"I never miss a shot. I do miss a lot of Guild meetings, though."
Name:: Sun A. Platinna
Nickname/Alias:: The Marksman, The Archer Lazy ass, Sunny.
Gender:: Male
Age and date of birth:: 19, April 20
Guild:: Golem's Hand, and has his Guild Mark in the back of his right forearm, visible whenever he aims his bow.
Rank:: A
Personality:: In a few words, Sun is lazy and free-willed. Most of the time, he is found lazying around some place or other in the guild.
His favorite hobbies are reading, sleeping, lazying around, slacking off, teasing others, being a sarcastic prick and shooting at things. However, he never seems to forget about his training, no matter what he might be doing.
Though the Marksman is indeed probably the laziest member of Golem's Hand, that does not take from his fighting prowess, however. What some would think is an easy opponent or prey is in fact a man whose level-headness and often stoic demeanor has helped him out of more than one battle in which he seemed to be losing.
While he will almost always start a fight with a phrase similar to 'What a pain'
totally not like shikamaru, Sun is always raring to go for a good fight, and in fact is somewhat addicted to it, hence why he finds himself bored most of the time.
The thrill of facing the unknown, or a more powerful enemy, or even gambling something in a fight, even his life. All of it is a thrill for Sun, and if something can be said for certain is that he is never seen smiling as much as when he is fighting.
History:: Do you want tearjerkers and dark af stories? Well, get going somewhere else. Sun wasn't raised by a dragon either, so don't get your hopes up.
While his life couldn't be called 'ordinary' it is indeed rather boring compared to others.
Like himself, Sun's father was a fanatic of guns and, thanks to the fortune he had inherited from Sun's granpa and one that he continued to make grow, he had rooms filled with guns and whatnot.
It was hard for Sun not to become interested in the weapons, even more so when some of the guns there were magical in nature and had several special characteristics.
So, he started hunting from a young age, perfecting his marksmanship. When he became 16 years old, he left his house to look for his own adventure, with the full support of his parents.
While he was against taking any weapon from his father since he wanted to make his own armory, his father still gifted him what may very well be his most powerful weapon in his repertory and what gave him his monikeer as the Archer, The Axis Bow.
After several years of roaming without direction, he found his way to Golem's Hand. He had also already learned his Ex-quip magic, so he thought,
"Might as well."Magic Name:: Ex-quip
Description:: fairytail.wikia.com/wiki/RequipOwned Weapons & Armor::A set of two revolvers to be used at the same time. Their bullets ricochet easily on just about anything, making for a more versatile battle style when using them.
Sun tends to use them at close range instead of his knives, cause he prefers guns.
A large rifle that can be used at mid range or long range. It has three types of (magical) bullets. There are the actual bullets, to damage someone, the rubber bullets that, though they still pack quite a punch, do not pierce and may only leave a bruise, and its specialty, the steam bullets.
They tire the wizard's magical power, but they are definitely worth it. Upon impact, these bullets start releasing steam. Of course, this might seem, at first, completely harmless, but the steam actually burns the skin of the target. If enough of these are used, it is possible to boil someone alive in the steam.
Like any good battle bow in any good action setting, the axis bow has trick arrows that work thanks to the wizard's magical energy.
The bow has explosive arrows, rope arrows (to tie people down upon impact), flash freezing arrows (only a part of the body and it can be broken easily), stun arrows and its namesake, the axis arrows.
The Axis arrows use a lot of Sun's magical power, so much that he can only use one per fight, but that only goes to show how deadly they can be. Their arrowhead is strong and durable enough to pierce through even steel and it is theorized that it can even jam into a dragon scale, but that is not what makes them so special. By using his magical energy, Sun is able to control the arrow at will as it flies around in the air, changing its path and objective with a simple motion of his hand. This only works until the arrowhead is destroyed.
The name is intimidating, sure, but, as far as Sun knows, these knives don't have anything remotely special aside from being really, REALLY durable. Trust him, he shot them with an explosive arrow and they got out of it unscathed.
He uses them at short range or when he needs to shield himself from an attack. More of a last resource kinda thing.
Forgotten Cloak
A simple black cloak that makes Sun basically invisible. Not invisible
invisible, but it pretty much does that.
His presence becomes so easily ignored that he might as well be invisible. He will be able to slip past just about anyone with this hood on. The way to get around this odd magic is to concentrate really, really hard on Sun, so much that you'll forget about your surroundings.
The effect becomes null once someone, anyone at all, notices Sun or if he touches anyone.
Height & Weight:: 1.85 meters & 73 kilograms.
Relatives:: He still has his mother, father and a little sister, but he's not heard of them for three years now, as his current location and affiliation to Golem's Hand is unknown to them (he's travelled a lot).
Possesions:: Books, lotsa of them. A quill from his father that he treasures dearly.
