I havent seen the new Avatar.

First one was pretty and I enjoyed it but it had a very predictable cookie cutter plot.

Main Guy Colonizer meets natives. Native girl saves main guy colonizer from his own stupidity. Main Guy Colonizer falls for native girl. Main Guy Colonizer gradually grows to understand and identify with native tribe and girl. More colonizers come. They're all total dicks. They want to kill all the natives or steal all their shit or turn their sacred lands into a Super Wal-Mart. Also they're obnoxiously racist. MGC sides with the natives once he sees how cartoonishly evil the other colonizers are. The End.

But the visuals were gorgeous and the alien design was cool. Cool animal designs. Good effects. And Zoe Saldana. Goddam Zoe Saldana. I don't care what kinda alien she is in what movie, that there Zoe Saldana. Goddam.

I hope Way of Water is less predictable, I'm not too optimistic having heard about the return of Evil Racist Scar Face General Man. You remember him. The guy with a scar on his face who was evil and racist and in the military.

No CS ready, about to go have dinner with some friends, but I'd like to express interest in Wolverine.

General Concept:

Logan has always been a warrior. Always been in the mix. One war after another. Pretty much all he knows. And he's damn good at what he does, but what he does it isn't very nice. Maybe it's time for the old dog to learn a few new tricks.

Share his wisdom. Stick around with one team for a bit instead of jumping from team to team. Running from one fight to the next. Or just fucking off to New York, or New Mexico or Alberta or Cuba or Madripoor. Just one wilderness or another.

Out of curiosity, what's your approach right now with Captain America?

I'm a bit of a Capt fan and had a great time RPing him in TGM's 1968 Thread so when I saw this I immediately though "Ooooh another chance to have fun with that" but it looks like he's likely either the main character or an NPC, sort of like how Nick Fury was in the MCU.

Am I way off?

Can you tell me anything about the themes or tone you're planning on.

Like you mentioned Spidey and Street Level so is it primarily Street Level and Light Hearted?

I tend to write try hard "gritty" "dark" characters in superhero RPs. I'm thinking of trying Captain A, Wolverine, or an alt version of Bushwacker...but they're all kind of dark and the last is bordering on a villain.

Like from a range of Daredevil to Sentry to Puck, street level to Superman level to goofy.

I saw references to Dwarf/Elven Gods, a Silver Elf ruler, and Gods worshipped by Dark Elves and Orcs so...

Maybe Human Silver Elf/ Dwarf / Elf / Dark Elf / Orc?

What about Gnomes, Kobolds, Ratmen, Catmen, or everyone's favorite Halflings?

I've got a few ideas I'm trying to pick between. Standard Halfling smart-ass, standard big tough Orc dumb-ass, or maybe haughty human Andred general-purpose-ass
