Personality: The name Rin was picked aptly for little was left to chance in the making of the woman that Tsukino Rin is. Cold, dignified, severe, these are the first and most obvious traits of Rin. She was raised to be modern royalty, living in luxury though not pampered by it. Hers was a life full of demands and tests. She cannot bear to have nothing to do, always putting her mind and body to some task or the other. She is quite clever, incredibly intelligent though somewhat emotionally stunted. She acts with full propriety, doing her best and more on all tasks required of her while keeping a quiet air of dignity. However... deep cold within herself lies a font of cold, suppressed rage. She's not naturally a bad person, but life has sharpened her to the point of being ruthless and uncaring for most... as well as a bit of a snob. More than anything she chases perfection... while at the same time fearing and hating the one who made her the way she is.
Background/History: Tsukino Rin was born as the daughter of the famous entrepreneur Tsukino Satoshi, a rising star in Japanese business with a great deal of popularity for his good looks and physique. However, his popularity hides some connection to criminal elements as well as a ruthless, incredibly controlling personality. Marrying a beautiful heiress to a more traditional fortune, the man became a dictator of his household, inspiring fear and keeping a rigid control over the going ons of the place... however, when he heard his wife, Miyamoto Junko was pregnant his desire for control boiled over into an obsession with his own offspring. Satoshi made sure Rin had everything she needed to grow up healthy and strong... as well as micromanaging near every aspect of her life since the moment she was born. In her she saw his greatest project, his greatest creation... a chance to mold his own blood and kin into perfection. A girl who was born bright and happy was soon burrowed in responsibilities and expectations, strict teachers and instructors and the worst of all... his own father, the ultimate fear and strictest judge of them all. She was kept apart from her mother as she was nourished in mind and body... endless hours of focused study with punishments for disobedience, gruelling practice and training for her body. She was pushed to her limits, while monitored closely to make sure she never broke. A joyless childhood on which Rin developed a deep hatred for the strict figure of her father... just as much hate as she had fear... and worse yet, the more she hated herself for being so moved and yearning of his approval on the rare occasions where he gave them. For even in this, the man was controlling and manipulating her feelings to better push her to excel. One of her few chances to rebel she found on a gentle young man from her piano lessons... a foreign student who despite her cold exterior kept trying to come closer to her. Michael he was called and after a few rough patches, he became her first true friend... and from him she got a view of the world she didn't know. Of warmth, kindness. He was fond of stories and myths and shared with her lots of them... she didn't care for most of them, but just seeing him so passionate grew an interest in her... made it enjoyable to listen. She began sneaking reading about world mythologies for a while... and those days were among the happiest in her life. It all, of course, ended when the jealous Satoshi finally learned of the influence of one in her life. One day, Michael just stopped coming to lessons, his phone wouldn't pick up... and upon digging, she learned his family left the country on some scandal and rumors of crime. That was one of the breaking points for Rin... and her hysteria as she confronted her father was one of the greatest she faced in her life. It was also one of the few times her father hurt her physically as a punishment instead of redoubling the intensity of her training. Two years passed since that moment and Rin kept living her life as her father's puppet all the while resenting the position... what happened with Michael only reinforcing her disgust even as she kept competing for the top scores academically, being signed up for physical competitions. Being made a trophy chasing trophy child... so much that her resentment boiled over into a plea to be made free...
Goal/Desires: Perfection. Freedom. Power.
Powers:
Chaser of Perfection: Rin is one that has been molded with discipline and training her entire life. While she was gifted in smarts and healthy in body, that didn't amount to as much as she had to train herself and make a constant effort to be better. She's intimately familiar with failure, having crashed against it over and over again until she could overcome the obstacles in her path. She admired the heroes of legends, those figures that rose over their peers and the greatest of foes by their innate gifts and training, becoming epitomes of humanity... and in such fantasies, also lie her few happy dreams. She wishes only for a strong body and a strong mind to chase after greater heights.
Perfection of Body: Rin comes into this new world with a fit and athletic body for a young woman her age... and upon it she cast the wish for it to grow and adapt, to learn what she needs in order to become stronger... to not be bound by physical limits. Upon reaching the new world, Rin's body will be improved in strength, agility and endurance, as well as granting it the ability to grow in power and memorize techniques faster than it would be normal. The ability she notices also comes with a light shapeshifting effect... by concentrating on her appearance for a few minutes she can make small changes upon herself, such as her features, color of eyes, skin and the like, though these are superficial ones.
Perfection of Mind: Rin was a smart girl before... top of her class, disciplined and clever. Upon coming onto this world, however, she takes it up a notch, gaining a near photographic memory and more importantly, the capacity for heightened learning and understanding, able to by logic learn how things work by observing them. To her surprise, she gains the first inklings of magic understanding merely by being in a world with magic, obtaining the capacity to do some minor magic immediately upon getting there such as telekinesis up to a few pounds, making small lights appear, detection of magic and even flinging a projectile of energy with roughly the strength of a powerful blow.
Equipment/Inventory: The clothes she was wearing, a cellphone and a credit card. Also a pretty silver necklace her father bought but that her mother picked.

Personality:
Rena quite honestly could be described as just plain normal, at first glance that is. She cannot be defined as a tomboy per say, but not only is she rather headstrong, she can also be quite stubborn. When it comes to dealing with others Rena prefers to keep matters nice and peaceful, a preference to take the diplomatic approach. Make no mistake she absolutely will not back down from threats or challenges, she will not be pushed around.

Background/History:
A middle class citizen as she had been for her entire life, Rena has lived a very typical childhood... well except for one glaring difference. Rena Smith was a military kid, in fact she wasn't born on the American mainland, but in Germany. Her father was a military man, army, and it was a family decision to keep everyone together, so wherever dad was stationed was where she went. Moving fairly often was a mixed bag, like making new friends was always stressful, but it also offered unique experiences, just having the opportunity to see more of the world.

Around the age of nineteen was when Rena started her college adventure, for the most part she was an average student. Here she pursued a degree in psychology, it started as a general interest in human behavior, but as she went along Rena decided to become a therapist. Unfortunately, mainly due to money issues, she had to abandon these dreams and stopped before finding a graduate school. Having a degree still had its advantages which landed her a secure job as an accountant for one of America's major corporations. It wasn't close to what she wanted to do, but at least it offered a good income.

Modern day Rena was preparing for work, paperwork from the previous night all tidy and filed. A bag lunch was in hand, only baloney sandwich actually... nothing special there, but then... Aurora happened.

Goal/Desires:
Finding a way home is probably on top of the metaphorical to-do list, but otherwise... well Rena doesn't exactly know what she's doing.

Powers:
Philosopher's Hands: This power grants the wielder the ability to basically bend the physical world to their will, and this just doesn't mean reshaping it. Turning mercury to gold is actually possible now, just doing so might not be the most useful, nor the most extreme uses of this power. Now the wielder is still partially constrained by the natural laws, this being equivalent exchange meaning nothing is made from nothing, you know where matter cannot be created or destroyed. Also not everything is free reign such example is an entire planet. At their strongest the wielder can turn ironclad fortresses walls into nothing more than dust, but initially small objects are about all that can be handled; such as candlesticks, cookware, or maybe a tiny section of wall.

Elemental Sense:The wielder is given an innate sixth sense to recognize the basic makeup of any non-magical object. The wielder must physically touch the object in question.

So I found out about this game and it rather excited me, eheh. Here's hoping I made the cut.

Name: Tamaki Asagami

Sex: Female

Age: 18

Appearance: "I wonder if there's treasure around..."

Ethnic: Japanese

Personality: Tamaki is a cheerful gal who goes about being dynamic and bombastic, often times puttering around with what seems like limitless amounts of energy. She is direct and to the point, often lacking in anything known as subtlety due to her blunt honesty. She is also stubborn- not giving up on something when she put her mind to work on it, though she's not inflexible in her way of thinking and is of very broad mind and thinking. The girl also tends to have an extremely creative mind that is fertile enough to support a wide variety of daydreams and strange imaginings, essentially making her a cloud cuckoolander.

Background/History: A student in her final year of high school, Tamaki is one of those weirdoes that regular Japanese society doesn't get too much of often in real life. Her behavior was utterly at odds with Japanese decorum, being direct instead of subtle and loud instead of quiet. She was also extremely tomboyish and rather unfeminine, having even beaten the entire male student body in terms of athleticism and outperforming them in sports and martial arts. As such, she was known as "The Real Life Anime Character" and kept at arms length by her fellow peers for not conforming to the norms and being the nail that stuck out. Still, this didn't really stop her and the girl went about her life with the same zeal as before, not minding that she was shunned except for lamenting how boring everything was in a world where people weren't allowed to be as emotinonal and carefree as she. Naturally this longing for "excitement" led to her being dragged into a totally different world that seemed almost tailor made for her expectations...

Goal/Desires: Tamaki simply wants to be rich and successful... by completely honest means and hard work. She also wants fun and exciting adventures.

Powers: Full of Life, Body and Mind in One Accord- Tamaki is so energetic that this very quality led to her being able to achieve the equivalent of gaining Ki, or "Life Energy", that is found in various fictional media. Using this inner power, Tamaki enhances her own body to achieve greater reaction times, physical strength, bodily endurance, and movement speed. Combined with Tamaki's knowledge of various martial arts, this essentially turns her into a fighting game character in all but name. At the moment, she has only gained the ability to buff herself up slightly from her regular limits. In the future after long, grueling time spent on training herself both mentally and physically, she'd be able to do things like wall run, hop across tree branches, dash against water, climb up smooth surfaces, hide her presence, poke pressure points, aerial juggle, double jump, exude killing intent, utilize Ki externally, and so on.

Equipment/Inventory: Tamaki's Homemade Cosplay Outfit, a bag full of purchased bentos and beverages, and a sizable stack of doujins.

Important Notice:

Since things seem to be getting rather full and are still active, I'll only be accepting maybe a couple or more sign ups at the very most as I start writing up the OP. Doesn't mean I will stop accepting sign-ups, it just means I wont be accepting anymore initially just so that the ball gets rolling for people.

For the most part, everyone will be split up into random small groups unless you all would like to be summoned with someone in particular and I have given the A-Okay. Maximum number per group will be THREE, unless specific events call for more per groups.
