it shined bright and enveloped her, to others, it would appear that a shining orb of rose pink light had swallowed a small girl whole. But on the inside of that light, a new magical girl was taking form, Nanako's hair elongated, her bust began to grow and a wide smile grew on her face. The orb dissipated and Nanako landed on her two feet completely transformed into her magical girl form. Welled full of courage, she ran towards Emiri-chan, crouching close to her, she acted without really thinking about her actions, as if she acted souly on instinct.
"Emi--- Onee-chan... I'm here to help you! I can heal you so you feel so much better! Haha!~" Quickly sliding her large backpack off, Nanako reached with one arm in and felt around, finally, she grabbed some kind of milk bottle, quickly ripping it out of the bag, she popped of the lid and attempted to have Emiri drink the liquid.

Nanako began to watch the healing drink take its effect on her.

Cutting it close was an understatement as Akame assessed the situation. In hindsight, it was a good thing that Emiri was unconscious at the moment. Otherwise, it would have been difficult to slip through one of her barriers. Maybe not for Chiyo, considering she had done it before.

Landing beside Miyako, Akame quickly transformed into her full Magical Girl outfit. A sphere of flame surrounded her, shielding the outside world from her transformation. When she emerged from the miniature inferno, Akame was covered in a longcoat and pants the color of ash. Simple but effective. With a flick of her wrist, she summoned forth her blade and launched a wave of flame towards the axe wielding Primordial to push her back.

Scythe was being taken care of by Miyako, giving one last guttural snarl before its head was sliced off. At once the twisted girl’s body fell apart into black sand, leaving behind the ebony stone that served to bind them together.

Axe frowned, taking the brunt of Akame’s blow full on. Suddenly the odds weren’t in its favor as three more Magical Girls arrived on the scene. A bit excessive on Akame’s part, but she didn’t take any chances when it came to their enemy. Before the creature could stumble back and retreat, Akame dashed forward faster than ever and cleaved both pairs of arms clean off.

An inhuman screech filled the air, black fluid flowing out heavily. Akame spun around, ready to cut the monster in two when Axe suddenly dashed away. Leaping above the flaming Magical Girl, it sped towards Nanako with hungry jaws dripping with black liquid.

This one smelled sweet…yes, it would consume her first. Akame tensed up. At this range she couldn’t do anything and would have to rely on the others to intercept before it was too late. And it was too late, the Primordial just a moment before tearing Nanako’s face off completely.

Bang.

The thing burst into black sand, body scattered and soon dissolving into ash as well. The stone remained unharmed as the last of the Primordials were vanquished for now. Chiyo stood on the sidelines with a still smoking flintlock revolver in her hands. She was not transformed however, still in her regular garbs.

“That was close Nanako-chan. Please be more careful next time.”
