"I swear if you did something to my drink, you'll be out of Beverly Hills and I am not talking about the school." Lucky raised an eyebrow, glancing at Alexandros from the corner of his eye.
'Is he seriously known for that?' The foreign student couldn't help but think.
'Definitely need to steer away from that guy.' Lakshya listened to Dominique chuckle cutely, before commenting again.
"So that's why people call you the Queen around here, not just because of your beauty."'Real smooth, jackass. What's next? She's the Queen of Hearts!?' Lucky resisted the urge to facepalm at his stupidity. Well, at least he was
trying to compliment her. As long as it didn't come out weird or creepy, Lucky guessed he could be in the clear with Dominique.
It came as a surprise as Dominique grabbed his hand excitedly, dragging him towards a group - what he guessed was the band - before pulling him up to the
stage. Seriously, what was he supposed to do there beside the queen? Stand there and look pretty? He was a nobody, Lucky was sure people were going to talk about Dominique's level of comfort with a
stranger at school soon enough. Immediately, Lakshya followed her off the stage, taking his place beside her as the music started.
Still standing there without a drink in his hand, he looked at Dominique bouncing quite happily to the pop song being played live for the party. Letting out a small chuckle, muffled by the music, he couldn't help but shake his head at her.
"Cute."He wasn't sure whether his words were drowned out by the music, but its not like it mattered anyway: it was the truth. Lucky never realised one hand was still linked with Dominique's, his fingers still curled around hers as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
After leaving Dominique behind with the strange foreigner, Analise headed towards the bar with the intention of grabbing herself a drink and to greet Audrey, who still didn't seem to have noticed her arrival. Analise couldn't help but notice how Audrey was talking to Jackson, with Alexandros leaning on the counter right beside Jackson.
'Strange, I thought they couldn't stand each other.' It could have been way too hopeful for her to believe that Jackson and Audrey were willing to befriend Alexandros again--
"Hey, asshole, didn't you see we're in the middle of a conversation?!" ---nevermind, seems like things were as normal as before. Analise huffed under her breath, the chuckle escaping her lips without her permission as she leaned against the counter of the bar, first wanting a drink before seeing Audrey - at least giving her enough time to cool down before showing her face. After ordering her drink, Analise turned, expecting to see her newly made friend right behind her. Sure enough, he was still there.
'I still need to find him a girlfriend...' "How are you finding the party so far? It's pretty cool, isn't it?" She asked David. While Analise contemplated the different types of girls who could potentially stir any interest in her new friend, Jackson came up beside her with his charming grin.
"Jackson! Hi!" She grinned, at him as the bartender slid her mocktail across the counter, in her direction. Winston yipped from her arms, as if he were greeting the jock too as Anna laughed.
"He's Winston, but calling him Winnie is so much fun." Just as Anna said 'Winnie', Winston yipped again, this time sounding offended as he tried wiggling out of her grip.
Remembering David behind her, Anna stepped to the side to allow Jackson to see him properly.
"Before I forget, this dork over here is Jackson Aurum," facing David again, gesturing in his direction, she continued the introductions,
"and this is David Powers." Letting Winston escape her grasp, the girl took the drink that was on the counter and took a sip of it.
"I met Davy at the pet sitter's this morning and I thought this party would be the best way to help him get some friends. Hm..." The girl's voice trailed off as she thought about her new matchmaking job once more.
Brought out of her thoughts at Jackson's suggestion for a walk, Analise's lips curled into a smile. However, before she could answer Jackson, Dominique's voice sounded from somewhere away, introducing Imagine Dragons to the crowd quickly gathering around the stage. Grinning, Analise turned back to face Jackson again,
"a walk sounds lovely, we can go once the song is over." She suggested.
