I’m Crimson Flame and I’m addicted to RPing. But sometimes ADHD kicks in, and it takes me longer to reply to things than it should. If I’m taking too long to respond, feel free to say something. Just don’t be rude about it.

There are a bunch of RPs I like. PokĂ©mon, Digimon, Fantasy, Superhero, it would take too long to list them all. I’m not a fan of Horror or Apocalypse settings though.

I have a particular type of character I like making. Look through my Character Sheet thread, and see if you notice what a lot of my characters have in common.

Eh, for every example done right, you have 99 done wrong. I prefer characters who make their intentions known from the start, instead of resorting to guises and manipulation to get what they believe they're entitled to. :P

That’s fair.
I have one, and it relates to the tired old "friends to lovers" trope. Not saying friends can't become lovers, but being friends first is a terrible dating strategy! A one-way ticket to the friend zone.

To be clear, women don't put us in the friend zone. We put ourselves there by being passively pleasing pushovers.

I don’t know, I kind of like friends to lovers. I like when they go from BFFs, to BFFs who kiss and hold hands. It’s so cute if it’s done right!

It’s enemies to lovers I don’t particularly care for. With friends to lovers, there’s a foundation there. You really expect me to believe two people who hate each others guts can suddenly become lovey without one or both radically changing who they are? No

I’ll post in here next.

+ the mons from my personal character when I get a moment of free time to add them in to the CS tab.

@Yankee "She worked on various job projects in between ranting about how interesting specific aspects of specific Pokémon were and making elaborate suits and cosplays based on them."

Furry spotted.

Accepted.

@Crimson Flame

@Ryik I would prefer Kaison, honestly. Felix's background is pushing it with legendary collecting and what not.

Consider Kaison accepted.

@Bartimaeus Alright, Larry, I see you. Or would it be the Striaton trio? Anyway, Bat is definitely going to hate travelling by boat over water.

Accepted.

@BurningCold I like the uniqueness of Auggie's archetype. Not often you see something like it, IMO.

Accepted.

@Thunder999999 Edward's background works well with the plot I have in mind, actually. I might be able to work a few things your way for posts.

Accepted.

Wait did I get accepted? đŸ€š I was just mentioned, but didn’t get a comment.

The bandits couldn’t have been out for an opportune robbery, they were scholars looking to accuse Arvandir of plagiarism. Nothing could ever be simple. Auron smirked to himself at the ridiculousness of the situation. As arrows went flying, he cast an Oakflesh spell on himself. the spell wrapping his body in protective energy. The next arrow deflected off his shoulder with a thunk, clattering harmlessly to the ground.

Auron drew his sword in a smooth motion. He smirked at the irony of the situation. “Ambushed over footnotes and citations,” he said dryly. “This must be some new form of academic warfare.” Auron pointed his sword toward Brigit. “You’re going through an awful lot of trouble for someone who supposedly stole your research. If you’re such a brilliant mind, wouldn’t refuting his findings be a better use of your time? As opposed to resorting to violence like a bunch of ruffians.”

We can have multiple people with the same element right?

I was going to do Water

Julien sat in one of the velvet lined chairs near the center of the theater, his arms were crossed loosely as he watched the show captivated by the performance. It was breathtaking, a seamless blend of artistry, PokĂ©mon coordination, and human creativity. Julien applauded enthusiastically when the final Vivillon drifted offstage. “Bravo!” While he loved being the center of attention himself, he could appreciate a well-crafted performance.

Then the sponsors took the stage. Julien’s attention drifted at first. This was the boring part. A bunch of men and women in plain suits with the charisma of a cardboard box talking. Julien stifled a yawn, and reached for a glass of Kalos RosĂ© from the side table near his seat when something caught his eye.

The flower.

Julien couldn’t explain why, but he felt drawn to it. It was the way the center sparkled and glowed more than the most radiant gemstones. Julien barely paid attention to everything else the man had to say, he couldn’t take his eyes off of it. As Bernard finished his speech and the polite applause rippled through the audience, Julien’s mind raced. That flower wasn’t just an exotic decoration, it felt significant in a way he couldn’t quite explain. What was it about that Crystabloom that felt so powerful?

Julien’s gaze followed Bernard as the man rejoined the other sponsors, chatting as if the glowing flower on his chest wasn’t one of the most remarkable things in the room. For Julien, though, it felt almost like a beacon—something calling to him. Whether it was intuition, coincidence, or something else entirely, he knew one thing for certain, he had to know more.

The next afternoon, Julien stood outside the entrance of the Lumiose Museum. Bijou floated beside him. Julien glanced at her and gave a small smile. “I know, darling. This is very unlike me,” he said, adjusting the collar of his soft pink blazer. Museums aren’t exactly my usual scene, but
”

His eyes lingered on the large poster displayed near the entrance. A vibrant image of a Crystabloom. The picture of it did not do the real flower justice. Beneath the image was the announcement:

“NOW OPEN: BEAUTY IN THE NATURAL AND ANCIENT WORLD – EXCLUSIVE EXHIBIT!”

There was something about that flower that he couldn’t let go of. For a reason he couldn’t explain, it felt important.

“Come on, Bijou,” he said, heading for the huge double doors. “Let’s see what all the fuss is about.”

The interior of the museum was really a masterpiece of architecture and design. Polished marble floors up to high vaulted ceilings, natural light seeping through huge arched windows, illuminating the exhibits. People murmured quietly, walking between the galleries, stopping to admire everything from ancient Kalosian sculptures to pieces of modern art.

Julien didn't stay in the main hall. He went straight to the wing with the new exhibit. The layout was simple, yet elegant: glass cases with rare flowers, stones, and other natural wonders, all preserved for visitors to admire. But Julien's eyes went straight for the centerpiece of the room: a raised pedestal with a huge, fully opened Crystabloom sitting in a glass dome, the flower was just as pristine and radiant as he remembered from last night. Julien exhaled slowly, taking his step closer, and the Crystabloom seemed to glow brighter, as if acknowledging his presence.

He glanced around at the others as they debated and discussed who should be the leader. “We can debate leadership once we’re settled on the finer details.” He said calmly. “Debating who should lead when we haven’t agreed on the mission’s cover is like arguing where to set the sails before we’ve built the ship. For now, I believe Arnvidr’s proposal holds merit
”

Normally, Auron would have outright suggested himself as the leader. As his upbringing as a noble caused him to see leadership as a natural role, but he was trying to be a team player. “The sooner we agree on our purpose, the sooner we can present a united front. Our strength lies not in pretending to be something we’re not, but in turning who we are into something credible.”

He paused for a moment, and smirked, before chuckling a little. “Besides,” he added lightly, though still with that air of nobility, “if we waste much more time debating, the townsfolk will assume we’re a traveling bard troupe rather than a band of professionals.”
