@j8cob Sensei is a treatment used for anyone in a dignified position that is expected to guide people. This it's used not only to teachers, but medics, lawyers, engineers, etc...

In sum, it's a treatment for people who "know more than you". But you are right in that Chikage was issuing or to tease Kazuki. I just felt like dropping this random info bit of Japanese culture.
