Sometimes Giulia is a hurricane - a force that knows what it is years before it realizes its full potential, but everyone doubts just how strong she is. Everyone carries on life without acknowledging that she could ruin their lives at a given moment. Yeah, sometimes Giulia is a hurricane because her biggest critic is the voice in her head that leads her to do reckless things. Ever the perfectionist at home, at school, during projects, with her friends, in her love life, if everything doesn't go according to her plans, everything outside her mind falls apart.
Sometimes, Giulia views herself as a tornado. Unpredictable. Uncertain. It could cause wide-spread destruction to the innocents who didn't wrong her, or what seemed like a disaster waiting to happen could simply...cease to exist because she allowed herself time to breath. Because this is the thing with Giulia. She is bold and couragous and a force that nobody with a brain can deny, but deep down, she is someone who holds onto the criticisms everyone makes. She holds onto the negativity and lets it fester until she explodes. Her heart is likely the biggest you'll encounter cause everything she does in her life, especially making connections with people, is always done to perfection. She loves people with her whole heart and soul. She will die for people who she promised her world to, and when they hurt her, when they betray her vote of confidence in them, she holds onto that too. She lets it fester until the boiling pot in her mind explodes and things happen that leave Giulia's control.
And rarely, regardless what happens, does she immediately feel remorse. Giulia has that eye for an eye mentality. If she wrecks lives, it's because those people deserved it. If she killed your spirit, it's because you killed hers first.
Yeah, sometimes Giulia is a tropical storm, but sometimes she is what's necessary. She is a force. She's a storm that nobody thinks will ever be as bad as it can be, but piss off the mighty forces in the world and karma is coming to get you.

She has, on occasion, helped members of the cosplay club know how to sew or simply help them when they needed something complex done. Plans After Graduation:
Before the most recent summer, Giulia had a plan: get into either an amazing design program in hollywood during the summer after she graduated or get into the best costume design college like FIT and eventually get a job working for hollywood’s costume design. The goal was to achieve that within seven years. That was Giulia’s seven-year-plan. It’s what she was prepared to say during her senior exit interview. She already has her portfolio and several graphs from bar to pie charts to even a separate power point slide show detailing everything out.
But now? Giulia doesn’t know if that’s what she still wants. Julian’s betrayal put a stop to all that. Her plans and what she was looking forward to were put to a stop. She knows, deep down, she still wants to do that but Giulia isn’t confident in herself that she wants to achieve all that immediately following high school. She simply just doesn’t know what she wants anymore.

She is the moon, fragile and uncertain about a lot, but the sun represents her cousin Shy who is always willing to protect her and not be quiet about it. The clouds are the force that she didn't realize was there in Mori and her star, the one that she didn't discover true feelings for until very recently, is Nikki. Together, they are her anchor as well as the reason she keeps at the process of doing better, but they remind her she also needs to do it for her, as well.

History:
Giulia came into this world the same way she's lived it: a series of unfortunate events.
Her story dates back to when Neal Blake was living in New York. At the time, he was aspiring to be just like his mother, always has been: a world-class chef, but he knew he wasn't the chef that she was. Even though he had a degree from culinary school, Neal's passion was elsewhere. He liked food styling. Maybe this has to do with his father, whose eye for creativity, making something beautiful out of nothing, and maximizing the simplistic beauty of his canvas via his camera or simply Neal being a rather pretentious asshole has never been proven. What he had always loved, though, is how there were so many different ways his mother managed to make a plate a treat for the eyes and the stomach. The eyes are the gateway to the soul, she used to say and the stomach how you judge that gateway. You don't just feed customers, you entrance them. Those were the words that lived with him right up until he was smitten with someone asked to meet the chef of a bistro he was working for at the time.
Natalia Isadora Taccone was her name. Beautiful olived skin. Eyes of green that made even the freshest basil leaf put to shame. Their dance was a mix of mutual admiration for the food and the attraction between them. Neal was barely twenty when he met her and just twenty-one when they slept together for the first time. A year later they moved into a New York apartment. For five years, their relationship blossomed and each of them followed their passion. Neal spent so many of the nights they had together awake with Natalia completely in a trance with her, learning about her and what she loved. Her past and how she had a family that was met with mixed feelings. She had two older brothers and a younger sister. A father who made Neal think of his grandfather, or at least the stories his father had told him. Those were intense conversations, but the years went on and as they developed a deeper level to their relationship, eventually Natalia was pregnant with their first child. A daughter. And while vacationing with their families in Italy, in a villa within the Tuscany countryside, Natalia gave birth to Giulia Antonella.
And as Giulia grew up, where might one add, was in south california where, ironically, Neal's twin sister, Erin lived. She became pregnant and gave birth to a daughter not long before Giulia was born. One might say it was fate that it happened. The twin's bond never failed to amuse them.
Giulia would eventually have two siblings: a younger sister, Natalina Alessia and Lorenzo Luca. Nelly is 2 years younger than Giulia and Enzo three. Both were amazing human beings. Nelly was 100% Natalia's daughter in every sense. Fierce and stubborn but also poetically soft and compassionate. Enzo is the playboy his grandfather was with much more confidence and swagger.
Giulia, however, was a mix of both and not for the best reasons half the time. Her love was fashion. She didn't share her father's love for cooking nor her mother's love for volleyball. She wasn't a bad cook nor was she terrible at her mother's favorite sport, but neither of those were her love. She fell in love with fashion. It began when she was a little girl and she would play dress-up with her siblings and the girls that she is friends to this very day: Morrigan, Shiloh, and Nikki. She loved designing and had a ripe talent for sewing. She was much like her father and grandmother, but her canvas was not a plate where food would be presented aesthetically. Her canvas was the human body. Her ingridents were fabric of all colors and feels. The intricicies of patterns were the garnishes and her finishing touches were the accessories she designs. Everything had a way in working itself out and Giulia was only getting better. Her future was bright. She had hopes of going to a fashion school maybe in New York or perhaps in one of the fashion capitals of the world. Everything was lining up perfectly.
...Until May of 2024. Just a few weeks until the end of the year where her entire world fell apart.
At the time, Giulia had been dating Julian Russo for a while. They were actually really serious. As serious as a high school couple could get, anyway. And they were bred for high school royalty. Julian was connected to the Mossos family of Beverly Hills and Giulia to the Blakes of North Carolina. Giulia had been going through the pressures of being an overachiever, so she was regularly attending therapy to help manage the pressure she was putting on herself. It was, at the least, something she felt embarrassed about and didn't tell anyone. Nobody outside her inner-circle of Mori, Shy, and Nikki and her family knew, but somehow, through a grapevine (aka Enzo blabbing to the wrong person), word got to Julian and he didn't take not knowing well and soon it spread like wildfire around school.
Giulia didn't take it well.
Actually, she had a rather terrible reaction with it.
Known as the "Taccone Terror Event" - TTE, some would call it, Giulia showed just how much like her mother she was. Natalia, in her day as a volleyball player, was known for her aggression within the net. And Giulia applied that same rage, the rage of a broken heart, to Julian's car. It was a nice car but after she was done with it, it was a nice and totaled car.
That was during the second week of May. By the third week, to avoid trial and worse charges than Giulia got, she was admitted to a mental health facility that was for the troubled youths of the Southern California area (mainly Beverly Hills kids). It was a top of the line resort and there Giulia got the help she needed. She was diagnosed with BPD and anxiety disorder, which was going to be her initial diagnosis before her episode.
Giulia spent nearly the entire summer in that place. Having so many weeks and days, night where the noise in her head were loud but then went quiet, it allowed her the benefit of being able to think. The medication they gave her helped numb some of the louder thoughts in her head, but the therapy (both one-on-one sessions and group) helped her. She was resistant for the first couple of weeks, but got a reality check that she needed to participate. What really helped, however, was her family frequently visiting. It was small because the doctors didn't want her to become overwhelmed (it was a trigger), so it was immediate family for the first week and a half of June. By the end of the month, she was able to have non-immediate family visitors, which meant Shy could visit. She was family but not immediate.
And that's what really started Giulia's true healing process. The doctors noticed that having three very specific visitors greately increased Giulia's willingness to go 100% into the process: Morrigan Montgomery, Shiloh Blake, and Nikki Vega.
And in these visits, whether it was as a group or just Nikki, Giulia found herself looking at one of her best friends differently. She started to notice things Nikki did in a different way. Found deeper meaning in it.
Even after she was given a bit of leeway in her "prison break" for a birthday gift (thank you, Doctor Park), Nikki couldn't help but notice Nikki more. They went to Santa Monica Pier and the entire day with Nikki and her girls was eye-opening.
To this day, Giulia hasn't been able to stop thinking about her best friend like how one might think of a lover. She hasn't confessed. She's too afraid of rejection. The last time she got rejected ended in catastrophe. Perhaps that's why she's fell into the hole of online streaming. She's changed names, but she has confessed what she has been feeling for Nikki to her subscribers. She's too afraid to even do it that it terrifies her. What if she doesn't feel the same? What if she likes someone else?

...Until May of 2024. Just a few weeks until the end of the year where her entire world fell apart.
At the time, Giulia had been dating Julian Russo for a while. They were actually really serious. As serious as a high school couple could get, anyway. And they were bred for high school royalty. Julian was connected to the Mossos family of Beverly Hills and Giulia to the Blakes of North Carolina. Giulia had been going through the pressures of being an overachiever, so she was regularly attending therapy to help manage the pressure she was putting on herself. It was, at the least, something she felt embarrassed about and didn't tell anyone. Nobody outside her inner-circle of Mori, Shy, and Nikki and her family knew, but somehow, through a grapevine (aka Enzo blabbing to the wrong person), word got to Julian and he didn't take not knowing well and soon it spread like wildfire around school.
Giulia didn't take it well.
Actually, she had a rather terrible reaction with it.
Known as the "Taccone Terror Event" - TTE, some would call it, Giulia showed just how much like her mother she was. Natalia, in her day as a volleyball player, was known for her aggression within the net. And Giulia applied that same rage, the rage of a broken heart, to Julian's car. It was a nice car but after she was done with it, it was a nice and totaled car.
That was during the second week of May. By the third week, to avoid trial and worse charges than Giulia got, she was admitted to a mental health facility that was for the troubled youths of the Southern California area (mainly Beverly Hills kids). It was a top of the line resort and there Giulia got the help she needed. She was diagnosed with BPD and anxiety disorder, which was going to be her initial diagnosis before her episode.
Giulia spent nearly the entire summer in that place. Having so many weeks and days, night where the noise in her head were loud but then went quiet, it allowed her the benefit of being able to think. The medication they gave her helped numb some of the louder thoughts in her head, but the therapy (both one-on-one sessions and group) helped her. She was resistant for the first couple of weeks, but got a reality check that she needed to participate. What really helped, however, was her family frequently visiting. It was small because the doctors didn't want her to become overwhelmed (it was a trigger), so it was immediate family for the first week and a half of June. By the end of the month, she was able to have non-immediate family visitors, which meant Shy could visit. She was family but not immediate.
And that's what really started Giulia's true healing process. The doctors noticed that having three very specific visitors greately increased Giulia's willingness to go 100% into the process: Morrigan Montgomery, Shiloh Blake, and Nikki Vega.
And in these visits, whether it was as a group or just Nikki, Giulia found herself looking at one of her best friends differently. She started to notice things Nikki did in a different way. Found deeper meaning in it.
Even after she was given a bit of leeway in her "prison break" for a birthday gift (thank you, Doctor Park), Nikki couldn't help but notice Nikki more. They went to Santa Monica Pier and the entire day with Nikki and her girls was eye-opening.
To this day, Giulia hasn't been able to stop thinking about her best friend like how one might think of a lover. She hasn't confessed. She's too afraid of rejection. The last time she got rejected ended in catastrophe. Perhaps that's why she's fell into the hole of online streaming. She's changed names, but she has confessed what she has been feeling for Nikki to her subscribers. She's too afraid to even do it that it terrifies her. What if she doesn't feel the same? What if she likes someone else?
Anything could go wrong.

🎀 You wouldn't think it by looking at her, but Giulia has been reading up, watching, and consuming comic book media: she's got a few onibuses of The Civil War from Marvel, Crisis on Infinite Earth from DC, and just about every copy of Saga (from Image Comics). She's also currently halfway through the MCU and just watched Thor: Dark World (she hated it)

She secretly stopped taking them and has technically been off her meds for a day, which she's been hiding well and hasn't had anything that triggered her like the episode she had back in May. She's hoping to keep it that way.
