The two women were left to bicker a the monster had responded in a very direct manner to the Ethereal's proposition. Needless to say, it was pleased to hear the beast's consent. The condition wasn't problematic either as they were going to need a shakedown of the anomaly planet they were just in so they could observe the various travelers and possibly weed out the threats. Using its Psionic powers, the leading alien caused the gel surrounding Apocalypse's body to dissolve but the barriers remained in case of a sudden 180 turn on the Ethereals. There was no issue with that, as they had the teleporter linked to the perimeter dedicated to Apocalypse's jail. All they would have to do is use the Terminal linked to the cloaked ship to send him back to Arcadia.
"We accept your condition. However there are a few regulations to follow when operating under our command. To start off, the 'Terminals' are to be preserved at all costs. Their destruction is strongly frowned upon. Secondly, you will be directly linked to our telepathic web, allowing you to receive and send messages through telepathy. Finally ..."
The Ethereal turned to face the general direction of a white wall as if it were contemplating a very sensitive piece of information. It paused for about five long seconds, leaving a deafening silence to the room filled with stressed scientists evidently in fear of Apocalypse. The lower Ethereals could not show such reactions but never spoke a word. Finally gathering its speech back, it simply turn its head to face the beast before exposing the information.
"If the elders told the absolute truth and our data is correct ... Within this Multiverse lies an extradimensional creature capable of great things. When you will see it, it may appear as something forgettable, likely even human considering the odds. However, even a monstrosity such as yourself will recognize the disconcerting anomaly it may be. Do not harm it. It not only has the potential to destroy you but it is probable to hold an extremely unstable behavior. You will know once you find it."
Without wasting another word, the teleport machine would finally begin to work, leaving a window of opportunity for the beast to reply before being warped back into the world it started in. It would actually land where France was, more precisely in the city of Nantes. From there it could easily travel and find its prey without too many disturbances. The beast would find itself crashing once more into the ruined city, but once up and ready, it would notice small drones hovering in the nearby area. They weren't hostile and Apocalypse could quickly deduce that they were likely to be the Ethereal's. He was free to rampage for a certain period of time until he'd be called off. They didn't want too much attention drawn on him. But for now, he acted as a lone being without any affiliation. That's how opponents would see it at least.
The Uber Ethereal paused for another brief moment, realizing that this crew had just evaded a catastrophe. This was mostly thanks to the fact that Apocalypse wielded a certain level of intelligence. But that led to other long term difficulties. In any case, it had to dedicate its efforts elsewhere for the time being. As such, the two unique women standing near it were now the center of its attention.
"Mikoto. Survey the beast and study the odd individuals in Arcadia. We may have what The Envisioning One is looking for down there. Conablum, now that you have tasted the position of our laboratories, perhaps it is time you display your assets. If a mutual interest is found, we could easily conclude into a merger. You must be warned, however. Nothing regarding the Ethereal Ones' technology or the Multiverse must be made public to your respective universe. That of course is a non-factor if such a practice is widespread in your universe, which we doubt."
