Honestly, I'm glad. It's way easier to just explain how these nutcases came to power than to explain why a bunch of nobodies conquered NC. As for the pop, I'm going to increase it. I was running off of a rough estimate of the population of the mountains, plus refugees, plus a few births.

Haha, mostly I'm just thinking of how ironic it'd be for the Neo Rebels to have rebels smuggling bad stuff out from under their noses. I really hope someone makes a Caribbean nation so that can be a thing.

And I kind of wish I'd chosen to be in a different region of the map now. Can you imagine a nation like mine being near the Neo Confederacy? Whew, Lord, that's a ripe recipe for conflict.

How about who ever gives me the most impressive NS app the quickest with the least amount of flaws I can find gets Texas?

EDIT: Also, the eastern most end of Texas as a little bit bitten off and claimed by someone else. Just an FYI.

Well, I had a pretty nice app made up last night, but with the loss of eastern texas some of my history doesn't fit right, and my computer crashed. I'll probably not bother rewriting my texas and focuse somewhere else.

As the IC progresses, should we be updating our nation sheets or just keep track of the changes somewhere? For instance, let's say a whole bunch of my dudes get killed, or that a new nation joins or an old one leaves. Do you have a specific way you want your players to record that information or would you rather we just keep track of it via reading the IC and remembering what goes down?

Not really. I just say do your best to keep your sheet updated to current times.
I won't be counting on players to update small things like new mines being opened or the death of a hundred or so soldiers (although if the number is at least 1000 you should be doing some number crunching).
Again, as long as you don't loose a battle with half your army dead only for them to appear 100% on your NS and you acting as if you still have all your army instead of only 50%, there won't be an issue.
