@jetipster I can summarize though I would like you to read at least the first two posts (the intro posts to the roleplay to get an idea of the Elders)
Ravnos is quite popular. Ventrue and Malkavian have two roleplayers in them while Ravnos and Grangrel have three. I personally would prefer you to join Ventrue or Malkavian to balance the houses (Ventrue is where Hael's character is residing in)
You can still be an academic explorer if you'd like, just the other houses don't have as much resources as Ravnos does, they still have smart people. Ventrue is just more dangerously risky while Malkavian uses their looks to their advantage (not just whores but Malkavian are the talkers of the vampire community).
However, if more people do join and Ravnos is the house they set their heart on, I don't mind Ravnos' house being ahead of the game because he's the only house who strives for unity between human and vampire. In other words, he's the more peaceful house.
However, I'd love a balance of the houses ;P
Either way summary:
- Vlad has dinner with Elders and says he needs a successor
- Elders get back home and give their House a task
- Grangrel: Along with what Amaury assigned them, Elizabeth has to watch two of her adjutants while get a delicious lead on where the Malkavian nest is, Igraine has to find the only block of cocaine the drug cartel has because Lord Ventrue stole it from Lord Grangrel at the dinner xD, and Laurent has to find whose been asking about Lord Grangrel's recent kill in the red light district (that would be Locke the hunter who is finding leads on vampires)
- Malkavian: Lorenzo a dhampir has been strolling around town teaching underlings how to hunt using their special skills, while Viktor the Prelate is chatting with his Lord in the Church. He was tasked to kill some politicians who want to pass a bill that vetos the Church's powers.
- Ventrue: Little Aspirant Augustus did a ballsy thing and approached Lord Ventrue (usually just Prelates are allowed to interrupt their Lord), Lord Ventrue was in a good mood, said Augustus shall be turned vampire in three days! BUT he must take this white unknown substance (cocaine) xD and find out what it is. He gave little Augustus a gun for protection!
- Ravnos: Magdalena (Lena) and Greg basically dragged socially awkward dhampir Lyla outside to gain inspiration, Lyla escapes while Lena is talking about her virginity lost story, Lyla and Greg go search for her, they bump into Vikas (a vampire...vampire hunter xD) in front of a red light district cabaret. Of course, they can't tell. No one can tell if the other is a vampire or human, they can just smell a particular scent about them. Vikas pretends to not have seen Lyla. Laurent tries to save Vikas from this awkward big boob encounter crashing into him. Only for Vikas to be really annoyed at him (he's kinda hungry). Greg makes friend with Locke and drags him to the front of the cabaret. He then asks Lena if he can keep Laurent as a pet. xD MEANWHILE, Lyla is on stage being bid for. Because she was mistaken for a peasant costume prostitute (who actually happens to be the girl Amaury murdered earlier that Locke is trying to get to the bottom of and Laurent is trying to discover Locke), Thomas Craven, the prelate from Ravnos, has come back home from outside the country, he leaves and follows the scent of the "Mad One" (Magdalena). He discovers the big commotion going on and slips into the cabaret, now there is a bidding war going on for Lyla. Thomas is trying to claim his underling. Lyla's self esteem is plummeting.
- MEANWHILE, Igraine (Amaury's famous bastard) who is looking for the COKE and Augustus (little human Aspirant) who wants to learn more about the COKE collide in St. Catherine's Apothecary... which is where the Ravnos nest is. Just before Igraine goes to kill Augustus. Madame Fortworth, Lord Ravnos' human lover, and also witch doctor/medium, makes Igraine's entire body freeze by touching nerve points. She then goes to Augustus and blows green powder in his face putting him to sleep. Lord Ravnos slips out the shadows and touches Igraine's nerve point by her temple, knocking her unconscious. Now they are temporal hostages in the Ravnos house.
I think that's it... did I miss anything guys?
