Well you know, I wouldn't have to take over as GM if you'd bothered getting us there and letting us dungeon crawl.

You don't have to "take over as GM" period. The characters don't even know each other's names yet. If you were patient and allowed other players to post(after all, people might have extenuating circumstances or other issues preventing their posts), this entire issue would have been completely avoided.

I don't do this lightly and I will again politely ask you to leave. I don't want this to become more of an issue than it already is. I don't like kicking people at all but this has honestly gotten to the point where I don't see much of another choice.

But if I don't GM, who will? You?

I was giving the game a short time skip so we'd all know each others' names and could start doing the point of the game. Why would you so harshly reject my help like this?

That "time skip" certainly didn't give me that feeling. It was rather premature, imo.

The long and short of it, Vita, is I like me some games, and you do not post games hard enough. Two days of radio silence is a bad sign, and means you need something to catch your player's attention. I did the timeskip thing because I feel like if I didn't, the game will probably just die as players silently drop out of boredom or disinterest because you're still in the tavern.

There's also a lot of other weird design decisions I don't get or don't agree with.

Adios, muchachos.

I normally don't involve myself in OOC arguments at all, but I do think that Bee has a point. He did get things moving along when no one had posted in almost a day, and gave me something to do. I don't intend to call your GMing skills or drive into question, Vita, because I don't know you at all, but you said yourself that you were getting headaches and stuff recently. I actually think that it was kind of nice that Bee wanted to help take some of that off your shoulders.

Just my two pennies.

To be fair, Bee did have a point about the radio silence. Sure, you were having problems of your own, Vita, but it's true that two days of nonactivity isn't good for any rp.

Of course, this doesn't excuse Bee's way of just trying to take over without even consulting you.

@Shisa: I've been trying to accommodate for players who have not had a chance to post again as well as exposition for the dungeon we'd be going to. The person who was most logical to use to give exposition was unable to post for two days. My problems with hijacking the dungeon stem from the fact that it's going against what I have planned as well as rushing along without a few players, and previous very nasty experiences with similar circumstances. I've also had to deal with a lot of arguments prior to this and I honestly believed this would be a negative experience for both sides of the argument if it kept going.

@Scarifar: I'll try to make sure that kind of thing doesn't happen again.

And hopefully I'm not going to not be home one day when I'm needed to exposit. Or at least have advance warning.

Now I'd like to move on.

At the moment, um... We can get moving on as soon as everyone's introduced themselves. I think the best course of action is to roll things back a little. @SilverDawn needs to have their character introduce herself, and @Shisa should probably make it a little clearer she's joining up.

As soon as we do that we can start moving, but if it really comes down to it characters can introduce themselves on the way or on arrival and I can just get things going.

I'd just like for people to all get introduced first.

Well, due to something coming up, I won't be here for the next week. I'll have to skip out for the first (and maybe second, if you go quickly) dungeons.

I'm sorry.

Well, that just makes it worse. So it's an order that presumably goes against every law the most relevant religions or the whole kingdom have, that resurrected a child necromancer who's still named for a Shakespeare character.

Well I didn't know that yorik was a name from such

Name:yorik darkhart.

Age:12.

Gender:male

Race:Humam.

Class:Nightblade.

Appearance:Yorik is rather tall, he wears an indigo cloak which often trails in the wind, Yorik's eyes are a deep shade of violet.

Personality:Yorik has respect for most people of velt, so long as they aren't evil.
He is the person who can be described as a"hey man I have a sword that can cut through steel, I don't have to worry about a snake bite"kind of person.

Backstory:At age 11, Yorik became what is known as a nightblade, the nightblades were a group of fighters who used the darkness to their advantage in a fight, they also wielded shadowy sabers that "hungered"for evil blood.

During Yorik's training, he learned many things about swordsmanship and stealth, eventually he became an official nightblade. One year later he has traveled to velt in hopes to slay the evil there.

Equipment:Nightblade saber-a pitch black sword that would "eat"the blood of evil beings.

Abilities:
Dark embrace:Yorik can step into the shadows and almost entirely vanish from sight.

Dance of seven dark swords:Yorik's eyes glow with a bright indigo hue, Yorik's sword becomes faster than wind and attacks the target 7 times.(only once per dungeon)

@SilverDawn: That'll be a little awkward since the first dungeon is so full of traps, but I'm glad you mentioned. I'm sure we can work out something to get around the traps.

I'll be making a GM post today , hopefully people will post before that. I'll be posting as if no-one has left yet and I'll be moving things ahead. People CAN still join up though, it only becomes awkward after we pass the first floor of the dungeon.

@Blizz: Okay, one of my big issues is that he's twelve. ^^; Without touching anything else, that's way too young for a skilled warrior.

@Blizz it's also irritating me quite a bit to see everything you're posting just one huge run-on sentence with zero effort in just about every form of grammar. This is Casual, after all. We gotta have some standards for this.

If that's how you feel, alright.

Also, I'll say again that if people miss the party leaving the tavern they can still get themselves introduced on the way or on arrival. I'll probably be posting shortly.

Anyone who has not posted yet can insert themselves some point before we leave the first floor of the dungeon.

Also, please tell me if you can't think of any good response to my post right now, because I'll just edit in arriving at the dungeon if that's the case.
