As an fyi, in what I've seen, nomads in space don't tend to work out too well since welp, its just that much harder to be Atila or Genghis when your enemies have the same tech (if not better since its a stationary civ vs a nomadic civ) and can just ambush you once you jump out of FTL.

Or there's the Migrant Fleet from ME but that isn't too fun either.

@Cale Tucker @Keyguyperson @WilsonTurner Minors start with 1 Superior, 1 Standard, 1 Substandard. but will it be possible, through RP of various types, to improve tech to the next level, like, say, Substandard -> Standard Researched for X number of turns, with certain bits of RP, like, say, negotiating for scientists/researchers from a nation who is real good with that tech to help, that sorta thing? Or, for the more warlike amonsgt us, using captured researchers, and reverse engineering captured tech?
