- Name - Varies - Alias - Spiderling - Age - 79 - Appearance -
- Social Class - Lower - Powers - Increased Attributes: Hosts of the Spiderling 'Symbiote' gain enhanced speed, endurance, strength, agility and access to the knowledge of the Symbiote's collective hive mind (through which all Spiderlings can communicate with one another) although, even though they are better than the average version of their species they are (almost always) not superhuman (example: An average, human, Spiderling could lift about one ton) Construct generation: The Spiderling Symbiote can use excess micro-bots to form constructs such as claws, blades or blunt weapons (though blunt weapons usually don't work as well due to the fragile mess of the Symbiote) but it cannot form into more complicated machinery such as a gun or helicopter blade. Wall Crawling: Spiderlings can climb on almost any inclined surface. Flames: The oil has to go somewhere right? Spiderlings can spray fire or ignite parts of itself by excreting any contained oil and igniting it via a ton of tiny shocks from the micro-bots. This, of course, is risky since flames and heat are one of the Symbiote's weaknesses. Mass Generation: If a Spiderling collects a lot of metals it can use them to increase its size to (at the most) one and a half it's size giving it increased agility and strength at the cost of durability and speed.
- Weaknesses - High Frequency sounds: Sounds of extremely high frequency can result in many of the Micro-bots losing their cohesive shape as they communicate in short range with high frequency sound. Heat: If exposed to extreme heat or enough heat over time many of the small micro-bots will begin to melt together greatly diminishing the capabilities of the Spiderling until they are stuck in place like a living statue. This can be reversed as long as one micro-bots survives as it can consume its melted brethren to create new micro-bots but this can take a lot of time depending on how many micro-bots are left. Oil: Though the micro-bots have come a long way from being simply oil scavengers, it's still their primary goal and if oil is detected it will send the Spiderling into a frenzy in order to collect the oil. - Personality - All Spiderlings possess a savageness to them though most still are capable of holding up some what intelligent speech depending on whom is currently possessed. Overall the personality can vary making Spiderlings very unpredictable. - Motivation - Heroism, because its the ultimate challenge. - BRIEF Bio - The Spiderling(s) 'Symbiote' started off as an attempt to create a safe way to clean up oil spills. The classic micro-robots that eat up and store oil so it doesn't get into the ecosystem and in that regard the 'Symbiote' was a success but when it was tested in the field near an oil spill in Antarctica the micro-bots went off after store about twelve percent of the oil. Eventually the micro-bots themselves made their way into the ecosystem of the near by Savage lands first through small aquatic creature and working its way up. The creatures that were inhabited by the micro-bots were influenced into carrying out the 'Symbiote's programming via stimuli which resulted in many creatures of the savage land chugging down oil wherever it could be found which was accordingly stored in the Symbiote. Once the micro-bots couldn't find anymore oil they began making their hosts eat metals so they could create more Micro-bots and spread their 'species'. Since traditionally the creatures possessed by the 'Symbiote' couldn't eat ore veins of metal the micro-bots advanced-for-the-time programming began manifesting itself into constructs to allow for its hosts to consume metal better and easier.
Over time the Micro-bots continued to 'evolve' and with them came the creation of the Spiderlings. Spiderlings were creatures who were possessed the micro-bots and as such had no will to attack one another. Due to their peaceful nature towards one another the beasts and creatures worked together in harmony to spread the Spiderling 'Symbiote' and hunt or gather food. Eventually the collective became intelligent enough to send out some aquatic ambassadors to other parts of the planet namely America. Soon the Micro-bots spread enough for a new faction of the Spiderling nest to be formed in what was now called Nueva York which brought a great amount of intelligence to the collective thanks to human hosts. Now with human consciousnesses added to the mix, the collective realized how orderly and constricted Nueva York was with Alchemax running it. The collective decided that this was a true test of its own power and made a new goal for the collective: take down Alchemax.
- Notes - Why Spiderlings are called Spiderlings is a mystery that will (hopefully) be revealed at some point in the roleplay.
Spiderling Individuality While a Spiderling host is still mostly in control there are some major changes to how the host thinks such as rather than referring to the self as their name they would simply refer to themselves as 'Spiderling'. The best way to think of it as one single entity with a multiple personality disorder.
Spiderling Hierarchy While all members of the collective are for the most part considered equal there is always one supreme leader of the collective called "The Superior" as in theory it should be the strongest member of the collective. The Superior is whichever member has the most original micro-bots within them (since the original one were made of Adamantium) and as such is usually never seen outside of the first nest in the savage lands. Many Spiderlings mention what is only called "Theem" which are some of the most powerful of the collective (aside from the Superior) and stand guard over the Superior just in case something tried to attack their ruler. As of currently both The Superior and Theem are located in the Savage Lands. On average a normal human Spiderling would be made up of one percent original micro-bots.
Abilities: Seem fine to me. Just Generic Spiderman/Venom like abilities.
Weaknesses: Seem nicely balanced to your abilities.
Personality: Not much to say here.
Motivation: This is alright, though there should be why it's a challenge, why he/they want to fulfill this challenge.
Bio: This is where things for me get a bit iffy.
1) Alright bio bots made to clean up oil spills. 2) How did they adapt to learn to use creatures to collect oil? How did said creatures not die. 3) How did they self replicate before collecting minerals? 4) How did the scientists not keep control off it?
This is my most important point and key to the whole thing, if you control all/most of the savage land why Neuva York? Also why do you need people? Why would people act normally? Dinosaurs? I dunno I really don't like the concept of you controlling the savage lands and those on it as then you could effectively just take over Neuva York.
However I know you are contemplating bringing in a Crimson Dynamo, Iron Man, War Machine or other suited hero.
I'd love to see an Ironman! Gonna check the titanpad really quick before I go into work for a few hours. The most of my opening post w/o the rules and synopsis added is in the pad if anybody wants to read it beforehand.

Tanks for the feedback @Sep. I am working on an Ironman character now so I won't be using the Spiderlings. I'll try to make a better backstory for him than the Spiderlings and as for personality I'm defiantly going to try to expand that more.
Name - Alastrina Rogers (nickname: Alice) Alias - Cyrania de Bergerac Age - 17 Appearance -
Except with a musketeer hat with the white plume
Physical: Tall, lithe caucasian body with wavy, shoulder length, dirty blonde hair and gray/blue eyes in an oval face Social Class - Low Powers - Light Manipulation: Can use light to make illusions, force fields, and turn invisible; Mental Powers (Light Manipulation being more of a speific avenue of her Mental Powers): Can sense people's locations and is resistant to mental attacks and take-overs ( Would like to add healing if you allow) Weaknesses - Excessively Loyal: She tends to throw herself in harm's way or offer herself up in the place of others for people she cares for and/or considers under her protection; Limited Energy: If she burns through her energy reserve, she then takes energy from primary functions of her body which can cause her to pass out and/or die. Energy can be regained from food, drink, or light. Personality - Stern and unwavering when something needs to be done, yet is warm and caring when someone she cares for gets hurt. She's loyal to people but loyal to her morals more and always seeks to do what's right. Also shows a bit of a playful side when things have calmed down for a bit and if it could be used to unbalance enemies. Motivation - She wanted to be a hero like the Captain America of the 21st Century BRIEF Bio - One of Alchemax's test-tube heros given mental powers, she was rescued by a curious black-haired man who would only go by "Merlin" claimed he was fascinated by the idea of a mortal with his power and taught her his techniques to see if she really did. As the lessons continued, he realized she didn't really know anything and so ended up teaching her reading, writing, mathematics, sword-fighting, etc. as well. He would also tell her stories of the superheroes of the 20th/20st century, claiming to have actually known them, and Alice came to be especially enamored of Captain America and want to be like him. On her 17th birthday, the man bade her farewell, told her to do what she dreamed of doing, and offered her a sword,(one-handed, standard medieval European) made of vibranium and now DNA locked onto her, to use as a focusing rod for her power and as an offensive tool in her otherwise defensive tool-kit. He also offered that she take on a feminine version of the brave, sacrificial Cyrano de Bergerac as her Alias since it seemed a good name for a sorceress and it fit who she wanted to be well. Then Alice went into the city to figure out if there were other superheroes out there that were not Alchemax controlled and to fight for freedom and justice for all. Notes - I can go for a definite Loki basis if you really want Character-based OCs only, but thought it was worth a try this way.
Powers: These seem fine to me, I personally would be wary to add healing. At most highly resistant too physical damage.
Weaknesses: Loyalty is a mild weakness, the energy one is a bit better. Anything else though? These weaknesses are a bit standard to most people what is a specific weakness too this character?
Personality/Motivation: This kinda ties into your history as well, why does she want to be like Captain America from the Heroic Age (What some 2099ers call modern days)?
History
1) Why was she chosen/accept to be one of Alchemexs test subjects? 2) How was she rescued? 3) At any point did she become suspicious of who he was? 4) How is this sword DNA locked? What stops someone else from being able to wield it? 5) She went back into the city, just like that?
^^^ I would also need to add, the Alchemax Avengers have only been around a few weeks tops. If she's a test tube baby like them her exp would have to decrease drastically. Like Sep mentioned a lot of things don't sync up or make sense. The Avengers are also all pre-programmed with bits of their namesakes' personalities. However they are completely unwavering and do the bidding of their superiors in Alchemax. So the Thing is ever loving to a point till he needs to break a superhuman in half for his bosses. They don't have real feelings exactly, just what's been programmed into them.
I should've been more specific about that. Black Panther will think he's royalty, Cap will think this country is still morally just, Quicksilver will be a cocky asshole, Rogue will be southern, etc...

Except with a musketeer hat with the white plume
Physical: Tall, lithe Caucasian body with wavy, shoulder length, dirty blonde hair and gray/blue eyes in an oval face
Social Class - Low
Powers - Light Manipulation: Can use light to make illusions, force fields, and turn invisible; Mental Powers (Light Manipulation being more of a specific avenue of her Mental Powers): Can sense people's locations, has telekinesis, teleportation, and is resistant to mental attacks and take-overs
Weaknesses - Excessively Loyal: She tends to throw herself in harm's way or offer herself up in the place of others for people she cares for and/or considers under her protection; Limited Energy: If she burns through her energy reserve, she then takes energy from primary functions of her body which can cause her to pass out and/or die. Energy can be regained from food, drink, sleep, or light; Frail Body: Her body easily wounds and can't stand up to much punishment.
Personality - Stern and unwavering when something needs to be done, yet is warm and caring when someone she cares for gets hurt. She's loyal to people but loyal to her morals more and always seeks to do what's right. Causes her to act impulsively though she tries to fight it so she can at least analyze the situation first before she barges in. Also shows a bit of a playful side when things have calmed down for a bit and if it could be used to unbalance enemies.
Motivation - She wants there to be a reason she came to exist, a purpose that helps the world. Also, looks up to Captain America of the Heroic Age and wants to be like him.
BRIEF Bio - Even before Spiderman came to be, Alchemax sought to produce superheroes to protect its own interests. So, they hired the famous geneticist Arnim Zola to see how feasible a completely test-tube hero would be. Zola relished in the challenge and immediately sent his henchmen to gather Captain America and Invisible Woman up. Then he collected the two's genes, set them into stasis for future use, and was about to just splice those genes right there and then when he heard reports that Loki had come to Earth. Thinking of what a wonderful opportunity this presented, Zola invited him over to suggest a proposition and would show him Cap and Invisible Girl as his credentials. Loki was intrigued and confident he could handle anything a mere mortal could dish out, so he accepted the invitation. The God of Mischief really didn't expect the robotic grabbing arms as he came in or the knock-out serum Zola had been able to devise injected right afterwards.
When he came to, Loki found himself being awakened from a stasis tube and having a DNA sample taken. In those brief seconds before he was put back in, he leapt out while leaving a illusion in his place. After the man left, Loki left the room in the guise of one of Zola's underlings, seeking a way out, a reason for what happened, and revenge against the doctor. First of course, he gathered his weapons. Then he finally traced Zola's signal and was shocked by what he saw after he invisibly snuck into the doctor's office. A young six year old girl was crying and saying that robots were one thing, killing people for training purposes was another, she couldn't do it. Arnim yelled that it showed weakness in her that couldn't exist if she was going to actually be of use. Then Dr. Zola sent her back to her training room for a test to decide her fate. Then the heads of Alchemax hologrammed to finally see the results of the project, Zola then let them see the live footage of the now underway test of her against an all-human army. He talked about how this first experiment was a failure, the mixing of Cap, Sue, and Loki had produced a highly talented psychic, but was comparable to a normal man in terms of strength and endurance and to her detriment was very strong-willed, something very undesirable for their purposes. Therefore, this final test was designed to be her end unless she killed, and from there be more malleable to follow future orders.
Loki wasn't sure what it was; some good still remaining in him, the biological connection between him and her, or just the opportunity to foil Arnim's plans; but Zola's message made him snap. The adopted odinson actually found himself teleporting straight into battle and knocking the girl down from an upcoming attack. She then put up a forcefield to protect against the next attack and Loki then transported both of them into the hallway. From there, they ducked and ran through the halls, dodging guns and seeking the way out. When they got out, they kept going until they came to the heart of what is now known as the Badlands. After that, Loki realized that there would be three groups hunting him as well as her one and there was no way this girl could survive alone in the wild. Besides, this girl had his skills and would be an interesting apprentice. So in case she knew anything about the past, he introduced himself as "Merlin" and said that he had discovered her through stories of a mortal that had powers such as him.
His caution was unnecessary right then though. Through her rapid growth from conception to four years of age then her two years afterwards, she had only learned speaking and fighting, only knowing herself as Experiment Alpha who would be given a true name if she proved herself worthy to Arnim and Alchemax. Merlin was surprised at that and offered to teach her what she had been missing out on as well as some more techniques if she wanted. The girl was eager to learn from her rescuer and was thrilled when he then gave her a name, Cyrania de Bergerac, a name he considered fine for a mortal sorceress. The resulting years were heavenly for Cyrania and made Loki grow fond of this offspring of his, though her Captain America tendencies would vex him. She would often get her energy to dangerously low levels when helping some passerby fend off the wildlife and the increasing numbers of Hulk-like creatures, causing Merlin to have to go in and rescue her. From one of those passerby, she first heard about the Heroic Age and begged Merlin to tell her about it. So he told tales of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the only exceptions were any tales relating to Loki. Cyrania was suspicious of the gaps, but Loki prefered the suspicions to potentially losing her love and trust. She looked up to those superheroes, Cap especially, and wanted to be like one of them. What would she think if her mentor and biological father was a supervillain? And as he saw his daughter seek to emulate her other biological father, he was jealous that she would take so much after him, yet proud of the woman she was becoming and realized that he didn't want her to follow his path. He realized this more and more as he started to enjoy helping her help others and was proud and saddened by her wanting to go into Nueva York and stop Alchemax from doing anymore of the evil she kept hearing about from desperate travelers who ran into the Badlands to escape.
But Cyrania wasn't ready yet the first dozen times she tried to go, so Merlin stopped her then. But he knew she would be soon, and he at least wanted her to have some sort of physical weapon to have as a fallback. And there was one place he knew of that contained real quality weapons. So on her 17th birthday (date: the day she was rescued, age: the years after their escape plus her bodies six previous years), Merlin told Cyrania about a "deserted Asgardian armoury" where they were going to get her a weapon (a lie he hoped to keep secret since his target was a part of the armoury people rarely went, he could probably disguise the presence of people without her realizing it, and he could teleport directly to where the most powerful Asgardian-made weapons were). Cyr was eager for a real weapon, having been trained by Merlin in various weapon types using illusion weapons, but wondered how an abandoned armoury could still have weapons in it. That question then seemed to have been answered when they arrived and were met with a security alert and a welcoming committee of Asgardian automatons. Merlin held them off while she went to wisely choose a weapon, Cry hoping she didn't choose too late. She felt drawn to one lonely corner where a sword was set in an old leather sheath. Merlin was starting to get swamped, so she ran and grabbed the sheath and sword. Then she strapped the sheath to her side, drew out the sword, and teleported herself back to the battle. Cry found as she slashed and dodged that the sword felt like an extension of herself, it amplified her abilities and gave her a solid attack in her mostly defensive arsenal. It just felt so natural to her that she almost didn't notice when the last automaton was defeated and was whisked away by Merlin before the cavalry arrived. After the jump back to the Badlands, Loki took a good look at his daughter's choice and recognized the blade. It was Laevateinn, an ancient sword made for a sorcerer's use that all had assumed Loki would wield since Thor had Mjolnir. The sword though had to same caveat as the hammer, only one who was worthy could wield it, and the sword had never considered Loki worthy. Now she was wielding it as if it had been with her for her entire life, then when Cyr asked about the sword, Merlin, to help her not become proud or doubtful, told her the sword's name, that is was a vibranium-like material, and that it could only be wielded by a random few and she was one of them. Cyr then asked if she was ready and Merlin said yes. She at first thought he would go in with her, but Merlin said that she should start in there and search for the new heroes of this age so they could band together against the evil. He would go for any of the old heroes who were still alive and come back to her. He advised though that Cyr choose a cover name that would work for day-to-day living in the city, so Cyr choose Alastrina Rogers, Alice for short. Then after a heartbreaking farewell, the two went their separate ways, Cyrania into the city join the new Avengers against Alchemax, Loki into a quiet spot where he could plan what he was going to do next.
Notes - Sorry that the Bio's so long, just wanted to make sure to answer the questions without too many plot holes. The inclusion of Laevateinn comes from some comics having Loki wielding it. Loki can still revert to a bad guy if the GM wants, though I'm one of those who like the idea of a good Loki.
Nice way to get around the exp thing LOL, and the fact she's not named after another hero from the Heroic Age. I like everything so far, a bit powerful... but she's a test tube hero and a lot of them are uber-powerful [see Rogue].
