His sanity frays as time passes, his personality only held together by discipline and will without which he would have long since been a madman.

Though still a firm believer in honour, truth, justice and good the many experiences of the man have lended him some behaviours atypical for a Paladin. He is ever so slightly cynical and skeptical of almost all things he comes across. He is fearful of developing new relationships as simple as becoming friends with a comrade for fear he will once more lose that which he cherishes. Though a good person and speaker when needed he has become somewhat unsociable, keeping his inputs to himself unless truly necessary.

• Chainmail: The layer on top of the gambeson, this piece is far more protective though not the penultimate of the Paladin's protection.
• Full plate: From boots to a helmet, this will reliably stop arrows and blades, with luck even stopping bludgeonings and firearms.

• Ammunition: Pistols can't fire if dirty or lack cartridges, thus an abundance is carried.
• Water: One smaller waterskin alongside a much larger one.
• Travelling Bread: With bits of cheese, meat, and other things baked in for nutrition.
• Stationery: Never know when you'll have to write something.
• Rope: Never know when you'll have to tie something too, eh?

History

Childhood: In his development years the Paladin was raised to have an appreciation for the post-natural be it arcane or divine, and was instilled with base values like respect, order, selflessness, faith, kindness, and similar things. He worked in his Father's small merchant company which gave him much interest in sailing, but ultimately he found more in common with the Marines and Chaplains than Sailors and Captains. It was from here that his path into the Silver Hand began.
Adulthood: Though still a youngster by the life spans of knife ears he is a travelled, battered person. His adult life was uneventful until after joining the Knights of the Silver Hand. Upon becoming a Knight he served with the Kul'Tiras Marines before going to the mainland in pursuit of Holy deeds. He met his wife in Lordaeron and began a family, but this lull would not be for long.

The Paladin did the ordinary good works and fighting against the green skinned menace, until the arrival of the scourge. To this day he remembers vividly fighting under Arthas Menethil, even partaking in the razing of Strathholme. Though ultimately he partook in this to rescue his family that were present there, he still found justification for his actions impossible. In hopes of some atonement he at the last moment joined those who sailed to Kalimdor. There again he fought Orcs green and fel, only just swallowing his pride to eventually fight alongside them when ordered to.

Yet the tense cooperation was paled in contrast to when whilst serving under Duke Lionheart the humans were assaulted by strange elves and forest creatures. After so much blood of good men was shed and so much blood of the elves taken, the man again had to swallow much pride to fight alongside them, but once that was done he swiftly returned to Kul'Tiras.

There respite was not long, for Admiral Proudmore started a campaign against the Orcs and Fabios could do not but heed the call of duty. He fought and fought but despite his best efforts the betrayal by Jaina meant defeat was inevitable.

When it was revealed in the tally of those killed by the Orcs his wife was present, frustrations and furies flowed immeasurably. Seeing no more future in Kul'Tiras and Theramore the man went to the land he was born in, Gilneas.

His suffering could not be escaped however for the worgen curse came, afflicting folk left and right like a disease. Though he could help others in healing their injuries and fighting the beasts the man could not help himself, succumbing to the vile curse. He didn't know how much time passed until he was cured, but when he did the world was far more bleak. Many had died and once more the toll included his family and comrades. With nobody left in his life, he simply had to escape.

Special Moments: Moments of joy and pain are constantly interspersed in his memory and consciousness. The death of his wife to Orcs on the invasion of Kul'Tiras, or the discovery his son was killed by feral Worgen. His marriage and the birth of his son, his induction into the Silver Hand and the death of the heroic Admiral Proudmoore.
Current Events: Seeking refuge from his misery, the man came upon the Vortex and opens his eyes to a whole new setting.

@rivaan My idea was for a Paladin, but that said I only played Cata for a year and a hunter; all my Warcraft knowledge comes from voraciously playing through the first three Warcraft RTS games bi-annually and reading whatever short stories and comics are free on the WoW website. Thus for spells, is it fine if I just kit him out with the WC3 Paladin set of spells?

Beyond that, my char idea was for a guy who's family is from Gilneas but a Kul'Tiran father, he would have experienced the WC3 events fighting with the Kul'Tirans Marines for the Silver Hand in general until the point in time Admiral Daelin (who did nothing wrong) was killed. Then he would have returned to Gilneas where he would presumably become a Worgen.
