Saw that there was a bunch of SB Curry mix on clearance on the way out of work. Pretty certain the customer in that aisle thought I was crazy when I walked away with all of them.

Hi. If you've wound up here, you're probably wondering who I am.

You can call me Carlyle, though I have gone by several other names prior in the 11-ish years I have spent on this forum that some of you might better remember me as. I'm a middle-twenties retail manager that is still trying to relive the glory days of their roleplay career while balancing a full-time job with an unsatiable need for overtime.

I tend to be open to most things when it comes to roleplay itself, be it whatever genre, group size, system, etc. That being said, I often gravitate to anything that falls in the following categories: anime, fantasy, slice of life, superhero or survival horror. If you think you have a roleplay or an idea that I might be interested in, feel free to shoot me a link; I'll try to get back to you as soon as I possibly can.

I also have a discord server laying around. If we're cool, then I might be willing to a toss an invite your way.

"I figured we could grab some supplies before we left." Kali explained, clearly still uncomfortable at the thought of leaving Gladys behind as she looked back to her neighbor's door. The thought nagged, but it was a choice she'd have to accept. "Food, water, or anything else we might need to evacuate. We don't know how long we'll be gone. Better to be prepared than unprepared, I figure."

Twisting the key in the lock of her apartment's door, Kali opened it and let them both inside. She had hoped it wouldn't take them long to gather some things, as the commotion down the hall worried her. The tense atmosphere was bound for someone to do something stupid.

"Here," Kali spoke as she walked over to a closet, and grabbed some reusable shopping totes to hand to Isaac. It wasn't the best option, but it was what Kali and her roommate happened to have on hand and in surplus as a result of the law banning plastic grocery bags. "The kitchen is over there to the right. Top cabinets above the counter should have some cans and other things, and I think there might be some leftovers in the fridge. I'll be down the hall if you need me, okay?"

This post is for me (and anyone who hasn't found the RP thread yet). Just keeping track of people.

I saw the int check and thought this looked fun, I could use something a bit more casual to get me back into writing. I'm whipping up a character now, how detailed should the sheet be? Making the character sheet is always my least favourite part of doing an RP because I find myself wanting to discover the character as I write rather than deciding everything up front.

@Carlyle I see that Sarah doesn't have a whole lot on her sheet but you're the GM and obviously get special privileges lol

Also hi @IAmTheIsland, I promise I didn't search for you after our chat yesterday, I really did just find this RP by chance and you happen to be here lol


I would prefer some detail but it doesn't have to be to the extremes in content. As for Sarah, yes, I know I haven't finished her sheet. I've had a lot going on IRL in the past few weeks, and I wanted to put the focus more so on the RP since I'm the GM. Her sheet probably won't be finished any time soon since I'm probably going to spend tonight to relax since I'm coming in early tomorrow for a market review (go me for being a manager) and I've worked a week straight by now.

I'm going to force a deadline for new player sheets to get in by the end of this upcoming week. I've had a lot of people mention their interest, but many of those haven't submitted a sheet yet.
