Klara wasn't too sure what all was really going on, or why certain the elevator seemed to be having problems. Dalisy seemed to have been making a fool of herself almost, as she first fell onto Astrid when trying to pry open the hatch, and then proceeded to get the hatch open, before she fell to the ground again. Arnora had handed her her axe, but seeing the hatch open made her instantly think about climbing up to see what was going on there first. So she handed the axe right back, "I'll see about trying to get up the hatch and have a look around, you guys can try the door if you want to."

After saying that, Klara went to try and climb up into the elevator shaft, managing to pull herself up so that now she was in the shaft itself. She glanced around the area, before looking straight up and seeing a pair of yellow eyes staring right back at her, and she instantly reached for her sword. "...Guys, you might want to stay in the elevator and try the door..." she said softly down to them, trying really hard to not make any sudden movements as she slowly drew her sword out of its sheath, keeping her eyes on whatever it was that was above her.

Flynn sort of just shrugged a bit in response to Oliver's suggestion. Truthfully they were drawing attention to themselves no matter what they were doing, and so the idea of literally just holding hands and hoping that Oliver didn't screw things up and lead them through the scanners was probably not the strangest thing that they could be doing. Actually them literally standing there and doing nothing or messing with the scanners probably was something that likely would cause there to be more problems for them, so hopefully they could just move past this.

Of course, then Oliver ended up more or less stuck in his sort of phasing form, which meant that he probably would draw way more attention, well this was going swell. After a few moments, Oliver seemed to more or less get a handle on it, hopefully at least. "Just be careful about it," he commented with a bit of a shrug to Oliver. Of course, he was someone who for a while would randomly burst into flames which is why he more or less had clothes that were designed to be as fireproof as possible so that it didn't happen. When he saw that the train was there, he followed after the others and stepped on board of it.

"Uh, okay Niah, if you think that it is important we can talk about it in a little bit... Still not sure what Novi has to do with anything though," she commented to her with a shrug as Oliver came up with a plan to more or less get everyone else through. Sparky wasn't too sure what sort of data that the scanners tracked aside from probably hooking into a criminal database or something, and probably being able to tell if someone was a mutant or not. That was all she could guess at this point, though Oliver not being able to become solid was beyond a bit strange, but he seemed to have a handle on it, for now.

She stuck close to Raynor though as everything started to move along and walked onto the train near him, waiting for the others to more or less all get on board at this point. "...Are you okay Ray?" she asked him softly, figuring that he probably wasn't and likely wouldn't really want to talk about it out loud with everyone else around. She didn't know what he had done or anything like that, but she didn't really care, since everyone deserved another chance, so if it was bad, it seemed like for the most part he had been trying to make up for it. At least for as long as she had known him.

She really didn't want to get up off of the ground. It was so comfortable, and she was a little tired at this point, not to mention the major electrical attack she had been hit with initially with regards to Cadena and her whip made of electricity. Zari glanced up at Andy and nodded her head slightly, "Yeah, I can... Just give me a moment okay?" she said rather calmly. One thing stuck out to her, and that was that out of her, Andy, and the other kids from the Akademos, she seemed to be the one with the most actual combat experience. The perks clearly of growing up in a place where people tended to fight a lot to solve all of their problems and disagreements really.

Zari snapped up to a sitting position though when she heard the words of someone else coming nearby and attacking them. Jumping to her feet, she picked up her sword just in time to see the newbie attacking the group of students. "Andy, I can take a bit more of a beating, so don't worry about it, get them out of here, okay?" she said to her, nodding her head towards the group that had just gotten attacked, before racing towards the person and swinging her sword at her, "That would be me," she commented, as her sword went right through the cloud of smoke person. Thinking a bit, she decided to change up her strategy, and instantly started whirling her sword around in a big circle, creating a gust of wind that caused the smoke person to start wavering, so it clearly was doing something, just not too much. Now she was wishing that she had super speed or something.

Jack wasn't too sure what to make of everything, especially considering his very uncomfortable experience as little more than a puddle. At least they had some breathing room, for the moment anyway, as everyone else was more or less dealt with as Veil took out the last one. The building was a bit unstable though currently, and them staying on top of the building was likely not a good option. It had taken more than a bit of a beating during all of the chaos. When Kris more or less offered to fly him to the ground, he sort of shrugged, alright, that would get them to the ground quickly right?

He regretted this decision the instant they were off the rooftop.

Instead of Kris flying them along, they plummeted instantly, and to say that he was more or less really glad to essentially be made of rubber as he escaped the fall unscathed. Of course, unfortunately Kristina didn't exactly have that luxury and ended up getting hurt a bit. "...You also do realize I am literally a foot taller than you right? So not sure how much you expected me to weigh," he said to her with an eye roll as he got up off of the ground, dusting himself off. "Though not sure if falling to my death would be a fun way to die," he mused a bit.

The thing with the entire situation, was that Miranda had more or less grown up knowing how to craft illusions, that's more or less how her powers worked after all, she essentially was in a way an illusionist. So she knew that voices she was hearing weren't real. Her mind wasn't exactly paying much attention to what Magneto was doing, as she started trying to focus on actually getting her mind to clear, breaking out of whatever it was that was going on. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to, the best that she got to was causing the voices to fade a little bit, which wasn't much.

"Alright new plan... Let's play along with this and see where it goes..." she muttered to herself, as she headed towards the rubble, walking over and looking into any sort of opening in the rubble that she might be able to find. Eventually, she saw her children down below, though they looked to be trapped and both of their legs were broken. "Are you alright? How did you even get here?" she asked them, even though a part of her knew for certain that all of this wasn't real, but a small part of her brain did believe in it.

Bifrost Bridge
"But you don't know that it isn't. Since even though I'm not a magic user, I do know that if you mess with a spell, it might not work fully as intended," Sif commented softly. Of course this did make her a bit more concerned about something, "And if that isn't Klara, where is she and who is that? And why would they have helped you all at all?" she added.

"Are you guys coming or nooooooooooooot?" Klara called back to them. They were heading into the city, and were getting ever closer to the palace that they were aiming for that was in the center of Asgard.

"We have no proof aside from that spell that you just did to be able to see if it actually is Klara... And without that, how do you propose potentially proving it to anyone else? Klara is a magic user herself, so she does typically try to use a few potential defenses that are useful. Especially since she is, well, a bit of a minor trickster god. Knowing how to cloak oneself from tracking spells without too much thought was one of the first things she learned how to do... And that being a skill that she learned from Loki. She typically tries to remain hidden, so she can sneak up on unsuspecting people without them being able to catch her" she continued, saying the last sentence with a shake of her head. "The best we can do is keep an eye on her... Since that still might be her... I don't know, she's seemed a bit different since returning to Asgard after the whole Loki incident on Midgard not too long ago... So it might just be because of that..."

"Anyway, we're fairly close to the palace, should be there soon!"

"We might wish to catch up to them. All we really can do is keep an eye on her, we have no proof that she's someone else, and we have no idea who she could be if she's not Klara. It might, as I said, be her subconsciously tricking the magic of others to be unable to track her, that might be what messed with the spell..."

The Falls
Mary had to stop herself from giggling at Runa's interactions with the teddy bears. It was funny in her mind, watching an Asgardian fear, of all things, teddy bears, or at least hate them enough to try and destroy them. Watching her throw the last one was beyond amusing to her, so now they weren't having to deal with the bears anymore, which was nice. Since it meant that they might be able to move on and actually do something useful in figuring out what all is going on. A few questions popped into her mind though with regards to where they were heading.

"So Runa... We're heading towards your father's halls and all... So what exactly is the area like anyway? Since I can vaguely see it in the distance through all of this fog, and I know we're by your mother's flowers and such, but you haven't really mentioned much about what it is like inside or anything... We also only know that the streak of light came from near it, not necessarily from inside of it... Just wanting to know a little bit about your home and all, since we're so close to it and all..." she asked Runa, figuring to try and distract her a little bit from the chaos that seemed to be occurring. Plus Mary was somewhat curious about the place.

The Palace
The two remaining wolves were not happy that the other three were taken down so easily, and went into a bit of a frenzy lashing out at just about everyone with an attack in one way or another. The one that had initially attacked Pietro lashed out at him once again, slashing him with his claws yet again barely, Pietro just missing dodging out of the way, before turning his attention to Guin, managing to give her a decent gash across her left arm that was starting to bleed. The one by Lance slashed at him again, this time managing to gash his shoulder fairly badly. It turned to Annie, and didn't manage to scratch her, only managing to knock her to the ground bruising her a bit so she was only a bit sore.

Guina are you okay? Pietro asked her mentally, panicking a bit now.

Lance was seriously hurting now from the attacks, and he was really trying to keep it together. Since he really didn't want to potentially explain to Odin what happened to the throne room if it got more destroyed by him than by the werewolves (since that one at least would be a simple explanation that hopefully Frigga would help with). He sent a blast of light slamming into the one by Annie, though it would be obvious that he was starting to have a hard time, as instead of the bright white/yellow color of the light, it seemed to have a slight greenish tint to it currently. "...I hate these things..." Lance grumbled.

Pietro instantly went to the one that had attacked both him and Guin, he instantly was behind it, and before the wolf could turn around to strike back at him or react, the speedster had already phased his hand into the creature's chest, and yanked his hand back out. The wolf dropped to the ground as its heart was in Pietro's hand now. It had happened so quickly, you actually could see the heart beat one last time, before it fully went limp in his hand, and he dropped it to the ground. He took a few deep breaths, before stopping to actually think about what happened or what he just did, and he was now oddly quiet.

The last wolf was now the only one standing, and it seemed like it realized that now. It got up from where Lance had managed to knock him around, burns and spots of fur singed from where he got blasted by Lance, and it slowly started backing away. It clearly was still prepared to fight, and was growling at all of them, ready to pounce at a moments notice, that much was obvious.

Outside of New York City

It was clear that he had expected the question of a potential extraction plan and how to get them out with regards to that. Alex let out a bit of a sigh, leaning up against a table, "...Currently there isn't really a plan in place to get you all out. But from what I've heard, some people are trying to get authorized a few supposedly "fool proof" plans which... Well... Aren't exactly going to end well let's just say..."

"So... Basically we're on our own and hope for the best then? Sounds like fun. Though why do I get the feeling that those fool proof plans that people are wanting to do involve something that probably isn't going to work based on what you were just now saying."

"Yup, it won't work no matter what they might think. People are scared of what could happen if Magneto decides to leave New York, what might happen to the world if he decides to attack with that virus again. So of course they are going to try just about every measure that they can to prevent that. Problem is most of people like that are the ones far away from the situation off in Congress or the White House and think well... That anything that would work on a normal person would work against him."

Thalia got a slight glint in her eye, as if she was seeing something else, "They do realize that if they try nuking the city odds are that he'll just send the bombs flying straight back at the people who launched them and a hell of a lot more people are going to die."

"Which is why this mission is so important. Because we have one shot at this before they decide to launch an attack that likely will be the end of the world. We are working on a time limit, and need that info so we can launch one more strike before that, and from what I've gathered, we have two days tops before they launch that strike. Which means that we need to hurry, luckily we already have the entire force that we'll be using in the last potential attack already, we just need to know where to attack or where we're aiming for."

"Oh a time limit, this sounds like the best thing ever in the wooooooorld," she commented with a bit of an eye roll. Though to her time was a bit up for debate. Her powers sometimes were a bit wonky with how they worked, she could manipulate time on a small scale, not fully travel through it, but she could freeze it at times and knew vaguely how to rewind it, but it wasn't exactly easy. She tried to avoid that whenever possible, preferring to use her wings or something of her powers, though if she had her way, Thalia wouldn't even use her powers at all. "Well, since we are so pressed for time, we might want to get a move on then right?"

"Most likely, one more thing," he said, before handing each of them a small list of people with a few pictures included, "That's a list of known associates of Magneto who are likely in the city and to keep an eye out for while there. Since this is just recon, do not engage unless you absolutely have to since that will just take up the time that we do not have. The much smaller list is for the heroes who likely might be stuck still in the city to keep an eye out for, and both lists include what their abilities are."

"Fun."

"Do any of you have any other questions? Now is your time to really ask anything."

New York City

Mary was still relatively silent as she lead the way through the sewers, before eventually, she'd stop and climbed up a ladder, popping the manhole cover slightly to make sure no one else was around, before climbing up and out, they ended up popping out in an alleyway just a block away. As the others would eventually climb out of the underground tunnels, the ground would shake and there would be the sound of another explosion not too far away. Anyone looking at the street would instantly be able to see bits of rubble flying down the street and bouncing around. "Well that isn't great now is it?" Mary commented with a shrug, walking forward now, peering around the corner down the street.

There was a building that looked like it got reduced to rubble very recently. There were a group of 7 standing in the street, staring at a building next door to the new pile of rubble. One was a man in a long red cloak that covered most of his face, as he was standing off to the back of the group, another was a woman with a bit of a grin who looked part cat. The others included one who seemed to be part of the muscle in the group, one with strange claws for hands that had some weird electric field around them, and then two much more familiar faces; Avalanche (who likely caused the building to crumble), and Boom Boom (who likely was the one causing the explosions).

"Come on out and play, we don't bite, it'll be fun!" Boom Boom called out in a bit of a sing song voice, laughing a little bit as Avalanche made the ground shake once again.

"Soooooooo... What's the plan exactly?" Pietro asked, glancing around the corner.

"We need to at the least distract them until those stuck in the building can escape... And one or two people might want to be there to guide the group out a back way and defend them if the fighting ends up going inside..."

"...I tend to use my powers more defensively... So someone else can join me in getting them out or trying to protect them or something..." Lance suggested somewhat softly, he didn't really care who tagged along with him, but he wasn't too much of a fighter unless he had to be, preferring to use his powers to heal or potentially to create shields, that's about as far as he tends to go, since blasting things isn't exactly something he wanted to do.

"Well, they don't seem to notice that we're here yet... Which means we probably should get out of this alleyway and just address them head on..." Mary muttered, Pietro rolled his eyes slightly at that comment. Before in a gust of wind the speedster was no longer next to the rest of them, clearly more than a bit bored.

"Yo Avalanche, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Pietro called out, kind of taunting him a bit with a bit of a smirk.

"Well look who it is, Quicksilver has decided to join in the fun huh?" Avalanche said with a laugh. Pietro rolled his eyes, before zipping forward and slamming into Avalanche, throwing him backwards away from the others.

"Well that's no fun!" Boom Boom complained, before sending some bombs flying directly at Pietro, but he zipped away slightly to avoid them.

"Alright, whoever is going to go with Lance to try and get the group trapped out, go now. The rest of us should help out the speedster who decided to go racing in before he gets himself seriously hurt or killed," Mary said to the group, before taking off out of the alleyway herself. Vines started to pop up along the broken and cracked city streets and charged directly at the man in the robes. She recognized him as a former Morlock by the name of Masque whose powers were mainly useful if you kept him at a long range. The vines slammed into him, managing to cause him to stumble backwards.

"Alright, who wants to tag along with me?" Lance asked.

Boom Boom was clearly getting annoyed with the interruptions, and figured there might be others nearby, "Alright, who else wants to join the party?" she yelled out, more of her explosives appearing in her hands.

Klara was fairly silent as the elevator started to go upwards to the floor that they were after, floor 100, when the elevator suddenly jolted to a stop in between floor 99 and 100, which was not a good thing. Much like Arnora, she wondered how common an elevator breaking down was, since the modern elevator was definitely newer than what they used to have operating in the hotel, so she wasn't too sure how well they worked. The answers that were given with response to that question weren't exactly too helpful, or great really, considering how things were going for them.

"Well, before what we have now we had something fairly similar. These are modern elevators, but as far as I know, this sort of thing have been used as far as I can remember. They just were powered by people or animals or something as opposed to electricity. But they were fairly similar, and good thing too, not sure how many people would be fine using stairs for all eternity or whatever," she commented with a shrug. Her attention was drawn away rather quickly by Runa, who seemed to be panicking. "It'll be alright Runa..." she said rather softly to her.

She was still not entirely on board with this entire plan, it was still a bit on the suicidal side, that much was obvious in her mind, though of course, there wasn't any other plan that existed apparently. Rosalia wasn't one to come up with plans that involved more than herself, or that involved breaking people free from some other people. Yeah, she wasn't too sure how this was going to work out in the end. Actually, she was fairly certain she'd likely be more of a liability in this sort of thing than actually helpful, since she wasn't a fighter, at all, and it was pretty obvious that she wasn't.

Her attention was pulled away from her thoughts as the others started heading off, and Merlin suddenly asked her if she was alright. Hearing the question, she laughed a bit at it. "Oh I'm doing just great. You know, finding the family who more or less just left me by myself and in a world where I very much had no one else for my entire life. Also continuously being told that my life up until this point was partially a lie considering the fact that I'm from this world and not the world I thought I was from. Oh, and we're going to go off and do something that I basically can't do at all, since if it wasn't obvious, I am not a fighter. I am a thief, I hide, avoid confrontations, try and sneak my way into areas, and runaway from fights that start up. But oh no, I'm doing perfectly fine other than all of that," she responded rather quietly so that only he really could hear her little rant.

Well, that was definitely a bit concerning hearing what specifically Gretel had to say about the guards and all, and how they were more or less corrupt. Then again, in the real world (also known as not this one) cops could become fairly corrupt, actually it was a little surprising just how easy that sort of thing was. Personally, he hated people like that who could easily be bought, and he couldn't be, hence why he actually tried to do the job that he had without any of that sort of stuff. It was just the type of person that he was, and he didn't care for those like that at all.

His attention was drawn back out of his own thoughts to what actually was going on around them as they eventually caught back up with where Sierra and all were at, and he heard Meg ask what sort of stuff they'd be offloading those ships, and his attention turned to look at the boats that were seemingly moving cargo about. The flag stood out to him, which meant that the group over there were a bunch of pirates, and he shrugged his shoulders slightly at Meg's question, "If I had to guess whatever it is probably isn't good," he said with a bit of an eye roll.

Janelle Gauger

Janelle was starting to get a little bit bored just sitting around waiting to see what the prophecies were partially about. Now she was a little annoyed with herself for just not asking more about it earlier when she and Cassian had more or less been wandering around and encountered Chiron and Rosie earlier. Then she'd have more of a clue as to what all would be going on, at least maybe just a little bit. That would be nice now wouldn't it? Then again, all they were doing currently was just sitting around doing nothing.

Though a part of her did wish that she could see what was going on in the world around her. For instance, she was a bit curious as to what Zeke was up to, but she wasn't sure if they should talk or something now. Maybe after the prophecies were revealed she'd seek him out to go talk to him? It was a thought, something that she could go do afterwards. Or maybe she could go do that now? It was a thought, though she wasn't exactly saying anything to her brother now, staying relatively quiet waiting for something to happen really.

Aaaaaaand his sister was back to being quiet and mentally sticking around in her own little world, and he wondered what was going through her head now. It was near impossible to ever tell what was going through her mind, though he did glance back over to where Zeke was, figuring that she was probably thinking about him in some way, and when he saw him heading off with Demetri, he figured that she might want to know. "Tá do bhuachaill ag siúl amach le Demetri," he commented to her with a bit of a shrug.

"Ní hé mo bhuachaill é!" she protested in response.

Jason just laughed a bit at his sister with her protest. It was a bit obvious (at least to him) that she had a bit of a crush on the guy, and the fact that she was protesting and saying stuff to deny it just added fuel to the truth that was that. "Tuigeann tú go bhfuil sé níos soiléire gur mhaith leat an fear mar gheall ar do agóidíocht." he pointed out to her with a bit of a smirk to her, and she made a bit of a scowl which made him laugh even more at the entire thing.

Mary just gave Stella a smile in response to her comment about having a fear of fire. That sort of thing wasn't too uncommon she would think, sure it wasn't as common as a fear of heights or spiders or something like that, but it wasn't too bad she thought that way at least. Currently there wasn't all too much going on, with the Romans not really showing up anytime soon, that sort of just left them sitting around the fire sort of just waiting for the Romans, since the Romans got on her nerves for the most part (well, Leandra really).

"An Iris message would be pretty easy to do right now... Since otherwise we are literally just sitting around waiting for the Romans to all decide to show their faces finally. That is if you wanted to," she added to Stella, going along with what it was that Kristin had been saying about it. They were doing nothing, and personally, she was getting a little bit bored, so helping Stella to send off an Iris message would give her something to do in the meantime.

Everyone seemed to be having different thoughts or issues on the situation. Though Raynor essentially sitting there and having a bit of a mental breakdown over this situation was, interesting. The guy seemed to be freaking out more than a bit, and that was not exactly something that happened, that much he did know for sure. Of course, Bonnie questioning Raynor about what happened or what exactly he had done had caused his brain to go along that way too. "I'm in the camp of you telling us more about this place later, just not right now since sounds like we have a whole bunch of issues that kind of need addressing, like getting away from here."

Of course, he was really starting to wonder what his counterpart had done to end up on the same sort of wanted poster as Raynor. That was something interesting to think about, and it made him wonder what exactly Maria had done too. He wasn't going to bring this up though, at least not at the moment really. Everything about this world just sounded bad, and he wasn't exactly too thrilled about Bonnie being in this reality for the sole reason that everything was crazy, and people were talking about going through the scanner or whatever it was, but from what he gathered, him, Maria or Raynor going through would be a bad idea. So how exactly were they supposed to deal with that then?

Sparky wandered along to the subway, and seeing Raynor seemingly having a bit of a breakdown, she instantly went to standing right next to him. "Ray? Are you okay?" she asked him softly, a few others were more or less asking questions currently about things, but she figured that now was definitely not the time for that sort of thing. They had other things that they needed to worry about. "It'll be alright Ray, you'll see..." she added to him with a bit of a smile, before turning her attention towards Niah and her question about Novi.

"Of course I've talked to Novi recently, why would I not have?" she asked her, clearly confused by the question, before she turned her attention towards the scanners, and what Celestine was saying about how they might not have a choice but to go through the scanners if they wanted to get away. Not to mention they were starting to draw some attention. As soon as Oliver had mentioned another Stark, she shook her head, "I don't think we'll have much more luck trying to get past the system, that's just me. I'm not a hacker type, at least not really, so I'm not sure if it would be worth it. However, we are starting to draw a bit of a crowd, so I suggest that we might want to get moving..." Sparky said, before she stepped through the scanners and nothing happened still. "We need to get moving, since we might run into more trouble or something the longer we stand around..."

Zari wasn't sure how Andy was doing, as her attention was entirely focused on Cadena and her fight with her. She hardly noticed anyone else, that is... Until Aguja started saying something and seemed to start dying or disintegrating or whatever right in front of them. "...What the hell is going on?" she muttered, before her attention was dragged back by Cadena accusing her of being the one responsible. "Something tells me that you have no idea how my powers work, cause I sure as hell can't do that sort of thing." Of course, Cadena didn't believe a word that she said and proceeded to lash out and attack her anyway.

"Wow, so kind, I'm not primitive," she commented to Cadena, before she whirled around with her sword and stabbed Cadena right through the chest, mere inches from her heart. "To think you'll never learn the lesson of never underestimating your opponent," she added rather coldly, before yanking her sword out and slashing at Cadena again, striking her dead. Unfortunately, that released a large electrical discharge of energy that slammed into her, injuring her even more than she already was, and Zari collapsed to the ground, her body aching. She moved her hand over the severe electrical burns that blackened her skin along her neck for a moment, before flopping her hand onto the ground, "...I'm just going to lie here... Don't mind me."

He was definitely glad that Veil and Kris were alright from their falls, and he wasn't too sure who Aurora was, but was glad that she had shown up to help. Things were a bit chaotic, but at least the guy who had been chucking asteroids at them was dealt with (with a very resounding splat of a noise of course) so there wasn't anything actively being thrown at them. Tic Tac was a bit of a strange one, and he wasn't entirely sure how all his powers worked, aside from he more or less had turned the building into jelly. So he was a little confused when the guy pointed at him.

That's when everything went wrong.

The feeling at first was really painful, as he felt himself lose complete control over his body and powers, and eventually he seemed to fall into a puddle of sorts. After that initial burst of pain, everything went numb, but he was finding it fairly hard to breathe and he wasn't entirely sure what all was going on with the other two. This was an interesting way to potentially die, it just was super uncomfortable. Something must have happened though, as after a few moments he managed to find that he could reform and be back to himself, and he basically took a big gasp of breath, "Okay, that was the weirdest thing and also that made it really hard to breathe..." he commented, before going over to see what was going on with Tic Tac, and seeing the ground by him collapsing for the most part. He was definitely mad, and he instantly put his telepathy to good use, as he focused on Tic Tac, which resulted in him getting put in so much pain, that he ended up passing out. "I hate that guy..." he muttered.

"Erik, that doesn't always mean what you seem to think it means, we need to find her, okay? She could be seriously hurt..." she said softly, knowing that he seemed to at least be starting to show that he might actually somewhat care about her. Sometimes it was difficult to tell, even for her, and she's known him for decades. Of course, she suddenly was a bit confused when she heard what sounded like children screaming, coming from the rubble. It took a moment for her mind to potentially recognize the voices of the children, and it confused her to no end.

She knew that her own children were grown up by now... But those definitely were their voices coming from the rubble. Taking a few deep breaths, trying to calm down, she closed her eyes to try and focus on reality and not the children screaming like crazy. Unfortunately for her, whatever was messing with her head seemed to be stronger than her mind, as when she opened her eyes and listened to the chaos around her again, the screaming was still there. A small part of her instantly thought about how it could be real, that it really was her kids. But the more rational part of her brain pointed out otherwise, and that it was completely impossible, but she wasn't too sure what to do.
