"Bye mom, got a world to go save!" Tori said as she raced by the kitchen where her mother currently was reading the newspaper. Artemis looked up and stared at the lopsided grin that her daughter just flashed her before racing out of the house. 'She is so the daughter of Wally...' Artemis thought.
Star, a.k.a. Shooting Star a.k.a. Tori, sped through the different streets on her way to meet the current Flash, Bart Allen, to help her mentor with an armed bank robbery happening. "Well, well, well if it isn't Ms. Speedy herself." Flash said with a grin. "Hello to you to Uncle B-Flash" Star said catching herself before saying his actual name. "Well let's get to it." Flash said as he and Star sped into the bank. Flash was currently running around the robbers distracting them as Star sped hostages out. She had gotten all of them out except a mother and her baby when the robbers finally noticed her. "Flash you get the woman and I'll get the baby." Star stated before picking up the baby and speeding away holding the baby close to her. Gun shots could be heard hitting the floor where she had just run by one second ago. Star ran towards the door and was almost there when a robber decided to swing a metal pole towards her. Star slid under the pole with it barely missing her as she ran forward. She brought the baby to the mother and sped back inside with Flash. Together they beat up the robbers only receiving a few bruises each from the robbers but neither was worried since they both had high metabolisms.
Flash and Star posed for the cameras and answered a few questions for the news crew like the very outgoing people they were. Then Flash turned to Star and began to talk in high speeds to a point where only she could truly understand him. "You should head home and shower and of course eat before meeting up with the team later today. Don't be late!" Flash said a super speed. Star smirked and nodded. "Wouldn't miss it for the world!" She exclaimed at equal speed to the Flash. With that Star sped home and took a shower before eating lunch with her mother.

Tori changed out of her lounging clothes and into a pair of skinny jeans, a tight yellow under tee shirt, and a lose red shirt that hug over her shoulders and read 'Voltage' on the front with a lightning bolt underneath it. After Tori slipped on a pair of black combat boots she went to work at trying to fix her crazy red hair. After what seemed like forever she called to her mom to help her. Artemis came in and helped tame her daughters wild red locks back to their normal beach waves and smiled handing Tori a box. "What is this?" Tori asked eyeing her mother carefully. "Open it and you'll see" Artemis said with a smile. Tori opened a box and saw a black choker necklace with a silver locket built on it. She opened the locket and was greeted with her father's grinning face. Tori's eyes became teary and they slipped down her cheek as she read the quote that the team thought was some of Wally's best words that ever came out of his talkative, annoying mouth, "It doesn't matter how many fall. For new heroes, will always rise to carry on." Tori tackled her mother in a hug and put the necklace on. "Thanks mom. I just wish I could have met him..." She says with a sigh. "I wish you could have too. Now hurry or you will be late.
With that Tori sprinted to a Zeta Beam and was transported to the cave. "Recognized Shooting Star. C01." The computer said. Tori looked around and was thankful she was one of the first here and not one of the last. Tori walked over to couch and plopped down staring up at the ceiling and waiting for more people to arrive, her emerald green eyes darkened as she fell deeper into thought, her fingers playing with her new choker the whole time.
