She didn't really have time to fully explain what was going through her head with regards to that. They didn't fully get it, so she didn't say anything else to them at all. "Well that would be so simple, but think about it, we're kind of in a not so great place right now and doing that probably would end up with someone dying or something horrible to happen right now... I do seriously wish that was actually the case though and I could just do that..." she said to her father, fully ignoring everyone else around her again.

Janelle had been honest at least, she didn't want to be anyone's babysitter, and that had literally been what she had been doing up until that point. And Demetri basically wanting her to stay stuck in that role almost at that point and drag her along everywhere with some weird rope thing against her will, that didn't help at all. She heard Zeke speak to Nancy, and she wasn't sure how things were going for her, but currently it didn't seem all too good from what she could tell, but that was about it.

Jason nodded a bit when Damon spoke to the others mentioning that they were going to go sort of keep watch and patrol the area a bit. He wasn't entirely sure that they should be in the area that they were for very long, but there wasn't much else that could be done about it. At least not until the others sort of regrouped their thoughts a bit with regards to the entire situation and all that had happened. And it seemed like that might take a little bit at this rate.

Jason walked along with Damon as the guy decided to ask him where he was from. "My lettle sester and I are initially frahm Galway in Ireland. But after our parents died we ended up mahvin in wit our uncle in New Yahrk, dat was ahnly about 2 ahr 3 years ago," he said to him with a bit of a shrug. He wasn't entirely sure what else to say with regards to it. He was only really half paying attention to the entire situation and looking out for monsters more then anything still.

Mary nodded her head a bit with a slight laugh, "Yeah, it was more of because of the fact that apparently it had been a while since it ran into anyone so it was hungry. Which made it decide to break all of those rules that are in place. So that was fine, it worked out and the monster died. Apparently we were too good at solving riddles for it to handle." that was the easiest explanation of that whole thing, it didn't super surprise her really, which was kind of a sad thing.

"As for the people getting lost in the Labyrinth question well... That's a bit more complicated. Not sure how many people actually end up down there... But there aren't a lot of people who tend to get out of there so easily. Which is kind of a common sort of thing when you think about it. The Labyrinth stretches forever, across the world really, for instance we got in back in New York, and we ended up here on the west coast of the country... And people tend to die there and not exactly make it out because of all of the monsters there..."

So... Their fate was being put into the hands of one person in hopes that they made the right wish. Right, this was totally a bad idea, and that would be assuming the person was at least somewhat competent. But putting all of that faith into Matthew of all people and hope he was able to do something even remotely useful? They really should have discussed the wish and what to wish for before they got to this point. Which made the entire situation worse, since all had been discussed was to really free the genie as opposed to what the other two wishes would be.

"This totally is going to end well, at least it's better him then the other idiot I suppose," she commented, staying back as she waited to see what would happen. The wish that Matthew made seemed simple enough, but she wasn't sure if there was any sort of thing that would result in the wish getting twisted or not being super straight forward or anything like that. So all she could really do was wait and see what would happen with it.

He wasn't entirely sure what to do aside from send the bull racing around the area knocking people out. Unfortunately it didn't seem like that was going to last forever, as soon enough the bull looked at him before disappearing. Well that wasn't a good thing, though what else the staff could do was anyone's guess, or whether it was fully a good thing that it had summoned the bull. No time like the present to do some more sort of experimenting with it then right?

"Let's see if you can do anything else..." he muttered, before he tried using the staff again, except this time a random doll popped up out of nowhere and hit the ground. "Ok then... Was expecting something a bit more useful then that, come on do something useful..." His next attempt to actually use the staff resulted in nothing, which was a little better then causing more issues. His third attempt did something though, as a fireball shot off and resulted in taking out five of the soldiers. "...Guess that's better then nothing but I can already do that without the staff."

It sounded like people were going to see about heading into the haunted house. While Zelda herself liked a few scary things, usually that would be watching a movie or something by herself or at home or something where her powers couldn't necessarily mess with anything if she got too freaked out. Actually she loved horror games and things like that, but she had never really gone into an actual haunted house or maze or whatever. Since she figured that there would be the most common place that she might accidentally make people's fears pop up. Or her own. So potentially make it worse.

"I like scary things don't get me wrong, but not sure the haunted house would be a good place for me to go... My powers might go and make things worse..." she said with a shrug towards Diana. That was the problem with not being super good at controlling your powers, or emotions at times really. If they go haywire they could make things worse. Actually she likely could make a haunted house more fun, depending on who she was wandering around the place with.

"Yaaaaaaaay haunted house!" she said happily jumping up and down a little bit with regards to it. She loved scary things, or at least the attempts at scary things that people did. They always were a lot of fun to her, so she was definitely curious as to see what was inside of it. Her attention shifted to someone approaching them, and she vaguely recognized Mary Sue, more of because her mom was friends with her own. However when it came to actually meeting her that never really happened, she usually stuck around with Diana and Percy instead.

"Hi there!" she said with a slight wave, "I don't think we've ever actually met, though I know about you and all mainly cause of my mom," she said, giving Mary Sue a smile. "Nice to officially meet you though Mary Sue. As Andy said we were heading for the haunted house, your welcome to join us if you want to. But we should get going before the line to get in gets to be too long if you ask me."

"Why apologize? He hasn't actually done anything but mess things up for me royally. Well, him and that Max person both kind of did. So guess it takes two people to actually screw it up. But both of them did, so why should I be nice or anything like that towards them. Hence why Max deserved to be stabbed!" she said instantly, clearly not caring for the idea. And also a bit mad that Runa decided to chastise her over the whole situation when it was their own faults for what happened to her.

Her attention shifted towards Madalyne as she pulled the sword out to heal the injury. "Not like it hurt or anything, maybe that has to do with the whole soul getting swallowed by a monster while here or something huh? Kind of a cool side effect but that whole thing is still not a good thing and those two are partially responsible for the whole situation hence why I don't like them at all." she explained to her with a shrug, not super sure what else could possibly explained that sort of situation thing.

She wasn't entirely sure still about being around so many people right now, and she was kind of getting dragged along places at the moment, so she just sort of went along with it. Zelda didn't care to pay too much attention to who everyone was or gossip or anything like that with different people, so she had almost no real idea as to who they were wandering around with all too much right now. She kind of had been planning while at this whole dance thing to very much be a wallflower and not do anything aside from just sort of show up.

Hearing Kate (at least that's who she was pretty sure it was, she wasn't entirely certain) ask her name, and it took a moment for her brain to register what she had been asked. "Oh... Um... I'm Zelda..." she commented kind of quietly, not overly caring if anyone actually seemingly heard her. Currently she had no idea what she was going to do or wanted to do, aside from maybe try to avoid the really really big potential crowds or something like that.

Zari had to think for a moment on what to really potentially do. Sure there was a lot going on, but she honestly had no idea what to do first once they got through the entrance. There were so many things that they could do right now and they could run around to various areas. Who knew what sort of things that could happen. Of course she was just super excited to get started and find something to do no matter how chaotic it was going to be in this sort of area.

"I don't know what we should do. Soooooooo many people here. Oooh is that a haunted house thing? That looks cool! But also literally every other potential thing that we can do here is insane and I loooooove it! I don't care what we do," she said happily, giggling a bit. As long as they were doing something fun, Zari didn't care what sort of thing they did. This was definitely going to be a fun night!

Rosalia Rider

Location: Maleficent's Castle

She wasn't too surprised by the fact that Maleficent had more guards and such in the area who were deciding to attack them. Or that Maleficent herself was deciding to try and attack them. This was not going to work out, and the others were instantly sending out attacks at all of the guards. But that sort of thing wasn't exactly her style of fighting. No, she wasn't a ranged fighter, she did better when it came to hand to hand if it came down to it, though if she had her way, she'd basically never be in a fight like this one. The others were just using their weapons, while Rosalia decided to use her head a bit and try to think of a way to take out the most people in one swoop.

Looking around the area, she glanced up and saw a chandelier hanging above all of them, and following the rope holding it up, she saw where it was tied to the wall. This seemed a bit almost too perfect really and a bit of a cliche, but she instantly started moving towards it, figuring that most people wouldn't notice her moving around. One person did, but she ducked under his attack and managed to race for the rope, before using her knife and swinging, cutting the rope holding the chandelier. Sometimes before chaos happens, seems almost like people could perceive things in slow motion, and that's how it felt for her, as she watched the chandelier come crashing down on the remaining guards, who all were within range of the makeshift weapon. The sound of the chandelier hitting the ground, and the people it had hit, was a bit satisfying for her to say the least.

Jack was glad that everyone seemed to be still alive, and also thrilled that no one seemed to have question how he had ended up on the other side of the drawbridge in order to lower it. That would have been a bit more complicated to say the least. When Belle asked him if he was alright, he just sort of shrugged a bit. "I mean yeah, I'm alright," he answered, not entirely sure what else to say. Though now he had a cool staff with him that did random stuff, so that was always helpful.

Now though, he had to deal with the bull, and the chaos that was starting to spill into the area, both from their own forces and the new ones. Well, the bull could help deal with the chaos in theory right? So he tried to get the animal to go charging at them now. However it was being insanely stubborn, which he probably should have seen coming honestly. After a few minutes of trying, he did eventually get the creature to go charging into the area, managing to knock down some of the soldiers in the area. Not really injuring them or killing them, but it was better then nothing right?

Janelle Gauger

Janelle didn't even notice much of Zeke's response towards her at all, instead she paid slightly more attention towards the voice that popped up in her mind instead. The voice she knew belonged to her father, and she wondered what he was wanting. "...Not well..." she managed to mumble under her breath in response to Hypnos' question, not talking too loudly with regards to that. Since she had no clue where he was or where to really direct her attention to.

One thing was for certain though. She could not stand being basically dragged around while attached to literally anyone else here, especially not being by Demetri and playing babysitter to everyone around them. Plus, confining her movement was probably the worst thing you could do, considering feeling was the only true way she could perfectly interact with her surroundings, especially when the sounds were overwhelming her, so being dragged around without being able to tell for herself where she was made it incredibly difficult for her. "I am naht goin to be a babysetter fahr you idiots, and restraints o' any sahrt without actually givin me a choice is de dumbest posseble din you could do when I rely ahn feelin a movement to get around places!" she snapped out loud, before after a moment she managed to get herself out of the little rope or whatever it was that Demi had done to attach them all together, and she took a step away, focusing on orienting herself the right way as she instantly went back to using her cane without that in general. "I'm just gettin tired o' people right now," she then added keeping her voice down when adding to her conversation with Hypnos.

Jason Gauger

Jason wasn't sure how things were going to go with the conversation between Nancy and Niah, and he basically was just sort of waiting for them to get moving again. He knew it would seemingly be a little bit before the others felt like heading off places. Not thinking much of it, his attention was quickly shifted to the one person that he didn't seemingly recognize from the other group. Definitely was a new person, and he had walked up and introduced himself, so Jason figured he'd do the same.

"I'm Jason," he said with a shrug, still not mentally alright with introducing himself with the name of his godly parent. It was still insanely weird to him. Though the guy seemed to agree with the keeping an eye out while everyone else was sort of dealing with things, he nodded his head. "Yeah, figured dat would be de smart din," he added with a shrug in response.

Mary gave Stella a smile when she introduced her new puppy to her, as well as the adventures that they've been having to get to the West Coast. "Sounds like you have had your hands full in order to get here. Cyclops are always fun to potentially deal with, and I'm glad you made a new little friend to take with you," she said, adding the last part as she looked at the puppy. She had a cat of her own that was currently back at camp though.

Her question being asked back at her caused her to glance slightly over at Andy, before turning her attention back towards Stella. "Things are never easy with regards to that... You never get used to it, no matter how many times things like that happen..." she said to her, before shaking her head slightly. "Aside from that, well, there were a lot of monsters down in the Labyrinth... Encountered a Sphinx when we got in there, and despite solving the riddle it decided to try and kill us anyone. And found Damon, who had been with a group of campers a while back who had gone to try and map the place out... So at least that was a good thing that happened..."

Klara, Daughter of Thor

Klara sort of was bored now and starting to sort of poke a bit at the sword that was currently stabbed into her body, it definitely was interesting seeing oneself ran through like a kabob or something like that. "Well this is interesting to say the least..." she muttered, half paying attention to what was being said by Jack. The guy needed to know when to shut up, he seemed to just like to hear himself talk at this rate, and it was starting to really get on her nerves. He was a bit of an idiot from what she could tell.

"Can you just shut up? Honestly do you really just like to hear yourself talk? Maybe we should tape your mouth shut at this rate. Blah blah blah, that is all I hear. You seem to think you have all the answers and then you don't actually either do anything or only do something for you. Honestly this is kind of sad. So just shut it," she said towards Jack, clearly not having caught a word of what he had said. Though after her little outburst she seemed to just sort of be examining the blood and such coming from where she had gotten stabbed anyway, partially wondering the full extent of why it wasn't really hurting at the moment. Poking it every so often.

"Oh yeah no, I'm doing better, figured that was you who did some healing from a distance so thanks. Did not want to shift to fix anything at least not wanting to risk causing any accidents or whatever." Lance said with a bit of a shrug towards Ed when he asked how he was.

Mary was massively getting a bit of a headache with regards to the sort of arguing over various things at this point. Namely the confrontation between Guin and Robert. She personally wasn't sure how to feel with regards to Robert, aside from the fact that the guy seemed to think everyone in the area were children which was ridiculous to say the least. "Can you all stop arguing or trying to one up each other in options on what to do? Look, Guin is right, I may not be much of a chemist or anything like that, dealing more with genetics and that sort of thing, but I do know that the effects of chloroform is very different then the perception it has been given due to media of various types. We also don't have time to do something like that. But can say this, arguing isn't going to get us anywhere, and is just going to make me want to smack everyone on the head and I would prefer not to do that."

She fell silent for a moment, thinking, before continuing onwards, "The try and take him on all at once is our best bet with the time we've got. If we had the time to craft something to hold him or block his powers out at least temporarily, I'd be all for that. But we don't, so our options are very limited..."

"Yeah the potential tools and everything to even make the blockers that are just injectable would take a while to make, assuming you'd be able to even be able to get the necessary materials to make them, and making one of the other potential blockers would take like only a little bit shorter in time, but still would take a while," Lance interjected, paying attention to the conversation in front of them now.

"Exactly... Now Max, I think we might want to change that idea up a little bit but go with the basic concept, and Bethany, we'll save that one for a last resort... We have the firepower to easily knock him out from what I've been able to tell during the few interactions with him. And it doesn't matter if he's not next to you, he can use his powers from a bit of a distance, though not sure if it is limited to what he can see, seems like it though. If that's the case, Annie distracting at the beginning so we can get close makes sense, however then I'd suggest we try having Bethany or Lance blind him in some way with their own powers, as that would take that slight risk out of the equation entirely. As long as no one actually keeps contact with him for too long. Once he can't see in theory it should limit what he can do. Sure he'd potentially be able to shoot off his powers in random directions, but he would likely be slower in his attacks."

"Have to keep in mind, no matter what there always is the chance of everything in a plan going wrong, backups for backups are a good idea, at least in my experience." Flynn commented.

"That you are right, because if he gets his powers on one person the entire idea of the plan goes up in smoke. Though the power boost if it doesn't burn you out seems to be temporary, since after a while Perry stopped conjuring up ghosts everywhere, and I burned off the extra energy for me. So whoever gets hit, no matter who, we'll need to also potentially deal with the repercussions of that while continuing with the plan of knocking out Cortez so he can't do more damage. Which given how things are, might make it worth while to have two people at least for each part of the plan to deal with him, that's the main thing that I'd want to add to your idea Max, since we can't potentially just rely on a few people to do the majority, it is a team effort after all. That can make it so if one person gets overwhelmed, then another could potentially fill in that gap... Plus then we aren't relying on just a few people to carrying everything out too much."

"So if you get hit by the guy try to at least aim away from everyone else, got it. At least until it wears off."

"I feel like there are so many things that can go wrong with any of these ideas, but fighting and going in punching makes the most sense, currently anyway. I'm all for that option." Pietro added, looking at the others before adding mentally to Guin, Plus it is the plan most against what the one guy over there is saying, and I really don't like him at all.

"Well here's the thing, making illusions to distract and confuse, we have two people here who can do that. Both Miranda and Annie can do that, so if one fails we have another to fill the gap. We have two people who can potentially blind Cortez since that might be something useful to try and weaken him, Lance can with light, and Bethany in theory can do something similar with shadows. Heavy hitters wise, to actually knock him out or to deal with the effects of the others who potentially lose control of their powers. Lance, I know you wouldn't want to shift in this area given the way the space is, while large, not sure I'd want to fully risk it."

"Same here, hence why as I said to Ed, why I didn't shift before. Basically the idea is currently that it is a last resort. At least the way I see it."

"Agreed, only if it seems lie all hell is breaking loose anyway and there is no other way, or to prevent yourself from dying. Now, we technically have two potential people who can take over his body in a pinch, Guin or Carolina, if we need to, problem then exists where we have a few issues with that. Carolina would require someone to keep an eye on her body, and Guin would actually mentally switch bodies, so someone would need to restrain her a bit when she switched. But the upside being then Cortez wouldn't have any ways to use his powers. That would then be all that matters with that. Since then we can figure out what to fully afterwards, though it likely would be to fully knock out Cortez in some way."

The walls around them randomly began to rattle without warning. Not like it was an explosion or something, no, it had to be something else causing it, and Miranda was partially paying attention to that sort of thing trying to figure out what was causing it. If she didn't now better, she would have said that Magneto was the one causing it, but considering the work done to build this place, he likely wouldn't cause that sort of thing on purpose. Unless he was getting angry about something of course, and given the current situation, well that wasn't too difficult to understand why.

Zelda just looked over when Diana immediately started talking to the others who were in the immediate area. She very much felt out of place at the moment considering the people that she was currently around at the moment were all older then she was. Then again, she didn't exactly make friends super easily, so that wasn't super surprising, but it still was a little weird. She knew who it was that Diana was talking to, but that was about it.

Victoria mentioned maybe heading inside, and Zelda nodded her head a bit at that, though hearing Diana's comment about inviting her and Victoria along with them to go hang out or whatever. "I wouldn't want to intrude or anything with that, you go have fun or something... I'm going to head in though too, instead of just hanging around out here..." she said directly towards Diana when she had asked that of the trio that they were by. Not waiting to see if anyone followed after her, she walked inside of the cafeteria itself, not really wanting to sit around doing nothing for much longer.

"Ooooooh getting candy sounds like fun!" she said happily as they walked along, "But depending on the trick that might be a whole lot of fun at times too, though getting onions just sounds weird to me." Zari wasn't too sure what else to expect with Halloween, odd considering that her birthday was near the holiday, but it also never seemingly popped up or was mentioned where she lived, so of course she knew next to nothing about it.

Day of the Dead sounded like an interesting one, turns out there were definitely a lot of holidays and celebrations out there that she knew nothing about. Asgardians had a few holidays of sorts, but Earth (at least this one) seemed to have a ton of them. "You don't need an excuse to party though. From what I know about how Asgard was before Ragnarok they basically found any excuse to throw a party, no matter how small. But parties are always fun."
