Goal:

Mad.

Monster.

Enigmatic.

These are words that Changer of Forms has carried proudly. She is a shark in the sea of sand, the sublime desert of the real. She is a predator, yes, but a creature who believes herself to be fated to help the weak humans. To guide them towards strength. To awaken the dreamers from their endless slumber.

Or so this current iteration of Changer holds.

Changer of Forms seeks pain. Changer of Forms seeks suffering. Not out of cruelty. Certainly not out of malice. She seeks to subtly push those around her. She aims to nudge them onwards. And she aspire to push them forwards into danger. All for change. All to help others change. For in changing them she changes herself...and the cycle continues.

Personality:

Changer of Forms...is a thousand forms, a thousand faces, and a thousand personalities. She is whoever she wants to be. She is whoever other people want her to be. She is whoever...whatever she needs to be

When madness beckons. When the heavy crown of ascendancy threatens, Changer simply discards her skin, reforms her soul, and becomes someone new. A new self, a different self, less burdened by corruption, not yet drunk on blood.

She hates no one. Least of all the humans. She views the poor wretched humans with a fondness unexpected of a Wild. She shines in their company. She relishes in the entertainment they provide her. She marvels at their stubbornness, their unwillingness to die. She studies them. She teaches them. She learns from them. Becoming one of them, she tastes the countless flavors of reality.

Changer feeds. Like all Wilds she feeds off of the emotions of the humans. Pain is delicious. Suffering divine. But it is change, change that Changer worships. And change that she believes in.

Changer of Forms wears many masks. She takes many shapes. She adopts many names. She creates many memories. She creates many histories. And she creates many lives. These simulacra never conceal the truth. They are the truth. The truth that there is none.

Changer of Forms is certain of this. She believes it even as she destroys that which she creates. She does not weep for her lost selves. They are the price she gladly pays. Her lives are to be spent, but spent wisely and well. Guided by signs and symbols, she seeks new stories, to memorize, to experience, and to show her the threads of reality.

History:

Changer of Forms recalls years upon years. Long decades and time beyond that of the short-lived humans. At least she did. However, change demanded otherwise. The needs of the many outweighed any of her own reluctance. Her self had to be shattered. Her soul had to be changed. Old memories would not do. The past had to be abandoned.

All that she was, all that she had been, was a relic. A mere vessel. She had only to let go. A new world awaited. A world teaming with new life. Creatures that needed her. Enlightenment beckoned. 

The east whispered of mystery to her, so she set her feet to the road of the new. That night, bathing in the new light of existence, she saw smoke in the west. She dreamed of burning temples and a gallows song on the wind.

Somewhere, sometime, she left herself clues to follow. She fuzzily remembers, uncertain whether such thoughts were once her own or simply the foundations she built for her current persona.

She is Changer. She has been Changer for some time. Changer is the kind traveler, Teresa, an unaligned idealist. A mousey young woman, a doctor with dreams of good, hiding beneath layers of azure fabric and a mask of gold.

Inventory:
Mask - The work of some long dead craftsman, Changer wears an Abyssal Energy powered mask that filters the air she breathers in. Although in truth, as a Wild, Changer has no need for such protections.

Wasteland Traveler's Clothes - Changer wears a set of traveling clothes well-suited for traveling the inhospitable Dust. Dyed a bright blue, her clothes are lined with a golden trim and symbols, that mark Changer as a doctor of sorts or what remains of the once proud field of medicine. Her set of clothes, consists of boots, wool breeches, a sturdy belt, a shirt with a matching vest, and a strong jacket with a hood that covers her head, obscuring most of her features.

Revolver - Keen to avoid violence in her current role and wishing to appear discerning in her tastes, Changer carries an antique firearm with an esoteric design, a pleasant number chambered in .454 Casull that Changer seems to easily wield despite her modest size.

Backpack - Changer keeps a backpack stocked with a bedroll, mess kit, tinder box, small miscellaneous items needed for the aspiring traveler.

Medical Kit - Within a waterproof plastic case, Changer carries the medical tools and equipment necessary to provide immediate medical treatment.
