And then I see a new character that can generate 1 billion volts. of electricity. Saber cloth is strong, and can dissipate a lot of energy. But exposure to that much power for longer then a few seconds would probably leave a mark. If not outright over load the saber cloth and still have enough energy to pop her head off.

I just had the idea that, considering the fact that the aliens in Xcom 2 clearly utilized the DNA of Earth-based lifeforms to create more powerful soldiers, they could do something similar with Apocalypse.

Doomsday Chrysalids. Sweet muppety Jesus that'd be terrifying XD

That would be horrid. Though now that they tried to kill her, Cyano would be all for them creating them if she knew about chrysalids. Knowing her she would probably try to kidnap one to study it's brainwaves so she could make something to control them all.

@Absolis
Well, they're all directly linked to the Uber Ethereal. Effectively they're in a massive psychic hive mind that controls the entire alien fleet. So I don't think there's any real way to control them without killing the Uber Ethereal first.

I've been thinking on what to do, and which people I want to crash in on, but I'm thinking of crashing in on the aliens. Any thoughts? o.o

@thewizardguy Funny enough I was considering that on Beserkers at first but hey! So many options when an outstanding discovery is made. And controlling one individually should be possible, considering they're rather simple creatures, but the hive? Likely not.

@Absolis It all depends if the cloth is immune to said energy spheres fusing with it rather than inflicting damage. The attacks don't explode but turn anything they combine with into bombs. But as I read the cloth's description it seems to be able to resist that too.

Edit: I don't think they've tried to kill her as much as warn her. It's pretty much no man's land in the multiverse these days, can't trust anyone.

Considering the fact that Rodriguez has no real defence against psionics, I'd recommend only sending him there if you're intending to either be non-aggressive, or to lose.

Nova (the God Emperor) is currently attempting to create a force of heroes to secure this world's future. You could head to the Imperial Palace and join up.

Alternatively, you could try and fight the Alliance of Conquerors, although if you go in alone you'll most likely be forced to run.

Lastly, you could stop the horrific Inkvasion force from forever marking this world.

Mini-doomsday berserkers. Now that would be terrifying.

But it might also be a fairly shitty idea, as Doomsday's DNA has a tendency to take over whatever it's mixed with.

@thewizardguy Yeah that could be an issue. Though they could likely water down the gene splicing and simply serve as an upgrade to the alien forces with little to no drawback. That and the character I'll be introducing soon is actually going to compliment the research really well.

I'm mostly thinking Sectoids with that boost. Weaker Psionics with such a powerful physical boost man. Even worse than Mectoids.

The Doomsday gene is a self-adapting self-reprogramming form of DNA. It's implied it doesn't even use amino acids like our DNA does. It's quite easy to 'Doomsday' things, but keep in mind that the gene will keep adapting and evolving. Meaning that a sectoid given it as a 'boost' would start becoming more and more Doomsday-like, until it turned on the Ethereals.

The only controllable Doomsday clones were massively weakened versions. Darkseid's army of Doomsdays was so weakened that Batman killed one with an axe, but that's the only way he could control them. Brainiac, a massively psionic death-robot, was able to create a Doomsday clone that he inhabited as a body. However, the body eventually became immune to him, and he was nearly destroyed.

Doomsday DNA makes excellent weapons, but they inherit their papa's uncontrollability.

@thewizardguy Then they're great to completely annihilate a planet or universe they need to invade. No need to control them, they'll start by destroying everyone, then themselves. The last one standing can be handled by the new char rather easily considering its ability. I guess the out of control side of it has its benefits if there's no way for it to escape the universe.

The Ethereal's Armageddon Squad. Sounds about right?

If this guy could really handle a Doomsday level being, then sure. But be aware that only the very strongest among them would survive, assimilating the abilities of the others. You'd get an FTL death-machine on Doomsday's level, the kind that could kill the Ethereal before it had time to even realize it was there.

You could always just throw it into a universe you don't like and forget the key I suppose. Like a fire and forget weapon of mass destruction.
