The hand placed over stephen's mouth is rather quickly intercepted and moved, the palm being held between the thumb and forefinger in a grip that the diplomat could recognize as vaguely martial-arts inspired and would really hurt the harder he tried to remove his hand from it. "you weren't there for the last chaos storm so don't speak like you understand this particular enemy. Also, this 'klonos' can only stall against such creatures. they will come, and they will skull fuck each and every one of you to death barring swift and decisive action." stephen says with a sigh before relinquishing the diplomat's hand, his comment aired.

As Tiny surveys the ruined town and searches for the girl known as Alice, unknowingly to him, something far more sinister was also prowling through these ruins. Hiding in the shadows, a crimson mandible tail can be vaguely seen disappearing into the dark decrypted house. This thing is aware of Tiny's presence and already is commencing to stalk this new person. She takes several quick steps, casting an uneasy aura throughout the area. Perhaps Tiny can already feel it... or not.

Either way, the thing keeps following him, making several slight hisses as it does so. Whatever is following Tiny is now preparing to strike as its mouth opens to reveal several rows of needle-sharp teeth...

Tiny's head snapped over to it, as if he had heard whatever was lurking. Slowly, he raises his staff, and smiled. "...I suggest you come out of the shadows. I'm an old man, it's not like you'd have much of a fight against me anyway. I'd at least prefer to see what's going to kill me..."
It was a bluff of course. Tiny had heard the hissing, and now was confronted with a foe he knew nothing about. He was stalling, waiting to see what it was, so he could fight it. Some how. Some way. He felt panic coursing though his veins, an old familiar rush. Was he going to die here? For once, he bothered to ask that question..it'd been so long..since he cared enough to.

Another hiss can be heard, following by a crackling noise, as if the thing was laughing at Tiny's remark.

"Young or old, it does not matter to me."

From behind the man, he can finally see his stalker from only 5 meters away. It was a woman, who was quite tall, standing at nearly 7 feet tall, wearing red and black robe-like clothing, a fancy black hair-do made up with combs and clips, a yellow horn sticking from the top of her head, and red glowing eyes filled with deadly lust and a deceiving stare. She also happens to have a small thin smoking pipe in which she takes a quick puff. She then grins devilishly as a violet aura peers from her hand and pipe.

"Surprised?" the woman asks in a sultry voice as she glares deep into Tiny's eyes, as to freeze him in fear perhaps.

The ambassador seems to blanche as Stephen describes the incoming threat in painstaking detail. The two men besides him don't move. He seems to be further bewildered by the statement made by the ambassador. "Evacuate the planet? That's impossible! Just to move all the people in the major cities into space could take months, assuming you have both the space and the resources. But with the wartorn zones, and all the people outside the cities...." He shakes his head. "Is there no way we can fight them? We can't run from our planet, it's just not feasible. And if we really can't hide, then our only option is to fight... right?" Despite his obvious fear he was coping with the idea of a global threat fairly well. Most likely, however, it just hadn't really sunk in.

Tiny and Destroyah would find themselves in a bombed-out ruin of a European city. The once proud buildings had been torn down, the walls bombed and defaced with graffiti. People could be seen living in the ruins, pitiful and weak. Families hid in the remains of a ruined house, even as several large buildings seemed to have been reinforced as makeshift strongholds. Soldiers could be seen patrolling the streets further on, bearing the crest of an eclipsing sun. It was like a gang mark, and it could be seen repeated all over the place. On the walls, on the flags, and on the people.

Of course, Alice herself was not all too far from where Tiny and Destroyah were facing off. She was huddled into a back alley, clutching the small meal she had been able to secure. In this world there was no mercy for children, but there was... insurance. She was known around here, and those who knew her knew to keep her on their good side. The Mutant made a living of the fear that surrounded her, scrounging by on the collective of what others could spare. It was far from a good life, but it was better than the one she had lived. However, she had no plans of getting involved in the conflict outside of her little alleyway. It wasn't her business. Murders and battles were commonplace here, and one remained alive by avoiding both.

Mithias halted alongside the others as a goblin-like creature dropped out of nowhere and jabbed Juggernaut with a needle. Mithias had sensed the creature's approach and even was able to tell what it was planning before it happened, but so much else was going on around him that he didn't realize exactly what he was sensing in time react. Nonetheless, he knew Juggernaut was going to be ok. He frowned at the goblin creature, whose name was "Little-D" before Hyen flicked him off into unconsciousness.

"Indeed." Mithias replied to Hyen. Michael stood with them, seemingly confused. "I believe the goblin was true in his words, that he was carrying out Tiny's wishes, but I also feel like Tiny needs us. Both of them, Mithias indicated the two unconscious people, will wake up safely soon, but I'm not going to stick around. As much as I am eager to learn what this Juggernaut was hoping to tell me, this ship and this world are in immediate danger. I need to get outside."

Mithias looked at the other two. "Come with me if you wish, but I can't say it won't be dangerous."

-----

Having no weapons or any significant armor, Mithias exited the ship. The locals were all crowded around Stephen with small lights and primitive drone-like machines that were probably recording holograms of everything that he and the planetary representative said. Mithias drew a little attention, but was able to outpace the paparazzi. He followed his psychic senses, searching for an individual amid the cacophony of entities around him, but Tiny was gone.

"Hmph. I am surprised. If you're some sort of demon, hoping to throw me off with your looks, you did a crappy job." Tiny says, bluntly. His right arm lights up with red lighting, as quickly, he touches the ground, dropping down. This strange power surges down into the decrepit soil, and Tiny grins.
"...I'll give you a chance to leave, now. There is someone here of far greater power than either of us...I need to find them." Tiny speaks, but his cocky attitude which was present just moments ago, totally gone. "This person may be the greatest chance of saving this world as we know it. If you intend to fight me, or otherwise delay me..I will destroy you."
Of course, Alice could hear this. She could feel, something close to a tingling feeling rising from the ground. Everyone could. The sick began to feel revitalized. The wounded, saw their wounds close up at a far faster rate, one visible to the naked eye. Alice and Destroyah could feel aches and pains of all sorts vanish, being replaced with this tingling.

"Hmph. I am surprised. If you're some sort of demon, hoping to throw me off with your looks, you did a crappy job."

Destroyah simply smirks, baring her sharpened teeth, and chuckles devilishly at Tiny.

"Charming." she remarks sarcastically while taking out her pipe, "But you should watch yourself boy."

As Tiny's right arm lights up with red lightning, Destroyah's arms began to wrap around with a violet-aura, even with her eyes glowing faintly the same color.

"...I'll give you a chance to leave, now. There is someone here of far greater power than either of us... I need to find them. This person may be the greatest chance of saving this world as we know it. If you intend to fight me, or otherwise delay me... I will destroy you."

But just after he finishes, he would suddenly be blasted backwards by a volley of violet energy, almost electrical. The kaiju-hybrid laughs evilly, looking down upon her victim.

"Destroy me?" asks the kaiju-hybrid with a growl which bellows into a laugh, "You don't even know who your facing. I have killed many people... kings... queens... GODS and Goddesses. I am she who has made the deal with the devil, I am she who killed the King of Monsters, I am hell incarnate! I am... DESTROYAH!"

And with that she issues an ugly, uncomfortable crackling roar, putting fear and utter discomfort to those who have heard it nearby...

"....Destroyah, huh? Killed gods, and goddesses? Well then, that changes things..." Tiny says, picking himself up from the dust he was left in by Destroyah's attacks. He'd almost dodged it...almost, as it's seen he's missing his right arm, the attack sheering it right off. Blood, however, was not trickling out of the wound, it being cauterized by something. Magic? The attack itself? Who knows...But, one thing's for sure, it looked like it hurt like a bitch.
"...Hmph...Ok, how about we make a little deal then. I could keep dodging, and healing, wasting each others time until you manage to kill me, which could take hours..or..I say we do something a lot simpler. You let me charge an attack for..let's say..5...10 minutes. If you survive my attack, well, I'll be a sitting duck, all out of juice. However, if I manage to beat you with this attack, you'll leave me, and the person I'm looking for alone...how does that sound?" Tiny says. Again, this was a bluff. He knew if he had that much time, he could take Destroyah, but if she saw though this, it'd be a matter of minutes before he exhausted his powers healing himself against her attacks. This was, really, his only shot...and even then, he wasn't sure if it would work.

"You won't have to fight...if we cannot evacuate, we're going to need to shield this planet from their attack. Your techknowlogy as we've seen it will hold not a match to theirs. We'll engage them in orbit of the planet, and hopefully not let them though. Even if they go get though, we'll be leaving soldiers on the ground to deal with them. They've not the advantage of surprise this time......" The Ambassador says to Jack, before turning to Stephen.
"As for you, pull something like that again, and I'll have you arrested for trying to incite panic during a diplomatic mission. I don't care who you are, I will not allow you to lie to these people to spread fear and chaos. Am I understood, boy?" The Ambassador growls to Stephen, obviously not a fan of his little stunt. "They won't be able to create a warp storm over the planet...Klonos has seen to that. Their teleportation will also be disabled, as the field she's exerted will allow her to divert attempts at teleportation for the current time to a prison ship, filled with specialized holding cells even these chaos worshipers won't be able to escape. We've the situation under control."

"have you ever been through a warp storm? it's literally reality opening up, mutating all life that can't resist it beyond whatever shielding you may conjure and then killing all those that are left. If you wish to continue this then nothing will be solved. if you shut up and listened to me, then you may make it through this with at least the vast majority of the population of this planet still left sane and/or living." stephen says evenly, talking over the ambassador and directing his statement more at jack then anyone else there before taking out a watch and adding "one minute thirty seconds"

"We've a rouge element, send a squadron of soldiers to come pick up this trash." The Ambassador says into a phone, and he stares directly at Stephen while he does, and soon a group of soldiers arrive, men with Sci-fi armor and weapons that seem a teir above the soldiers that were with the Ambassador at first.
"Also, it's not a minute thirty you moron, the Chaos have no idea where we are. They're currently searching for us, giving us time to set up defenses. Just another admission of ignorance on your part." The Ambassador growls, as the Soldiers motion for Stephen to come along with them.

"the amusing thing about this particular enemy is it's unpredictability. we could have seconds, minutes, centuries, no one knows. However, one thing that is certain is how fucked this planet will be if we listen to you. You weren't there last time these fuck wits showed up. your forces arrived hours too late to the party and didn't even spend the time to ask what went on in the rather large communications deadzone that was formed by the chaos storm." Stephen responds before turning to jack and adding evenly "you can accept my help or their's. I will not be able to save everyone and i will not promise you that i will. However, these people will only be able to save their own skins after promising you everything. It's your choice to make" while the military units find themselves completely ignored

High up in orbit, the clone vessels had detected the enemy fleet entering warp speeds. While it was usually impossible to properly detect a ship moving faster than light from a distance, the psychic void left by these ships made every psionic being on board constantly aware of it's exact location. Almost like a giant psionic middle finger made of fear. As such, despite the fleet disappearing from the scanners, it was clear that they had not left this universe, but had merely accelerated to several times the speed of light. This might surprise the clones, as the forces of Chaos had no need for ftl travel, instead using the warp as a method of transportation. However, this was nothing compared to the surprise that was felt as the ships unexpectedly arrived in the solar system.

There were approximately 200 ships, the largest of which were two dozen kilometers long. And yet they came not with the trademark plasteel plating of the Chaos warships, but clad in hardened organic materials. Thermal readings showed that every single one of the ships was alive, propelling itself through an advanced fusion reactor somehow located within a living being. Immense tendrils reached out into the depths of space, covered in barbs and blades. Rows of canons prepared themselves, filled not with traditional ammunition or advanced energy weaponry, but with the highly advanced electrolysing acid utilized by the Tyranid. It bore no name, carried no signal, and sent no warning. An armada of merciless killing machines had just entered the solar system, and suddenly the forces of chaos seemed so much further away.

The immense ships seemed to hover around the planets at the edge of the solar system, sending down hails of pods. Meanwhile, the tendrils reached down onto the planets themselves, draining whatever atmosphere those worlds possessed. Hordes of tiny creatures set about digesting the planets, digging into the outer layers to recover any and all mineral value from them. Entire worlds were stripped bare before the clones' eyes as the ships advanced, seeming to have no goal besides their relentless hunger. For the moment the ships seemed to pay no mind to the clone fleet, although it was almost certain they had been detected. Possibly the clones just weren't looking tasty enough, or possibly they were betting on the clones remaining still to protect the Earth. Either way, the clones and all their allies found themselves suddenly on the menu of this tiny little hive-fleet.

Mithias, no doubt currently feeling the approuching Hive fleet, could sense something else in the distance, a hint of power, of life, so powerful that he's able to pick it up without much trouble. Micheal could feel it as well...as for Hyen, he runs back into the clone ship they exited, and quickly they power up, shields flashing, cannons coming to life with a glow of destruction. The entire fleet lights up, an awe inspiring site from their angle. Jack and the Abassador, and Stephen can also see this. Just then, a voice chimes though on all of the comes.
"return to the ships, we've an biological threat approuching the planet. We're going to intercept them and draw them away, or destroy them." A woman's voice states, and the Soldiers all retreat to their ship.
"....Biological threat? This must be different than the chaos..." The Ambassador says, turning pale. "..We'll meet again, you two...Hopefully." He says, before he as well leaves, boarding his ship, before they begin to take off.

Stephen lets out a sigh of relief despite the encroaching danger, commenting "alright, it wasn't the chaos. dunno how fucked you guys'll be on this one so just prepare for the worst. good luck" before leaving and hopping into the clone ships, searching around for one of the few places that could function as a quiet spot where he could focus. Upon finding said place he relaxes and begins focusing on the various forms of energy running throughout the place, his crystals snaking their way through the ship as if sniffing them out.

Jack sighed, as he watched the ships leave. Turning, he began speaking to the many men here. The people back home weren't going to like this, but he was going to have to make them listen. Despite being the Earth's official spokesmen, he felt suddenly tiny. As if his actions weren't at all relevant to the grander scale of things. But humanity was on the line here, and even if it wasn't much, he would have to do everything he could. The entire world was relying on him. And whatever threats he would face in the future, he would need to ensure that this world was prepared to handle them.

-----------------------------------------------------

The Tyranid ships were currently feasting on the planets of the solar system, but appeared to be avoiding the Earth. Vast hiveships moved past the Earth at the speed of light, manipulating the space around them to flash from world to world, but none ever entered orbit around the blue planet, nor did they enter firing range of the clones' guns. It was unclear as to why this was happening, but this event would cover the solar system in the Shadow Over the Warp. Any psychic being within the ships would find it's powers diminished if not negated completely, and Mithias himself would feel an immense shadow pressing over his mind. The clones would find themselves completely surrounded by an enemy that didn't seem to even care they were there.

----------------------------------------------------

Mithias suddenly felt something smash into his mind. Breaking straight through the numbness the shadow had caused, it pressed in on his very being with immense force. Pain would course through him, before he found himself automatically shielding himself. The Shadow had lowered his defences, and while his thoughts were still absolutely shielded, it was as if his very soul had been attacked. And yet he could still feel an immense presence around him, like claws scraping on the armour of his mind. And moments later he could feel a voice, so deep and powerful it was as if it was resonating with the depths of his soul.

The sense of a massive drawing of lifeforce drew Mithias' attention, and suddenly, he knew where Tiny was. Although he was far, Mithias knew the strange being in the red cape was doing something big. Furrowing his brow, he focused on Tiny and began to channel a portal to him, but halfway through his porting, another force interrupted his perceptions and strangely closed his mind to psychic perception.

"What's this?" Mithias stopped channeling. He'd lost his focus on Tiny's location and could no longer perceive his friend. He spun around and looked up and all around himself, to the sky, to try to see what in hell was darkening down on him. Pain struck him like a lance and instantly he blocked it out, throwing up his old standby wall... but it was pathetically paper thin. A voice pierced through, asking why he was so... shiny?

Mithias gnashed his teeth and responded well within his own mind, exerting his fierce control. "This is MY mind! MY domain! You speak to me here, where I am king. I will ask the questions." Like a colossal black dragon on its heap of treasure, Mithias' mental personification glared glowing yellow eyes from the shadows and raked his fearsome claw through the gold and jewels. The elegant beast rose and stepped forward, long black wings sharp on their edges sliced the air behind him. "Get out, or I will devour you." He growled and flicked his tail.

Outwardly, the near-perfect human glared, having his inner-monologue converse with whatever had dared to invade his private soul. He was going to beat the mental shit out of it.

The creature's mind recoiled as Mithias created his mental projection. He could feel a wave of fear and surprise flung towards him, the emotions seeming to come from all directions. For a moment, he could hear a billion voices speaking, before a single voice drowned all of them out, seeming to emerge from the cacaphony, formed by it. Even as it spoke Mithias could feel the billions of voices it consisted of, all of them forced to speak in unison. A billion minds as one. "I am the Devourer!" And yet, even as it spoke those words, it sounded more defensive than insulted, as if Mithias were wounding it's pride. It was, all in all, a rather odd response.

Of course, that was when the dropship slowed to a halt. The pilot was cursing in the front of the ship, but despite the engines burning full throttle the ship wasn't able to advance a single inch. An immense psionic hand wrapped around it, holding it in place. And it was that same strength that crushed the ship's engines, the sound of screeching metal filling the small ship as the hull caved in. The ship then rapidly gained velocity as it shot towards the Earth, accelerating far more than would be expected if it were simply gravity pushing them. The entire ship had been caught in midair, and tossed back towards the planet's surface.

The friction of the rapid acceleration through the atmosphere would form a halo of plasma around the ship. While it had been designed for reentry and was thus capable of resisting the heat associated with that, it was moving significantly faster than it was ever intended to. There had further been a slight hull breach, and heat was making it's way through this breach to the air inside. The atmosphere within was toasty to say the least, and continuously getting hotter. Furthermore, with the engines out, there was no real way to slow the descent. Should the ship hit the ground, the resulting explosion would most likely decimate whatever area it landed in, the kinetic energy creating a shockwave that equalled a nuclear weapon in destructive capability.
