@Apollosarcher So... did the original attack hit or not. I mean Cyrus pretty much completely circumvented the Stop spell so what exactly did Arthal do after that?

@Apollosarcher I thought that jump was for the second attack that accompanied by the Reflect Spell? Oh well, it's not that important anymore.

@Apollosarcher I really don't think we should continue the fight at this point. The intro's have been slowed down by it as is and, well, I think we'd all rather let the story progress now.

Name: Daichi
Age: 24
Species: Human
Appearance:
Keyblade:

Keyblade powers: Sand mastery - When in a sand terrain the user's attacks become powered up with sand. User can also partially manipulate the sand to create sandstorms.

Heart type: Heart of the champion
Spells: Aero, Thunder, Blizzard

Bio: Daichi was born into a gang of thieves in Agrabah. His father was the leader of the gang and because of that was always busy with the family buisness. Everyone around them always treated Daichi as if he was God's gift to the Earth out of respect and fear of his father. Also, he never spent any time with anyone his age as the gang members valued their spouses and children too much to have them directly involved with gang operations. Daichi grew up very lonely because of this and didn't have many friends for much of his early life. This all changed when Daichi met Zero who was a young son of a prostitute who seemed to be finding his own way in a similar way.

Zero was soon appointed as Daichi's bodyguard which meant that his friend was always by his side. Daichi watched as Zero trained tirelessly and in the spirit of competitiveness trained himself to be on par with Zero. In Daichi's mind, whilst Zero was his friend and his bodyguard, he still had an obligation to be better than him as the highborn out of the two. In this way the relationship proved good for him.

When Daichi was __ years old, the gang was set upon by a rival militia who only went by then name "The 40 Thieves". Daichi watched as Zero aligned with the higher ranking members of the gang as instructed by his father. This soon turned into an instruction of retreat for himself and Zero. Daichi watched helplessly as his namesake was being uprooted by this rival gang. At that point something erupted inside of Zero and he recieved his keyblade. With this new weapon Zero was able to fight and temporarily hold of the advances. The jealousy and feeling of uselessness created a burning fire within him which materialised into his keyblade.....

After the dust settled Daichi and Zero survived, however the rest of his father's clan was wiped out leaving nothing. Zero maintained his allegience to Daichi and they now spend their time as sellswords travelling worlds for money.

Profile approved. I ask that you don't move your character over to the character tab till the GM has a chance to look it over and approve it as well.

So is every character in this RP going to be an asshole to some degree? Certainly seems like it.

Oh I'm not asking for apologies, just making an observation. And besides, I'm pretty sure Bellasiel is, so far, the only one not being a jerk. Here's what I'm gathering from the characters based on their dialogue and actions thus far (Bear in mind these are simply my own personal impressions so you may want to take them with a grain of salt):

-Daichi: So far he sounds like a self-entitled thug and bully that really could stand a slice of humble pie at some point.
-Zero: At this point I can only assume he's an emotionally stunted drone who apparently isn't capable of making decisions, instead just blindly deferring to his prince.
-Rex: Okay, now Rex himself isn't actually that bad a guy from what I can tell, but holy crap his Keyblade is a friggin' psychopath, apparently.
-Azazel: I could be misreading something, but he's coming off as a hypocrite. I mean the guy inwardly mocked Arthal and Cyrus for using magic in their fight when, you know, he's a friggin' mage who, himself, has been using nothing but magic to do anything for himself.
-Arthal: Admittedly I didn't exactly get the best first impression of him, at first believing he was an arrogant prick. But since the fight with Cyrus Apollo's posts have made it clear that that was all a facade. However, that small glimpse of his real personality he showed at the end of the fight showed him to be... an arrogant prick, absolutely convinced that there was no possible way Cyrus could hope to beat him to the point he even said as much.

So yeah, those are my initial impressions of the characters I find to be less than likable at the moment. If I'm wrong about anything feel free to correct me, of course. After all, those are just my own personal first impressions and therefore totally subjective and debatable.

This actually kind of has made me curious on what you think of Bellasiel as well as Mac&Cheese. I hadn't really noticed all that completely but you do have some valid points.

sorry, I wanted to give my character some power, but at a down fall. He won't use the keyblade's power that often. I just wanted to show what the Keyblade can do when he over uses it.

@Akayaofthemoon She reminds me of the various White Mage characters from Final Fantasy (Which I admittedly have always had a soft spot for). And believe me, in a party like this one, that's a real breath of fresh air. She's been the most likable to me thus far for that reason alone.

@Rex Crap, did I call him Rex and not Seth? I'm sorry about that, I'm usually pretty good about avoiding that kind of mix up. Guess I slipped today. And as I said above, no need for apologies from anyone, that was just an innocent observation on my part. Nothing more.

No need for any apologies. We all knew that you wanted the power to have a downfall. What Double says is actually a compliment to your writing because it is one hell of a downfall. Over using makes the nice wonderful guy scare me XD I thought it was epic

I have never really played the final fantasy games but I am glad that she feels kind of like a white Mage since the feel I was going for. ^_^
