@Lovely Complex Lol, maybe she can get in the Shou way or if the Weatherman gets Luke. Nori doesn't want to be anywhere close to Kyle right now, especially when she sees that the girl who just died (Mokyu) looks almost exactly like her. Gotta protect him and all that jazz. ;)

Plus, Amity and Nori don't really see eye to eye. :P

@Delta44 More than one person was bothered by it. The Weatherman's scene would have affected more than just Ryoki if people hadn't left beforehand. I know I intentionally left early because I didn't want to be part of the scene. Seeing someone die is pretty traumatizing, so that would have left scars on people that can't really heal, you know? I, personally, have seen someone die in front of me, so I honestly know what it feels like. Definitely takes the romance out of the air. xD

@Viciousmarrow Thank you for inadvertently solving my question! :P And yeah, people dying can fuck someone up, which is generally what I like doing to my characters (especially those who love the person more than life). Sure, romance disappears for awhile, but you can pull it off with a supportive character and some creative thinking.

A 4 week coma also tends to leave people unable to love >_>
