This has me craving to play Skyrim. Like, right now. Haha, I'll have a CS for you tomorrow. :3

I very much intend to make it so that you would want this more than Skyrim. c:
Regardless, looking forward to it. <3
For those who wanted to know how far magic really goes in this world (as far as I have written), check this out:

And for those who have been wondering what my faceless land looks like, here is a lovely (work in progress) map:

There are grasslands on the in-between that divides Pine Forest (South) Ravenfell and Oak Forest (North) Ravenfell.
The mountains in north-east Ravenfell are known for their misty and sombre appearance, with only three notable settlements nestled within. The rest of the mountains are mystery that border on disappearing travellers and explorers getting lost in the mists. Only the more foolhardy bandits make their encampments in the misty mountains.
The red circle indicates where Arthroyeaux is, but I imagine we might use the rest of Ravenfell in this Roleplay, so I'm working on this map all the way through. I'll update it here when I add more.

Another note, if you guys enjoy world building, this is a sort-of "open-source" Roleplay, so if you want to make a contribution, like ideas for names or fun-facts, pop me a message and we can have a nerdgasm chat!
Name:
Lamont DuFairre
Age:
19
Gender:
Male
Race:
Ravenfellan Breton

Weapons:
Lamont wields the DuFairre Rapier as his only weapon, which he keeps in a sheath of leather to hide the recognizable ornate blade that is decorated with inscriptions.
Equipment:
Lamont wears humble garments, which consists of a leather vest over a white cotton shirt, laced leather pants and boots.
Inventory:
Purse of gold and silver coins on his person, and in his horse's saddlebags he keeps hunting bow and arrows, cooking supplies, food rations, water, and medicines.

Appearance:
A young Ravenfellan man, Lamont has a light olive skin tone with a smooth complexion only dirtied by life in the countryside were baths are a pure luxury. He has a slight athletic build made up by years of farmwork and hunting, and also has little facial hair for his age. His hair colour is of a dark black tone, and his eyes are a hazelnut brown colour. He only bears a small scar on his arm from falling over on one of his hunts.

Background:
Heir to the DuFairre lineage, Lamont claims to be the legitimate and lost son of Vertreaux and Lindelle DuFairre.

Vertreaux had kept Lamont's birth a secret at the time his mother passed away after delivering her second and last son. Vertreaux thus sent Lamont away to be raised in a humble cottage far away from Arthroyeaux and it's complexities. With the servants who took the baby, he sent the DuFairre Rapier with him, to prove the son's birthright eventually. He made sure a replica was made so that everything went unnoticed by the nobles of court.

In the forests near Marceilles, Lamont was raised by the humble servants who wore the clothes of humble peasant farmers who were happily married. Lamont lived a quiet life, unknowing of his real father as the years went by.

Lamont mingled happily with the other peasant children in the village close-by. Lamont easily made friends, and attended school with the other children as soon as he was old enough.

Lamont later had visions of becoming a heroic chevalier, as he watched the local baron of the white and blue often ride by to patrol the countryside. Lamont would usually lean on the wooden fence to peer out and watch the shining knights ride off into the distance.

His foster parents learned of this, and called for a fencing trainer to attend to Lamont when he was 16. Lamont demonstrated an eager and foolhardy attitude in his learning, as well as bit of pure talent in wielding the rapier.

Some of the other boys in the village shared Lamont's enthusiasm for adventure, glory and renown, and would often have sparring sessions with him using pitiful sticks they found lying around. Every time, Lamont would demonstrate that he was the most able and skilled with wielding a one-handed weapon.

Two years had passed, and Lamont's fencing trainer finally acknowledged that he couldn't teach Lamont anymore, and that he was quite able and ready.

By that time, the news of the king's death had arrived, and the humble farmers realized what they had to do. They had sat down with Lamont that one night, and told him everything, about his birthright and his duty. It was a lot to take in, but Lamont was able to accept what was being put upon him. The servants passed on the DuFairre Rapier onto Lamont, and bowed before him.

Lamont had a purpose to fulfil, and he took his duty on more dutifully than an angel who purges evil. He confided in his closest friends, and they joined him in his 'quest' to reclaim the throne. After a few months of planning, gathering enough supplies and gaining the blessing of their parents, they set out as a party towards Arthroyeaux.
Personality:
Lamont is chivalrous and dedicated to helping those lesser than himself and others, being willing to take the fall for those around him. His parents often commented that he had the heart of a Chevalier. He is humble and modest, allowing others to speak and present their views before he speaks his own mind, and can make rational decisions. He is kind and caring to his friends, and honourable towards his enemies.

Job:
Prince
Skills:
Proficient at fencing with a rapier, Lamont can make swift and accurate cuts and stabs through the air, to the point where missing is almost only deliberate when he runs into lesser foes. He is able to disarm an enemy quickly, and move quickly around his foes. He is also capable of cooking his own meals and hunting with a bow and arrow, as well as riding a horse.
Traits:
Lamont is swift and precise with his rapier, able to take the right steps to not only evade an enemy but also disarm them at the same time. He is fairly agile
Magic:
None. Lamont doesn't demonstrate any magic potential.
Talent:
DuFairre Reversal - Lamont uses his graceful balance to turn the tide on an overbearing foe, letting the foe take the fall whilst drawing his blade through them. He can use this at anytime he holds a parry with an enemy.

Strengths:
Lamont's foolhardy and noble attitude towards any situation, he can maintain his cool in the face of stressful circumstances. Both his courageous and calm approaches inspire others around him.
Weaknesses:
Lamont's compassion for the poor and weak can not only lead him to being manipulated, but also can lead to him taking more injury for others than he should.

Theme:

Wahahaha! Character completed! <3 <3 <3

I'll let you tweak it then make my CS.Also yeah Shadowmancy was a gathering of a wierd type of Necromancy from a book I read, something from some other sources and I formed it to seem cohesive and fit into roleplays. This was something I typed up for a roleplay so yeah if it needs tweaked for your world do so.

Ah, I had no idea! I'm only familiar with it because Supremacy Kills had a Necro Character who had something similar. >w<
Regardless, I'll see what I can do and then post back here with what I get! :3

Also Andre, not going to lie, I think this would be amazing to do on roll20. I really do,

I have considered at points to make a kind-of tabletop RP in Eyreseum, but that requires effort and I'm split up enough as it is. @_@
I see what you're getting at though, and I do agree. XD

Also: So does this mean you're joining us here though? =D
