Saw that there was a bunch of SB Curry mix on clearance on the way out of work. Pretty certain the customer in that aisle thought I was crazy when I walked away with all of them.

You can call me Carlyle, though I have gone by several other names prior in the 11-ish years I have spent on this forum that some of you might better remember me as. I'm a middle-twenties retail manager that is still trying to relive the glory days of their roleplay career while balancing a full-time job with an unsatiable need for overtime.

I tend to be open to most things when it comes to roleplay itself, be it whatever genre, system, etc. That being said, I often gravitate to anything that falls in the following categories: anime, fantasy, slice of life, and survival horror. If you think you have something that I might be interested in, feel free to shoot me a link; I'll try to get back to you as soon as I possibly can.

I also have a discord server laying around. If we're cool, then I might be willing to a toss an invite your way.

"That should get us by for a few days. Or at least until we get to wherever they plan for us to evacuate to. They haven't mentioned anything about shelters on the news, right?" Kali replied to Isaac, listening as she walked over to the refrigerator. She reached inside the door and grabbed a small glass jar filled with a reddish berry sauce before returning back to the living room.

"Didn't want to leave without it." Kali explained as she slipped it into her bag. "I know it's refrigerated, but if we're evacuating, one small comfort away from home won't hurt. Lingonberry isn't cheap, you know."

Once they were finally ready to leave town, Kali followed Isaac to the front door. However, her boss suddenly stopped in his tracks, and offered Kali the keys to his car. "I haven't driven in awhile," She stated, hesitant to take the keys at first. Liana was usually the one who drove the two of them around, owing to the fact that it was her car to begin with. "But I can get us there, sure."

Eventually taking the keys from Isaac, Kali followed him out the door and to his car. Placing their supplies in the back, she climbed into the driver's seat and began to drive away once the two of them were buckled and ready to go.

Kali walked down the hallway as Isaac began to search their kitchen for anything they could take with them. Opening the hallway closet first, she reached above and dug around the top shelf for anything of use. Counting her lucky stars, Kali pulled forth three flashlights and a first-aid kit with some medicine. Something Liana must've bought, Kali presumed, as she thanked her roommate for having the foresight to buy one.

Tucking the items in a bag, Kali walked back to the living room. "Did you find anything, Isaac? It isn't much, but I did find a first aid kit and some flashlights." Kali mentioned, then turning her attention to the news report on her television. "They're calling for the whole city to evacuate now. We should probably get going, or we're going to get stuck in traffic."

GM post (or maybe a collab for Sarah & co) is planned soon. It'll probably be up when I'm not drowning with work-related matters via OT, so maybe this Thursday at the earliest when I can get time to start working on things.
