Full name: Ethan Scott

Alias/Codename: “Amp? SoundWave? Boombox? I don’t know can you come back to me?”

Basic appearance:
5’11” and thin as paper, Ethan isn't exactly intimidating. Often wearing long sleeved shirts or hoodies to hide not only his size but the needle marks on his arms. Though his eyes are a bright blue, he rarely makes eye contact with anyone but the ground.

Costume:

Gloves:
While not exactly easy on the eyes, Ethan built his suit to be functioning rather than fashionable. Not only can it play some sick beats, but it gives him a source of constant sound waves with speakers pointing in all directions.

Skills:
Anyone looking for a DJ? No? Well if you ever need one Ethan’s your guy.

Basic knowledge of wiring and electrical work.

Rather talented at Parkour using it as his form of dodging and moving in combat.

Powers:
Sound manipulation: Ethan can control sound vibrations and alter them. From pitch to loudness he can manipulate them however he wants.
Pros:
Can focus the vibrations into powerful waves that can do physical attacks.

Can make himself as loud or quiet as he needs to be.
Cons:
Must have physical contact with the vibrations in order to control them.

Bio

Brief bio:
Ethan's home life was a mess. Between his parents constant fighting and sharing a room with his annoying siblings, he couldn't get any peace. Instead, he avoided home at all costs. During the day he would hangout with friends doing things like parkour around the city or just chilling and paying games. When night rolled around, he would usually hit up a party or two or just wonder the streets of the Emerald City listening to whatever tunes he had on his iPod.

Unfortunately, the crowd Ethan ran with was not a good one, and in time found himself addicted to an assortment of drugs. It was no coincidence this also started around the time his powers began to manifest. It was one thing to feel and control the sounds of the world, but to experience it while on a high was indescribable.

Though without a job or any money, he had no way to pay for the drugs. His dealers decided the use of his skills on certain jobs would be perfect for paymeny. From carjacking to shakedowns, Ethan was their go to guy for all of it. After all, it was easy to get away with things when you could make the walls shake with your voice, or make no noise at all.

Things wouldn't stay quiet for long. The sudden rise of crime caught the attention of SHIELD who quickly began investigating the situation. It wasn't long before Ethan and people he was working for were tracked down and arrested. Though he was looking at some serious jail time, all charges against him were suddenly dropped and Ethan was set free. Though he wasn't told who gave the order, he was given an application to the Avengers Academy with a message attached to it.

“You have the potential to make a difference in this world. Don't waste it."

Whether it was someone believing in him or just wanting to change his ways, Ethan decided to take the opportunity. After a year getting sobered up and training his powers, he sent in the application and readied to start life of a hero.

Initial observation report:
Ethan has a basic control of his powers, but he still has a ways to go. His intelligence is average but his physical prowess is lacking.

Training regimen/expertise:
Though his powers are strong, his body is not. It's recommended he go into physical combat and weight training. That being said he still has many abilities to unlock. Concentration and power focus classes are suggested. Finally, due to his troubled past, it would be wise to put him in the obedience protocol training to keep him from slipping back.

Potential outlook:
Could become a symbol of redemption showing that even those who have fallen so far can become the best.

Best case scenario:
Gaining full control of his powers and addictions, Ethan could very well be among the top heros and mutants to pass through the academy.

Worst case scenario:
Should Ethan fall back into old habits, it's likely he will be at the mercy of whatever drug lord gets to him first and will use his skills as a way of payment.

Bullet proof kevlar made to pay homage to his 'totem' the kachina known as White Cloud. He also has a number of throwing knives he makes fly faster with wind or use them as conductors for bolts of lightning once he has hit.
Skills:
Dancing: aside from the obvious of Tribal Dancing, he has also studied Tap, Ballroom, Tango, and the like.
Religious theology: He knows a lot of the Navajo tales, as taught to him by his grandfather. If his powers had not manifested, he would probably been going to college to study Native American history.
Capoeira: As a powerful compliment to his dancing skill, he has been learning the martial arts that best supports what he already knows.
Powers:
Atmokinesis: Manipulation of the weather.
At the moment he has simple control of the area around him in a 10 foot radius, this is the training he has tooled around with until arrival here. He can make gusts of wind, adjust the temperature within 50 degrees of himself and fire bolts of lightning.
Elemental resistance: As a survival aspect, he can survive areas or objects with temperatures up to 200 degrees or 100 below zero before suffering damage. He also has a natural conductivity to electricity, the wattage and amps pass through him easily and thus deal less damage.
Brief bio:
He had a good life, mom was in the army, dad was a lawyer. With her deployed, it was his dad and his mothers father who raised him on the reservation in the ways of the Navajo. Part of that Navajo tradition was the Kachina dances which he took to like a duck to water, moving with a grace on the spiritual level until one day the were celebrating with the rain dance when the storm came, and the rain came, and the flood came. A freak meteorological event that wiped out an entire neighborhood.
Or so they were told.
While dancing, in the heaving sweat of the suit, it acted like a mini-sweat lodge where he went on a vision quest. In that realm of the mind he met the spirit of the storm, White Cloud. He had honored the spirit and so the spirit gave back a gift but it would be up to him to hone his gift or else he would wipe himself away in the flood.

Active team member, preferring to work in tandem with one other student at a time, seems to have difficulty in co-ordinating with groups over 4.
Training regimen/expertise:
Emphasis on studying meteorology to increase weather manipulation capabilities.
Potential outlook:
The next generation of weather manipulators like Storm.
Best case scenario:
His weather manipulation powers could reshape the events of natural disasters and litteraly shape the world for the betterment of mankind.
Worst case scenario:
If his powers never expands to the miles radius like that of the X-men known as Storm, then he would still make an excellent firefighter or other emergency responder.

Full name: Symon Willis

Alias/Codename: Switch, The 'Stark Crusader', and formerly 'Perish' of the freelance hero group 'The Underdogs'.

Age: 20

Country of origin: Australia, Perth.

Basic appearance: Sy comes in at 6'2, with a hefty bulk to match his height, he's always been somewhat of a well built lad with a cautious approach to his own strength and size in comparison to others. Having helped out on the farm regularly with it's various labors, he has come to have quite a defined amount of muscle about him, something he kept up with regular exercise upon moving to the city in his mid teens. His hair is a dirty blonde mess, swept to the side of his head to keep it from his face, which some have said may as well of been carved from stone with it's stern features. His eyes are a cool, grayish blue, once pensive in appearance, they've grown to become a little more cold and harsh.

Costume: This is all worn above the skin tight clothing in the picture.

A light weight, modified sports armour, carried across from his early vigilante beginnings. It's capable of softening blows, deflecting knife attacks with minimal hinderance to it's wearer, however, a bullet will punch through it like paper.

Because he's a bit of an aesthetics whore.

Skills:

• He can take a hit. Having been in a fair few desperate struggles, he's learned how to fight on through the pain and fatigue.
• Cooking, because his mother wasn't going to have some good for nothing son that didn't possess one of life's most basic skills, funnily enough, he became quite adept at it.
• Hand to hand combat, you don't just go around the streets talking criminals out of what they're doing.
• Experienced with Teamwork and leadership, having fluctuated between the role of supporter and commander with his previous group.

Powers:

Teleportation: the ability to traverse a distance instantaneously without the need to move, a mere extension of his will allows him to seemingly disappear from his place of origin, only to re-appear at a point of his choosing. This only wears him out a little bit, but over use or over exertion can result in severe fatigue or even permanent harm. However Sy has yet to fully develop his conscious spatial awareness, forcing him to only being able to teleport where he can see, so as to avoid potential telefrag.

Matter teleportation: The weakest point of his repertoire, although capable of teleporting objects and other people he comes in contact with, it is something that requires intense concentration and time for him, rendering it almost useless in reactive combat scenarios. He's even had trouble teleporting with his own clothes when a fight gets overwhelming, a trait that earned him the alias of the 'Stark Crusader'.

Brief bio:

Symon grew up having a relatively normal life, although rural schooling was a pain in the ass, filled with happy enough memories of his family and childhood friends. His powers developed early on in his life when he was just 9 years of age, he was chasing a friend of his and ended up displacing himself a couple of feet whilst in full sprint, ultimately resulting in him taking a tumble as the terrain changed with his next step. This was an event that thrilled him but gave him a healthy respect for his ability early on. Although he pursued the inner workings of his abilities in the months to follow, he always remained cautious of displaying his power, for fear of being ostracized by his family and peers. In reality he used them very little whilst he lived out on the farm.

Eventually the years rolled by, his parents sadly divorced and he chose to live with his mother in the city, although the decision was an agonizing one and remains a subject of his guilt til this day. It was at high school in Perth that he became more closely entwined with his abilities, studying the more complex issues that his kind faced in the day to day world, whilst all the while becoming more open to the use of his power. Soon, much like many before him, he felt a calling of responsibility, a need to do what had to be done with his gifts for the good of the people. Garbed in dark clothing, he took to the streets. His first few nights being uneventful, spent shivering in the cold, propped up on some vista as he looked around for some time, eventually growing bored and restless before blinking away to a new vantage. He was mulling over his night time activities whilst on watch one night, the lack of sleep was starting to effect his life and even wear him down during these vigils. He had been contemplating returning home early to get a decent rest when shouts broke out in a nearby alley. His heart began thumping wildly as he turned an ear toward the source, straining to hear further confirmation of this latest development, further shouts and grunts led him to believe someone was being assaulted. Blinking around the corner he came upon the scene of three men, all seemingly quite drunk, two were brawling while another shouted insults from the sideline, waving his bottle at the two fighters.
Well, it wasn't quite the big crime he was hoping for to get himself known, but at least he could possibly do some good here. Blinking beside the man watching the affair, he strode forward, shouting at the two blokes to break it up before he got involved. Unfortunately he didn't expect the bottle to the back of the head from the recently startled bystander. Pain and dizziness overthrew his world as he stumbled forward into the pavement, quickly passing out.

Brief bio: Everyone thought Avary was a freak, but upon being accepted into this program he felt like he belonged.
