Just a small, fragile birdboy with a huge beak. I used to be Manapool, but we don't talk about those days. I have been here a while if you couldn't tell.
In all honesty, I am 23 and in a committed relationship outside of roleplay. I work as a cook who works nights. I'm a big fan of seeing people's food they make and learning about new foods if you ever want to share. I enjoy tabletop games, card games, and video games as well as reading comics in my spare time. Your typical nerd, you might even find me at conventions!
Most of the time I stick to Superhero groups and Play by post D&D here. I have admittedly begun taking far fewer rps. I prefer Fantasy and Superheroes as a genre but can find myself interested in Sci-fi settings too! My main fandoms are Fallout, Marvel, and Souleater but I have a lot of niche interests like Hylics, Neopets, and Monster High. If you have a strange fandom you want to rp? I am the kind to at least take a look at the source material!
These days I am closer to a low to mid Casual roleplayer. I want at least a paragraph from replies and don't mind dipping lower than casual if it fits the flow better. I am capable of writing decent long posts but expect me to take eons to reply. I also must warn you that I tend to lose a lot of steam in the winter months.

Hey! Widry is smaller, I think a bonus to strength in a halfling is pretty comical honestly. They are too fragile!

Blossom Hill High is the pinnacle school in all of Japan America if you can ignore its strangeness. They are known for having unrealistically immaculate facilities and bizarre yet effective teachers to bolster any learning that could be had. Many famous athletes, scientists, artists, and anime protagonists have all been alumni of this prestigious school. Those with unique abilities seemed to be drawn to these classrooms, and behind the illusion of a typical school is a sanctum for honing the skills of the strange residence of the school.
Today marks the first day for many freshmen as they traverse the halls of this bizarre hellscape for the first day of school. Unbeknownst to them, there is a hazing ritual the students like to participate in every year. Freshmen are 'shown the ropes' as upperclassmen pick fights and test the fresh meat. Many are looking for new blood for their clubs, which wage war in the classrooms after school for territory. Others are just bullies who like to battle.
While other students get off the bus to be greeted by fist, kunai, and many more dangerous encounters, you're late! Your alarm screams you away from your slumber. You hastily toss on your clothes and grab a piece of toast before booking it for school! Adventure awaits!

This concept is strange, but I have always wanted to try it here. This is heavily inspired by the 'fanime' genre. Good examples would be: Girl Chan in Paradise, Sugoi Quest for Kokoro, Sparkle on Raven: The Story of Drillgirl, and Punch Punch Forever to name a few examples. I am looking for a zany, light-hearted, and tropey game.
Mechanically we will be using the Fate Core system, though be warned that I am new to this system itself. I am willing to help people create characters and guide people on how to use the system. Do not expect a lot of 'leveling up' or boost in power, the game is meant to play fairly stagnant iturningng new abilities, at least at first.

Jeremy was groggy, not used to staying up so late. Still, the cool breeze of the air as they soared by was enough to sober him. The frigid night air caused him to shiver as he looked on, squinting to see the forms of a small group of costumed villains. The costumes never made much sense, and Jeremy was more than happy he had a jacket on. As they neared the building, Jeremy dug his hands into the jacket, pulling free two of his gaseous bombs. This high up, out in the open, his mist form would be simply blown away. Luckily he had substitutes. As the group jumped free to land, he tossed both of his gas bombs down, and a dark purple mist clouded the area. Hopefully enough to blind the foes from Zen who began laying suppressive fire down.
As the bombs flew from his hands, Jeremy moved to pull his baseball bat from the awkward back-sheath he had been given after his training. Jeremy had been trained to fight better with his weapons, but as he sized up the crew in front of him he worried he was in over his head. Hopefully Zen and Monolith would do the heavy lifting. If not, surely Animal man could carry. Jeremy for certain was just another goon in this fight and he hesitated from charging in, instead opting to stand back and wait for the others to rush forward.
