-SPACEWALK CAPABLE SYSTEM-
Weapons: Rail Bulkhead Auger: An energy-kinetic hybrid, this two-stage railgun system, utilizes a second ignition phase with a plasma-tipped lance to pierce any armor and hulls so that the original projectile may penetrate further.
"Riptide" Ballistic Harpoon: A specialized railgun that fires barbed projectiles. If the target is not outright destroyed by the impact of the high-velocity rod, they are pinned to whatever object or terrain they may be nearby.
Equipment: C.A.E.W. SYSTEM UPGRADE SUITE I-IIIThis system upgrade adds auxiliary INSTINCT systems that are capable of autonomous operation independent of the base INSTINCT rig, increasing the efficacy of systemic invasion attempts. These invasion packages can have a wide variety of adverse effects on targeted mech units. These abilities include:
-PUPPET SYSTEM-
Enemy vehicle or mech is temporarily forced to move into any specific position
-SHACKLED-
Enemy vehicles and mechs primary locomotion and movement functions are temporarily frozen
-CORE EJECT-
If an enemy vehicle utilizes ejectable power cores, they are forcibly ejected
-FALSE IDOL-
Enemy mech's sensors are hacked, displaying false IFF tags and enemy position data
-IDEAL IMAGE-
Enemy mech's sensors are hacked. Whenever they attempt to target an ally or the pilot, their targeting and visual feedback are scrambled temporarily.
-GOLIATH ENCOUNTER-
Rapidly increases the target's RCS and sensory profile to cause any missile system to harmlessly detonate further away from the target.
-BITE THE HAND-
Improved Counter EW system that backtracks incoming electronic attacks and scans to their owners, potentially revealing their system information and current position
-THE EYE IN THE SUN-
Triangulating and correlating allied sensor data, advanced algorithms analyze data to provide updated battle positions of all friends and foes alike, making it more difficult for enemy targets to conceal their positions once engaged with allies.
Bloodhound MK3.3 Sniffer Packet This system turns their target’s strength against them with an easy-to-integrate ‘sticky’ firewall that IDs and tags incoming sensor probes. Installation includes mandatory after-action reports to collate tagged individuals. This provides excellent guidance for allied tracking and targeting systems, allowing for more accurate fire.
FCS TACNET RelayProvides an advanced tactical network node for squad leaders, forward reconnaissance units, and electronic systems operation specialists with a dedicated expert system designed to simultaneously collate input from multiple targeting feeds and deliver enhanced, predictive-modeled firing solutions.
Skip DriveDespite their name, skip drives are actually a heavily modified and stripped-down nearlight gravitic compensation module, not an engine. Normally employed to counter the g-forces of nearlight acceleration, when applied at a smaller scale the point gravity well they generate can accelerate targets at a considerable fraction of the speed of light, while still applying a compensatory force to prevent pilot injury. This system thus can accelerate the mech or an ally to a nearby space at incredible speed, quickly redeploying the unit. However, due to the high power demand and stress inflicted on the chassis, this is more of an emergency measure.
Active Protection SystemDeveloped as a compact version of an active threat defense screen commonly employed as a fixed emplacement system, this deployable ADS utilizes a comprehensive scanner array to continually monitor local space for incoming ballistic threats. Once locked on, a network of independently tracking gimbal-mounted turrets engage low-velocity projectiles entering the kill envelope with a combination of anti-sensor pulse laser jamming and hard-target interception via counter-ballistic burst launchers. A system stop gap to help prevent the shields from being overwhelmed by high-volume attacks.
Type-3 Projected ShieldThe shield emitter plates on this chassis help provide an extra layer of protection against ballistic and low-intensity energy threats. While not as robust as other designs, this shield when combined with the ADS allows for excellent defense against most low-mid threat weapons.
Other info:
There is a notable lack of personalization on this mech. Otherwise, the Pharos chassis, while planetside capable, is at home in the vacuum of space, intended to support boarding actions and internship warfare. As such, it features fairly durable armor to withstand much of the battlefield debris and provide an extra layer of protection for the pilot should all else fail. Kettu modified this design into an EW monster, so despite no outward customizations, the inclusion of a custom C.A.E.W. system on a Pharos is highly unconventional.
