Before Nathan could make his way over to be introduced to Nicoletta, introductions had started. A couple of people seemed quite eager to get up and show their team color pride. Even Nathan and his brother stepped up, making a joke about being twins. Nathan's comment about wanting to be on team blue instead of green irked her slightly, but she quickly waved it away as the next person introduced themselves. Tis had always loved this part of camp. It was a really quick way for her to catch up on people and see who had returned from last year. Besides she always learned something new about people and as a person that took the Green Leader position very strongly she viewed this as an important thing.

"The name's Adielle Hart. Despite my obvious fashion style, I'm not Pink. Team Green all the way! And this year, we're going to crush everyone! But still love you all!" Tis's head quickly located the source of the sound in the main hall as a familiar voice introduced herself. Adielle! God she loved Adi, she was glad she had made it back to camp this year. Tis would have to catch up-

"GREEN REPRESENT!" Her thought was interrupted by a loud voice shouting out across the hall. Grinning at the words, she turned to see who it was although she already knew. The twins of course. Loud, obnoxious, and dreadfully competitive, but loyal to the end. From the looks of it they were sitting with... Raven? From team blue? She tried to puzzle out just exactly what their intentions could have been, but really with those two it was impossible. They could've been asking her if she was a witch that could turn people into frogs, or just having fun confusing her with their precise similarity. Even she still couldn't tell them apart. Though she had grown close enough with them, that they started to understand what she was saying.

Deciding she should show the newbie to team green how it was done, and fully represent the her team as leader she stood up to talk. This was going to be interesting. "Was'a due's. My nic's Tis n I'm like totally the Hollow Tubing King of this land. Also I'm like da bossman dude of da color of my native country and we are are totally kickflipping that maverick." The silenced was quite evident. No one understood a single word she said. Scratching her head for a sec said continued on, "Uh... Hey!" Pointing to the twins she gestured at them to stand up, "Frik n Frak, you mind transin' my lingo?"

Before Raven had a chance to reply to their question introductions had began. For the most part they couldn't have cared about everyone's speeches. They were boring and unoriginal. Boohoo you like video games. Congrats you played sports. Oh, you liked food, who didn't? Some guy, obviously from team red, stood up and immediately started threatening everyone. Classic. Finn glanced at his brother and snickered. They could totally take him on. The Skarsgård brothers were legendary for their ability to fight together, at least in their own mind.

At a second threat from the red hothead, the brothers couldn't hold back their laughter any longer. They burst out laughing. Both of them were laughing so hard at the completely empty threat that they missing the next couple of introductions. The only thing that caught their ears was the word green. Immediately Erik stood up and shouted at the main hall, "GREEN REPRESENT!" Finn high fived his brother before he sat down. Team green had to start showing people who was really in charge at Camp Liberty. Green team was the life of the camp, without them... well camp would suck. People like the grey team would suck the light out of everything.

Simultaneously the twins shuddered as if they had the same thought, although no words were spoken. Both of them perked up again when Tis, their leader and saviour Tis, spoke her own introduction. They had started to get the hang of her lingo, but after a year away they were a little rusty on surfer speak. When she called them out, they stood before trying to decode Tis to the masses. "Well um... she said-"

"What's up dudes. and then..." Finn paused and looked at his brother before whispering quickly to Erik. "Oh yeah my name is Tis and I am the-"

"King of the sparkly sunglasses." A smack to the back of Erik's head resounded through the hall. "Shit, right, King of surfing tubing waves. She is also the leader-"

"Of team..." Finn looked over at Tis with his head cocked to the side, "Seagreen?" Shrugging his shoulders he continued, "Green and we are like the-"

"Best." The twins looked over at each other and shrugged. "Yeah pretty much. As for introductions I'm-" Finn slugged Erik in the shoulder.

"Fucker it's my turn, you spoke first last time." Turning to the crowd he started to speak, "Like my brother was saying I'm Finn and this is Erik."

"Idiot, I'm Finn."

"Are you sure? I was pretty sure I was Finn. No?" Finn shrugged, "Well then I guess I'm Erik and this is Finn, or not. Try to figure it out if you can." The twins left the challenge up in the air before sitting back down to get their answer from Raven. Despite the confusing group of events that just occurred, their minds were set on settling the trial, soon.

Location;; The Main Hall
Interacting With;; In person: Noticing Theo (@Xilaw); Jackson (@Altered Tundra); Oliver (@foxygen); Everyone else

Prior to the Timeskip, Ghost "scolded" everyone (said loud noises), stormed out, and invited Ash and Oli to follow him (with less than 5 minutes to spare). Aisling knew very well Kitt would not leave Oli alone, so she dismissed herself from the scene by walking away, assuming both boys would follow behind. In the Lobby, they all shared a "moment".

Stay tuned for Wade Wilson's collab post: Family Plus One

~

Ash and Oliver (maybe Kitt & Ghost) walked back to the bench they had claimed earlier. Glancing at her priority for the day (Oli), she wondered if he was mentally prepared to talk in front of everyone.

Her eyes trailed through the masses, her gaze coming to a complete stop at a dark haired male with a purple flag. Letting her rather intimidating chocolate stare lock eyes with his, the Mother Wolf took the man in for a good, long moment. Most people who weren't use to Ash and her perpetual glare would be uncomfortable by this, but for this man in particular, his reasons would differ, having seen her daggers many times before. She knew this guy. That was Theodore Simmons. Whether she believed it or not was a different story, she never thought he was one to partake in Summer Camp shenanigans. Then again a lot of kids that came here at first didn't seem the type, kind of like Oliver.

Although her face was emotionless, she was baffled at the sight of an old friend. Aisling use to have a summer fling with his best friend. Yeah that was a thing, let's just say she wasn't THAT into his friend and broke things off when he gained puppy dog eyes for her.

Dean is probably still bitter as fuck about how she ended things with him, having fallen kind of head over heels for her. Oops. Love was not part of their arrangement, but when there were flings, there was the possibility of one of the partners "falling deeply in love".

It was never her.

Call her heartless, call her a bitch, but if you can't handle the terms and conditions of what was decided from the get-go, expect to be disappointed and without a doubt, emotionally damaged.

Theo was a decent man and a great conversationalist, even his girlfriend was nice to talk to (attention-y but not arrogant). I wonder if he's still dating her. Kylie's nickname for him sent Ash to gagsville (Teddy Bear), but overall the girl was a sweetheart-- maybe a bit too dependent on the comfort Theo gave her but who was Ash to judge? Everyone had their flaws, especially when it came to love. Herself included.

Her eyes broke from his when Audrey opened her insolent trap.

This was seriously getting old. The best part about this summer being Ash's last was because of "Introductions". Oh, how the she-wolf despised Orientation time. The immaturity in the room only heightened when people were given the opportunity to show off their talking skills. And sure thing, mostly everyone would run wild with this chance, going full throttle so they could boost up their sorry egos. Hopefully, with the display everyone was giving, Oliver could see that this was a camp filled with children. All of them. Anything really to assure him, camp wasn't going to be so bad. Annoying yes, but there were plenty of worthwhile times to experience too.

Everyone wanted to win, every year. It just so happens the Royal Blues won each year giving them this high horse attitude. Fuck blue.

She respected the red team leader, Audrey, for going first and starting the dominoes of everyone "one upping" each other. Audrey's team consisted of hotheads, passionate lovers, and walking ticking bombs. Take Jackson for example, he was the prime face of a red team member-- with less brain, more emotion (too much emotion). Aisling and Audrey never did like each other, but they both tolerated each other or ignored the other's existence and that was A-OK for the darkly clad woman. Ash had enough people to worry about. She didn't need to add another bitch to her plate.

Then followed the Beauchamp twins. She didn't mind those two, not at all. Nicholas taught her some martial arts and Nate hung out with her occasionally while she was with his twin. They were quite the charmers, but definitely not her type. Aye, there Nate goes... inflating the Blue team's egos. Way to go buddy.

The next to the batting plate was the attractive, way too outgoing, Emilie Parker. A fun girl, but way in over her head. This summer will surely be an interesting one with her around. Who knows? Maybe they could continue where they left off last year.

The next batch of individuals were a blur to Ash since she wasn't paying much attention to them: the arrogant Mathius, Gibberish Tis, Tweedle Dee (Erik) & Tweedle Dum (Finn). She had no interest in listening to the same uninteresting people each year. All anyone brought to the table was their pride and that got boring, real quick. Well, minus the kinder souls in the Camp, which wasn't many.

But of course, the most entertaining introductions was from Jackson Drake, who brought dazed Aisling back to the world, making her instinctively listen to him intently. As he stood on his chair, tall in the air like he was the King of the jungle (and yes, Camp was one hell of a jungle), the boy yelled his heart out. By now, Mr. Hill or any camp leaders or counselors for that matter learned to just leave Jackson be when he introduced himself, which was for the best. Her eyes trailed down his body and caught sight of his cut, bruised, and bloody hands.

However, he swiftly brought her attention back to his face. His words slipping into her mind and settling in for her to think about.

Subconsciously her hand covered her lips when the blonde boy looked down at her and professed his love in front of the entire camp. Bewildered but her face not revealing anything she truly was feeling, Ash never looked away from him, interested in his every word and action. The best poker face award should go to her, having plenty of years of learning how to hide her emotions behind a mask. Not expecting the sudden dance show, the stoic woman gave a little chuckle, even if it was light and the only people near her could hear it.

Standing up, she looked at the crowd, stretched, and yawned, "That's a good intro for me. Just got to add that I'm a Grey Wolf and this is my last year." Conveniently, Jackson said both her nickname and full name, so she didn't have to really say much more after his display. Instead she turned to the Camp Leader and informed him about the bleeding hands of the hothead, "I'll be taking him to disinfect his wounds, Mr. Hill."

Looking down at Oliver, the Mother Wolf serenely smiled, "I'll be back. Don't be afraid to show some of your colors. I believe in you, Oliver."

Putting her hands in her jean pockets, she gestured with her head for the winky face boy to follow her to the medical office. Not waiting up for him, she exited the Mess Hall. Thank god.

Location;; The Main Hall
Interacting With;; Everyone in the room, Kitt by text (@flightless-angel-castiel), Text to Nicholas and noticing Nate (@HushedWhispers), Holden (@HalfOfLancelot)

So much was happening in the Main Hall and all the small, blonde girl could think about now was the growling in her stomach. Her belly was yelling at her! Did she forget to eat breakfast? Once intros were done, she would need to get food before she went on a parade with Jess or Adi or whoever steals her once things wrapped up. She prayed to some higher power that they wouldn't grab her until she ate a granola bar or something to hold her over until lunch. Nessa definitely needed to eat before she had some Vitamin D to keep her happy and in control of her feelings.

Her eyes glanced over the crowd and saw Kitt by the Wolf Pack. She could go over there and give him a hug but it seemed rather hostile in that general area. In time, Kitt stalked Ash and the new kid out of the Main Hall briefly. Checking her phone, the hungry blonde didn't realize she had received a couple of texts. One from Kitt and one from Nicholas. Not in the mood to talk in riddles, primarily because her stomach wanted a delicious burger or something, she messaged them back, quietly keeping to herself.

To: Kittkat
You know the new pup? I just realized I never did fully introduce myself to him. Maybe later we can see him together? I'd love to make a new friend.

To: Brother Bear
Oh I'm fine! Yeah that sounds great! Let me know where you're at when the time comes<3.

The girl sighed to herself, she didn't want him to worry about her. Her damn teenage emotions and roaring stomach made people worry! Get it together, Ness. She internally scolded herself. Her eyes halted at the sight of Nicholas sitting with Nate...

Why were they both so handsome? Nate hated her, without a doubt. Avoiding all eye contact in that general direction, Nessa rested her forehead on the table and waited... god, she hated waiting.

Listening to the many voices in the room, she heard two girls bickering rather angrily. Words like ew, shit, shut the hell up, hate you, bullshit, and etc. How annoying. Why was everyone getting in fights today? Verbal or physical it was so exhausting to be near. Don't worry, her bully background story didn't trigger any of her fears. She was in need of food to the point that she didn't want to hear the childish banter in the room (and it had nothing to do with her, so that was always a good thing). Nessa didn't really care that everyone was being extremely prideful during their intros. This is how things were at camp. There was no harm in competitiveness, even if some people took the competition way too seriously.

There was a moment of silence.

Bringing her head back up, her eyes scanned the masses once more and took notice of one of the Grey Wolves beaming his eyes at a woman with an avenger's shirt. That was Eli and he 'enjoyed having a good time'. Is that how she looks like when she stares at Nate? Nessa wouldn't know... sure, Eli had a stoic expression but his eyes said it all.

The room had so many people that needed to go... she pouted to herself. I WILL NEVER GET TO EAT.

Out of a mental panic, she hopped up from her seat. When all eyes were on her, the adorable girl muttered, "Uh..." She wasn't ready for this. Take a deep breath in and just say your intro (this was after Ariel, Shawn, Raven, and Theo, mind you).

With a nervous yet bright smile, Nessa projected her voice so mostly everyone could hear her, but not a yell necessarily, "I'm... Nessarose! Most people call me Nessa, Ness, or even Kip because my last name is Kipling!" Scratching her head, obviously embarrassed to talk in front of the entire camp (very unlike her diva team), she cleared her throat and continued, all the while fumbling with her fingers, "I do wish you all the best of luck! And um, I like to write mostly." Her chestnut orbs met with Nate's and as much as she wanted to stare at him longer, her subconscious pulled her stare away from him near immediately, "Thank you all! I have no doubt this will be another great year at Liberty." Bringing her gaze to look down at the silent man that had been sitting beside her, the exuberant girl chirped, "Now it's time to introduce HOLDEN!"

Nessarose tugged her quiet friend and even picked up his hand to wave at everyone, "Holden says hi everyone." Letting go of him, she crossed her arms and gave him a stare that read: Just get it over with.

Plus, once Holden was done, she was going to try and escape the Main Hall to eat something.

Kill me now. Somebody, please. Hey Jackson, why don't you hit me and take my consciousness right quick? Please, I'm begging you. I'm so not dealing with you people right now. Calm. Calm. Calm. Okay, I'm good. Great. Awesome. Excellenté. Ariel couldn't handle all of the commotion at the moment. It was to much. Addy, Eli's step sister, came over their way and all hell broke lose. There were words going around everywhere, Ash telling Jackson that there was no way that he would get a chance with her, people running around here and there. The large crowd surrounding her, she couldn't help but start to feel claustrophobic. And who else to come over at a time like this except for the one and only Kitt. He was sasy, small, and worst of all, a pink. She kept calm, trying to bite her tongue in order to keep her mouth shut. She took a deep breath, hardly noticeable by the rest. With everything going on, Ariel lashed out at the Pink Member, possibly not meaning to.

"Alton, why the hell are you here? Mind leaving? Mind not asking questions?" Her eyes were fierce, her face stern as her arms were folded across her chest. Realizing what all she had just said, she hear the famous twins voice from across the room, a half smile forming on her face. "Sorry Kitt. But no, seriously, why are you in the Pack's territory?" She didn't wait for him to respond, of course, another rude gesture, but hey, she wanted to go ahead and get this over with. She climbed up and stood on one of the tables. She clapped her hands three times, getting everyones attention.

"Ariel Gray here loves! Prepare for Gray to whoop your asses! Not me, Gray, but my team, Gray!" Realizing how stupid that sounded, her voice got way smaller. "You know what? Nevermind! Just ignore this announcment of nothingness! Sound good?" She gave a small awkward thumbs up to the crowd.

"I do not always touch my hair. I just like to make sure I'm presentable, thank you very much." As Fauna reached out a hand to mess up his wonderful piece of perfection, he tried to swat her away, but not before the damage was done. He ran his fingers through it, trying to get it back into place. It was at that moment that Tess stood up, and Green was made present. "'Ey now, Surf Queen. We got ya. The people who don't understand you don't matter." He couldn't help but laugh at Erick and Fin, however. Green, was, like most of the teams, one really random family. Given the fact that they were and are more random than most. Even Adielle was here, announcing her killer fashion choices. It was his time to stand, right after a really weird girl from Gray made her presence known.

"Life forms, may I have you attention, please! Greens one and only fabulous geek present. Names Shawn by the way. Think what you want, but Green's already winning by a long shot."

THEODORE SIMMONS

Location; Camp Ground -> Lake -> Camp Ground -> Main Hall

Interacting With: Noticing Audrey, Nicholas, Nathan @HushedWhispers, Alex@reiko, Sunny @HalfofLancelot, Emilie, Mathius @Lockerz, Jackson@Altered Tundra and Aisling @lovely complex

Besides the various somber stares at the young man, none of his teammates seem to have noticed him waving the flag or were to embarrassed to approach him which made him think whether that was actually a thing or he just got ripped off. Taking a good look at the people around him, none of which were holding a flag, he quickly came to a conclusion - "Yup. I've been duped". Slightly embarrassed and disappointed, he slowly pulled his waving arm down to his thighs, with the flag still in his hand only to fold it around the stick immediately after as to avoid further awkwardness.

It didn't take long before the long awaited event was due - the introductions. Theo found a free spot to sit down in silence and watch the ceremony. Well, perhaps ceremony is not a fitting label as it implies something prestigious and well-thought-out. In comparison, Theo was in a room full of sweaty teenagers with the stench from the heat being nearly visible and if there's anything to break the immersion of this being a glorious formality it must be the non-stop chit chat coming from all around the room, echoing off the walls and enchancing the feel of not a scene fitting an inauguration of the new president but a stinky school cafeteria full of delinquents. Sitting there collecting his thoughts and being unsure of how the procedure goes, Theo decided to wait for the older members to go first. This might even be a good opportunity to see who'd be a decent friendship candidate he considered while browsing through the masses. Surely of all the hundreds of teenagers some of them have something in common with Theodore.

As he thought about this, the first people finally stood up and he hastely turned his attention towards them. First who dared to say something about themselves in front of a huge crowd was a girl who claimed to be leading the red team. She seemed alright. Cute. Some of her interests did match Theo's though for the most part he wasn't too caught up in technology as in his mind this meant estrangement from the nature and reality we live in and that was a commodity he was not ready to sacrifice. Surely, Theo used cell phones and watched TV but he was not the kind to mindlessly surf the internet and social media for hours wasting the precious time that he had. He would much rather use the time to hang out with his two favorite people instead, or at the very least enjoy a good day on it's own. If the weather was not in his favor then he would settle for an in-door hang out with the same people either playing video games or watching movies and TV shows. Game of Thrones in particular is one show that kept him busy thinking about it all weekend. He'd have Kylie over every Sunday to watch it together in his room.
Following the brunette, two twins stood up one after the other using the same pattern of introduction, more or less. Theo recognized one of them from the small wooden pier where he saw him about half an hour earlier getting touchy feely with another guy. Well, technically he recognized both of them since they look alike and he wasn't sure which one is which.
Then... he overheard two girls throwing tantrums at each other, no doubt others did as well yet no one said anything. Figures. This amount of hormones bottling up in a room like this can't go without fireworks. Smack. The blunt sound echoed around the room like the one you hear after beating a bug with a slipper. People trying to hold their grinning to a minimum as most knew what was happening from what Theo could gather. Nonetheless, the two girls caught in a clinch over some personal bullshit were too embroiled in it to notice the rest of their peers attempts to hold in their laughter. Eventually the brunette stormed off holding some dude's hand who was sitting beside her and Theo noticed an eerie grin on the other girl's face. Clearly she was entertained just as much as the public around them.

Next up was a massive blonde guy stood up as he furiously propelled himself up off of a table he was sitting at. "Aren't you a little bundle of joy." - Theo processed the tall fellow's words in his mind. Theo was never fond of arrogant douchebags and this guy was the walking embodiment of just that. A meathead who's sole goal in life is to bully others. It doesn't take long to recognize them and once you do you tend to notice them everywhere you go. Might be nature's way of keeping track of danger when you're out in the wild because this Mathius guy looked like the only veggies he enjoyed were the ones he gave fat kids at lunch break.

Suddenly a blonde popped out of the mass and contributed with her summarized background. It was the girl he saw earlier exchanging slurs with some other guy. Running down on the experience he's had so far in the past 2 hours since he was here Theo realized this place was a drama-infested hell hole with male and female violence, sexual predators and bullies. Only one institution in the world could be compared with this reality and that was prison. Given, in prisons the guards actually have a role. Theo is yet to see the adults handle anything around here. Maybe his fear of strict rules was exaggerated. A beer now and then doesn't seem that improbable anymore.

And just like clockwork, the drama continues. The guy he just mentioned in his mind suddenly stood up and yelled out his name for the world to hear. The sound piercing through Theo's ear drums and resonating in his brain, a name he will surely remember - Jackson. No doubt this guy is hyperactive... and a future wife-beater. And right in the middle of his judgement rampage Theo backtracked. Perhaps there's more to him than meets the eye? Who knows what the story is behind that scene he walked into. Granted a guy should never hit a girl, there are exceptions to the rule. Maybe she's the aggressive one and hit him before and he's merely protecting himself. But that can't be it, by the time he swung his fist the poor girl had already ducked under her arms and it didn't seem like he was going to stop.

As he analyzed the show that occurred little over 30 minutes ago, the hothead soon caught Theo's attention again as he pointed his finger towards a familiar face. "Oh shit." - Theo quickly sat upright in his chair taking a better look at the girl. "Good thing this guy's a loudmouth since I totally forgot her name. Ashley." - as he misheard it. Well this was certainly an unexpected surprise. Of all the people he had met in his life time, the girl he expected the least to find in a place like this was Ash. Surely he had to let his friend know about this discovery. He quickly pulled out his phone and dialled his best friend trying to shy away from her sight behind the person sitting next to him, peeking out again every few moments almost as if to make sure he's seeing this right. The ringing stopped and Theo immidiately opened:

"Hey man. Remember that chick we met last year during our trip out to Brentwood Heights to a party?" - hearing nothing on the other end of the line Theo clarified: "The one wearing leather jacket to a pool party in 100 degrees."
"The 32C cup?"
"What? No. I don't know." - Theo was taken aback by a weird follow up and continued: "Anyway, she's here."
"Bro, stay away from that nutjob."

A quick flashback to the time Dean was telling Theo about how crazy this girl was combined with his answer made him laugh barely keeping his volume under the radar of the adult overseers. "Relax, man. I'm not talking to her. But you never really said what happened between you two, though. She was cool." - Theo further inquired with a looming question he finally gotten the chance to ask.
"Well you know I'm not the guy that gets tied down, bruh." - Dean was unconvincing with the same old boring answer he always gave.
"You sure about that? 'Cause it was pretty suspicious when you bought her darts only 'cause she said she liked them. You don't usually get out of your way for that kinda stuff."
Dean now sounding a little ticked off straightened up as he explained further: "Okay pansy, listen up. You know my sex life is like golf - tryin' to hit that hole in one." The comparison could not leave Theodore indifferent as the smile on his face again tensed up the skin around his lips near the point of bursting.
"And you, my man, are the caddy so I hope you come back to civilization soon so we can resume the course." - Dean added now with a more cheerful tone.
"And what does that make Kylie?"
"She's the golf cart." - Theo's friend continued almost immediately to Theo's complete excitement, tears condensing in his eye sockets as he barely makes it through without making a noise.
"But seriously though, that girl is off the charts on the hot/crazy scale. Stay away." - Dean announced in a more genuine manner. With a smile on his face and giggling as he hears his friend talk Theo agreed: "Alright alright. You made your point. I'll talk to you later."
"Alright pansy, make me proud and lay something."
"Shut up." - the brunette boy conveyed though his smile as he hung up.

Being able to hear Dean's voice this far away was definitely a great deal for Theo as it meant he might pull through this mess he put himself in after all. The doubts he developed from earlier now cleared out as Dean's good humor forced through the clouds of depressing shit like sun beams after a rainy day. By the time he had finished his conversation and attempted to take another glance at the girl he and his best friend just talked about she was gone, and so was Jackson. He missed her introduction completely being too caught up in another fun chat with Dean. But it didn't matter. He wasn't going to go over there and talk to her, anyway. Not after all the crap Dean mentioned about her. Theo wasn't usually a judgemental person but one explanation behind his caution also lies in the fact that this girl despite being seemingly normal when they spoke on several occasions in the past had a pair of piercing brown eyes that gave Theo shivers at times. Something about her always seemed off. Then again she never really gave him a reason to doubt her, it was just these physical features and her posture that was throwing him off. I mean, what sane person wears leather jacket to a pool party?

Getting caught up deep in thought yet again Theo missed a bunch of other people after him so he finally snapped out of it only to stand up instinctively without thinking it through, luckily immediately after someone had just finished, and freestyled his introduction: "I'm Theodore Simmons and I've been assigned to the purple team."- he exclaimed and then cracked a familiar smile - "You'll find me outside most of the time so if you do see me, feel free to say hello."
He softly lowered himself back into his chair with one last glance thrown towards an empty seat where Ash was sitting just to make sure whether she knew he, too, was here.

Interacting With; Damn Near Everyone; Special Shouts to Fauna @foxygen

'Fuck my life. I love my life. Fuck my life. I love my life. Fuck my life.'

If there was one word that came to mind not just describing the green people she had been so...quickly introduced to, but also the other campers that she was slowly learning about through eavesdropped conversations and self introductions...the word would be spirited. How else could she describe some of the more eccentricities that she was observing? Sure, eccentric was a word but that often came with such negative connotations and at present Nicoletta wasn't quite sure if there was anything overtly negative about the people that had spoken to her or who had been the first to introduce themselves. Well, sure Fauna was sitting incredibly close to her...but that was not at all a negative thing in Nicoletta's mind, despite it having the side effect of Nicoletta reddening up more than a plump tomato about to cut for the Soriano's famous sauce.

Being shown off like she was a special entry in a museum didn't even bother her all that much. It was weird, that was for certain, but she was more than willing to let it slide considering the source. And it really amounted to nothing in the end; the one Fauna was motioning to...Nathan was it? well whoever it was never completed the journey to introduce himself to Nicoletta instead taking the moment to introduce himself in a more literal sense right there along with his twin.

In a moment, the blush of being close to a girl she wanted desperately not to embarrass herself in front of vanished only to be replaced by a stunned expression of doubt and shock. They had to introduce themselves? Like to the entire hall? Like to people? It was one thing when it was just Shawn, and he was the one that did the introduction in that case; Boss Tis and Fauna filed in after that. Nicoletta hadn't taken the initiative in that scenario and knowing that she'd have to speak up about a topic she was somehow unable to really discuss at length was starting to really worry her.

How the hell was she supposed to introduce herself when the only things she knew about herself anymore was her name, birthday, and her shoe size?

The ones that went first seemed used to this whole thing, and Nicoletta took note that there was some sort of...pride in their teams. Was that normal? Was she supposed to treat the Green Team like she was rooting for Serena Williams? Or like she was rooting for Italy at the Olympics? The first girl had hobbies. Interests. A member of the red team spoke more like someone making a threat than an introduction. Another red even had the balls to do something as embarrassing as admitting to what sounded like a crush.

These people were not eccentric. That's why Nicoletta thought that they had to be...spirited.

The blush returned for a moment when another green team member, this one new to Nicoletta's eyes, spoke up. She said something about fashion and pink but really Nicoletta couldn't stop staring at her face. It was, well, pretty. She knew very little about the other teams outside of what she was hearing now (that being pride and lots of shouting?) but she did know that between Fauna and this...was it Adielle? Like the singer but Adi? Between Fauna and Adielle it was clear to Nicoletta that green team had the prettiest faces. Or at least the top two.

Before Nicoletta could ask questions as to whether or not these were mandatory, Boss Tis had already gone and whooped out her intro in what Nico was sure had to be a foreign language. A different set of twins followed after her and even Shawn got in on the action. Then came a silence after a purple guy mentioned the outdoors. Someone had to go, right? Were there eyes on her? Was it her turn? WERE THERE EVEN TURNS? It wasn't as if they were in a big circle and tossing a ball around. People just seemed to go when there was a gap.

Through the silence Nicoletta stood from her seat. Only one chance to make a first impression, right? Shooting a quick look to Fauna, perhaps for confidence or perhaps to silently hope the girl was going to go first, Nicoletta looked out at the sea of bodies. If they wanted an intro...she knew just what to say so that they'd remember her and want to be friends. First...first she cleared her throat. And then she spoke.

"Hello there, everyone. My name's Nicoletta Tiziana Soriano and I was born in the great country of Italy. If any of you live in or near Burbank or the greater L.A. area you might know the name Soriano's, or even if you've looked at photos of celebrities you might know the name, but before you ask, yes my family owns a popular Italian restaurant. No that doesn't mean I know how to cook. This is my first time here at this place and it's definitely unlike any sort of...thing I've ever been to. I like tennis and I've got a bag full of sweets to share with a sweetie. And speaking of sweeties, I think I might have a thing for faces which sounds weird I know but I look at Fauna here and I'm just trying to think of some way to ask her to whatever counts as, like, a dating type of camp activity. And I look at you," And Nicoletta would then point at Adi, "And I think the same thing, and it's probably because both of you have faces that I really just want to...gaze into under the stars. But don't let that stop any of you from coming over and saying 'what's up'. I mean, this is a summer camp, right? What happens here stays here or at least travels home with Snapchats after dark, right? Anyway, the name is Nicoletta Soriano, damn happy to be here and repping the green team."

And then of course everyone applauded, her back was given pats, and she even got a victory kiss and all of Camp Liberty spoke of the greatest intro in the history of Camp Liberty intros.

And of course that was all in her head.

Nicoletta did stand up and she did clear her throat but rather than a rousing speech what came out was...

"Uhm...yeah...uh...I...um...Nico...Nicoletta Soriano...um...I...um...green team...h...hi."

Short. Babbling. Soft spoken. Now embarrassed, and wearing it in her face, Nicoletta hurriedly fell back onto her chair only to bury her head in her hands. A career in public speaking was not in the cards.

'You say that I'm kinda difficult
But it's always someone else's fault
Got you wrapped around my finger, babe
You can count on me to misbehave
Primadonna girl

I know I've got a big ego
I really don't know why it's such a big deal though'

Hana rolled her eyes when she heard her phone go off yet again, moments after the rather...colorful interaction with the tweaking twerkster. She raised her index finger to Pippa, who had yet to answer Hana's question, though that was probably for the better; the last thing Hana needed was for people to make weird assumptions about things. Appearances being what they are and all. Back inside the cabin for a moment, Hana read the response from Nessa and nearly broke her phone as she did so.

What was with this girl and her strange manner of texting. Talking was one thing, some people just couldn't help themselves in that regard, but Hana had been over this with Nessa countless times. There was an art to texting. Hana was Michelangelo. Nessa was Jackson Pollock, splattering things on the canvas and calling it art. The canvas was the text message and the splatter was Nessa's words. Still, with a huff, Hana lifted Nessa's pillow and put the pill on the bed proper, hiding them again with the pillow. Now if someone discovered them, it was out of Hana's hands. And Nessa wouldn't rat out. Hana had her airy head wrapped so tightly around her finger it was a wonder it hadn't lost all blood flow.

With the delivery finished, Hana bid farewell to Pippa and decided the best course of action was not to go searching for Nessa but instead to bet on a sure thing. Kitt was on the grounds, somewhere in the main hall, and that's where Hana would go; it was where she was before she decided she'd just as soon go jumping in mud than stick around the gaggle of grays that were around or the other unsavory sorts that wished they could hang with someone like her.

The trek back to the main hall was rather uneventful, save for what sounded like...something on the wind, but Hana paid it no mind. Whatever it was it was probably something stupid.

When Hana opened the doors to the main hall it was during introductions. The stupid blonde girl with the stupid words that made no sense was talking. Yawn. Then Goofus and Gallant did an Abbot and Costello. Dull. Yawn. Yawn. Yawn. Her eyes scanned around for Kitt, for signs of someone with some honest to goodness realness to them. After some mumbling grunge reject failed to make an impression and sat back down with the freaky green kids, Hana rolled her eyes and took the initiative.

"Oh my God, no one cares about your stupid competitions or your team colors. You people just wish you could associate with the Queens of Libery but it's not my fault most of you wouldn't know style and sex appeal if it came up and slapped you in your pock marked faces. Those of you who know who I am already know all you need to about me, and those that don't chances are you're not worth my time anyway or else you'd be in pink. Oh, and by the way, if you're in the gray team, don't talk to me. I'd hate to catch a case of the pathetics. Hana Park, bitches."

Hana so wished she had brought her sunglasses to the hall because it would have been the perfect time to lift them up all smug like. Instead with her little intro out of the way she headed towards wherever someone she liked was hanging around.

Before the Timeskip…

Ghost didn’t have time to react with how quick shit happened. Adielle, Alton, Sunny, Jackson, Elijah & Co. all blended into one big ball of rage as the scene went down faster than that time he got a serious case of food poisoning. Adielle came galloping in, shrieking at Jackson in her annoying, high-pitched voice that could probably make a dog’s ears bleed. Her insults didn’t seem all bad, but the two seemed to be heating up anyway, though the Red Team member seemed to get hotter much much faster, as he swung his arm back in preparation to punch the annoying Green. Alex would’ve gotten up and punched Jackson right in the face, if it weren’t for Eli doing something useful for once and blocking the blow with his elbow, and Sunny then bouncing in, feeling it was his duty to take a picture of the damned scene. Along with Sunny came possibly the most annoying out of Pink - Alton. He would’ve slapped him if it weren’t for the fact he was raised not to hit little girls. Ash then worked her magic to get “Jackson the Hothead” out of the picture, if not before a few prompt words of ‘fuck’, ‘shit’, and various other things like that. And, just like that, it began to quieten down as quickly as it started. Ghost’s female counterpart (at least by name) walked in, dragging Sunny away, and then they were left with just the Greys and “Kitt”. Ash decided the best thing to do was give everyone a pep talk, which Alex knew by common sense anyway, and then tend to Oliver, who was probably a little unnerved by the whole ordeal. This didn’t matter to Ghost, though, not right now, at least. He was far too pissed to give a damn. Instead, he stood up, slamming his hands on the table.

“YOU’RE ALL FUCKING IDIOTS!” He screamed, to anyone and everyone in the Main Hall. “ALL OF YOU! DON’T TRY AND FUCKING PULL ANY MORE SHIT LIKE THAT THIS SUMMER, OTHERWISE I’LL BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF EVERY ONE OF YOU!” Regret instantly started to kick in as he stormed off, shoving people out of the way and speeding to the lobby. He plonked himself on a chair at the side of the room, obscured by the shadows, pulling out his phone and texting the only person he knew could calm him down. His hands quivered as he typed.

To: Ash
Come find me. Bring Oliver with you if you want.

He sighed, burying his face in his hands as he waited for a reply, his phone balancing on the wooden armrest whilst he sat with one leg crossed over the other. Boy, was he off to a bad start.

God dammit, Ghost.

Truly, he didn’t know how to clean up messes. With a sigh, Aisling looked at all the eyes that stared at the Grey area and apologized in the only way she knew how, “Carry on with your lives. Show’s over.

While Kitt had a mouth that didn’t know when to shut up sometimes (read as: most times), he wasn’t a dumb kid either. So, when Ghost, what kind of nickname is Ghost anyway?, decided to add to the previous screaming, he simply looked around with pursed lips, not only to catch everyone else’s reaction to the sudden explosion from someone who was nicknamed Ghost for a reason, but to avoid eye contact too. Eye contact with angry people didn’t usually end well, Kitt knew that little tidbit from personal experience. When Aisling let out a sigh, his blue eyes moved to her, and at her words, his grin returned. “A show, indeed!” he nodded, his tone of voice not giving away whether he enjoyed the show or not. Majority of people in this room would agree he enjoyed it. Scratch that, everyone certainly would. He hadn’t, but what did he care what these fashion faux pas losers thought? (He might have cared a little, but he wasn’t going to outright say so at this very moment... or any future moments. While he was an honest little thing, he did lie sometimes, and it was usually when his more “soft” emotions were involved.) He side-eyed Adielle when she approached Oliver, almost like he was ready to step in if the little pup looked too nervous, though there was another thing he’d scoff at and deny if it was ever brought to his attention. He just met the pup... even if Olly Olly Oxen Free gave off this vibe that made just about anyone want to shield him, Kitt would still deny the growing urge inside of himself. He’d say that was the Mama Wolf’s job, not the Queen’s job. He was simply here to observe and poke.

Oliver had registered that Kitt was being kind to him, but that didn’t mean he felt particularly inclined to return the favor. In fact, he scowled somewhat at the shorter boy when he came to offer his help and suggested that he just ‘breathe,’ like it was such a simple feat to calm down. Unnerved by the generosity and disgruntled at what he falsely recognized as patronizing behavior, Oliver gave Kitt the cold shoulder, turning instead closer to Ash like she was some cover of safety. Only half-true - it’s not like she was some wartime hideout, but she had indeed made herself something of a comfort item for the newest grey member. He was too engaged with said comfort to watch the interaction between his own team member and a certain greener, but the latter approached him anyway, and he was almost inclined to throw his own punch towards her to match Jackson’s rotten attitude. Oli wasn’t nearly that courageous. He nodded slowly at her gentle words, barely taking them in but acknowledging their intent, and then - oh, shit. She’s Eli’s stepsister. He straightened up slightly, perceiving her in a more positive light and sweeter disposition, and nodded pleasantly. “Yes, well -”

...and there was Ghost. He shot the leader a distasteful look, his eyes seething; God knows why he was able to muster up anger now, when yelling had occurred before and he reacted with absolutely nothing. He was only able to look that upset for half of a moment, though, before he softened, watching Ghost disappear through the crowd with an increasingly fast pace. Ash’s recovery of the situation was met with even more cool eyes from Oliver, and he breathed out slowly, praying that was the end of it. He had his eyes set on the infirmary, just visible out of the corner of his eye, although he wasn’t sure if it’d be a calmer environment to be in. Apparently, it wasn’t. Kitt was quick to pipe up again, agreeing with Ash in what Oli thought to be a sarcastic tone. Sure, it could just be the pink teamer’s natural tone of voice, but Oliver insisted that it was some sort of high horse Kitt was constantly riding. He gave an obvious show of disgust, rolling his eyes and bowing his head whilst shoving his hands in his pockets. There went the page with Ash’s number and Sunny’s photo, which, when it developed, would most likely not be a very pretty sight.

Knowing well enough Kitt wasn’t the type to let Mama Wolf and Little Pup go off and do their own thing, an inquisitive kid he was, Ash ignored answering their “where” questions and just walked beside her teammate in silence. The Pinkie could follow behind if he wanted to, she really could careless and knew he probably would regardless of what she preferred. Nodding in acknowledgment to Oliver's ‘thank you’, the sharp eyed woman kept silent, strolling to and out the archway that led to the entrance lobby. There wasn’t much time to go on a wild adventure, so Ash simply brought them to the lobby, which usually had no one, since most campers went straight to the Mess Hall or the Media Room. Anticlimactic, she knows, but timing was piss poor due to the random actions of everyone else. If she could, the brunette would bring Oli (reluctantly Kitt) to one of her favorite spots on the camp grounds. Due to circumstances, she would leave that for another time.

The short walk was silent but oddly refreshing since they weren’t surrounded by the entirety of Camp Liberty. With her soft yet stern voice, the Mother Wolf gently nudged Oli lovingly, “You’ll get used to it. Before you know it, you’ll laugh at the chaos. First days are always overwhelming. Don’t be ashamed of your feelings.” Her voice came to a halt as she thought about a distant memory. “My first day... I may have sent a girl home crying. I suppose that’s where we’re different.” Calm and composed, Aisling stared at the glass doors of the entrance thinking about the many days she spent here at Camp Liberty. If she wasn’t mistaken, she could see Tate and Luisa far off from the distance. Of course, they could be entirely different people completely, since it was quite a ways away and she wasn’t going to lie, this whole Jackson and Adielle thing made her exhausted. The older woman was primarily talking to Oliver, but Kitt was free to listen (and add his two cents in) if he wanted to. The main things that she didn't like about the Pinkie was: he talked too damn much for his own good, he absolutely adored a shallow bitch (Hana), and he was in Pink. God, she hated pink.

Oliver didn’t want to laugh at the chaos. He stared at the ground, kicking his feet at dust every once in a while as they walked. While her words were relatively comforting and the nonverbal cues she gave him apparently affectionate (weird - with anyone else he might have freaked out at the smallest physical touch), Oli wasn’t absorbing any of it very well. First days weren’t the only thing overwhelming for him. So were second days, and third days, and fourth days, and all the way to last days - every single day warranted a new experience, and that could potentially be one worthy of Oli’s easily-provoked internal “panic button.” Even when Ash paused he felt slightly nervous, turning his head toward her again to gauge what this stop was for. Seemed she was just reminiscing. The brief story was more surprising, and he avoided her eyes, made easier by the fact that she was simply staring straight ahead. Curiously, he followed her gaze and his own landed on two figures in the distance, although he did not care enough now to come up with backstories and fantasy personalities as he was to do usually. In fact, he felt another presence that he hadn’t realized came along until now (evidently his observation skills were waning), and that made him want to shut up.

Of course Kitt followed. It had been obvious he would. Even he wanted to leave the lingering tension in the room, too. Maybe I need a breather too. Even greatness needs breaks, damnit. he thought as he walked on the pup’s other side. If the damn kid with prettier blue eyes wasn't a few inches taller than him, he would have shot Mama Wolf a teasing grin, but alas, his fate was to be shorter than even the new pup. Getting out of the room did feel a bit better; no one but them were in the lobby. While Kitt had never been bothered by a crowd, hello, attention whore, seesh, he could appreciate the short breather after those tensions. If he hadn’t been so close, he probably wouldn’t be as bothered, but as previously thought, he didn’t like to be near actual yelling and fighting. At first, his eyes were not on Aisling as she started her story, instead staring through the glass, to the outside. However, when he heard she made a girl cry, not only cry, but it made her go home, his head snapped to her. “Wow, Mama Wolf!” he began, that teasing grin he wanted to send her way earlier finally happening, followed by a ‘tsk’ing noise occurring twice, “Didn’t think you were the type! I’m a little disappointed, I thought you were oh-so sweet." even though the words could have been taken as biting, sarcastic, harsh, what have you, they were said with no malice, instead almost something akin to a friend teasing a friend, even though Kitt thought of Mama Wolf as not his friend at all.

Honestly, the biggest reason Kitt had never quite gotten along with Ash before was because of Hana. Kitt knew he was a person with his own thoughts, his own actions to make and perform, yet he also stuck to Hana’s side quite often, and sometimes, her words did cloud his own judgement of others. Not that he saw it as such, and probably wouldn’t unless someone ever pointed it out. Another reason was, of course, the different team colors. Pink was the best, every other team just had yet to realize that. To be honest, this was the longest he had spent with Aisling, and yes, Oliver was the reason for that. Kitt did find the new pup cute beyond belief and he didn’t easily walk away from things so cute... and in need of fashion help. He was trying to keep his blue eyes from eyeing both of their outfits, though it was quite hard. Control yourself, you don’t want to offend the little pup on his first day and your first time meeting him, a surprisingly thoughtful statement to pass through his head, because fashion was his thing, but a true statement all the same.

Oliver glared at Kitt immediately, cutting out of his morose demeanor and moving briskly on to a more scornful one. His voice was louder than Ash’s, and that was enough to provoke Oli, so he immediately didn’t like the fact that the pink teamer followed along like a lost stray. The newbie almost suspected that Kitt was teasing Ash, and he was preparing to jump to her defense when he replayed the words and realized they were spoken in a fairly gregarious manner. Coming to his senses, Oliver blinked at Kitt, looking as if he was clearing angered smoke from his gaze. It did help him see how utterly adorable the little third wheel looked, what with his wide eyes disproportionate to his little, pale-and-freckled face, but Oli wasn’t quite so hedonistic that it cured his perception of the boy. Instead, he looked neutrally down at their guest, one eyebrow slowly raising like he was fixing his judgments just as they spoke.

Without meeting their gaze, the Mother wolf gestured toward the non-Grey member, “Kitt’s alright. He’s annoying and loves to talk a lot, but he’s manageable. I mean, you’re the main reason he even said hi to us.” Not being an idiot, the brunette couldn’t help but smile, obviously having a sense of Kitt’s intentions. Due to the “incident”, she couldn’t point it out in front of the riot of people but now seemed to be a perfectly good time to say what she pleased.. Private, peaceful, and with Oliver right there by her side.

The dark beauty knew the small pink member took a liking to Oliver, to what extent... not necessarily. There wasn’t enough time to watch his expressions, actions, or inflections, especially since, as of this morning, Oliver became her main priority and the main person she’s been paying attention to. Kitt’s interest was enough for him to approach the Wolf Pack, so that was sufficient information for her to assume he was curious about Oliver.

Who wouldn’t be? She found the new kid to be absolutely precious herself and wanted to protect him, ultimately giving him a reason to want to stay. Oddly enough, Aisling was already attached to Oliver, and that’s not something that happens often with her.

Kitt knew he looked surprised at Aisling’s words. Almost everyone on the other teams that had known him for the two previous years he had attended would not say he was alright; though, some people couldn’t tolerate a sassy loud mouth, which Kitt would totally admit to being. Maybe he missed something in Ash when he had the short communications with her before. After all, this was the first time he was really standing around and talking to her. He felt an actual smile twitch at his lips before he pressed his lips together and stopped it. Hana was going to skin him alive if she found out he was actually not minding being in Mama Wolf’s presence. Actually, no, she would probably go after his clothes with a pair of scissors, and that was so much worse. He would rather be skinned alive. He might have prevented the smile but he couldn't stop the small laugh from leaving him after she finished speaking.

Don’t let Olly Olly Oxen Free here get a big head, because when I give my attention to someone, that means something,” Kitt looked right at Oli as he said these words, teasing grin turning closer to a soft smile, though he ruined the softened expression by outright winking at the pup. His eyes lingered briefly on Oliver’s face, to see his reaction, before drifting back to Aisling. “I’ll be honest, hon, bit surprised you said I was alright. Feeling’s mutual.Never, ever let Hana hear that. And you’re right, I do love to talk a lot. Like, right now, I should have shut up before, but nope. Here I am, going on and on, and I’m doing it now just to prove that you were right when you said I was annoying.” he did stop there, almost smiling at Mama Wolf; maybe the fresh air was getting to his head but he was thinking this little interaction actually wasn’t going half bad.

Oliver took Ash’s words gladly at first, but the look he was giving her gradually grew more surprised. No way she actually believed any of this. “Kitt” looked like some sort of mess released from boarding school, trying to find his way in the new world with wobbly Bambi legs. He didn’t understand what she meant - ’you’re the main reason he even said hi to us’ - and looked incredulously between her and Kitt, trying desperately to understand why he would be the reason. He was flattered, sure, but it was silly to think he would be interesting enough to acknowledge an entire group of people you’re meant to be in competition with… Looking at Kitt in a new light, with something of adoration in his gaze, Oliver withdrew into himself again, feeling even more shy now. It’s not like he was in any sort of spotlight, rather, it felt like he had to keep up whatever front attracted Kitt to them in the first place. After all, unlike Ash, he wasn’t certain of Kitt’s intentions (and, more likely than not, had no idea how to figure them out - despite wearing his heart on his sleeve, Kitt was not entirely transparent to Oli).

Anyone else might have changed their mind about said transparency when the pink team member addressed Oliver next, but he was blind to how suggestive the other boy’s actions might be. He stared intently at Kitt as he spoke, seemingly watching a kaleidoscope, and stepped back anxiously when he caught wind of what looked like… a wink. That’s new. Oliver bowed his head when he realised Kitt was watching him, too, and moved closer to Ash as if she could ‘get rid’ of whatever nerves were brought to him from that alone. The rambling that followed was easy to tune out at first, pretending he didn’t hear the kindness shared briefly between Ash and Kitt, but it was more difficult to ignore Kitt’s little tangent on how annoying he was supposed to be. Oliver’s chin raised up again, and his shoulders drew inward even more, like he was defending himself against a punch. “You’re not annoying,” he said swiftly, like he was ushering the words out from embarrassment. Oli briefly made eye contact with Kitt, realized how difficult that was, and turned it over to Ash, rocking on his feet jovially. It seemed like interaction that wasn’t so hostile had refreshed him.

Ghost had watched this entire interaction go on rather calmly, despite his fists being so tight he might pop a vein. His mind didn’t really register the words as much as he’d wished it to, but he knew that whatever was going on, he didn’t like it. There was Ash, Oliver, and… Kitt. When did he ask for Kitt to come? That Pink bitch didn’t deserve to get involved with Greys. He decided to hold off, however, until he was sure that they were done talking first, just in case anything happened that would mean he wouldn’t have to approach them. As much as he’d love to go and strangle that drama queen, he hated coming near people when he was having an outburst. Ultimately, however, the rational side of his brain struggled to compete with his “primal” side, and he strode forth from the shadows, covering the ground between him and the pink member in long, heavy strides, all the while stating his disgust for the man. “The fuck is Alton doing here? I said you could bring Oliver, not the Pink brat!” The Grey Leader had made his way to the boy by now, towering over him. All it took was some fearlessness and an overactive imagination, and you’d just be able to picture the steam coming from his ears and nostrils. He took two strong, outstretched hands and planted them on Alton’s shirt, shoving him backwards. “Get. The fuck. Out.” It would take a miracle to calm him down, which the calmer side of him was currently hoping Ash would be able to pull it off as it was getting buried further and further in his subconscious.

You gotta be shitting me.” Aisling spoke her thoughts outloud. This wasn’t the first time something like this has happened, but you’d think by now, Alex would have gotten a hold of himself. Thanks to her self defense classes, watching wrestling with her ex, and private Martial arts sessions with Nicholas, Ash knew, at least, how to get an opponent in a position where they couldn’t do much of anything besides breathe. Her protective methods lasted temporarily since the woman didn’t think she was a fighter, nor strong enough to fight against someone she knew who could take her down (referring to Ghost). Sure, she exercised and did pull ups but that didn’t mean she would be ready for a fist fight at any given moment. If people truly wanted to fight, they could have the upperhand and perhaps more training than her. She wasn’t perfect and has not spent most of her life fighting. Her skill set had everything to do with her sight, which is why she personally loved archery.

Ash knew how to protect… and that’s all that mattered in this given situation. Taking a deep breath in, the only woman in the lobby walked away from Oliver’s side and in back of the emotional Grey Leader, who was pinning poor Kitt against the wall. Pinkie was exactly her size (5’5”) too, which made her think her friend could do the same to her. Both her arms passed under Alex’s arms from behind, as she kept her breathing steady to make sure there were no mistakes in her actions. Applying both her hands on his neck, giving him a full nelson, the woman gently stared at Kitt for a brief moment. This was a grappling hold which secured the opponent’s neck as she applied pressure to it and can be extremely dangerous if done wrong.

Don’t push up. If you do, you could compress your vertebrae causing a hernia.” This move could be counteracted, if he knew how, but it at least got his grip off of Kitt. Signaling with her eyes for Kitt to stand next to Oliver, Aisling sighed, in a rather dejected tone, as she looked at the back of her friend’s head, “When are you going to grow up, Alex?” The only person who had ever seen the sad side of Ash was Ghost, but today, she gave a glimpse of it to Kitt and Oliver. This moment and the previous moment with Jackson made her realize how much people took her for granted here at camp, or just life in general... she couldn’t help but let it get to her. Why was she always the one that made sure others didn’t ruin their lives or make god awful mistakes? She couldn’t possibly watch the childish ones hurt others or hurt themselves. It was a burden Ash carried for a while, but she didn’t realize how far deep she was until… recently.

Shit. Ghost had forgotten about Ash’s self-defense classes. He’d tensed his muscles as Kitt was rescued from his grip, but remained placid, since a hernia wasn’t exactly something you’d want on your first day back at Camp. He struggled to bury his anger as he stood there, his back straight as ever and his head held high, in his attempt to not receive any damage. His main fear, however, wasn’t small amounts of damage or even hernias - it was hurting Ash. She of all people knew how pissed he could get, and she’d hopefully have a move in the bag if he couldn’t control himself, but the chance of him hurting her, even slightly, was a possibility. Ghost then did the first thing that came to his mind - performed the “surrender move”. Normally he’d just break eye contact, like a wolf, but he’d taught her a backup just in case. And he was damn glad he did. He gently tapped her with his safest available limb, his leg, by bending his knee, the tip of his shoe just catching Ash’s leg. Then, he slowly lowered his head, though at a speed that would allow the Grey’s pseudo 2nd-in-command to slowly release her grip. At least, that’s what he hoped she’d do. Finally, he closed his eyes, taking heavy, audible breaths to calm down, talking softly as he counted to ten. His muscles slowly relaxed with each number, until he was loosely hanging in Ash’s grip. Once that was done, he inhaled deeply, letting out a long exhale. “I’m sorry, Ash.”

Well, so much for a breather. It was sort of hard to keep up with everything that had happened in the short span of time. Before, Kitt had been taking in Oliver’s reactions to him. At first, he had wondered if he should tone it down a bit, since the pup was baring his teeth at him. But, the pup must have seen something, because he seemed to grow less agitated towards the Pink member, and said Pink member liked the change in attitude. Especially when Kitt was told he wasn’t annoying from the little pup himself. Aw, the pup is too cute. I won’t survive being around him!... eh, I will long enough to help him out with his fashion sense, though. Kitt had a response for the pup on the tip of his tongue, ready to come out, a little teasing jab to see Oli’s reaction to him more. It was cute how Oliver seemed like he wanted to hide behind Ash, even if the self-proclaimed Queen felt a little envious over Ash’s ability to getting people to immediately like her… most people, at least. However, before he could say anything, the tensions were back up. For Kitt, tensions always rose whenever the word Alton was spat his way. God, he hated that name! He wasn’t some old man and it was an old man’s name, he truly believed that.

Though, Kitt didn’t have much time to think about his first name being spoken in such a rude manner, because he had a very angry, taller man towering over him and that was not a comfortable feeling at all. That was why Kitt hated how short he was - everyone towered over him! Maybe that was why the angry cursing being in front of him was called Ghost - he practically came out of nowhere. Seriously, where had he been, Kitt was truly wondering that, but it was only a passing question in his head because things only escalated from there. The small boy could have dealt with the towering. It was a bit nerve-wracking, since Ghost looked like he wanted to strangle him, but at least he wasn’t touching him- oh, that thought came too soon. The front of his shirt was being grabbed - wrinkling it - but he couldn’t really concern himself with his shirt, because there was the person holding said shirt, and he looked like he was about to actually punch Kitt. Not a thought the Pinkie liked at all. Admittedly, Kitt was surprised. He hadn’t thought Ghost - God, he still hated that nickname, to be honest - disliked him that much. Sure, Kitt didn’t give him any reasons to like him, but he didn’t think he’d provoke such a violent reaction from the guy.

It was one of those moments where Kitt could only stare up at Ghost, speechless. To render Kitt Sanders speechless was a feat on its own, rarely ever done. Yet, it was easy to achieve when a person got physical with Kitt. Kitt didn’t like actual verbal fighting, so physical fighting was something he really, really disliked. He hadn’t been involved in very many fights before and he hadn’t started any himself. He wasn’t a fighter at all and he felt like Ghost could break him in half like a twig if he so desired. So let’s hope that desire doesn’t arise… The staring and speechless moment was more like a deer frozen in headlights moment. The surprise on his face was evident because holy crap, Ghost. Then, it was mother wolf to the rescue. The relief that flooded Kitt’s body was instant as Ash got Ghost to let him go. He wasn’t exactly sure what Mama Wolf was doing, because he wasn’t a fighter in any sort of way, and he didn’t really care. Getting away from Ghost was the best idea right now, in his opinion. He shot Ash a grateful look as he took advantage of the ability to slip away. He hadn’t missed hearing what Ash said to Alex, God Jesus, Kitt couldn’t remember his actual name for anything since he always heard Ghost, and glanced back at the dark-haired girl. He didn’t know Ash very well, but right now, it was obvious she was tired. Of what, of course Kitt couldn’t say. He felt bad for her, and not in a tongue-clicking sort of way, but actual pity, the kind that made someone want to reach out a helping hand. But, Ash wasn’t his friend, he wasn’t Team Grey, and he obviously wasn’t welcomed in Team Grey by some people. Well anyway, that was scary, though Kitt being Kitt, would pretend he wasn’t as shaken as he felt. He felt shaken down to his very core, heart pounding hard in his chest. He took a few quick deep breaths as he walked over to Oliver, since his breathing had been a bit harsher, and plastered on a smile that if looked at closely enough, was obviously fake.

He had his back to the Ash and Alex show, because he really didn’t want to look at the taller teenager and be reminded of why his insides were shaking. He reached up to smooth out the wrinkles in his shirt, but his hands were shaking badly. They quickly were shoved into his jeans pockets, eyes briefly looking away from the new pup, smile slipping for a brief moment, before he was looking falsely amused again. “Well, that has never happened to me here!” he said, and he wasn’t loud about it, keeping his voice more quiet so only Oli could hear, because he didn’t want to disturb whatever Mama Wolf calming techniques Ash was performing on Alex. “See, Oli, most people here… find me annoying.” he said, his smile almost turning sad, because yes, Kitt wouldn’t mind making other friends besides the ones he had. He just struggled with… he wasn’t even quite sure. He almost sighed, but held it in, and instead shook his head. “Now I can say I’ve been bitten by a grey wolf,” he tried to joke, even if it fell flat, but he still waggled his eyebrows like a dork would have. “I’m- not welcomed in this public space, I guess,” he began slowly, glancing over his shoulder, to see Alex relaxing in the mother wolf’s grip.Yeah, Ash had some freaky power, didn’t she? “So, I’m going to see myself out, unless...” he paused here, blue eyes flickering over the little pup’s face, his eyebrows slightly pulling together the only thing giving away the concern he was feeling. “You need to be near someone, sweetie? I’m not Mama Wolf but…” he trailed off, giving a shrug and a teasing grin, though it didn’t reach his eyes.

Oliver stared at Kitt with wide eyes, but couldn’t shake the presences aside from the Pink member. He may have a habit of overanalyzing Ash, but right now, it felt like he’d pegged her correctly before - he assumed she wasn’t all pleasantries and formality back then, and there was a more solemn side to their headstrong leader (or second-in-command, if one preferred her official rank). This side peered out now from where she stood forcing Ghost into a calmer state, and Oliver felt a twinge of pity. It wasn’t right that the duty of ‘mothering’ everyone had fallen on Ash’s shoulders, he thought. In fact, for such a small girl, Aisling had received the biggest brunt of things, made to take care of everyone around her. It’s not like Ghost was going to do that any time soon; right now, he seemed more focused on pinning Kitt. Oli was just glad she was there to stop things from going too far, and while he wasn’t sure he trusted Ghost by his lonesome once he’d freed himself from her handle, he turned away so as not to trouble himself with the stressful situation. Oliver wasn’t certain what the dilemma was, exactly. Sure, it was obvious that Ghost didn’t like Kitt - or Alton, whatever that meant - but were team rivalries so tense that he had to buffet the poor kid upon sight?

Still, he had to ignore whatever was between Ghost and Ash, because the latter seemed to want them to move on. He was fully aware how people thought of him at this point: some helpless little thing that needed saving. He’d just humour them for now, and part of that was leaving Ash and Ghost to their own devices (which, for the record, he didn’t fully understand - their relationship was far too complex for Oli to analyze well). Pushing the details to the back of his mind, he listened to the doe-eyed boy that came scuttling over upon being freed by the Grey not-so-leader, the distaste in his features that was so distinctly present before suddenly extinct. Oliver watched Kitt’s shaking hands rise to his chest, what he thought at first to be a defensive gesture, but it seemed the Pink was just trying to smooth himself back into place. Fruitlessly, apparently; his hands were trembling far too much to do so, and Oli blinked inquisitively at the fact, but didn’t comment on it. The explanation that followed was more thought-provoking, and Oli avoided Kitt’s gaze while he spoke, deciding that this was too heavy to address even nonverbally. He figured he shouldn’t have an opinion formed on the Pink member at this point, since there were mixed reviews and Kitt was sort of an enigma thus far, but it was hard not to forgive him for supposedly being this ‘annoying/obnoxious/unwelcome’ kid. Oli didn’t see any of that, and in fact, his perception was just the opposite once he’d heard all of those gently-spoken words.

It took him a moment to fully register the inquiry, and Oliver hesitated, unsure how to respond. Then, his eyes flickered down to Kitt’s chest where his hands had hovered just moments prior, trying to fix any disarray - the Pink was still a bit of a mess, truthfully, and Oli met his eyes again, wondering if Kitt had asked for selfish reasons or just out of politeness or if he actually cared… who knew. Oli decided on the last option to save himself from any grief. Tentatively, he studied his own hands and found that they were much calmer, despite the spike in heart rate he’d received from watching Ghost shove Kitt up against the wall. In more deliberate motions, he placed his hands on Kitt’s chest, smoothing out any wrinkles that arose from the brief spat. “I don’t mind,” he breathed, a little laughter touching his voice, if only from pure nerves. He couldn’t help feeling silly under the circumstances, and that only forced an unnecessary, barely-audible chuckle that he was half-certain might be taken the wrong way. This in mind, he hastily pursed his lips to shut up, then moved his attention to Ash and Ghost. It seemed only right that they should get moving, but he truly wanted to address what Kitt’d said before, to reassure him that he certainly was a welcomed presence at least to the newcomer.

Even so, he could, potentially, have a hand in releasing Ash from the uncomfortable position she was in. Oliver stepped away from Kitt and eyed the two against the wall, unsure whether to speak and unintentionally startle them or otherwise… but he could hear, even from the distance between them and the Hall, that people were moving on from the conflict already. Suppose it was only best that they did, too. He looked between Kitt and the duo across from them, then, obstinately, stepped closer to the two who remained in close quarters. “Reckon we should get going,” he said quietly, avoiding looking directly at either of them for fear of being even more intrusive. It seemed Ghost had taken it from a ten to a two in a matter of moments, though, so at least he wasn’t in direct danger (not like he would have been before, considering he was a grey team member and thus free from bias), and the same seemed to go for Ash. Even if he couldn’t place their relationship accurately from the glimpses he’d gotten of it, Oliver assumed the quasi-violent turn this interaction had taken was just portrayed in the wrong light. In fact, since Ghost had so quickly crumbled in her grasp, he decided they were far from being conflicting forces. Even if it wasn’t his business, Oli was concerned for them both. “If you’re all right to go, that is…” He trailed off, unsure whether he should be the one to give way, but moved backward toward the door nevertheless, his movements inelegant purely out of uncertainty.

While Kitt and Oliver left the two eighteen year olds to take care of their business, Aisling loosened her grip as her friend did the surrender move he taught her a while back. Once he calmed down expeditiously, rather than let him go, she simply changed her hold into an embrace from behind to guarantee that he was okay. Resting her head on his back, she closed her eyes and simply stood there in complete silence. Most people that witnessed Alex and Ash together could assume they were lovers with how close they were, but not once did they breach the line between best friends and significant others. They cared too much about what they had: their friendship. Or at least, that’s what Ash came to believe. To be honest, she never considered an actual committed relationship with Alex since she wasn’t looking for love, but she would be lying if she said she didn’t like his comfort.

Breaking the silence, the petite brunette softly whispered, “It’s all over. You’re okay now.” Releasing him from her arms, she crossed them, slowly returning to her strong front, and urged, “I think we need to catch up tonight”. By ‘catching up’, she meant that she wanted him to tell her everything that was on his mind and give her his explanation for acting out. It was a cross between a mother’s scolding and a friend’s support, all so she can make sure this, at least with Kitt, wouldn’t happen again. Ash could guess the reason behind it all but she liked hearing it come out of his mouth. When kids got out of hand and later had to explain themselves, it helped to reinforce their guilt while giving them an opportunity to understand their actions. There was a method to her madness. Well, the Mother Wolf did want to know how her friend was too, since they hadn’t seen each other for almost a year, but him reflecting on this incident was also important. Her attention was brought to Oli’s voice and for a brief moment she had forgotten they were with company. Turning her head to look at the two boys, her face back to the distant expression they knew before, she nodded in agreement and walked on ahead, gesturing for them all to follow her.

Ghost had quickly snagged a tear before it made itself visible after Ash had made sure he was definitely okay. God did that girl know how to look after him. Forget the team, she was like a mother to him. He did roll his eyes like the moody teenager he was when she wanted to “catch up”, but he knew she meant well, even if her motherly techniques annoyed him. With a heavy breath, he followed behind her, towering over the group, despite his rather average height. Before they made it to the Hall, he managed to regain full goofball mode back, coming out with a quick, “‘SUP BITCHEEEEEES!” once they walked through the doors, just in time for introductions.

After strolling back into the hall ever-so-casually, which was quite contradictory given his earlier behaviour, Ghost took a seat, glaring at anyone who stared at him for longer than ten seconds, and let the introductions fly by his head. Blah blah blah, Jackson professing his love to Ash (WHAT?!), pointless monologuing, ooh! Serafina, she did a good one, more pointless monologuing- what the fuck? Ah, another Team Pink bitch, this time with a little blow directed towards the Greys. I’ll fix this, he thought, standing up and making his way to the stage, walking on empty chairs and tables like they were stairs. Once he’d gotten to the center of his imaginary spotlight, he turned around, flashing everyone a grin.

“Hellooooooooooo, Camp Liberty! WOO!” He began, hoping his fellow wolves would join in with his celebrations, “I’m Ghost, the beloved leader of Team Grey, also known as the Wolf Pack, and unless you’ve just teleported here within the five minutes it’s been since my little outburst, then I need no introduction. For those of you that are magical teleporting geniuses, or just have really crap memories, then here’s what you need to know about me: one - my threat still stands; if you pull any more crap this summer, I’ll kick your asses. Two - Team Grey have been, and always will be, the best team here, fuck the Royal Blues. Three - as a continuation of my lovely threat, you lay a single finger on Ash over there, I’ll figure out a way to kill you over and over again until you’re beyond dead. And four - ignore Hana “The Bitch” Park over there, we are probably the least pathetic out of all you sorry lot, especially the shallow Pinks (that’s right, you heard me!), and we’re fun to be around. Provided you don’t piss us off, of course. So, shut the fuck up, Hana! Peace out, motherfuckers!” He grabbed a nearby person’s water bottle, using it to perform a rudimentary mic drop, before jumping off the stage and jogging over to the Grey area, waving to everyone like he was on a gameshow.

Now that’s an introduction.

Tate’s Outfit

Laying in a bed of grass, a (fairly recent) blonde haired man with cornflower blue eyes to die for deeply stared at the clear sky and the few clouds that accessorized it. Beside him was his bass drum, where he had attached cowbells, Agogo Bells, a tambourine, a couple of latin percussion blocks, and a strap (many years ago) to it so he could put it on his waist and throw down the sickest and tastiest of beats wherever he went. He called his bass, Miss. Grandstander or Baby, since she was literally his life. Who says drums had to be a he or gender neutral? She rocked people’s socks off, man. Even with her obvious worn out appearance, she kept persevering to please the crowd and to give her man some cash on the side -- not saying he whores her out. No! He didn’t mean to come off as an insensitive prick. She’s just the main money maker in this relationship. His stability and security blanket. When they became one, people could not deny their love because when together, they produced magical music babies. Awkward metaphor, but you get what he means. His black fedora rested on his chest and his body was adorned with a light denim jacket, a plain white tank, black jeans, kickass sneaks, and woven bracelets around his left hand’s wrist. There was only silence surrounding him but his feet swayed to a constant playing beat of music in his mind. This young soul went by the name: Tate Demerson.

Tate and his ‘darling’ older sister, Luisa, had gotten in last night and spent most… their entire night… outside in this random clearing by camp playing music and plotting. Plotting for world domination (Nah, but seriously, he was excited to be back)! Perhaps those individuals who came early could faintly hear them jamming their night away, regardless, both siblings made sure they were a bit away from the main area. Along with sitting together in the darkness, using their emergency LED flashlight as their source of fire, they talked about possible scenarios that could happen this summer at camp. Well, it might have been more Tate talking about him and Jackson running around camp and impressing all the newcomers and oldies with their parkour, flips, and shit or Tate grabbing the balls to talk to Fauna from Green, possibly even getting a sweet dance with her. OH HOW HE WANTED TO DANCE WITH HER SO BAD.

Although he knew his sister was a major cockblock, the unnatural blonde wasn’t the type to hide major crushes from her. Sure, it might have made more sense to act like he didn’t like anyone… but his sister would be able to tell just by his puppy eyed stare. An instant read that he was head over heels for this girl he hardly talked to. He had a crush on Fauna ever since she welcomed them three years ago. Damn, she was beautiful as fuck. He didn’t know if it was the fact that she resembled a porcelain doll, creepy as that sounds, he digged it, or that they together would have heartbreaker blue eyed babies, but he couldn’t stop staring (maybe even drooling). If he ever got the chance to tell her how he felt, he would. Of course, it may come across awkward because he’s not the best at confessing. The last time he confessed to someone he was like, “Damn boy, you fine.” and got a nice, warm slap in the face. It’s alright, his old crush just didn’t want to admit he was flattered. Yepp, Tate’s previous crush was totally a dude and he had no shame that he went both ways! Or any which way? How many ways are there? If he liked you, he liked you. If he thought you were attractive, expect to be told that at least once a day. Sometimes crudely and other times sweet as yummy red velvet cake.

Fauna was surprisingly a tall girl, Tate only being an inch taller than her, but he didn’t mind that, easier to get closer to her face if they were to have awesome smooch time, you know? THAT IS THINKING WAY TOO FAR AHEAD THOUGH. He needed to woo her with his suave moves and that’s exactly what he was going to do. Check out these beats, Fontaine. His mind drifted to a fantasy of him being in the spotlight and her only looking at him. God, he needed to impress the fuck out of her. Getting back to the original point, Luisa and him were tight, so he couldn’t help but share these kind of things with her.

It was almost adorable hearing Tate come up with ideas on how best to impress his latest little crush; he was like a little boy on the playground finally discovering that cooties were a lie but still had to pretend they were a real thing to keep up appearances. Of course Luisa knew who the target of her little brother’s affections was this time and of course Luisa would make it one of her missions this summer to ensure that the road to admitting one’s feelings would be long and arduous. Sure, she was certainly glad that he had found someone to perhaps serenade around a campfire one night, but in Luisa’s mind no summer fling amounted to anything if it was made easy. Why else did every bit of media always have the romance happen at the end of the summer rather than at the start? Tate would have to put in work if he wanted that wonderful reciprocation. Luisa certainly didn’t see a problem with this whatsoever; she knew that Tate would no doubt think the same thing if he knew who she was crushing on. And that was exactly why Luisa preferred to not be so obvious with her crushes, and yes, there was someone they’d both known at Liberty that had caught the eye of Luisa Demerson.

Luisa Demerson wasn’t laying on the grass like Tate was, but she was seated on it, her thin, legs stretched out in front of her, with a black case laid across her lap, obscuring her black and red skirt that seemed as if it came out of the pages of a mall goth catalogue. For all she knew, it did, the Goodwill people didn’t give a story when the clothes were purchased and Luisa didn’t bother asking. She just needed a skirt to match with her present top, which was a black tank top that was a size too small, paired nicely with a similar vest to Tate’s, though hers wasn’t denim but a vest worn typically by males to a funeral or something under a suit jacket. Luisa might have snagged it from Tate’s clothes, but it wouldn’t have been the first time if she had. Her hair, oh that wonderful sunset bursting mop that sat atop her head, was blowing gently in the early breeze, though not enough to be a nuisance, that would come on the truly blustery days. Still, thin fingers brushed her hair back behind her ears as she slowly rocked in the grass.

Her phone, which was situated in the pocket of her vest, had gone off, but she paid it little mind. If she had to hazard a guess, it was one of their fellow campers wondering where she and Tate were. The hilarity that the dynamic duo had most likely been on the grounds longer than the others was enough to have the fiery headed sibling chuckle at the thought. But she would not answer it; why ruin the surprise after all?

”I still can’t believe you’re into Fauna,” Luisa spoke up, wanting just to break the momentary silence of their sibling sitdown. Any longer and Luisa was liable to get antsy. ”I mean, I guess if you’re into the fucking deer-in-headlights thing then it is what it is. Whole camp fulla fine lookin’ peeps and you would go for one of the weird ones.” Luisa absent mindedly plucked some grass from the ground and let it fall in between her fingers. ”I ain’t saying she’s not fine, just...I always figured you ran around with Jackie Boyo because ya’ll were about to free run into each other’s arms.”

Sitting up in defense, having not felt his own phone vibrate (probably left it on silent), with narrowed eyes, Tate looked at his sister to defend his crush’s honor and his bro for life, “As much as I love my bromance with JB, we both got our eyes set on a prize. Sure, he just wants to beat Ash and prove he’s top shit, but I really like Fauna. Like reallyyyyyy like her. I’d like to think she’s adorable, not weird! Plus, YOU shouldn’t be talking. We’re some of the weirdos here.” Out of the two siblings, Tate was the obvious younger minded one and had simple, yet pure intentions. His hat had tumbled to the ground. Grabbing ahold of it, he plopped it on his head and intriguingly gazed upon his sister. She knew just the right times to break the silence.

At some point, Luisa was simply talking to get something going. It beat the silence of waiting, but waiting is what they had to do. They only had one chance to make an entrance and it would be far less effective if no one was there to witness it, or if some people were missing. But their entrance did have something to do with Miss Grandstander and Parker, the true best couple in all of Camp Liberty. Parker was resting in his bed right now, but he was not far away from his perfect match, and they’d be together before long anyway. Patience was all it took, and yet Luisa was impatient by nature. She must’ve gotten it from mom.

”Fauna’s french though, right? Aren’t the French people all about love and shit? Like our parents’ friends and their whole key party things? All you gotta do is go up to her and be all suave and shit and look her in those doe eyes and be like ‘voulez-vous coucher avec moi?’ and she’ll be like fuckin’ putty in your hand, man. Or you might get slapped. Wouldn’t be the first time, though, right?”

Luisa, it seemed, found some sort of fun in picking on Tate, as was her responsibility as an older sister. You always make fun of the ones you love, after all.

Cracking his knuckles, the boy rolled his eyes, “Frenchie or not, you know more than anyone else that I dig my damn grave and would have a nice mark on my face after I said something like ‘Je me branle souvent quand je pense á toi’.” That was a dirty, dirty pick up line he was taught by his dad’s friend, who thought it was funny to teach a kid the phrase but give him a false meaning. Don’t worry, Tate figured it out after a slap. Slaps are his favorite pastimes. Turning the conversation around, the brother inquired about his sister’s possible love interests, “Why is it I share my crushes with you but you don’t do the same? I’m going to find out one way or another, even if it means I gotta stalk your ass.

Luisa had to laugh at the saying. She didn’t know the language, only knowing that one phrase because who wasn’t familiar with that song by now? But she was given insider information as to the meaning of the phrase Tate rattled back to her; that family friend was more than willing to share the translation with Luisa simply because Luisa was the older sibling. So naturally she was all about encouraging him to use the line and was there to laugh about it when it blew up in his face rather spectacularly. What were siblings for, right?

”Are you seriously asking me that right now?” Luisa gave Tate a sideways look of incredulity, as if she had been asked some complicated math equation. ”I don’t share my crushes because I’d be giving you ammunition. Look how much shit I give you for having a stiffy for Frenchie and you think I want to just give you that information? Hah! You’ve got a lot to learn, lil’ brother.” Luisa was all giddy, chuckling and laughing at her response as if she was onto something with her statement.

”I’ll give you a hint, though, because you’re such a forthcoming brother. She...or he...they aren’t on our team. Or maybe they are. By the time you figure out who it is, I’ll be deep in Liplock City while you’re still struggling with Intro to French 101.” Luisa moved her legs, shifting position so her legs were bent and her chin resting near her knees. ”But speaking of, almost time for us to show up, isn’t it? As much as I love making fun of your little crushes and all…”

What kind of fuckin’ hint was that?!” Frustrated, Tate picked himself up and accepted the fact that his sister would forever be a pain in his ass. Offering his hand for her to grab, he pulled her up and grumbled, “That sounds like a challenge, sis. When he pulled her into a standing position and close to him, his gaze met with her’s, “You won’t make a homerun, not while I’m around.” The boy’s mind was set, he was going to find out who his sister was wet for and make sure the brother seal of approval was given before things got too risky. Who needs sleep when he had to protect his sister’s virtue?! Hahaha, Luisa… a virgin? That’s funny. BUT, she sure as hell wasn’t going to get an STD. Nope, nope. Tate will slap a bitch before that happens.

After they stared each other down, Luisa having the obvious advantage for knowing his crush, and even though she was smaller, her aura was far more dominant than his, Tate broke their moment by bending over to grab his bass drum and strap it on his waist and rest it on his kneepads. Ain’t nobody got time to mess up their knees. Safety precautions he took as he carried Miss Grandstander around.

”You should know better than to challenge me, lil’ brother,” Luisa taunted as she brushed the grass stains from her clothing, smirking rather devilishly as she did so, ”I’ve got confidence on my side, in addition to being a fine piece. That goofy fedora wearing vibe will only get you so far. But if you want a challenge, at least make it fuckin’ interesting.”

That said, Luisa offered no suggestion as to what would make it interesting, instead working her little fingers to the bone, putting Parker together. Parker was the name given to her instrument of choice, that being an older saxophone that wasn’t as golden as it was in its day but still played a tune you wouldn’t believe. The pairing of a saxophone and a drum seemed odd at first mention, but much like the Demerson siblings themselves, when they were together it was a riot, a cacophony of sound and fury that somehow managed to just...click together. There was just something so utterly appealing about the old jazz records her dad was fond of, hearing the way those artists could tell a story just from holding a note and letting the music speak...it made Luisa a fan for life. Plus, and this was really just a perk of the instrument, she found it incredibly easy to serenade potential lovers with a bit of the old Careless Whisper. Thanks, George Michael.

With a mallet in his left hand and a drumstick in the other, he pointed in the direction that they needed to walk in, “Ladies first. After all, I’m the backbone of our ensemble.” A cocky grin fell on his face. The one thing he loved about percussions was how they could be part of the rhythm, the melody, and the harmony. Drums were the heartbeat of the song. If he fucked up, he could potentially ruin all the groove. Like how a metronome kept musicians on point, he liked to think he connected his sister’s sax and his father’s guitar with his beats. Luisa made sure to send mental signals while they played and improvised. If he ever did mess up, which he doesn’t do often anymore since drumming has become second nature to him, his sister would break into a solo which would distract the audience, giving him time to get back on track. No one was perfect. Sure, he was a natural but even naturals can fuck up. The Demerson Siblings had plenty years to understand how the other worked and hone their skills. The best times during their day were when they performed in front of others, or just played their instrument in general. Music was their life.

Not hitting on his bass just yet, he trailed behind his sister unhurriedly. They wanted to either be perfectly on time or a couple of minutes late. Their goal was to have an audience and they were sure as hell going to get one. As he walked, Tate listened to the sounds around him, from the birds chirping, to even the low noises of some small critters walking around on the grass. There was music all around them and he absolutely fucking loved it. Twirling his mallet, he hummed to himself, the excitement building expeditiously. The closer they got to the Main Hall, the brighter his blue orbs became. It was almost show time bitches!

Let’s show our crushes what we’re made of.

Luisa’s response to that was an approving toot of her horn, serving both as a little sound check and an excuse to make any kind of noise again. Luisa was now in performance mode and her feet were carrying her towards their destination whether the campers were prepared or not. It was rare to get a Demerson Duo performance without having the case open for tips and such, but the people at Camp Liberty had earned it. Well, some of them, anyway. And that was enough for them.

No longer able to wait, Tate held the Main Hall entrance door open for his sister. After she entered, he strolled in behind her. Luckily, no one was in the lobby. Before they got to the archway that led to the Mess Hall, where everyone was introducing themselves, the blonde kid excitingly looked at his sister. They were about to make this happen! My body is ready!

His ears perked when he heard Mama Wolf dismissing herself to take care of Jackson, “What happened?” He said under his breath.

Not one to brew on his thoughts when he knew nothing on the matter, but still worried for his bro for life, Tate gave his sister a look that signaled: LET’S DO THIS.

Both siblings entered loudly and proudly, screw who was going to talk next. They filled the boring room with HYPE AND MUSIC. The song was relatively fast paced and since they were already outlandish musicians, they simply improvised rather than play an actual modern song. The moment they made their presences known, the pulse of the room sped up. Tate knew their music gave the room a whole new atmosphere and he couldn’t help but cheesily grin about that.

Passing the red tables, he gave most of the familiar faces a challenging stare in a playful manner, until he reached a face he didn’t recognize (William). Dirty blonde, freckles for days, and lovely ass eyes...were they blue? Or Green? Hazel? Tate couldn’t tell, but he totally digged the dude’s look. WHAT ARE YOU DOING. CHECKIN’ HIM OUT?! YOU LIKE FAUNA, GODDAMMIT. His words meant nothing in his puppy dog head. Instead, Tate used some of his cool-look-at-me moves in front of the kid as he performed to the fast tempo. Throwing his drum mallet high in the air, straight up, he continued to slap the bass with his free hand, all the while hitting the latin percussions with his drumstick. When the mallet came flying down, he caught it instinctively like he had done this many times before and gave the kid, who he knew nothing about, a confident nod--hoping he had intrigued the boy enough for an interaction later.

Luisa wasn’t one for more showy performances though not for lack of trying; Tate had the benefit of being able to do things such as speak and twirl a thin piece of stick and generally act a fool. Luisia, on the other hand, had her hands and mouth full making sure that her swinging sax was on point, blaring out a jazzy beat that would hopefully get into the minds of the campers and not leave until they were back in more civilized sections of the world. Not to say that she didn’t give a little bit of flash in her performance. While Tate was busy mallet tossing to make up for his missed cue (Luisa counted the measures, someone was off and she knew it wasn’t here; it was never her. Even if it WAS...it was never her), Luisa was being more mobile, swinging her hips and her body from side to side in such a fashion that her skirt was bouncing from side to side in step with the motion of her hips.

While Tate was also being totally obvious in his musical flirtation, Luisa took the opportunity to swing her way over towards one of the more annoyed looking people in the Hall, that of course being the wannabe Queen Bee herself, who had looked mildly annoyed before the siblings’ arrival and now only more so with the music. Luisa approached Hana and got as in her face as the presence of an instrument could and blew a rather high bleat from the sax into the pink member’s face. Hana’s hair blew back from the noise, and that was reward enough.

Moving on. Tate backed up with a bit of bounce in his movement, never stopping on his wild beat exchange, and intentionally made his way to the Green tables. Damn straight! Time to show his actual crush that he’s suave as fuck. He bent down and got close to his bass, drumming on it softly. Fuck the rest of the team. He only cared about her right now. Picking up the tempo the closer he got to Fauna, his blue eyes never wavering from her face, Tate made sure she had a good glimpse of him and his mad skills. Take me all in, Beautiful. He didn’t know if he was intimidating or handsome in this moment, but hopefully his happy demeanor while he played his instrument made her heart race along with his beat.

Her face looked soft and gentle. He wanted to touch it. Her nose was small and adorable. He wanted to rub his nose cutely against her’s (an eskimo kiss they call it). Her lips were stained strawberry pink. He wanted to press his lips against her’s, fervently and passionately. She was precious and almost doll-like… and he wanted her to be his.

Moving his body with the beat, he slowly made his way closer to her, as if he was trying to build anticipation between them. If only his drum wasn’t in between them, he would surely bring his face close to her’s just so she could feel the heat of his breath. God. Fucking. Shit. He wanted to kiss her so bad. When he was arms length apart, he took his drum stick and forcibly threw it to the ground, letting it hit the floor and bounce right back into his hand. God, he loved drumming. With that, he gave the dynamite woman a wink, being rather obvious with his flirting, and left her to contemplate his existence. When he drummed, all awkwardness was pushed aside (or at least, that’s what he’d like to think).

Luisa took advantage of Tate’s continued drumming innuendo, or whatever the hell it was he was doing, to double back to a gaggle of reds. Specifically she swung her way past Mathius, hoping that a bit of good music would help put something resembling a smirk on his face. But she didn’t linger long as her feet twisted and twirled about, taking her to the red team leader just in order to have Audrey pay attention to something other than her phone. Luisa was hoping Tate’s peripheral vision had picked this up, if only so he could start assuming she was using music to identify her own crushes.

She wasn’t, but that was the game she played with her brother. Though as they left the green team behind, doing a bit of a spin herself, Luisa winked at a pair of people, one as she spun past the green team crew and another as she did the same for the blues; they knew who they were. But she had to put her little routine to bed, it was time to wrap it up.

The song had a minute left while Tate grooved to the beat, moving his head along with his drumming and making his way to his home area: GREY TEAM. However, rather than notice all his old friends and acknowledge them with some sort of facial expression, his stare met with a baby-faced boy, whose mesmerizing eyes were far more striking than Fauna’s. The blonde’s heart skipped a beat at the sight of such… cuteness. Even when the kid didn’t look happy, he was incredibly handsome in the Guard dog’s eyes. A blush may have even fell on the simpleminded boy’s face, not being mentally prepared to have a new kid with such features on his team. It wasn’t only his face that drew Tate closer to him, it was how he held himself that made the drummer want to make him happy and put a smile on his fair skinned face.

The song came to an end, but not before Luisa extended it just enough for her to get in a twenty second finishing solo. She was the oldest Demerson sibling, that afforded her perks like ending the song.

With Tate inches away from Oliver, his cornflower orbs peered down at him with intrigue and interest. With a rather cute, dimpled smile, Tate boldly told the kid to his face, in front of his teammates, and everyone else, “You’re really cute.” His eyes rested softly on Oliver, with a pinch of desire, having totally forgotten about Fauna in this instant. After he had enough time to take in the boy, Tate turned to everyone and yelled, “NOW THAT’S HOW YOU MAKE AN ENTRANCE, BITCHES. GREY TEAM FOR THE WINNNNNNN.” He gave a stance where his arms were opened wide and his gesture insinuated the lovely saying “Come at me, bro”. Clearing his throat, he subconsciously twirled his drumstick in his fingers, “Tate Demerson, at your service.” He briskly glanced at Oliver once again when he said the last part ‘at your service’.

Who cares how long I’ve been here!” He added to his intro.

Leaving the seat beside Oliver open for his sister, Tate unstrapped his drums from his waist and placed it on the table (near where his sister would sit). Like a puppy, he plopped himself on the floor closeby his teammates (possibly, most likely, definitely near Oliver) and patiently sat on the floor.

”What up, you fuckin’ troublemakers and heartbreakers, besides your teenaged libidos! Luisa, the hot one in the Demerson family. To those of you I’ve swapped a bit of spit with and to those of you I’m working my way towards doin’ that with...what the fuck up, my bed’s firmly in the gray cabin. I’ll show you all what the sax does to my tongue.”

Luisa took a little bow before plopping herself down in the open and reserved seat from her brother. The fiery oranged haired musician quickly turned towards Oliver with a bit of a devilish grin and spoke loud enough for the room to hear. ”Don’t listen to what Tate said, little man, he’s super in love with FAUNA FONTAINE. You’d just be a side dish on his way to the main course.”

And that was why you never told Luisa Demerson who exactly you were crushing on. As she removed the sax from her shoulders she was beaming from ear to ear. Hell of an entrance. Hell of a summer to follow.

Interacting with: pretty gamer girls briefly sierra and audrey (@Dirty Pretty Lies @HushedWhispers); slightly judging thinking of others; special interest in/mention towards handsome geek wow a fellow geek! shawn (@HaleyTheRandom); the weird flag waver fellow teammate, theodore (@Xilaw)

Cassie appreciated being told she was fine. She didn't expect everyone to be hostile here, but she was nervous, so any little bit of kindness was nice. Her green eyes lingered on Sierra, because holy crap, she hadn't expected to see one of the most well-known gamers here, at her new camp. What a small world, right? She wanted to say something else, had planned too, but then the other pretty girl's phone started chiming. Her eyebrows furrowed when introductions were mentioned. That time already? She had felt like she had just gotten here. She wasn't typically such a nervous person, but she had never been in this type of environment before, so some nerves were to be expected. However, as the one pretty girl included her, she felt some tension leave her shoulders. Of course she followed, feeling like a total noob. Which she was, obviously; that wasn't always a great feeling, though. They entered the main hall which was growing quite crowded, not that it bothered Cassie at all. Actually, now that she felt more relaxed, she felt excitement growing inside her. All these new faces meant possible friends.

She felt sort of rusty in the whole 'friend-making' department but she knew she'd get back into the swing of it soon enough. Especially when she met her team. Ah, yep, her excitement was raising. Something caught her eye and it was a purple flag, being waved above all the moving and talking heads. She wondered if that was common practice, to wave the team's colored flag around. She took a quick look around and saw no one else doing it. Well... at least it was helpful to getting her to her table, she guessed. "I'm gonna go to my team now - but thanks!" Cassie said, giving the one pretty gamer girl a sincere smile, before her green eyes cut to Sierra, her smile turning more shy. Then, she shuffled out into the crowd, as the announcement was being made for introductions to begin. However, the introductions didn't make anyone settle down, and honestly, it was a bit overwhelming to get through the crowd of people. She had lost sight of the purple flag, and while maybe some people had found it stupid to do, she was appreciating the effort someone was putting in to their fellow teammates.

Because, yeah, it was kind of crazy in here. Since she lost track of the flag waver, she decided to just step to the side for a moment while the introductions started up. She'd find her teammates when they introduced themselves, at least. Cassie wasn't much of an observer; she didn't people watch. She learned about a person through talking to them. And, she was learning a lot about the people introducing themselves, that was for sure. First went the pretty gamer girl that had been nice to her. Oh crap, she hadn't gotten her name! But, now she had it, and she'd try her best to remember it. She was pretty forgetful, after all. She rose an eyebrow at Audrey's introduction. She must of been competitive to say that. Honestly, Cassie was waiting to hear someone from her team, but that didn't mean she wasn't looking at everyone. There wasn't much else to do when listening to all this. And, she was a respectful person, and so anyone standing up and talking deserved her attention. At the moment, she stayed leaned against the wall she had went up too. So far, the introductions weren't bad. Just some more tough words thrown around, nothing that bothered her.

Actually, it was kind of fun to hear. Everyone was so serious about this. She hadn't expected it to be taken so seriously, to be honest. Then, these two girls caught her attention, but not because she was seeking out someone pretty to look at, but because one of the girls knocked the other girl's chair back. Cassie's eyes got slightly wide. She was surprised to see violence here, since she had missed the first act of violence. The girl who had been knocked down, Emillie, seemed to recover sort of smoothly. Cassie eyed her for a bit longer before turning her attention away. Okay, so introductions were getting interesting now. The person to go after that strange ordeal caught her attention, only because he looked so fierce. Mathius was his name and by his reaction to a snickering kid, she believed he would tear someone apart. "Avoid him." she said quietly to herself, looking down at her feet.

She thought, maybe, the introductions would go back to some normalcy, or what she thought was normal for here. Just a name, color, and some words about how their team was going to win. That was better than the awkward recovers and threats. But, the next person to go was loud, and even if she didn't want too, she was made to look at him. Jackson Drake. Red. And... he was professing his love to a girl. She was slightly curious about what he did but only one quiet thing came from her, "Avoid him too." was everyone else that was going to introduce themselves seem a bit nuts? Well, at least the next two seemed to be kind of normal... until some chick began to speak. She was pretty, and Cassie was about to check her out, but then she spoke. "What." it wasn't even a question; it was just deadpan because she was completely lost as to what the girl was saying. Without the twins, another set of twins that was kind of funny, she would have just stayed lost in confusion. Though, the twins were sort of confusing themselves. Cassie didn't linger on them, since they weren't from her team, and all three of them would make her head hurt. Not that she wasn't interested in that lingo; it was sort of cool, if she was being honest.

The girl that the Jackson Drake guy had been proclaiming his love too was very pretty. All the girls were so far, it was completely unfair. Cassie wasn't sure where her eyes should land. The guys were handsome, too. "Damnit." she mumbled, because there was too much eye candy in this one room. It was a bit frustrating. Again, she was hoping introductions would go back to somewhat normal. Nonetheless, there were a lot of different people at the camp. The next girl to go was precious, wow. She was a little thing with a bright smile, even if it was nervous. Cassie did snort under her breath when the little cutie, Nessa, tried to get this Holden character to introduce himself, which he seemed to not be into at all. Now that was funny. Not that some of the others hadn't been funny but Holden's uninterest was amusing on its own. The next girl was another pretty one, Cassie was going to die, but it was the guy that went after her that really got Cassie's attention. Anyone who announces themselves as a geek certainly caught her interest and it didn't hurt that he was eye-catching, too. She was a bit disappointed he wasn't on her team but there would be plenty of free time to seek him out, wouldn't there be?

"God, get ahold of yourself, Cass. Thirsty, aren't you?" she mumbled to herself, green eyes still locked on the geeky Shawn. While she had a very deep interest in girls, and wanted to try something, she knew she still liked guys, too. And this guy had her interest hardcore. Quickly, she looked away, cheeks getting a bit darker. Nope, not going there at all. When the next person spoke, it was finally someone from her team. That took a while. Though, there were a lot of people around. Introductions probably always took forever. Theodore Simmons; she'd remember that... or try too. Bad memory and all. He must of been the one waving the flag, or she assumed so. When given the chance, she'd make her way over to him. She didn't want to draw attention to herself by moving through the room. While she wasn't one to shy away from attention, introductions were going on and she didn't want to be rude. Especially when the next girl went; she seemed like she might pass out from her embarrassment. Cassie felt a twinge of pity for her. She didn't pay attention to the twinge for long, though, because the next girl to go was very rude. She stared at this Hana Park in shock but her shock was turned to the next introduction, which was done on top of a table. But even then, she didn't get to linger on that, because two other people entered, and they were loud. Were all the crazy introductions saved for last?

Because if so, hers was going to suck balls. Seriously, she didn't plan on speaking in some weird lingo, or jumping on top tables, or going to town with a drum set thing strapped to her waist - which was impressive, by the way. So, yeah, this introduction was going to look like utter shit next to the most recent ones, and she almost didn't step up. But then decided fuck it. She'd wing it. She didn't want to think about it. She'd just say what came out. Lord pray it would be something good. So, she stepped up, took a deep breath, and... almost choked on her nerves. It wasn't a full on coughing fit; just a couple coughs that she got under control quickly. That was so unlike her, damnit Cassie!! She cleared her throat a bit and thought, smooth. "So now that I have everyone's attention after those... A plus introductions, in which mine is going to look like shit next too, hello! Name's Cassie, or Cass, whatever catches your fancy. Everyone has really cute faces, just so you know, and I'm Purple! If teams have, like, their own geeks or whatever, I'm gonna safely assume I'll be Purple's one and only fabulous geek," she shot Shawn a teasing grin, because Cassie was thirsty, and couldn't help herself to seek the dark-haired teen out, before looking around the room. Her eyes did briefly linger on Sierra Jameson because she was still sort of star-struck by her but she quickly recovered and announced, "Uh, go team, I guess, whoo!" she finished, clapping her own hands, before finally moving over to where Theodore was at. Well, her heart was pounding, but she was all smiles. "Hello, fellow purple!" she said kindly, plopping down right beside him, where an convenient open seat was. She gave him a beaming smile, because she wanted to have a slightly good first impression for one of her fellow teammates.

location: main hall watching all this amazingly crazy shit go down.
interacting with: people watching and drawing opinions on everyone; eventual mention at dat hot drummer boy tate (@lovely complex); that chick with the talented tongue luisa (@Fabricant451); loud mouth pretty boy kitt.

William was a people-watcher. He always had been, even when he was little. He loved sitting in public places, observing everyone and thing going by, making up stories for them in his head. He had quite the active imagination, though he tried to not let it get too out of hand, or else he'd be sitting around for hours watching people (which he had done before, it was actually relaxing). There were plenty of people to observe as the main hall was getting filled, bodies shuffling to tables and empty chairs, a constant buzz of conversation in the air. It was relaxing to William, who enjoyed crowded settings just for the watching. He settled in, sinking down in his chair a little with his legs straight out, ankles crossed, and arms across his chest. He pushed the gum around in his mouth with his tongue; he probably looked pretty unapproachable, to be honest, and that thought hadn't even crossed his mind. He was still tired from the flight he had taken yesterday to get here and so this position was the most acceptable for his jet lagged state. He didn't even notice that his stretched out legs were possibly in anybody's way, because his mind was wandering, and he was focused on just simply observing. However, when someone purposefully kicked his feet as they went back, it made him aware of where his legs were. The someone was shooting him a slightly annoyed look and William, being the mature young adult he was, stuck his tongue, thus his gum, out at her, making her pull a face and disappear into the crowd. Hey, she had started it, and he was tired, damnit. Nonetheless, he scooted his body up a little, but not by much. He began to relax again but, then it felt like a crackle went through the air as a fight broke out, not too far from William, either.

Well. That made him lean up more. The first thing William noted about the yelling chick were her eyebrows. Those bushy caterpillars above her angry eyes were something to marvel at, though William didn't have time to properly admire them, since some guy with a bushy head full of crazy blonde hair was equally as angry at her. Will's eyebrows shot up when the two were ready to exchange blows. Maybe this summer wouldn't be so boring. He had expected to see some interesting things but not a fight on his first day. The rest sort of went like this: someone stepped in and stopped bushy blonde headed guy from delivering a punch, someone with a smile that could rival the sun's own brightness took a picture of the whole ordeal, someone with great wavy hair seemed to be talking not only bushy blonde headed guy down but everyone else too; bushy blonde headed guy was very upset and had no qualms about announcing it vocally, wavy haired girl seemed to lay down the law, then three from the strange group left. It was a lot to take in, in the short amount of time it happened, but the only thought William had was, I hope that angry guy isn't on my team. Of course, he would find out later, his hopes were pointless.

Since the fight was over, but tensions were still lingering in the air, he went back to observing. A lot of people were still casually talking, like a fight hadn't just broken out not even two minutes ago. Maybe that was common here. Some sort of weird tradition to have a fight break out on the first day, before the day had even gotten properly started. Not much else was happening, and William was content to slump, watch, and chew his gum, looking like a tired teenager, one who needed coffee. Aw, no, brain, why did you think of coffee? Coffee sounds like life right about now. he thought dramatically, letting out a soft sigh. For the rest of the time until introductions, he was fantasizing about a big mug of black coffee... then that turned into a bag of Cheetos... which turned into a bag of skittles... and now his was stomach was making hungry sounds and he had nothing to feed it. He was ready to get up, go find something to eat now, he couldn't stand not having something in his hands that was edible, when introductions were beginning. He almost groaned but resisted... barely. He was tired and now hungry on top of it. Just great. Maybe the introductions would take his mind off of it. After all, there were some obviously interesting people here at the camp.

Audrey Peterson was his leader. She seemed pretty straight-forward, which didn't bother Will at all, and looked like someone who spent a lot of time in the sun. The next person to go looked like some sort of body-builder, another one to claim their team was going to win. Before William could linger on that thought, it looked like the guy sat back down only to immediately stand up again, but they were just twins. Both had the same big-muscled look and hair, and the only way that William would be able to tell them apart was how their fashion styles differed. Will was good with faces and names, but twins could be tricky. The next introduction was one that made Will feel second-hand embarrassment. He cringed a little as the blonde-haired girl made a poor recovery from being knocked into the floor by a girl who looked to be gentle but obviously was not. Worse was, they were on the same team. Admittedly, William was a bit excited to see how that played out for Team Blue. The next guy to get up reminded him of the twins in terms of build; he was built too. Seesh, William was beginning to feel like a shrimp with some of these guys around. He had more a lean build rather than a muscled one; when was one of his fellow shrimps going to stand up and introduce themselves?

Though, this guy looked a lot more intimidating. Of course this power house is on my team. he thought, raising an eyebrow at his threat. But, he had to stop himself from smiling at the practical snarl he did towards a kid; it shouldn't be funny but it kind of was. The kid looked like he about shit himself and William totally shouldn't be amused... but he totally was. Not that he'd show it. Well, he knew who the intimidation factor was on his team now. His eyes snapped to a very loud voice, announcing itself as Jackson Drake. It was the bushy blonde headed guy who been ready to lay in on that chick with the wonderful eyebrows. William was glad someone had stopped it; those eyebrows deserved to be loved, not abused. "Oh no." he accidentally mumbled out loud when he heard Jackson was on his team. He was going to be killed, wasn't he? Will wasn't half as brutal or angry as Mathias or Jackson, so they might eat him alive. But, he was on their team. Some mercy had to be given, right? He didn't linger on it for much longer, because then Jackson was apologizing to some chick named Ash. The one that had laid down the law earlier. Wow. Well, the proclamation of love... was sort of romantic in a really charmingly boyish way, William had to give him that. Will thought the little dance number at the end just made it and while he might be wondering if Jackson would bludgeon him to death in his sleep, there was a bit of admiration for that loud, and definitely weird, apology. The Ash girl hadn't seemed that interested during the whole thing, but she was leaving with him, so something obviously worked.

The next person to stand up, even from where William sat, he could tell the dude had some piercing blue eyes. Like... amazingly blue. They were as amazing as the chick's eyebrows next to him. Though, blue-eyed dude's introduction was very... bland compared to everyone else's. It was a sudden change in pace from what had been going on so far. Though, Eyebrow Chick made a bit of a strange introduction. Was that the norm around here? Loud and proud and strange introductions? Also, yes, William was getting everyone's name, but he also liked to make up stupid and obvious nicknames for people in his head, too. It seemed introductions were beginning to get back on the weird track, because some blonde that looked like she spent a lot of time on the beach stood up and... completely threw William off. What was she saying? His confusion was written all over his face. What lingo, as she called it, was that? William was a curious creature by nature and he was very intrigued by the- surfer, another set of twins were translating. His eyes lingered on Surfer Chick, before turning to the twins. They were like the opposite of the bodybuilder twins in appearance. Will probably wouldn't bother to figure out which one was which, honestly.

The next intro to happen was from someone so adorable and sweet, Will was afraid he'd get cavities if he kept watching and listening to her. Her introduction would probably be the sweetest and cutest one, Will realized. He doubted anyone could top that amount of innocence and cuteness. The Little Kip as Will had deemed her, tried to get someone named Holden to introduce himself. Will's eyes lingered on Holden, waiting for him to get up, but... he didn't. Actually, he seemed pretty uninterested in it all, and Will did wonder how the quiet teen wasn't feeding off of Little Kip's bubbly energy. He was staring at the seemingly adorable ball of energy, because it was hard to not stare at something so cute, when a clapping caught his attention. He wasn't sure which introduction was more awkward - this Gray girl's or Chair Girl's. Either way, he again experienced secondhand embarrassment on behalf of someone else at this camp. He really didn't like that feeling; it made him want to just sink in his chair. The Geek Guy that went next caught Will's eye. He had been trying to not think about it, but there were a lot of lookers at this camp. The Geek Guy had some pretty amazing-looking hair. It was hard to keep his eyes off of the ones he found most attractive. He could look, couldn't he? No harm in that. Wandering eyes never hurt anyone.

The purple team member that went next had as dull of an intro as Blue Eyes had earlier. Straight to the point, with a small fact, done. Will wasn't sure which ones he preferred, but the loud and proud ones were making him not doze off on the spot. Outside Guy had seated himself and a girl stood up, clearing her throat. Unlike some of the other girls around here, this girl looked like she didn't get outside much from how pale she was. But, he didn't linger on her looks, because she spoke. And yep, he found the most awkward intro. He doubted anything could top this one, and that secondhand embarrassment came back in ten fold. He was seriously concerned that Nervous Nelly was going to just fall out in the floor. Instead, she just crumbled back in her chair and buried her head in her hands. Seesh, William felt pity for her. By far, the most awkward introduction ever. He highly doubted anything could top that one. Some really pretty Asian girl began to speak. Seriously, she was beautiful - until she kept speaking, that was. Will really believed that an ugly personality could make a person less attractive. While their beauty was still noticeable, and he could acknowledge it, he still saw the ugliness of their words. He could only stare at her as she kept going, a bit of surprise on his face. Even compared to Intimidating Math's threatening introduction, for some reason, Hana Park's little speech seemed like the harshest one so far. Avoid that chick, for sure.

Oh, here went another yelling intro. William was beginning to get used to the volumes raising and falling in this room. And it was someone else getting up on something taller in height, this time on a table though. Oh, the leader of the supposed Wolf Pack got the jab back at Pinky Park. A really hard jab, too. If asked, William wouldn't know whose introduction was the best so far. Honestly, he was stuck between Bushy Blondie's, Little Kip's, and Alpha Wolf's. Though, he would know whose to choose, once the next two people entered. Of course it had been completely unexpected; William had thought some people were loud on their own, ha! The girl who entered had shockingly bright hair; it started out as a darker red before fading into something lighter, and doing it again, and wow. It was beautiful and William kind of loved it. Sunset, is what came to mind. Sunset Girl, yep, he was so original and great. However, the person that came in behind her caught his eye, and held it. Like the girl, he had pretty outlandish hair, too; it was peeking out from beneath the hat atop his head, the black of the hat contrasting with its brightness. William meant outlandish in the best way possible. It was a bleach blonde, shockingly so.

While majority of the introductions before had caught his full interest, this one was loud, noisy, but in a great way. It made him lean up, using his feet to straighten himself out, eyes locked on the guy with a bass drum with attachments that was strapped to his waist. Sunset Girl had a sax and somehow, the music was coming together to create a wonderful sound that was appealing to William's ears. He had a thing for music, could listen to any of it with contentment, but the best music was spontaneous, different, weird and this little show made this whole introduction thing so much better. He was caught up in the music, a slight smile forming on his face, as his hazel eyes watched the Drummer Boy go to town. Briefly, his eyes cut to Sunset Girl, the amazing way she handled that sax, and somehow, these two blended it all together to make something amazing. His eyes returned to Dummer Boy only to realize he was passing their table. Subconsciously, he straightened himself up even more, not wanting to look like a slumping bum. What did he care, though? Okay, he did care when those blue eyes were on him. Holy shit. that was the only thought that passed through his head, his face a bit blank from his surprise. Drummer Boy's eyes were a striking blue and the only reason William looked away from them was to watch the drum mallet go into the air, glancing at Dummer Boy's hand slapping the bass, drumstick hitting every note and cue with beautiful ease, before he caught the mallet on its downward fall. It all happened so smoothly, like he had done it countless times, and that shouldn't intrigue Will as much as it did.

It hadn't helped that Will was quickly realizing he was very much attracted to musical types at this very moment. When a confident nod was directed at him, his blank expression finally broke, the barest of smiles coming onto his smile. Drummer Boy just became a thousand times more attractive in Will's eyes. Any guy who was that good with his hands would catch his attention, but the way Drummer Boy held himself, how he moved around, how he played the drums with such effortless ease, was keeping his attention. His eyes didn't leave Drummer Boy, even as he moved on; he felt like his heart was pounding as loud as the bass drum. Had they practiced this before? Will expected they had, so he'd be surprised if he ever learned it wasn't practiced. He found his eyes drift briefly to Sunset Girl, amazed by how well these two played. Though, he noticed the way Drummer Boy played for another girl, one who had yet to introduce herself, and hummed quietly to himself. Maybe the Drummer Boy always went up to random people and played for them; either way, Will enjoyed it too much, and damn, was that girl beautiful. She reminded him of a china doll. Even though he wasn't into girls, he could see why Drummer Boy was playing to her.

He went back to watching Sunset Girl once she had her short solo. He was impressed by both of them an extreme amount. Though, once the song was over, his attention was pulled back to Drummer Boy. The room felt oddly empty now without the upbeat music filling it. He overheard Drummer Boy tell someone he was cute - and he was. Will couldn't fault him for being honest there. The boy had a face that would draw anyone in and Will's eyes lingered on him before they snapped back to Drummer Boy when he yelled. He let out a quiet snort under his breath at what Drummer Boy yelled. He agreed; that was how you make an entrance. Tate Demerson. Hm. Will wouldn't be forgetting that name, or face, anytime soon. He didn't know why, but he found it endearing, how Drummer Boy sat on the floor rather than in a chair. He paid attentin to Sunset Girl, his eyebrows shooting up at her suggestive little speech. So, yeah, these two muscial siblings totally were going to have the best intro ever, weren't they? He couldn't imagine anyone beating that.

He thought that would be it, and someone else would go. Maybe he would, who the hell knew. He didn't really want to stand up, though; he had finally gotten his seat warmed. But, Sunset Girl spoke again, and at her words, Will's eyes got a bit bigger. He glanced over at the pretty Doll Girl, safely assuming that was her. Whoa, way to be straight-forward about that. He didn't want to, again, say something was funny, when it shouldn't be, but he did feel a twinge of amusement. Well, he should probably take his eyes off of Drummer Boy then. He wasn't here for that anyway. Despite telling himself that, though, his unwavering hazel eyes locked onto the sitting drummer and stayed for several minutes - until someone sounded like they were choking. He looked over at the red-head, who seemed to do a better recovery than Chair Girl, but still not the greatest one, and slightly rose an eyebrow at her words. Well, he knew he had a cute face, but he appreciated hearing it from someone else, he guessed. Her eyes did sweep over him, pausing, and he rose an eyebrow at her, just to watch her quickly look away. William was a nice guy, he swore, he just liked messing with people. Though, he noticed the way she reacted towards Geek Guy, and well, guess she was Geek Girl now. Mr. and Mrs. Geek; The Geeks. William, shut up. he thought to himself. Hunger and lack of sleep were getting to him. He looked around, waiting for someone else to get up. Well... fuck. Might as well get this over with. He didn't have a problem with crowds but that didn't mean he wanted all the attention directed at him. He was a watcher, not a... watch-ee. Eyes briefly landing on Drummer Boy, he stood up, decided it would be best if he didn't stand atop a piece of furniture, took a deep breath to begin, and- he was completely interrupted by a boy dragging a chair into the middle of the room, getting up on it, and announcing his presence. He even addressed William, telling him to hold on, and Will's annoyance spiked. Oh, no way was he going to let this cute as fuck boy interrupt him.

If Kitt was asked to give a reason as to why he approached Oliver in the first place, rather than “Have you looked at his face? And you’re going to ask me that? with his trademark ‘you gotta be shitting me, you idiot’ look, he would have to take pause. The first thing that had drawn him to the pup was his face, how young and youthful he appeared, with glaringly blue eyes, set beneath a mop of brown hair that looked soft to the touch, and that unhappy look on his face. He had been precious, and Kitt had immediately been taken. The second thing that he noticed, were his clothes. Yikes, did he need help with those. However, if he had to give a reason now, he’d probably roll his eyes while saying, “I feel like there’s more to him than just this nervous little thing and I’m a curious person, sue me.” it was hard to not like the little pup upon first meeting him. There was something about him that Kitt just- liked. He knew he really should not, not only would Oli not want him but he was a Grey wolf at that. Hana really didn’t need to find out about his new fancy, the only fancy he had ever had since beginning to come to this camp two years ago (but she totally would find out later). Nobody had caught his eye quite like the pup before, and even Kitt was a bit thrown by just how much interest he had taken in the boy.

For the second time that day, Kitt was rendered speechless. But not because someone was harshly grabbing him again and behaving like he had just ran over their cat, but because the new little pup reached out and smoothed the wrinkles out of his shirt, straightened it up for him, and all Kitt could do was stare up at Oli with both his eyebrows rose. It did surprise him - the pup didn’t seem like the touchy type at all, and for him to help Kitt out with his outfit... that would put anyone in Kitt’s good graces, and the taller boy had already been heading that way. He managed to crack a smile, mind still a bit thrown by all that had happened earlier, and slow to properly catch up to everything. Then, it was time to head back into the Hall, and Kitt felt his nerves spike when Alex walked with them. He knew the towering height wouldn’t make a grab for him again but that didn’t mean his heart didn’t stop racing as they entered through the doors. Though, when they got in there, Alex was shouting, making Kitt cringe just the slightest, and going off to sit with the rest of the pack.

Kitt quickly scanned the room, looking for some of his fellow Pinks. At the moment, he couldn’t see any, and the damn tables designated for team colors always changed position each year, he learned that quickly, and there were so many new bitches, people were scattered anyway. Kitt wasn’t sure why they tried to keep order around here; it never worked. Before he went on his journey for his bitches, he paused, glancing at the pup. He removed his hands from his pockets, now feeling calmer that Alex was calmed down and away from him, and that he would soon have a spotlight on himself for an introduction. He turned to Oli for a brief moment, giving a smile bordering on playful, and reached out. “For that stress you caused me,” he began playfully, lightly tugging on the flaps of the, frankly, ridiculous jacket Oli wore, “You need to let me help you with your clothes… not that there isn't something endearing about the look on you, but it is hurting my eyes, okay, sweetie?” he didn’t let his hands linger on the pup’s jacket, instead immediately dropping them after a few teasing tugs, and looking up at him with seriousness, with an expression that said even if Oli denied, he’d get his way. Because Kitt always got his way.

Oli hadn’t really intended on making any new friends when he came here - really, he just wanted an escape from his family - but here he was, surrounded by people who he could call his own. Honestly, he was most surprised by Kitt. The pink teamer was definitely out of place with all the “grey wolves,” and, out of the corner of his eye, Oliver observed Kitt whilst he looked around, assumedly looking for his own group. Oli wondered if they were as tight-knit as grey seemed to be; if Kitt had the pleasure of a safety net of his own, if there was someone he could confide in. It really didn’t seem that way, from the speech Kitt had given after Ghost jumped on him. Kitt sounded incredibly lonely, misunderstood, and the newcomer would have opined that he was sorted into the wrong team had Kitt not proven himself to be so royal and laughably hedonistic. Oliver had a sneaking suspicion that the whole I am queen, bow before me, give me your good graces or else I’ll criticise your outfit act wasn’t all there was to the pink teamer. As much as he could entertain himself with overanalyzing someone he’d just met, making assumptions galore, he desperately wanted to just… learn more about Kitt. Which felt funny.

The hands on his jacket were, oddly, not too overstimulating. All the sounds in the room were bad for him, sure, and you’d think being touched would only make him worse, but Oliver didn’t mind too much - somehow, without doing a lot at all, Kitt made it easy to trust him. He supposed it was the vulnerability Sanders showed back in the lobby, but even Oli’s undying cynicism wasn’t acting up like it usually did. Hell, he’d even found the courage to reach out and correct the composition of Kitt’s shirt earlier, completely uninvited. That was a new deal. In spite of the smile on Kitt’s face, Oli briefly panicked at the beginning of his sentence, blinking innocuously as if to convince him that no, he really didn’t harbour any malice to intentionally cause Kitt stress, but it was apparent soon enough that the Pink was just teasing. He watched Kitt’s hands drop and this felt almost unreal. No one’d really offered to spend time with Oliver Cash out of their own free will (except for Ash just recently, and that was what made this even stranger), and he squinted at Kitt, reconsidering how quickly he’d chosen to trust the other boy. Nevertheless, the offer made him curious. “N — now?” he wondered aloud, shifting his feet. Wait. Of course not. There was no time. He shook his head to dismiss the dumb question. “Yeah. Yeah, sure.” He cursed himself for not being as bold as Kitt. “...thank you.” Oli mentally begged him not to ask why he’d been thanked, because, c’mon, it was hard to explain not being used to generosity.

Kitt heard the introductions starting, briefly caught the voice of Audrey Peterson being the first one to go. Of course she was, she had a big mouth. He nearly rolled his eyes but resisted, because little pup was replying to him, and he would gladly ignore introductions, and the attention he could get from them, in favor for the attention he received from this strange boy. He rose an eyebrow at Oli’s squint, a silent inquiry of what was going through his head. The more the Pink member was around the little pup, the more he noticed that Oli was very… intuitive. Being observant himself, when it peaked his interest or benefited him, and by how closely he was paying attention to the pup, he was noticing a few things that he wanted to get to know better. Though, starting a friendship might be a bit of a bad idea, considering the difference in team colors, and how those teams viewed one another. But, here he was, hoping Oli would say yes to spending more time with him. You are being a desperate cunt, Kitt. he scolded himself in his own head, as the little pup stuttered out the word ‘now.’

Kitt blinked, watching the way Oli shifted on his feet, and that was another thing to add to the endearing list he had growing for the new pup. His smile turned more to the soft side, and he didn’t laugh at Oli’s mistake, but he did feel some amusement over it. He, himself, didn’t linger on the mistake the pup made, not wanting to embarrass him or possibly make him feel stupid. See? Kitt had a heart. A very big heart, actually; he just knew how to hide it. That big heart of his skipped a beat when the little pup accepted his offer. He honestly hadn’t expected it. Well, he sort of had, but it was still nice to hear. Either way, Kitt was going to get to spend time with Oli. Once the shorter boy had his eyes set on a new friend, he went for it. He had never set his eyes on someone for a possible… thing though, and that was different. Sure, there were plenty of good-looking guys around the camp, but none had never caught his attention. Until now, obviously. Something about Oli just drew the self-proclaimed Queen in and Kitt was hoping he could figure out what, exactly, as this relationship continued - because Kitt was determined for it too.

He took the thanks in stride. He liked to think he was being thanked because Oli noticed his amazing fashion sense and realized he was being saved. “Don’t thank me, sweetie. Cuties like you deserve to be dressed accordingly!” while it seemed like Kitt could be teasingly flirting, he was actually very serious about his compliment. He was honest, to the point of being blunt, and he had never really flirted before in his life. So, when he spoke like this, he wasn’t teasing, not even flirting - he was telling it like he saw it, like he always did.

Thanking God that Kitt wasn’t the type to make fun of simple misunderstandings, Oli returned the gentle smile on the pink teamer’s face, although his was somewhat less endearing by comparison. While he noticed Kitt had a sweet way of lighting up his entire face, even when the grin was soft and passive like now, Oliver’s smiles were always touched with a slight grimace, like he’d never been taught to properly look happy or he was just completely underdeveloped facewise. The comment from Kitt was far more affectionate than he expected, and Oli’s little half-smile faded, though not from any upset - he was purely surprised, unsure what to make of the compliment. Was this how people made friends, being as nice as Kitt was? Jesus. Oli made a mental note to remind himself he had to step up his politeness game. He certainly wasn’t doing so well now, acting all awkward around Kitt. He nearly mustered up another ‘thank you,’ but Kitt had just instructed him not to, so he breathed out in something of a nervous laugh before bowing his head graciously.

His eyes went round quickly, scouring the immediate area for a place to sit (and hopefully convince Kitt to stay), but someone addressed him before he could find them a permanent spot to take over. He watched Ash with wide eyes, the realisation striking that he’d not have her help when his time came to speak up - if he even would, like, were these really necessary introductions? - but he nodded understandingly nevertheless, turning to watch the ‘Mother Wolf’s’ back as she retreated. He waited a few moments, anxious, before turning to Kitt again, avoiding his eyes. He gestured vaguely towards an empty, short bench, with seemingly enough room for more than a couple of people, and shot Kitt a pleading look (which he instantly regretted - not like he was trying to guilt trip a possible new friend). “Hey - um - do you want to stay here?” He bit his lip before he could say anything too stupid, and avoided even sparing a glimpse towards the pink team gathering off in the distance. Surely he’d get some malice for stealing away Kitt, should he accept the proposal.

Kitt was having some trouble of fully concentrating on Oli. The introductions were going strong and for the most part, the Pink member could have tuned them out in favor of continuing this small conversation in the back, away from where all the action was properly going on. But then he heard Jackson Drake shouting and that was a hard voice to ignore. He nearly cringed at the sound of it. Of course he was proclaiming his love to Ash and making a huge scene alongside his apology. Of course. He almost sighed, was ready to tell the little pup that Jackson was an angry, MMA fighting menace, when he noticed Oli’s eyes looking a bit wide. His lips had already parted, and he shut his mouth, before going to ask if everything was okay, when Ash came over. He had vaguely caught where Ash said she was going to take that red menace to clean his wounds. Mama Wolf was an interesting character, that Kitt had always thought about her. He, again, was going to tell the pup something about Mother Wolf and Lovesick Menace, his own blue eyes glancing around, when he caught the gesture Oli made out of the corner of his eye. He focused on the taller boy again, blinking in a bit of surprise.

He hadn’t expected Oli to offer him to stay with the wolf pack. Well, it was more on the edge of the wolf pack, right on the line of their “territory.” Still, the self-proclaimed Queen knew he would not be welcomed. And what about Hana and Nessa? He still had to seek them out, and if Hana saw him sitting with a grey member, even a new one, he knew there would be a lot of questions later. But, looking at Oli, and seeing how… anxious he seemed, he couldn’t say no. He couldn’t just throw the pup to the wolves - ha - and not help in some sort of way. He had started all of this, came over and started a conversation with Oli, and if the pup was beginning to feel comfortable around him, well, Kitt wasn’t a bitch enough to snatch that away and say, ‘nope, figure it out!’ or something along those lines. Even if it may cause Kitt some future problems, he let a reassuring smile come onto his face. “Why not, doll? I can fill you in on the idiots who have been here more than one year - there’s some juicy stuff to tell you,” he said, giving Oli a waggle of the eyebrows while biting down on his bottom lip excitedly. Kitt gossip’d, of course he did, and to fill in a newbie on some of these bitches here at the camp? To be the first one too? Yeah, Kitt was going to enjoy that a lot.

Those bold words were enough to help Oliver settle down in all his mental turmoil, and he breathed out in something of relief, praying it wasn’t too noticeable, before realising what exactly Kitt had offered. Did he really want the inside look on everyone’s business? Sure, he’d been making up details for all of them, but in this way - gossip, how pathetically juvenile that sounded - he wasn’t so sure. Nevertheless, it was interesting, and not the type of thing Oli would just shrug off when it was handed to him on a silver platter like now. The devious little dance Kitt’s eyebrows did provoked a little laugh to rise from the back of Oli’s throat, resisting turning into full volume but still bewilderingly more audible than even his natural voice. He backed up towards the seating he’d claimed for them and hesitated, moving to the side so that Kitt could take his place first, before dropping down beside him.

Kitt thought he heard a breath of relief from Oli, but it was hard to really tell, since it had been so quiet, and he was partly listening to who was doing their intro. If they kept standing here, the pup was going to miss out on hearing some good stuff. Though, he was distracted for a brief moment from his thoughts, when he heard the small laugh from the pup. His eyebrows rose up in slight surprise, and his smile stayed on his face. Ha, he felt successful in some way for that, and there was a bit of pride growing in his chest now. Once they were at the seating, closer to the wolf pack than Kitt was fully comfortable with, he took the part of the little bench that was farthest away from the Greys, and scanned the area of the room he could see better now. He caught sight of Hana off to the side, Nessa and Holden elsewhere, and glanced over at Oli, at how close he was to the infamous Grey wolf pack. He probably wouldn’t be noticed over here right away, considering the room was slightly crowded and people were scattered to begin with. So, he scooted closer to Oli, making sure he wasn’t touching him but close, and crossed his legs before leaning over to start telling him what he knew of some of the people speaking.

They sat down just in time to catch the end of Tis’ introduction. He rolled his eyes a bit at her lingo. “I don’t know much about her because I can’t understand her. Some bullcrap surfer lingo, I dunno. Makes me never wanna visit a beach, to be honest.” he whispered to Oli, again making sure he wasn’t invading the pup’s personal space too much. He was joking about the last sentence; he had been to the beach a couple times and it wasn’t horrible. It wasn’t his most preferred place in the world; indoors were much better. He wouldn’t recommend Oli doing what he does, whichwas just outright tell Tis he can’t understand a fucking word coming out of your mouth, you need to have a translator with you at all times, hon. Once the twins were translating, he let out a little tsk. “All I gotta say is: they will give you a headache. Not just because they’re annoying but because they won’t tell you which one they actually are, obviously,” he mumbled to Oli, eyes flickering around the room. He wondered when one of his girls would stand up so he could give them praises to the young pup. As if summoning one, Nessa stood up. He nearly clapped his hands in excitement but managed not too. That was his child, okay? “That is Nessa. I’ll introduce you to her later, she is precious. Not as precious as you, but still very precious.” he paused as she tried, and failed, to get Holden to say hello. He sighed just a bit. “Take a look at Holden - that’s all you need to know. He still acts like he doesn’t know me- offensive, right? Or… he actually forgets who I am, which is still offensive. He’s off in his own world a lot.

Of course, Kitt would eventually be noticed by one of the wolves, and it had to be Ariel Gray. Not that Kitt had had much interaction with her before, besides the passing words Pink and Grey were always throwing at one another. Considering how this was going with Oli, and what he saw with Ash, he wasn’t going to exactly write her off like he would have before. Hana would be so pissed when she heard about this - and saw him over here, too. He wasn’t going to lie to her about it. At the word ‘Alton’, he leaned away from the pup, straightening himself up and pursing his lips in reply to her words. Another wolf was biting at him and he was going to dish it back, of course he was, but suddenly, her demeanor changed, surprising him. What the hell was going on this year? What, is Oli making some the pack members nicer and more open to Kitt? The shorter boy glanced at the pup before looking back to Ariel. Before he could say anything, however, she was climbing onto one of the tables and clapping. Oh, well, fuck you too then. he thought before looking at Oli.

I think you make them more civil, Oli.” he joked, smiling some. This first day was the strangest first day he had ever had here at camp. Then again, he had never showed such strong interest in another boy here, and the boy was in another team, and he was breaking the “laws of the land” for sticking around here. More like the “laws of Pink and Grey,” since they both went at each other’s throats almost more than any other team did. Introductions kept going, not much time for talking since Kitt focused on who was speaking next. “Shawn just told you who he is so I don’t even need to tell you he is a geek.” someone overhearing might think Kitt was saying that as if it was a bad thing, but he really wasn’t. He just stating the fact. To each their own, right? Unless it was clothes. Oh God, that was when Kitt stepped in and intervened. When an unknown face stood up, Theodore Simmons, Kitt made a small ohh’ing noise. “He’s new…” the next thing came out in a mumble, “Please, someone with fashion sense, stand up before my eyes pop out of my head.

When the new girl stood up, Nicoletta Soriano, Kitt almost cursed. How hard is it to color coordinate outfits?! Honestly! he huffed inside his own head, when the new face spoke - or… attempted too. Oh no, Kitt actually felt bad for the poor thing. He made another ‘ohh’ sound, but this was softer, more pitying. “She’s obviously new. Poor thing, I hope she doesn’t faint. That happened last year- some kid got so nervous, plop. Right into the floor.” he paused, blinking and glancing at the pup. “You know, that- that doesn’t happen to everyone, and it isn’t that bad standing up. My first year, I wasn’t even in Pink, and I was so nervous- it happens to everyone, even the best ones like moi.” he joked lightly at the end, elbow briefly brushing against Oli’s side, not quite a nudge, but an almost one. Then, he heard a familiar voice, and his attention snapped to his best girl, Hana Park. Her intros were always ones for the book, in his honest opinion. She didn’t hide anything and that was what he loved about her. She was dead honest. Admittedly, he was a little relieved she hadn’t seen him in the wolf’s territory yet. He wasn’t quite noticeable but after the next few introductions, he was going to make himself known. For now, though, he listened to Hana throw shade at everyone, and pressed his hand over his mouth to try and prevent a smile. He shouldn’t enjoy how blunt and harsh she was but he really did. At the mention of the Grey Team, though, he quickly glanced at Oli and dropped his hand. He wasn’t going to be dishonest about who his best friends here were. “Hana is my most favorite bitch - my second year here, I was put in Pink, and she basically took me under her wing. Her very fashionable wing, thank God. She… doesn’t like Grey, obviously, but she’ll like you- who couldn’t like your face?!” actually, he wasn’t so sure about the last thing he said. He planned on talking to Hana as soon as possible about his new interest. Again, he wasn’t going to hide it from her. And, he was obvious, since he was sitting next to the pup.

Alex went next and Kitt hadn’t been expecting it. He jumped just a little at his loud start, before twisting a little to look at him, where he made a table his stage. He didn’t really care what he was saying - until he said something about Hana, that is. His eyebrows furrowed as a frown marred his face. Only he was allowed to call Hana a bitch. Because he meant it lovingly. Oh, and look, a jab at Pink. Big surprise! He scoffed under his breath, turning away and crossing his arms over his chest. Ghost wanted to be like that? Okay, then. Kitt began to get up, ready to deliver his own biting jabs back in defense of his best bitch, when the doors opened and oh no, the Demerson siblings. Their entrance was big and loud, like the siblings themselves tended to be in personality, and Kitt settled back down because no way would he be able to interrupt that. He wanted too but he knew once they got started, there was no stopping them. So, all he could was watch, arms crossed over his chest, lips pursed. They were so annoying, God help Kitt, he thought he was about to scream. He glanced over at Oli, to see his reaction to this sudden loud entrance, when his attention was pulled back to Tate. Because Tate seemed to get caught up in looking at Oliver now, rather than some guy from Red or that damn Fauna chick, and Kitt did not like that, at all. His eyes narrowed when Tate got closer, the drummer’s focus solely on Oli, and Kitt had the sudden urge to kick out like a horse at him. He didn’t, of course, he was never violent, but this one moment, he wanted to be.

When the song ended, I think I’m deaf now!, Tate boldly told the pup he was cute and that, honestly, shocked Kitt into just staring between the two with slightly widened eyes. His mind could only conjure up one thought: You Demerson bitch. A third time today, Kitt had been rendered speechless, and could only sit there, frozen, as his mind tried to think of something to do. Then, his damn sister, Luisa, was addressing Oli after a, frankly, disgusting introduction, and what she said made Kitt’s annoyance spike. Oliver will be no one’s side dish! he thought in a surge of protectiveness, finally snapping out of his frozen state. Oh-ho, he was going to have so much to say in his intro, that was for sure. However, some damn red-head began choking and beat him to it. Shut the fuck up and move on, Red. he thought harshly, not even bothering to pay attention to her name. As she was finishing up, he hopped up. He began looking around for an empty chair, before pausing. He turned to the pup and reached out. “Be right back,” he told him, giving the spot above his elbow a quick squeeze, adding a playful wink to the end of his sentence, before shooting an openly distasteful look in Tate’s direction. There wasn’t an empty chair around him but he’d make one. Shoulders squared, he went over to some face he didn’t know, and asked sickly sweet if he could have his chair. When he looked at him like he was crazy, and said no, Kitt grabbed the back of it and dumped them out of it. He was growing angry, and Kitt didn’t often feel anger, and that was showing. He didn’t know how to quite handle it. The guy he had just knocked into the floor must of saw Kitt’s seething look, because he just grumbled and got up. “Sorry!” Kitt chirped loudly at the guy, dragging the chair into the middle of the room.

He plopped the chair down, for everyone to see him properly, climbed onto it, and clapped his hands once, and loudly. He had noticed some guy with freckles for days about to speak and held out his hand to him. “Hold on, hon, one sec.” he said, and cleared his throat. “I am Kitt Sanders and-

Well, Kitt Sanders, I think I was going to speak first,” William interrupted, stepping closer to the chair, and looking up at the smaller boy. Kitt looked down at him and narrowed his eyes a bit, before sighing loudly. “This is important, okay? You can have the chair next.” he said, waving his hand at Will. And while Will didn’t like the dismissive hand wave, Kitt hadn’t been that rude and all eyes were on them and so, yeah, Will took a step back, crossed his arms, and waited. He was annoyed, sure, but he didn’t want to start a scene and he wasn’t stupid; if he kept trying to get Kitt to shut up, it would turn into a scene. William hated being involved in those. He hated how far in the middle of the room he was right now; he was okay with crowds until all eyes were on him. It made him uncomfortable, a bit tense, making his annoyance slowly turn into anger, but he managed to simply watch Kitt, to see what was so important.

Kitt let out a breath, looking around the room, eyes lingering on Oli briefly. “Anyway! As I was saying,” he shot a look at William, who clenched his jaw and rolled his eyes, before continuing, “I’m Kitt Sanders and for those of you who do not know, I am in Pink. Obviously, since I have obvious sense about fashion-” he had to stop himself before he continued, because he really wanted to point out some people’s clothes, but that was not the point of this at all. He had no trouble confronting Alex about what he had said about Hana, would gladly do so actually. Hey, there were plenty of places to run if Alex came at him again. “Since one of the oh great wolves have made a list, I shall as well. One, Hana Park is a bitch, but she’s my bitch, and anyone calls her that again, I will have a few choice words for you. Unless your name is Nessa. Hi doll-face!” he waved and blew a kiss to the girl he just mentioned, adorable little bundle of sunshine, before beginning to look around the room again. “Two, shut the fuck up with all that noise! Some people do not like loud noises, looking at you Demersons, and it is annoying and rude. Three, some people are also nervous, and do not have to do introductions, and that is okay!” his eyes kept passing over Oliver, but for anyone who knew that Kitt and the pup were having a growing understanding with one another, would know Kitt was talking to Oli without actually calling him out. Though, this time, he did say the pup’s name, but not directly to him. His eyes locked on Tate, then Luisa, and as he went between them, he said, “Four, no one, and I mean no one in this room, on this camp, or anywhere in whole great big fucking world,” as he spoke very firmly, not as loudly as before, he reached out, grabbed onto William’s shoulder, and used that for leverage to help himself smoothly step off the chair. Kitt ignored the noise of protest William made, and let his hand be shrugged off once he was planted on the floor, and he stepped closer to the two siblings next to the pup, “will have Oliver as a side dish. No. One. Especially Tate Demerson. And!” after giving Tate a hard look, blue eyes darkened with his anger, he spun on his heel and spread his arms out as he locked eyes on Hana, “Yes, I am sitting with the wolves, yes, I do not care, so sue me!” through the whole speech, he had surprisingly kept his voice loud enough for everyone to hear, but not at an actual yelling volume. “Now, Freckles, you can have the floor. Thank you!” Kitt did a dramatic bow before walking over and falling back into his seat beside Oli, being sure to give Tate another scowl. Though, as he sat beside the pup, his face softened a bit. “Sorry to point you out,” he mumbled quietly, glancing at Oli, but he had to make sure everyone knew no one was going to be making advances on the pup with him around. Not even he had thought about making advances on the pup, and those thoughts still hadn't crossed his mind.

William, at first, just stared at Kitt for about six full seconds before blinking and looking around. “My name is William, Kitt Sanders, but thanks for that show.” he said, giving the smaller teen an unamused look, in which Kitt returned with a, frankly, cute smile, and Will kind of wanted to slap him for it. “Well. Anyway, sick drumming, dude,” he said, giving Tate a brief smile before looking at Luisa, “And sax playing. I, personally, enjoyed the music. I guess some people don’t have taste like they think they do,” he said, not even looking at Kitt as he made a noise of protest at that offense. William plowed on, “Part of Red. Guess we’re gonna kick your asses, blah blah, hooray, go team, ramble, rant, my teammates are fucking scary, insult, jab, and scene. There we go!” with that, William kicked the chair Kitt had left in the middle of the room just to get some of that anger out Kitt had triggered in him. He kicked it so hard, it bounced on its side a couple of times before stopping flipped over. He went back over to his chair, fell down into it, and slumped again. That was a good way to show some of his Red spirit, wasn’t it?

Fiorella's smile never wavered; instead, it only widened when a brief look of shock registered on his face only to be quickly morphed back into the stern face he had before. Even when the male raised his eyebrows at her and grunted, Lela was sure that he was bound to show even the smallest of interests in her and her charm. Instead, the buff man let an uncomfortable silence settle between them, letting Fiorella know that she had barked up the wrong tree.

“Maybe I’m lonely because I want to be," the male finally said gruffly after the silence had become so thick it could be cut with a knife. His brisk manner instantly wiped Lela's smile from her face, only to replace it with a “You’ll have to excuse me and hope you see me around. Don’t know your name. Maybe I’ll bother to learn it. Guess you’ll have to find out." And with that, she watched the man walk away and sit by a table.

For the first time since her parents announced they were sending her away to camp for the summer, Fiorella was left speechless, mouth hanging open in disbelief. This man hadn't just blatantly rejected her and had been downright rude, but had also talked to Lela as if she had to be lucky to even be acknowledged by him.

"Pero y este pendejo que se cree?!" Translation: And who does this asshole think he is?! she suddenly burst out angrily, hands on her hips and a nasty scowl. She thought back to what had happened to make sure she hadn't done anything to deserve such treatment, and when she realized she hadn't, it only made her angrier. However, before she was able to get all Latina on him and cause a scene (which would have most probably included a big ole' slap to the face), the introductions started. From her position in the front and center of the group of people in the Main Hall, Fiorella was able to get a perfect view and hearing of each and every one of her campmate's introductions, which would serve as a guide to make sure she knew who to befriend and who to avoid.

And so, without further ado, Lela's thoughs on her campmates!

  • Audrey Peterson- *raised eyebrows in a questioning look* 'A geek that thinks she's sassy... That's a new one. She'll need further investigation before I reach my final veredict.'
  • Nicholas- *smirking*'Hot and determined... I like that. And he's a Pink, too? We'll see how that goes.'
  • Nathan- *smirk widened* 'Just as hot as his brother, but funnier. Defintely someone I want to get to know more.'
  • Emilie Parker- 'The girl's got cojones Translation: balls for brushing off her incident the way she did. I would've died of embarrassment if I were her. She seems cool.'
  • Mathius- *eye roll, deep scowl* 'Pendejo. Translation: asshole He probably has the need to be so nasty with people because his dick is small.'
  • Jackson Drake- *wide smile, only to be replaced with amused laughs and a nearly irresistible need to stand up and clap at his love declaration* 'Way to make an impression, kid. And that energy, enthusiasm and no shame to do what you want to? I feel like I love you already.'
  • Aisling Hawthorne- *poker face* 'Boooooriiiiiiiiinggggggg!'
  • Eli Nelson- *knowing smirk that only widened as her eyes followed his and noticed he was looking directly at a raven-haired beauty.* 'Mr. Mystery Who Likes To Have A Good Time... Looks like he's already got his eyes on the prize. And from the way the chick's looking back at you, you are totally gonna get laid at least once before camp ends.'
  • Adielle Hart- 'She's got the energy and the heart... Interested.'
  • Tis- *grimace* 'Y qué carajo dijo esta???' Translation: What the fuck did she say?
  • Eric and Finn- *bewildered, but they got a few giggles out of her* 'They're cute, I'll give them that much. Immature, but cute.'
  • Nessarose- *excited smile* 'Princesa hermosa!!!! Translation: Beautiful princess Oh my God, this girl is absolutely adorable! I want her as my daughter!'
  • Holden- *giggles* 'It seems Mr. Hottie here isn't into these intros like Nessa is.'
  • Ariel Gray- *more giggles* 'She's adorable. I love her fashion sense, especially the way it seems to be a perfect representation of her personality. I'll add this one to the list of girls I'd like to adopt as my daughters.'
  • Shawn- *another bewildered expression* 'Life forms? What does this one think I am, an alien?'
  • Theodore Simmons- *interested smirk* 'Oh, I'll make sure to say hello alright, delicia. Translation: delicious You look like you could be food for my soul.'
  • Nicoletta Soriano- *sympathetic expression* 'Bendito... Translation: Poor girl It must be the poor girl's first year here if she's that nervous. I'll see if I can help make her feel more comfortable in any way I can.'
  • Hana Park- *disgusted expression* 'Esta cabrona... Nos jodimos ahora con la del complejo de reina! Ridícula.' Translation: This bitch... We're all screwed now with her and her royal queen complex. Absolutely absurd.
  • Ghost- *stunned expression* 'Oh my God... This man... He's just so... Oh my God...'
  • Tate Demerson- *wide smile* 'Way to make an entrance, sugar. You've certainly got talent.'
  • Luisa Demerson- *naughty giggle* 'If it weren't for the fact that I'm straight, the prospect of seeing what you can do with your tongue is honestly a very tempting one, seeing as you did so amazingly well with that sax.'
  • Cassie- *small smile* 'Well, she seems really sweet. And friendly. And totally down to Earth. It would be nice to get to know a person like that.'
  • Kitt Sanders- *the biggest grimace in the world* 'Dios mío! Translation: My God! How can someone so small pull of such a huge show? I just... I don't want any drama going on, and he sees to love it. Best to thread carefully around this one.
  • William- *another questioning look with raised eyebrows* 'Was it really necessary to kick the chair? Seriously?'

General thoughts so far? 'Everyone in this goddamned camp has too much team spirit for their own good.'

Well, seeing as it looked like most people were done with introductions, it was the best time to make her presence known. So, with nervousness in the pit of her stomach but showing no trace of it in her confident-looking face, Fiorella stood up and adressed the crowd.

"Hola! My name is Fiorella Aguilar, new member to the Pink team and to Camp Liberty as well. I am a fun and friendly Puerto Rican who loves to meet new people, make new friends and hopes to enjoy her summer here. Also..." she added, looking directly at the Ghost guy with a small, friendly smile. She would spend the whole summer proving him that she was different from the other pinks he knew if that's what it took. "Not all Pink members are shallow and have egos the size of the moon. I advise you to maybe get to know a few of us better before making assumptions based on a few bad apples." Yep, that was an easy way to gain an enemy, but Lela wasn't one to shy away from speaking her opinion. And, plus, that Hana girl had started it when she blatantly refused to shake her hand at the cabins earlier that morning. She'd been all smiles and polite words, but Lela knew a hypocrite when she saw one. Hana Park screamed hipocrisy.

That being said, Fiorella sat back on her chair, crossing her legs. As much as she loved to analyze people, she hoped these introductions would be over soon. Her appetite was reaching unbearable levels, and she couldn't wait to stuff her pretty face with some breakfast.

CURRENTLY WEARING

Fauna was just giggling, quite pleased with herself, at Shawn's futile reaction speed when Tis stood up and made herself known. Oh, shoot, this was the first time Fauna realised that they were doing introductions, having blocked out all of her surroundings otherwise. Not quite the type to watch others who weren't interacting with her immediately, she didn't bother trying to recall those who'd already spoken, and instead kept her eyes on the slender figure of the Green leader. She wasn't the one to begin their team introductions, though - that job seemed to have been passed on to those Norwegian-surnamed (or whatever, Fauna thought) twins, ever the rambunctious duo. Tis interrupted in time to give her little barely decipherable spiel, which Fauna had to lean forward and squint at in order to understand it even slightly. She did laugh again, the haunting tune of her voice filling the air, as Tis introduced the aforementioned twins as "Frik and Frak." Whatever that meant.

She couldn't help the cracking up that followed Finn and Erik's back-and-forth tradeoff of code whispering, and sat back with her hand over her mouth so as not to interrupt. It was just so hard not to pity them, being placed with this duty. Four years and even Fauna was unable to grasp everything Atlantis said. They were over with it soon enough, though, and onto their own personal intros, and she nodded appreciatively, sitting forward again like she was backing up her team nonverbally. The nodding slowed, however, when they chose to confuse everyone in the room over who was who, which one of them was which twin, whatever. Fauna didn't really care, but if she looked close enough, she thought the sweeps in their hair were going in opposite directions. Something to differentiate them by, but she still didn't know who was Fin and who was Erik in the first place, which made things pretty difficult. She made a resolution to just give the fuck up within seconds.

The slightly overwhelmed voice of Nathan reached her, and Fauna suddenly leapt up, looking far more excited to see a fellow Greener than he was about her. Slightly offended, she arched an eyebrow at him, then slowly answered his question. "M-hm, lovely, but you should be more concerned about..." She stared at his back as he retreated. Apparently her answer was satisfactory enough. Her hand hung in the air, having just stuck it out to gesture towards Nicoletta whom she'd nearly informed him of, before falling back to her side. "You know," she began, plopping back down into her seat beside the newcomer, "...he really makes me feel like a princess, always listening closely and intently." Fauna's tone was mocking being taken with the twin, but her expression read otherwise, one corner of her lip raised in something of a scowl. In response to his cold shoulder, she made a point to look terribly bored by his introduction that came a few moments later. Partially to earn maybe a lick of laughter from the newbie, but that was nothing relevant.

Her gaze landed on Adielle, barely visible from across the room, who had already grouped herself with the Grey team. Unsurprisingly so, considering her brother (step-, maybe?) was part of the group, but still, Fauna had to resist the urge to beckon the blonde over like she had with Nate. She didn't expect Adi's introduction, but the stray Green stood up abruptly while Fauna was still paying close attention, and her cute little pageant-queen intro earned an entertained smile from the Parisian. She hollered in encouraging agreement once Adielle had forced out that tame little ending, at least tame in comparison to her outburst from earlier (which, Fauna opined, was totally warranted; like, who is so mindless with their board?) before quickly quieting down, allowing some silence for others to go on and introduce themselves. Her eyes went to Nicoletta as if to give her that last push to speak, only to find that the new face was focused on Adi, too. She smiled half-knowingly, half-inquisitively, hazarding a will she, won't she? type of curious expression before forcing it away so as not to disturb Nicole in what seemed to be a very focused state. Adielle was obviously gorgeous, she didn't blame Nico for giving her well-deserved attention.

What she didn't expect, though, was the pause between Nicoletta standing up and speaking, and the speaking turning into stammering and the stammering being almost incomprehensible. Fauna waited for more, nudging an elbow against Nico's thigh while she stood like it'd do anything to help out, but the Italian was already giving up and dropping down to hide her face. Fauna widened her eyes slightly, concerned, before briskly clapping her hands. "HEAR THAT? We've got an ITALIAN. That's Ni-co-let-ta Sor-i-an-o, if you didn't catch it," she bragged, promptly jerking her chin up at every face in the room as if to place more emphasis on her words. She stood up with calculated grace, using Nicoletta's hunched shoulder as leverage, and cleared her throat for an invisible spotlight. "Fauna Fontaine, Parisien, green team pride, been here four whole years, so on-and-so-forth; if you don't want your pastries in the mess hall, give them to me and I might kiss you." She spoke in a comically mechanical voice, then curtsied with an invisible dress before dropping into a cross-legged, sitting princess position. She may have had a bit of a flair for the dramatic.

It was easy to ignore every other overdone introduction when she heard the sound of a sax from outside, just a brief tease of the instrument, before two familiar figures came bursting through the door and music erupted throughout the room. Fauna knew both of them. She'd been the one to jump on them almost immediately when they first arrived, simply because she'd misunderstood things and thought they were Green teamers, too, but didn't care very much anyway when she discovered the Demersons were actually part of the Grey pack. Mostly because she found the younger of them so darn cute it wasn't even funny. She had a habit of flirting with everyone she met, obviously even going so far as to offer her affection in exchange for bread in her introduction, but that tendency was lessened once she'd spent some time with Tate. Luisa didn't give her much leeway to do so, though, and it was the absolute pits. She couldn't bring herself to hate the female sibling, though. Lu had that radiant hair, radiant smile, radiant everything that made it hard to dislike her, even if just for shallow reasons.

So, Fauna was smiling when they made their way through the room, making sure to grace every gathering of different colours with their exuberant presence. She was almost jealous of each one that got passed before Green, and was so enthralled by them - by him, really, however ridiculous it felt to admit - that she didn't notice the certain individuals being given more attention than others. It became apparent, though, once Tate personally approached her team that he was focused on her, or maybe it was her eyes playing tricks on her. Fauna decided on the latter because Christ he was out of her league, and she shouldn't be entertaining any tempting thoughts that he might notice her, and she felt silly for feeling so self-conscious around some random boy. But it seemed like he never looked away, and Fauna knew even she wasn't so disillusioned that she could make that up. She looked a bit like a deer in headlights, gazing back with wider, more vulnerable eyes, engaged with his lighter-hued gaze. She felt like goddamn Daisy Fay seeing Gatsby again, however corny the reference was; or maybe it was the other way around, because she felt the need to decorate the area around her with flowers and gold accents in order to redeem herself. No time for that, though.

He was moving closer, and beneath the sound of the beating drum and Luisa's skilled playing, Fauna was laughing enchantedly, more of a sighing sound than much else. Even the cutesy trick he pulled with his drumstick bouncing down and back up like a frisbee couldn't distract her from his face, pale-featured and sharply angled and slightly devious, like that was just his natural expression. The wink was all he left her with, in the end, and Fauna accepted the gesture gratefully, her parted lips fluttering in one last smile before she leaned back against the couch again. She looked like she'd just witnessed Tate build the Earth out of nothing, although really all it was was a percussionist showing off. Nevertheless, she shot an amazed look at the black-haired girl beside her, mouthing did you just see that? as if it wasn't blatantly obvious. Something about keeping her eyes on Tate, almost phasing out the sound of the music, kept her from being too badly overstimulated - thank God she'd taken her medication recently, or else she'd have started doing that gross violent trembling she was wont to right in front of the male Demerson. That wouldn't exactly have been a compliment to their music.

Evidently, Fauna was too busy replaying the scene in her head to focus on what happened in the moments following, like how Tate quickly switched attention to a newbie joining his team, or how Luisa was oddly the one left to complete their little routine (strangely, it hadn't occurred to her that they were different in ages - the two bonded so damn well you could say they were twins). When he addressed everyone, however, Fauna was applauding gently as if she was from grey team herself. She already knew his name, 'course she did, but it was always nice to hear it again, because she didn't get to have necessarily long conversations with either of the Demerson kids. "Three years," she tacked on quietly, answering for anyone who actually did care how long he'd been here, and smiled, feeling quite dizzy for the time being.

She was shaken from the daze when Luisa spoke up again, though, and Fauna found herself jealous of that girl with her luxurious hair and confident personality and her grunge-chic fashion sense. This was only emphasized when Lu went off in some playful-hateful tangent, and it kind of reminded her of the drummer (how ironic) from Scott Pilgrim. Very nice, in her opinion. Her suggestive implications were a little less nice, but they were so utterly Luisa that Fauna breathed out another stream of laughter, just soft enough to let the other girl's voice be heard loud and clear as it was. She was ready to move past the siblings (well, somewhat) once it seemed the redhead was done and seated by some other Grey, but then Lu had another announcement to make. Fauna's shoulders bunched up in something of a flinch when she heard her full name spoken so sharply. Super in love. That was an exaggeration, surely. She sort of scoff-laughed and looked round at those surrounding her, unsure if she should respond directly or shut up. "Very mature, Lulu!" she shot back hastily, almost quickly enough to cut her off, but only just.

She thanked God that someone could move on with things much more easily than her, and her gaze flicked over coolly to a Pink she recognised easily as Kitt - wouldn't have to, considering he was introducing himself in a very unique way, but still. He was dragging it on, but she caught on to every way he said Demersons or directly targeted the brother, and arched an eyebrow inquisitively at Kitt. Seems like someone got a little riled up by fun and games. Hey, he should be thankful, she reasoned - it's not like the siblings were doing anything more than entertaining, eh? Usually, they had a strong business tactic of making people pay up, so this was even more generous. She appreciated the Red who stood up next a little more, though, noting the encouraging words he gave to brother and sister with a pleased smile. Apparently not even the dramatic kick of the chair he punctuated his intro with made her impression waver, because Fauna had decided fairly quickly that this kid would be under her wing. Really, though, she needed to get over her habit of nursing even the newbies outside of her own team.

FOX BELLAMIA

Location; main hall
Interacting With; no one in particular - nonverbally, alex @reiko nate @HushedWhispers emilie @Lockerz
CURRENTLY WEARING

Fox had a talent of tuning his surroundings out whenever things weren't focused on him. That's likely why he didn't take any real surprise from everything going on, as exciting as they were; for one, he really could not care less about anything ever, and two, all of this was getting old. Belligerent, big-headed kids who thought they were hot shit in some camp that only let them exist in the spotlight each summer, they all acted the same. Enter with some dramatic flair, start shouting about how they love the team, they're like family, how could they exist without them? Fox personally knew exactly how things would go if the Blue team dropped dead as a whole leave for him (wonder precisely how that happened). He'd breathe, drink, maybe eat occasionally; you know, normal human functions. Honestly, he deemed it unhealthy how these kids seemed to depend on their teammates so much, and exclude those who didn't fit in the same social circle.

Wasn't that a little conservative? Holding kids in one group with people they were similar to, fitting them into a box that supposedly defined their personality to a point, didn't that keep the campgoers from evolving via spending time around opposing forces? Fox couldn't give a shit whether they were making progress in character or not, but he could recognise when this place wasn't exactly serving its intended purpose. All this was probably why he looked so scornful when people continued flooding the doorway, and the only face he noted that didn't kill his mood entirely was that of a little blonde from Pink. Nessa was particularly obedient, easy to get along with because she complimented everyone so easily, a sort of human one-size-fits-all. Which isn't to say he was friends with her. Ness didn't always follow his swaying if it violated her personal dignity or any of her friendships, which resulted in him throwing something of a hissy fit. He never claimed to be a very good person, to be fair. When she entered with Holden, then, his brow furrowed in something of possessive frustration, coldly watching them go the same way and take respective seats. Seemed like it wouldn't be as easy to separate her and make himself into a deity again. Whatever - Fox put it out of his mind for now.

Not even the fight interested him. He tuned out, let the moment pass and everyone who needed a break from something that wasn't even a big deal exit, waiting for someone who actually caught his fancy. That's the thing about Fox - he couldn't dominate a room until there was a proper individual to feed off of, someone to convince he was more than he was. Just the right face appeared in the door then, and he knew her as spoiled-princess Alex. All right, in all fairness, she deserved a lot more than "spoiled princess," considering how much more complex Novak could be, but Fox had a way of seeing only the advantages people could offer him. He had deduced that Alex had an attractive amount of wealth circulating through her family back at home - or, at least, enough to give the girl the entitled sense of self that most well done by kids got - and she was popular among the camp. Much more popular among his own team. Even more popular in the eyes of the team leader. Jesus, was that a winning combo of traits. Fox immediately shifted his features from hate-consumed to pleasant and charming, playing up his charisma as usual, when he realised she could see him, too, and pretended to be preoccupied by his phone like those around him were. Would be creepy to just stare, after all.

He'd pursued her in the past, had been for a while, and knew full well that he wasn't exactly successful with it. In fact, Alex seemed to have a very particular distaste for Fox - it was like she could see through him and had formed very distinct opinions about him, at least in comparison to how everyone else felt about him. While others who had negative feelings about Fox might view him as a self-possessed little monster (which wasn't totally untrue), Alex was intuitive enough to recognise that there were some literal antisocial traits scattered throughout his character. He was trying desperately to erase that realisation now, and the only way he knew how was by mirroring those around him, scrolling through some random social media feed and smiling like he'd just been told some hilarious joke. Fox was mostly just praying that the rest of Blue actually came to their designated area, seeing as he'd gotten there first and that ran the chance of scaring off the rest of his team, should they find him here. Lucky for him, not only Alex appeared in time, but Sunny, too, (hey, he didn't mind extra audience members) and he silently observed their catch up scene whilst pretending to be enveloped by his cell. In any case, introductions were starting, and he pieced together his own opinions in much less depth than he usually would have. Frankly, he knew most of these people, so in his mind the only deserved half of a dismissive thought.

Thanks, Danny, he thought cynically once the Oliver-proclaimed "douche" spoke up to start their intros, before turning to Audrey. How geeky. You'd think she would keep her technological obsession a secret, but apparently these kids had no shame. Twins were equally as boring, but he appreciated the honourable mention Nathan gave to his team. Fox smirked, looking rather smug at the admission, and then nodded at Nate agreeably before the twin took his seat again. He couldn't uphold the pleasant look for very long, though, because the two girls (two? When had Em appeared?) before him were hissing comments to one another, not as nicely as he'd anticipated them to be. Jesus, their mood took a turn, and he couldn't even gauge why from the slight distance between them combined with their hushed voices. They didn't stay quiet for long, though, and Fox's eyebrow rose in curiosity at the tone both of them had adopted. Seemed like one had overstepped some boundaries. They hushed again, though, once the blonde lowered her voice and began uttering something still indiscernible. When physical attacks were being thrown, though, Fox didn't hide the fact that he was listening anymore; he turned his head to watch, both eyebrows raised in a deeply unimpressed expression.

Yikes. Chair on the floor, two upset girls, and a stray Fox made for a rather confusing looking situation. He realised how easily he could be implicated into this mess and sat back on his hands, looking innocuous as ever. Em's recovery was smoother than he could ever call himself, though, and he looked vaguely interested when she stood to make her introduction, pressing his hand up under his chin like he was watching a movie. He half-smiled, only one corner of his mouth rising, when she sat again, and something in him hinted that maybe he shouldn't look so entertained 'cos maybe this really was a sensitive situation. He retained the look, though, and nodded something akin to a respectful nice one, kid, before deciding it was none of his business whatever caused the hissy fit between her and Alex. Right - maybe he was a little curious, but he was fully aware that he wasn't close enough to Parker to ask. Some things were meant to stay out of his knowledge, truly. Like the name of whatever pissy Red teamer stood up next. He rolled his eyes at Math's tough guy act, but didn't bother speaking up about it. Felt like if he did he'd just get called a skid mark or something, if Mathius liked to keep a theme about his insults.

Jackson was loud, lovestricken, and not surprising at all to Fox, followed by whoever had captured him - Aisling. Ash, whatever. He found her pretty boring by comparison to the more hostile boy. Even more boring was the Grey and Green-not-Pink who stood next, almost in unison, and evidently close to one another, seeing as they seemed to comfort the other after Jackson's brashness. Another green, but even more unintelligible, came next, and he didn't care to even try and pick apart whatever she'd said - the twins from the same team were next, though, and he leaned back in semi-exasperation when they took turns in speaking. How typical. When Nessa spoke, though, he sat forward again, acting like she was the most intriguing thing he'd seen all day, and she predictably thanked everyone for their attention. Her introduction was probably the most gracious one thus far, Fox noted, and in this case that said more about her than the rest of the camp. As if he minded enough to humour her, he nodded in greeting to Holden, who says hi. Still didn't like him, as good an actor as he was.

He had a bad taste in his mouth when another Grey team member introduced herself. How awkward. These kids were acting like they were wearing clunky boots 13 sizes too big, and it was more cringey than anything else. Fox was just glad he'd never been that awkward in his life. Another self-proclaimed geek spoke up, and he raised an eyebrow at Audrey before going back to Shawn, unable to hide the twinge of disgust that rose to his features. Strange how proud they were. He'd not even taken notice of the new Purple member who'd been on his phone up until now, but he wasn't taken by the intro either way. "Theodore" was as plain as his name, and, evidently, someone rivalled his plainness: some newbie Green girl, fumbling with her words and looking like she was too scared to even stand. Fox almost agreed with the sweet-faced, cold-hearted Pink girl who got up next, but her wonderful beginning descended into some irrelevant tangent about her team pride. Case of the pathetics. Remind him to copy that.

The Grey leader was quick to shut her up, though, and Fox scoffed offhandedly when his team was insulted. Unnecessary, but expected, so his reaction was subtle. He thought, for a moment, with the interactive touch Ghost made out of his intro, no one could top it, but a very familiar pair of siblings entered, and Fox resisted the urge to straight-up clap his hands over his ears. They didn't have anything for him in terms of self-advancement, as much as they seemed to have perfect lives, so he didn't care for either Tate or Luisa... but they reminded him painfully of his own relationship with his sister. Hell, he even busked like the Demersons did with Anastasia, albeit with a guitar whilst Ana sang. He didn't often feel legitimate emotions, but nothing affected him more than his baby (barely nine months younger) sister and any reminders of her did. So, when they burst through the door with usual style and flair, complimenting each other supernaturally well, Fox couldn't squash the spark of jealousy that came to life in his brain. It seemed to show even through his eyes, pure sapphire orbs growing bright with hatred, before they finally stopped to make fairly juvenile introductions. He ignored them entirely once the music had quieted, though, just to spare himself any grief - besides, no one didn't already know their names.

The auburn haired who went next paled in comparison to them, and seemed to realise it. The self-awareness alone earned a tidbit of respect from Fox, but it immediately disappeared when she so cheesily introduced herself as some kind of token geek. Terrible. Slightly worse was the brief altercation between a Red and Pink - of course - who settled on letting the Pink go first, sparing the rest of the room. Fox regretted being on the sidelines when that happened, though, 'cos "Kitt" went on for what felt like hours, talking about something like how they should be more considerate or whatever. Fox rather preferred the way the Red teamer just got on with it, even if he disapproved of the unnecessary chair abuse. Seriously, these kids had raging hormones worse than he'd ever seen before. A proud Puerto Rican recovered the mood of the room somewhat, and if he was the type of person to thank her for it, he likely would - her intro was short, sweet, to the point. Still, Fox didn't even want to go up, but hey, how else could he make himself known? He waited until some pause had formed between his and Will's standing before peeling himself off of the gigantic chair he'd claimed this entire time.

He felt almost silly standing, considering he was still a towering figure even whilst sitting, but the added height his gangly legs gave him provided a slightly more dominant presence. Fox held his hands before him, clasping them in front of his hips regally, and gave a smug look to the kids all round prior to speaking. "I've not prepared anything special, and I don't think I'm the type to impulsively bully a chair, so don't expect anything." He basked in the limelight for a moment before continuing, a serene look overlapping his features. "Fox Bellamia, and I'm from Blue. Clearly. Here's to hoping we'll host a more... friendly competition this year." He'd made a far-fetched implication there, almost threatening to not be as friendly as he'd suggested through his frightening tone alone. A sound like that was nothing new from Fox, though, who always spoke like a menace.

Feeling Kitt move slightly closer set him on edge a little, but Oliver realised this shift was only to tell him something, so he leaned in a bit to reciprocate the movement and hear. He'd apparently changed his mind about disliking the gossip, but only because they were now able to pay attention to the people around them, and this 'Tis' individual was worrying. I don’t know much about her because I can’t understand her. Oliver looked at Kitt like he was insane. She was fairly understandable, in his opinion - well, maybe he was just better at codebreaking. And he was a Californian, too, so some of the bullcrap surfer lingo was already known. The translation from two obviously identical twins wasn't exactly needed by him in particular, but appreciated, and Oli looked to Kitt almost mechanically for his thoughts. When two individuals dedicated themselves to translating another person, it was harder to gauge your own opinion on them; consequently, Oliver would settle for Kitt's thoughts. It seemed Kitt didn't like them much, but Oli appreciated the boyish charm. Kind of. Still a little annoying.

"I know her," he breathed swiftly to Kitt, nearly steamrolling the shorter boy's words in his enthusiasm. Not as precious as you, but still very precious. He squinted at Kitt suspiciously, wondering for the umpteenth time why he was being so nice, before distracting himself with Nessa again. "She gave me a wish." A dandelion, actually, but he didn't have time to correct himself before she was introducing someone named Holden for him. Kitt's description was fairly vague, but Oli studied the boy curiously, trying to understand exactly what kind of cliche he fit in to. It was odd that Holden was with Nessa, of all people, because from the looks of it and how he seemed to not quite respond to his surroundings, he looked pretty solitary. Oli resisted the urge to come up with some fairytale backstory that made him this way, but one couldn't expect such self-control from Oliver Cash. He studied Holden and decided he must not dress in the same way he was brought up. His secretive-mysterious attitude could be attributed to bad parenting (did they make no attempts to bring him confidence?), or a big family (it explained being sent to a summer camp, honestly), or something related to attention; maybe he was just quiet because he was listening. Oli reminded himself not to be so hypocritical.

Jesus, Ariel had a much more biting tongue than he'd expected. His previous short-winded observations of her were crumbling with how quickly she shot at Kitt (Alton?) and moved on past her rudeness, only to make a hell of an introduction. Slightly awkward, but you could forgive her. I think you make them more civil, Oli. Strange to hear the Pink say his name, and he shuddered away slightly like it was an attack, before registering the words. He disagreed completely. None of this was very civil at all, in his mind, but perhaps he had a weak understanding of how wild things could get here. The intro from someone named Shawn was surprisingly tame - this guy looked quite nice - suppose all 'geeks' are, as Kitt described him - and Oli felt like the room had been finally blessed with someone trustworthy, before another, darker male stood. Oli'd made some quick, biased decisions before, but this was probably the worst as of late: he'd caught sight, even briefly, of the look this boy gave Ash before she disappeared with Jackson, and while he didn't hear the contents of that call, he still didn't quite like the strange attention Aisling received. Unnerved, he barely listened to the pleased sound Kitt made at 'Theodore.' The Pink made up for it with an offhand comment about the kid's fashion sense, though, and Oli quirked a forced smile at him before returning his gaze to the room.

He felt sort of bad for... Nicoletta, it sounded like, if he understood any of that mumbling. He was pretty sure that, if he had to give an introduction, he'd be like her. Kitt's story about someone fainting a year prior made his anxiety slightly worse, because that sounded exactly like something he'd do. Ignoring the image that came to his mind of him falling smack to the ground, he listened to Kitt make up for the comment, slightly reassured in hearing that even Kitt was a little nervous his first time here. The shorter boy was quick to move on, though, and turn his attention to a girl from his own team: Hana. Had to admit, something about her rough intro unsettled Oli, and he looked uncertainly towards Kitt. ...most favorite bitch... All right, Kittredge, settle down. He couldn't hide his amusement when he heard Kitt swearing - it just sounded so strange, unnatural. Even so, he hd to question Kitt's judgment, because this 'bitch' didn't seem all that lovely to be around. Even the little attempt at reaffirmation that Kitt made didn't help. Oli was pretty sure that, for some people, his face alone made him seem like a target. So, he didn't take the words as a compliment like he should've; Oli just looked away with something of a cold shoulder.

And here comes Ghost, loud and proud. It occurred to Oliver that there was something strikingly different in Ghost's behaviour around Ash and his attitude in front of a crowd. He didn't want to dwell on it for long, honestly - Oli had already made his judgments for the Grey leader, and really didn't want to muck that up any further than he already had. He half-expected Kitt to say something to Ghost, especially after the incident in the lobby, but music began playing. Loudly. He was startled and overwhelmed, sure, but his eyes focused in to watch whatever they were doing (if only as a self-defense mechanism, because if he tuned out during such a brash routine, he was afraid of some sort of violent turn of events). The brother looked to be flirting with everyone via the use of his drum and his eyes, which would've amused Oliver had he not been caught so off-guard; the sister had a hypnotizing way of moving whilst she played, and seemed to be doing something similar (if more subtle) to her brother's flirtations. They were moving toward the 'Pack' now, and Oliver looked towards Kitt helplessly, but he seemed purely annoyed by the show. He felt eyes on him vaguely and turned his attention from the redhead to her brother, realising he was the source - Jesus, as soon as he made eye contact, he quickly looked to the floor, searching for something of interest to distract himself with. No such luck. The song ended, and that was good enough for him.

It was only when the room grew quieter that he realised his heart was pounding, and his ears were ringing just slightly from the shift in volume. He really hadn't been prepared for this place, and he was only realising it fully now. Back home, everything was quiet as long as Dad was out by six, even if it was stressful all the time. This, though... never before was he so prepared for an all-out anxiety attack. It became apparent that the siblings were part of Grey in no time. because now the brother was drawing closer, specifically to Oli. On edge, he leaned away from the blond, only to be met by a smile and a very gently-spoken compliment. He pursed his lips, unable to hide the hostility that flared through his eyes, but thank God - Tate had already turned around to make some big announcement. He noted the synchronization of 'at your service' and the glance sent toward him with a bad taste in his mouth. Oli'd expected to get little to no attention when he came here, but apparently, there weren't enough new kids to torture. He didn't look away, though; instead, Oli was staring coldly at Tate's back as he sat on the floor, not breaking the contact even when his sister began speaking. Take it from a ten to a two, Oliver, he could hear his mother's voice, and slowly dragged his gaze away from the Demerson on the ground to the one who was apparently inviting everyone listening to a liplocking session.

He was about ready to actually physically attack someone when she addressed him in particular, almost as loud as their music, and apparently disregarding his feelings in their sibling semi-rivalry. He didn't even bother looking for the source of a voice that followed, presumably belonging to this 'Fauna Fontaine,' instead watching as Kitt excused himself. He didn't notice the little struggle for a chair, concerned more with Luisa. Oliver stared at her openly, his head turned til his chin was adjacent to his shoulder, like he was trying to nonverbally call her out for targeting him. He did, however, lose interest and catch sight of the mini-argument between Kitt and a Red, short-lived because Kitt was just that powerful with his verbal sway. He knew the Kitt basics by now, so the beginning of his intro didn't pertain to him, but the second and third points were very obviously directed not only toward the Demersons, but himself as well. Oli widened his eyes at Kitt once the Pink glanced back at him, trying to meet his gaze, and unintentionally looked rather threatening. Too late. The fourth point was worst of all. He stared between Kitt and the Demersons that he'd come so close to challenge, half-expecting some struggle to break out (he was pretty sure Luisa would take down not only her own brother, but Kitt, too), but none did so far.

He spoke quietly beneath "Freckles" while the boy took the spotlight again. "Don't —" Oli cut himself off, the wild look in his eyes turning away from Kitt briefly. He wanted to say don't ever do that again, or don't talk to me, or something coldhearted as he always did, but he knew Kitt was just doing his best to help. Oliver tried, only relatively successfully, to rid himself of the feral affectation all his features had undertaken. "Don't be sorry." Not such a great recovery, but he offered a half-smile to make up for it before jumping slightly at the clattering chair. Jesus, this room never liked to calm down. Thankfully, a girl with the best complexion he'd ever seen stood gracefully, nothing resembling anxiety in her expression - what an inspiration, he thought. She seemed to take hold of the room and nurse it back to normalcy after that mess of events, and Oli looked on somewhat gratefully, making a point to remember her name. A Pink member. Maybe he'd have Kitt introduce him to her.

Deciding that the now calm aura was all right for him to cut through, Oliver stood, although he probably should have waited longer. Nothing about his face read that he was okay. In fact, Oli looked half-wild after being stimulated so heavily, going into sensory overdrive. Call him overdramatic, but he was a mess. "Um... I guess my name is obvious... from that," he managed, referring to Kitt's wonderful namedrop, forcing out a hint of laughter. He really wasn't too bad at public speaking, but having to do it juxtaposed with agoraphobia... this wasn't exactly the most comfortable situation. "I'm Oliver Cash, fifteen, and I'm a new member of the Grey team, and—" He came pretty damn close to admitting how homicidal he was feeling after all of that, or how much he was hating everyone here, or that he was from Emeryville. One of these things is not like the others. Nevertheless, he didn't feel like any of them were necessary. He cleared his throat, looking like a deer in headlights. "...thank you." He quickly sat down, appearing to have been shot with some invisible bullet, and didn't meet anyone's eyes. Probably for the best. His were kind of scary for now.

Location: Infirmary
Interacting With: Each Other @lovely complex

Entering the infirmary, with no staff member in it, Aisling let her mask drop as the incident in the lobby with Alex (Ghost) flooded her mind. What people knew of her face as harsh was rather vulnerable and her chocolate orbs saddened. The incident truly got her nerves shaken up. Why? She didn’t expect the first day of camp to get her this worked up - it never did (until this morning). By far, today was definitely one of the more eventful first days she's experienced.

Jackson and Adielle going at it, Theodore was here for a reason that was beyond her, and Alex was still very much a child, especially for an eighteen year old.

Another factor that added to her underlining sadness was the fact that this was her last summer here and soon, she would have to transition from teen to adult. Sure, she was on the mature side compared to most teenagers but being an adult only meant more expectations from her parents and from herself. Ash didn't even know what she wanted to do with her life. As of now, once the summer was over she would be a Business, Management and Marketing Major at Columbia University. Not completely sold on her course of actions, Ash reluctantly did what her mother wanted her to do rather than truly think of her own future. How did some kids know exactly what they wanted to do when they were her age? Or even younger? Ash could hardly think about her game plan for one day and here her mother was expecting her to get married within the next five years and become a successful trophy wife. Her mother simply believed Business would provide her with stability regardless if Ash finished or not. The possibility that her daughter could potentially find a rich entrepreneur to marry was really all that mattered to the socialite woman.

The nurse usually came a day late, so today the kids had better hope to God they didn’t break a leg. If they did, it was straight to the hospital they went. Thankfully, Jackson’s hands could be mended by a first aid kit. Going to the sink, Aisling opened a drawer beside it and pulled out the kit and Neosporin. After placing the items on the counter, she stared out the window above the sink, gazing upon the vacant camp grounds (since most, if not all students were in the Main Hall). Quiet and lost in the trap of her mind, she took a deep breath in to gather her thoughts, closing her eyes to allow them to pass her by. Gently exhaling, not paying attention to her surroundings, she had forgotten where she was or who she was waiting for. The main reason she left the Mess Hall was to have a second to herself. Why did she care so much about other people's well beings, to the point that she didn't know how to take care of herself? Carrying other people's problems was one hell of a burden to bear, but it was her's to carry and although she was upset right now, she didn't mind making everyone's lives easier and safe.

This wasn't his first time at the rodeo and it was most likely wasn't going to be his last. Time and time again Jackson had always gotten injured. Sometimes they were minor like cuts and scraps(his current injury). However, on occasion, they were more serious than that. The most recent, of course, was what he told Ash and the other Grey Wolves. He nearly broke his leg a month or so ago. For him to be back in any kind of physical injury state wasn't an uncommon sight. It wasn't even an uncommon sight for Ash to be there with him. For as long as he had been here at Camp Liberty and had been tight with Aisling Hawthorne, there wasn't a time that he got hurt that she was nearby. Some call it convenience, some call it divine intervention. Jackson never really paid any mind to either of those. He just knew that, through whatever means, Ash always had his back — even when he didn't deserve it. Today was one of those days. Still, after what he did at Introductions, Jackson had to wonder if she had changed her mind at all. If she did, then good for him. However, if she didn't, then well, he was in store for one hell of a verbal beatdown, perhaps even physical.

Just keep calm, Jackson! She won't do that. She's gotta patch you up first. Just open the conversation with something. Jackson looked up at Ash who was still at the sink, seemingly gazing out the window. Okay, she's distracted, so whatever you say may not get through 100%. You have a chance. Jackson made that mental note before speaking. "Hey Ash, you all good over there?" Jackson inquired cautiously. He didn't want to ask the wrong thing just in case she was still mad at him. Though, if she was, she wouldn't want to be near him. Still, better safe than sorry. Coming from Jackson that's probably a bit off and very unlike him, but Ash isn't just anybody to him - she's the apple to his cinnamon.

Realizing she dazed out when Jackson's voice trailed into her head, Ash looked down at the sink, quiet and to herself. Turning it on and making sure it was a temperature that wouldn't hurt him too bad, though it was still going to sting, she gestured for him to walk to her, "Come here." After deliberately not answering his question, the brunette figured the boy didn't bother washing his hands to prevent infections. Waiting patiently for him, she hoped he didn't inquire further about how she felt-- not one to talk about her "feelings". Trying to rebuild her mask before he reached her, the withdrawn woman took a deep breath in and just waited.

She never answered his question. Typical Ash was typical. Whenever someone asked her about how she was feeling, regardless if it was good or bad, she didn't want to say so. It was that part of her that Jackson both loved to death and became insanely furiated at. Being a guy that was so open about how he felt, Jackson never found it difficult to say if he was doing pretty good or if he was in a shit mood. He never had any problem stating if he felt like punching a bitch out or just ignoring everyone altogether. Those that knew him always had that idea about him.

But Aisling Hawthorne wasn't like that - Ash wasn't like that. Jackson let out a partially-contained sigh as he got up, and walked five large steps the right of Ash. He put his hands over the sink, next to the pouring water. His eyes were on Ash, doing something that he hardly ever did: stayed silent and observed her. That and he was just waiting for her to do the thing.

With her soft, yet firm hands, the woman, who wanted to detract his thoughts from her, if that was even possible, gently touched his wounded hands and pulled them gingerly under the water for a moment or two. Once they looked well rinsed, she grabbed a nearby wash cloth and gave attention to his right hand first, wrapping it and adding pressure to make sure all his cuts and scrapes were no longer bleeding. Ash was always one for precautions. Methodical in her ways, she did the same with the other hand.

Jackson felt the stinging sensation from the water on his cuts. It stung more than he thought it was going to. Sure, punching a brick wall six times(three per hand) wasn't the smartest idea he had all day, but he didn't think the cleaning of the cuts would actually give him real pain. He would have to make a mental note to not do it again. If he was angry, he would punch a pillow. Brick walls were never meant to be anger-filled punch-friendly.

While she did this, Ash gave a faux smile, trying to ease his worry, "So... what other things did you do this year besides hurt yourself? Any adventures? Love affairs?" The last part was a joke, but hey, if there were other women he noticed besides her, she would be okay with that. It wasn't like they were an item or anything.

"Love affair? My, my, Ash, are you trying to find out if I banged any chicks while I was away from you?" Jackson popped a curious grin.

As the woman released him, her chocolate orbs glaringly darted at him, Wouldn't you like to know, Jackie Boy. After turning off the sink, the brunette grabbed the Neosporin, not needing hydrogen peroxide, which could be irritating to the tissue already injured, she directed him to lay out his hands in front of her. Helping the surface stay moist, she applied a thin layer of the antibiotic cream on them, in no rush whatsoever.

She was calm. Nothing was wrong.

"Yes, that's why I asked." Jackson retorted.

"Your love life is none of my business. Forget I even asked." she defensively added. Soon Ash would have to cover his hands with bandage tape, which only meant their 'alone time' would end. It was rare for them to have these kind of moments, since she usually was always with her teammates and when she was alone with him, they were exercising. She'd have to check on him everyday to make sure he changed his bandage. Oddly enough, the woman had no idea how much her subconscious made her naturally take care of him. Out of all the people here at camp, not once did she question her actions toward Jackson. Ash simply felt obligated to care for him. It was most likely because of her motherly nature, more so with him than anyone else. People thought she was insane for putting herself in front of a hotheaded beast, but she couldn't care less about what other people thought. One day, he would surely get himself killed and she wanted to prevent his death for as long as she could.

He watched her and the handiwork she was doing to his hands. She had done this so many times that, at this point, it seemed as if it was nothing to her. Apply some antibiotic cream here, some Neosporin there, and neatly wrap it in some bandages. If Jackson didn't know better, he would have the thought that Ash was going to be a doctor at some point. If not, then she just did this way too often. But as great of a job as she was doing, that didn't set aside the fact that she simply dropped a subject that she brought up. Jackson hated when she did that. It didn't make him angry at her per-se, but just rather that right when he was about to answer her, she dropped it altogether, citing that it wasn't her business. The hell it wasn't! You're important to me, Ash. Of course you would want to ask about what chicks I might have or might not have banged. Well, that's what he wanted to say.

"Why do you always do that, Ash? Last year you did the same thing: you asked about my love life and right when I was about to tell you, it was dropped." Jackson said frustrated. "I'm a lot of things Ash. Impulsive? You bet. Having a great disregard to my surroundings? Always. Don't act before I think? Again, you bet, but never ever have I been dishonest with you." he said. Jackson didn't really know where he was going with this, but he gave a sigh. "If you only let me tell you, I would. I have no reason to keep anything from you." Jackson gave Ash a subtle wink. "For the record, no I didn't have any love affairs." he added not-so-subtly.

For someone who talked without thinking before he opened his mouth, Jackson was making more sense than Ash, who was known for being the rational one. He surprisingly knew her better than she thought and caught onto her habits… as if he cared. No matter how many times he professed his love to her, Ash would continue to believe he wasn't. She wasn’t ready. She never would be. The more he talked, the more she felt like her mask would drop at any moment. After the wink, the anxious woman glanced down to her medical project, avoiding all eye contact, which was an odd thing for the woman with the piercing stare. Ash went to grab the tape to wrap his hands, now faster, as if she was trying to cut short whatever 'this' was.

The only reason why you answered was because I took back my words. It doesn’t matter anymore. Thanks for telling me, but it’s not like I care.” Why was her words coming out more hurtful than she intended them to be? “Besides, I’m not going to be here for too long. You shouldn’t even waste your time with me.” Shut up. Just leave. Don’t ruin your friendship over something so meaningless.

"Ash."

You’re a friend. And that’s all you’ll ever be to me, Jackson.” Phew. Taking a deep sigh, she brought her eyes back to his and gave him a serious look that read: I mean what I said. With that, she hurriedly tried to clean up, “We should get going.” She wanted to run away…

"Ash.."

Picking up all the supplies, she put it in the drawer, not looking back at him. Today was a terrible day for her emotions. "There. Clean." Readying herself to speed walk out the door, she turned her body away from him. Now look who's acting impulsively.

"ASH!" Jackson grabbed her arm. Despite how much the bandaged limb might have hurt, he held tightly onto her hand. Tightly his fingers squeezed her wrist until she had no choice but to notice the desperate notion for her to just stay and look at him. The squeeze was probably good enough, but right when she would have to look at him, she would see it: a look that Jackson rarely had in his eyes. It was an unfamiliar gleam that most only had once in a blue moon, but for Jackson Drake it was seeing Big Foot - no one knows if he's there or not until they actually see him, even then it's not 100% guaranteed.

His grip on her was rather tight. Wouldn’t that hurt his wounds? His voice trembled. Ash didn’t even have to turn to imagine how he looked but she knew whatever she was imagining, he was probably ten times worse. Why couldn’t she be mature about this and just stay? I’m scared. She thought to herself. Not only did Ash fear looking at him, but she knew if she did he would see a face she hasn’t revealed to anyone, not even Alex and that’s saying something. Alex saw more than most people ever did when it came to her but never her vulnerability… no, she wouldn’t allow it. No one should see that side of her. It was ugly. Why couldn’t she be strong? Everyone needed someone to rely on and a weak person wasn’t one of them. The seconds passed in silence, as she felt the beating in her chest. She could run away or stay… give him a chance to talk or… hurt him.

What’s it going to be, Ash?

Um…” A woman, who was normally good with words, couldn’t speak. Her body wasn’t letting her pull away, no, it just froze in position. Why?

Take a deep breath, you can do this. Closing her eyes, she did as her mind told her. Steadily, she turned her body to face him completely. Opening her eyes… but not having the courage to look at his face, she stared at his grasp on her. Aisling was no longer a mother in front of him. It was as if she was five years old, entering a dark place alone. Not able to look straight, terrified of what was ahead of her, looking down because she couldn’t handle not knowing where she was going... a child. She was a child.

I’m sorry…” Ash softly muttered.

She's sorry; sorry for what? Jackson didn't know what she was sorry for. She didn't run away, so that at least was good, but Jackson still didn't know what she was sorry for. Was it because she didn't want to tackle the elephant in the room? Was it because she had brought up a subject that she had swiftly - or so she thought - ended by dropping it? Jackson hadn't the slightest clue. Only thing that he knew and that was obvious in both the way that she didn't make eye contact and her tone of voice was that Ash was struggling with something.

"Hey, Ash," Jackson released his grip from her hand, and brought his other one underneath her chin to allow their eyes to meet. "What's wrong? You know you can talk to me, right?" he said sweetly. Jackson was doing a lot of firsts. He was thinking before he spoke, he wasn't yelling at the top of his lungs, and he was actually being reasonable and understanding. Must be a leap year.

Her gaze only weakened when she stared deeply into his blue green sea. You can talk to me. How many times did she hear those words and how many times did she keep quiet? She was not the strong mother figure everyone wanted her to be, or at least, right now, she felt like she could collapse at any moment for not being a sturdy foundation for others or for herself. Especially for herself.

I’m fine. I’ll be fine.” she answered in the most apprehensive tone, while trying to get her sight out of the ocean of his gaze.

"Ash, no you're not. I know you're not." Jackson stated.

He knew she wasn't. Her obvious stubbornness to still avoid his eyes. Even though Jackson was trying his best to make her look into his eyes, it seemed to not work - and the pain in his hands wasn't going away any time soon. Something had to give and Jackson didn't want to lose - not this time.

"Ash, if you can look me straight-dead in the eyes and tell me that everything okay and that you're not feeling fifthy shades of fucked up, I'll believe you. If you can tell me, without a shadow of a doubt, one-hundred-percent, swear on the pride of the Grey Team, that you're fine, and nothing is wrong, I'll leave you alone. If you can do that, then I'll gladly let you walk out that door. However," Jackson gave her the most attentive stare he could muster up, "if even for one second I catch a glimpse that you aren't as you say you are, then you're going to tell me everything. You're gonna sit here with me on that bed or in a chair next to that bed, and tell me what's eating away at you." Jackson said, crossing his arms across his chest. That was his way of offering up a handshake to seal the deal, but obviously he can't since they're a bit tied up at the moment.

Why was he so fucking persistent? It’s wasn’t easy spilling out her emotions and if she did, it could backfire and someone could use her issues against her. Why was he so adamant to know her problems? Ash wasn’t even that interesting. Her mind was battling sadness and frustration because he wouldn’t just give the hell up. MOST PEOPLE THAT WERE INTERESTED IN HER DID. The constant word that entered her mind was WHY. Why was he trying so hard when it gave him nothing in return? His words raced through her head, she couldn’t contemplate if she was glad he wouldn’t stop until he got to her or that she was annoyed as fuck at his bold attempt to break into her world. Looking up at him as he crossed his arms, seriously believing he could get her to freely tell him everything, her fierce glare mentally questioned him.

Just hug me, you idiot.” The woman wasn’t the type to open up that easily, they could stay in this room all day and she wouldn’t waiver. He should know better than to believe he could win. This was as far as she was going to meet him for this session. There was no way in hell she was going to say anything personal. His words had lit a fire in her, which unintentionally revealed to him how much his words meant to her. Ash wasn’t one to get riled up, but for Jackson, hell she could get rather feisty and didn’t even realize it. At least, she didn’t look sad anymore.

"Now that's the Ash that I know and love" Jackson purposely made sure that she heard his accentation of love. As much he professed his feelings for Ash in such a robust way that she had no choice but to at least acknowlege that he felt that type of way for her, Jackson genuinely smiled when she invited him to hug him. Even though her tone of voice was of the usual variety that Ash always took when she was trying to hide certain things from him, Jackson would silently admit defeat. Yeah, just like Ash, Jackson also liked to win. Regardless, he would take her in to an embrace as she instructed.

When Jackson had his arms around her, thier bodies close together, Jackson chuckled. "So, any chance of me getting to second base?" Jackson asked.

Usually in this type of scenario, the she-wolf would roll her eyes, tsk, and maybe even say something witty in response but instead… she would ‘play along’. Batting her eyes rather playfully, she traced her fingers down his chest, “I could give you a little something…” Her voice trailed off, as she pulled him closer to her breasts. She was close enough to feel the heat coming out of his lips. Letting her breathing pick up, as if she were getting excited herself, she gave him that oh-so-familiar challenging stare. Bringing her lips close to his ear, Ash whispered, “But what’s in it for me?” Sure, this made her sound like a whore but he should know that she wouldn’t just give him a piece of her without him becoming her bitch or something. Her tempting red wine voice was truly put to use right now as she let out a light giggle and nibbled on his ear.

You know… I’m not easy, Jackie boy.” Her lips touched his neck gently, giving him sweet and hot kisses, that he probably only dreamed of having. Glancing up at him with her alluring eyes, she asked, “How bad do you want to kiss me?” If he did one simple thing for her, she could give him the world.

"Uh, uh.." Jackson said, blank eyes blinking.

Of all times for Jackson to be speechless, why was now the time? It could have happened five minutes ago, or even when he was running his mouth against Adielle. No, Jackson obviously had to run his mouth then. He could have held his tongue when doing his introduction, but he had to get Ash's forgiveness somehow. Of course, he did get it. He couldn't stop his rhetoric when trying to figure out what was wrong with Ash, but he dug, and found the golden treasure.

And now he found himself here. In the arms of Ash, her breasts literally pressing against his chest, they were like two plush pillows of awesomeness. Jackson should be thinking about what he wanted to do to them, but the only thing going through his mind was if she was somehow pulling a fast one on him. He wondered if she was pranking him. If she was and he fell for it, would she show it to him in some form that only pranks could. The Gray Team was known for that, after all - and that's what had Jackson having a mini-mental breakdown.

Even if she is, only one way to find out. Jackson had decided. Following that, the embrace between them was broken, and Jackson was once again looking into Ash's beautiful eyes. He cause the glimmer of a tease in her eyes - something that he was rather fond of. "Ash, you have no idea how bad I do." Whoa, did Jackson just say that? Yeah, pretty sure he did - and what Jackson did next was him returning to impulsive Jackson.

Regardless of the pain in his hands, Jackson's desperate pull of Ash's waist to his direction took precedence over it as their lips met. She wanted to know how badly he wanted to kiss her. How's forsaking all friendship boundaries and going right for the money for "badly wanting to kiss her?".

Classic Jackson. The room was private and no one witnessed their shared moment. It was as if they were the only ones that mattered. If Ash didn’t like their lips locking, she would have pulled away. Instead, she closed her eyes, showing that for once, she would give in to him. Her body relaxed in his hold, as she felt something different about this kiss than she had experienced with others. Her stomach actually felt light and her heart skipped a beat… what? As much as she wanted to continue, her face was bound to flood red. No… no. This won’t do.

Abruptly pulling her lips away from him before either of them could get any tongue action, she lightly exhaled, “It wasn’t entirely a prank. You can take that kiss as a thank you.

A thank you for being here for me.

Using all her might to squirm out of his embrace, cutting their intimate scene short, she stumbled out. Scratching her head, a little embarrassed about how his kiss made her feel (not understanding it necessarily), she carefully looked at him.

Win a race… and we’ll continue where we left off at our ‘date’.” she winked at him and puckered her lips.

With her intimidating yet loving gaze, Ash warned, “But don’t think for a second, I’ll go easy on you.

Jackson laughed; not negatively, though. No, this was the kind of laugh that said—Oh I don't count on it. In fact, I encourage you act like this didn't happen.—yes, that kind of laugh. Jackson's smirk only cemented what kind it was, and how eager he was to win the race. Originally it was just to get a date, but now that Jackson was pretty sure there was something there in Ash's heavily-guarded heart for him, Jackson was more determined than ever to win that race, and see where they would go from there.

"You better not. I told you in the Main Hall!" Jackson said, pounding his chest twice with a single hand. "I'll win a race with you and romance the fuck out you, Ash." Jackson stood there, proud, and still smiling. Only was it a moment later that his face lit up with such agony that red was filling the right bandage of his right hand. "SHIT FUCK TITS ASS!" And there was the cursing of agony that Jackson foresaw coming. He so wanted to bang his hand against a wall, but that's how he got into this predicament in the first place.

Rolling her eyes in a friendly manner, Ash decided to go back to the drawer and take medical supplies with her... just in case. After taking off her book bag, she placed all the items she had used to clean Jackson's hands up in it. The woman would like to think she was borrowing the items so she wouldn't have to go to the Infirmary to fix him up, "You need to be more careful." Time after time, the Mother Wolf told the reckless man to take care of himself, and time after time, he didn't. It was in his nature to do something stupid, ultimately with the end result of hurting himself. Hopefully by him seeing her take these things, he could assume the Grey Cabin was open for him to visit so she could clean his cuts and bruises. She didn't want to outwardly state that she was here for him, but the brunette would like to believe that her actions spoke louder than words.

Zipping up her bag and putting it back on her back, the darkly clad woman turned her body toward the door. Bringing her attention back to the man she had just shared an intimate moment with, Ash made an internal decision in her head as she scanned his face. She would most definitely try to forget this scene. As much as Aisling wanted to entertain a romantic relationship with Jackson, there was no way she would allow herself to consider him something more than just a friend with occasional benefits. Ash couldn't afford to get heavily involved with someone, especially since this was her last summer here. Plus, love made people fickle and she didn't want to lose her way because she cared about someone too much.

"Let's get out of here, Daredevil." Her voice returned to the tone that the whole camp knew best: assertive, confident, motherly, slightly harsh, and with an underling baracade hidden beneath all of that. Walking ahead, she pulled the door open and turned to look back at him, giving him a pure smile that not many others, besides Alex, get to see, "I look forward to the race tomorrow."

When Audrey sat down, she had noticed that the first set of twins, Nathan and Nicholas were next to introduce themselves to the group that had gathered in the hallow, main hall. She snickered slightly at Nathan’s comment along with a few other people then moved a few strands of her hair out of her face while waiting for more introductions to take place. Her eyes caught sight of Emilie, who introduced herself as if she was a female James Bond or something - It made her do a slight eye roll. When she practically gloated about the blue team victories over the years, another eye roll came from as she was thinking ‘Okay. Next!’ to herself.

Her phone buzzed softly on the table before her as she saw Mathias’ name come across the screen. She read his message and raised a brow at the short response. Speaking of Mathias, he was next to introducing himself. A slight blush came over her cheeks when he represented the red team but that quickly went away when he called a guy shit stains. Audrey’s face met her palm as she sighed. ‘Damn, Mathias. If this was Hogwarts, we would’ve lost points!’ She mentally said to herself while sighing again. She then saw another fellow red team member, Jackson, introduce himself as she again facepalmed herself. ‘What the fuck though?!’ Audrey thought to herself. Was she going to be the only one on her team that had somewhat of self-control? It was getting a bit exhausting thinking about it but she shrugged her shoulders and continued to watch Jackson made a fool of himself. At least, in her own opinion, he was making a fool out of himself.

While shaking her head, she had wished that someone would introduce themselves fast so that everyone can get their minds off of what had just transpired. Next was Eli, from the grey team. His persona fit into the team perfectly well, she thought so. His introduction was short and simple and that was how Mathias and Jackson’s should’ve been without the extra stuff. Her eyes went towards another girl, Adielle, who was on the green team despite her pink colors. When she yelled that her team was going to crush everyone, Audrey raised a brow with a slight smirk. ‘Oh, pfft. Yeah, right.’ Audrey thought while hearing her ending that she still loved everyone while winking. That honestly made Audrey laugh a little though. She jumped slightly, which she tried playing off with a flip of her hair, when someone yelled that green was representing. It was one of the other set of twins there, Erin and Finn.

Her eyes went over towards the green team leader, Atlantis, as Audrey was so confused about what she was saying. Atlantis then asked for her fellow team members, Erin and Finn, to translate for her. ‘Please. Someone translate that.’ She thought while looking over towards the other set of twins, who seemed they were going to be next to introducing themselves to the crowd before them. Audrey looked at the twins and was even more confused about their introduction as she just waved it off. The same thought as before came back to her mind. ‘Okay. Next!’ Her mind was now spinning after those last two introductions and she really didn’t want to hear anymore but she couldn’t just get up and leave. Next was Aisling, which Jackson had kind of introduced her earlier but she added her team color then that she was going to take Jackson to the medical hall, to be treated for his wounds.

“Uhm..” Escaped over Audrey’s lips as she raised a slight brow at them both. She would have to get the inside scoop on the situation later. Her then fell upon a girl named Nessa. She was so adorable. Sweet and innocent – Then again, she was only sixteen years of age. She just wanted to go up to Nessa and give her a hug then pinch her cheeks. She was so cute. After Nessa’s introduction, she stood up and whispered towards Sierra. “I can’t take this any longer. See you around, girl.” She patted her on the back then went up to Daniel and batted her eyelashes with a flirty smile. “I’m not feeling well, mind if I go to the medical area?” She asked softly as Daniel nodded his head and she thanked him while walking outside towards the medical area but past it and went into the cabin, sitting on her bed and getting her PSP out and started gaming. The introductions were boring her so she just had to get away – Especially from all of the cursing and such. She wasn’t a goody two shoes or anything but being around all that profanity made her a bit uncomfortable.

After their introductions along with Audrey’s, it seemed like everyone else had hit the Richter scale and broke it with all of their introductions. Most of the introductions were a little bit over the top but others were short and simple, like the rest of them should’ve been. Nathan sat there, almost falling asleep as Nicholas nudged him, waking him up. “So boring.” Nathan muttered while seeing three people leave as he wanted to leave as well.

It was then when it came all down to Nessa’s introduction that Nicholas was paying attention. He applauded after her introduction then sent a thumbs up her way. He leaned over towards Nathan and whispered in his ear. “See, I told you that she wasn’t weird.” Nathan looked at Nicholas with a raised brow. “Kidding me. She reminds me of a female version of Olaf. I bet she likes warm hugs.” Nathan responded to his brother while shaking his head. “You’re so mean sometimes.” Nicholas responded with an eye roll while looking at Alessandros. “When are you going to introduce yourself, stud?” A soft smile came over his lips as he continued to watch people introduce themselves.

Nathan and Nicholas watched as Serafina introduced herself to everyone and it was one of the most awkward introductions that they had ever witnessed. Nicholas shook his head while Nathan had his hand over his mouth, snickering. “Stop it.” Nicholas muttered while nudging him again. They watched as Shawn introduced himself as Nicholas leaned back over towards Nicholas and whispered. “Might want to show your team how to introduce themselves.” Nathan eyed Nicholas as Theodore was next to speak. ‘He’s kind of cute.’ Nicholas thought to himself while staring Theodore up and down, hoping that Alessandros wasn’t watching the display. Nathan looked at Nicholas and leaned towards Nicholas. “Might want to wipe the drool up there.” He spoke as Nicholas glared at him.

A few more introductions went by and they were getting more and more extravagant along with a bit over the top. Speaking of over the top, Nicholas jumped when two campers came in, playing instruments as his brother looked at him with a raised brow and he did the same back towards him. “Someone knows how to make an entrance.” Nathan said as they campers stopped playing then introduced themselves as Tate and Luisa. “Got to admire their musical ability though.” Nicholas said with a thumbs up towards the duo, applauding them, as well.

As a few introductions went by, but none was as flashy as Tate’s and Luisa’s even though someone named William did kick a chair but still not as flashy, it was Fiorella turn and Nathan seemed a bit taken by her but snapped out of it. This summer, he was going to try to not fall for anyone. But never know when that might change or not. Even a few more introductions had gone by and it seemed like almost everyone had went. Daniel clapped his hands together to gather everyone’s attention while speaking.

“If you haven’t heard by now, I am Daniel Hill. Mr. Hill, if you prefer but I prefer Daniel. Anyways, that concludes introductions for now but don’t worry if you didn’t get to introduce yourself, your time will come sometime later but for right now, you guys can do whatever just do not forget the BBQ tonight. Some good eating coming your way.” Daniel said with a laugh while exiting the main hall and a trail of girls even a few guys following him, leaving the kids to do whatever. Nathan turned towards Nicholas and Alessandros with a raised brow. “So, what are we doing?” Nicholas shrugged his shoulders while letting go of Alessandros hand. “I’m fixing to go back by the lake and work on some Martial Arts moves.” With that said, he got up and walked off, heading towards the lake.

Nathan got up as well, going towards his cabin, not really paying attention to the people that he past while walking into his cabin. He laid down on his bed, back first, looking up at the ceiling, drifting off to sleep to take a brief nap.

Interacting With: Audrey @HushedWhispers, My first fan! Cassidy @flightless-angel-castiel, Cupid's arrow hit me when I saw Elijah@Altered Tundra

Audrey had laughed at Sierra's eye-candy comment, but didn't have much time to dwell on things when Sierra was about to catch up on that pretty little ass of hers. Knowing she was close to losing, she paused the game to give some thought to her question, but not before taking the chance to reprimand Sierra for thinking about eye candy.

"Hey, you can't blame me for wanting to get back into the swing of things this summer. It's been a long while since I've had some action, so what better chance to make a come-back than in a summer camp? I mean, here, you can fool around with as many as you want and go back home with no ties or any evidence," Sierra said cheerfully, clearly looking forward to the prospect. Though she might appear as a mynx to most, the truth of the matter was that she hadn't been with anyone besides her ex-boyfriend Leo or her best friend Tommy... But that was beside the point. After a brief pause, she added with a chuckle: "If you don't get pregnant or an STD, that is!" That would be her worst nightmare.

To Sierra's chagrin, Audrey seemed to ignore her. She had unpaused the game and resumed playing without answering Sierra. In an attempt to make Audrey pay attention to her, Sierra placed her controller on the floor, crossed her arms in front of her and let her scowling eyes dig holes on Audrey's figure. Realizing things wouldn't be going anywhere unless she gave Sierra some kind of reply, Audrey caved in, telling Sierra that though there were cute guys and even cute girls around, there was no one in particular who had caught her interest yet.

Sierra smiled mischievously, knowing that Audrey was lying because she had told her all about a certain Mathius Phoenix, who was driving her crazy for a while now. They resumed their game, and Sierra was about to open her mouth to say something to Audrey about Matt when a female voice shrieked out: "You're Sierra Jameson!'.

Stunned, Sierra turned around in the direction of the voice, and her eyes fell on a cute redheaded girl. Noticing she had interrupted Audrey and Sierra, the girl's eyes fell to the floor at the same time her face turned nearly as red as her hair. She looked embarrased, nervous and shy all at the same time. It was endearing, really.

"I'm, uh, sorry. Continue on. I'm just watching if you don't mind." the redhead mumbled, eyes flickering back to the screen where the game was now paused. Though the situation was awkward as hell at first, there was no way Sierra wasn't feeling proud of herself when she had just been recognized publicly for her gaming achievements outside her friends and gaming community. She hated to be the center of attention, but when it came to gaming, she welcomed it with open arms. She'd worked her ass off to get to where she was now, so why not brag about it while she had the chance.

"You're fine, sweetie." Audrey said to the girl to dismiss her awkwardness which chimed repeatedly as she had set a timer to remind when introductions were starting.

"Look, Audrey, it's my first fan!" Sierra told Audrey excitedly before adressing the girl. "Yep, that's me!" Sierra told the girl cheerfully with a bright smile, giving her a small wave.

Before she could ask the girl to come join them, Audrey's phone chimed a few times, signaling the start of introductions. "Aw shit, seriously?! We're not even gonna finish the game?!" Sierra said in an angry, teasing voice, while Audrey got up, making sure to let her know she was kidding by adding a small laugh at the end. Giving the redhead a welcoming smile and a small signal to follow them with her head, Sierra walked to the Main Hall with Audrey, arms linked in a friendly gesture that was completely unknown to her. Sure, she'd done that with her sister almost every single time they were together, but with another girl? That was as strange as the idea of her getting along with another girl besides her sister. It was certainly a nice new feeling for Sierra.

Once the three girls were able to get through the hassle in the front doors, the redhead disappeared into the crowd while Audrey and Sierra made their way to sit at the table in the furthest edge of the room. Not much time later, a good-looking older guy announced the introductions and gave them the basic instructions on what was supposed to be said. To Sierra's huge surprise, Audrey was the one to break the ice. When her friend stood up, she could feel the eyes of the whole room on her table. 'Oh God, Audrey... Why the fuck did you have to be first?!' Sierra thought, feeling uncomfortable with the sudden attention her table was getting. Her discomfort was dissipated a little when Audrey made Sierra chuckle after making sassy remark about their team winning, because if winning anything had to do with any physical activities like sports and the sort, they could already count themselves with one less teammate. Sports and Sierra? Never in a million years. Well, unless you counted paintball and skating. Then she would consider it.

After her introduction, Audrey shrugged her shoulders then sat back down, trying to get Sierra to go next by poking her side while laughing teasingly. Sierra giggled (she was a ticklish one) and playfully pushed her away. "You're really fucking delusional if you think I'll go next. Have all of those people judge me silently? No, thanks. I get that all the time back at home." she told Audrey playfully, taking a chance to look around the Mess Hall.

It was then when she saw him.

To most girls, the guy was as far from attractive as one could get. But, in Sierra's eyes, the male sitting right across her was pure perfection. Pale skin, great sense of edgy-indie style, adorable dark circles that higlighted a pair of the most stunning blue eyes Sierra had ever seen. They seemed to speak out to her about depth of character and a person who was begging to be discovered. It was safe to say, she was completely captivated. She wanted to know more about him, to discover him, to swim in those ocean-colored orbs and find the treasure hiding in their depths.

The best part about everything? He was already looking.

Sierra, completely eye-fucking the guy in front of her, barely heard Audrey when the girl said she was leaving the Mess Hall. "Oh, yeah, okay, you go do that..." were the only words she was able to blurt out without letting her intense green eyes waver away from Eli's.

The next introductions fell on deaf ears as Sierra continued to shamelessly stare at the guy. The way his eyes seemed so determined to dig into her soul was enough to keep her interested, and his introduction proved that he was interested in getting to know her as well. Without taking his eyes from her, he said in a voice as rich and velvety as one could imagine:

"Eli Nelson; Grey Team. I enjoy having a good time."

There was no way to hide the knowing smirk that appeared on her face. She knew what he had said, and most importantly, the way he had said it: it was an invitation directed at her. 'He says he likes to have a good time... Well, you bet I can show him a good time. Even if I'm kinda rusty because of Nationals, I know I can make an impression. I just need to find a way to slip away, get some one on one time with him and prove my point...'

As if the gods were granting her request, a pair of teenagers irrupted into the Mess Hall, filling the room with loud, quick-paced, get-off-your-chair-and-dance music. The girl playing the sax made a round through the tables, stopping at Sierra's and playing her music right in a fellow teammate's face. The male, on the other hand, only paused in front of the red table to show one of their guys a few of his best moves before making his way to the green table. Once they had both moved to the farthest part of the hall, Sierra looked around to make sure everyone's eyes and attention was on the musicians before looking at Eli with a suggestive smirk. She nodded in the direction of the doors, mouthed the words 'Follow me', stood up from her chair and easily slipped between the mass of campers in the hall. Who really cared about her introduction, anyway? The only one who could possibly care would probably be on her way out behind her.

Sierra was out of the doors in a second, and quickly found peace under the shade of a small huddle of trees behind the Mess Hall: deep enough to avoid being seen by prying eyes, but easy enough for Eli to find. Sierra took her place leaning against the thick trunk of a tree, her eyes focused on the way she had come for any sign of someone following her.

'Come on out, Eli Nelson. Come out, come out to play. I'll show you a good time.'

Introductions were getting along their marry way. Everyone was doing what they could to say who they were without making fools out of themselves - well, at least for the people who weren't fools, like Jackson Drake, or the majority of the Green Team(Adielle included). Yes, even though she was his sister, Eli knew his sister would give that kind of introduction. That was just the kind of girl that she was. He didn't fault her for it, just like he didn't fault most of everyone for the kind of introductions that they gave. That being said, Eli didn't care for most of them. Not their fault. Eli simply didn't have any interest in eighty percent of them.

Right off the bat came the Green Team Leader, Atlantis? Really? Whatever, not like Eli really would go out of his way to interact with her even if she was pretty cute. That was more Adielle's area. Following the silver surfer came the wonder twins. Apparently they were able to translate what their great leader said. But wait..they weren't even sure who they were. How the hell were they going to translate if they didn't know each other's identities? Eli simply shook his head at the stupidity that was the Green Team. It was no wonder Adielle was on that team - she fit perfectly with them.

"GREEN PRIDE!"

Yup, that just cemented it for him. Adielle was too wild to be considered Grey, too undignfied to be Pink. She wasn't arrogant like the Blues or a hothead like the Reds. As for Purple, Eli wasn't sure there, so obviously being Green fit her perfectly. As long as she was happy, Eli didn't care who she kept as company. For god's sake, she seemed to be best friends with that Nessa chick. If she could keep a ditzy airhead like that as a friend, then obviously Adielle was right at home with Team Green. Speaking of the ditz, it came her turn for Introductions. She was after Aisling, who happened to be silent for the most part thanks to Jackson's declaration of love. Eli let his eyes wander to her so he could spot her reaction to the Red bafoon. Safe to say it was a lot more lax than he thought it was going to be. No shaking her head; no annoying grunt. All she did was sigh and lazily say that's all there was to say. It was easy to spot Eli's surprise. Maybe Jackson had a chance with Ash after all. That notion was proposterus before to Eli, but Ash's lack of an reaction made him think otherwise

"Whatever." Eli shrugged.

Shifting in his seat, Eli kind of ignored most of the other introductions that came after Ness, to which he heard Adielle scream. "NESSIE!!!!" Eli chuckled as he saw Adielle rush right over to Ness and kind of tackled her in a hug. After the first few moments of that hug was done, Eli noted how happy Adielle was when she took a spot next to Ness, not caring who might've been next to her, especially that Holden fellow.

The next that followed were Ariel and Shawn. Both decent introductions. Eli acknowledged them, but he didn't do much else in response. Then came Theodore. That was another that Eli acknowledged, but didn't have enough interest to listen fully. He was kind of blurring out most of the ones that followed. Eli wouldn't be able to tell you who came after Theodore even if you played a tape back for him. However, one that he was forced to acknowledge because she wouldn't allow you to do otherwise was the most uptight, stick-up-my-ass person at Camp Liberty. Hana Park was her name, and the disrespect she showed towards most of the other teams that weren't Pink was a cherry on top of the sundae that made Eli want to scowl at her continously. However, her comments about the Grey Team made the hairs on Eli's back stand up. Say what you will about the Wolves of Camp Liberty, their pride for their "pack" was greater than anything ever, so it lit a fire in Eli's belly almost to the point that he wanted to say something about it. If not for Ghost beating him to it, Eli probably would have said some not-so-flattering things about Hana Park.

"Good save, Ghost." Eli quietly murmured. He actually didn't call him Alex. That's a first.

After the brief Grey Pride fit that Eli had, he shortly went back to his neutral, not-really-caring about the rest of the introductions. He would have done that in peace if it wasn't for the annoying Tate and Luisa bursting through the doors. One of them had the sax and the other a drum set. They came playing some loud - albeit well-played - song, pretty much ceasing any and all future introductions - well, at least in the quiet. Eli chuckled. He may not like those two, but he had to admit that Tate had a certain flare about him. When it came to the most diverse Grey Wolf, Tate was the one that would have the orange fur as compared to the dark blue and grey fur that most wolves had.

After the ruckus caused by Tate and Luisa semi-calmed down, a few more came, namely some chick named Fauna, then a bluer, Fox. The guy was a bit too arrogant for his own good, conceited too. He gave Eli a bit of a bad feeling. That guy was going to be trouble definitely. Best to keep an eye out on that one, but whatever. After Fox came Oliver. As shy as ever, Oliver kept it brief. Nice kid. Do it like a pro - well, as long as you don't shit yourself along the way. Safe to say Eli was starting to warm up to him, albeit mainly because he found him interesting.

And with one last note from Danny, the introductions came to an end.

Eli shifted in his seat, standing up to stretch his legs. Sitting down for so long really gave his legs a stiff feeling. Just a few moments of moving them around should be plenty of time to get that stiffness out of them, and loosen them up. Satisfied, Eli was about to sit back down. However, there was something that his attention. Or rather, someone did. Sierra Jameson, the raven-haired beauty with the Avengers T-shirt, and the slender figure. Sweet dreams are made of those, so who was Eli to disagree with his carnal instincts to follow her? Besides, by the way she was gesturing him to follow her, it would be rude to not accept the invitation.

"Since we're done here, I'm going to do something more interesting than just sit around. See you guys at the BBQ tonight...maybe." Eli gave his teammates a subtle wave of the hand, and followed Sierra outside. He was bound to have more fun with her than just sitting and conversing with his teammates.

Location: Grey Cabin → Soon they will head toward the lake where the BBQ is being held.
Time: Around 5:30 PM, Dinner will be served at 6 PM
Interacting with: Primarily Oliver @foxygen, waiting for Grey members to meet up at Cabins so they could walk to the lake together @Fabricant451@HaleyTheRandom@Altered Tundra@Wade Wilson, strong hatred mention of Kitt @flightless-angel-castiel

Tate spent most of the day trailing behind Ash and Oli, trying to get in the new kid's good graces. Imagine a big puppy, giving googly eyes and hoping to be acknowledged and liked by his master. Yeah, that's how most of his day went. Sure, he was annoyed at Luisa for blasting his crush out loud, disappointed since Fauna didn't seem to believe it, smiley faced when William complimented his drumming skills, excited when the BBQ was brought up, and ended up pouting to himself when Luisa told a rude thing to Oliver. He thought the kid was cute, was that so bad? Hmph. Tate has class unlike his sister! He doesn't treat his potential love interests as 'side dishes'. It didn't help that annoying ass Kitt was in their territory, acting like he owned the place like the shadow of Hana that he was. He needed to back the fuck off of Oliver. Tate didn't care how close the two got acquainted this fine morning. There was no way in hell he'd give Kitt the satisfaction of thinking he was better than the Grey wolves and using poor Oli like the evil diva he was. FUCK THAT. Who the hell does this guy think he is? Telling Tate what he can and cannot do! Especially with someone that was on his team. If Oli was on Pink, Tate would still befriend him because the kid is likable and cute! VERY CUTE. Stupid Kitt was acting like he owned a wolf and the drummer didn't like that. No. Not one bit. His sister just gave the fake bitch some ammunition against him, but that's okay, Tate was strong and could handle the venomous words from someone who was all bark but no bite. Kitt couldn't protect Oli even if his life depended on it.

Luckily, when Ash came back from the infirmary with Jackson, she was able to get Kitt to go to his slaveholder and out of GREY'S TERRITORY. Something was a little bit different about Ash, but Tate didn't put much thought into it. She just had a combination of adorableness and annoyance, all at the same time. Ash was someone who was beyond him. A complete mystery of a woman, but she was his Momma Wolf for life! Ghost would not be the only person that hurt bitches if they tried to put Ash, or any of the Grey Wolves, for that matter, in harm's way. Nope. Nope. Tate would FITE SOMEONE, if they dared touch them, if they dared touched Oliver. FUCK OFF KITT SANDERS.

With all hatred aside for a prick of a pink member, the drummer was super stoked for the BBQ. He and his bro Jackson never did get a chance to do something stupid together and further their bromance, so maybe they could rock out at the BBQ. Yeah, that sounded pretty dope. Aisling told the Grey members to meet back at the Grey Cabins so they could walk as a pack to the lake (including Eli by text who had 'disappeared').

Aisling gave the new grey member a tour of the camp grounds. The older woman didn't show him her favorite area because Tate was being a clingy, hyperactive puppy. Her spot was only known by Ghost, not even Jackson was aware of the place she went to, to get away from everyone. She would need to talk to Alex after the BBQ and make sure he didn't explode like he did this morning. Entering the Main Hall, she not only had butterflies still residing in her stomach but she was also annoyed as hell for bumping into two people on her way back. Eh-hem. Ash would keep that to herself.

To Tate's discovery, he shared the same bunk as Oliver! That made him extremely excited, more so than it should have.

It seemed that no matter what, the mother wolf and her cub could never have time to themselves since there was always someone who wanted to be with either her or him. At least she could make him feel more at home, along with everyone else that was attached to them. After they ate lunch, she brought Oli to the archery area and showed him one of her passions, even asking if he wanted to try. The drummer impulsively said he'd go first, hoping he could show off like he did this morning, but ended up making the arrow fly passed the target and on a tree, almost killing a bird. Only you Tate. The day continued with moments where Tate wanted to help Oli but only made a fool of himself. Ash was surprised with how creative the Demerson boy was getting with his tactics to be acknowledged by the baby wolf. Tate had left his drums in the cabin so he could put complete focus on Oli. There was a beehive and he tried to destroy it... but that only ended up with the three of them having to leave that area NEAR immediately before they all got stung by angry bees. Today was surely eventful. Mama wolf did try to ease Tate's challenge by assuring Oliver that the drummer boy was harmless.

As they waited in front of the Grey Cabin for the other Wolves, Tate growled and not so discreetly asked Ash, "Do you know who Luisa likes? She's being really secretive with it! And it annoys me to no end."

"You seriously think your sis would tell me? Come on, T. She has pride." The mother wolf leaned against the cabin as she watched the two boys contemplatively.

"I KNOWWWW. But I gotta figure it out before it's too late!" He huffed to himself and began pacing back and forth in front of the cabin thinking about the possible people she could like. There was a moment of silence before Aisling brought up the incident she missed.

"So I heard she blasted your crush for Fauna to the whole camp." The blonde turned to Ash, not expecting her to bring that up, and a light blush fell on his face.

"I feel like... she doesn't like me. Don't get me wrong, I'm gonna gain the courage to tell her but I just don't know if I'll be good for her. She's smart and I'm--"

"Don't sell yourself short. You're a good kid." The brunette observed him and his doubtful orbs as they looked back at her hopeless. As they stared at each other, a sudden surprised expression washed over the drummer's face.

"OH! That reminds me." Turning to Oliver, Tate scratched his head apologetically and kicked the dirt, "I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to make you feel awkward. I just tend to say... things. I would never treat you like a side dish!"

"Wait, what? I didn't hear anything about that!"

Holden never did stand up and introduce himself. It was worth a try to inspire him to do so, but it was a failed attempt. There was so much rivalry, team spirit, and some hostility but intros came and they went. Some of the more memorable ones being the new girl who Ness could hardly hear, Nicoletta? Hana, of course, attacking the Grey team. Ghost, who jabbed right back at Hana for her insolence. Though, the sweet blonde didn't think either of them were being mature.

Holden was being a party pooper! But before Nessa could even register the running person coming to her, she was taken by a hurricane of a person, Adielle, who jumped and put her in a tight embrace, "Hey Adi! Sorry I didn't get to you sooner." This morning, she was caught up on the mistake she made that she forgot the Girlateers had waited for her. What a terrible friend she was.

Intros were especially nice when Tate and Luisa filled the room with music. Nessa couldn't help but dance along. Luisa announcing Tate's crush was rather rude of her. It didn't seem like Fauna believed it though, poor Tate. I know how you feel... There seemed to be an odd thing going on between Tate, Kitt, William, and Oliver... it was interesting to watch. There were bad days to be had between those fellow men-- Nessa could sense it. Perhaps, she should make sure Oliver didn't get hit in the crossfire? She knew Kitt wouldn't hurt the cute boy but he was also an instigator to a lot of things and even though he wouldn't... someone else would. Her darling Kitt blew a kiss toward her and she cutely caught it and brought it to her heart. Her eyes trailed through the crowd of people, wondering who would go next.

Her attention was brought to the Spanish Queen! Lela's intro was pretty cool, like in a strong independent woman way, who wasn't afraid to tell people off. Damn straight. The young girl admired her already and couldn't wait for their epic dance sessions!

Everyone began dismissing themselves. Nessarose turned to her sister (Adi) grinning, "Go get Jess! I'm gonna invite Fiorella, I never did get the chance to talk to her fully."

The small, bunny of a girl pranced toward Lela and energetically waved at her new friend. As she offered to Lela if she wanted to hangout with her, Adi, and Jess until the BBQ, hoping she wasn't imposing, Nessa began twiddling with her fingers. The whimsical girl really did like Lela and wanted to be as spunky as she. After receiving an answer, Nessa and Adi led the way.

Embarrassed as she walked out the door, she admitted, "I'm really hungry... I'm going to quickly get a snack! Show Fiorella around this general area... I'LL BE BACK!" Without another word, the young girl ran to the Pink Cabins to retrieve a granola bar to hold her over until lunch and her "happy pills". Slipping it in her pocket, she would probably take them at some point tonight. Night time was the best time to be 'happy'!

Running back to the area, she found her friends with little to no trouble and they spent the rest of their day bringing Fiorella up to speed with the who's and what's of Camp Liberty, or well the people they knew and the people she should be careful around. They were open to answering any questions she had about anyone.

Nessa couldn't help but open up dance lessons to Adi. The more the merrier, right?!

"Adi! At some point, Lela is gonna teach me how to shake my butt like her, you should join! Maybe our first session should be TOMORROW" She turned to Lela and stared at her with her doe eyes, "If that's okay with you?"

The day sped by as the girls roamed the camp grounds and enjoyed each other's company. Before they knew it, it was almost time for the BBQ! And somehow, Nessa didn't reveal her crush for Nathan through all the chatter... thank god. She avoided that subject like a pro!

As they walked to the lake, the girl with a constant bubbly demeanor asked, "What's your dream guy?" She opened the question for all the ladies around her.

"I mean, I don't necessarily know my type." She smoothly lied, "But I'm curious about what guys like... like how would you intrigue your dream guy?" She was trying to be subtle, hoping she'd get information on how to impress Nate in the process.

Location; The Red Cabin → Welcome Back BBQ
Interacting With; No one.
Audrey had been playing video games on her PSP for quite some time now. She heard chatter outside of the window within the cabin she was in and looked outside at the sea of people exiting the main hall, signaling that the introduction process was over. She paused her game and rolled her eyes as people came into her cabin. "So, you guys getting ready for the BBQ?" She asked them, two guys and a girl. "Yes, we are, old gracious leader." The guy commented as Audrey rolled her eyes with a nod of her head, turning heel and walking outside.

The Barbecue wasn't for another two hours so she decided to go back to the media room for a moment. She had taken on about two competitors, beating them countless of times in front of their friends, who laughed at the anger of their friends. Audrey held the other controller out towards the people surrounding her as she dropped the controller then stood up. "Stay here and practice some more then I'll be back for some real competition." Audrey told them with her arms folded then walked away while flipping her hair and walking back to the cabin, seeing everyone almost ready.

Audrey quickly showered and changed her clothes. She was wearing a pink top, with sleeves that stopped just above the elbow, a pair of short shorts that stopped just below her thighs. Audrey tied her hair up into a high ponytail then examined herself in the mirror while applying on a light coat of makeup and light dab of lip gloss on her lips. Audrey examined herself over and over again before nodding her head with approval and exiting the cabin.

She made a light trek towards the open field, where the BBQ was taking place, close to the lake. Audrey had examined the food that was close to being done as she grabbed a bag of chips and opened them, popping one in her mouth and hearing it crunch in her mouth. She sat down on one of the logs by herself, ironically as she eyed the people that were already there. The sun was setting off in the distance and soon nightfall would be here.
