@VitaVitaAR - Alright. Is that awareness give one a sense of the direction their Hex Symbol is or just that it's being held?
@VitaVitaAR - We shall see. Sophia isn't chomping at the bit to get at her hex symbol but she'd rather take it than see it destroyed this early into the competition. That reminds me of another question I remembered I just had.

Do magical girls innately sense where their hex symbols are or are they able to lose track of where they are?
@VitaVitaAR - I have a couple questions. Firstly do the magical girls already have their hex symbols or do they receive those in a later event?

Secondly can the hex symbols break from any sort of damage or does it need to be a special sort of damage? Can one be broken simply from dropping it too hard?

If the needle girl does have her hex symbol on her I'm considering having the raven steal the glass orb away before it can be destroyed (with your permission of course).
@Lmpkio - There's one more post left for this event. The culmination of this power, much like the Fear Spire event, will result in a new Divine Cord being born into this world. It's fate will either be decided... Or not. I have a plan either which way this goes.

I have posted the update! In addition I am performing both a roll-call and a notification to find out who's still participating and to let everyone know the changes made to the rules.

I've gone ahead and mentioned everyone I believe is still actively participating so they will see this announcement. Do keep in mind that my memory isn't perfect so if I haven't mentioned you and you're still participating do let me know. If you were mentioned and you aren't participating my apologies if I may have forgotten or missed that OOC post.

I'm announcing that I've added a new rule to the OOC rules section. As I've mentioned in the past I do not allow deities to be brought in as NPC's since they are too important to the narrative to be relegated to the status of side characters. There are events which effect the divine on a global scale (such as the upcoming event) and will apply to all deities, no exceptions. This wasn't, however, a printed rule on the front page before so I decided to finally update it to include that. Now, I'll be lenient towards those who might be dabbling in such matters before this announcement since it wasn't strictly a rule until now but from here on out there will be no deities without players sitting about the world. My apologies to those this negatively effects but I feel this needs to be implemented for the good of the story.

As a side note this only applies to deities. Other creations are free to remain unattended for any amount of time. If they occupy a fair chunk of the land and the player behind them has left they may run the risk of being acted upon by other players. I shall respect my player's wishes whenever possible, regardless of whether they wish to remain or leave.

It certainly has been a rather hectic holiday. Having a cold I've still been running at low wattage for much too long for my tastes and things really haven't slowed down in that time. People have joined, people have left and things have been a bit of a jumble over these holidays. Nevertheless I am happy to say that with those still on board for this journey I still have much in store and we're moving full steam ahead.

My aim is to cover several important periods of history where the world is ripe for shaping, each stage punctuated with events which reveal why Tabrasa, the divine and humanity are the way that they are. This is but the first stage in this world's history and depending on how you all feel the time spent between the next stages will be either much farther apart or closer together. Overall I estimate that the meat of the story will take place around the point where humanity will have developed the majority of the building blocks necessary for the trappings of a high-fantasy medieval adventure. This means castles, cities and weapons more complex than stones tied to the ends of sticks. What else they have is up to you all as you are their gods. Their future is yours to shape.

Edit: @ZAVAZggg@Stabby - Here's a mention for you both as well since I'm due to introduce your deities once the passage into the next stage arrives.
Even as Hayim watched on through teary yellow eyes it seemed all for naught. He could not lose himself to the way of the forest quite like it seemed the dragons were about to.

Wings, teeth, scale and claw were naught before the power that assailed them. The skin which webbed between the bones of their wings turned firm and ripe with vibrant green chlorophyll. Their teeth were turned into cold hard wood. Their scales became tough and rigid bark. Even their claws were changed into long, sharply edged roots. Though they moved still it was not muscle and sinew which pulled their limbs but vines and fibers instead. Their blood was now sap, their eyes now light-sensitive fruit tucked beneath their hard wooden brow. They no longer had anymore right to call themselves dragons than the tall ents of this forest had to call themselves human.

This process did not discriminate between the dragons of Sveiand and those of Ragnageddon either. It mattered not which god's essence ran in their veins for the aura would claim them all as plants. Neither Drakairos nor Azhriel were safe either, even if it did take longer for the changes to take place. The physical form was always the first to change as their soft meat would begin to morph into wood and fiber. They could feel their eyes begin to harden into soft fruits and Azhriel's hair would be starting to thicken and turn green. All the while their attacks were futile as the tree healed over any harm it sustained in mere moments, carrying the scars of these wounds into the rings which formed it's many, many layers.

All the while the fruit that was born of Thesan's attack trembled under the immense pressure it's heat was generating. The red fruit trembled even as it transformed fully, the temperature having remained despite it all. In one tremendous burst the fruit burst open from the force of it's juices exploding outward simply due to how hot it was. From it came a massive shower of bright red juice and seeds which ruptured forth like artillery shells. Though random in their scattering a number of dragons were plastered with scraps of it's flesh and juices, it's seeds catching a couple dragons in their trajectory and ripping through them like stones through water. Those who were covered with the juices of the fruit howled in extreme pain. Even despite their new state of body the juices were so spicy they could feel it's burn sizzle right down to their core. That's not even factoring in that the temperature of these juices were hot enough to melt led.

As the seeds impacted the ground below they burrowed deep before sprouting almost immediately after. From the large, round, hostile looking peppers grew and proliferated across the forest floor. Calling it a forest at this point was almost a misnomer as the landscape was now something of a bizarre jungle consisting of almost all plants you might find in Tabrasa and even some that didn't even exist before like the peppers, the stones or the dragons.

High above the two lights danced faster and faster, spiraling around one another in a helix which seemed to begin tightening around itself. The beam was growing thinner, more intense that before now. While the aura's radius was beginning to shrink the potency of it's changes were intensifying, those caught within changing faster and faster the closer they were. Hidden deep within the trunk of the tree the deep black color that infused the spiral spire was receding, falling back towards the core of the world.

.
.

The time of it's creation was nigh.

Just an update: I've come down with a cold which has slowed down my creative processes a tad. I'd rather take another day to flesh out a post rather than rush something so I'll try and have the update on the event up tomorrow. My apologies for this delay.
It appears I have some work cut out for me. Apologies for how short this post is but I'll try and elaborate more once I've finished my next spire event post and updated the rules in the OOC. I should have that all done by tomorrow evening at which point I'll try to address everything currently happening as best as I can.
@Dealdric - Due to the next event still pending I can't discuss certain matters right now but when the time comes I'll let you know why that doesn't work for a number of reasons.

Do be patient. It'll be soon.
@Lmpkio - I'm projecting to have this current event done in the next two posts of mine. After that the next event will immediately proceed, beginning with a mild grace period to allow everyone time to wrap up their collabs and such before it drops in full. All I can say is that it won't go unnoticed.
