Alistair Havanda | | Casual

Alistair had been sitting quietly in his home when the first of the broadcasts had come on. He turned the television off once the last one ended and put a cigarette in his mouth. Just because the city was falling, didn't mean he was going to smoke in his house. He was renting, after all. He stood and walked outside, fully aware that bots could be just about anywhere. Thankfully, he was never afraid of those damn spider bots. Still, he couldn't really do anything without orders from his higher ups. Unless some of the bots showed up in casual. Surely he would be able to get away with helping then.
Still, it didn't matter. He should go where he was needed.

A sigh escaped Alistair as he sat down on the steps outside. Maybe leaving the ocean for the surface was a bad idea. He lit the tobacco and took a drag. These things were the worst, but for some reason, he enjoyed them. He loosened his tie and looked out over casual. There was no way he was going to work today. While the docks in Character Sheets were the best place for getting information, there was no way in hell he was cutting across General Interest now that it was getting hit by the bots.
"What a waste of a day." His usually sing song voice was darkened by slight anger. He was not happy at all.

A siren when off some distance away. Then another. Another.
Was casual was under attack?
No. The interest checks.
Alistair gritted his teeth, biting the butt in his mouth in half. Great, another waste.
"That's it! I gotta let off some steam!" He went inside and grabbed some bread and a cup of milk. He picked up his pack, filled mostly with energy bars, water, and basic medical supplies, and ran out the door. He chugged the milk and tossed the glass, hearing it shatter as he continued on. As he passed by, most of casual seemed to be a ghost town. Anyone outside appeared to be unaware of what was going on, or organizing to defend their homes. He told the kids to go back inside, but most of them wouldn't listen. It wasn't his job to take care of kids though.

Just before he arrived, he received a call. It was more of a notice than an actual call.
"Move to Casual Interest and deal with the bots. You will have allies, try not to get them killed." After a pause, the automated voice said, "You have your orders."
"Thanks for the vote of confidence, boss." Alistair hung up and looked around. There really wasn't very many people around, just bots. Thankfully, someone falling from the sky was always a good sign. That must be one of them. The siren decided to head towards whomever that was. Before moving, he took a bottle of water out of his pack. Best to have some on hand should one of the KBots find him.

Before he could leave the area, Alistair's forethought came to fruition. A KBot N launched an attack. He was only startled for a moment, but it was long enough for it to locate him. He took cover behind the corner of a building.
"Finally! Some action!" he smirked, happy he was going to get some revenge. The cap to the water bottle twisted off easily, and he dumped the contents, using his magic to form it into a bubble. With a wave of his hand, the water broke up into several moderately sized needles. He moved out and aimed at the bot. Another wave and the water spikes pierced through the things metal shell and burst within, causing it to short circuit.
"This is far too easy." He gathered what little water remained. Had to save what he could.

Leaving the now burned out machine behind, he ran off in the direction of the person that fell out the sky.

A KBot managed to get a shot off close to the commander. The explosion of its rock blew most of her squad to pieces, sending the remaining flying into buildings. Kurai hit the wall hard, knocking the wind out of her. The KBot began to aim again at the commander. The Commander pulled her side arm from its holster and began to fire aimlessly towards it. A lucky shot managed to hit one of the rockets propulsion systems causing flames to fire into the bots 'face'. It began walking aimlessly, stuttering, stopping spinning around before the rocket exploded, destroying the machine. so the bots had heat tracking systems to guide their rockets. who ever made them must know their stuff. she pushed herself up and grabbed her rifle off the floor surveying the scene of horror in front of her.

There were limbs scattered from an explosion. various screams and cries out for help. blood everywhere. fires and rubble from buildings. Bodies of the dead lined the street, while others ran and fought over the top of them. there were BKS medics rushing the streets trying to tend to the wounded. These bots had taken the little piece of paradise that the Commander called home and destroyed it. The peace was shattered and so soon would the Kbots metallic shell.

"This is an open message to everyone in Guild City. As you've probably heard, Kbots roam the streets off General Interest, Free and have just broke through into casual. The BKS and the Guild Future Society are taking action against the threat but there's only so much we can do. I'm not gonna lie to any of you listening. The fight isn't looking good in General Interest. This City must stand together as one. Free, Casual, Advanced, Nation and even Arena citizens need to fight alongside each other or we will all perish. You must pick up arms. Able Bodied Men go and enlist with BKS in Off topic to get weaponry or Enlist with the Guild Future Society. Should any women choose to do the same so be it we need every Soldier we can. Those who aren't fighting should take the children and make their way to Airfields located in introductions and behind the BKS HQ. Those who cant get there should get to the Docks. You'll find BKS Soldiers evacuating Citizens from our Airfield, Should the GFC wish to do the same that's their option. Any Military organisations still operating in guild city should send a unit to help evacuate citizens and the rest should come to General Interest to help push them out and set up barricades and a base camp. This has been Commander Kurai Assassin. Signing Off"She said into her comm piece, pressing a button on the side off it to switch it to the Guild City Speaker Systems. Ever since she'd asked for the technicians at HQ to add that feature she'd been itching to try it out. "Chrome wings return to HQ. Refuel and prepare to ferry Citizens out of the city."

"Copy that Commander. All wings return to baseplate. Repeat all Wings return to baseplate. Good luck Commander." it took a few minutes but from a high enough place in the city you could see the VTOLS all simultaneous return back to the base. it looked like a scene from Apocalypse Now. At least the Citizens could escape the Carnage.

Kirin
Casual interest check

The motor riding skeleton zoomed over her followed by a gust of wind that made her hair and clothes flutter in the wind. He probably hadn't noticed that the two robots were following him at the moment and were now also bound to try and kill Kirin. She clicked her tongue in annoyance and glanced at the robots. How was she gonna destroy them if her best bet on a weapon would be the skeleton behind her. Kirin took a quick look behind her and had already seen the skeleton didn't leave her alone on this. He stopped right besides her and was already sounding like a bother in her ears. She only gave a quick glance at the skeleton with sharp eyes before concentrating back on the robots again not to miss any attacks they would attempt on the duo.

"Another old perverted man, bothersome... Wood is light, it's easy to swing but it breaks rather fast. I don't think these two will go down as easy as the last one did. Might be able to immobilise them a little though."

Kirin paused for a little as the skeleton started againx. Kirin had already started searching for weapons with her eyes while being close to the skeleton. She didn't know if he was able to survive on his own or at least do anything, he might be a simple civilian that will only slow her down. Might be better off killing the poor thing, would be a good way to get a nice bone weapon though.

"I don't take parters just like that. First show me what you can do at least and then I'll reconsider old man."

Kirin had spotted something shiny in the pile of heap close by them and had started digging for the item halfway through the conversation. Once she cleared some of the rubble around the metal pipe she was able to free it and jank it from some attached pipes. It was all muddy and rusted yet it was a fair enough weapon to hit with. Kiring looked around the pipe and gave a short nod of the head as to confirm it was a good item.

Kirin went in closer towards the robots with her pipe in one of her hands stretched out before her. Once she was close enough she held the pipe with both hands in a defensive postion in front of her. One of the robots suddenly came into action and rapidly started hitting Kirin with it's giant plated limbs. Kirin could fend of every attack but it was clear she wasn't gonna last long with the pipe already bending like this. Kirin rolled out of the way and hit it hard in the knee socket yet her weapon did not pierce. Kiring went back to defensive position and waited for another opening.

It seemed like her time was over. The robots had already made a quick little plan. Robot one was rapidly hitting on Kirin while the second decided to flank her and hit her full on with a heavy lower cut. She quickly placed both ends of the pipe in her hands to block it but she was garanteed that it would brake her defense.

Kilo Pestifer Leon

Location: Front Lines of GIC (Mission #1)

Flying a helicopter into a warzone was no easy task, even if it was a stealth copter. Every explosion seemed to rock the aircraft despite the fact that the bots had not even begun firing at them. From thier altitude, they could see and identify the large BKS force that had taken on the KBots that were slowly pushing from FIC borders. A few blocks away, GFS squads were also taking on the KBot threat.

" Preeminence, we have a visual on both BKS and GFS Forces!" the pilot said promptly through the headset.

Kilo acknowledged the pilot but remained silent, simply gazing through the window of the helicopter down at the warzone below. His mind was racing. It seemed that the GFS numbers were dwindling, taking the brunt of the KBots vanguard. But a small reinforcement team had arrived (in a form of pink), but it still seemed that they would need assistance. The BKS numbers also seemed to be dwindling, also, but they could hold thier own.

Kilo was deep in though, hundreds of scenarios played out in his mind, what move would decide this battle? Suddenly, an explosion rocked the helicopter, shaking those inside before settling down again.

"Preeminence, we will be initiating evasive maneuvers! But we cannot stay here, sir." the pilot yelled frantically, as the aircraft jerked about in an attempt to dodge the missiles that a M-Variant KBot fired.

More and more explosions rocked the aircraft, and the faces of the S.E.S Members inside were sheet white with fear, while Kilo remained unusually calm, still contemplating a move to make.

We need to reinforce GPS, but BKS also seems to be slowly weakening, unfortunately, we can't spread our forces to thin. The Northern Legion can be contacted to send reinforcements, but they need to ready themselves for a possible invasion also. Kilo thought to himself, formulating plan after plan in his head before one finally stuck.

Kilo used the helicopters communication system to contact Beta Meek, his General back as GFS HQ. Within a few seconds, a holographic screen popped up with his face on it.

"Preeminence." Beta Meek said simply, his eyes just as hard and calculating as they always were.

"Mobilize the Legion, lead them to these coordinates and assist in holding down the choke-point with GFS, this is a crucial point in this battle." Kilo said curtly, his lips set in a thin line.

"Understood, Preeminence." Beta Meek said simply before ending the transmission.

According to Kilo's calculation, it would take the legion, 20 to 30 minutes to get here. He gazed at the Squad of 5 in the aircraft with him in that moment. He had 5 powerful, trustworthy, capable, soldiers with him, not to mention his own power, which he hadn't bothered to use in offensively in a few days.

"You 5!" Kilo yelled with a voice of superiority. All 5 immediately sat at attention, all unable to stand due to the helicopters erratic movements. "We will he dropping momentarily to assist the GFS squads. The Legion is on its way. We are small in number, but give any support you can." Kilo said quickly, gazing into the eyes of all those inside. Each one nodded, all ready to fight for thier beliefs.

Kilo smiled, satisfied with thier answer before be loosened tie on his neck, unbuttoned the jacket he was wearing and threw it on the seat next to him. He then ripped on his dress shoes and socks enjoying the cool air that hit his toes. The individuals in the squad watched Kilo with looks of disapproval and confusion, but did not question him.

Kilo opened the helicopter door, the force of the wind ripping the air from his lungs. Ignoring the unusual feeling, he walked towards the edge, gazing down at the fighting bellow.

"Preeminence!" Epsilon Aleani yelled. But his scream feel on deaf ears as Kilo readjusted his mask before leaning over the side and falling.

Skydiving is the adrenaline rush of a lifetime – a bucket list item reserved for those who were brave enough to take the chance. Kilo had never skydived before, but he felt complete calm at this moment. The helicopter had his body traveling at approximately 100mph. The transition to free fall is one that smoothly converts that forward speed from the airplane into a downward force because of gravity. It was an unusual feeling that Kilo welcomed. Freefalling at such high speeds generated a cushion of air for Kilo to ride on, allowing him to pit himself into the head-down body position. He could feel the adrenaline coursing through his body, and before Kilo knew what he was doing, electricity surrounded his body, pouring out of his pores. Turning Kilo into a torpedo of crackling electricity. Anyone that could see this would think that a lightening bolt was descending from the sky, at least at a rate of speed that they could track.

Kilo aimed for a N-Variant KBot that had just rounded a street corner to engage GFS forces. Kilo quickly steeled his leg muscles, empowering them and his body to take the force of such a fall. He maneuvered his body within seconds of hitting the KBot, allowing his feet to take the brunt of his attack. Within the blink of an eye and explosion rocked that area. The KBot took a direct shot to the head, the sheer speed and force in which Kilo hit him with allowed him to drill through it, coming out the other side before it exploded in a massive fire ball. Kilo smiled crudely under his mask, enjoying his opportunity to fight, showing the true power of Nox humanity.

Jay Kane

Location: Unknown Sector, Quadrant Alpha (Calibration in Progress) II Status: Sleeper II Time: 0000, Arrival time. (Calibration in Progress)

Mission Status: Target Unknown. Beginning Search.

Jay stepped out into the light. The sun shone bright, and he had to cover his face, not to get blinded. It was a whole new world. Skyscrapers reflecting the light, eating up the skies, smaller houses and urban areas that span below the rich districts. The console on his arm beeped and wrote "breathable" next to a small cloud icon on his wrist console. Jay took of his respirator and took a deep breath. The air was fresh, but it had a bitter feel to it. Smoke. It took a few seconds for Jay to realize something is up. Usually people would go around screaming if he amde his entrance like this on the street. Shouting "aliens" and or something else, Jay learned to ignore it as a background noise. There wasn't much sense in paying attention anyway. Unless they started questioning him, or called the police/military. Then he shot them. He shrug, and straightened his jacket. Checking his guns, he put them back in their holster, and then started to silently examine the cause of disconcern. Around a huge building in the middle of town, many smaller piles of smoke rose up, along with a harmony of gunshots and explosions. Mechanised screams mixed with human shouts as Jay used his gear to examine the battlefield better. Big insectoid robots attacked smaller installements where humanoid soldiers hunkered down and deseperatley tried to hold the bots back. The fabled Kbots. He never met them before, but there sure was something about them that wasn't exactly to his liking. Maybe the big steel claws? Who knows.

Jay's goggles retracted and his wrist console brought up a small map of the city (OOC: Guys I swear I'll make it soon, don't hurt me pls). He silently examined it, checking for any larger residental areas and volatile shootouts. He didn't want to interfere with this dimension too much. As much as this is another one of those so called "HUBS", there was still no need to cause a ripple in the ocean of reality. He kneeled down and opened his backpack. From inside he pulled a small speherial device shining with a chrome reflection in the sunshine. Jay pressed the sphere, and the swiped on it with his fingers in a complex pattern. The device started buzzing and let out a small blue glow, before disappearing with the rest of the bag. "Hook" Jay said, and in under a second his empty wrist was wrapped ina small device, hooked to a grapling hook. "Blink" For a second there was a rush of air, but then a loud crack could be heard, and Jay found himself almost hitting a wall. "Goddamn stupid device." He input some numbers and strange signals into the wrist console and soon after a message popped up. "Goddamn stupid dimension that is." He let out an angry sigh. "Well it seems I just have to make without teleporting. At least my void bag is still working"

His grapling hook on his wrist, Jay swiftly flew across the streets, switching from side to side to move as fast as he could. Empty streets everywhere, occasionally a few people walking down the street, cautious. Scared faces from the window. Finally Jay reached what it seemed to be the end of the district. He pulled himself up a building, and then settled on top, to take a better look. The fight still raged across the city, however the battle aroudn the middle part seem to have escalated a lot quicker than what he thought at first. There were a lot moe bots that initialy, and a lot less human fighters. He needs to get used to this dimension quick, unless this is gonna be weird to think of.

Just then with a hiss and a crackle, his brain implant decyphered a radio transmission, until it slowly became audiable. "It has been three hours since the walls of Guild City has been breached by an unknown threat that we have chosen to classify as 'KBots'. With their strength and size, they were able to breach Roleplaying Discussion and march their way through Spam." Aha, so it was 3 hours since the breach. Jay looked at his wrist console calibrating time, and then turned his attention back at the broadcast. "Free did not stand a chance and neither did its Interest Check. Both were compromised approximately an hour ago," a pause came, and Jay tried tio calibrate some settings. It turned out it was a legitimate stop, but it was too late, he lost some transmission data. Buggers. "And the Guild Future Society is calling out to anyone who can hear this, who can act: we need you. Your city needs you. We need more than just unification now. We need action. And that is why we are calling out to everyone. To everyone who can act: take whatever weapons, powers and friends you have. Head to General Interest Checks. Fight with us there. We will fight even if you won't. We will save this city. We hope you do, too." Jay let out a small giggle at the transmission, hearing out the propaganda, and bitter fear out of it. Any how, according to the transmission the middle sector was "General". How starnge of a name for a city distrcit. His map calibrated automagically, and a small area of teh city lit up, labeled Gneral, with thousands of small red and blue dots indicating the bots and so called "peacekeepers". Then the map begin to show interfernece, and soon the dots disappeared, and left Jay with onyl the bare map, and swearing. "Damn interference."

I am the bone of my sword

Lucius Cypher
Location: Impaled into the ground on a bridge connecting Casual Interest Check and General Interest Check
Activity: Fighting two K-Bots and with Kirin

Lucius fired off round after round at the KBot's, throwing away and replacing his guns after he ran out. He should have switched to bigger weapons, perhaps an anti-material rifle of some sort, but Lucius never liked such ostentatious weapons. Plus it was hard to drive a motorcycle while using a two-handed weapon for obvious reasons. Still, he was at least making some progress: He noticed he made a bullet hole! Upon closer observation he was almost certain he found where the armor was thin, which was at the hind leg. While it's not exactly a Achilles Heel, if he could get a bigger gun or a heavier weapon on that spot, there was a good chance Lucius could at least knock out a leg.

After riding past another near miss Lucius looked to see how the girl was doing. She had taken a metal pipe out and started to fight one of the KBot's. Lucius was wondering where the other went. Her pipe was getting bent with each hit however, and it wasn't going to be long before it'd break. Worse still while Lucius was just distracted for a second, the other KBot went after her while his buddy continued his beat down. This was no time to play around anymore; if he didn't take immediate action that girl was going to get killed.

Gunning his Motorcycle towards the girl there was a few things he could try. He could simply turn into a giant cement block and ram into the bots using his current momentum. That ought to do some damage. But he couldn't turn into a big enough rock to hit both, and the girl didn't have much time left before her defenses fell. He could have tried to apply more dakka and just turn into a wall of guns, firing everything he had on them. But again, the girl was still there. She would have been caught in the crossfire. No, the important thing was that the girl needed to not be there. So Lucius needed to get her out, and make a path.

Before the two KBots could crush her between their massive frames, Lucius drove to the girl, snatched her up, and managed to get her out before they killed them. He was a bit rough, but it was much better than what the robots would have done to her. Didn't take them long to relive what was happening and gave chase. Lucius created a grenade launcher this time, wanting more kick, and fired a bomb at the bots. But unlike a bullet they could keep track of the bomb and slapped it away, resulting in another building exploding.

Lucius took the girl a fair bit away as the robots gave chased, but stopped in the middle of an empty bridge. There were still cars on the streets but the drivers had left, likely due to the KBot nearby. The road wasn't narrow enough to stop the bots from coming, but at least it did funnel them to one direction.

Letting the girl off Lucius looked at her. ”Looks like you’re in need of some real steel, not some limp pipe. Why don’t you try this on for size?” Lucius grabbed his chest and started pulling out a sword handle. Every inch that the sword came out, more and more of Lucius’s body got sucked into the sword, until eventually his entire body became a katana. It was an enigma of a blade; it was as black as night yet reflected light as bright as the moon. The handle was long enough to be held with two hands, and with the blade the entire length of the sword was almost shoulder height to the girl, yet if she would grasp this weapon she would find perfect balance. This sword was forced from the darkest iron from the depths of the underworld, yet forged in the heat of the sun itself, a duality of both heaven a hell all in one weapon. This was the katana of Ten Thousand Years in the Sun’s Origin, otherwise known as “Nippon Banzai”.

Or at least that’s the story Lucius would tell. Truth is it’s just a sword he saw at some point as one of his characters. While he’s certain the sword he saw contained powerful magics, this one was just a sword of steel. That being said, it’s still a masterwork katana, even if it lacked any special properties beyond what one might be able to achieve by a smith of considerable skill. And it did have the unique quality of actually being Lucius too, so unlike most katanas which must be handled with great skill or else they could chip and break, as long as Lucius was alive he could keep the edge sharp and the blade sturdy. This form lacked a method for him to speak so he couldn’t tell the girl to wield him, but perhaps it was her choice to do so. But out here on this bridge, there wasn’t exactly any handy source of branches or pipes for her to grab. Unless she intends to ransack the cars on the off chance she’d find a tire iron or rip out a muffler, the Nippon Banzai was the only weapon available to her.

Kirin
Casual interest check

Just about when the robot was about to hit her full on with its limb she felt something wrap around her waist. With full force she was taken away by the skeleton. It felt like a punch to the stomach but she could hold everything in. Hanging from a motor cycle wasn't a fun thing to do, especially when you are just hanging onto a weak skeleton arm. She could just about blurt out something over the wind.

"What are you doing! I had it you moron!"

The motor cycle slowed down and stopped by a nearby bridge were Kirin was put down again. She gave out a grunt and glared at the skeleton. She was rather pissed at what he was doing, she didn't need his help like this. Kirin balled up her fist and gritted her teeth. She even lost the weapon she had found along the way, what was she suppose to kill the bots with now.

"I said show what you got, not help each other."

After a few seconds she looked less mad and more pained by having the skeleton with her. Kirin gave out a tiring sigh. This was gonna be a long day if it kept going like this. Kirin glanced around the area to see if there would be some material lying around so she perhaps could craft something. She was quite handy with her hands if she said so herself. She quickly came to a halt and stared at something in the distance. She was quiet for the first few moments but she quickly had to say something again to the skeleton again just to make it clear it was his fault again for having brought them into even more trouble.

"Now look at what you have done now! How are we gonna take on multiple of these fucks now!"

Skeletor seemed to have an idea though, he asked Kirin if he needed some proper steel which sounded a lot more like a shady deal then a to be honest. Kirin watched the skeleton as he strugglingly pulled out a sword handle from his chest. When he couldn't move it away from his body and further she decided to help and janked out the sword from his chest. Or so she thought. He had gotten into the sword itself. He was the sword itself. It was a very light sword and had a paper thin blade. It looked nice as sword but she could only pull a face of disgust. It was a large sword, a very large sword. She didn't like large swords, she would much rather have a small katana like her own that was easy to handle. This thing would destroy unneeded stuff since its large range. Well she could at least slice with it so she had to get over with this fast or otherwise she might puke before the fight is finished.

"Don't you dare call yourself a sword. I wouldn't even know why anyone would like to use such a size."

Kirin held both hands on the sword and put her feet behind each other. She closed her eyes and breathed slowly. She concentrated on the two bots that were still behind them almost at the bridge now. She waited for them to come closer and take the starting advantage. Once one of the robots was close enough she tilted her sword just lightly but didn't seem to move. Her hair fluttered a little by how quickly the blade went. It was near impossible to see the blade even move yet it left a double cut right through the robot. She had sliced into it once and immediately turned it around but not completely and went back through it. The robot fell into 3 pieces of scrap but not only that. The area around it was pretty devastated too. She hit more than just the robot with this gigantic sword. Trees missed branches the road also had a few cuts into it and some of the cars around them were leaking all kind of liquids. Luckily she didn't hit the bridge too much. Kirin opened one of her eyes seeing the leftover robot struggling on the ground with its last breath. Kirin opened her other eye and headed towards the second with a serious expression clearly shown on her face. She swung the weapon towards her side getting off all the oil and stuff from inside the robot and accidently cut a tree in half with it.

"Jezus Christ, this thing is devastating."

As the robot drew closer she slashed the sword at it. It cut at the center but only left a slight cut penetrating the armor. Kirin did this a few times more as the robot tried dodging the sword. It sped up but so did Kirin. She swung the blade like a whirlwind at it. Eventually it stopped moving, it slowly fell apart and sacked into a pile of metal. Kirin turned her head and glanced at the robot across the bridge. How was she gonna defeat that thing with this much robots around it to support it. She glanced at the sword.

"Any ideas?"

Slendy
(Causal to 1x1)

Today Couldn't Get Worst...
The ear straining ring of an alarm clock is what woke Slendy from his long and peaceful sleep. The young man awoke and leaned up from his messy bed to rub his eyes. A yawn soon followed as he stretched and looked around his completely trashed room. For a second he had the brief motivation of cleaning his room but it quickly disappeared once he was starting become more awake and less zomibe morning person. It seem like the normal day in Causal for the boy, he even made himself a bowl of cereal and plopped down on his couch to watch some cartoons. With bowl in hand and spoon in his other, a tentacle sprouted from his back and grabbed his TV remote.

With one swift movement the tentacle turned the TV on. Slendy filled his mouth his delicious cereal only to spit it out once he seen the cluster fuck of kbots that were attacking the city. Well it was more of a summary of what was happening, you know, with serveral cities being turned into battle fields. So shocked by the scene that played out on the screen he nonchalantlly changed the channel. Its not like he could of done anything to help anyways. For all he know he could be imprisoned because he went against orders, or maybe simply showing up to a battle. Slendy wasn't the brightest and wasn't fully sure how disbandment effected his over all situation.

Putting his cereal on a table that sat in the center of his family room Slendy decided he had to do something. After all there's this nice adult store somewhere in 1x1 that he hasn't visited yet and he can't sit by as kbots parade through anywhere they seem fit, they could destroy that adult store and make a true enemy out of Slendy. He stood and stretched as if he was preparing himself for a workout. Then with the snap of his fingers he was in his room. Even though it was just a few feet away he was in a 'rush' so walking would take to long. Slendy grab his usual street clothes and ran into his bathroom, washing up, getting dress, and running out of the bathroom as if it was on fire.

He also grabbed his mask and slid it on around his neck. Slendy was ready for what ever came his way and ran to he exit of his apartment only to stop by the door. "Crap!" He shouted disappearing as he touched the knob of the door. He returned to the door same as he left but this time he had his BB gun with him. "Click Clock!" He mimicked the sounds of cocking the gun. "Let's go kill some porn stealers!....there has to be a better phrase for that..." Slendy spoke to himself as he teleported from his home, in causal to 1x1 interest check. It was quite a leap so his cool down mode was on and he wouldn't be teleporting like that for awhile. He must of been going in the right direction because faint sounds of gun fire could be heard from everywhere.

"Damn....I seriously hope they haven't got to the adult.....I mean i seriously hope no one is dead..." Slendy looks around his pistol out and ready to swiss cheese any suspicious object that frightened him. His mission consisted of stealth and small man teams, not armies and machines hurdling bigger things at you. Slendy's eyes quickly darted to the right. His lifeless and pupil-less eyes twitching a bit as a small group of knots can be heard. The sounds weren't heavy, at first, but now and then there was a pretty big something following the much smaller ones. Slendy climbed to a roof to get a better look and discovered 4 H kbots and 1 N kbot.

The once faint sounds of gun fire was more closer as a small men squad of peacekeepers were pursuing the kbots that was on the move. The Pk's weren't doing to bad either they even shot down two of the H kbots. Their success in taking two out rewarded them with the remaining Kbots attention. Slendy wasn't sure if the Pk's were prepared for a head on assult from the N kbot so he had to lend them a hand. He leaped off the roof which was a good 2 stories and fired a few rounds of bb gun bullets enhanced by fire thanks to manipulation ability. The bullets were a direct hit but the N kbot was fully functional. The bullets were still BB's after all and the flames were taking their sweet time engulfing the N kbot.

Before he hit the ground teleported again reappearing closer to the N kbot. "Keep shooting!" He shouted. Hopefully they can distract the last two H kbots while he deals with the larger one. Breaking off into a sprint Slendy continued to fire more rounds into the bot. It simply responded by going on the defensive and blocking the bb's with its crab like arms? Once he was close enough Slendy punched the bot with a great amount of his strength not breaking the machines defenses but forcing it's back into a near by building. Its large arms were heavily dented but it was far from being destroyed, though now it couldn't do as much destruction as before. "Damn what are you!?" He shouted teleporting again advancing towards the N kbot, although this time the bot was on the offensive a effective ofesive none the less.

Before Slendy could reach the machine vice versa happened. He was tackled by the overly grown crab and was hurdle through the air. "Shit! Shit! Shit!" He shouted as he spun attempting go regain his center of balance as he teleported again. Now he was pissed flames flaring and now tentacles moving through the air like heat waves or a ripple within water. "That's it!" He vanished reappearing underneath the N kbot his tentacles viciously ripping through the bottom of it as if it was plastic. The machine roared loudly and with all its remaining energy planned for a retreat. It didn't hesitate to escape so it moved as fasted as it could which Slendy didn't see coming. The N kbot crushed his left leg in its attempted escape causing Slendy to fall to his feet from the pain. "F-Fire! Kill it now!" Slendy winced as the Peacekeepers, who were obviously successful with dealing with the other kbots, fired upon the crippled machine causing its movements to stagger before they knew it the bot was collapsing head(?) first into a building with no signs of getting back up. "This day can't get any worst..." Slendy said to himself as he used a tentacle as a cruch and limped in the direction of the 1x1 territory.

Ny Tem || Casual Section || Bumpin into Cynder

Interacting with:@Cynder

Ever since the new expansion for the guild dropped, it was pretty chaotic. Seemed like it was an invasion event, and every single person on the server was going to take part in the fight against the new enemy, the K-Bots. Hell, they even had someone broadcasting information on where all the major battles were taking place. Ny Tem would have joined the event earlier, but he had been busy stuffing everything possible into his pack in perpetration. Seemed a bit odd he could carry dozens of swords in there, along with trail rations, water, and several armor sets, but hey, Ny Tem wasn't complaining. The rulebook said he wasn't out of inventory slots yet, so who cared?

Ny tem, being on the roof of an apartment building, could see explosions off in the distance. It must have been all of those operations the Terminal had been talking about. Either the players of RPG were finally making a counter offensive, or they were getting their asses handed to them by the machines. To be honest, he had little faith that RPG would be able to contain the threat for long. Too many mobs fr everyone to handle. God damn, didn't the person that dropped this expansion do some beta testing?

"Fucking buggy releases..." It wouldn't be the first time anyway, but Ny Tem would have to deal with it anyway until the mods decided to patch the broken game mode. Which would probably be months. Unless the community bitched about it enough, maybe something would be done within the week. Who knows? Maybe the mods would even shut down the expansion until further notice.

However, his thoughts were interrupted as a loud knock and screaming pierced the air.

"I swear to god if there's a fucking squatter up there!"

Well shit. It was only a matter of time before the landlord figured out there was a hobo on his roof. Well, looks like Ny Tem would have to stealth his way outta this one. He took out his mystical D20s and rolled for his stealth check and acrobatics check. The first die stopped on 20. "NOICE!" Now all Ny Tem would need was a good acrobat-

He got a 1. "... Goodbye world." Ny Tem merely stepped rolled the roof stealthily, screamed all the way down stealthily, and finally smacked into the ground stealthily. There was no noise to indicate his suffering, his pain. Luckily Ny Tem's armor took most of the brunt of the fall, so he was just bruised, nothing broken just yet. Ny Tem brushed off the dust and dirt he had gathered from the fall, which was when he looked up and noticed Cynder was right in front of him.

"Oh. Long time no see eh? You're Cynder right?" Ny Tem saw she had packed things as well, most likely because of the invasion. "Going to fight on the front lines too? Last I remember you were more of the running type."

Cynder || Casual; Streets || Four And A Half Hours After Bot Attacks

Interacting with: @Nytem4re
Status: "A thousand disbelievers couldn't keep me on the ground, I've invented a momentum that'll never slow me down." - Anything, Hedley

As Cynder walked through the streets of Casual, her sensitive ears kept twitching and slumping further downwards. The sound of gunfire and whatever else could be heard miles away. Sure, she was used to it, having fought several times before with her Republican weapon including a large battle with the other OldFucks, but it certainly didn't change the fact that she hated the noise of conflict --

Her ears twitched again. This time it was a different sound - a voice.

Well, talking wasn't unlikely as she was likely smack-dab in the middle of the city, but that was besides the point. The point was that she heard someone talking to themselves from above and the voice sounded surprisingly familiar. Sure, she socialized with people in Guild City, but she was just about as good with faces as she was with voices. Come to think of it, it was impossible for her to remember anything save for names and birthdays.

And that's when the screaming came. And then someone thudded down behind her. Quickly whipping around with her hand hovering over Ted Cruz, she looked at the individual. Well, they weren't a KBot that was for sure - "Oh. Long time no see, eh? You're Cynder, right?" Yes, she was Cynder. And who the hell was he? "Going to fight on the front lines, too? Last I remember you were more of the running type."

Immediately her face turned crimson red in a distinct blush and she pulled her arm away from Ted Cruz only to cross her arms in a disapproving matter, "H-Hey! What is that supposed to mean?! I'm perfectly capable of fighting and I-I'm not scared, either!" She paused for a moment, getting a good look at the guy. Why couldn't she remember his name? He was definitely with the OldFucks, but for some reason, all memories of them were extremely blurry. .

Odd.

It was then that she decided that she would simply avoid the subject of his name. The last thing she wanted to do at the moment was to offend a potential ally. "Besides," she continued, "for a guy who just fell from rooftops like an idiot, you shouldn't be talking."

Jay Kane

Location: Unknown Sector, Quadrant Alpha (Calibration in Progress) II Status: Sleeper II Time: +04:12:56

Mission Status: Target Unknown. Continuing Search

As Jay stood on top of the building there was a loud nosie to be heard. He immediately accesed his visor and looked for the source of the sound. On a bridge not so far away, there was a young girl fending off vicious Kbots with an old pipe, along with a skeleton riding a motorbike. It was really confusing at first, but then Jay put away the visor. Just what the heck. He was to thousands of worlds but he never really saw a scene like this. A girl with a drain pipe attacking giant robots with the help of a shabby skeleton riding a motorbike. But then again, he saw weirder things too. But those also suprised him before. He let out a fain sigh as he readied his grapling hook, and then looked down the side of the building that faced the bridge. It had a very steep elevation, but it wasn't a vertical drop at least. He shot the grapple at a sidepanel and then followed it by jumping down the side of the skyscraper.

It was a rough landing as his shoes touched the glass panels. He felt as if he broke his ankle, and knew something wasn't right, but he couldn't catch his breath. With a very violent shake the grapple released and swinged back into Jay's wristbelt. "Oh fuuuuuuuu-". The momentum from the rope threw Jay off balance and he proceeded with a 10 point backflip and then landed on his face, still few hundred meters above ground, sliding very fast towards it. He summoned his steel padded gloves on his hand and put his body in a position where he could see the building's side from. Instantly he retracted his head as a steel beam almost rid him of it. He let out a small thanks to whatever interdimensional gods protected him and that pushed himself up again. Every muscle in his body went tense for a second as he jumped backwards and the turned in the air using his one hand touching the glass still, to finally land in a skating pose. His shoes left angry sparkles behind as the steel tip and end scracthed against the glass. His poncho flapped in his face, to which he replied by threwing it off. He never liked it anyways. But he had another problem ahead. Literally.

The slope in the building was coming to a close end, before turning into a steep drop onto the bridge in front of it. it was no time to think, and he quickly closed his legs, beginning to run jump ovcer another beam in his way and the sprinting and sliding down the slope. The end came pretty close, around 50 meters already. 40 meters. 20 meters. The balcony at the end was fileld with small palm tress and other assortements of tropical plants. Before reaching the edge, Jay proceeded with a huge leap of faith, turning around and shooting his grapple at the fence. The motors in his wrist buzzed with excitement and the rope whirred with an unholy noise. Then the end of the rope attached to the fence, pulling Jay closer towards the glass. He never felt so ashamed and irrirated at the same time in his entire life. Before he even reached the glass, the grapple pulled his arm violently, as if it tried to rip it off his body. Jay let out an excrutiating pain, before hitting teh building and then bouncing off it. Thank god his armor protected him from all kinds of injuries, and his body was stronger than to be simply ripepd away by a mere 1G force. Still it was harsh enough once, and so he detached the already broken grapling hook, sending the rope back into the void back, and leaving onyl teh device on his wrist. The ground was very close, but jay nejoyed the freefall for a second. Then he typed something in his wrist console, to which teh device reacted with a calm beep. He looked down and saw the girl with a katan in his hand. The skeleton was nowhere.

The end of Jay's cape locked into palce on his boots, and Jay turned himself towards an area behind the girl with his new improvised wing suit. It was rough to control, and wasn't very pleasant without a mask, but it was still hellova feeling to cruise through the air like bat. When it was only around 70 meters from the ground, Jay pushed his legs below him, and his cape detached at an instant. His HUD reminded him that his Kinetic Dampeners turned on, and that he should prepare for a landing. Jay focused on the place where he was going to land at, his legs in fron of him, slightly bent, and his cape flapping in the wind behind him. Then with a loud bang he landed, sending pebbles in all directions and releasing a huge shockwave that ran through the street, breaking a few windows along the way, and leaving a massive crack below him.

He promised he'd never do this again after the accident on Drogba 12, but here he is, still doing it, and still in one piece. That said he couldn't think of any body part that didn't ache on him. He might have had a concussion too. Technology and magic can do a lot, especially if combined, but saving your life will be rough every time. As the dust pile around him dissipated he saw the surprised girl who was still wielding the enormous katana. Just now he noticed how big it was, as when he was falling it seemed average size. Jay straightened his back, letting out some serious cracking noises, and then held his hand out for a handshake. "The name's Jay Kane."

Sometimes you just gotta hang on.

Lucius Cypher
Location: Underneath the Bridge between CIS and GIS
Activity: Talking to Terminal over the phone

This girl was very mouthy, abusively so. if Lucius wasn't a sword right now, his body would be quivering in excitement. he didn't consider himself a masochist. But there was always a first time for everything. Still she did have some valid concerns once he realized that they were surrounded. Not only that, but on the other side of the bridge were not only more N Variant Kbots, but an Lbot too. One of them big ones with all the dakka. Frankly, short of matching them in firepower, he wasn't too sure how they could take out that one. A couple of KBot N's, no problem. But with that L Bot providing massive firing support it'd be a doozy.

Around the same time some random weeb showed up. He looked like a cowboy/samurai with a liberal application of edge. He called himself Jay Kane. "Yo." Lucius's slimy body oozed out of the katana, still maintaining it's shape so that the girl had it as a weapon. Seeing this guy here, Lucius didn't feel like he needed to protect the girl. Not if this weeb was man enough anyways. "So. Looks like we walked into an ambush. Fun, yeah? I'm not too worried about N Variants, this girl seems like she could take care of them. Maybe the new guy could stomp the L Variant? If not, I think I vaguely remembered someone yapping about an instant nuke we could use over the local news. I'm going to look into that for a bit, and I'll leave it to you two to... Well, not die. Oh! And the name's Lucy. If we make it out alive, why don't we hang out some more, fight crime and stuff?" Lucius dashed over towards the edge of the bridge getting a firm grip on the edge. "Ciao!"

Lucius began to climb on the underside of the bridge. Hopefully this way the L Variant KBot can't get a clear shot at him this way. But Lucius didn't just go here to take cover. A bony appendage held out a portable payphone for him to contact this Terminal fellow, give him their location and maybe update him on the situation. Of course that was just Plan A. Plan B involved blowing up this bridge with the KBot's on it. Last Lucius checked, these things were not aquatic. So every twenty feet, Lucius created and nailed to the underside of the bridge fifty pounds of Semtex, triggered using a specialized electronic trigger that Lucius hasn't made yet. Overkill? This was just the beginning. Lucius planted bombs on the underside of the bridge all the way up to underneath the KBot's. It was only then that he called up Terminal for further directions. He left a message in case he couldn't get a conversation with Terminal immediately.

"So heeeey, this is uh... Jay Kane. I'm currently fighting against those bots at the border of General and Casual Interest check. Is there anything in particular you'd recommend us doing? Like how do we use that modkit? I think they're getting ready to fire at u-"

Just as he said that, Lucius could hear the Kbot L right above him fire off a huge shot, followed by an equally huge explosion. He couldn't see where it hit, but he could certainly feel it.

"They're shooting at us now. Help?"

Terminal Rancorous Narrative Proxy

Member Seen 23 days ago

@Terminal
Location: Roleplaying Discussion, Guild City Limits
Activity: Holding Back the Tide

Guild City was one of many islands within the vast cosmological structure known as The Web. In the beginning, the First City had been built as a sequestered extension of another, larger ontological mass. After the First Guildfall, when the whole of the First City had been dissolved and remanded to oblivion, Mahz had then endeavored to create a new City - one beholden to no other, and which could stand for itself. Rather than attaching the New City to any other entity, he instead used three Astral Anchors as the foundry for his great work.

Beyond the boundaries of the city, where reality bled into empty zero-void, perceptual constructs such as direction and space lost meaning. There were three anchors, and Guild City was built upon them, but at no actual point did the anchors or the City physically connect, and the anchors did not occupy any particular area - yet simultaneously all existed in the same place. The curious nature of the anchors made it possible not only for Guild City to hang, freely suspended and independent in the void, but also for traffic to come and go from the city. People came and went from other islands in The Web, some merely visitors, others looking for a new home.

As the City had grown though, it had garnered attention from other powers - foreign and alien, with perhaps comprehensible agendas but incomprehensible methodology. Two in particular, the powers responsible for the invasion of robotic drones, were entities of temptation. One offered material goods and steadings while the other offered immense wealth at the hands of Chance's whimsy. Both entities desired to tempt the populace of Guild City. What they decided to do to further that end was to send autonomous golems to the City, to make all the people there aware of their greatness while degrading the environment in order to encourage emigration.

Their servants, better at doing one of these things than the other, entered Guild City by way of the Spam Sector. Having been pushed from there, and since the placement of the anchor they used to enter was fuzzy in any case, they now were using the Roleplaying Discussion Sector to enter Guild City.

Within one of the Sector Hubs, a massive, mechanical terror began to materialize. A titan of reinforced triple-composite armor that bristled with artillery, weapon mounts, arcane sensors, and an inhuman intelligence. Its smallest movements sent a keening, metallic echo throughout the entire surrounding area. Its sensors, numerous and powerful, filled the area with an electric hum as they penetrated through metal and walls to peer into various electronic systems that might be suborned.

The behemoth moved, its six legs carrying it out of the hub and into the Sector Streets. A dreadful, low tone joined the cacophony of malice as its weapons powered up -

Without any fuss, it then vanished into thin air.

Up within the Sector's central tower around which all the hubs were built around, an entity within the top floor's panorama looked down at where the monstrous machine had just stood. The being's form was made up of a clay-like material, vaguely shaped to approximate a humanoid design and bearing no discernible features.

"You..." A clay-like digit tapped on the window pane as the thing's synthesized voice echoed from somewhere around its neck. "...are new."

Terminal added the registry data for that particular S-KBot to an already lengthy list that had been assembled within a floating, holographic screen within arm's reach. They then moved across the panorama, occasionally losing their footing and simply dragging their feet and legs across the ground like an eerie puppet as some inexorable force dragged the body across the room. Looking down at another one of the hubs, Terminal passively watched as two S-KBots materialized within another hub - one already known to them, and the other being the new one that had just been targeted with the Modkit.

Terminal simply targeted the first one to cross the hub boundary, temporarily banishing the construct back into zero-void without any notable flair or fanfair. No sense in discriminating and letting the enemy employ stalling tactics that would add precious minutes to the Modkit's cooldown period. The second S-KBot, unperturbed, moved between the buildings within the Sector proper and out of Terminal's immediate line of sight. The moderator could still see the machine through surveillance, but a jamming suite was preventing acquisition of the Registry Data the war machine had used to gain entry to Guild City. Now it was loose, and Terminal could not afford to keep an eye on it when there were already eight more already causing mayhem elsewhere. Somebody else would have to report its coordinate location and registry data later.

Terminal spent the next few minutes scanning through surveillance feeds on the holo-screen. Turning to the West, it then targeted an incoming artillery shell, the munition seeming to phase directly through the tower as it vanished just before impact. Below the tower in one of the hubs, five squadrons of N-KBots materialized and scattered into the Sector while the Modkit was still recharging.

"...Pissants!" Terminal hissed. Despite the massed destruction the S-KBots were capable of, it was the N-KBots which were causing it the most trouble - they kept suborning or else destroying security systems, including the surveillance feeds Terminal was using to keep track of the biggest threats and to spot and neutralize incoming artillery. Soon, the tower was going to be hit by a shell they had not seen coming. Things would then become decidedly unpleasant.

Looking out from the tower to the East, Terminal targetted a sub-sector they suspected one of the S-KBots might be in and neutralized all of it. In a single uninteresting instant, every building, survivor, and bot in that subsector vanished, leaving a plain of canalized terrain, marked with the occasional spire of concrete denoting the presence of networked City Systems. The buildings could be rebuilt, and the survivors were all being shunted through zero-void into the hub of secured, safer Sectors. Unfortunately, the S-KBot had not been there - but at least the surveillance feeds had been reclaimed.

Terminal's thoughts were interrupted by the holographic screen chiming, indicating an incoming call - from a phone in the Casual Interest Check Sector.

Help?"

Terminal switched one of the surveillance panels opened on the screen to show an overview of the bridge from one of the strut cameras. Sure enough, there was a group of N-KBots clustered around one of the three L-KBots that they had gone out of their way to announce. Like nearly every other KBot in the city, a jamming suite obscured its registry data, preventing use of the Modkit.

"You must provide me with the registry data the L-KBot used to enter Guild City. These are autonomous robotic platforms, and so are required to have their registry stamped clearly on their chassis in order to pass through one of the anchors. Get close enough to find it, and then call back. It has likely been placed somewhere on the chassis that is difficult to get a good look at from most angles, but it will be instantly recognizable. The typeface is a highly distinctive, glowing, golden coloration."

Terminal disconnected the call then. Either this 'Jay Kane' would get it done, or else would shortly be killed, and either way there were other things to worry about-

The panorama exploded as an artillery shell smashed into the top floor and detonated, the rooftop disintegrating into a plume of ashes and dust as the walls of the lower floors collapsed. Shards of glass and hunks of shredded steel rained down onto the streets below, and the entire Sector was filled with the groaning noise of twisting metal as the whole tower swayed slightly from the strain.

Now located four floors below where they had been previously, Terminal's claylike body rose, shifting a collapsed steel beam and two overlapping sections of drywall from their body in the process. With an errant wave, the smoke and dust obscuring the air around the tower dissipated. They approached the lip of the tower, stepping over ruined debris, and peered down at the city in the direction the shell had come from. One of the S-KBots peered back, steaming air still coiling from the barrel of its artillery cannon.

"Nice try." Terminal's synthesized voice hissed. In the next moment, the S-KBot vanished. Conjuring the floating holographic screen once more, Terminal paused as they saw the additional L-KBots that must have entered the Sector when the shell had hit.

"Pissants." Terminal said, their synthesized voice utterly deadpan in tone.

Ties That Bind

Jedly

At first, Jedly thought one of the aforementioned L variants had decided to bombard their location and was about to resort to summoning Bennu. Luckily, that one way ticket to suffering was promptly burned to ashes when a man came rolling out of the hull of a KBot. He took the brief moments he had to analyze the new arrival. The guy was surrounded by an affluent aura, he screamed high class, somebody who had an array of silver spoons offered to him the second he came out of the womb. But since he had essentially just turned himself into a ballistic missile, by society’s standards he would have been classified as a bonafide badass, who melted such silver spoons and drank them alongside money soup. So instead of giving the masked patrician the cold shoulder, Rachel, Juno and Jedly held up signs with the numbers 10 10 8 crudely painted respectively. ”Whaaaaaaa? Only an eight Cipher?! What a crummy critic.”

”Attentive is more like it, young Rachel. Yes, his entry and exit were of the uttermost precision, but did you pay close attention to his form within that hunk of junk? His transition was not as smooth as the rest of his performance. Why yes, the blood of a true judge flows within me!” Jedly shouted, holding a fist and his head high up to the sky as blinding light flashed wickedly behind him.

Eheh~! Kidding, kidding! What, a girl can’t dream of her standoffish friend actually acting like a normal human being for once? Well, I’ll admit that the scene above isn’t exactly normal… Well, anyways, here’s what REALLY happened.”

The three didn’t know whether to act apprehensive or embracing of the guy. Even his tie remained in pristine quality, without even a measly smudge of dust or grime on it. Before anybody could exchange any form of greeting, Juno rocketed her way to the man’s side, ”Look out!” Another N variant had its forearm raised, about to bring it down like a striking hammer. The pink haired maiden skidded to a halt beside him and manifested a small heart case which took the brunt of the attack. With the fine flick of her wrist she then enlarged it so that it fully over-shrouded and called out, ”Open up on it!”

As soon as her words were conducted through the air, two faint thumps went off from both of their sides. Two rockets flew from parallel rooftops and struck the bot without delay. The bot uncontrollably stumbled around as fire poured out of the gaping holes, even in this state it attempted to establish some form of balance in hopes of a programmed recovery. An armada of bullets assaulted the wounded bot’s armor and progressively wore down the metal. The main defense line in cohesion with Jedly and Rachel focused fire on various parts, directed by the GFS squad leader's orders. It wasn’t long before the KBot tumbled into the pavement and was enveloped in a brilliant explosion.

After the havoc died down, the only the ambiance cinders and sparks could be heard. Juno breathed a sigh of relief as the heart case dissipated while the GFS Peacekeeprs reloaded and conversed among themselves. The girl spun herself around and smiled amiably with an outstretched hand. ”Well, totally was not expecting somebody drop in on our shebang… Literally that is.” She chuckled as her friends convened on her, ”I’m Juno, the proponing deity of marriages and ties. Aaaaaaaaand I guess I’ve built myself a bit of a tactical reputation?” Quick-witted and fair judgement was more like it. Cipher was still a little skeptical of the man, but he hoped the helicopter veering towards them had cargo that was on their side. ”The delinquent’s name is Cipher, and the innocent girl next to him is Rachel.” Rachel energetically waved, appreciative of the title, which yet again didn’t fit due to the rifle in her other hand. Jedly relaxed his little posture a little bit, the highest form of friendliness he showed strangers, not like the masked man would know that or anything.

”Sorry, hold up a moment- Um, sir! Can we get an update on the checkpoint? I’m sure it’s not long before the next wave arrives.” The squad leader nodded and began to speak over his radio. Just then, gunfire from one of the rooftops broke the short-lived leisurely mood. A Peacekeeper’s voice blared over the radio, barely audible over the hell that had broken loose. ”Rachel and I will head up top and help them out. Keep things under control down here Juno.” Jedly spoke instantaneously and departed with Rachel in lieu. The deity nodded as her friends hurried off and disappeared behind a right side building’s doors. She had full faith in their abilities to get those soldiers out alive. At least those that were still alive. ”Squad leader! Have the fireteam on the left side regroup on us! We don’t want any crossfire or unnecessary casualties!” She turned back to the masked man and brandished her sword, a spirited smile stretched widely between her cheeks, ”You ready?”

Kalas Alseif || General Interest: Moving toward GFS HQ || + 00:04:39:23 (Initial Attack)

Interaction: @Volenvradica

Status: "Even the smallest of things can cast the largest shadows. Never forget the finer details."

BOOM! The explosion rocked the entire building that Kalas had been traversing on top of, decimating the load-bearing walls on the front side which had caused it to begin collapsing beneath him. He kept his breathing steady but quickened his pace, each step swiftly navigating him past several holes that were beginning to open up. The Demon Prince soon came to the edge of the roof and he prepared himself to leap toward the next rooftop. Lunging forward at the edge of the rapidly falling building, Kalas launched himself into the air. It was too late for him to realize the missile that had been fired in anticipation for his jump. The projectile slammed into the wall of the opposite building that he had expected to land on and exploded, instantly showering him with debris as the force of the explosion blew him back, leaving him a prisoner to the effects of gravity.

Falling three-storeys, however, was child's play for a Demon as Kalas expertly re-positioned his body to land deftly on the rubble ridden street. He did so with a perfected grace, simultaneously drawing his sabers and turning to face the M Variant who had been pursuing him for the past five minutes. "You're rusty Azh, real rusty..." He said to himself. The KBot had stopped, no doubt its' targeting algorithms were trying to calculate his next possible movement so that it wouldn't be caught off guard. So far Kalas had been easily able to avoid its' clumsy shots but this latest attack had meant that it was learning. Kalas watched as the large robot settled into a lower stance. It was preparing to fire, trying to force him into a maneuver he wasn't prepared for, thus being able to catch him with a secondary shot fired immediately after the first. Whatever his movement, he would need to stay grounded. Jumping would prove too predictable and he wouldn't be able to alter his trajectory in mid-air.

A missile was then suddenly expelled from the KBot's chest plate with an audible CHOOMPH! and was speeding straight towards him. Acting on instinct, as he usually did, Kalas immediately dodged to the right, rolling away from the resulting explosion that churned up the section of the street where he was stood only moments before. He rolled again, gaining more distance from the explosion, and could easily define the sound of a secondary missile being let loose. He'd predicted it correctly and as he came out of his roll, Kalas simply dodge-rolled forward before coming up and launching into an all-out sprint, the second projectile sailing by over-head. The M Variant hadn't expected this and became obviously panicked, firing off a third missile that was so off target Kalas could only smile at the feeling of power that surged over him. He was in control now.

Within a matter of seconds, he was directly in front of the machine. Kalas lunged to the right slightly, performing a faint before dashing to the left and carving his blades through the air towards the KBot's right leg. A small leap put his sabers level with the knee-joint as they began slicing through the metal with ease. A metallic SCREECH! rang out as his blades cut through the outer-plating and began severing numerous cables and complex servo rods. Hydraulic fluid started gushing from the rapidly opening gash and the machine itself seemed to let out a wounded scream. Kalas landed but was instantly on the move again, spinning swiftly to face his enemy once more, his blades fast becoming a blur of flashes as he rained a barrage of attacks upon the damaged joint. It wasn't long before the metal limb gave way and sent the KBot careening to the ground. It fired off two missiles as it fell but they simply flew into the sky before exploding harmlessly. The I.D.R.I.S. Commander then simply and effortlessly jumped upon the downed robot and stared into its' central eye. His face hardened as he did so but it would be impossible for the machine's facial recognition systems to make out exactly who he was, due to the pitch black shadow that covered the top half of his face seemingly cast by his hood, a useful bit of cloaking magic courtesy of I.D.R.I.S.

Holding Ahael, his left blade, outstretched and pointing straight at the eye of the machine, Kalas said only one thing, "Begone from this City." Then mercilessly impaled Osebon, his right blade, dead center into the eye. The screeching of servos and the grinding of gears, as they came to a halt, sounded similar to a monster's last death cry. Kalas watched in silence as the KBot finally died then yanked his blade from it, sheathing both of his sabers in one swift movement. The Commander then looked up to the rooftops, visualizing a path to reach them. Once he'd spotted it, he acted quickly, bounding and leaping upon various balconies and ledges in order to reach the building tops. He needed the height in order to properly survey the battle and the people fighting in it. So far he'd seen only a few people of note fighting to hold back the KBot advance from 1x1, but since he'd entered General Interest, Kalas had been more pre-occupied with maintaining stealth, however, it already seemed to him that a lot more of the public had decided to help the Guild Future Society out than he'd anticipated. He'd need another set of eyes.

Kalas mentally sifted through the list of agents he could call for help, but his gut instinct told him not to call anyone out of hiding for a menial task such as this. Instead, he would look to another. A trusted contractor who he'd tracked down to hire himself. The Council had been suspicious of him at first but he'd since earnt their trust. 'Volen would probably appreciate the call too...' He thought, remembering their last meeting. He pulled out his Holo-Com, thumbing the switch to activate it as he'd done earlier to notify the council of his position. He looked up Volen's contact details then proceeded to compose a message:

>// I have a job for you. Meet me near the GFS Headquarters. Remember to take the usual precautions.

Kalas then pocketed his Holo-Com and began rushing towards their designated meeting point for this sector, time would not wait for him to move idly.

Kirin
Casual interest check

Kirin could definitely feel the sword vibrate just a little. Her face cringed in disgust of thinking that the sword would get turned on by fighting or whatever the hell he was thinking. Kirin started making her way towards the bridge so she could destroy all these robots that were invading the casual interest area.

Kirin had noticed the other person approaching too but didn't even bat an eye at her. The stupid sword was talking again? Kirin made another click sound with her tongue while giving the sword a big swing to make it stop talking.

"Do your goddamn job and be a sword instead of some mutant skeleton! I'll just chop the thing up like a vegetable. No nukes involved."

Some random dude suddenly stood in front of her. Kirin stammered back for a moment and wanted to slice the object appearing suddenly in front of her. Instead she could barely change the direction of the sword and only make it cut a small part of the hat on his head. Kirin dropped the sword onto her thigh. Letting it hang losely in the palm of her hand. She placed her other hand in her waist and titled her body ever so slightly to give the man the 'what do you want' look. He poked out his hand at her and introduced himself. Kirin only placed thr half of her hand on his so that she could pull back better and gave a curious glare at him.

"Yo, I'm Kirin"

The creep split itself in half maintaining the sword and a separate body so he could flank them. The sword became half the size making it a decent katana instead now instead of the giant thing. Kirin swung the sword once more to test it out and maintained her dominant look while continuing to walk.

"Good job rubbish, go bait those bastard so I can hit them from behind."

Kirin walked past the man and gave him a cold glare but said no more. She either suspected him to do nothing but stand there or hot her from behind. Two things to watch out for. Kirin walked up to the robots and slowly made her way through them. Occasionally a 50. Call shot was shot at her from the bigger robot. She barely got to dodge it or averted it with the blade of the sword.

M-Bot Ba Dubi Dop

"Why do you assume that everything a man does has some kind of sexual motivation behind it? Doesn't that seem like a sexist thing to assume?"

What's Your 20: General Interest, I THINK. || Senpai Who Noticed Me: @Kalas

Guild City will be fun, they said.

"Nope, nope, nope, nope."

Volen sprinted in a panic, ignoring a sore left shoulder as the adrenaline helped to numb the pain. His escape was partly obstructed by fallen debris, a testament to the destructive power of the Kore K-Bots. Years of daily urban running made it possible to overcome these obstacles. He hopped, slid, and safe-rolled as needed, putting much more effort in his escape than his enemy in its pursuit. He dared to take a glance at the advancing N-word Normal Variant K-Bot, his heart nearly skipping a beat as he watched it swat away at the debris in its path.

An amusing idea came to mind despite the frightening chase. He recalled the image of the vintage Philosoraptor, where the ancient bird of prey used one of its talons to stroke its chin while pondering. If this N-Variant minded the rubble, could deliberately prolonging this pursuit help clear the streets of General Interest? Volen tried to laugh, but any sound he made was drowned out by the defeaning collision of metal against concrete. The robotic whirs of the enemy were just as unsettling as it came closer. The Bot began to gain speed once the streets started to clear, and Volen was nearly out of breath. He had been running from this one Bot for five minutes now, amazed and terrified of its ability to track a target for this long.

He gripped his submachine gun, dove forward and spun in mid-air to face his pursuer. He glared at the red of its eyes, aiming for the trio as he pulled the trigger. He kept firing until his back struck the ground, at which he immediately rolled to the side. He used the momentum to get back on his feet and confirm a visual.

As he had hoped, at two of its optical sensors were damaged. It's single remaining eye seemed to glow brighter, as if angered. The Bot raised its front shielded arms, like a spider about to engage. Volen humored the brute, making a show of reloading his primary weapon and training it on the Bot. Still, he wasn't certain if a short trap may have registered as a threat. Then, as if amplified by built-in bullhorns, the N-Variant blasted what could only be described as a pissed off Korean denied his Ace of Angels tour.

Seriously.

He could have sworn he heard: "ANNYEONGHASEYYOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Volen had to cover his ears. Not that the noise overwhelmed him, but a quick assessment made him realize the true danger of this apparent war cry. If it were any other man, this would be last thing he heard before the Bot would get the drop on him. Luckily for Volen, he could... control....his....

"Seoul-Hyun, I'm sorry!" Volen unclipped two grenades and tossed them at the bot, then unloaded his SMG until the explosion made him flinch.

The Bot ceased its incessant cry. It retreated back after sustaining damage under its belly. Its arms did well to protect it from further attacks. When the firing stopped, the Bot parted its arms. The target was nowhere to be seen.

Volen slowed his breathing, willing his heart to pump silently if possible. He reached down below his waist, the only part of him effected by that damn Bot's crafty attack. What the fuck did Guild City do to bring this upon itself, he wondered. He didn't dare look this time as he hid behind rubble just ten yards away. He waited for what felt like an eternity until the sound of mechnical limbs became more distant.

"Yeah, fuck you too." Volen examined his pelvis, finally feeling relief from the firmness. He breathed a sigh and facepalmed. Choa would be next love now.

"PURPLE RAIN, PURPLE RAIN!"

He pulled out his phone bitterly. Now, just who the fuck---

Oh?

>// I have a job for you. Meet me near the GFS Headquarters. Remember to take the usual precautions.

Normally, anything from contract-senpai would make Volen's heart melt. But all libido at this point was robbed from that fucking Bot. Though, the thought of Kalas petting him...

He felt his cheeks warm, his lips curving into an embarassed smile as he texted back.

>// TrapisLife: New in town. Where is that? D:

Wait. Shit.

The tiny brunette collapsed to his knees. Gloved fists struck the ground as Volen wept over his own error. "They were expecting me to help with MOPPING UP! Damn it, I suck so hard."

The Commander routed her troops and sent half over to Jedly to assist them. "I dont know who you are Citizen but the majority of us are moving towards the Free Interest border to establish some sort of Blockade. You are welcome to assist." She shouted to him before taking the remainder of her troops and marching through the cleared area of General interest check towards Free.

Soon they met up with the GFS troops on the Free border. Commander Kurai Assassin of the BKS Helljumpers. I have 450 strong veteran troops ready to help secure the border. Where's your CO i need to speak with them." She said to a Sergeant who was running to fetch some more ammo or something like that.

Kilo Pestifer Leon

Location: Front Lines of GIC (Mission #1)
@Jedly @Kurai Assassin

Electricity arced off Kilo's body as he cracked his neck, throwing himself into the battle like that would put strain on his body, but it wasn't anything he couldn't fix. He took his time cracking every part of his body, his back, arms, legs, limbering up for the battle that would soon take place. He was so focused on stretching, that barely noticed the trio that stood a few feet away, brandishing score cards as if they were judges for the Olympic high dive that he had just preformed. Despite the monotony of it all, Kilo found himself frowning at the 8 that he was given, it was a perfect fall. Kilo made the decision that the judge was the Simon Cowell of the trio.

Kilo remained silent while the group conversed amongst one another, criticizing Simon Cowell's choice in score. No, the Preeminence chose to remain vigilant, frowning under his mask at the GFS Forces, disapointed at the small number of Members that they had sent, it seemed that the BKS and the SES would have to bring the man power. Kilo sighed, GFS trusted the Civilian fighters to much, nothing stopped him from completely taking over GIC, which he planned to do, no doubt, Spam would also fall prey to SES occupation. An official Legion was on its way here, it would arrive in about 2 hours, as of now though, the makeshift Legion here was on its way, in about 10 minutes, it would back up GFS forces and show the mighty power of the SES, and what a group could do when all racial barriers were knocked down.

Kilo was so deep in thought, that after realizing it, he noticed a N Variant KBot trying to bring down its club of an arm on him, but was blocked by he Pink one. In one fluid motion, she enlarged her heart shaped locket, and fired 2 rockets, along with GPS Forces fire, the bot blew up in a torrent of metal and flames.

Not half bad. Kilo thought to himself. Although he more than fast enough to dodge it, or strong enough to take the attack, he appreciated the thought.

"Unusual for the deity of marriage to be destroying bots, but I'm in no place to judge. Juno, Cipher, Rachel.‘’ Kilo said bowing and nodding slightly in reply to Juno's introductions.

"My name is Kilo, some are to lazy to say the whole thing and call me Kil, call me whatever you please. As for the Defense Checkpoint, last I saw, it was well on its way to being completed, a SES Legion left not to long ago to assist us here, so it should be almost finished." Kilo said unexcitedly, rubbing his chin in thought.

Quickly though, his thinking session was interrupted by short lived and gunfire and the departure of Rachel and Cipher, leaving him the the marriage deity Juno. Kilo frowned under his mask, not his ideal partner, but as he said before, he was in no place to judge. Unfortunately, Kilo regretted to his vow to avoid judgment when Commander Kurai apppered, battered and bruised, sporting a wide eyed beady look and reminded them of thier mission.

"I thank you for the assistance and reminder, but keep watch on your own men, you seemed to be taking to many casualties, a bit to much to be stretching them thin like this." Kilo said calmly, his voice lightly laced with contempt due to what Kilo saw a carelessness on her part.

Guess Who | The Casual Interest Checks

With one hand gripped around the hilt of his sword and crouching slightly to not give away his position to possible enemies, Guess Who walked cautiously through the empty street. Well, it wasn't exactly empty. There were plenty empty husks of destroyed K-Bots, varying from H-Variant to M-Variant with a few F-Bots scurrying around too. They weren't worth the effort or the risk of giving away his position though so he planned on leaving them be. That was the plan anyway, doesn't mean it always works out that way. An idiotic F-Bot somehow found itself standing exactly where Guess was placing his foot, causing it to let out a high pitched screech. A disappointed sigh left the warrior's lips before stating, "Well shi-"

Crash!

Suddenly three Normal Variant K-Bots appeared in front of Guess Who's path, only after completely decimating a couple buildings to get to him. Unsheathing his bastard sword, Guess Who looked at the closest of the hostiles before jumping into the air. Not only was his armor as durable as steel, but it actually slightly increased things like his strength and speed, allowing him to pull maneuvers like the one he was about to do. He really needed to thank The Irish Tree again next time he saw him. Landing on top of the bot's head, he stabbed the sword downward in between the head and the rest of the body creating a sickening sound of grinding metal.

Seeing their comrade in trouble did not seem to deter the mindless machines as they charged forward with limbs raised, ready to crush Guess in one fell swoop. Unfortunately for them, they weren't prepared for the other tools in their target's arsenal. With his left hand still on his sword, his right reached for his holstered handgun and fired a barrage of bullets at both of their faces, destroying their visual receptors. With the bots now blind, Guess Who pulled his sword out and jumped off his first attacker and causing the three to collide with each other. The young man looked at the aftermath of the fight, giving a simple, satisfied nod before turning back to the bridge that lay only a few blocks away. It was time for him to enter the real fighting and he'd be sure that these things would learn just how bad of an idea it was to attack a man's home.
